Hello, everybody and welcome into the broadcast.
I am similar is coming to you Live right here on SportsCastr and it's the prime time game in the Premier League.
The final game of what's been a very action packed day in the Premier Li.
Five games today, all of the previous four in the books This is the last one of the night in England is an 8 p.
Local time kickoff to wrap up Saturday action in the Premier League and it is Chelsea vs Watford from Stamford Bridge in the nation's capital London, England and it's a big game for both sides.
For Chelsea, they're trying to get back into the top four after Man United's win earlier in the day against um after Man United's win earlier in the day.
Excuse me against burn meth.
That meant that they have moved one point ahead of Chelsea and so if Chelsea want to get back into a Champions League spot by the end of the day, they will have to win because many night does have superior goal difference.
Ah, compared to Chelsea.
Oh yeah, this game means a whole lot for them as well because they are down and near the bottom of the table trying to avoid relegation, a huge game for both sides and we're just about ready to kick things off.
But before we do so, both teams take a knee in solidarity with the black lives matter movement as we've seen on every Premier League game since the restart and now we kick things off the first of 90 hopefully thrilling minutes upon us.
It's Chelsea vs Watford, Chelsea, of course, coming off of what was a very surprising in shocking 32 loss against another relegation threatened side in West Ham.
That was just three days ago.
A quick turnaround for Chelsea and we'll see if they can bounce back and let me get to the starting lineups first for the home side in Chelsea, it is Kepa Angle, as usual at the back.
It's Reese James, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma insists, are Azpilicueta in the midfield, Ross Barkley and Gola content and Mason Mount and then up top.
It's the front three of William Olivier Giroud and the American on America's birthday.
Let's see if you can deliver the goods.
Christian Pulisic, meanwhile, for the away side in Watford.
It's Ben Foster in goal.
Kiko, Craig, Dawson, Christian, capisce Ella and Adrian Mariappa in the back.
In the midfield, it's Will Hughes, 80 and Koppu Abdul a Duck or a Nathaniel Chalobah and is male Asar and then the loan.
Up top is Watford's main man, Troy Deeney, who's been the leader of this Watford side for a long time now.
A veteran player for Watford, Watford are coming off a 31 loss to Southampton last weekend.
That game took place on Sunday.
Meanwhile Chelsea they had an F A Cup game last weekend and therefore the Premier League match was until midweek.
So Watford Iran More rest, that's for sure.
And a look at the primarily table entering today's match as I mentioned Chelsea, currently in fifth place, looking outside of a Champions League spot right now.
But a win would put them back in the top four and back in front of Man United.
Meanwhile, Watford in 17 place there, just one spot above the relegation zone.
But not a lot of room to work with and a loss tonight surely? Well, they'd have to wait to see what results went down tomorrow, but surely you know they would, there would be a great possibility that they would slip into the relegation zone.
And so we'll see what transpires tonight.
Thank you, Matthew.
Thank you, Joe, for joining the broadcast.
This is the last game of a quadruple header in Premier League action today there was a 7:30 a.m.
Eastern game that was Norwich against Brighton, a battle down the bottom of the table, nor which once again, losing.
And they seem to be destined for the second division next year.
It was a one nil win for Brighton.
Then there were actually two games at the 10 a.
Men United with a big time victory over Burn Myth.
And they were firing on all cylinders.
A 52 win over Burma thin that one.
And then, at the same time, a Leicester City finally got back on the winning track.
They beat Palace three no Jamie Vardy with a pair of goals.
Leicester fans will be happy to see Leicester winning once again because that hasn't happened in a while now and also they'll be happy to see Jamie Vardy finding the back of the net once again then the game that finished about half an hour ago.
Eastern time slot, it was ****nal with a big two nil victory over Wolves.
Wolf seemed to be flying high all season long, but in particular after the break due to the Corona virus.
Ever since they return.
But it is ****nal, maybe getting back on track.
I can't definitively say that yet, but it is a Big two nil win for ****nal Booky Osaka, who just signed a contract extension midweek, also scoring his first primarily goal for the Gunners today.
And now let's see what the final game of the day has in store.
Four minutes and free kick for Chelsea.
It's willing Andrew lining up to take.
I would think that Willing is gonna fire this one on goal with his right foot.
William, both the PK specialist and the free kick specialist for Chelsea.
But before he can take the free kick, the referee will have a quick ward.
Kevin Friend is the referee today in this one seven a word with both Ross Barkley and Ah Cesar Azpilicueta, the new FIFA law.
You the if the attacking team has any players around the wall, they have to be one yard away from the opposing team's wallets.
Actually, Olivier Giroud goes with a left footed strike, but he drills it right into the firm wall of Watford and watch for a do their job defensively right there, well done by the wayside.
Chelsea still with it.
It's that wide with Mason.
Mount Mount ships it ahead for Christian Pulisic shouts for a handball there on Mari Apa.
But it wasn't spotted by the referee.
Five minutes in.
No score from Stamford Bridge.
This is played out wide.
You can't quite be controlled by Kiko along the sideline and going back to the free kick effort from Djourou, and I was just drilled right out.
The wallet looked like he was trying to get it over the wall.
You definitely didn't appear to be trying to keep it down low and go under.
It just couldn't get enough lift on it.
So the wall there, the block that one.
And so it's a missed opportunity on the first free kick of the game for Chelsea.
Thank you, everyone for tuning into the broadcast.
As always, I greatly appreciate it.
Hope you are enjoying as well.
Thank you, Billy, for joining the broadcast.
Glad to have you tuning in here on SportsCastr for some Premier League action.
Six minutes down.
Nil nil. The score.
Cross Barkley a little too nonchalant.
Didn't see the pressure coming and it's at CNN.
Kapu coming up with the steal.
For what for? Is that a play Kiko to take the throwing? Keigo goes down the sideline controlled by Reese James, but James had it taken away.
Good defensive work from cess are Azpilicueta.
You ends it for Chelsea, Kurt Zouma and Reese James, both starting at the back for Chelsea.
Frank Lampard switching things up of it.
Nigel Pearson, Meanwhile, going with a familiar line up on Watford side of things.
But we see both Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso on the batch.
A very poor game from the Chelsea defence on Wednesdays.
In Wednesday's loss, I should say against West Ham.
Here's Mason Mount, trying to cut that back into the six yard box, but it's broken out and a corner kick, though coming up for Chelsea Mariappa was in the way.
Willie, and though we'll take the corner kick and William does decide to play his short into the feet of Mason Mount, curling that one towards the far post but too much on it and no one on the end of a goal kick for want.
For Ben Foster, the goalkeeper for Watford.
This will be a Chelsea throwing and it will be sets are Azpilicueta to take.
He goes all the way back to Kappa Arreaza, Malaga, Keppel with a risky ball at the back.
Christenson nearly lost it.
The pressure being put on.
But I will Hughes.
That was a risky decision by Capita Plato right across the goalmouth.
In the end, though, he gets away with it.
Mason Mount has been a, uh, a regular feature in Frank Lampard, starting 11 and rightly so.
He's definitely deserved it, along with Christian Pulisic, who sometimes starts on the bench.
But as of late, he's been starting as well, with good reason.
You could argue that these last few games he's been the best player on the pitch for Chelsea.
Well, it's a great ship over the top, Djourou's on the end of it, Taru trying to square it across back to Pulisic, head of the way.
That was great build up play from Chelsea and it all started with the little flick over the top from Pulisic Djourou trying to return the favor, just not quite able to connect in the end.
Here comes Mason Mount.
Meanwhile, Mount out wide for Pulisic.
Political little hesitation.
What is taken away? Nicely done there by Nathaniel Chalobah.
Take it right back once again.
It's been the story so far in the first chairman.
It's no score on this Saturday night in England.
Nil nil between Chelsea and Watford.
It's tripped up their foul called against Adrian Mariappa.
Chelsea quickly put the ball back in play.
Ah, high tempo offense here for Chelsea, willing.
With the cross easily dealt with by Ben Foster.
Well, it truly has been a fun and long day in the Primer league here on on in the United States.
It kicked off early in the morning, and now this is the final game of the day.
Tomorrow be a similar story.
It's a quadruple header once again.
Plenty of good matches to look forward to tomorrow.
It all kicks off at 7 a.m. Eastern.
That's when we'll see Burnley take on! Ah Sheffield United.
That should be a good one, I think.
And then at 9 15 it's Newcastle vs West Ham and 11 30 Liverpool vs Aston Villa and then at 2 p.
