I thought I was the only woman had very already.
We are doing the NFC East talk.
I am at master of us.
Said we have ah, at save daring underscore U S m and then yeah, MVS 80 30 to us said we got Amber and Sam and I We all this work.
Usn unwrapped sports network.
And today we're gonna be talking about the Dallas Cowboys off season and the Philadelphia Eagles offseason What they did through the drafts, and they're free agency moves, and we're gonna have a very spurring debate.
Question coming up later on later on in this in this stream, eso I must start off with you, Amber Europe being cowboys fan yourself.
Uh, what are your thoughts on what the Cowboys didn't during free agency? I know we will.
Like I knew that would happen because you signed Amari Cooper and you sign Zeke, we haven't signed at get, but we're gonna probably gonna get into that.
Byron Jones is probably that I'm in out in that situation.
We lost Travis Frederick, our center all pro center.
So you lose Byron Jones, and you just wanted one of these young guys to step up.
You won't want to eat your guys to really make a difference in their defense.
I thought our secondary played head up and down season last year, kind of up and down.
The U Draft, um, digs out of Alabama.
I was big on the X.
He did kind of get burned a little bit in the national championship game, but I like digs a lot.
Um, got their corn out of Alabama and Nick Saban just breathes defensive players out at Alabama.
So he has that mentality, a defensive mentality, their toughness that we need at the quarterback position for a young guy.
And we still have Anthony Brown.
We got, we lost Jeff Heath.
He went to the writers, I believe Las Vegas writers so that secondary, still young still still live developing.
To do that front, send it.
It's pretty strong, though, that front seven Israel strong, in my opinion, with some of the signings we've had.
But losing Byron Jones was huge.
He went to Miami and signed a deal with Miami, and Miami has like two of the top 10 corners in the league right now, Brian Flores, is an amazing job there in Miami.
I think they're gonna be very good in Miami in the a f C East, But losing Byron Jones.
He was the odd man out in that whole situation because Jack is still not signed.
So if Jack is inside, you signed Amari Cooper.
You got Z Kelly inside, and I think like Donald Collins signed is well, so the money just ran out.
And so they prioritize those players first.
But I knew we were living Byron Jones, and it's sad to see him go, but he made the best decision for him.
Yeah, I think it was kind of a given that Byron Jones was gonna leave.
You mean like you mentioned they? I mean to me.
I mean, we're going to get to the DAC extension pretty quick here, but like, why they waited till now to sign the quarterback? Yeah.
I mean, I think it's partly Dax fault, but to me, I think the Cobb was worse in that situation.
Because I don't get how you consign Jaylin Smith and see and Amari Cooper were running back.
Doesn't you signed seek Inamori Cooper before your quarterback and quarterbacks are really hard to come by.
Is Deck Prescott worthy of getting a long term deal? Absolutely.
But is he worthy of being one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL to be? I don't think he is.
I think he has yet to prove that because he's had an unbelievable supporting cast around him and all his CD lab and going back to your point with Byron Jones.
I was a little bit surprised.
Trevon Diggs fell that far, so I would almost consider that it steals a steal of peg of where you got him.
But I think they're going to expect him.
Teoh come in and make a big difference right away.
Yeah, great, Great.
Great talking points right there.
I want to also come back.
Some other free agency moves that the Cowboys did.
They did sign Gerald McCoy.
They did sign Aldon Smith.
I believe they also signed Don Terry Pope out of those three players.
Who do you believe will make the biggest impact on the Dallas Cowboys this season? In 2020 who were, you know, Gerald McCoy? He went to South East High School in Oklahoma City.
They were our rifle in Oklahoma City.
He went toe you partially German.
Coy, of course, was great with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ah, he left Tampa Bay.
They want to move in a different direction.
I think he still had something left in the tank.
Po is wearing Buffaloes place to have let something left in that tank, eager to see their defensive line rotation that we have a lot of players on the de lives pretty deep.
I like that. I like a deep D line.
We haven't had that in a while.
It's just thinking about it.
We haven't had that in a while.
I think there McCoy will really flourish in their defense.
I think he he could probably cost him having.
We also drafted Naval Gallimore, another Oakland University of Oklahoma guy.
I don't know what it is about Jerry jealousies.
You press the Oklahoma guys, but you got to see them play a lot because they played a Big 12 championship at Cowboys Stadium.
So I think McCoy and Pumpkin really have a huge impact.
Could you keep those guys fresh? You can rotate those guys in and out, keep him fresh.
That's what you want on your defense? Ally, you wanna be able keep those guys fresh? I expect the markets Lawrence toe have a big year this year.
He got paid his money had okay your last year.
But I expect him at a have a big here.
But now he has some help on the D line.
I really think that he can kind of take that next step.
Floors Aldon Smith.
I just want him to stay out of trouble as long as he stays out of trouble.
He's super talented, man.
You know, when he was, he's on the field.
He's so talented.
That's why the 40 Niners, they want to get rid of him because he was just so talented.
All the things he was doing, he was so talented puts it reminds me of Josh Gordon, Josh Gordon.
Keep his head on straight.
He's so talented when he's on the field.
So if we could just keep audience Smith out of trouble, pose gonna do his thing and McCoy is gonna have kind of like little resurrection.
People have given up on me type of season.
I think that defensive line rotation can be very dangerous for Dallas Cowboys.
Yeah, and I go ahead.
I'm first in great people as well.
Amber, I also believe that Gerald McCoy, he's gonna have a bounce back here.
Like so some people over party forgot like Jeremiah Coin when he was in Tampa.
He was one of the best, like defensive tackles in the league, like he was a monster.
And I feel like kind of like when you said he's gonna have that chip on the shoulder.
I feel like Gerald McCoy is gonna be, like the best player.
Probably the most improved player like on that Cowboys defense that's gonna make an immediate impact in could be a deciding factor on what? Whether or not you know, they make the playoffs.
Yeah, I really like the Nevil Gallimore pick.
I mean, like you said, that builds on more deficit guy that I really wanted in Green Bay are Rush are run defense was just a joke in Green Bay.
I mean, I think never Gallimore is going into a really good situation where he gets to learn about veterans.
And I almost think that people are starting right.
Gerald McCoy off because of this time and Carolina his short center.
He didn't do anything.
I think he still I think he could very well.
Still, he's any still plenty left in the tank.
He's only he's only in his early thirties.
I would say at least three, maybe five years.
What I agree I want.
I like to see players have back to bounce back seasons like Cam Newton.
I want to see him do well in New England.
I want to see him flourish in New England.
Carolina just kind of pushed him out the door.
Um, players like that.
You just root for like, I'm rooting for audience Smith.
I want him to get it together because so talented, he's so young.
He's still young, every young A just one.
Players like that to just be able to showcase their talents, just kind of block out all the off the field noise and just put your talent on the field and just show people what you're all about.
Yeah, and I have I have two more.
Two more questions.
