there is a long pause.
At one second, I thought I was the only woman had very already.
We are doing the NFC East talk.
I am at master of us said we have ah, at Sam Daring underscore USN and then got at MVS 80 30 to us said we got Ember and Sam and I We all those work Uh huh.
Usn unwrapped sports network.
And today we're gonna be talking about the Dallas Cowboys off season and the Philadelphia Eagles offseason What they did through the drafts, and they're free agency moves, and we're gonna have a very spurring debate.
Question coming up later on later on in this in this stream, eso I'm gonna start off with you, Amber Europe a Cowboys fan yourself.
Uh, what are your thoughts on what the Cowboys didn't during free agency? I know we will lose firing like I knew that would happen because you signed Amari Cooper and you sign Zeke.
We haven't signed that get, but we're gonna probably gonna get into that.
Byron Jones is probably the odd man out in that situation.
We lost Trump's Frederick, our center all pro center.
So you lose Byron Jones, and you just wanted one.
These young guys to step up.
You won't want to eat your guys to really make a difference in their defense.
I thought our secondary played head up and down season last year kind of opened down.
Then you draft digs out of Alabama.
I was big on Dixie did kind of get burned a little bit in the national championship game, but I like digs a lot.
Um, got their corn out of Alabama and Nick Saban just breathes defensive players out at Alabama.
So he has that mentality, a defensive mentality, their toughness that we need at the cornerback position for a young guy.
And we still have Anthony Brown.
We got, we lost Jeff Heath.
He went to the writers, I believe Las Vegas writers so that secondary, still young still still live developing to do that front.
Sending It's pretty strong, though, that front seven Israel strong, in my opinion, with some of the signings we've had.
But losing Byron Jones was huge.
He went to Miami and signed a deal with Miami, and Miami has like two of the top 10 corners in the league right now, Brian before s is an amazing job there in Miami.
I think they're gonna be very good in Miami in the A f C East, But losing Byron Jones.
He was the odd man out in that whole circulation because Dak is still not signed.
So if Jack is inside, you signed Amari Cooper.
You got Ziggy really excited, and I think like Donald Collins signed is well, so the money just ran out.
And so they prioritize those players first.
But I knew we were living Byron Jones, and it's sad to see him go, but he made the best decision for him.
I think it was kind of a given that Byron Jones was gonna leave.
I mean, like you mentioned they I mean to me.
I mean, we're going to get to the deck extension pretty quick here, but like why they waited till now to sign the quarterback? Yeah.
I mean, I think it's partly Dax fault, but to me, I think the card was worse in that situation.
Because I don't get how you consign Jaylin Smith and seek and Amari Cooper when running back start Diamond, Doesn't you signed seek Inamori Cooper before your quarterback and quarterbacks are really hard to come by.
I mean, is Deck Prescott worthy of getting a long term deal? Absolutely.
But is the worthy of being one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL? To me, I don't think he is.
I think he has got to prove that because he's had an unbelievable supporting cast around him and all his CD lab and going back to your point with Byron Jones.
I was a little bit surprised.
Trevon Diggs fell that far, so I would almost consider that it steals a steal of peg of where you got him.
But I think they're going to expect him.
Teoh, come in and make a big difference right away.
Yeah, great, Great.
Great talking points right there.
I want to also come back.
Some other free agency moves that the Cowboys did.
They did sign Gerald McCoy.
They did sign Aldon Smith.
I believe they also signed Don Terry Po out of those three players.
Who do you believe will make the biggest impact on the Dallas Cowboys this season in 2020 Who, uh, well, you know Gerald McCoy? He went to South East High School in up from City.
They were our rifle in Oklahoma City.
He went toe you partial German.
Coy, of course, was great with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ah, he left Tampa Bay.
They want to move in a different direction.
I think he still had something left in the tank.
I like Don Terry.
Po is wearing both of those players to have let something left in that tank eager to see their defensive line rotation, though we have a lot of players on the de lives pretty deep, I like that.
I like a deep D line.
We haven't had that in a while.
It's just thinking about it.
We haven't had that in a while.
I think Jerry McCoy will really flourish in their defense.
I think he he could probably cause some havoc.
We also drafted Naval Gallimore, another Oakland University of Oklahoma guy.
I don't know what it is about Jerry jealousies.
You see Oklahoma guys, but you got to see them play a lot because they played a Big 12 championship at Cowboys Stadium.
So I think McCoy and pumpkin really have a huge impact.
Could you keep those guys fresh? You can rotate those guys in and out.
That's what you want on your defense, Ally, You wanna be able keep those guys fresh? I expect to Marcus Lawrence toe have a a big year this year.
He got paid his money had okay your last year.
But I expect him at a have a big here.
But now he has some help on the D line.
I really think that he can kind of take that next year.
Floors all this Smith.
I just want him to stay out of trouble as long as he stays out of trouble.
He's super talented, man.
You know, when he was, he's on the field.
He's so talented.
That's why the 40 Niners, they want to get rid of him because he was just so talented.
All the things he was doing, he was so talented once.
It kind reminds me of Josh Gordon.
Keep his head on straight.
He's so talented when he's on the field.
So if we could just keep audience Smith out of trouble, pose gonna do his thing, and McCoy is gonna have kind of like little resurrection.
People have given up on me type of season.
I think that defensive line rotation can be very dangerous for Dallas Cowboys.
Yeah, and I go ahead.
Sorry, Sam. I'm first in great people as well.
Amber, I also believe that Gerald McCoy, he's gonna have a bounce back here.
Like so some people over already forgot, like terrible coin when he was in Tampa, he was one of the best, like defensive tackles in the league, like he was a monster.
And I feel like kind of like when you said he's gonna have that chip on the shoulder.
I feel like Gerald McCoy is gonna be, like the best player.
Probably the most improved player like on that Cowboys defense that's gonna make an immediate impact in could be a deciding factor on what? Whether or not you know, they make the playoffs.
Yeah, I really like the Nevil Gallimore pick.
I mean, like you said, that builds on more defensive guy that really wanted in Green Bay are rushed, are run defense was just a joke in Green Bay.
I mean, I think Neville Gallimore is going into a really good situation where he gets to learn all veterans, and I almost think that people are starting to write Gerald McCoy off because of his time in Carolina, his short center. Carolina.
He didn't do anything, I think, he said.
I think he could very well.
I think he still has plenty left in the tank.
He's only he's only in the early thirties.
I would say at least three, maybe five years.
I want I like to see players have back to bounce back seasons like Cam Newton.
I want to see him do well in New England.
I want to see him flourish in New England.
Carolina just kind of pushed him out the door.
Um, players like that.
You just root for like, I'm rooting for Aldon Smith.
I want him to get it together because so talented, he's so young.
He's still young, every young and you just want players like that to just be able to showcase their talents, just kind of block out all the off the field noise and just put your talent on the field and just show people what you're all about.
Yeah, and I have I have two more two more questions.
Toe kind of recap.
The free free agency.
Talk for the Cowboys, one of the other free agents that I forgot to touch upon the Dallas Cavalese.
Clinton Dix, the former safety for the Green Bay Packers and safety for the Washington football team and the Chicago Bears.
Do you believe that Haukland ****s will have a big impact on the defense, especially with Byron Jones leaving to Miami and and other stuff What? We lost teeth.
So they had to get How hot plan ****s.
I'm gonna ask you a question, Sam.
Since you're a Packers fan, how do you feel about how Clinton Dix? Well, I'm looking at a jersey right now that signed from him, E.
I mean, he was one of my favorite Packers, but the thing that sucked is I mean, we only got 1/4 round out of them, which sucks.
But at the same time, he was a guy that he got to his point where he was really good and then he just didn't regress.
He didn't produce anything more.
He stopped getting better.
And to me, I think it speaks a little bit of volume that he's been on.
This is his third team in the span of what, one or two years you got traded to the Redskins.
Play the rest of that season time with Chicago, signed with Chicago.
Didn't even last like, I mean, signing a one year deal, and now he's with Dallas.
To me, I think that speaks volumes that he's been with.
This is 13 men going into Hiss, I think.
2nd 3rd season now, Yeah, I also I also like the fact myself.
I also feel like ha ha Clinton Dix.
All the years you've of Green Bay, I feel like there's one good you that he had was, I believe, 2016 when he made a Pro Bowl that year.
And I really thought Dunkley Index was gonna take another step after that.
Kind of be like those when Green Bay had 21 last November 21 was Charles Woodson, and Charles was.
It was a great play with the Green Bay Packers.
I thought, you know, he hasn't number 21.
If he keeps outgoing, he could maybe be that ex captain of the defense like Charles Woodson was.
But he never really kind of fill into that, you know, he got really never filled in tow.
That void of being like a great defender and kind of like Samson.
We got more than 1/4 round pick from him, but I'm feeling it was something that had to be done.
Especially because that that year, like great Green Bay was not was not good that you're in 2018 like something happened that year.
The wheels fell off.
Rogerson, the coach, Winnick it along to lose, actually.
Know what? The Dallas Cowboys Mike McCarthy.
Which is definitely gonna be something that won't talk about later on.
Yeah, personally, Go ahead.
I want to s you guys how you felt? Because I knew I didn't know you were a Packers fan, man By knew Sam was So I want to get you guys perspective.
One of because you watched him as a young working.
He watched him grow.
When I did watch packers games, I watched him.