The one Albion The call for it'll be Man City versus Southampton and then to wrap up the match day.
There will be one game on Monday.
It should be a good one between Tottenham and Everton before Ah whole another set of mid week fixtures Tuesday through Thursday as the matches come fast and furiously, which is great for Premier League fans Friday, the only off day really in the Premier League.
There's been so many matches in such a short period of time to make up for those three months that we didn't have any, primarily soccer.
Thank you for the tip bill.
Glad you're enjoying the broadcast is Reese.
James was called for the foul.
They're taking out Will Hughes.
It's now a free kick in a dangerous area here for Watford.
Let's see what they can make of it.
Obviously this is pretty.
It's not a must win, obviously for Chelsea, but man united keep on winning.
There's no sign of them slowing down.
And so they and and Chelsea obviously coming off of a game that they really, uh, you know, came out with a very poor performance they should have beat.
They are a better side in West Ham.
We all know that West Ham.
I've been struggling all season long and for Chelsea to lose that game, just a huge blow.
So we'll see if this is a bounce back game for them.
I had expected to be.
I expect that to be the case, but we shall sing.
You're 30 minutes in. No score.
Thank you for joining the broadcast, Peter.
Glad to have you on board here on SportsCastr, a reminder that we just now have four days until the MLS is back.
That's literally the name of the tournament.
The ****yzes back tournament getting underway Wednesday night.
I'll be on the call for the opener between Orlando City and Inter Miami That will be at 8 p.
Make sure you tune in for that one.
There was pretty big news this morning as, Ah, Thursday night's game between Vancouver Whitecaps and FC Dallas has been postponed.
Do do nine players testing positive from the FC Dallas team and also do the fact that the Vancouver Whitecaps delayed their arrival due to those positive tests from their opponent.
And so they're not arriving till Monday.
So it just gives the FC Dallas players who tested positive, more time to quarantine and recover, and also gives Vancouver more time to, AH, get some training in and I have some time to settle in Orlando.
Or else that would have been a quick turnaround if they had to play Thursday like it was originally scheduled.
But as of right now, the tournament will go on.
Obviously, the health and safety protocols are, ah, what all the discussion is about, and rightly so.
We're living in a Corona virus world, and, ah, obviously, from a fan's perspective, we hope that the tournament goes on without any hitches.
But that's never going to be guaranteed willing.
With the left footed strike, it might have taken a deflection on the way, but it's right into the hands of Ben Foster quarter of an hour in its Chelsea Know what for Now live on, SportsCastr.
Thank you for the follow.
Thank you, Peter, for the follow.
I appreciate that greatly.
I cover a lot of sports here on SportsCastr.
Obviously, over the last month and 1/2 or so, it's been pretty much soccer in just soccer because we're still waiting for all of the other sports to pretty much return.
I also commentate basketball, hockey.
Ah, football, baseball, Even some tennis here on SportsCastr or so once the MBA, NHL MLB are all back, I'll be on the call for many of those games.
I'm a diehard Boston sports fan being from Massachusetts and so in particular, I'll be on the call for a lot of Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox games once they're all back in action as William goes back for James James over to Kurt Zouma, Zuma hasn't been in the starting lineup for a while now.
He was, I believe, on loan at Everton for a little while.
I think it broke his leg, actually, while he was there.
The recovery from Zuma has has been tremendous and you know, credit to him for Ah for recovering from a horrific injury like that and he's made his way back into the Chelsea team in the starting lineup tonight Chelsea dominating possession wise.
But that final ball just that final pass hasn't quite been there.
A lot of these crosses have gone right into the hands of Ben Foster.
The final execution has to be better from the Blues.
Zuma comes flying into head that one down.
It's controlled by Hughes, a man down for Watford, and they'll just play it out to deal with the injury here as it is, Troy Deeney, who is the one injured for Watford? Yeah, Zuma just came in.
He went over his back to win the header and you went right into the back of Troy Deeney.
And so he's a little shaken up afterwards.
So Troy Deeney seems to be all right.
We play on ball back into the feet of Ben Foster.
So were the Christian Cava Silly? A little chip over the top content wins the header.
I can't control that.
Sent out Why, though, to William William back to Pulisic ballistic right up the middle, he finds true Olivia zero going for the back post.
It's a great kick save by Ben Foster, a big time saved by the Watford keeper.
It was nearly Olivier Giroud found the back of the net and nearly put Chelsea in the lead.
But it wasn't meant to be.
Now it's out with Reese James ballistic diving for the header.
It gets through to amount, but a foul called against Drew.
It looks like, and it will be a free kick going out the other way.
Kevin Friend spotting a foul here and let's see if it was the right decision. Yeah.
Oh, Olivia Djourou.
Pretty much just throwing Christian Cava selling to the floor, but going back to the Chelsea Chance.
Lovely connection there.
Pulisic with the through ball to Djourou drew clearly onside.
And it was, Ah, Kappa cell.
He was trying to get back.
Teoh block that shot, but he couldn't do so in time.
It was one on one with the keeper at that point, Djourou trying to pick out that far corner.
But Foster with the kick save to keep Chelsea off the board.
It's now played all the way back for Foster.
What for? Trying to slow things down a little bit.
We're 20 minutes in.
No score from Stamford Bridge, an empty Stamford Bridge.
It's been a weird feeling at all these stadiums in England that are empty for obvious reasons.
No fans allowed for the rest of the season due to the Corona virus.
Cesar Azpilicueta plays it across the back for Andreas Christiansen.
Christensen to Reese. James.
Good to see the youngster in Reese James get the start at right back.
He's proved that he is worthy of being in the Chelsea starting lineup.
Gola content to Kurt Zuma, Zuma finds Azpilicueta, and that's a big scream of pain there from Olivier Giroud.
You could hear it quite clearly, and Koppu will get a yellow for it.
So anti and Kapu gets the first booking of the game.
Let's see how bad this challenge really.
Oh yeah, studs right on the ankle of Djourou.
There's no way he was not going to get a card for that vicious challenge.
It's a good decision by the referee, Kevin Friend.
So far so good from him, City and so Chelsea getting ready to take the free kick.
It's another good opportunity here on a set piece for the Blues.
Let's see how many players Watford puts on the wall.
Looks like Watford are gonna have four on the wall.
Mt in willing both surrounding the ball, we'll see who it is that ultimately takes the free kick.
I would think that this is gonna be a shot on goal and Foster setting up his wall and ready to face whatever comes at him here.
Ross Barkley is also surrounding the ball as well.
Three guys for Chelsea.
Who's gonna take it? Is the question.
I think it would be willing here.
Well, let's see if they prove me wrong.
Nope, it's going to be willing.
The right foot of his off the top of the wall.
Ross Barkley with a second chance.
It was pinball ing around the edge of the 18 in the Watford Wall has done well on free kick so far. For Chelsea.
It was nearly over the wall for William, but it was off.
The head of one of the Watford guys on the wall couldn't quite pick out who, exactly it Waas and Gola content.
He finds Andreas Christensen Christensen back to contact Kurt Zouma to the sideline.
Reese James against Will Hughes.
James holds up, play reverses to contact.
Now it's in the middle with Ross Barkley.
We're past the midway mark of the first half.
Next stoppage most likely will bring us to our first half hydration break.
Conte's pass deflected Watford come away with it.
Troy Deeney over the top.
Will Hughes waiting for fellow teammates to get upfield.
Hughes with the left footed cross.
It was Azpilicueta who got ahead to it in a foul called against Mason Mountain at the edge of the area and now Watford with a free kick in a dangerous area.
And this was a job well done by Hughes.
Just waiting enough for enough time toe.
Have his teammates get further upfield in the cross was, Ah, decent one.
Nobody got in the end of it for Watford ultimately, but it did force Chelsea Teoh clear that one out, dealing with the pressure of Watford and Mason Mount in the end, committing a foul free kick for Watford in a dangerous area.
It'll be Nathaniel Chalobah to take this free kick.
Chelsea got five on the wall and let's see what Chalobah does here.
Does he go for the near post of the far post? He goes for the near post, but too much loft on that one Well over the crossbar, and that does bring us to the first half.
Hydration break something we've become accustomed to ever since the Premier League resume play.
This has been a feature in every game, a water break at the midway point of the shaft, no matter what the conditions are, because the reality is both of these players.
All of the teams in England, I should say, aren't used to playing Premier League games in the summer months.