Toe kind of recap The free free agency.
Talk for the Cowboys.
One of the other free agents that I forgot to touch upon the Dallas gravelly sign.
Ha ha Clinton Dix, the former safety for the Green Bay Packers and safety for the Washington football team and the Chicago Bears.
Do you believe that Auckland ****s will have a big impact on the defense, especially with Byron Jones leaving to Miami and and other stuff What? We lost teeth.
So they had to get high clan ****s.
I'm gonna ask you a question.
Sounds that you're a Packers fan.
How do you feel about how Clinton days He was one of my her Packers, but looking at Sucked is I mean, we only got 1/4 round out of them, which sucks.
But the same time he was a guy that he got to his point where he was really good and he just didn't regress.
He didn't produce anything more.
He stopped getting better.
And to me, I think it speaks a little bit of volume that he's been on.
This is his third team in the span of what, one or two years you got traded to the Redskins play the rest of that season, signed with Chicago, signed with Chicago, didn't even last like I mean signing a one year deal, and now he's with Dallas.
To me, I think that speaks volumes that he's been with.
This is 13 men going into Hiss, I think.
2nd 3rd season now, Yeah, I also I also like the fact myself.
I honestly feel like ha ha Clinton Dix of all the years you've of Green Bay.
I feel like there's one good you that he had was, I believe, 2016 when he made a Pro Bowl that year.
And I really thought Dunkley Index was going to take another step after that.
Kind of be like those when Green Bay had 21 last November 21 was Charles Woodson, and Charles was.
It was a great play with the Green Bay Packers.
I thought, you know, he has a number 21 if he keeps outgoing thinking maybe that ex captain of the defense like Charles Woodson was, but he never really kind of fill into that.
You got really never filled in tow, that void of being like a great defender and kind of like Samson, I we got more than 1/4 round pick from him, but I'm feeling it was something that had to be done.
Especially because that that year, like great green Man was not was not good that you're in 2018 like something happened that year.
The wheels fell off Rogerson, the coach, Winnick and along to who's actually know what The Dallas Cowboys Mike McCarthy.
Which is definitely gonna be something that won't talk about later on.
Oh, yes, are going Okay.
I want to s you guys how you felt? Because I knew I didn't know you were a Packers fan, man By knew Sam was So I want to get you guys perspective.
One of because you watched, um, as a young working, he watched him grow.
When I did watch packers games, I watched him.
I just saw a lot of inconsistencies from from him from their position.
But maybe, like I said, he could have a recent wave like the year of the resurgence.
So we got Andy dot move.
You know, they kind of gave up on him in Cincinnati.
You got your borrow.
We got draw McCoy.
We got out of Smith.
You know, we got ha ha Clinton. Dix.
Let Jason Witten come back come after Booth and come back.
And now he signed with the writer.
So we're like the resurgent Seem like you want to research your career.
Jerry Jones is like, Come on, coach of the Cowboys.
If you wanna, I want to get a resurgence in your career.
Next thing you know, we'll be signing Josh Gordon.
So you just I mean, you just never know what Jerry Jones.
He should kind like a wild card, but I'm eager to look for toe to see what he brings to the table for this cowboy stage.
Uh, yeah, I'm definitely eager to see what he does as well.
11 more question.
Do you believe that? Cannot boys have the guts to trade for Jamal Adams? No way.
We don't know if we can afford it.
That's a heavy price tag.
I think Gemma Adams is heavy.
I don't think we I don't think Jerry Jones has the balls to do that.
He hasn't signed that Prescott this right? I think if you do that, Dex, gone for sure.
You can't afford it.
Like is he's gonna come.
Somebody's gonna have to get him.
That has some money.
I'm not sure I don't know who has money.
I haven't looked at the financials for images of NFL, NBA and NFL teams yet, but you're gonna have to have somebody to sign Gemma Adams because he is that premier cornerback.
I mean, that premier safety hybrid come plays in the box a little big.
He just does so much for the Jets Very, very well in that situation in in New York, it's just those New York teams are just I don't understand what's going on with those New York todo in the fan base in New York.
It's hard and they're just not No, no, no.
I just shake my head in New York something the only the only good New York team in the New York Yankees, The the only consistently good New York team is the Yankees.
But other than that, you got us.
So those New Yorkers are very passionate, like like I couldn't stand like if I were like a Giant or a Jets fan, I couldn't stand it.
I would be like, Why? Why am I want this team? But I put my heart and soul into this team, and they put garbage out on the field like what's what's going on there? So I got two things.
One is back to your Mike McCarthy point.
I think Mike McCarthy was good Coach, and I don't like when Packer fans say he was an awful coast.
That's not true at all.
He brought us multiple playoff appearances.
Teapot is a Super Bowl ring, and now you're going to Dallas.
He I think he was just outdated and with us for too long.
We needed a new coach in a new culture, and now you bring in that before he wants to get rid of you.
He wanted to get rid of all the Microcar theater evidence.
Now you come into Dallas, and this is where my bold prediction comes in.
Mike McCarthy, Not this part of it.
I'll get to that, but my I think Mike McCarthy takes the Cowboys back to the playoffs.
He's gonna pass heavy offense.
I mean, look at the Titans like Matt and I talked about this a few weeks ago.
During the Packers segment, Man the floor knows how to use tight ads.
The Packers have been given multiple tight ends for talent.
Mike McCarthy's given multiple like tons of talent outside on, and I mean, he doesn't know how to use tight ends the right way and like that's why I was really excited for Jimmy Graham.
But I mean, to me, that's just Jimmy Graham washed off.
And now you go into the pits of the Kabul boys who now have a young Blake Jarman after the departure of again on Jason Witten.
Once again and now you have.
And like I mentioned before about that, he has unbelievable, like weapons.
He has a great supporting cast around him.
He has one of, if not the best offensive linemen in the NFL, and I want to say the last year.
Two years ago, that line had a down year, and he still put up career like one of the best numbers of some of the best numbers of his career.
And this is where my bold prediction comes in because of Mike McCarthy's pass heavy offense.
I think Zeke falls out of the top five running back.
I think that's going to be his stats necessarily.
But I think they're gonna pass the ball much more than they run the ball.
I could see that.
I can see that as well.
You draft city lamb.
You got Gallup. Got Omar Cooper.
This pretty good.
Three good ride receivers, Black jar when you just signed him.
So three year extension.
They got blackmailed like there was more of a blocking tight end, though.
But yeah, I could see that.
But you've got a few, Zeke, somehow, some way.
So if you have this bold prediction, how many cares you can get per game cause he can catch the ball out of the backfield to? So I see that both ways, because Zeke, to me, is the town's enough running back where Mike McCarthy's never had a Z he's never had, like a top five running back ever.
I mean, Brendan are running back in the Super Bowl was Brandon Jackson.
Brendan Jackson was a mediocre at best front that he was not, and I mean he produced, but he wasn't.
