Hello, everybody, and welcome into the broadcast.
I am Samuel Res coming to You Live here on SportsCastr.
It's a triple header of F A Cup quarterfinal action in a kicks off with the first game between Sheffield United and ****nal.
It should be a good one.
Let's get right into the starting lineups first for Sheffield United Ingle.
It will be Henderson in the back.
Basham, Egan and Robinson in the midfield.
Bal****, lunchroom, Norwood, Fleck and Stevens.
And then up top.
It's McGoldrick and McBurney.
Meanwhile, for the visitors in ****nal, the Gunners will go out with Martinez in goal.
That at the back it will be Tierney.
Maitland Niles, Mustafi, Louise and tyranny in the midfield.
It'll be Giaka will look in class a notch.
And then up top will be Pepe, Lacazette and Sakka.
That will be the ****nal lineup tonight.
All right, we're just about ready to get this one started.
Thank you, everyone, for tuning into the broadcast.
This is the second quarter final of the weekend in the F A Cup and it comes to you from Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England.
A beautiful afternoon in England.
It will be a 1 p.m.
Local time kick off the winner, punching their ticket into the semi finals in three weeks time.
And in the first quarter final, it was actually a very good game.
Manchester United just barely squeaking past Norwich City.
It took in 118th minute goal from Harry Maguire to get the Reds to get the Red Devils through.
It was, um, again, that man, you know, you were the better side, but Norwich stuck in there even with the red card.
And, ah, extra time was needed.
And it looked like for a moment it was going to go to penalty kicks.
Butt Man United made sure that wasn't the case.
We'll see what we have in store for this one between ****nal and Sheffield United.
And before we kick off this one, there will be a moment of silence to honor all of those victims of the Corona virus.
Thank you, Jim, for joining the broadcast.
And I will step aside as the moment of silence takes place in a moment, obviously many losing their lives from the Corona virus.
And so here comes the moment of silence.
All right, well, they've been doing a moment of silence sometimes, and ah, moment of in, ah, moment of applause.
This time it was actually a moment of applause honoring those who lost their lives due to the Corona virus.
And now we're ready to kick things on.
****nal in their away yellow jerseys going left to right, Sheffield in their home, white and red stripes going right to left.
Well, it's two teams who have struggled since the return of the Premier League, as both teams will now take a knee in solidarity with the black lives matter movement.
And then we'll kick things off.
Alexander Lack is that at the center of it all, he's ready to kick things off and we're ready to get the game started.
Sheffield United, who are higher in the Premier League table than ****nal of both teams, have had a rough restart, but they can get back on track with an F A Cup quarterfinal win.
There should be a good one.
I really do think it will be interesting decision by Mikael Arteta to put David Louise in the starting lineup.
Of course, Louise had that awful game against Manchester City about a week and 1/2 ago.
This is the first game back since then.
They actually re signed him a few days after that atrocious outing against Man City, which was a very interesting decision.
But he's at centre back today, so ****nal have to hope that there's no mistakes from him on the day.
Faulty any, By the way, is the referee glad to have you all here on this Sunday morning? The two quarterfinals toe follow after this game will include Chelsea vs Leicester City in Manchester City versus Newcastle.
Both of those games will be on ESPN, plus this game taking place on regular ESPN.
That's why I am able to commentate it for you guys, although especially that Chelsea Lester game that should be another great game.
And who knows? Maybe Newcastle will pose a threat to Man City.
We saw Norwich cause issues for Man United yesterday.
This is what's so good about the F A Cup.
It's one off affairs and you never know what's gonna happen on any given day.
By the way, Dean Henderson, uh the Sheffield United goalkeeper on loan from Man United.
There's been a lot of rumors as to questions as to whether he? When is he going to make the move to man United? When our man united gonna make him the starter over Dahiya.
I think it may be another year we could see that be a real possibility.
Henderson actually wearing a hat for this game.
The sun was shining down, kick off, but the clouds have covered it up a little bit.
No surprise here as David Louise commits the foul two minutes in, It's a Sheffield United free kick.
There will be a draw for the semi finals after this weekend.
It's the competition is not bracketed.
This is a good looking ball, just a little too much on it.
John Egan was in the area, but a good idea nonetheless from McBurney on the set piece.
And, yeah, Egan was onside, and it was definitely a good option for Bernie to try to find, to try to find, um, excuse me, John Egan at the back post.
John Egan, actually the center back for Sheffield United.
You was all the way up there on the free kick.
Here now is Henderson.
It's a good head or one in the air by Jack up.