By the way, happy Fourth of July to everyone tuning in hope you're enjoying the holiday.
Watching some premier Prime plenty of Premier League games today.
Spend a fun day of action.
I am a big Chelsea fan. As you guys know.
Hopefully they can get a win to make my day even better.
And now, at the water break here, it's an opportunity for Frank Lampard to get some words across to his team.
The otherwise wouldn't necessarily have the opportunity to do in the in the run of play.
In normal cir***stances where water breaks aren't a normal feature in each half the same goes toe Watford side of the field.
Nigel Pearson could get some orders across to his players Frank Lamp ARD, now one year in charge of Chelsea.
And it's clear that it's clear that, you know, he appears to be the man going forward for quite a while.
Um, you know, just the moves that Chelsea have made really tell you that Frank Lampard wants to win soon.
And, ah, you know, the acquisitions off team over in er and, uh, Hakim's IAC from my axe definitely tell you just that Chelsea do need to shore up defensively.
But on the offensive side of things, I mean, there gonna be absolutely stacked.
They already are, you know, with the likes of Abraham Mount Pulisic, Djourou, William.
But once they get Verner in Zion, I mean, Chelsea are gonna have one of the best front lines in world soccer.
You have to think.
I mean, I definitely make an argument for it.
We know the goals are gonna come for Chelsea, but the problem is at the back where the improvements definitely need to be made.
I mean, you just see today to changes made by Frank Lampard because it was the poor performance from Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso on Wednesday, part of it has to do with rest.
Don't get me wrong just two days off before this game.
Quick turnaround from that West Ham loss for Chelsea, which could could be good as well.
Get that loss out of your head and bounce back tonight against Watford.
Here is a Mason mount with it for Chelsea.
Mount to Ross Barkley.
Barkley, on his right foot, gets it through that.
Surround a regular far post, and it's off the posted end.
Oh, Chelsea, take the lead.
It's Olivier Giroud, the Frenchman who is the 1st 1 on the board.
In the 28th minute.
It's Chelsea one, Watford Nil from Stamford Bridge.
And this is just brilliant execution from Chelsea.
A great little past from Ross Barkley.
And the finish is top notch from Djourou, isn't it? Know what? A pass from Barkley and then Djourou picking his spot and delivering quite beautifully right there. Foster.
All he could do was look back at that one and hope that it went off the post and out.
Instead, it went off the post in In and Olivier Giroud finding his form.
The Chelsea fans around the world watching on in a virtual watch party.
Obviously, no fans allowed in attendance at Stamford Bridge, but plenty of fans gathering together online for this one in the Chelsea fans.
Very happy with that goal from Olivia Djourou, including myself.
In the 28th minute.
It's Djourou who puts Chelsea and lead first goal of the game.
Let's see if Chelsea can build off of that opening goal to maybe doubled the lead in the near future.
Take nothing away as well.
From the assists by Ross Barkley.
Just absolutely brilliant.
Christian Pulisic pokes it out wide for Azpilicueta in swinger politic with the header.
Foster had Teoh get up there to make the save.
It wasn't as routine as it may have looked at, as it may have looked to be at first.
It was like aiming for the top right corner.
It might have gone over, who knows, But Foster is a tall goalkeeper, and you got up there just in case to take that one down.
Might if it off the crossbar.
But Chelsea with a whole new sense of energy and them after getting that first goal, which could turn out to be the breakthrough goal for them and they might never look back half a Knauer in an hour remaining.
Chelsea over Watford.
I hope all of you are enjoying the broadcast.
Your on SportsCastr does that sound of play on the sideline for a throwing Nigel Pearson trying to keep the belief going in his Watford side that they can get a goal back because obviously every game super crucial for Watford, especially as ah, if they don't string together some positive results at the end of the season, they could be Ah, relegated in front of their eyes.
Remind your Southampton will take on Manchester City.
That's tomorrow at two Eastern time.
I'll be on the call for that.
One hope to see you.
Then I'll wrap up a jam packed weekend in the Premier League.
Nine games during the weekend.
There's one on Monday, the wrap up the match day here is Ross Barkley, a clean tackle from Will Hughes and SAR was often running, but that last touch got away from him, says her Azpilicueta.
Now with it for Chelsea.
Here now is Mason Mount MTA Reese James James, looking for willing along the sideline.
But the past was for in the end and Watford have it since I wide by.
Capucho, who's already on a yellow card for his challenge earlier on Mason Mountain, are now.
I know rather on Olivier it Djourou My apologies, Clay on, says Kevin Friend after Pulisic committed the foul.
Adrian Mari Apatow is May Lesar SAR with a nice turn to get out of traffic.
It's now in the middle with etc and Koppu composed, taken out play on, says the referee.
Watford on the attack.
It's a decent ball in but a little behind and contents there.
The head of the way.
Thank you, Vaughn for joining the broadcast 33 minutes in Chelsea Up one nil.
Here is William William moving up field for Chelsea.
William holds up play.
Now you'll switch it to the other side.
Now it's taken down by Cesar Azpilicueta Kurt Zouma to Mason Mount Ross Barkley Over to Azpilicueta.
Happy Fourth of July to you, Von Into everyone tuning in Hope you guys are having a good day.
Yeah, I saw that you posted on your story that the the Eagles won yesterday up.
You're happy that the Eagles one and I'm helping Happy that Chelsea are in the lead right now.
Entering this game, they were coming in one point.
Back of Man United after men United beat burn meth earlier in the day five to.
But a win for Chelsea today would put them back in front of Manu for that fourth and final Champions League spot.
It's Olivier Giroud's goal in the 27th minute that is put Chelsea in the lead in primetime at Stamford Bridge and that one is out of play for a goal kick to be taken by Ben Foster.
What a day it has been on the Fourth of July in the Premier League.
For us here in the United States, who are primarily fans, it spent a treat here on the Fourth of July.
You don't This is the first time ever.
Obviously, there's been Premier League on Fourth of July as well, not something we're used to.
The NHL wants an 82 game season next season.
Yeah, I'm not surprised.
I'm not surprised you're a SAR SAR aiming for the back post.
Troy Genie one at his feet.
It was Reese James, the right back for Chelsea who got in the way of that one that might have taken a deflection.
First off off of Zuma, perhaps before it was cleared away by James.
That might have been the case 10 minutes to go, plus stoppage time here in the opening half.
All right corner kick here for Watford and it will be a right footed in swinger.
A chance for what? For the equalize? Yeah, there would be more back to back games if they if they were able to pull off in a two game season.
Here is the service headed away.
Try to take it down.
Content A in the way.
Willing now up ahead for Ross Barkley.
Barkley, frustrated with the past that was played behind him.
Barkley, who had the assist on the Drew goal.
A beautiful assistant.
Waas Here comes Willing and Chelsea looking for gold number two over to Ross Barkley down the left side.
Barkley really looking good these last few games.
He was great at average in Chelsea, liked what they saw from him at average and picked him up.
He struggled at first at Chelsea, but I think he's here to stay and he's found a way into the starting lineup, deservedly so.
And I think I think Ross Barkley is a really good player.
He really does make an impact.
As we saw in that first goal, this is through the Gero Gero takes.
Ah, armed to the throat.
There, it looked like and a foul is called.
It's against Christian caba. Silly.
Let's see the replay This.
Yeah, I mean, cabin selling may be fortunate that it isn't a yellow card.
He went to the throat of Djourou right there and just no need for it.
But he gets away with no card, it appears, and another free kick, not too far outside of the 18 yard box for Chelsea Marcos Alonso trying to stay loose on the Chelsea.
I was gonna say that Chelsea bench, but obviously the substitutes located in the first couple of rows of seats, socially distanced from each other due to the new protocols that we've all become accustomed to trying to stay loose.
Marcos Alonso, usually a regular starter but Frank Lampard clearly making a statement starting both Kurt Zouma and Reese James in this game rather than going out with Rudiger and Alonso after that disappointing defensive performance against West Ham mid week.
All right, Watford seems like they got every player from their team on the wall.
We've got William Mount and Barkley all lining up to take it, will be willing with a strike and for the third time on three free kick.
So far for Chelsea, the wall comes up big for Watford and blocks the free kick.
Christian Pulisic back to Angola, content his head or out of play for a throwing for those of you are NASCAR fans and NASCAR Cup series will take place tomorrow at four Eastern time in Indianapolis at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
That will be immediately following the South Hampton Manchester City game on NBC.