He wasn't amazing.
He's never had a top five running backs, so I mean, I'm interested to see how much his workload.
I mean, obviously he still the workhorse back, but I'm interested to see how much his workload will effect in the microcar.
They will be affected in the Michael Carthy offense because, like you mentioned, you do it CD land.
You have three started talented receivers that I mean, I've been a pass heavy offense that I mean, it will be interesting to see how much will be effective in six workload.
I think there's a chance by the end of next season, statistic wise, he falls out of the top five.
Absolutely no question, but I think I can see him falling one or two spots out of the top five.
Okay, I got a question for you.
Do you think that the direction of offense needs to go and show the DAC deserves his money? Because if you think about it, people like, oh, member wins equals out for a long period of time.
People are like, Oh, that can't do the play.
Action is all he's playing quarterback because it shows like one stack was hurt than people saw.
Like just the quarterback that Jack really waas.
So do you think that will become more pass happy because of they want to see the growth of debt? Or I guess you kind of combine it with the offense that McCarty's gonna bring him kill more, gonna have to come together and kind of figure that out.
Or do you think it would just be just solely based on McCarthy's offense? Because a lot of people don't really think Deck is that guy and people want to see more from debt.
But now you have these three weapons, like what choice didn't have. See.
I see that both ways because one, like I mentioned before, and I will get to the Dac Carson once debate, And I mean Jack's been given an unbelievable supporting cast around him.
And what I don't get is how the Cowboys can only go as far as they've ever gone in the playoffs.
They can't even make it past the division around.
But if I'm picking, I mean, I'll start the debate before Caleb joins.
I think Dad is barely West.
I think Carson wants is more talented, not rather have Carson wants to build might seem around, but who would do, I think is better right now? I think it's Dak Prescott.
I think that Prescott is better.
I think that I mean, you can't to me.
I don't think you can really say Carson Wentz.
Definite. Rated it full stop.
You get rid of that Eagles.
Bring for that from Carson West.
I think Dak Prescott has proven more, but who do I think is under pressure? More once Or deck, I almost think.
Is that Yeah, of course I'll be I'll be on the opposite.
I did disagree with Salmon that what I I believe Carson Wentz is better than the Deck and and Grant Granite, even though it was Nick Foles that that led him that led the Eagles to the Super Bowl that year.
I just feel like one car.
So we'll Carson Wentz did last year.
Kind of kind of persuade veto.
Choose once because I was kind of it.
I'm like Dr Owens, Uh, the by the one But But Carson Wednesday last year, leading the Eagles like they were five and seven dead in the water.
They had nobody healthy.
They basically had practice school guys, a receivers, and somehow he managed to lead him to 97 into the NFL playoffs.
Granted, the couple's did implode at the end there, but you got you got to give the man credit like when on the one game on I consider is Week 16.
We look at the Cowboys were the better team they have, the better off they have, the better defense.
They had every much everything better under, then 10. Philadelphia.
But what happens? Jack Prescott doesn't even muster a touched on.
Baylor scored nine points and somehow, Curse of once lead some to victory and leads them to the playoffs now, even though they didn't lose to Seattle, which was gonna expect it in the playoffs like he kind of figured that, you know, most of us that is gonna pull some some tricks up its sleeve and get a victory there.
It was just sad to see once go down the playoffs in that moment, but I just I just think Carson wants is just that guy.
Just on what he's able to do with less stuff like, I mean, we are.
You gonna push? Earlier went, act and have C one was suspended for six games.
It was like a whole different quarterback, like it was not like his one year where they won 13 games.
When Zeke and Debt, you know, doing the 12 punch now one thing that I would like to see.
That kind of look, you said, You guys about McCarthy, I feel like they're gonna be in past at the office.
I mean, let's not forget Dak Prescott threw for about 5000 yards last season.
So it's not like they're gonna go back toe.
You know, that run heavy offense that they did, You know that strip year because we didn't know what waas But I just personally believe they're going to stick with the pass heavy offense.
And this is why I agree with Sam at the point that Jack has more pressure just because he hasn't got his money yet.
What's got his money? So now it's just about play like towards that contract that you deserved.
So for personally, Deck has got to be that guy who can't before.
But hopefully it up before I wish you nothing but the best.
But you know he's got he's got perform when what the money is on the line.
You gotta get those big wins against those playoff, I think.
Carson Wentz, I like Carson Wentz.
I do I like back.
Of course, I'm kind of the middle on that argument because crossing winds really hasn't had much to work with, honestly and fairly, Um, they may.
They got regarding the draft.
I love Rieger. I like him.
It's TCU, of course.
Not much. 12 football a lot.
So you get him some weapons and let's see what he does.
He has a stud tight end and got Mile Sanders a running back.
They kind of have those pieces that you re sign Jason Peters.
So they have those pieces there.
I want to see what Carson wins does with a full deck of cards.
That makes sense.
I want to see if he can get the Eagles to wear.
There is no comparison between him and deck, and I also want to see the same thing from debt.
Now that's have war in his deck, then wins, has wits, has had some injury issues as well, so the pressure is on deck.
I do believe the pressures on debt, but also there's some pressure on wits because of the fact that people want to see him fully healthy without the knee brace without those aches and pains.
But you're gonna have that as a quarterback anyway.
I mean, you're getting hit constantly.
People want to see in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia has itself fan bases.
Well, they want to see whence at his full strength with that four deck of cards.
Okay, you're completely healthy. We've drafted.
Well, we put these pieces around you.
Okay? What can you do? Even though he already signed his deal, it's kind like, Okay, what can you do? Because that other quarterback in a division is That's your competition, you know? So you're looking at Jack.
Is your competition okay? The Cowboys, America's team.
Everybody phrase him as America's team.
But we just won a Super Bowl so that pressure's on wits toe outperformed deck in that six.
But you have pressure on that because this is his contract here.
He is playing under the franchise tag, and he has a full deck of cards.
And Jerry Jellison, Stephen Gels have done a great job of putting pieces around him for him to be successful.
Yeah, they definitely after shirt mind.
My next question waas has to do with the offensive line.
Losing Travis fresher was huge.
Um, I mean, now you draft Tyler beyond a shadow Wisconsin and this guy was projected to go somewhere in the late second early third round, and he dropped to I want to say somewhere in the fifth round it had something to do with this injury history.
Something happened, combine or like his numbers that he put out.
Do you think Tyler be honest, Could be that guy to fill in the shoes of Travis Frederick.
That's a big shoe to feel.
That's what you should feel we're gonna have to see with time.
I always give young players time.
I watched him a Wisconsin.
Of course, I watch Big 10 football because Big 10 football comes on on Fox Sports right before Big 12 football.
So I'm waking up and I'm watching ****.
It was one of those offenses that play typical Tim football.
Now, how can he pass blocking rumble lot? That's those.
The two different type of blacking schemes.
We'll have to see that.
