Hello and welcome, everybody.
Christian also known FirstEngy 1098 prominent sort of chromium SportsCastr with the user name Christian G 10 I needed really appreciate it to do that.
And speaking of that, I'm going toe post that I am lying on Twitter section bomb in SportsCastr and on Twitter so, you know, every single time.
Oh, sorry to keep the table that I am live and look, I see you.
I'm gonna have you, Julian right now.
So today, uh, you guys know mood? He was in one of my videos last week.
We were talking about the Phillies and filling Sports said today we're talking about our top five favorite athletes of all time with curious everybody for, you know, start this person gas can form and SportsCastr.
It looks to see if their teeth you get a follow, I will give you a fall back.
And I'm excited about this video.
Yeah, So top five favorite athletes of all time, the personally mind are all Philly athletes.
I know years old are because you know what grief? Philly sports and then the devils.
So I see here where the Jersey right now.
Eso I'm sorry, buddy.
If I'm like looking down my phone, I'm not, like looking cause importer something.
I just have my list here on my phone.
So what? I'm thinking, um, on this Well, first, I guess, made him alternate.
Someone's going to say, you know, I'm start Bolt.
I think we should start from five.
Go upto one and, you know, say the best for last, you know? Yeah, I do one, but I have one.
Um, So what I'm going to say, you know, my one of my guys And then, um really, why in some of the plays that he made and, uh, some good, just some good stuff about him.
So if you want to go with their honorable mention first, you can go ahead.
My first honorable mention.
What is Allen Iverson? You know, six out of your.
Yeah, but not playing for the sixers.
Yeah, I didn't really get to watch a lot of him.
As you know, this time fit Billy for doing got traded my nose, like, wait 2000.
So and like, I wasn't watching best full and, like, you know, 23 years old.
But I just know, watching over nice highlights.
He just was a great player.
I think he's probably first or second Grace, Philadelphia basketball player and maybe athlete of all time.
I think I was gonna go high levels handles, you know, definitely fair moment.
Is crossing over Tyronn Lue making this shot and stepping over him, and then they finals.
I think what that was Game like two or three. Good.
Get more things done because we start over in l. A.
So yeah, that guy's might, um, are honorable. Mention.
Why? Honorable mention is the old Hamels, obviously great pitcher for the Phillies.
Won World Series M v p in 2008 for the Phillies. Second ever.
Um, World Siri's I mean at Cole Hamels.
His last start as a Philly was that no hitter at Wrigley Field? I mean, just a lot of good memories over the years.
I mean, like Cole Hamels, like, really the guys.
The first word I ever really watched the first like season of a sport was the 2011 Phillies.
It was like it was an awesome summer.
They went, Ah, 102 and 60 obviously lost in the NLDS, though, but, I mean, the guys I grew up watching.
I mean, Cole Hamels.
I know you can say the same Jimmy Rollins.
So obviously a lot of those guys, but I always loved Cole Hamels.
Really? Just because he was always just that calm, cool picture and almost pretending went out there can kind of depend on when? Yeah, so she was heading towards a lot.
You can start with your number five.
Fifth place is off.
Tim Howard, the goalkeeper offer soccer.
Obviously, being on the USA men's national team, Um, I really, you know, fell in love with 10 power at the start of 2014 World Cup.
I think that's what this World Cup was like in the in South America.
You want the finals in Brazil and obviously Tim Howard in the USA just had a great World Cup.
They're going off the B.
I think their team was Ghana and then they beat Portugal like 22 to 1, and then they ought to end the round ends group stage.
Nothing in Germany.
So going, you know, to own one in the group stage and watching Tim Howard played going every game.
Tim Howard Waas How old? Iwas? But he was definitely.
He was accused older.
He was like It is like early to mid thirties and then my favorite moment.
Tim had a round of 16 game against Belgium, where he made 16 saves, a career of a record high saves in a game.
And obviously they did lose to to win that game.
But just watching Tim Howard makes 16 saves.
No USA almost won that game.
Teoh, I think, claimed that.
Couldn't that seems like scored a late game, A late game tired.
But I think those were going keep saved it and I was a look.
I remember watching watching the world should not from Syria is the World Cup at my grandparent's house? No. On like a little TV.