So a busy afternoon evening in sports for NBC tomorrow.
You don't see networks these last few months having a lot of ah, not conflicts, but a lot of sports going on on their airwaves, By the way, so far, the shots, 82 in favor of Chelsea, the shots on goal four nil and it will now be a corner kick for Chelsea.
That cross went off of Kiko.
It looks like it went off the chest of Kiko, in fact, and you might have lost his breath.
Adam Simpson did good coaching the Eagles.
Yeah, looks like it.
Here comes the right footed delivery from William towards the near post, but there they headed away was Kapu.
Barkley will switch it to the sideline.
Christian Pulisic controls ballistic back to Christians in.
Now it's Ross Barkley.
Thank you, everyone for tuning in on this Fourth of July.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful Fourth of July FS.
One is showing a crow's game.
Really? Yeah, I saw that I saw you posed to that.
It's punched away by Ben Foster wasn't the most affirmative punch, but it was enough.
Now it's Azpilicueta.
Christian Pulisic, the Hershey, Pennsylvania native celebrating July 4th from overseas in England.
And maybe Captain America can deliver on America's birthday today.
Dante toppled over by Deeney and free kick Given right there.
Not too many complaints can be had about it as we are five minutes away from stoppage time here in the first half.
There's that last ball send in.
Foster did well, coming off his line.
Maybe not the best punch, but it was enough, as I mentioned.
Let's see If the free kick goes into the wall yet again, it's done.
So on the 1st 3 occasions, maybe this time we'll see a change.
It's Mason Mount who's placed the ball down.
It looks like he's the one that's going to go for ago.
There's been no luck with William.
Why not try another one? I think Mount is going to go to the far post.
No, he goes for the near post.
But guess what? It's off the wall again.
I don't know what it is about the Watford Wall, but they've been doing their job time and time again.
And obviously Chelsea could have done better with their free kicks.
But you got to give credit to the I want for wall honeys.
Four free kick So far as well.
You start school in August 12th despite the Corona virus.
I mean, I don't know what my I mean, I'll start school went when we're supposed I start school on.
Ah, I think September 4th ballistic taken down and he wins his side of penalty yet again and Chelsea with a chance to double the lead.
It's cried, Dawson, the guilty party and we saw Christian Pulisic win Chelsea a penalty kick three days ago against West Ham, and he does so once again against West Ham.
Pulisic just so good on the ball.
And there was no need for this for hell to be committed, actually.
And yeah, he just bulldozed right over Pulisic.
My bet it wasn't Craig Dawson who committed the fell. My apologies.
It was actually Ah, it was actually at sea and compose already on a yellow.
He's got to be careful, but as I said, I'll start school.
Um, I think I start school on Yes, you think e I don't know.
I think maybe it's September 3rd or something like that, but I don't know if it's going to be in school or online.
Or maybe a little bit of both.
I'm not sure how it's gonna go, So here we go.
Penalty kick for Chelsea.
Can they double the lead? It's willing.
From the spot, the run up and the finish Oh, will.
In the penalty kick, specialists for Chelsea delivers once again a little stutter step and slots that one to the right corner.
Foster guests the wrong way.
Willian slots at home Chelsea doubled lead and all is going well for the Blues in the first half.
43 minutes in his Chelsea too.
Walk Burnell from Stamford Bridge in London, England and Chelsea really running away with this game, it appears, although I don't want to jinx anything.
But it's a job well done from Chelsea in this first half thus far.
Obviously still a whole another 45 minutes to take care of business in.
But this is the Chelsea team we're accustomed to seeing.
Unlike their performance midweek against West Ham.
Throw in coming up for Watford and it will be taken here by Adrian Mariappa reminded to stay tuned because the preferably halftime show coming your way next.
That's coming up soon, but still we've got a few more minutes left in this first staff to be played out and it is Watford who have the throw and it's gonna be a long throwing in the 18.
It's a decent throw and it wins them a corner kick.
As a matter of fact, you have to watch to Diego Martinez games this ride and next Monday not this Monday, next Monday.
Okay, Yeah, it will be a left footed delivery and it's Will Hughes with the service popped up into the air at the edge of the six Chelsea looking to clear Mason Mount does so we're still waiting on the word for how much stoppage time they'll be.
Here comes Christian Pulisic.
Off to the races.
Three minutes of stoppage time is the word ballistic, weaving his way through.
Has to hold up play.
Chelsea were still getting numbers upfield.
Watford recover in time and Kiko sent it out of play for a throwing.
Who's on being sports day? I don't know.
I haven't I haven't checked out being sports today yet.
I am not sure Von Re shames takes the throwing here into the feet of Ross Barkley.
Barkley back out wide for James.
Will Hughes wins it.
Ross Barkley, though, takes it right back the past, though I, y, Joe willing, was a poor one back in two.
The possession of Watford.
Thank you the next for joining the broadcast.
I am not sure who it is that's tuning in.
I I don't know if it if it's Luke, Michael or Josh, I am unsure, but I appreciate whoever it is for tuning in for some primarily action.
It's Chelsea vs Watford and it's all Chelsea.
So far it's two nil.
But it could be more.
It's Michael. All right.
Thank you, Michael, for joining the broadcast.
Yeah, usually it was Luke joining when? Whenever the next joined the broadcast.
But I know I know I heard about the situation with Luke, so I assumed it was either.
So thank you, Michael, for joining in Christian Pulisic just a little while ago won a penalty kick for Chelsea Willie and converted from the spot, and Drew was the 1st 1 to score for Chelsea.
The current score line, one minute left of stoppage time here in the first half before we arrive at the interval, spent a great day up primarily action, as I was mentioning earlier ****nal the big win over over Wolves.
I think you called the second half of that game, Michael.
If I'm not mistaken, I was a little busy this afternoon, so I couldn't stop by.
But that was a big win for ah, for ****nal, for sure.
Mount taken out free kick given Chelsea tryingto hurry things up here to try to get one last chance before halftime.
Here is Christian Pulisic It was a heavy challenge, but a clean one from Hughes.
Christian Pulisic clearly disagreed.
Actually, his boot came off Christian Pulisic trying to get his left cleats back on his foot.
Maybe it was a foul.
Maybe not and we have reached the minimum of three minutes of stoppage time here and Kevin Friend blows the whistle and we are halfway through 45 minutes down 45 to go from Stamford Bridge in London, England.
A pretty nice night in England and it's Chelsea who, if this result held, would go back ahead of Man United in fourth place on 57 points.
Watford, meanwhile, are in 17th on 28 the relegation zone.
Wu Ming for Watford.
They want to stay out of it.
A loss wouldn't do them too good, though I'll be back with the halftime report Next stage. June.
This is the Premier League on SportsCastr.
It's Chelsea to watch for a nail halfway through.
Welcome back in everybody.
This is the Premier League halftime report live on sports cast of the final game of a five day five games.
I should say in this day in the Premier League it's Chelsea to Watford Nil at the midway point.
Glad to have you all here on SportsCastr and let's go over the first half highlights because there were a good amount of them first.
In the 19th minute, it was Chelsea with their first solid chance of the game.
It was Christian politic with a through ball to Olivia, zero Djourou with a left footed strike, aiming for the far post.
But it's been Foster with a good stick save.
You got to give the goalkeeper credit on that.
Want to keep Chelsea off the board, but they wouldn't be off the board for that much longer.
As then in the 28th minute, it would be Olivier Giroud who would get on the board.
And how about this Maze amount in the Ross Barkley Ross Barkley Andrew on the same page, great pass from Barkley with the through ball to Djourou and this time Drew does connect towards that back post off the post and in Chelsea took the lead and then they would double the lead 42nd Pulisic accelerating down that left hand side taken out inside the 18 and a clear penalty kick to me.
Not sure what the heck etc.
And Koppu is doing.
Going in with that challenge willing would take the penalty kick in the 43rd minute and as usual, William finds the back of the net from the spot.
Chelsea doubled the lead.
It's a two nil advantage at halftime and just going over some statistics, they're out shooting Watford, currently 11 to 3.
No surprise there.
They're dominating in all categories, really.
Shots on goal 51 and yeah, very comfortable performance from Chelsea and at first after possession with 70 30%.
And the key was they did something with that possession.
This is a sharp Chelsea side and they definitely seem like a team that you know are not happy about that loss.
Midweek against West Ham, they have more than double the amount of passes than Watford with 3 19 Watch for committing more fouls, 7 to 5 in that category.