I just saw a lot of inconsistencies from from him from their position.
But maybe, like I said, he could have a recent wave like the year of the resurgence.
So we got Andy Dalton.
You know, they kind of gave up on him in Cincinnati.
You got your borrow.
We got draw McCoy.
We got out of Smith.
You know, we got hi, Clinton. Dix.
Let Jason Witten come back, come after Booth and come back.
And now he signed with the Raiders.
So we're like the resurgent.
Seem like you want to research your career.
Jerry Jones is like, Come on, co two, the Cowboys.
If you wanna want to get a resurgence in your career, next thing you know, we'll be signing Josh Gordon.
So you just I mean, you just never know what Jerry Jones.
He should kind like a wild card, But I'm eager to look for toe to see what he brings to the table for this cowboy. Steve.
Yeah, I'm definitely eager to see what he does as well.
11 more question.
Do you believe the Cowboys have the guts to trade for Jamal Adams? No.
We don't know if we can afford it. Like I don't.
That's a heavy price tag.
I think Gemma Adams is heavy.
I don't think we I don't think Jerry Jones has the balls to do that.
He hasn't signed that Prescott, right? I think if you do that, Dex.
You can't afford it.
Like is he's gonna come.
Somebody's gonna have to get him.
That has some money.
I'm not sure I don't know who has money.
I haven't looked at the financials for any NFL, NBA and NFL teams yet, but you're gonna have to have somebody to sign Gemma Adams because he is that premier cornerback.
I mean, that premier safety hybrid come plays in a box a little big.
He just does so much for the Jets.
Very, very well in that situation in in New York, it's just those New York teams are just I don't understand what's going on with those New York todo and the fan base in New York.
It's hard and they're just not No, no, no.
I just shake my head in New York something the only the only good New York team for the New York Yankees.
The the only consistently good New York team is the Yankees.
But other than that, you got us.
So those New Yorkers are very passionate, like like I couldn't stand like if I were like a giant or a Jets fan.
I couldn't stand it.
I would be like, Why? Why? Why am I want this team? But I put my heart and soul into this team, and they put garbage out on the field like What's what's going on there? So I got two things.
One is back to your Mike McCarthy point.
I think Mike McCarthy was good Coach, and I don't like when Packer fans say he was an awful coach.
That's not true at all that he brought us a multiple playoff appearances.
Keep out is a Super Bowl ring, and now you're going to Dallas.
He I think he was just outdated and with us for too long.
We needed a new coach in a new culture, and now you bring in that before he wants to get rid of You saw right away.
He wanted to get rid of all the Mike McCarthy remnants.
Now you come into Dallas, and this is where my bold prediction comes in.
Mike McCarthy, Not this part of it.
I'll get to that, but my I think Mike McCarthy takes the Cowboys back to the playoffs.
He's gonna pass heavy offense.
I mean, look at the Titans like mad and I talked about this a few weeks ago during the Packers segment.
Not the floor knows how to use tight ends.
The Packers have been given multiple tight ends for talent.
Mike McCarthy's given multiple like tons of talent outside on, and, I mean, he doesn't know how to use tight ends the right way and like that's why I was really excited for Jimmy Graham.
But I mean, to me, that's just Jimmy Graham washed off.
And now you go into the pits of the Kabul boys who now have a young Blake Jarman after the departure of again on Jason Witten.
Once again and now you have.
And like I mentioned before about Jack, he has unbelievable, like weapons.
He has a great supporting cast around him.
He has one of, if not the best offensive linemen in the NFL, and I want to say the last year.
Two years ago, that line had a down year, and he still put up career like one of the best numbers of some of the best numbers of his career.
And this is where my bold prediction comes in because of Mike McCarthy's pass heavy offense.
I think Zeke Falls out of the top five running back.
I think that's going to be his stats necessarily.
But I think they're gonna pass the ball much more than they run the ball.
I could see that.
I can see that as well.
You draft city lamb, you got Gallup got Omar Cooper.
This pretty good.
Three good ride receivers, black jar when you just sign him. So three year extension.
They got blackmailed like there was more of a blocking tight end, though.
But, yeah, I could see that.
But you've got a few, Zeke, somehow some way.
So if you have this bold prediction, how many cares you can get per game because he can catch the ball out of the backfield to? So I see that both ways, because Zeke, to me, is the town's enough running back where Mike McCarthy's never had a Z he's never had, like a top five running back ever.
I mean, Brendan are running back in the Super Bowl was Brandon Jackson.
Brendan Jackson was a mediocre at best running back.
He was not, and I mean he produced, but he wasn't he wasn't amazing.
He's never had a top five running backs so I mean, I'm interested to see how much his workload.
I mean, obviously he still the workhorse back, But I'm interested to see how much his workload will effect in the microcar.
They will be affected in the Michael Carthy offense because, like you mentioned, you do have CD line.
You have three study talented receivers that I mean, I've been a pass heavy offense that I mean, it will be interesting to see how much will be effective in six workload.
I think there's a chance by the end of next season, STIs statistic wise, he falls out of the top five.
Absolutely no question.
But I think I can see him falling one or two spots out of the top five.
Okay, I got a question for you.
Do you think that the direction of offense needs to go and show the deck deserves his money? Because if you think about it, people like, Oh, remember when Zeke was out for a long period of time? People are like, Oh, that can't do the play.
Action is all he's playing quarterback because it shows like one stack was hurt.
Then people saw, like just the quarterback that dad really? Waas.
So do you think they will become more past happy because of they want to see the growth of debt? Or kind of, I guess you kind of combine it with the often is that McCarty's gonna bring him kill more, gonna have to come together and kind of figure that out.
Or do you think it would just be just solely based on McCarthy's offense? Because a lot of people don't really think Deck is that guy and people want to see more from debt.
But now you have these three weapons, like what choice didn't have.
See? I see that both ways because one, like I mentioned before, and I will get to the dad Carson Wentz debate.
And I mean, Dax been given an unbelievable supporting cast around him.
And what I don't get is how the Cowboys can only go as far as they've ever gone in the playoffs.
They can't even make it past the division around.
But if I'm picking, I mean, I'll start the debate before Caleb joins.
I think Dad is barely West.
I think Carson wants is more talented.
Not rather have Carson wants to build might seem around, but who would do, I think, is better right now.
I think it's Dak Prescott.
I think Dak Prescott is better.
I think that I mean, you can't to me.
I don't think you can really say Carson, Wentz, Gotham, that Reagan full stop that you get rid of that Eagles bring from Carson wise.
I think Dak Prescott has proven more, but who do I think is under pressure? More wise or deck? I almost think his dak Yeah, of course I'll be I'll be on the opposite.
I did disagree with Sample that I I believe Carson Wentz is better than the Deck and and Grant Granite, even though it was Nick Foles that that led him that led the Eagles to the Super Bowl that year.
I just feel like one Carso Carson Wentz did last year got a kind of persuade Beato choose once because I was kind of it.
I'm like Docker went, so I think, by the one.
But But Carson Wednesday last year, leading the Eagles like they were five and seven, dead in the water, they had nobody healthy.
They basically had practice for guys that receivers and somehow he managed to lead him to 97 into the NFL playoffs.
Granted, the couple's did implode at the end there, But you got you got to give the man credit.
Like when on the one game on I consider is Week 16.
We look at the Cowboys were the better team they have, the better off they have, the better defense.
They had every much everything better under then in Philadelphia.
But what happens? Jack Prescott doesn't even muster a touchdown.
Miller scored nine points at some kind of curse of Wentz, lead some to victory and leads them to the playoffs now, even though they didn't lose to Seattle, which was gonna expect it in the playoffs.
Like he kind of figured that, you know most of Wilson is gonna pull some some tricks up its sleeve and get a victory there.
It was just sad to see once go down the playoffs in that moment, but I just I just think Carson Wentz is just that guy just on what he's able to do with less stuff like, I mean, we are You gonna push? Earlier went act and half seat when he was suspended for six games.
It was like a whole different quarterback, like it was not like his rookie year, where they won 13 games.
When Zeke and Debt, you know, doing the 12 punch now, one thing that I would like to see at kind of a what you said.
You guys about McCarthy, I feel like they're gonna be in past every office.
I mean, let's not forget Dak Prescott threw for about 5000 yards last season, so it's not like they're gonna go back toe.
You know, that run, heavy offense that they did, You know that strip year because we didn't know what he waas.
But I just personally believe they're going to stick with the pass heavy offense.
And this is why I agree with Sam at the point that Jack has more pressure just because he hasn't got his money yet when he's got his money.
So now it's just about play like towards that contract that you deserved.
Personally, Jack has got to be that guy who get before.
Well, hopefully get up before I wish you nothing but the best.
But you know he's got he's got perform When what The money is on the line.
You got to get those big wins against those playoff, I think. Carson Wentz.
I like Carson Wentz.
I do. I like Dak.
Of course, I'm kind of the middle on that argument because crossing Winds really hasn't had much to work with. Honestly.
And fairly, they may.
They got regarding the draft.
I like them. It's TCU, of course, not much.
Big 12 football a lot.
So you get him some weapons and let's see what he does.
He has a stud, tight end and God, Mile Sanders a running back.
They kind of have those pieces that you re sign Jason Peters.
So they have those pieces there.
I want to see what Carson wins does with a full deck of cards.
That makes sense.