My grandparents had just, I tell you, heard it down.
I was eight and amazed by how the system High Waas could have.
And then after the World Cup, no, he was also a pretty solid goalkeeper.
I follow him, follow him around.
But he did retire from professional soccer last season and he is my fifth.
Their at seat of all time.
All right, so my number five I was debating between Hamels and on the guy who I have your Malcolm Jenkins.
Um, an eagle for, I believe, six years, either six or seven years.
And obviously, he was the leader of the Eagles defence for all those years.
I mean, he was the vocal guy that would step up, and he was really like, I mean, he was the leader.
That whole team, for every single year that he was here for the Super Bowl, year through through the playoffs on.
And, I mean, Malcolm Jenkins was a great player, not this kid get Oh, he doesn't knows for Okay.
He was the leader of the Eagles defence for many years.
I love Malcolm Jenkins.
It sucks that most of them it sucks that we lost him.
Um, this offseason, Um, definitely didn't expect that.
I don't think anybody Um really what? The evils expected that, but I think for that tip, I appreciate it.
And he loved the city and the fans.
And I mean, he really has had a connection to the city of Philadelphia, and I mean pretty much.
Everybody loved him.
I mean, he always had the energy always hyping up the fans, and he always came up big in the big moment whenever we need to. The play.
Malcolm Jenkins was there.
He had that interception in the Giants game in 2018 that probably turned around the season.
Obviously, the huge hit on Brandon cooks in the Super Bowl that knocked him out.
Um, I mean, Malcolm Jenkins, the pick six against Tom Brady had been in 2014 or 2015.
I mean, just a lot of great moments from Malcolm Jenkins.
I mean, picking up even in one of his last games is an eagle picking up that fumble against the Cowboys.
Fletcher Cox was forced it out.
Um, it's the Cowboys were driving down field.
Malcolm Jenkins picks it up, and that stops the Cowboys drive.
That gives the Eagles the ball back.
The big turning point in the football game.
I mean, Malcolm Jenkins.
He was always there, always making big plays.
So he is my number five.
All right, so moving on to number four my list.
If Nico he shirt is a center for the Devils, you know, he is Who's on the back of my jerseys.
He's currently my favorite double.
He's pulling my favorite double all time.
Um, the moment I phone log with me.
But he shows in the 2017 NHL draft, you know, the Devils had the first pick and it was between.
But between Nico, he sure No. One Patrick.
He was taken by the fliers.
Just nest, pick and nickel.
He sure has just been such a solid player for the doubles.
He's kind of move.
He's down like the number one center on the team.
He has such great handles.
He's a great two way center.
You can play the defense, you can play even better offense.
And, you know, I can't wait to see when you keep Nico.
He sure can do in the future.
My favorite moment.
Nickel. He shirt.
Waas watching him scores first ever playoff gold in 2017 18 playoffs.
It gets attempted by lightning.
It was game to at Tampa Bay.
He scored in the first period.
Pressure like Miko Mueller put one on net.
Then there was like a big back add on front goes right out to ****ey Sherman puts in the top left corner on Daz Linskey, and that was to tie the game.
Obviously, we don't lose that game, but that, you know, just watching that Siri's scenic official place at such a young age playing so intensely in that series.
No made me fall in love with it.
No, he's number for my list and he's number one currently, like as a double.
Like he left her. Don't play right now.
So my number four the only flyer on this list Claude Giroux.
Obviously, I mean him.
I talked about growing up, watching Jimmy Rollins. Ryan Howard.
I mean, Claude Giroux.
I mean, I've pretty much been watching the fires of beginning of his career, and I mean, it's kind of amazing.
It's kind of crazy.
It does not seem like he's been in the league for 9 10 years or however long he has been in the league.
I mean, it just really doesn't feel that way, but, I mean, there's really no way, no other way to look at it.
But Claude Giroux was the best Philly sports athlete in the 20 tens, and it's not really close with anybody else.
I mean Drew just dominated those 2010 Dover.
Every other athlete when he came in the league, maybe 9 4010 in that area, and he's been pretty dominant ever since.
You've been one of the best players on the Flyers ever since he came up and played in the NHL for the first time and, ah, my favorite really part college er, he's always Koch.