Are we gonna plug him in right away? Um, he's gonna be their starting center, you know? Can he re Blitch is, you know, audible the line that centers that anchor.
You know that senators anchor there live so he has a lot, but he has big shoes to feel.
I wonder if Travis Frederick will come back and mentor him on how to play.
That position would be smart.
Kelly More He could kind of, you know, get with telling more.
Okay, this is what killing more likes.
This is what deck waxes.
Speak likes on his black and scheme.
Um, I want to see if that happens.
I would really like to see more NFL players do that.
You know, you retire because he had health issues, you know, we wish him the best.
You retire, you come back.
And you mentioned a young guy that field your position so that your team could be successful because mentor ship is very important NFL, as we saw with Bret Farve and Aaron Rodgers and another tackle you did draft a few years ago.
Actually, a hometown guy was counter Williams.
And what kind of do you see him? Kind of giving an increased role, or, I mean, do you see him kind of fighting for a a role position? Because he hasn't really made much of an impact.
As, um, Cowboys fans and coaches would really thought Yeah, Carter, Carter Williams is a wild card for me.
I watch him play and I'm like, Man, he could really be good Sometimes its feet are a little slow.
Sometimes his hands are in the right position, but then you see games.
You're like, Wow, he's very talented.
So I want to see if he can put that together this year if we're gonna be a pass happy offense to see if you can put together a great year, you know, because that offensive line, a lot of GM are now drafting office environment because I see how important it is.
Las Vegas traders.
When they were the Oakland Raiders, they were drafted.
Office Environment had one of the best offensive linemen of offensive lines in the league in the past couple of years.
If the Indianapolis Colts would have drafted offense environment, Andrew Luck will probably be playing football.
So the Office of Line is very important.
But he has to stay consistent because if you're not consistent, there's a guy right behind you willing to take your place.
So I want to see if he can stay consistent throughout the season, and yet that will definitely be one of the keys to look forward to for doubt.
Scout was if he is staying consistent.
But I saw some other drafts traffic, since we're starting to go until more of the draft, we didn't talk about Stevie Lamb.
And how big of an impact you'll make for Dallas at 6 17 Also trade bond digs.
There are also some other things that they made in the third round.
They such defensive tackle the veal.
I believe it's Scout down more.
And the fourth round They drafted a corner.
The second, uh, saving some of those picks.
Do you believe they can make any the impact to this Cowboys team at all in 2020? I think Naval gal or being a rotation, I do think he'll be in a defensive line.
Robinson the second plate.
It's also, I don't know, Oklahoma guys and Jerry Jones.
I just, you know, thank you, very, um, I have to see him play up a bit more.
Have to watch the more film on him to see what kind of impact I think he'll have.
But the secondary is young.
I think it's hard for Young plans to transition into the NFL at the corner position when you don't have ah older veteran and confident or you into that position because the game is a lot faster.
Players are a lot bigger and stronger.
He played in Conference USA there.
It's also, even though we play them pretty much University of Oklahoma Place and pretty much every season and he had to be good.
He had to be good enough to be drafted that high coming out of a non power five conference.
So developing those young guys and be important.
I think we have to do that because Dallas is young that their young team kind of look at it, have a good mix of young and young and old.
But that defense of that secondary is very young.
That secondary is young, so I want to see how he develops and see will.
There won't be any preseason games that ****, so it's kind of like Ah, like the preseason to me.
I really pay attention to that.
To see these guys got drafted and play specialty teams.
A lot of guys aren't used to play.
Special teams in college are used to being the guy and then there, plugging me.
Okay, If you want to make this week in three man roster, you're gonna play some special teams and you're gonna learn his position.
But quarterbacks, right now, are you paid? Ah, lot of money, huh? Seems like quarterbacks and running backs.
So if he could develop into that guy, then then he'll be.
He'll be good for us, but I think never Gallimore would have Probably The biggest impact is because I defy supplied rotates more than those corners do.
So I think they will have a bigger impact.
But I'm eager to see what of the young guy the young Robinson God brings.
Yeah, definitely interested as well.
Especially because he's gonna have to fill in for a guy like Byron Jones, who we discussed earlier, departed to Miami and got got his big payday down there.
Let's let's move on to some general predictions for the Dallas Cowboys.
What seven I have done the last couple of weeks is we do it offensive them BP.
Were you a defence of M v P? And we do, too Archie's most improved player this season and that also team record.
Are you know what the capitalist fan Amber.
If you would have to pick an offensive EVP this season, who wouldn't be for the Dallas Cowboys? This is no South cliche, but I would say that because he has to prove his worth the money once it's gonna happen. B deck.
If it's not Deck and they're gonna move towards a pass happy offense, then that's scary.
Um, I think it's going to be that for office of M V. P.
For me? Yeah, I think it's taxes.
Well, I wanted her percent agree.
I think he's gonna prove his worth.
I think he's gonna prove to the Cowboys that he wants that he's worthy of an extension.
And they had They had the contract out.
They were really close to signing the extension.
It was it was between 33 to 37 million, just over $100 million from 3 to 5 years.
I think it was put the time ran out.
I think you cruise is worth I have is my Yeah, I first agreed to you guys as well.
I can tell you it has to be debt because I mean, we look intact. Prescott.
Yeah, he threw for 5000 yards last year.
Wait, which is no slouch like when a quarterback girls for 5000 yards like it's a very impressive feat to do, but he only won eight games.
Like like you throw 5000 yards.
You know, most quarterbacks, you think it's just like a 10 11 would see if you get into the playoffs.
I like Dak Prescott is gonna need to have another one of those seasons.
He's gonna need to have another close to 5000 yards and he has to make the playoffs.
My feeling of Dak Prescott doesn't make the playoffs this year.
He won't get his extension in Dallas.
I feel like he's gonna have maybe a save situation, kind of like Jason Garrett.
What happened with Jason Garrett last year is you looking down, so I kind of had to make the flowers and make a run or else he's gonna be fired and which, you know, they missed the plans and he got fired, which everyone expected to happen.
I think that's gonna have to do the same thing for Jack Prescott.
I feel like that Prescott is gonna need to have another good season like he had, But he's gonna have to make the playoffs.
Or else they're gonna be like, Hey, you know, way.
Why would we pay you almost a $1,000,000,000 with you? Didn't even make the playoffs? Your demon win a playoff game.
So that's that's you.
My own office of EVP, and we all have to save one.
They're moving on to our defense of M V P, who you believe will be the defense of NPP for the Dallas Cowboys.
I think he gets back.
You know where he was.
Probably like a year to go before he signed his big deal to markets.
Lawrence, I think deal.
I will be our defensive MPP.
I'm predicting double digit sacks this season, so I think he'll be our defensive MVP.
Vander Rush went on when he went down.
You could see like when he's healthy, you could see the chemistry of that defense.
I mean, for rookie to ah, young guy.