I want to see if he can get the Eagles to wear.
There is no comparison between him and deck, and I also want to see the same thing from that.
Now That's have war in his deck, then wins, has wins, has had some injury issues as well, so the pressure is on deck.
I do believe the pressures on debt But I also think there's some pressure on wits because of the fact that people want to see him fully healthy without the knee brace.
Without those eggs and pains.
What, you're gonna have that as a quarterback, anyway? I mean, you're getting hit constantly.
People want to see in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia has a tough fan bases.
Well, they want to see whence at his full strength with that four deck of cards.
Okay, you're completely healthy.
Well, we put these pieces around you.
Okay, What can you do? Even though he already signed his deal, it's kind of like, OK, what can you do? Because that other quarterback in a division is That's your competition, you know? So you looking at Jack is your competition.
Okay? The Cowboys, America's team.
Everybody phrase him as America's team, but we just want a Super Bowl so that pressure's on wits to outperform deck in that sense.
But you have pressure on that because this is his contract here.
He is playing under the franchise tag, and he has a full deck of cards and Jerry Jellison Stephen Jones have done a great job of putting pieces around him for him to be successful.
Yeah, they definitely after shirt mind.
My next question Waas has to do with the offensive line.
Losing Travis Frederick was huge.
I mean, now you draft Tyler beyond a shadow Wisconsin, and this guy was projected to go somewhere in the late second, early third round and he dropped Teoh.
I want to say, somewhere in the fifth round, the fifth or sixth round, he dropped that far, and I'm I'm trying.
I think it had something to with this injury history.
Something happened at the combine or like his numbers that he put out.
Do you think Tyler be honest, Could be that guy to fill in the shoes of Travis Frederick.
That's a big shoe to feel.
That's what you should have feel.
We're gonna have to see with time.
I always give young players time.
I watched him a Wisconsin.
Of course, I watch Big 10 football because Big 10 football comes on on Fox Sports right before Big 12 football.
So I'm waking up and I'm watching dictate football.
Wisconsin was one of those offenses that played typical Big 10 football.
Now, how can he pass blocking a rumba lot That's those two different type of blacking schemes.
We'll have to see that.
Are we gonna plug him in right away? Um, he's gonna be their starting center, you know? Can he re Blitch is, you know, audible the line that sinners at anchor.
You know that senators anchor there live.
So he has a lot.
He has big shoes to feel.
I wonder if Travis Frederick will come back and mentor him on how to play.
That position would be smart.
He could kind of, you know, get with Kelly more.
Okay, this is what killing more likes.
This is what deck waxes the whole is weak.
Likes on his black and scheme.
Um, I want to see if that happens.
I would really like to see more NFL players do that.
You know, you retire because he had health issues, you know, we wish him the best.
You retire, you come back and you mentor the young guy that field your position so that your team could be successful because mentor ship is very important.
NFL, as we saw with bread farming, Aaron Rodgers and another tackle you did draft a few years ago.
Actually, a hometown guy was counter Williams.
And what kind of do you see him Kind of getting an increased role, Or I mean, do you see him kind of fighting for a a role position? Because he hasn't really made as much of an impact as, um, Cowboys fans and coaches would really thought, Yeah, kind of cut.
Williams is a wild card for me.
I watch him play.
I'm like, Man, he could really be good.
Sometimes its feet are a little slow.
Sometimes his hands are in the right position, but then you see games.
You're like, Wow, he's very talented.
So I want to see if he can put that together this year if we're gonna be a pass happy offense to see if he can put together a great year, you know, because that offensive line a lot of GM are now drafting Office of Linemen because I see how important it is.
Las Vegas Raiders.
When they were the Oakland Raiders, they were drafted office supply.
But they had one of the best offensive linemen of offensive lines in the league in the past couple of years.
If the Indianapolis Colts would have drafted offense environment.
Andrew Luck will probably be playing football, so the Office of Line is very important.
But he has to stay consistent because if you're not consistent, there's a guy right behind you willing to take your place.
So I want to see if he can stay consistent throughout the season.
And yet that will definitely be one of the keys to look forward to.
For a doubt Scout was if he is staying consistent, but some other drafts draft picks since we're starting to go until more of the draft, we didn't talk about Stevie Lamb and how big of an impact you'll make for Dallas that pick 17 Also trade bond digs.
There are also some other things that they've been in the third round.
They such defensive tackle the veal.
I believe it's Scout down more.
And the fourth round They drafted a corner.
The second, uh, saving some of those picks.
Do you believe they can make any any impact to this Cowboys team at all in 2020? I think they forgot or being a rotation.
I do think he'll be in a defensive line rotation Robinson, the second plate.
It's also I don't know Oklahoma guys and Jerry Jones.
I just, you know, thank you, very Um, I have to see him play up a bit more.
Have to watch the more film on him to see what kind of impact I think he'll have.
But the secondary is young.
I think it's hard for young players to transition into the NFL at the corner position when you don't have older, veteran and confident or you into that position because the game is a lot faster.
Players are a lot bigger and stronger.
He played in Conference USA there.
It's also, even though we play them pretty much University of Oklahoma Place and pretty much every season and he had to be good.
He had to be good enough to be drafted that high coming out of a non power five conference.
So developing those young guys and be important.
I think we have to do that because Dallas is young.
There, there, young team, kind of look at it, have a good mix of young and young and old, but that defense of that secondary is very young.
That secondary is young, so I want to see how he develops and see will.
There won't be any preseason games this year, so it's kind of like, Ah, like the preseason to me.
I really pay attention to that to see these guys got drafted and play specialty teams.
A lot of guys aren't used to playing special teams in college or used to being the guy and then there, plugging me.
And okay, if you want to make this 53 man roster, you're in a place of special teams and you're gonna learn his position.
But quarterbacks right now are you paid a lot of money, huh? Seems like quarterbacks and running backs.
So if he could develop into that guy, then then he'll be.
He'll be good for us, but I think never Gallimore would have Probably.
The biggest impact is because I defense of flying rotates more than those corners do.
So I think Naval will have a bigger impact, but I'm eager to see what of the young guy the young Robinson got, Bring says.
Yeah, I'm definitely interested as well, especially because he's gonna have to fill in for a guy like Byron Jones, who we discussed earlier, departed to Miami and got got his big payday down there.
Let's let's move on.
To some general predictions for the Dow, Scott was.
What Sam and I have done the last couple of weeks is we do it offensive them BP.
We do a defense of EVP and we, due to our teams most improved player this season and then also team record, so I'll start are also know what The Cowboys fan.
If you were to have to pick an offensive EVP this season, who would it be for the Dallas Cowboys? This is no South cliche, but I must say that because he has to prove his worth the money once it's gonna have to be deck.
If it's not Deck and they're gonna move towards a pass happy offense in.
Um, I think it's gonna have to be that for offensive M V P.
For me? Yeah, I think its deck is alive.
I wanted her percent agree.
I think he's gonna prove his worth.
I think he's gonna prove to the Cowboys that he wants that he's worthy of an extension.
And they had they had the contract out.
They were really close to signing the extension.
It was it was between 33 to 37 million, just over $100 million from 3 to 5 years.
I think it was put the time ran out.
I think you proves his worth I have is my Yeah, I first agreed to you guys as well.
I can tell you it has to be debt because, I mean, we look intact.
Prescott? Yeah, he threw for 5000 yards like sheer weight, which is no slaps.
Like when a quarterback girls for 5000 yards like it's a very impressive feat to do, but he only won eight games.
Like like you throw 5000 yards.
You know, most quarterbacks, you think Oh, it's just like a 10 11 when you get into the playoffs by like, Dak, Prescott is gonna need to have another one of those seasons.
He's gonna need to have another close to 5000 yards, and he has to make the playoffs.
My feeling of Dak Prescott doesn't make the playoffs this year.
You won't get his extension in Dallas.
I feel like he's gonna have maybe a same situation, kind of like Jason Garrett.
What happened with Jason Garrett last year is you looking down.
So I kind of had to make the flowers that make a run or else he's gonna be fired and which, you know, they missed the plans and he got fired, which everyone expected to happen.
I think that's gonna have to be the same thing for Jack Prescott.
I feel like that Prescott is gonna need to have another good season like he had, But he's gonna have to make the playoffs.
Or else they're gonna be like, Hey, you know, we do.
You mean why would we pay you almost $40 billion when you didn't even make the playoffs? Is your a game and win a playoff game? So that's that's you, my own office of EVP, and we all have to save one.
They're moving on to our defense of M V P, who you believe will be the defense of NPP for the Dallas Cowboys.
I think he gets back, You know where he was.
Like a year to go before he signed his big deal.
DeMarcus Lawrence, I think deal.
I will be our defensive MPP.
I'm predicting double digit sacks this season, so I think he'll be our defensive MVP.
Vander Rush went on When he went down, You could see like when he's healthy, you could see the chemistry, that defense.
I mean, for rookie to ah, young guy.
I mean, when he's her, you could you could you could see how big, like how much of an impact that made.
And if he stays fully healthy, I think that defense could be very slept on one. It's something wash.
And I think, lighten vendor.
It's just gonna be a huge part of that.
I first degree as well.
I believe that it's gonna be Flight Blake and Vander ish, you know? I mean, I feel like he's gonna fill in for a perfect point in before you got hurt last year.
He was a very good linebacker.