Now it's Nikolas Puppet who had that wonder goal against Brighton, but only for ****nal to surrender their lead and lose in the 94th minute or 95th minute, I think, is when Brighton got the game winner in that one.
That was last weekend in the Premier League.
****nal did get back on track midweek with a one nil victory are two nil, two nil over South Hampton.
Here is Pepe happen out into the midfield with Giaka.
The Swiss will find colossal match cost a notch all the way out wide and too heavy of a touch from the left back here in Tierney.
And it's a Sheffield throwing Keuren Tierney, one of the one of the few players on this ****nal team who I actually figures a pretty good player.
I mean, injuries have affected him, but I think he if he if he doesn't if he doesn't get injured as often as he has, then he could, Um, he really has potential, I do think.
Meanwhile, Mustafi and Louise, who are who make up the rest of that back line for ****nal I'm not too confident about.
Here's David Louise.
Thank you for joining the broadcast.
Sarah, glad to have you on board here on SportsCastr.
We're five minutes in.
No score from Sheffield.
A nice afternoon in England across the pond, but triple header of F A Cup quarter 1/4 final action.
This is the 1st 1 of the day.
Eastern, it's Chelsea vs Leicester than at 1 30 It's Man City against Newcastle, he's now.
The lack is that it's not the best of passes and Sheffield takeover, but this is a risky back past.
Not much under it, but Dean Henderson offers lying toe.
Send it all the way from end to end.
Its going to goalie as Emilie Emilie Ana Martinez is there for ****nal.
Martinez will be the starter for the foreseeable future for the Gunners.
After, um, burnt.
Leno sustained that injury.
Nasty looking injury against Brighton and he might be out for the rest of the season.
Will have to wait and see about that.
Tokyo Osaka, taken down by Jon Lindstrom, will be a free kick for the Gunners and for ****nal.
I mean one of the 11 points behind fourth place, so even Europa League will be a tough task for them to Ah to get into a European place.
I mean, I'm not saying it's not gonna happen.
They could turn around, but it's gonna be tough.
So they've got to really focus on this on that make up.
I think if they want to win a trophy this season because they lost to Olympiakos in the Europa League as well, and that was a good looking chance there for Sheffield United, it wasn't too far wide as Jack Robinson was looking that bend that one into the far post.
The original through ball was indeed on Sheffield getting numbers up.
And, yeah, it was always going to be tough for Robinson.
He decided to go with his left foot, but it did take a deflection on the way, and it's our first corner kick of the game at the eight minute mark.
Here is the left foot and cross.
McBurney was in the area.
It makes its way all the way through to Stevens and he blasts that went off of Javid Louise and it will be another corner kick this time.
From the near side, it'll be Oliver Norwood to take this corner kick.
Thank you, everyone for tuning into the broadcast.
It's a good corner.
Far post the headers end school John Lundstrom has headed in.
He was standing at about the goal line. ****nal.
I had no one there to clear the way in Sheffield strike first inside of 10 minutes and it's the home team won ****nal nil.
Let's see the replay here.
Who was he on, though? Is the question.
It was definitely close.
There were a lot of bodies in the area and let's see the replay of this one.
Yeah, I was just heading across by McBirney and might have taken deflection towards that back post in lunch room was there to put it home.
It is being checked in the VR room right now for a possible offsides.
It was definitely close.
They are checking the goal for possible offside.
Sheffield fans holding their breath right now.
And yeah, he looks to be off.
This is most likely going to come back if the technology is right.
Yeah, he's clearly on in an offside position there.
But then the question is, if it took a deflection, what's the case with that? Because we've had a lot of controversy about that, but it is offsides As I said, the goal is called off.
Take the one off the board.
It remains nil nil.
No gold for Sheffield as it was John Lunchroom who was in an offside position, and ****nal get off the hook there.
We'll see how they respond now.
But even though the golden stand, it's a pretty good start to the game for Sheffield, who been on the front foot here is will IQ.
Yeah, the kid, true and quite find Pepe Awad and said they'll take it to the other side ****nal in a 352 formation.
And I don't know if that's the best formation for ****nal personally.
For me, Kill are tested to put out Um, just three at the back really worries me for ****nal.
I mean, we'll see how it plays out this afternoon, but Louise and Mustafi, I think, are just bad defenders.
Journey is the only one I can trust for ****nal at the back.
McGoldrick wins the throw and it's quickly taken into the feet of Jack Robinson, but it's taken over by Nikolas Pepe.
Thank you, Liz, for joining the broadcast on the Sunday morning here in the States Sunday afternoon in England for this one.