And yeah, what a performance from Chelsea in that first half and I'd expect them to just carry that over into the second half.
They're in cruise control over Watford after the break, though I will catch you up on everything that happened earlier in the day.
I'll go over the highlights from all four games prior to this one.
Stay tuned for that.
There's a lot to discuss after this quick break.
Welcome back in.
Let me give you the Premier League update.
There's a lot to get.
First we had Old Trafford, where man you took on Birdman.
It was one they'll burn with at one point, but that was a short lived lead.
Four men for burn month.
Rather was Mason Greenwood, who equalized then many night up to one in stoppage time of the first half and water strike for Manti Marciel top corner upper 90 to make it 31 Then it was 3 to 2 early on the second half.
But in the 54th minute it was Greenwood once again and what a strike.
This was a swell going across the goal upper 90 to the left top left corner to make it for two.
Then in the 59 it was Bruno Bruno Fernandez, the Portuguese star, on the free kick to make it 52 That would be the final.
Meanwhile, Lester took on Crystal Palace at the same time last year were up one new in the 77th minute.
Awful mistake in the back from soccer of Crystal Palace and a gifted opportunity for Leicester that was put home by Jamie Vardy to make it two nil.
Then, late in stoppage time of that second half, it would be Jamie Vardy with a second of the game as he would pick out his corner, a beautiful finish, one on one against the keeper, Lester finally back on the winning track, a three nil victory over Crystal Palace.
Then the game that happened just before this one.
It was wool versus ****nal in a good one for Amal, a new in the 43rd minute, one that strike.
It was from Booky Osaka to make it one nil in favor of the Gunners.
Then, in the 86th minute, ****nal would seal.
The deal was Alexander Lack is that off the post and in his first touch set him up.
The second touch found the back of the net ****nal with a big time victory over Wolves, there's still plenty of more primarily action.
Look forward to tomorrow at 7 a.
Eastern Simon's Burnley vs Sheffield at 9 15 Newcastle vs West Ham at 11 30.
Liverpool vs Aston Villa and that too it's Man City versus Southampton.
That was your Premier League update on back in a moment as we inch closer the second half action between Chelsea and Watford Live year on SportsCastr Hope you are enjoying the broadcast.
I'll be right back in a moment.
Stay tuned and hope you are having a wonderful fourth of July.
Welcome back, everybody.
Chelsea! Chicago fans loving what they saw in the first half.
Fans from across the United States, shooting in tow, watch their favorite primarily teams.
We'll see if Chelsea can close out for the victory in the second half.
That's coming your way next year on SportsCastr Chelsea to want for nil.
Stay tuned for that.
I'll be right back.
Hello, everybody! And welcome back.
We are ready for the second half between Chelsea and Watford.
It was Djourou in the 28th minute and William from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute.
Who has put Chelsea up two to nothing and has brought us to this point or midway through this one? The final 45 upon us Gotta have you all tuning in live on SportsCastr as we are about to witness the final 45 minutes of this one.
Nigel Pearson, the Watford manager, strolling on to this onto, uh along the sideline onto the bench Teoh a little late to get ready for the start.
The second half comeback back is going to be a very tough task, especially if Chelsea play as well in the second half as they did in the first half.
Anyways, the second half underway from Stamford Bridge in London, England.
A reminder of who's out there on the pitch.
No changes meant after Chelsea.
It's Kappa Azpilicueta Zuma Christiansen, James Mount Cont, A Barkley Pulisic along with Djourou and William.
So the same 11 out there for Chelsea that we saw in the starting lineup.
Remember, both teams get five substitution.
It's also the same 11.
For what? For its foster.
Dawson Kappas L A Mari apa Chalobah Kapu Hughes Ah Decor eight along with Sar Ah and Troy Deeney.
Alright, So that's what both teams look like here at the start of the second half.
Seimas what we saw at the start of the first half.
Christian Pulisic takes it down nicely along the sideline, Pulisic into the middle with William William, chips it out wide, taken down by Azpilicueta.
Now it's Mason Mount and go low.
Contact Conde over to Pulisic ballistic into the box.
He wants a shot of his own.
It gets one off in the end.
But over the bar it went.
It wasn't the worst decision from Pulisic. Teoh.
Go for the shot there.
I couldn't keep it down.
Maybe was leaning back quite a bit as well.
But we know he's got that ability to finish, even in tight spaces like that.
Ballistic, just such such a magical player.
The American has been impressing ever since you started off that doorman and especially since he's joined Chelsea as well.
When he's not injured and he's healthy, he really can provide good and performances on a consistent basis, which I think is really the key.
Consistency needs to be there to get to the top level, and as long as Christian Pulisic stays healthy, that consistency can be found.
It has been found, as we've seen.
Reminded that Kevin Friends, the referee, Graham Scott, is working the VR Room.
Surprisingly enough, VR hasn't been needed in this game so far.
It was needed, Uh, probably a dozen times in that man United Birdman's game.
Chelsea going from left to right in blue.
What for? Going from right to left in yellow and black, black and yellow is how I should phrase it sounds better is also a song, I think.
Or maybe I'm just dreaming Reese James into Azpilicueta.
Now it's Angola concert.
Who receives the past? Mount into the midfield.
Poke back by Barkley.
Mount sends it out.
Why Christian Pulisic has it for Chelsea.
Now it's Azpilicueta with the cross.
Will Hughes heads it away on the volley mount with power right off the head, though, of Christian Cava selling now Cava silly will send this one into midfield.
Conte wins the header.
Polis! It controls.
Zuma, you're is Andreas Christiansen.
As always, I appreciate you guys tuning and hope you're having a wonderful Fourth of July.
I know I've enjoyed my Fourth of July, especially with a special day of primitive reaction on this Fourth of July.
Christian Pulisic took a pretty heavy challenge there, and it's ah, actually gonna be deserving of a yellow card as well.
Yeah, that's just a That's just ah ah clear foul and yell guard there from Adrian Mariappa.
Just hacking Pulisic, quite frankly, right there.
And so yellow card given Chelsea players short on the free kick.
Here is Mason Mount on the ball.
Ross Barkley back to contact.
Taking down the midfield by Andreas Christiansen, Greece.
James holds up play five minutes in the second half.
Same score as it was at the half. Two nil.
Chelsea in the lead here is William Willing, into the feet of Mount Mount, gets by Dawson but eventually just lost his footing.
Gola contacted William Reese James into the middle with Contact willing to mount.
But the ball from Mount back to William was not what Mason that was looking for, and he was clearly frustrated with himself afterwards as well.
You could clearly see it in his body language.
Meanwhile, here is Kiko to Chalobah up.
He go plays it back, and now this ball is out of play for a Watford. Thrilling.
Why does the NHL won an 82 game season? I mean, you know, why wouldn't they? They wanna have, you know a full season if they can.
Plus more games means more money.
So I mean, that's really what they wanted.
Thanks for coming back on, though.
I appreciate that.
Two nil Chelsea here is Ross Barkley.
Here is contact.
Yeah, exactly. More money.
More games means more money, so it's probably why they want it.
Reese James James to Conte Watford Just holding a high line here in staying compact here trying to prevent Chelsea were getting any type of shot on goal.
It looks like it's paid off ERAs.
Watford came away with it in a foul called against Barkley.
Three. Kick for the Hornets.
Yeah, I want for are playing a very high line here.
In the early stages of the second half, I definitely realized that Dini's header taken down by Hughes Hughes with a square ball.
It's played just behind Troy Deeney, though.
If that pass has been in front of Jeannie, you might have had a legitimate shot on goal there and maybe would have cut the lead in half for Chelsea.
You're now is Mason Mount over to Angola.
Contact Christiansen, allied for William William Cuts in And here come Chelsea.
It's a great look, the right idea from William, but the through ball too far in front of Djourou and Foster is there the hurl it in? But you could you could see the intention There.
It was the right idea from William, By the way.
Willing is interesting, because just a few weeks ago, I thought Willing would be on his way out of Chelsea.
But ever since the restart of the Premier League, he's been He's been starting for Chelsea and he's been making an impact scoring goals, assisting as well.
I mean, he's absolutely lethal on Ah, free kicks and penalty kicks.
We see him score a penalty kick today, so I don't know, maybe willing will end up staying.
I really thought, you know, just a few weeks back that he would be on his way out, but now I have second thoughts about it, and I'm not so sure Chelsea might want to keep him, and he might want to stay.