I mean, he always shows up in big moments in overtime, in clutch situations.
Closure is always in the middle of everything, and that's really my favorite part about it.
But he gives it everything he has every game.
I mean, he's a smaller guy, but you always see him getting in the quarters and making aggressive.
Please call Drew just a smart player, a very good player, obviously, on the back end of his career.
Now not the player that he used to be.
But I mean, seeing his prime as a Flyers Fantine, the Flyers go to the playoffs playing the Penguins in these great Siri's.
I mean, watching Claude Giroux in those Siri's that that's some of my favorite Flyers memories right there and definitely my favorite true memory it's either.
It's between its between two things.
Both against Pittsburgh, one in the 2013 playoffs, where much of in Game three, Um, just admit, maybe seven or eight seconds into the game face, walk any checks? Crosby right to the ground, right away.
I think it was the first game in Philadelphia to so not even, like, 10 seconds into the game.
And then maybe 40 seconds later, he scores.
That was just a crazy Siri's an awesome gain.
And, um, the 2nd 1 definitely the stadium series against Pittsburgh at Lincoln Financial Field.
Him scoring the overtime goal.
I mean that that might be the moment.
That's probably moment, the highlight of his career.
And that those two, um, are by Claude Rose, one of my favorite players at number four.
Eso moving onto number three.
I have Mohammed Saleh.
He plays for liver points of soccer players, so my highest soccer player on the list, my second soccer player on the list, almost saw the place for Liverpool, my favorite soccer team in the world right now.
And you know what I started.
I haven't really been watching, you know, soccer for a while now, obviously, like I said and watch the World Cup in 2014.
But you know, it was the World Cups like who doesn't really watch that you don't like the soccer? It's like people would still do.
You watch that? Not even a fan of soccer, But I watched the World Cup, but then, um so I really haven't been watching like club soccer.
But in 27 teams, really, when I got introduced to the premier, Li um, and I fell in love with this player with most solemn who played for Liverpool.
Such why I am a Liverpool fan base, mostly because of most Sala.
So basically in the 2017 start that season. Waas.
You know when I fell in love with it, my favorite moment of most Allah Waas in last season's Champions League final, where he scored a penalty just two minutes into the game after a Tottenham defender had a handball.
Remember the celebration after it was like a really silly celebration as well. Fun to watch.
I'm a pressure most Salo, like he didn't like the bottom left corner or bottom right quarter is you in one of those and that stuff in my favorite moment of him and then watching him.
Right? But muscle is definitely what? My favorite soccer player in the world.
And I mean best Egyptian players, soccer player.
Right now, I don't know where people put him as of right now, Like, you know, if he's a top five, put their Top 10 top 15.
But, um, he's been Roy solid, really good score.
Leading the permit leaving prevent the Premier League with goals last season, him asylum on his teammate.
My also do all like but yeah, masala.
My number three athletes.
So my number three, obviously just a legendary Philadelphia athlete.
I mean, he obviously.
I mean, he's one of the best offensive linemen in the and not just, you know, his personality.
And so that's why I love him.
I mean, he is a great player.
Um, the problem by the best center in the league, one of the best, if not D best center of the 20 tens and in the NFL, I mean, all pros, Super Bowl champion, Really, everything can ask for in a career for Jason Kelsey, and I mean just one of the best offensive linemen in the game.
Um, always a great player, never, never injured, always.
And they're always reliable.
And I feel like he just really like he.
He understands what it's like to be from Philadelphia and all that, like he loved the city.
He loves the fan he loves, Um, he loves Philadelphia, and that's truly what I like to feel like.
You can almost relate to him.
Like like he's someone you know.
And obviously I love Jason Kelsey before, but I mean the speech at at the parade at the Eagle Super Bowl parade in 2018.
I mean that that's legendary.
That speech, that was that was amazing.
Um, you know, dropping a few f bombs in there and I mean, just screaming person that everybody is telling everybody.
Nobody believed in him.
And then, you know, Colin, everybody out.
Um, Brandon Brooks has anxiety.
Lane Johnson can't lay off the juice.
I mean, all that, all that kind of stuff.