I mean, when he's heard you could you could you could see it, how big, like how much of an impact that made.
And if he stays fully healthy, I think that defense could be very slept on one. It's something wash.
And I think, lighten vendor.
That's just gonna be a huge part of that.
I person agree as well.
I believe that it's gonna be late blight and band arrest, you know? I mean, I feel like he's gonna bill in for a perfect Boyd in before you got hurt last year.
He was a very good linebacker.
He kind of essentially, you know, set.
Ah, lower straight kind of line. Beckert.
Uh, we have ah, Karen Connor, US end question coast.
We're going at him, and he is the the Eagles side of things.
So we're gonna give him and and as well we're gonna wait on the We're sorry about that.
So I were What? While we're waiting on that started, it was back to my discussion.
What's going on, Caleb? What's going on? The O.
You said that yourself with seven people. That's watching.
I'll be I didn't get his way.
Okay, So So All right. All right, Caleb.
So we were discussing some Dallas Cowboy predictions.
If you were to have to predict an offense of EVP for the Dallas Cowboys, who would it be? and why you say our offensive MVV Yes, that's a good question this year.
You know where I'm going? Ezekiel Elliott. I'm a goat.
You seem pretty frustrated on Twitter way.
We know he has a lot to prove, and I think, you know, they're gonna have a balanced offense to have a lot of receivers, so they're gonna be able to throw the ball.
But I think it is eagerly is gonna run up his touchdowns this year.
And I think he's in and didn't wanna have a great year, I think I guess he Ezekiel Elliott benefiting the most out of autos Guys on offense out there. I see.
All right? Yeah.
And, uh, we're also just discussing our defense of than the p.
Amber has DeMarcus Lawrence as her defensive MPP.
Sam and I both have played and Van dressed as our defensive envy.
Peace Now, Caleb, for you.
If you were having defense of MPP, who would it be for the Dow? Scott was in 2020.
I got DeMarcus Lawrence, bro.
I'm not too invested in their defense, but I got DeMarcus Lawrence because he's just a beast off the edge.
He's gonna be a pressure on the quarterback every time.
I don't disagree with you guys a decision.
I think that guy's a great defensive Flora's.
Well, I just need the markets.
Florence is a big impact on that defense because without without him, you know they have.
Nobody gets the quarterbacks.
So I mean, I think he plays an important part in defense.
I will go to market.
Definitely great choices are the bank question.
As for you, Caleb, Who's the better quarter? That Jack Prescott? Carson Wentz? Uh, have you guys asked this question? Wave already inputted before you put it, are decisions Amber's got Dak Sam, Who did you have? I attacked and I had went some way.
Press concept one.
And I want to say when says I'm gonna be biased.
I'm an Eagles fan.
I want to say, Let's but let's take it out.
He's proved a lot, but he has a mortar proof.
So right now I probably go Dad, write new as he's more healthy.
I'm a be honest is because we're hoping, but I think it went has more.
There's I think, but I think it has more challenge.
Yeah, I for sure.
I thought you were gonna side with one of the little off been out here, But you guys didn't We have a point like it cooked Carson Wentz.
And he has been help, you know, said since his second year.
But you gotta yeah, came to mind when he's healthy.
He was basically an M v P player his second year before you got hurt.
Let's all be honest here.
The reason why they gave Brady that NTP was because he was helping like Cardiff Carson wants is healthy. That year.
He wins at the T, and you still leave the Eagles to the Super Bowl that year.
Here that he does.
You guys still give him that credit for the Super Bowl? Your Eagles winning here? Here's the one thing that I give him credit for.
I give him credit for setting up Nick Foles to succeed like Lychee.
Set him up to basically what was it like a 12.
And to record he basically set him up to 12 into like that is not easy going 12 in two and 14 starts.
So that's the only training I give them their.
Obviously, the playoffs is different.
I don't give any credit in the playoffs because you don't play like if you don't play in the playoffs.
You don't get any credit.
But the one thing I do given credit on this basically because you basically clinched the Eagles number one seed like even if ones went down, they were the number one seed.
So I give him credit for setting up that number one seed.
I want to see what you guys give Carson less credit for it.
Wow, I like I like Carson wins.
Like I said before, I like Carson wins.
It's just that Nick Foles you had that Falls magic man, and it was working.
But that set up was nice.
The defense, actually was the defense, you know, on Twitter, people were putting a burnt toast next to the Eagles secondary in a while.
So you know, the defense got it together.
I think it was just there year, man.
It was just their year Now.
Could Carson Wentz have won a Super Bowl? We will never know that.
That's probably one of the biggest what ifs.
I think, in Philly history is.
What if Carson Wentz got that? M V P? Could he have won the Super Bowl? We don't know, but I think Nick Foles it was just his time.
It was his time to kind of show he'd been a journeyman throughout his whole career, and it was just kind of his time.
And Philly fans were very grateful that they had Nick Foles and he ended up getting a big contract.
After that, I think way, way deeply still.
They paid a guaranteed.
What does he do, play one game, his collarbone, and then they cut in the next year and then the mustache comes to fruition, so I don't know.
It just kind of It's what else? Things where that's what it.
But I think Carson wins.
They sent him up like you said Matt.
He did set him up for success.
That defense played very well that year.
Like I talked about, Carson wins having all those pieces, all those, all those cards in a deck that's trying to see if he could do that again this year.
See what kind of run equals should go on.
The sheriff beat them in the Cowboys for sure, because the Giants, I just don't trust the Giants in Washington.
I just don't know about Washington, so I think it between the use of the Cowboys will be dad versus wins for a long time.
You know that division is young when it comes to quarterbacks.
Yeah, it and gently will be.
That will be the main thing that top about the last thing that will discuss for the Dallas Cowboys.
Let's give our season.
Oh, I'll start before we get through a season. Predictions.
Who do you guys believe will be the most improved player on the Dallas Cowboys, say, a player already down here.
But last season, bubble improved this season.
The thought process here.
All right, I'll go.
I'll go although with mine, while you guys everything about it.
But I honestly believe it's going to be a Zico.
Elliot, I think Zico, L.
Is gonna be the most improved plan of Dow Scout was the reason why is you don't pay a guy $90 million.
You're still had two years left on his contract.
Just, uh, just I have ah doubt down here are Let's see here down here.
He wasn't, You know, the same Ezekiel Elliott that we saw who was kind of that power guy brought running down your throats Tons.
And I think that's what you think it was gonna dio.
I feel like, you know, And I also believe that would be like the same with all the contract place.
Like when people get paid their contracts like the first years.
Sometimes they did like they didn't the first year because it's like a new system new offensive that second year, they just skyrocket.
I felt that's what's gonna happen with the Zika Elliot.
Like, I feel like the last year they wanted to go a little, a little bit more past past every with that.
That's why he had over five years passing.
I feel like Zika Elliott is gonna be e.