Christensen over to James.
William goes back for Andreas Christensen, injured who people blows right by Hughes.
But it's a poor pass into the middle and right there to pick it up was at sea and Kapu? It's disgusting that Byron One.
Yeah, and I'm not surprised, though.
Yeah, what was 4 to 2 42 was the final, that one against level accusing that ended about 15 minutes ago.
And yup, Bayern.
Well, they're still Byron and they keep on winning.
I believe that's their 20th German Cup, actually, but it took me eight.
Here is Mason Mount Mount into Christian Pulisic Pulisic back to Mount Mount with the cross.
Taru was lurking there, but it's a great sliding challenge to break it up from Craig Dawson in the corner kick coming up for Chelsea.
55th minute live here on SportsCastr Oh, what a chance there, Chelsea Just linking up so nicely.
It was politic to Mount Mount looking for Djourou.
But the attack isn't done yet for Chelsea Watford.
Still with some work to do as a corner kick is upcoming Willian right into the hands though of Foster.
If he could do it over again, he like Teoh.
That wasn't quite the delivery he was looking for On the corner kick.
This throw is allied for Kiko.
You go into the feet of Koppu possession 71 to 29% in favor of Chelsea.
The shots, 13 3 in the shots on goal, 51 Everything points to Chelsea dominating this game, and that's because it is exactly the case.
They have been dominating this game, deserving to new lead 57 minutes in.
Let's look over the willing, willing finds Azpilicueta.
Now it's Barclay, Barclay to Djourou, a little too tight there at the edge of the 18 for Chelsea.
They need to spread out and Azpilicueta sends that pass straight out of play.
And now let's see our first substitution of the second half.
And it's maybe it's a familiar face, but maybe have for gotten face.
That's Danny Welbeck, the former ****nal man who will come on for Watford.
You may, you guys tuning and may remember, if you're a Premier League fan.
Ah, especially ****nal fan.
You may remember well, back injuries have really, uh, unfortunately ah hurt his career, but good to see him get some playing time.
Here he comes in for a T and Kapu first change of the game from either side, so Nigel Pearson decides to go with some fresh legs up top.
We'll see if it will pay off.
Throwing up the sideline and Chelsea throwing is the war that look what to takes it back to four. Kurt Zouma.
Zoom across the back for Andreas Christensen.
Christenson holds up play.
Now it's out wide for Reese.
James Christensen across four Azpilicueta.
Now we'll switch back to the other side.
Kristen sent out wide, and it's James who controls Christians in tried to thread it out.
Now gets it to William willing, with the burst of speed willing cruising his way through Djourou's On the end of it, It's a big time save from Ben Foster.
Foster comes up big for Watford, but a corner kick once again for the Blues Corner's been ticking quickly.
Chelsea decide to play it short.
You're now is in Gola. Contact.
Ah, wide for Reese James.
Now it's Ross Barkley well, in looking for a run to be made into the penalty area, but no one does, but he wins it back.
Thanks everyone for tuning in here on this Saturday afternoon Live on SportsCastr.
This is the Premier League.
Here is Reese James, with for Chelsea James trying to play it out wide for Mason Mount taking away, though like ego.
Can't wait to meet your favorite commission.
What? Who is that? The NFL commissioner? Cool.
Yeah, we are at the hour mark.
60 minutes in half on our left, Chelsea to what? For nil.
2/3 through this game.
And will Watford make things interesting with a goal? Or will Chelsea seal the deal with the goal of their own? Because you have to think another goal for Chelsea and it's a done deal, no matter how much time is left at this point.
Here is William the feet of Barkley, given away to Hughes.
Chalobah gave it away.
Watch for just having trouble holding onto the ball and, most importantly, getting out of the getting the ball out of their half of the field.
Ross Barkley has it for Chelsea.
One of the final 30 minutes.
URAS Christian Pulisic ballistic back for content and lot for just can't even they're applying pressure, but they can't come away with the ball.
The possession, just dominated by Chelsea now Mount find himself trapped in the corner, somehow gets out of it.
Too willing willing, with a little flick back to assess our Azpilicueta.
It's a good ball in Libya.
Djourou controls heads it back for Barkley but it wasn't quite two Barkley.
In the end, Watford looked to clear but it's back into the feet of Kurt Zouma.
Chelsea, just nonstop applying pressure and maintaining possession as well as content, now finds Zuma.
Zuma has space and he takes it.
So what? A Mason mount! It's too Azpilicueta now willing.
Down the left hand side will into the box and a left footed volley by Giroux is blocked back to contact.
Conte will have a go from way out once again blocked Chelsea, though not giving up one bit.
They keep applying the pressure here, looking for gold number three.
Now it's William willing to ask Quetta 12 with Ross Barkley back for Zuma, across for Christian sent Watford.
It definitely seems like the fatigue is starting to kick in and now we'll have a stop inch and not surprisingly, as I say that Watford make a double substitution.
I mean, they got against some fresh legs out there.
Chelsea are just making them a run around like it's Ah like it's there at the park, playing tag.
I mean Watford or just losing their breath at this point, just chasing the ball around Chelsea, making it look like a training session out there.
So a 64th minute change from Nigel Pearson? A double change at that? That will be it for Troy Deeney.
Disappointing night for the captain of Watford so well back will now go into an attacking position with that double change being made.
Tom Cleverley has come in By the way, Messina has come on for Keigo Markley with the cross that was steered wide, Cleverley was the one who came on for Troy, Jeannie, and so Chelsea haven't even used a substitution left.
And why? Why would Frank Lampard make a change at this point? I mean, everything's going right for Chelsea, but it's a two nil scoreline still, So you don't wanna take out your starters quite yet because the game isn't wrapped up yet.
If they get that third goal, then yes, Frank Lampard has will have the ability to make some changes and, you know, get his starters often with, of course, their always being the risk of an injury being picked up.
You don't want in a game where your ah, in cruise control.
You don't want injuries to be a problem for your starting players, especially in cir***stances like that.
But they they still need that third goal.
I think before Franklin Part will be comfortable with taking his starters out.
The Eagles play the Crows on Friday.
Okay, 4th 4 straight weeks without W.
You could make it 1/5 this Friday.
So throwing coming up.
66 minute Live on SportsCastr, the final game of what's been a very fun day of Premier League action in 8 p.m.
Kick off from England.
It's now 9 25 in England.
Queues two caliber Saliba.
We'll switch Fields can well, that keep it imply.
Reese James closing in.
Now it's back out with Messina Messina with a left footed cross.
Chelsea now in control.
William has options.
He decides to go back as we approach the second half water break.
I want to know the possession stats just for the second half.
I mean, it must be at least 80 20.
It's been that lopsided.
Chelsea is still searching for their first goal of the second half, though we'll see if they can get it here.
Still 1/4 of this game remaining Azuma now gets it to the feet of Mason Mount.
You're isn't Gola contact to Kurt Zouma.
Zoom across the back for Christian sent Christian Pulisic, now ballistic to Barkley.
Ross Barkley already has an assist on the night.
Goes out wide for William William.
Trying to make space goes for goal, and it's a big time save from Ben Foster.
Foster had to get down quickly to make that safe.
It was able to make the stop in the end, willing, and had a good look going for that far post trying to curl it in.
It is a corner kick for Chelsea here at the midway point of the second half.
Willing will take the corner kick, and it will be a right footed outswinger scented in the 18 yard box.
It's a good delivery that had her download from Zuma and Foster down to get it, though once again nicely done by the Watford keeper who will win the Eagles across any game, any game.
I'm gonna go against that.
The crows are involved and I have to say that the other team will win.
So definitely definitely going with the Eagles on that one.
Because from what I've heard, the crows are, you know, a really bad team in the A f l.
I gotta go with the The Eagles on that one.
And I know you're an Eagles fan, Von So that will make you happy, but they should be the worst team.
So Olivier Giroud taken out also.
Ah, ball was kicked out his head afterwards.
Do That's not too pleasant in the aftermath.
Djourou's down in a perfect time for the second half water break.
And that's what takes place right now.
The back of his left leg is what's the issue for a jury? Let's see the replay here of what? Oh, yeah, that collision right there is what's knocked him.
All right. Saru will stretch it out.
Looks it appears as though he's gonna be able to continue.
But keep in mind, Frank Land part.
Still, it's all five.
Substitution is left, so he has the ability to take throughout if he wants to.
Reus scored the opening goal of this game, just recapping how we got to this point.