And I mean point all that out.
I mean, he is funny.
He's relatable and a great player.
So he is my number three favorite athlete of all time.
All right, so the moving onto my number two athletes all time is Nick Foles.
You also get a court back with Phil Duffy Eagles on the force.
So I felt loved him.
I don't like, honestly got drafted by the Eagles, start playing and like, didn't think it was his rookie season like 1000 12 13 season.
I think it was the first to it was like, Yeah, I really wasn't like a big football fan at the time.
So then, like Appreciate, went to like the Rams and then the Cheese.
And then once he came back to the Eagles in 2017 that's kind one like, All right, I like this dude.
It falls and then favor moment and when I like, you know, truly, when he truly became one of my favorite athletes of all time was a Super Bowl 52 victory off CNN.
Carson once in that 2017 season, was such a great player.
Fortune got injured and weak.
Little's week 15 against the Rams, and then the force comes in when every single game as a starter for winning don't be 14 and then we'll in the playoffs.
14 cause yet and in the playoffs, feeding the Falcons leaving the Vikings, you know, having just such a dominant performance by Nick Foles in that game and then in the Super Bowl, winning 41 of 33 becoming the Super Bowl M v P.
What in the Eagles first ever Super Bowl, Philly special Greatest player of all time people watching that.
No one expected that Plato happen may not like the best player of all time, but definitely the, in my opinion, the best label time being biased.
You know, um, sir, Bobby P. So special.
Just a great fire will always be in a Philadelphia legend.
Um, you know, maybe low eagles retires number.
I know where I got statue for him.
And you know Doug Pearson.
Ah, and yeah, I feel like every field hockey sportsman loves loves Nick Foles.
And yeah, that's he isn't my number two athlete of all time.
Yeah, Nick Foles is also my number two.
Um, the whole time.
I mean, obviously, he brought us our first champion.
That brought the eagles.
Um, first Super Bowl.
That's the first, um, like championship I've ever experienced.
I mean, I was a lot out alive with those when the world's here.
That was three years old.
So, like I don't remember anything.
But I mean, Nick full.
I can remember pretty much every single part of that season, and he was the one who finished.
It brought us the championship.
I mean, I liked Nick fully.
I mean, the Eagles for me, like the Vikings game for me was just as good and as full on as the Super Bowl just because it was in Philadelphia and everybody's going crazy.
After all, the Vikings fans were whining about how you know they're getting yelled at and and punched and stuff like, What do you expect? Like if the biggest game in Philadelphia since 2005? I mean, he's like, What did they expect? But, you know, I mean, I mean, Nick Foles just a great player in that playoff runs so clutch and humble, and I mean one of the greatest.
He was the leader, one of the greatest games in Philadelphia sports history, if not the greatest game and Philadelphia sports history in that Super Bowl win over Tom Brady.
I mean, Nick Foles outperformed Brady in that game, and that's just I mean he wanted.
In the end, Brady made the big turnover one in clutch time and Nick Foles.
I mean, really, My favorite trade about him is how close she is.
He could be off the whole entire game.
He might be, you know, thrown three interceptions in the first half.
But if we're down by four points with two minutes left, there's nobody.
I'd rather have the Nick foldable, maybe like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, but pretty much you know what I mean, Nick Foles.
I mean, he could be bad all game long, but then in the hole last five minutes of the game, he looks like the best quarterback in the world.
That's exactly what it did against the Bears in the playoffs.
I mean, they Eagles struggled that game.
Only 16 points had 10 points until that last drive and Nick Foles just so clutch.
And I mean, that's what I love in a player when they can come up when it matters most.
So Nick Foles how close she is and obviously helping the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
That's why he's my number two.
I could see the way around, so moving on to my my favorite.
After all, time is younger.
Naga is a hockey player, you know, considering a winger.
This is his name has been in the NHL.
I think he even knew Iwas.
I think he was directing like the night 1991.
Pressure was when he was drafted.
When the two Stanley Cups with the Penguins.
And then, you know, kind of bouncing around between teams in the Eastern Conference Western Conference.
Also, you know, he took a break from the NHL in and played in the Checker publicly.
I forget with that. Leaders exactly.
That's where you place.