I think you think what else could be hungry, especially because now he's gonna have, like, the offseason workouts and stuff, whatever he decides to do.
And I personally believe that if Dax struggles this season, I wouldn't be surprised they like Maisie, go on the ball, go be like 2016 Zeke, and carry us to the promised Land Cariaso playoffs.
That's why I got a ticket.
Eliot as a most improved player for douse cabals in season.
I don't put your own McCoy.
I think Gerald McCoy makes a pretty big impact.
I think he makes a quick name for himself.
I mean, look at the number you just mentioned with the defense with the line.
I mean, that run defense is gonna be scary.
You have Centauri po, you have Gerald McCoy.
And then you have Nevil Gallimore, who's going to be mentored by Gerald McCoy, who was one of the best defensive lineman early in his career.
And then you have the markets, Lawrence someone as the second edge rusher.
The edge rusher on the other side is got some big shoes to fill.
Its going to be interesting.
I think that one's kind of up for debate, kind of up for a competition.
They didn't trade away Taco Charlton.
And now, um, I don't remember who said it was a guy in the Dolphins that said he wants to.
He wants to make Taco Charlton one of the best edge rushers in the league.
That's how much potentially seasoning.
But I've got journal coy.
I'm I'm not the wild card in here, and it's gonna sound weird.
It's gonna sound very odd, but I'm a throw it out there because we are going to be so past happy Blake job one just signed a three year extension, so I really, honestly think that blood driving job we have a break out season.
I think his numbers can improve from last season.
You sign a tight end.
I know McCarthy in his tight ends, but killing more.
We'll see if they can work together and figure that out.
But you don't sign a guy so it through your extension and not use him.
So I'm gonna go with a wild card.
I'll say Blake Jarman will have better numbers this year than he had last year.
Just because Dak is going being, it's gonna be passed happy.
I also agree with Zika as well, because you're gonna have to try to find that balance with him and coming back.
I love John McCoy, comeback player.
Of course, he's gonna mentor a young naval Gallimore.
He's already actually mentor him cause they both went to the University of Oklahoma, so have a little inside scoop on it.
So I agree with you there, too, as well, Sam.
So I'm gonna say Blake Darwin, even though he was Oklahoma State guy, don't hold that against him.
He will have a better season than he had last season.
And I'm looking for him to produce more at that tight end position cause we've been missing there for a while.
So you know who had Jason Witten but start to slow down a little bit later in his career? I want to see a black job.
One can catch, at least let's say 50 passes this season.
I say seven or eight touchdowns I want to see is black job.
It could be that big tightening up in the red zone that we need because we don't have tall receivers.
So that a bottle black dropping in there in the red zone him and blackmail, blackmail would work great raids on his will.
What? That's cool.
I'm gonna go with somebody in a lot.
I'm a go at Lyle Collins Now.
I know the line wasn't the best.
Last year was solid, but I know it wasn't the best.
In the left side, they have Tyronn Smith.
So they kind of locked that down upside with him being the guard that he earned in the tackle that he is.
But what Royal Collins.
I know that he's a young guard.
He has some time to grow.
So I think this year you'll be taken, uh, step in their step forward and you know that will allow the running game to go both ways.
Left, right forward, beneficial for Ezekiel Elliott.
And you know, Dak Prescott.
The definitely, definitely good good options on a wide variety we got, We got great players.
We got some good wild cards.
Now back to my things.
I was saying earlier, What do you guys have at the Dallas Cowboys season? Predictions to close it out for the Dallas cobbles.
I've said before, they're you know, they could be a 13 and three team more at six and 10 7 in 19.
But round it off, I think they can That end up, uh, 10 and six.
I'm giving my started 10 years.
I mean, there are offenses just oh, d hope big putting together.
I got him going 10 6 I think they could do so side issue.
Not too much inside of you and and the right you guys got 10 and six as well.
I got tenants six as well.
Anything below 10 wins, I think will be disappointing, I think if.
But I also think that the Eagles have the potential so also probably beat.
Maybe maybe 10 and six.
I think it's gonna come down the last couple of games of the year like it always does with those who goes to teams.
And I think for us and win the division, we're gonna have to win 11 game because I think Carson Wentz has his fire his eye like Okay, I've been injured.
I haven't been the best quarterback vest ability.
Ability is availability, and I have been available for my team.
He's had a lot of chatter.
He's had a lot of chatter.
So I think Crossing wins is going to go out there and try his best to outdo deck.
I told you guys that they're gonna be balanced for years to come, so I think what those teams is gonna have to win 11 games because that would the NFC issues.
He doesn't get two teams in the playoffs using does not.
So it's sometimes do something they do have the extended playoff to, And I think that's huge for socking divisions.
Yeah, because if they're, I think one of those teams might have to win 11 games.
Maybe, but I had to make 76 anything below 10 wins.
I will be very disappointed.
Well, you're gonna be very disappointed with by until I going.
Nothing in seven, according with 97 though I want to get in the playoffs would get you in the playoffs that they're not.
But here 97 they're going to get in the playoffs or takes but one.
I don't have the e u.
I have the Dow's gonna was going 19 7 and just barely missing the playoffs there.
There is something over the Dallas Cowboys.
I will go. Stephen A. Smith here.
What can go wrong for the Cowboys will go wrong.
I just think so.
Some sound's gonna happen like that.
There's gonna be a situation where somebody's gonna rise to the occasion and they just fall fall flat.
Now don't get me wrong like nine and seven is good for some teams like the team goes on its seven like it's good, But when you're in the Dallas Cowboys and you got attacked Prescott this contract here, he can't go 97 I think he's gonna go 97.
Oakley he person wrong because, you know, if he proves me wrong, you know, I I'll give him credit where Credit's due and just say I was wrong.
I doubted the Dallas Cowboys spot.
You know, we'll see.
We'll see what happens there.
So we got 3 10 and sixes and one dinos. Seven.
Now let's move on to our final team of discussion.
It will be Kayla's favourite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, as the chant goes e a g l e as eagles.
What's happening? We got the Philadelphia Eagles last season.
They went nine and seven, and Canadian clowning decided to shove Carson Wentz his head into the ground of the playoffs and and their playoff hopes there, they're off sees.
It was very interesting.
Now I start with you.
What are your thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles trading for the current Lyons corner? Darius Slay.
I mean, I think it would go move on the defense.
We've needed it We didn't have no facts.
I think we have receivers.
DeMann everything BB way.
I mean way we needed it.
So it wasn't about trading Rise, I think was pretty change.
The eagles corners suffered drastically for the passengers.
They needed that there.
I think that was a huge pickup, but that might be one of their biggest moves they've made in the off season.
Yeah, especially that we have.
Ah, this is the last name.
But your ****s way.
Use him while we can wait.
Definitely needed todo so calif.
I have a question for you, Big Eagle fan.
Do you think that Carson with has enough around him for that team to make the playoffs this year? I do. I do.