Then, late in the first apple, Issyk was taken out in the box, willing, converted from the spot.
That's what has is that this two nil scoreline that we are currently at in favor of Chelsea.
And so both teams back out there ready to go for the final 20 or so minutes.
And so here we go.
Free kick for Chelsea.
Lovey Giroux stays out there.
Tammy Abraham is warming up on the Chelsea sideline.
I'm sure we'll see him come in very shortly.
He started against West Ham mid week, but back on the bench tonight Yeah, the possession overall in this game is 73 to 27%.
The shots are 18 of three.
Chelsea The shots on goal 81 I mean, the statistics got more more lopsided by the minute.
It feels like this makes its way through the Pulisic.
Holistic into the box.
Lays it off for Mount and policy got tangled up there and the flag has gone up for offsides.
Offsides is the call free kick for watch for Do I know that on YouTube they're showing Korean men's golf tonight over.
Really now? I had no idea.
Well, That's impressive How you found that out.
Andreas Christiansen comes in tow.
Send that one away across was a good one.
Well, back was in the area.
Trying to get on the end of it is a rare corner kick for Watford here.
We've been usedto plenty of Chelsea corner kicks, but not any want for corner kicks.
Here is a chance on a rare set piece for the Hornets.
Will Hughes to take a left footed insulin.
Ercan Watford! Cut the deficit! Cut the lead! I should say in half doesn't look like it.
Kurt Zouma heads it away.
Willing and back for Azpilicueta He goes up the sideline.
Al has been actually called.
Apparently Frank Lampard.
It prepares to make some changes.
Ruben Loftus Cheek and Callum Hudson.
The Doi will come in.
Zuma does well the shield that one away from the oncoming is May Lesar.
It will be a throwing right near the corner flag of Chelsea.
Azpilicueta will go down the sideline here.
What for? Now have it.
Here is Messina Messina from way out! Couple controls off the bounce! I had some movement on it from Messina.
The decent look, but Watford remain off the board here, still searching for that first goal of the game.
Do I watch the W League now? Not not now.
I don't I mean, once in a while, Maybe, but not normally.
I don't watch the W leak, not on a normal basis.
Now and now here comes that triple substitution.
It's Loftis Cheek, Hudson and Joy and Abraham all coming in for the Blues.
Do you want to know what the W League is? Yeah, it's the the Australian Women's Soccer League, right? I know.
ESPN plus shows some other games.
Um, so that's where I have seen it once in a while.
A good free kick sent in.
Dawson is shouting for 1/4 kick, but it's not given here.
Or maybe it was.
Now a goal kick was given.
And here comes that triple substitution.
Let's see if I can keep track of all of them.
Yeah, I watched a couple of W League games on ESPN, plus, not a lot alright, Olivia Djourou will be coming off for Chelsea will be one of them coming off Mason Mount.
Another solid performance from both Djourou and Mount Willian also comes off.
So those are the three coming off.
I've already told you the three coming on now.
I just need to keep track of all of it in my notes here under 15 to go here on SportsCastr between Chelsea And what for? Here is Barkley with it? Barclays fouled, but Hughes a free kick given the Chelsea.
Once again, folks were all be tuning in a reminder.
Four days until the MLS is back, tournament gets under way.
You have no idea how mix how excited I am for it.
Tuesday night will be like Christmas Eve for May.
I cannot wait for the return of MLS thoughts on Ben Branstad.
I know that's an NFL player.
I've heard you bring him up before, but I don't know.
I don't I'm assuming he's a really good player, but I don't know his stats, so I cannot answer that.
Content, meanwhile, is down for Chelsea.
This is a little bit of a concerning sign here.
Frank Lampard will make another change.
Will be Billy Gilmour, who will come in another youngster on this Chelsea team content forced to come off here maybe as a cramp.
Hopefully nothing more than it So Gilmore comes in content comes off 47 in for seven.
Feel more started in the F A Cup quarter files against Leicester.
It was a disappointing 45 minutes from Gilmore, who was subbed off at the half.
But for a young player like him, you know it's okay.
He's even though he had a rough performance in the first half and had to be taken off at the half.
I mean, that's gonna happen for a player that so young.
I believe he's just 18 years of age still, so it will take time before you know he will.
I think he will become a regular starter for Chelsea down the road in a year or two.
But you know, if you get some opportunities here off the bench gets a minutes under his belt.
You will get better, that's for sure.
Thank you, Isaac, for a joint in the broadcast.
What's going on? Isaac.
Happy Fourth of July.
It's been a great Fourth of July with primary league action throughout.
This is the last game of the day, and my favorite team in the Premier League is Chelsea and they're up two nil here over Watford in the 79th minute here issues that through ball was blocked.
You just came in here to save by.
Okay, then let you come.
Well, I appreciate you stopping by.
Why do you hate soccer so much? Commentate baseball.
There's no baseball.
The comments a Isaac.
What do you mean, commentate? Baseball? 79th minute.
A free kick given Ross Barkley called for the foul.
I know, I know. You're joking.
What's my favorite team in the W League? I don't have a favorite w league team, to be honest with you, uh, on.
Um, yeah, I I don't have a favorite Selby league team.
I thought the league a little bit, but I love a favorite team.
Idiot. Many here.
Free kick for watch for is a good opportunity here on the free kick.
Back off left footed strike around the wall.
But not enough power generated.
And Kepa had the near post covered.
It was Messina with the strike.
No, I don't know.
I don't know who he is personally, but I know I know Vons.
You know a normal person.
Well, no, I have I have seen what he posted a video on on his instagram.
So I've I've seen him before.
He's not an FBI agent.
I can guarantee you that.
Yeah, Billy Gilmour hasn't stolen January with a chance to the foreign.
Poses a big time, say from Kepa Arreaza.
Great job by Kepa Going down and getting a left hand of that one.
But Watford finally improving its too late, you have to think.
But that's that's a better from Watford here in the late stages, we're using playoff predictor dot com for the talk show.
Okay, the possession.
06 The shots on goal.
Eight to it's all Chelsea in this one.
But what for? Did have the best chance of the game about it minutes ago.
It's balk looped in over the top.
Kept is there Yeah, terrific.
Save from Keppel right there, Looking back on the replay.
Well, that had a good look.
You went across his body going for the right footed strike to the far post.
Cap it down to make the play, though nicely done by the Spanish goalkeeper.
Chelsea picked up from Athletic Bilbao after Thibault Courtois left Chelsea for Real Madrid.
You want to watch the W League? Yeah, it's It's a pretty good league.
It's the second best woman soccer league in the world, I think.
I mean, the woman's primarily gets actually becoming a good league.
But I still think the W League is the second best ah woman soccer league in the world behind the Nwsl.
So yeah, some players, like from Australia that play in the nwsl during the off season.
They also play for a W League team, too.
Um, which is kind of crazy to think about because they have different calendars.
So they are able to do that playing on two different club teams.
And now Watford will make their know their fourth substitution of the game, not their final one.
And we will see is Mehlis are coming off.
So sorry comes off for Watford and coming on it will be, I believe that's Roberto Pereira.
I'm not mistaking.
I'll get confirmation on that in a moment.
Yeah, it is Pereira.
Yep, that's when I thought is the 100th appearance actually tonight for Watford here as he comes on in the 83rd minute, as time runs out for a walk for to try to make a comeback here.
How all of us are doing game by game predictions for all 32 teams. Geez.
If we explained each game, we'd probably be there all day, So yeah, that's a good idea.
I only explained the good games exactly.
Or else we'd be there all day long.
Yeah, That sounds like a good plan.
Ross Barkley back for Loftus Cheek.
Get out of there with that.
The Dolphins are beating the Patriots.
No, I mean, they could split, but I have the Patriots winning both games against the Dolphins.
So there's a spoiler alert for some of my Patriots predictions.
No, I don't have them just because of a patriots.
Even if I wasn't a Patriots fan, I'd still have that.
I'd still have the Patriots winning both games against the Dolphins.
I don't think the dolphins air that good of a team tomorrow at two Eastern time.
We'll see Manchester City face Southampton.
I know the Dolphins beat the Patriots last year.
How? It you know, that was a one time embarrassment.
So here's Pulisic.
You shove from behind.
Nothing in it, says the referee.
And so we play on.
I thought he won his side.
Another penalty kick.
The American Christian Pulisic.
Such a handful in the box.
And I don't know.
Let's see the replay.