Now what? Then he ended up and then he came back play from Washington than New York.
And then he went to Philadelphia, which is when I fell in love with Jari Augur.
Um so I was kind off Not not gonna lie was kind of suppliers fan before I became a double span.
But the army watching Yemeni longer playing as a flyer playing.
He was unaware, Classic, you know, pressure.
We were across it.
That was true the while when you're what year to drew with in the world Cross, it wasn't the one of the corn.
That was in 2019.
I'm pretty sure the other one was against the Rangers a few years before that.
Yeah, that So that was like that? Yeah, because that's decimal number.
And so that's kind of when I fell in love, because I remember watching that game you're watching out and like, I don't know why, but for some reason, like, oh, he's a cool. But he's cool.
Buyers, old, still client, and I respect that.
And then, you know, went to Dallas Boston and then ended up on the doubles where that's kind of where became a double stand because of him.
Even once you left, I stayed as a double strand.
So my favorite memory off all younger, younger Waas I remember it.
January 3rd 2015 my first ever doubles game at the Prudential Center.
The Devils were playing the Flyers.
I was so excited.
Me, my dad went.
Yeah, Maria, your scored a hattrick.
He became the oldest ever player score hat trick.
I don't remember how old he was exactly.
I think maybe he was like, 35 or 36.
And being at that game, like, just fact, what That was the greatest game I've ever been to.
Devils winning five to Yemen.
Iago Schooling at hattrick.
Fox E our author for the 2nd 1 of the third Pressure like game ended with the flight to.
So, you know, just options.
An electrifying game and a big reason why I fell in love with your daughter at that time.
And he will always be my favorite athlete of all time.
Yes, of my number one, um, Philly, the first and only Philly on this list.
Chase Utley, former second baseman for the Phillies, spent almost so we'll career there but finished it out, Um, in L.
And he always played with heart.
I mean, he was always putting it all out there at all times.
I mean, he just played baseball in the right way, the way it was supposed to be played.
He played aggressive and have you need played? He played his way.
I mean, he obviously had a lot of power.
Great. I mean, solid in the fields.
But, I mean, what made him so much better as a fielder and defenders that hard willing to think that he can get just about anything, and obviously, I mean, that's kind of how I fell in love with the Phillies.
I mean, Rollins, Utley, Howard, all those guys.
But Chase Utley always caught my eye just because he was always, you know, running fast, put in that effort.
And I mean, he loved he loved the city, was always that quiet, humble guy that would come up in the big moment.
Always clutch he.
You know, he always seemed to be up in the big situations.
You know, two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and Chase Utley's up, of course, and suddenly it's always him.
And I mean, he was probably.
I mean, that might have been Ryan Howard or Rollins, but he was definitely up there for the best player on that 2000 a team that won the World Series and that run from 2007 2011 where the Phillies made the playoffs every single year between them and Utley.
He just always seem to come up big.
Hey, played a part and hustle and, you know, quiet.
But he always just played the game right, and one of my favorite Utley movements, he was on the Dodgers at this time, but was during the playoffs and obviously being ability for the long time.
Still, that hatred, Who were the Mets? Oh, uh, slid and hard to second base.
I believe it was Ruben Tejada.
Um, broke his leg like, but only you know, that's just what That's just the way Chase Utley played.
It was not a dirty play.
It's a baseball play, but, I mean, he's aggressive.
He's gonna do whatever he can to win the game.
And he says that determination.
That's what I love about Chase Utley.
So Justo Review My top five year.
I got Jenkins, Malcolm Jenkins at five.
Claude Giroux it for Jason Kelsey at three nickels and two and Chase Utley at one.
So the recovery can't moment at five. Empowered.
Ah, four Ki Scher.
Three most Sala to Nick Foles and one younger, younger and chase all we Definitely an honorable mention for me.
Definitely like that. Six or seven.
Yeah, she So he's different if your valuable time.
All right. Thank you for joining Lugo's.
Having you on it was fun.
Thank you, Father.
Thank you so much for watching everybody.
I really appreciate it.
And I hope you guys all have a great night.
And I thank you.
Look for joining.
He's sound everybody.
Yeah. See you guys.
Oh, now I got least.
