Hi, I'm Matt Williamson here to give you my state of the Kansas City Chiefs address.
Well, the Chiefs are the Super Bowl champions and have the most prized commodity in the entire league in Patrick Mahomes, teams with an elite coach in Andy Reid and, frankly, an embarrassment of riches on the offensive side of the ball around the homes.
Pretty good start for continued dominance and chief sure have that.
This is obviously a team without a lot of holes or question marks, so this video might be a little shorter than other teams have done.
And even more obvious, the chief's great strengths are just utterly apparent to pretty much anyone who knows anything about football such in the office I the ball.
This defense does have some areas of concern, though.
The second level the true linebackers to me or well below average and the cornerback play overall is middle of the road at best.
Kansas City And get away with these issues, though, because the defense creates its share of big plays and, of course, from homes and the offense make up for all kinds of steaks.
But the defense does allow a lot of points early in games.
The offense is ridiculously talented, and now, added Clyde Edwards, a layer to the equation.
Edward Celera could make a big impact as a rookie.
On average, Kansas City scored 17.
2 points in the first half of games and went in the half time with an average lead of 6.
8 points. It's amazing.
Out of a 60 minute game, the Chiefs, on average, held the lead, held the lead for a whopping 37 minutes and 23 seconds of playing time last year.
Think about that.
A few things that might not be obvious by candidacy.
Last year's they played one of the toughest schedules in the league when it was all said and done, as well as a very difficult schedule of opposing offenses.
The Chiefs are also one of the best teams in the NFL on special teams as well is racking up 20 more sacks and they allow, which is one of the best sack differentials and leak.
No reason to think that can't keep up next year as well.
I see the Chiefs as the best in the league, which really should come as no surprise.
I'm Matt Williamson with your barker.