He kind of essentially, you know, set.
Ah, Lower street kind of linebacker.
Uh, we have, ah, care of conning us end question Coast.
We're going at him, and he is the the Eagles side of things.
So we're gonna give him in and as well, we're gonna wait on that.
We're sorry about that.
So I were What? While we're waiting on that start anyways.
Back to my discussion.
What's going on? Caleb? What's going on? The o t o I said, that's yourself to the people.
Yeah, I'll be doing good as well.
Okay, so So? All right. All right.
So we were discussing some Dallas Cowboy predictions.
If you were to have to predict an offense of EVP for the Dallas Cowboys, who would it be? And why you say our offensive MVV Yes, that's a good question this year.
You know where I'm going? Ezekiel Elliott.
I'm a goat. Ezekiel Elliott.
You seem pretty frustrated on Twitter way.
We know he has a lot to prove, and I think, you know, they're gonna have a balanced offense to have a lot of receivers, so they're gonna be able to throw the ball.
But I think it was a really it's gonna run up his touchdowns this year.
And I think he's in and didn't wanna have a great year.
I think I guess he Ezekiel Elliott benefiting the most artist guys on offense out there.
And, uh, we're also just discussing our defense of than the P ember has DeMarcus Lawrence as her defensive EVP.
Sam and I both have late and Vanda Resh as our defensive Evie piece.
Now Taylor for you.
If you were having defensive MPP, who would it be for the Dow? Scott was in 2020.
I got DeMarcus Lawrence, bro.
I'm not too invested in their defense, but I got DeMarcus Lawrence because he's just a beast off the edge.
He's gonna be a pressure on the quarterback every time.
I don't disagree with you guys a decision.
I think that guy's a great defensive Firas.
Well, I just named the Markets.
Florence is a big impact on that defense because without without him, you know they have.
Nobody gets the quarterbacks.
So I mean, I think he plays an important part in defense.
I will go to market.
Definitely great choices are the bank question asked for you.
Caleb, Who is the better quarterback? Dak Prescott for Carson Wentz.
Uh, have you guys asked this question wave already? Input.
It was already inputted are decisions.
Amber's got Dak Sam, Who did you have? I attacked and I had went way got to Dak Prescott, said one, Carson Wentz.
And I want to say when says I'm gonna be biased.
I'm an Eagles fan.
I want to say, Let's but let's take it out You know, he's proved a lot, but he has a mortar proof.
So right now, I'll probably go dash right now as he's more healthy.
I'm a be honest is because we're hoping, but I think it went.
Has more couple more healthy years.
Good years, I think.
But I think it was has more challenge.
Yeah, I for sure I thought you were gonna side with once the little off been out here, But you guys didn't we have a point like it cooked Carson Wentz said He has been help.
You know, said since the second year, but you gotta You came to mind when he's healthy.
He wasn't basically an M V P player his second year before you got her.
Let's all be honest here.
The reason why they gave Brady that NTP was because he was helping like Cardiff Garcia wants is healthy.
That year, he wins at the T and you still leave the Eagles to the Super Bowl that year here that he does you guys still give him that credit for the Super Bowl? Your Eagles running here? Here is the one thing that I give him credit for.
I give him credit for setting up Nick Foles to succeed like Lychee.
Set him up to basically, what was it like a 12. And to record.
He basically set him up to 12 into like that is not easy.
Going 12 and two and 14 start.
So that's the only credit I give him there.
Obviously, playoffs is different. Animal.
I don't give him any credit in the playoffs because you don't play like if you don't play in the playoffs.
You don't get any credit.
But the one thing I do getting credit on this basically, because you basically clinched the Eagles number one seed like even if ones went down, they were the number one see.
So I give him credit for setting up that number one seed.
I want to see what you guys give Carson credit for it.
Wow, I like I like Carson wins.
Like I said before, I like Carson wins.
It's just that Nick Foles you had that Falls magic man and it was working but that set up was nice.
The defense actually was the defense.
You know, on Twitter, people were putting a bark toast next to the Eagles secondary in a while.
So you know, the defense got it together.
I think it was just there year, man.
It was just their year.
Could Carson ones have won a Super Bowl? We will never know that.
That's probably one of the biggest.
What ifs, I think in Philly.
History is what if Carson Wentz got that M v P? Could he have won the Super Bowl? We don't know, but I think Nick Foles it was just his time.
It was his time to kind of show he'd been a journeyman throughout his whole career, and it was just kind of his time.
And Philly fans were very grateful that they had Nick Foles and he ended up getting a big contract.
After that, I think way, way he police hell.
They paid a TV guaranteed.
What does he do? Play one game, his collarbone, and then they cut in the next year and then the mustache comes to fruition.
So no, it just kind of it's one of those things where that's what it.
But I think Carson Wednesday sent him up.
Like you said, Matt, he did set him up for success.
That defense played very well that year.
Like I talked about Carson Wentz having all those pieces, all those all those cars in the debt that's trying to see if he could do that again this year.
See what kind of run equals Go on.
The sheriff beat them in the Cowboys, for sure, because the Giants, I just don't trust the Giants in Washington.
I just don't know about Washington, so I think it between the use of the Cowboys will be dad versus wins for a long time.
You know that division is young when it comes to quarterbacks.
Yeah, it and gently will be.
That will be the main thing that top about the last thing that will discuss for the Dallas Cowboys.
Let's give our season oh, outside before we get through a season predictions.
Who do you guys believe will be the most improved player of the Dallas Cowboys? Say, I'm playing already down here, but last season bubble improved. This season.
The thought process here by I'll go.
I'll go the whole roster.
All right, I'll go.
Although of mine while you guys air.
I honestly believe it's going to be a Zico.
Elliott, I feel like Zika is gonna be the most approved plan of Dallas Cowboys.
The reason why is you don't pay a guy $90 million.
You're still had two years left on his contract.
Just, uh, just I have ah doubt down year on this because he had a down year.
He wasn't, You know, the same Ezekiel Elliott that we saw who was kind of that power guy brought running down your throats ton air.
And I think that's what you think it was gonna do.
I feel like, you know, and I also believe it would be like the same with all the contract place.
Like when people get paid their contracts like the first years.
Sometimes they did like they dip the first year, cause it's like a new system new offense.
Last second year, they just skyrocket.
I felt that's what's gonna happen with the Zika Elliot.
Like I feel like the last year they wanted to go a little more past past heavy with that.
That's why he had over five years passing.
I feel like Zika Elliott is gonna be e I think you think what else could be hungry, especially because now he's gonna have, like, the offseason workouts and stuff, whatever he decides to do.
And I personally believe that if Dax struggles this season, I wouldn't be surprised They like a Zeke, Go on the ball, go be like 2016 seek and carry us to the Promised Land carousel playoffs.
That's why I got Sigonella as a most improved player for Dallas.
I don't put your own McCoy.
I think Gerald McCoy makes a pretty big impact.
I think he makes a quick name for himself.
I mean, look at let me number.
You just mentioned with the defense with the D line.
I mean, that run defense is gonna be scary.
You have Centauri po.
You have Gerald McCoy.
And then you have Nevil Gallimore, who's going to be mentored by Gerald McCoy, who was one of the best defensive lineman early in his career.
And then you have the markets, Lawrence, someone as the second edge rusher.
The edge rusher on the other side is got some big shoes to fill.
Its going to be interesting.
I think that one's kind of up for debate, kind of up for a competition.
They didn't trade away Taco Charlton.
And now, um, I don't remember who said it was a guy in the Dolphins that said he wants to.
He wants to make Taco Charlton one of the best edge rushers in the league.
That's how much potentially seasoning.
But I've got journal.
I'm not the wild card in here, and it's gonna sound weird is going to sound very odd.
But I'm gonna throw it out there because we are going to be so past happy Blake job when just signed a three year extension.
So I really, honestly think that Black Dragon Darwin cap a break out season.
I think his numbers can improve from last season.
You sign a tight end.
I know McCarthy and his tight ends, but killing more.
We'll see if they can work together and figure that out.
But you don't sign a guy so it through your extension, and I use him, so I'm gonna go with a wild card.
I'll say Blake job will have better numbers this year than he had last year.
Just because Dad is gonna being it's gonna be passed happy.
Zeke, I also agree with Zika as well, because you're gonna have to try to find that balance with him and him And AC.
I love John McCoy.
Of course he's gonna Mitt or a young Naval Gallimore.
He's already actually mentor him cause they both went to the University of Oklahoma, so have a little inside scoop on it.
So I agree with you there, too, as well, Sam.
So I'm gonna say Blake jar win, even though he was Oklahoma State guy.
Don't hold that against him.
He will have a better season than he had last season.
And I'm looking for him to produce more at that tight end position cause we've been missing there for a while.
So you know who had Jason Witten but start to slow down a little bit later in his career? I want to see a black jar when can catch.
At least let's say 50 passes this season.
I say seven or eight touchdowns I want to see is black.
Darwin could be that big tightening up in the red zone that we need because we don't have tall receivers.
So that a bottle black dropping in there in the red zone him and blackmail, blackmail would work Great raids on as well.
That's cool. That's cool.
I'm gonna go with somebody in a lot.
Now, I know the line wasn't the best.
Last year it was still solid, but I know it wasn't the best.
On the left side, they have tyrann Smith.
So they kinda locked that down outside with him being the guard that he earned the title that he is.