That looks like a penalty.
Did you get tripped down low.
You might get got stepped on.
I don't know if there was enough in it, all right? I mean, we can have different opinions. That's fine.
Uh, I'm not saying you have to agree with me by any means, So VR is being utilized for the first time tonight.
It's a quick check, though.
No penalty given a throwing ah will be the case instead as we play on.
So not enough in it.
I mean, it could have been called, but there wasn't a whole lot in it.
So, you know, it wasn't a clear and obvious error is basically what I'm getting at.
So I think we are did a nice job and not overturning decision.
Here comes Pulisic.
Meanwhile, closing in in the way, though, was Craig Dawson.
He sends this one towards midfield, and now it's controlled by Reese James.
Thoughts on Luke Shuey.
Is that another NFL player? Because I don't know who that is fun.
So I can't have any thoughts about someone I don't know. Sorry.
Two Red Sox players have tested positive.
Yeah, it was two pictures.
It was I think it was calling McEwan Darwin's and Hernandez.
If I'm not mistaken, no, they will recover in time for the season.
I mean, you get over the virus and like, a week or two, so are I mean, even with those two guys, it's not gonna change much.
I know. I know our pitching's gonna be trash.
I already know that my thoughts on Louise Saurus I mean, he's a great talent, but also a knucklehead.
I mean, I acknowledge what a great player he is.
I'd love to have Louise sore is on my team.
But then he has those moments where he just randomly bites people.
So that can happen to Yeah, Kimbrel was bad last year.
Yeah, he waas Yeah.
I mean, Kimbrel was he was a really good reliever for the Red Sox.
But in that playoff run for the Red Sox, he actually wasn't great When the Red Sox won the World Series.
He almost blew a couple of games.
I remember against the Yankees in particular.
Oh, great service to the back post, but the headers wide.
It could have been three for the Blues.
It was Ruben Loftus Cheek, the substitute with the chance.
Want a delivery from the right back? Reese. James.
What could have been there for Chelsea off the Sheikh really should've done better with it.
Maybe was a little under hit from James.
In fact, Loftus Cheek kind of had the go back to get to that ball.
Yeah, it was played a little bit behind him, but he was wide open making that run to the back post.
She has been a while since the Marlins of, Ah, at a good relief pitcher.
That will definitely help them out for sure.
A league player.
I don't even know who's in the A league right now.
I know Tim Cahill retired.
I don't know who is the best player in the A league, By the way, Chelsea's upcoming probably pictures on Tuesday, they'll be at Crystal Palace for Watford.
They'll also play on Tuesday home against Norwich that should be a livable game for Watford, a Norwich team who's really kind of given up at this point.
It seems like crazy scenes against Brighton this morning, where the players just wouldn't leave the pitch.
Some guys like Tim closer.
He was just talking to himself.
It's really gotten that bad at Norwich.
Yeah, that's right.
Ruben Loftus Cheek hasn't played in the whole year.
Good to see him. Come on the pitch.
He, of course, tours a C l in that friendly against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium.
Um, I didn't go to that game, but that would That would have been cool if I got to go.
I I know a couple of friends who went to that game between Chelsea and the Revolution in a friendly last summer, but you hated to see in a in a friendly game for ah Loftus Cheek Teoh to suffer horrific injury like that.
But he's back on the pitch, which is great to see.
Let's see what we got here.
Oh, yours Azpilicueta politics.
There the shot is blocked.
What? With an opportunity there for the American, it would be great to see Captain America score on America's birthday.
I'm still wishing for that to happen.
Let's see a Christian Pulisic together Goal late on.
We approach stoppage time in this one.
Up and down action The final stages.
Chelsea to want for nil. The score line.
Ah Contra will be Opening Day starter.
Yeah, Yeah, He wasn't all start. It's true.
Yeah, I had a few shut out shut outs last year.
Yep. This is along the byline.
Somehow Welbeck stepped in and in some at Watford haven't scored.
Oh, man, It was Will Hughes in the six yard box and somehow some way Chelsea have cleared the way.
Let's see the replay. This one.
How on earth did well that keep this ball in play? Well, he did that Will never went out.
And then Oh, man, Will Hughes was right there in the area trying the slot at home.
But yeah, Chelsea just had enough numbers back and I think it was Kurt Zouma.
Gotta like to it just send it wide.
And what's even more baffling is I think a goal kick has been awarded so clearly missed their by Kevin Friend.
The referee has been solid overall in the night but a missed ah miscall.
There are a missed non call, I should say four minutes of stoppage time.
So four more minutes and this Saturday of Premier League action will be in the books.
Here is Pulisic. You can tell he wants to go himself.
Instead, he looks lied trying to find Callum Hudson a toy not able to do so.
Billy Gilmour keeps it alive.
Now it's Ruben Loftus.
Cheek off his cheek.
Spins around, finds Pulisic.
Pulisic lays it off, Is a good square ball.
Ross Barkleys There any fires at home go Chelsea.
It's Ross Barkley who secures the three points for Chelsea and absolute cannon as that left footed strike was in the back of the net Before you could even blink in Foster and absolutely no chance of getting a state getting a touch on that one.
No one was even really closing in on Barkley.
He had time to take a touch and fire at home.
Ah, left footed strike and a powerful statement finished to the near post.
Barkley scores again for Chelsea.
He's been on a run scoring goals.
It's Chelsea three, Watford no, in stoppage time, And that will put Chelsea back in front of Man United and back in new into a Champions League spot.
We'll go one point.
You Watford Meanwhile well, the battle at the bottom of the table in the battle to stay alive for Watford rolls on there.
Just one place above the relegation zone.
News final five games this season will be absolutely crucial for them.
Every single one of them.
So Barclay and the second in stoppage time.
That's Natalie's first goal in the Premier League this season.
He scored last week in the ethic up first of the primary season.
I'm actually a little bit surprised there.
What do we got for breaking news here? Oh, David Price's opted out.
I'm not surprised.
I'm not surprised.
That sounds David Price ish.
Yeah, I'm not surprised, actually.
Yeah, that is funny.
I'm not surprised that David Price opted out that e.
I dealt with them here in Boston, and you know, I'm not surprised.
One bit about nice move by the Red Sox.
They got rid of him.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
There were talks about the Red Sox.
Yeah, I don't I don't know what the whole job.
Yeah, there was.
I think I think, um I don't know if it was the Red Sox who were going to get shocked, Peterson, but yeah, it looks like Jock Pearson was gonna be on the move, but that trade never went through.
I forget I forget if it was the Red Sox who were going to get him or not.
But yeah, I I remember there was something There was something that that didn't go through with John Pearson did seem to be on his way out, but he ended up staying.
Yeah, Messina is there for Watford.
And surely the final whistle will come any second now.
All eyes on Kevin friend.
Maybe a consolation goal coming up for Watford.
That won't be The case is Danny Welbeck is in an offside position.
There is the final whistle.
It's all over. Chelsea.
Three nil over Watford and the take.
We take a look at the updated top six positions in the Primer League table.
Chelsea, as I mentioned, move up to fourth on 57 points.
I meant to say two points clear, Man United.
They were one point behind them heading in.
They now go to clear a man united on 57 Watford.
They remain in 17th on 28 but the team right below them Aston Villa still have to play tomorrow.
And so if Aston Villa win tomorrow, which is probably unlikely they are playing Liverpool tomorrow.
But if they did get a victory, Watford would be down in the relegation zone.
Yeah, Hollande, is that God? Indeed, Von And before I wrap up the broadcast, a man of the match.
It has to be well, I don't know who you you'd give them and the master, I would tend to go towards Ross Barkley.
That last goal was brilliant from him.
Left footed strike top corner, he had the assist on the first school to Yeah, I go with Barkley for my man of the match before I sign off.
Let's look ahead to tomorrow's primarily action.
What a jam packed day it is once again at 7 a.
Eastern, it's Burnley vs Sheffield United at 9 15 Newcastle vs West Ham on 11 30 it's Liverpool vs Aston Villa and then at two, it's Manchester City versus Southampton.
Well, that will do it for my broadcast, folks.
The final score.
Chelsea three Watt for nil.
A deserving in dominating victory for Chelsea.
As they get back on the winning track and they're back into a Champions League spot, I will see you next time.
Everybody enjoy the rest of your stategy.
I'll be back tomorrow to Eastern for Man City. Southampton.
Hope to see you then Enjoy the rest of your Fourth of July so long.