If we play their ways, you know, for a fact comes down with the coaching.
You know, we're not playing the right way.
We're not turning.
We're turning over the ball a lot.
Then we're gonna lose.
What if they get, you know, control the clock, not turn over the ball? We have explosive fast receivers, so that could hit at any time.
We could turn that light switch on it anytime you got some started running backs, got Tarver's.
He ran all Sean Jeffrey, definitely working at Red Zone.
So I think we controlled the game controller flat.
I wait. We could grab shillings.
I think he is at 6 11 and five.
No Wieting loving your part.
But if we are ****, that's great season.
Yeah, definitely, that I give my take on a Darius like I feel like various light is a bang condition for the Philadelphia Eagles.
I think that's been a corner, that they've been visit for a long time, and that's why I have I get getting a good amount of wins.
I'll explain my season predictions later on in the video.
But that's Farsi.
One of reasons why I believe that they could do some big things this year.
Let's let's gotta movinto some of their draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles had an interesting, good but yet interesting OK draft with the 21st pick.
Instead of drafting Justin Jefferson, the receiver from Ellis you just wanted after championship, they decided to go with TCU receiver Jalen Reagor.
What what kind of your thoughts on that where you guys surprised that they decided to go with Reagor instead of Jefferson.
I'm interested in hearing you guys personally.
Personally, I was I was kind of surprised.
I'm a big l issue guy.
11 of the reasons because my sister goes to L S U.
So, you know, that's a great gateway in.
And I saw just Jefferson becoming great receiver.
I honestly wish that you would fall to Green Bay, but no one, the cheese I didn't receivers that I wouldn't have happened.
Even when green been traded up, he was already taken.
But I just kind of feel like Philadelphia.
God kind of lift.
I mean, don't get me wrong.
They drafted a receiver, which what they needed, and with Jane Reagor.
But I feel like it's one of those where you could have had a guy who has the potential to be a number one injustice Jefferson.
But instead you go with, uh, like Jalen Raider.
I mean, media is in favor.
Of course, everybody would expected them to go with a deaf Justin Jefferson.
I mean, I like regular.
I think he's, you know, I just shows a very the team did the classics teams got somebody more like Tyreek Hill, unless embellish.
So Whoever his production won't show because TCU doesn't tell the body much.
They're probably one of the only teams in the Big 12.
It doesn't toss it around a lot.
They're built on.
He fits and running a football.
It's you. See you.
So when you look at his receptions, you're like, OK, but then you look at Mel Kiper Jr and talk to me. Shame.
And they break down film on him and understand why he is a potential second round pick, even though the Eagles took him very early.
But I thought he was going to stick around.
Um, you kind of look at that and you kind of matches his film with his production and you try to see what everybody else see.
See what the Scouts see.
I've seen a lot of of Rieger there in the Big 12.
I think he's very He could be very productive in the offense for Philadelphia, But just in Jefferson, a lot of those picks surprised me.
The receivers picks were out of went when, when Vegas took the receiver that day took.
I think everybody was like what I knew they were going to go in our big I, too, because that is a total.
Mike Mayock moves this well.
Yeah, I like my may I, but sometimes, but I was also a Tyreek Hill movies.
Well, yeah, he's very and Derek cars back.
Be healthy enough for him to throw the ball downfield that far.
We'll we'll, we'll see if that happens.
But it's It's kind of like what else? Things where you need to see him in the offense is gonna pass the ball because you didn't see that a lot of you, I think he probably had about 45 receptions or so last year.
So if you saw him in the often say it either home estate or University of Oklahoma, where they pass the ball a lot, that he probably would have had that production of 70 Eddie receptions where just in Jefferson that often said, l sutures took off and just showed up by people like, Where is this from? You know, you got that offensive my for New Orleans Saints, and you put him there with Joe.
Borrow the guy that people forgot about.
He went to Ohio stage play behind those corvex Ohio State and Justin Jefferson just took off and they would just toss the ball it where it looked like the big 12.
And I loved it and they talked the ball over the O use defense.
But we're not gonna talk about that. It still hurts.
But I was shocked the receiver picks.
I was shocked at a lot of the receivers picks.
It started with the making with Vegas, and I was like, Whoa! And in the city Lamb failed that far.
But Jerry Jones is like, Are you serious? It didn't take him long to pick because he knew he was gonna go it.
So I want to see what kind of production rigor gives the Eagles offense.
I am very eager to see that.
Yeah, I want percent agree.
C j and rigor Jail.
Like you mentioned, he was.
See this like second round pick a day, early day to pick.
And then you see his combine time, even Henry raw eggs, too.
He's got as they're almost like the John Ross is of the draft.
People reach for them.
I mean, Henry rugs was its hold on Mike Mayock movement.
I think it's gonna work doing.
Arnett was even a shocking pick, and I still I still think he's gonna work out the only every pick that my mic back is a draft genius and going back to the raid.
Earthy Eagles, The knock the one night that I always give on Big 12 is they don't play like the defense is that they play a big toll, is not known for having good defense is they're not known for playing an elite defense jail.
And Reger was a really shocking pick to me.
And I think he has a lots approved Teoh prove that he's worthy of being that wide receiver to next to Sean Jackson.
Like, Yeah, something start getting busy like I What was that? I need you to be around Receiver three b wow did.
Sean is two and Dachau deputies, and then the guy urged that.
Yeah, for sure, and and I'd honestly say the second biggest surprise and it'll 20 NFL draft with the second round pick, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Oklahoma's quarterback, Jalen Hurts now came up.
How surprised were you that the buildup Eagles drafted Jalen Hurts instead of maybe taking care of other needs.
I was pretty surprised, but I must say, I wasn't I wasn't I was mad at really was, You know, likely Lee mentioned earlier when ties have been hurt the I mean healthy.
And I would hate for once so, you know, get injured again and we go the horrible quarterback.
So I feel like they used them for by go purposes.
I think he could be a very good back up and develop into a starter if when she gets hurt used straight, however they use them.
But, I mean, I wasn't mad at it.
We needed a backup quarterback.
So I have a friend that's an Eagles fan as well.
And we're on the phone right after the day one.
He was livid, and after Day two he was.
He was even more of it Jalen Rieger than Jalen hurts.
I can't believe this and see, I think it was stupid where you picked him.
But like you said, I think it makes sense.
And what my friend said is he isn't like the idea of the Eagles kind of developing two quarterbacks at the same time.
Assuming wins is going to go down and they were seeing on first take.
I'm think Kellermann said this.
Yeah, if one's goes down, Hurts is their next franchise quarterback like Okay, okay.
If he develops into, like like if he if winces out like eight games and you give her it's like eight games and he does good those next eight games and wins those next eight games.
Do you think that he's not gonna have opportunity in the next year? Proven? So what do you do? Like I like your point that you made better with trade bait, because what do you do with a guy that you bench that you paid? Ah, 100 plus $1,000,000? You can't like.