But with Royal Collins, I know that he's a young guard.
He had some time to grow.
So I think this year you'll be taken, uh, step in their step forward.
And, you know, that will allow the running game to go both ways.
Left, right forward, beneficial for Ezekiel Elliott.
And you know, Dak Prescott will the definitely, definitely good good options over a wide variety we got, we got great players.
We got some good wild cards.
Now back to my I think I was saying earlier.
What do you guys have at the Dallas Cowboys season? Predictions to close it out for the Dallas gavels.
I've said before.
They're you know, they could be a 13 and three team or six in 10 7 and 19 but rounded off.
I think they can that end up, uh, 10 and six.
I'm giving my started 10 years.
I mean, there are offenses just Oh, de Oh, Big put it together.
I got him going 10 6 I think they could do some solid this year.
Not too much solid year.
And the right you guys got 10 and six as well.
I got 10 and six as well.
Yeah, yeah, Anything below 10 wins, I think will be disappointing, I think if.
But I also think that the Eagles have the potential so also probably beat.
Maybe maybe 10 and six.
I think it's gonna come down the last couple of games of the year like it always does with those who goes to teams.
And I think for us and went to the vision, we're gonna have to win 11 games because I think Carson wins has his fire his eye like Okay, I've been injured.
I haven't been the best quarterback vest ability, ability is availability, and I have been available for my team.
He's had a lot of chatter.
He's hearing a lot of chatter.
So I think Carson wins is going to go out there and try his best to outdo deck.
I told you guys that they're gonna be balanced for years to come, So I think what those teams is gonna have to win 11 games.
Because that would the NFC East usually doesn't get to teams in the playoffs.
Usually does not.
So sometimes do something you do have the extended playoff to, and I think that's huge for something. Divisions.
Yeah, because I think one of those teams might have to win 11 games.
Maybe, but I had to make 76 anything below 10 wins, and I will be very disappointed.
Well, you're gonna be very disappointed with by Winter.
I going not in seven supporting with 97 though I want to get to my off would get you in the playoffs that they not a but here 1970 are going to get in the playoffs or takes with one extended.
I don't have a you.
I have the Dallas Cowboys going nine and seven and just barely missing the playoffs.
Always there, there.
So there is something over the Dallas Cowboys.
Stephen A Smith here.
Well, can't go wrong for the Cowboys will go wrong voice.
I just think so.
Some sound's gonna happen like that.
There's gonna be a situation where somebody has gotta rise to the occasion and they just fall off lap.
Now don't get me wrong.
Like nine and seven is good for some teams.
Like the team goes nine and seven like it's good, But when you're in the Dallas Cowboys and you got attacked Prescott this contract year, he can't go 9 to 7.
I think he's gonna go 97.
Oakley person Wrong because, you know, if he proves me wrong, you know, I give him credit where credit is due and just say I was drunk.
I doubted the Dallas Cowboys spot.
You know, we'll see.
We'll see what happens there.
So we got 3 10 and sixes and one dinos.
Now let's move on to our final team of discussion.
It will be Kayla's favourite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
As the chant goes E A G L E s Eagles.
What's happening We got the Philadelphia Eagles last season.
They went buying in seven and Canadian clowning decided to shove Carson Wentz his head into the ground of the playoffs and and their playoff hopes their their off season was very interesting.
Now I start off with you.
What are your thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles trading for Detroit Lions Corner? Darius Slay? I mean, I think it would go move on the defense.
We didn't have no facts.
I think we have receivers. **** everything.
I mean way we needed it.
So it wasn't about trading Rise, I think was pretty solid. Change.
Yeah. Your corner.
The Eagles corners suffered drastically for the passengers.
They needed that there, that I think that was a huge pickup.
But that might be one of their biggest moves.
I'm in the off season. That's huge.
Yeah, especially that we have.
Ah, this is the last name.
But your ****s way to use him while we can get odor? He's not gonna be definitely needed to be so calif.
I have a question for you.
Do you think that Carson was has enough around him for that team to make the playoffs this year.
If we play their ways, you know, a guy comes down with the coaching, you know, we're not playing right away.
We're not. We're turning over the ball a lot.
Then we're gonna lose.
What if they get, you know, controlled oclock not turn over the ball.
We have explosive fast receivers, so I can hit at any time.
We could turn that light switch on it.
Any time We got some started running backs, you gotta Tarver's here and I'll Shaun Geoffrey de free to work in a red zone.
So I think we've controlled the game controller flat.
Further weight. We could grab feelings.
I think he is at 6 11 and five.
No hiding 11 your five.
But if we are ****, that's great season.
Yeah, definitely, that I would give my take on a Darius like I feel like various light is a being addition for the Philadelphia Eagles.
I think that's been a corner that they've been missing for a long time, and that's why I have I'm not getting a good amount of wins.
I'll explain my season predictions later on in the video.
But that's Farsi.
One of reasons why I believe that they could do some big things this year.
Let's let's kind of movinto some of their draft.
The Philadelphia Eagles had an interesting, good but yet interesting OK draft with the 21st pick instead of drafting Justin Jefferson, the receiver from Ellis, you just want a NASCAR championship.
They decided to go with TCU receiver Jalen Reagor.
What? What are kind of your thoughts on that? Were you guys surprised that they decided to go with Reagor instead of Jefferson? I'm interested in hearing you guys personally.
Personally, I was I was kind of surprised.
I'm a big Ellis you guy.
One of the one of the reasons because my sister goes to l s U.
So you know, that's ah, great gateway in.
And I saw just Jefferson becoming great receiver.
I honestly wish thank you would fault in Green Bay, but no one the cheese I didn't receivers.
I wouldn't have happened.
Even when green been traded up, he was already taken.
But I just kind of feel like Philadelphia.
God kind of lift.
I mean, don't get me wrong they drafted a receiver, which what they needed, and with Jane Reagor.
But I feel like it's one of those where you could have had a guy who has the potential to be a number one and Justin Jefferson.
But instead you go with, uh, like Jalen Raider.
I mean, Media's infractions, fever.
Of course, everybody would expected them to go with a deaf Justin Jefferson.
But, I mean, I like Gregor.
I think he's five, you know, I just shows the direct.
It seemed the classics person team got somebody more like Tyreek Hill.
Unless Del ish So his production won't show because TCU doesn't throw the body much.
They're probably one of the only teams in the Big 12.
It doesn't toss it around a lot.
They're built on.
He fits and running a football. It's easy.
You So when you look at his receptions, you're like, OK, but then you look at Mel Kiper Jr and talk to me.
Shame and they break down film on him and understand why he is a potential second round pick, even though the Eagles took him very early.
But I thought he was going to stick around um, you kind of look at that and you kind of matches his film with his production and you try to see what everybody else see.
See what the scouts see.
I've seen a lot of of Rieger there in the Big 12.
I think he's very He could be very productive in the offense for Philadelphia, but just in Jefferson, A lot of those picks surprised me.
The receivers picks were out of went when? When Vegas said the receiver that day took, I think everybody was like, what? I knew they were going to go into a bigger I, too, because that was a total Mike Mayock.
Move this Well, yeah, I like my mayor, but sometimes, but I was also a Tyreek Hill movies.
Well, yeah, he's dead and Derek cars back.
Be healthy enough for him that thought about it and feel that far.
We'll we'll, we'll see if that happens.
But it's It's kind of like what else? Things where you need to see him and on offense is gonna pass the ball because you didn't see that a lot of teaching you.
I think he probably had about 45 receptions with so last year.
So if you saw him in the offense, say it either Oklahoma State or University of Oklahoma, where they pass the ball a lot, that he probably would have had that production of 70 80 receptions where just in Jefferson that often said, l sutures took off and just showed up by people like, Where is this from? You know, you got that offensive, my for New Orleans Saints and you put him there with Joe Borough, the guy that people forgot about.
He went to Ohio, stage played behind those quarterbacks.
Ohio State and Justin Jefferson just took off and they would just tossing the ball it where it looked like the Big 12.
And I loved it and they talked the ball over the O use defense.
But we're not going to talk about that.
This still hurts, but I was shocked the receiver picks.
I was shocked at a lot of the receivers picks. I was.
It started with the making with Vegas, and I was like, Whoa! And in the city Lamb failed that far.
But Jerry Jones is like, Are you serious? It didn't take him long to pick because he knew he was gonna go it.
So I want to see what kind of production rigor gives the Eagles offense.
I am very eager to see that.
Yeah, I want percent agree.
CJ and rigor Jill England.
Like you mentioned, he was See this like second round pick a day, early day to pick.
And then you see his combine time, even Henry rugs to He's got as they're almost like the John Ross is of the draft.
People reach for them.
I mean, Henry Rugs was its hold on Mike Mayock movement.
I think it's gonna work.
David Arnett was even a shocking pick, and I still I still think he's gonna work out the only every pick that my Mike Mayock is a draft genius and going back to the raid, Earthy eagles, the knock, the one knock that I always give on Big 12 is they don't play like the defense is that they play a big toll, is not known for having good defense is they're not known for playing an elite defense jail, and Reger was a really shocking pick to me, and I think he has a lot to prove.
Teoh prove that he's worthy of being that wide receiver to next to Sean Jackson.
It was only start getting busy like I.
What was that? I think my receiver three b wow did.
Sean is two and Dachau deputies.
And then the guy.
Yeah, for sure, and and I'd honestly say, the second biggest surprise and it'll 20 NFL draft with the second round pick the Philadelphia Eagles selected Oklahoma's quarterback, Jalen Hurts now came up.
How surprised were you that the Philadelphia Eagles strapped ID Jalen hurts instead of maybe taking care of other needs? I was pretty surprised, but I must say, I wasn't I wasn't mad at really was, you know, like really mentioned earlier when ties have been hurt the I mean, uh, healthy.
And I would hate for once so, you know, get injured again and we go the horrible quarterback.
So I feel like they used them for by go purposes.
I think he could be a very good back up and develop into a starter if went to gets her, use him train wherever they use them.
But, I mean, I wasn't mad at it.
We needed a backup quarterback, so I have a friend.
That's an Eagles fan as well.
And we're on the phone right after the day one.
He was livid, and after Day two he was.
He was even more have it Jalen Rieger than Jalen hurts.
I can't believe this.
And see, I think it was stupid where you picked him.
But like you said, I think it makes sense.
And what my friend said is he isn't like the idea of the Eagles kind of developing two quarterbacks at the same time, assuming once is going to go down.
And they were saying On first take that.
I think Kellermann said this.
If once goes down, Hurts is their next franchise quarterback.
Like okay, if he develops into like light, if he if winches out like eight games and you give her, it's like eight games and he does good those next eight games and wins those next eight games, Do you think that he's not gonna have opportunity in the next year? Proven So what do you do? Like I like your point that you made better with trade bait because what do you do with a guy that you bench that you paid Ah 100 plus $1,000,000.
You can't let you can't pay a guy 100 plus $1,000,000 to send in the batch, so I think it makes more sense to pay him or not paying.
I think it makes more sense to trade to use.
Jalen hurts his trade bait and I'm not.
Hi, I'm Jalen Hurts.
I think Jalen Hurts is gonna be a backup quarterback.
I don't think he's a guy.
I don't think his game translates into the NFL.
I don't think he's a guy that's gonna lead you.
He's got nothing. He's gonna win the games.
But I mean, I think it would be interesting if Carson wants is healthy.
We've seen the talent of Jalen Hurts.
Will they use him? And I mean in some sort of scheme, some sort of scenario.
If Carson Wentz is fully healthy, Yeah, The one thing I didn't hear that the Eagles we're gonna try and do is try to use Jalen her.
It's kind of like a taste of hill, top of situation.
I didn't get that.
I I honestly don't don't know why they try to your life so like that, I personally don't think it makes sense.
I feel like tasting hip Taysom Hill.
It's kind of like a once in a once in a generation type of guy, just a guy who could do it all like we've never seen a guy that complaint quarterback could also do.
Running back could also be a tight end.
Could also be a receiver.
Could also be a kickoff return guy.
Like we we haven't seen really a guy that can that could be like that.
And another thing I'd say about Jamon hurts is can keep throw the ball like he did at Oklahoma, cause cause on this Beyonce When he was with Alabama, he was basically known as as a as a warmer running type of quarterback, like a God who could just do read option controlling okay, but wasn't really threatened to throw the ball.
But when he transferred to Oklahoma, that's when he started to kind of develop.
You know that pass it gave that.
Don't we now see and why he got drafted second round.
So it will be interesting to see what happens with Jalen Hurts and how the Philadelphia Eagles are going to use them.
Oakley, and for that back of TV role cause because, I mean, we stayed in before and well stated again.
Carson Wentz. He's Ben.
He's at issue of entering pros like he's been very, very injured, a lot so *****ing to see what happens.
And essentially when will see Egypt her explain.
I think Jalen hurts.
I'm gonna say one thing about Jalen hurts.
They bet I use him as that Tim Tebow type of guy like that would have destroyed my heart because Lincoln Rally put in a lot of work with him.
University of Oklahoma, to be able to throw and being in the office is very complicated.
And people don't understand how complicated that office is.
Course you guys know have some inside scoop, but obviously, adversely, Oklahoma is not simple at all.
So you plug in a guy that came in from Alabama systems Think Steve Sarkisian was his office coordinator.
If I'm thinking correctly come in from Alabama, system is completely different.
The SEC is completely different.
And if you cannot score at least 40 points in the Big 12 that you're not gonna win a football game, where is the SEC? They play a lot of different more open.
Now they're opening up.
Their offense is more.
But do not put him in a Taysom Hill road.
I will be very disappointed.
I thought that Pittsburgh was gonna take him.
Honestly, it made sense for Pittsburgh to take him to kind of learn from being for a couple of years and then Mike Tomlin kind of push him into their role.
But do not put him in the situation.
That would really tick me off.
I got a little emotional there, but I don't put him in that same situation here.
I hope that they just let him develop and quarterback and kind of kind of see what happens.
Maybe that this could be pulled.
But maybe they let Carcelle the winds slammed his contract.
If they don't like what they see out of Wednesday, they if he doesn't get to the promised land baby there like a west we put your big buddy to So promise Women.
Yeah, do nothing.
We got a guy in Jalen hurts you that we've developed 3 to 4 years.
We're gonna pull him in instead of you get out of town.
No, it will be interesting to see if that happens, but you know that that's three or four years down the road that we show hurts, needs a lot.
Lot of grooming.
I mean, if you look at these quarterbacks all the early ones up Intel, Jalen hurts.
He 100% easily needs the most proving if you go wash his tape.
I mean, what what I respected about him is Ah, lot of times you see quarterbacks.
When they get benched, they immediately go into the transfer portal.
And I think the fact that Jalen Hurts played out that season behind you and then transferred, I think that showed a lot of maturity on his level.
But if you want some of his tape in the Big 12 I mean, like you mentioned ever, you don't score like 30 40 points in the Big 12.
A team that's not known for having defense is if you go watch some of his early tape.
He's a guy that I mean, when he's under deep pressure, he'll just lost the ball in the air.
I mean, like that, that that to me and like, then you go into the NFL and I mean the NFC and a lot.
You want the lot tougher in the off season.
I mean, now and then you're going now you're gonna have Dallas twice a year, and now you're gonna have a often coming Redskins defense twice a year.
And there's more.
I mean, that, to me, is huge.
I think Jalen Hurts needs, ah, lot of grooming to be considered a guy that can take over a franchise.
Angry? Yeah, you stripes, like Lincoln has put some of the tools in him, But I agree with you.
But I think if he was Lincoln Foot two or three years, no telling what he could have been, in my opinion.
Lincoln's Office of Jeans.
Yeah, he definitely is an officer genius.
Some other draft picks up the phone over the Eagles did, and the third from they selected Colorado's outside linebacker, Davion Taylor.
They also drafted a safety from clubs and Koban Wallace.
Some offensive guys like offensive tackle Jack Driscoll.
I believe we talked about him a little bit, but we'll going to discuss more more with him.
Now we look at Recently, the Philadelphia Eagles brought back Jason Peters, but they moved Jason Peters toe actually guard now.
That kinda means the Jack Driscoll could get more playing time with the offensive tackle.
What do you guys believe? Do you think that it could be a big impact? The offensive line seem Jack Driscoll play, but Or do you think you only time to develop? There's another tackle.
I was really surprised he fell to the sixth round.
That's Prince Tegal.
Wanna go out of Auburn? He he's huge.
I mean, I think he's got tons of potential, and I think the egos have enough veterans where they can group right and up kill.
I have a question for you.
So Brandon Brooks goes down.
You signed Jason Peters and move him to guard.
I mean, my friend is not high on Andre Dillard.
Andre Dillard was one of my favorite tackles in that draft class last year.
What do you think this means for Andre Dollar? Do you think they give him? Do you think they give him a shot to compete for that starting tackle job? Because I think they're gonna have Prince take a come in right away and compete for that Tech is that tackle spots open? No, I think they give Dylan.
You know, that's almost gonna be like a quarterback situation or I know do.
Diller was last year and this Prince hotel you guys this year.
So I think the use of both evenly probably end up using diluted a little bit more.
And just so you know, because he has more experience and used village and no more crucial situations.
But, I mean, I could see them both being used.
I think they live a lot more.
I haven't yet at season.
Next year does need.
So I mean, I don't think I have asked.
Is it last year? It does need some work, but, I mean, I think he's gonna just flat out, like, lose his job.
And I know you're not saying he's gonna lose his job, but I think I just think you end up getting more playing time, then expect.
Yeah, I definitely I definitely agree with what you said earlier said.
I think it's gonna be interesting to see kind of what happens with that situation, and, you know, it could be, yeah, it could be.
Make a break for him.
Maybe like a job could be on the line and maybe a could up up his game to another level.
That so it looks like Sam Sam on, connected, disconnected out earlier.
We'll see if we could get get him back eventually.
Anyways, we're gonna be moving on toe some Philadelphia Eagle predictions for the Dallas Cowboys.
We did the offensive MPP Do you friends, then? BP.
They're most improved player and their season predictions.
Now let's go with the Philadelphia Eagles.
What do you guys believe are gonna be that their their offense? It that BP.
So hopefully your connection guy Texas stuff where we're gonna Yeah, it is all good.
We're just now actually got into a discussion of the Philadelphia Eagles offensive MPP.
Who do you guys believe it will be? Uh, I have mine.
I'll say, uh, I say, I'll give you guys mouth Sanders.