You can't pay a guy 100 plus $1,000,000 to set of the batch, so I think it makes more sense Teoh pay him or not paying.
I think it makes more sense to trade to use jail and hurts his trade bait, and I'm not Hi, I'm Jalen hurts.
I think Jalen Hurts is gonna be a backup quarterback.
I don't think he's a guy.
I don't think his game translates into the NFL.
I don't think he's a guy that's gonna lead you.
He's got nothing.
He's gonna win you games.
But, I mean, I think it would be interesting if Carson Wentz is healthy.
We've seen the talent of Jalen Hurts.
Will they use him? And I mean in some sort of scheme.
Some sort of scenario, if Carson wants is fully healthy.
The one thing I gave you that the Eagles we're gonna try and do is try to use Jalen Hurts.
Kind of like a taste of hill top the situation I take you that I I honestly don't don't know why they try to utilize um, like that I personally don't think it makes sense.
I feel like tasting hip Taysom Hill.
It's kind of like a once in a once in a generation type of guy, just a guy who could do it all like we've never seen a guy that complaint quarterback could also do.
Running back could also be a tight end.
Could also be a receiver.
Could also be a kickoff return guy Like we we haven't seen really a guy that can that could be like that.
And another thing I'd say about Jalen Hurts is can keep throw the ball like he did at Oklahoma cause cause on Beyonce.
When he was with Alabama, he was basically known as as a as a warmer running type of quarterback, like a God who could just do read, often controlling OK, but wasn't really threatened to throw the ball.
But when he transferred to Oklahoma, that's when he started to kind of develop.
You know that Facet gave that, don't we now see and why he got drafted second round.
So it will be interesting to see what happens with Jalen Hurts and how the Philadelphia Eagles are going to use, um, appropriate for that back of TV role cause we stayed in before and well stated again.
Carson Wentz. He's bed.
He's at issue of entering pros like he's been very, very injured, a lot so *****ing to see what happens.
And essentially, when will siege.
I think Jalen hurts. I'll go ahead.
Okay, I'm gonna say one thing about Jalen hurts they better not use him as it Tim Tebow type of guy like that would have destroyed my heart because Lincoln Rally put in a lot of work with him now.
University of Oklahoma to be able to throw and being in that offense is very complicated, and people don't understand how complicated that office is.
Course, you guys now have some inside scoop, but Rusty Oklahoma is not simple at all.
So you plug in a guy that came in from Alabama system.
Think Steve Sarkisian was his offensive coordinator from thinking correctly Come in from Alabama, System is completely different.
The SEC is completely different.
And if you cannot score at least 40 points in the big 12 you're not gonna win a football game.
Where is the SEC? They play a lot of different, more open.
Now they're opening up.
Their offense is more.
But do not put him in a Taysom Hill road.
Do not do it. I will be very disappointed.
I thought that Pittsburgh was gonna take him.
Honestly, it makes sense for Pittsburgh to take him to kind of learn from being for a couple of years and then let Mike Tomlin kind of push him into their road, but not put him in the situation.
That would really tick me off.
I'm sorry I got a little emotional there, but I don't put him in that same situation here.
I hope that they just let him develop and quarterback and kind of kind of see what happens.
Maybe that this could people.
But maybe they let Carcelle let's plant his contract.
And if they don't like what they see out of Wednesday, they if he doesn't get to the promised land baby there like a West we preach your big buddy to its promise.
Weighing in you.
We got a guy in Jalen hurts you that we've developed 3 to 4 years.
We're gonna pull him in instead of you get out of town.
No, it will be interesting to see if that happens, but you know that that's three or four years down the road that will be that hurts, needs a lot.
Lot of grooming.
I mean, if you look at these quarterbacks all the early ones up until Jalen hurts, he 100% easily needs the most curving ego washes tape.
I mean, what what I respected about him is ah, lot of times you see quarterbacks.
When they get benched, they immediately go into the transfer portal.
And I think the fact that Jalen Hurts played out that season when behind you, and then transferred I think that showed a lot of maturity on his level.
But if you want some of his tape in the Big 12 I mean, like you mentioned ever, you don't score like 30 40 points in the Big 12.
A team that's not known for having me defense is if you go watch some of his early tape.
He's a guy that I mean, when he's under deep pressure, he'll just lost the ball in the air.
I mean, like that, that that to me and like, then you go into the NFL and I mean the NFC and a lot more with lot tougher in the offseason.
Me now and then you're going now you're gonna have a Dallas twice a year, and now you're gonna have an up and coming Redskins defense twice a year.
And there's more.
I mean, things to be considered.
I take over a franchise angry.
Yeah, huge strides like Lincoln has put some of the tools in him, But I agree with you.
I never said, but I think if people were Lincoln Foot two or three years, and I'll tell you what he could have been in my opinion, Lincoln's office of jeans.
Yeah, yeah, he definitely is an officer genius stuff.
Some other draft picks up the phone over the Eagles did, and the third from they selected Colorado's outside linebacker gave you on Taylor.
They also drafted a safety from clubs and Koban Wallace, Some offensive guys like offensive tackle and Jack Driscoll.
I believe we talked about him a little bit, but we'll going to discuss more more with them now we look at Recently, the Philadelphia Eagles brought back Jason Peters.
Thought they moved.
Jason Peters toe, Actually guard.
Now that kind of means that Jack Driscoll could get more playing time with the offensive tackle.
What do you guys believe? Do you think that it could be a big impact? The offensive line seen Jack Driscoll play, but or do you think you only time to develop? There's another tackle.
I was really surprised he fell to the sixth round.
That's Prince Tegal.
Wanna go out of Auburn? He he's huge.
I mean, I think he's got tons of potential, and I think the egos have enough veterans where they can group right and now kill.
I have a question for you.
So Brandon Brooks goes down.
You signed Jason Peters and move him to guard.
I mean, my friend is not high on Andre Miller.
Andre Dillard was one of my favorite tackles in the draft class last year.
What do you think this means for Andre Diller? Do you think they give him? Do you think they give him a shot to compete for that starting tackle job? Because I think they're gonna have Prince Tanga come in right away and compete for that Tech.
Is that tackle spots open? No, I think they give Dylan.
You know, that's almost gonna be like a quarterback situation.
And I know Don't.
Diller was last year and his prints taken guys this year.
So I think they're using both evenly.
Probably end of using diluted a little bit more in just so you know, because he has more experience and used the living no more crucial situations.
But, I mean, I could see them both being used.
I think they live a lot more, and I didn't get a season.
Next year does need, so I mean, I don't got a bad season last year.
He does need some work, but I mean, I think he's gonna just flat out, like, lose his job.
And I know you're not saying he's gonna lose his job, but I think I just think you end up getting more points.
I mean, yeah, I definitely I definitely agree with what you said earlier saying, I think it's gonna be interesting to see kind of what happens with that, said.