I want to see how he progresses this year.
A lot of people are high on him.
And then there's some people that don't really care for him, But I like him.
I want Teoh e want to see him by the office of line.
So I thought a lot of our cars, I know I would make a lot of bold predictions, but I want to see if he can live up to the hype that some of these Eagles fans really, really, really.
I have some Eagles fans really like him.
Have a good, good friend as Eagles fan lives endeavor.
He absolutely loves him.
So I'll give. It's all.
We'll see how it goes.
I only got I really think Milo Sanders is admit this May packed Nothing too special.
But, I mean, I think our players are officer Player of the Year is going to be Quince.
I think he's gonna have a bounce back in this year, you know? Yes, the most important got our offense, But I am where we're not nothing to happen. It's over.
You need, though.
So it is gonna be the guy and he's gonna But I think it didn't say how to follow up this year.
He has receivers, has a mid running back, was a solid, you know, my was Sanders.
So we need a better running back to me.
Somebody like labour Gambill, Riel running back, but not send this.
So whence is gonna be the guy.
I've got Miles Sanders.
I mean, I think he's gonna live up to the hype.
I don't know what high thing people say.
Is that like him? Like I do.
They just come from California.
So I mean, we got too many egos fans down here Anyway, the nation does explain.
I think my standards lived up to the hype.
I mean, look at the death of the at the running back position of the eagles.
Have hat, I think Miles Sanders, he's gonna look, I you know, I have no idea exactly.
This is gonna be your course back.
Your most valuable play.
You don't have any better.
It is going to be a workhorse back.
Really? What they deem is thinking like like Raheem Moes are.
We need to go get him right now.
That so fast? I played with them on madness. So fine.
So you're getting a Packer fans flashbacks So ever Sandberg Mostert again? We don't really Oh, you and you come back with backers.
I think a Rogers would would use him and really taken to the next level.
Take, take, take you next over. Great.
Most Yeah, with that screen pass.
Way got Aaron Jones work were done.
Just get a £100 guy.
But he's not gonna be tearing it up one's past.
He turned up with pre press against Kansas City Chiefs.
He want us that gave a week eight.
You see that? Sc****d past? Yeah.
Hey, just water around.
Okay? Anyways, let me give by my offensive ftp my offensive M v p.
It was a tough choice between went, It's in mild Sanders.
But I gotta go with Carson Wentz.
The reason why I'm going with Carson Wentz is just because, uh, you know, some of what Sam said earlier He just has toe just to be the guy, you know, you got you got Jalen hurts behind event.
You know, some people are saying that once is gonna get hurt again.
And, you know, this could be a situation where you know if if Carson once gets hurt again and Jalen Hurts plays great.
Kind of like when you do with Oklahoma, we could see a possible like headlines up.
Hey, should the eagles trade Carson Wentz, free up some cap base and just build from Jalen Hurts, Maybe fill in a running back void or whatever holes they need.
So I feel like Carson wins is gonna need to have a a great season.
I believe he's gonna have a good season.
That's why I have I have soda eagles doing good this year.
He and my defensive MPP is one of the reasons why I, with the Philadelphia Eagles, are gonna do great this year.
Now, partly, isn't it? Don't start thinking.
Do you not even think about my Zacher? It's on the offensive side bar you.
I definitely think of soccer.
I just think like I before my standard I high tide and God.
I was solid tightening the Eagles, the Eagles.
But you have to use all the time.
It's like I have endows.
Let's not forget like the Eagles naps.
Dallas got it from Dallas like, wasn't it? Like one of the stars like 2018 and went eagles.
That cowboys? And then the Eagles didn't even need a tight, and they just decided, Why not? Well, take Dallas Ghader, who was projected to be waiting replacement because that was just a year what went retired right? Wasn't that without this honourably? So it will be interesting to see how they work those two titans together.
Obviously, we know what hurts is capable of and open.
Welcome to see what Dallas Qatar could be as well.
Now moving onto the defensive.
I'll get mine. Defensive NDP.
I kind of gave a little key about it earlier.
I feel like my defensive NBG for the Philadelphia Eagles is gonna be Dairy sway.
I mean, look, the Philadelphia Eagles dough.
Don't train for Darius Slay unless he's gonna make an immediate impact on that defense.
I believe variously there's like one of the best corners in in the NFL of my being.
I mean, it's very hard to name, like some guys that are better than their slate.
Maybe like Jalen Ramsey.
Maybe like so, some other players.
But, uh, variously, it's gotta be like in that conversation for best corners in the NFL, and I think he's gonna make the immediate impact on the Eagles.
I thought you'll improved their defense to new heights, and that's why I got him as as defensive player of the year for the Philadelphia Eagles.
What about you guys? I have to agree with you on dairy is way.
I would to be honest with everything you said.
I like I like Darius Slay.
He's coming from the NFC North, But you got the Packers alliance, of course, the Bears in the division.
So you're coming from that division, You come into the NFC East.
It's a little difference in division.
The quarterbacks are younger in the NFC in a yet NFC East, and they are in the NFC North.
I like variously a lot, so he will have shut down one side of the field.
You see what the Patriots were able to do on defense when Gallup when a Stefan, um, you're more was able to shut down one side of the field when you can shut down one side of the field.
That makes a huge difference, because Philly Secondary has been looking like burnt toast.
So they had to go out and go hit somebody, and they made a huge move in getting Darius.
Let it kind of made up for the draft.
That kind of had.
A lot of people weren't happy with their draft like, I don't know how you felt about their draft Kayla, but some Eagles fans were lying about the draft.
You had their use later.
Okay, Well, it kind of makes things look better now that you have Darius slay their, um, he's a big time corner.
I think he will do big time things there.
In Philly, you shut down one side of the field. That's very important.
Yeah, I've also got dairies.
Slavery mean everything.
You mentioned the Eagles cornerback position.
There's secondary struggled and their cornerbacks.
I mean, it's shown in the cornerback position.
I think Darius Slay steps up new change of scenery.
I think will help him this.
Well, I mean, playing, playing it four field indoor to going from I mean, I don't want to mention Amber tale of the fan base in Philly.
I mean, compared to Detroit and Philly like that's a huge That's a huge difference.
I mean, I think very slowly steps up big time, and I think it's gonna show big time that they needed a corner like him.
That definitely facts right there.
We all agree on the defensive NDP and various late.
Now let's give our award for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Who do you guys believe could be the Philadelphia Eagles most improved plate.
He's gonna be the guy I really dio.
I mean, he had a great season, but the way people are putting him as our team MVP, if that's the hype in the potential he has around him that I don't see, Um and if it happens this year, dour would be the most improved player.
My So I'm gonna go ahead and stick it out with my Sanders.
I hope he could become the most improved player and elevate his game up to a team M v p status.
Because if he does, you know, I mean, as Jeffrey Carson Wentz and the offense.
So I'm ago Sanders on.
I'll go your number one receiver.
I go Alshon Jeffery.
So sure I'll go out, Sean Jeffrey, because I think a lot of people are expecting him to be that guy, like, OK, I'll show you had some drops.
It is gonna be OK.
You know, he's had some drops.
Eagles fans have been kind of hard on him, so I'm go out.
Sean, Jeffrey, He has a lot.
I think he has a lot to prove to Eagle Sands this year.
with Carson when eating.
I see if let's see if they can kind of get that connection going, I'll go out.
I loved watching him and colleges will, so I'll go out.
Yeah, I agree with you as well, Amber.
I also have Alshon Jeffery as my most improved player, and I honestly think he he's got what was he also hurt last year, like he also had he had a He had a big, big injury up of some sort.
So I expect him back back from that.
And and I honestly feeling he kind of has that ****** on his back.
You know, people forget when the Eagles made so little fish around in 2018 they were driving it down the field and with almost two minutes off the ball kind of went through Jefferies Hand.
So the last Eagles that people have us on Jeffrey it's not him hoisting the Lombardi and see him letting a possible NFC Championship game appearance slip through his hands so hopefully he could bounce back.
And I feel like it would be definitely helpful for the entire offense.
If else on Jeffrey could be kind of like 2017 hours on Jeffrey, cause that 2017 hours on Jeffrey and the playoff filled up the Eagles.
He was definitely a huge, intricate part on why they say that school will run so over Egan River, the clock and go back to that dominant player that that he wants was and hopefully he still can be.
And the last person who has amazing, uh, most of Claire yet is Sam, who you got for Most Improved Player.
So I had two people on my list.
I'm gonna stay with the corners.
I wanted to go a while.
The car did pick Sidney Jones.
This guy's been hurt throughout the majority of his young career.
I mean, Darius slaves, to me is a great corner to learn off.
He's been, he's produced.
He's been one of the most consistent corners.
I mean, in the NFC, arguably, I mean, Sidney Jones.
I mean, I'm gonna stick with City Jones.
I'm gonna go with the wild card and take Sydney Joe's.
My other one was going to be nuclear, Roby Coleman.
But I think city that I look at the cornerback position for the Eagles a lot like the Packers, where outside of.
I mean, there's a lot of unproven guys, and I think Sidney Jones is one of them.
I think City Jones is a guy that's been He's dealt with minor injuries throughout the course of Hiss.
I mean, he fell in the draft because he got injury.
I think he's gonna prove to himself why he's worthy of having anything crease role in that secondary.
Yeah, that is definitely interesting.
Wildcard piece there.
And that's simply a bold pick.
Like the boldness in that one.
And in a in a street were to be closing it out with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Uh, what, what do you believe the ability of the Eagles win loss record will be? And you guys think that the Eagles will win the NFC East? I think we'll go 19 7 10 and six.
I think we have a possibility to get there, but I think this year will end up 97 and I'm starting to realize that I did predict Accomplish would have a better record.
But get in the playoffs at nine and seven, make a bit of a run and upset the Cowboys in the playoffs.
You get to the second rule.
I think the Eagles will get to the second round Things here.
I would bet that for sure.
But I think we'll end up 97 I No, I don't think, though.
And fees and think how Blaze again.
Although I am English, I've got nine in some way are going to go for the have lied I got nine and seven as well and I I didn't think you're gonna pick 97 I thought you were gonna be I thought you were actually gonna be the 11th win because I remember.
I know Amber did say, There's got it. Me.
I think it makes a lot of sense to There's gotta be.
I think the Eagles in Kabul Is there going to be? It's going to come down neck and neck to the last 23 games of the season, but I've got them not in seven.
And Matt, I know you said that last week.
I have a Philadelphia Eagles going high.
I know what it is.
I looked at their schedule and I saw go, Jamis.
I saw a lot of job is that they were eaten.
I haven't going 13 and three.
I feel like I Carson Wentz is going to revert back to the 2017 MPP self that iwas now their losses that I do have that I do have a listen to the 40 Niners.
I don't think they're rating toe go up against the Niners.
I feel like that defense is still too strong.
Even though they did shrink affords Buckner, they still got Nick both and deformed on that defense.
I also got them losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I'm very high on the Pittsburgh Steelers this season.
Whenever we do talk about the Steelers, I will go in depth of why I'm so high on the Steelers and their the next one have religion to it.
I do have a losing to the Saints.
I feel like the States on paper have a better team, and they're gonna be the thing that way.
I just feel like the filling up the Eagles, even though they have the existing draft.
They also had a good draft like they got a receive a month and needed in jail breaker could have been just in Jefferson.
Yeah, it could have been Jenna just Jefferson, but they got a receiver that they needed.
And that's kind of all that matters.
Honestly, I feel like some people are down in Carson wins his health, and I feel like Carson Wentz is gonna have a fully healthy 16 game season and work.
You know, that old MPP West that was once saw in 2017 which is why haven't gone 13 and three and the number two seed in the NFC.
Well, the as I've been sitting here thinking, I think about all the teams in the NFC so the NFC South was gonna have to playoff teams.
Correct. You're gonna have the bucks.
In the South? Yeah.
They see more West could have three playoff teams.
You got Seattle, the 40 Niners.
There's always gonna be better.
And then you have the l.
You think so? I got to I got to NFC West. Teams of my players.
Yeah, you got to.
It could it could be three.
Maybe you don't know. We don't know what Arizona's gonna look like.
We don't know what the Rams gonna look like.
I really don't know anybody like before guys, but I have this point, at least for sure.
The NFC North a man NFC North is a tough one because you think the Packers will make the playoffs.
You think they will be there with Aaron Rodgers? Off course, 100% percent? Okay, Bears just There's just I think the Bears air quarterback away from making a play off running and just think it's just anything but Yeah, yeah, I just think the Bears could have two shot and watch their Patrick Mahomes.
Instead, they dropped individual trip. Risky.
That one glorified year. Norco.
Uh, you have Detroit.
Detroit just cannot get over mediocrity.
That's why slave lives so that you could go back and go to the NFC East.
You look at the Eagles and Cowboys and you say, Okay, can the NFC East get two playoff teams in team two teams in the playoffs? Yes.
What record will they have to have to get into the playoffs? You're gonna have one team in the playoffs.
You already know that.
But what? How many ways that seconds I'm gonna have I have the Eagles either at 10 and six or not in seven.
Now I think it's gonna be pressure on teams to get more wins because you have that one more team that's gonna make the playoffs.
So if you have a surprise team every year, you kind of have that surprise team.
Even if you even though we're gonna have extra team in, you'd have that surprised team in NFL, that team you're not gonna think Oh, wow, they make the playoffs this year.
So I think because people I didn't think people don't think Baltimore be as good as they weren't looking what they did people do You think that people like, oh, like, whoa, like there was a surprise team S o 97 or 10 and six? I'm thinking either one, those records and it's gonna come down in the last couple of games like I said every year does with the Eagles and Cowboys comes down to the end of the season.
So I think the NFC East could have two playoff teams in.
Now who do I trust? Morris said.
Caleb's point, who do I trust more in the playoffs? It's gonna hurt me to say this, but I think the Eagles could go further in a place because Dallas is gonna Dallas, but they always seem to Dallas.
It just any hearts, me say that they always seem to Dallas.
Like, Could you just not Dallas for one minute? We're just not Dallas way.
Don't Dallas, that I'm happy if we don't have a Dallas moment during the season to go further into the Eagles.
But we have one Dallas moment during this season.
I think that can kind of boil over and say, OK, here we go, another Dallas moment.
We're gonna have another now moment again.
So I think it just it just the pants when the NFC East could easily get two teams in depend on how many teams come out the West.
We know two teams in the South when we don't know about the North, so we'll just see how that goes.
Yeah, that's definitely hope that Cowboys don't allow like a C J Anderson guy to run for over 200 yards in a playoff game.
Let's hope they don't have.
They don't have another one of those for those moments again.
So I have don't go on 13 and three very high season and Rich you guys have 10 and 69 and seven type label.
Yeah, and I forgot about Minnesota, the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.
I completely forgot about a cart cousins in, Ah, Minnesota flags, an NFC North.
But could the Minnesota make some noise? You Packers fans? Are you worried about Minnesota? I feel like I'm feeling out of all the teams in the division that's the only one that out concerned with because we look at last year that week 16 game.
Well, you look at that Week 16 game.
That kind of basically decided the division.
I mean, we pretty much have the division locked.
Even if we lost again, there would be no way we would lose to Detroit and that we 17 games, even though we almost it, we did it.
But I don't think there was no way we were going to lose that.
And I think we have the division of the back.
It's just all about whether we wanted a chance at the one seed or just settle for the number four seed.
And, you know, Darius Smith had a fantastic game.
I love was a dairy.
Smith did against fighting, see, basically shut them down single handedly and Aaron Gels put the knockout punch of one of the NFC North, and I personally think it's gonna go down between those two teams again.
You know, I person think it's gonna be either green, Bayer, Minnesota.
Whoever has the better have you had a record and I can't wait for that as a week one opener.
You know, at U. S.
Bank Stadium, whether it's with fans or without fans, it's gonna be a very, very intense game, especially with how how both of their seasons ended.
I mean, we won't get both were very close to making deep runs When you look at Minnesota, they shocked the world and beat the Saints.
Manson division around.
We look at Green Bay.
Last year we made it to the NFC championship game, and obviously each team had different drafts.
We think of the Vikings they had a good draft after Justin Jefferson and Green Bay was probably the most surprising draft of all.
Drafting a quarterback that you don't even need enjoy the love drafting a running back that is at even though we already have Air Jones and then drafting another tight end.
But hey, we'll see what happens you know the floor Going into a second year, maybe Rogers has as a P here, you know, good people. Forget.
Rogers had 26 touchdowns and four picks in 4000 years.
I know, but you got but a farm 1/4.
I'll take that kind of season like I'll take 26 touchdowns, four interceptions.
That's a season right there and hopefully going to sink a year.
Skip bounce back.
But yeah, personally, I think Minnesota is that second team that that Green Bay should be concerned about.
The only thing go ahead.
The only the only other team that would concern me is just the Bears and their defense.
Their offense in the Bears doesn't scare me.
It's just that most of the midway defense with Khalil Mack and now proper Quinn and broke on Smith.
A lot of defense there, and that's exactly what I was going to say.
And I mean, the Vikings lost a lot of defense.
If I'm in here, if I'm the Packers offense, I am much more afraid of the Bears defense that I am the Vikings.
The Vikings lost a lot and it's gonna show especially in their secondary.
But I mean, Matt, you had them going the Vikings going nine and seven last week in making the playoffs, and I have them going and seven and not making the playoffs.
I feel like I thought you could go either way, because I know for sure the Cowboys and the Vikings play during the season, and I had Minnesota winning.
That's why I had Minnesota is seven Dallas, so I feel like I'm one of those teams.
Could be a seven seed.
Whether it's Minnesota Ordell's.
I want to be surprised if either one of those teams get it.
So, yeah, is definitely going to be going to be a very interesting, intriguing season, especially in the NFC East.
Hopefully only will see if ever predictions come true.
In fact, thank you guys for shooting into the stream.
We appreciate we appreciate that.
I am the manana chipped 50.
We also had a little like foam looking that sent a foam finger.
Thank you, guys, for the support way.
Thank you, Guys for a chicken.
USM for tuning, Spaceman.
Thanks for joining you guys.
you guys for having me was fun.
Hopefully we could do this morning.
Yeah, I had a lot of fun talking cowboys and getting Kevin subpoena about the egos and you Packers fans, So we kind of got a good mix of NFC teams.
Definitely got a good maker's name.
Fried eggs. Well, July 23.
All right, We definitely Wilk.
Thank you guys for tuning in.
Is that right? Yeah.