No score 11 minutes in this ball cannot be controlled by Alexandre Lacazette.
Jab Louise comes up to win the header.
We're 12 minutes and it's Sheffield United Nil ****nal Nil.
Who here is Sokka looking for the through ball, threading the needle there.
But Sheffield were in the way and then we're stopping, trying to get a touch away from McGoldrick.
But it was too far away and now it's a throwing for the home side.
Nikolas Pepe for ****nal was actually a record signing for the club and it has not paid off.
As they would have hoped he took so long.
The score is first.
Primarily Golan has just been so underwhelming for the Gunners.
But maybe that go.
That wonder goal against Brighton will give him some confidence.
You're going forward.
This is towards the back post trickling its way through.
But McGoldrick couldn't get on the end of it.
It will be off of ****nal.
Or will it? No, Actually, it looks like it is off of Sheffield United for a goal kick.
Let's see the replay.
Yeah, was off the head of guests who once again Oliver McBurney trying to find McGoldrick towards that back post.
He was so, so close McGoldrick from putting that one in, making that run towards the back post, but just a second behind in the end, and it results in a goal kick.
It's a good ball in, but will it is there for the Blades and now the referee will move the throwing back of it.
Go drawn Mustafi to take avid Louise plays it across the back. Four.
Thank you, everyone, for being a part of the broadcast is the F A Cup quarterfinals live on SportsCastr.
Here now is Mustafi at the edge of the 18 lock.
Is that out wide for pep it that they trying to get onto his favorable left foot.
Instead, you'll send it towards the corner flag for Ainsley Matan.
First time I've said his name tonight or this afternoon, I should say so.
It's all the way back with Mustafi ****nal.
We'll reset across the back.
Milly Ana Martinez.
It's Lynge, Skoda Ron Mustafi.
About 1/4 of an hour in no score from Sheffield, England.
Shock up laser that wide for Joe will look will look to Shaka.
It's a nice one. Touch passes.
The pressure was coming but lack a set with too much pressure around, and he surrenders.
Now it's Sheffield looking to get a counterattack going.
It's playing to the middle by McBurney.
McGoldrick couldn't fight the defender off, and it's nice tracking back by Maitland Niles to win it back for the Gunners off this weekend.
An F A Cup weekend, all 4/4 finals taking place over the course of yesterday and today.
Therefore only three Premier League games taking place over this weekend.
But all of the other seven games, which included teams that are playing in this weekend's F A Cup quarterfinals they will, um, they will take part in their Primera League encounters midweek, whereas the ah six teams who played there primarily games this weekend will have the middle of the week off.
So, really, it's it's ah more congested for teams that are in the F A Cup.
Even though the teams who aren't have to play the primarily games this weekend, they'll still get the middle of the week offer as the teams playing in the F A Cup quarterfinals have their primarily games in the middle of the week that passed Taking Away By and the Stevens.
It's a poor first touch from McGoldrick.
He's not able to keep it in.
And, yeah, Chris Wilder, the manager.
Sheffield United, has done such a great job with this team this season.
I mean, what a job he's really done.
Um, but it hasn't been the best return.
It's a different Sheffield team after the break, one that we were maybe down to expect, at least at the beginning of the season.
But they turned out to be absolutely phenomenal, overachieving by far.
I think you can say, uh, battling for Europa League spots, maybe even Champions League, although that seems more out of the question after their poor restart.
But Chris, while they're called his team out, he said.
We gotta perform better.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
Of course, I didn't get off to the best of starts in that makeup game.
They actually took part in the first primarily game back after the Corona virus pandemic, where they got robbed in all honesty against Aston Villa.
By the way, the possession heavily in favor of ****nal 75 to 25% in this one as we are 18 minutes in.
And maybe that just, um knocked off the confidence of Sheffield because they should have won that game against and Aston Villa team who is struggling very much so, losing once again yesterday, the Wolves in it, they might be doomed in the relegation zone, although it's still very much a tight race down at the bottom.
It's a nice job by Stevens Stevens now trying to play it in the middle, but it was Granit Xhaka who got a touch on it.
When it back and it will be a lunch room to take the throw it scratch that Robinson will let it go for Stevens.
Here is John Fleck.
It's a good looking ball through, but Daveed Louise does a nice job, and that is what ****nal want to have it.
Louise to Dio see, goes up the sideline for Black isn't like it was that taken out from underneath and wins is outside a free kick here, right around midfield.
Maitland Niles takes it ****nal, trying to move things along quickly here and gain some momentum.
They've been dominating possession, as I mentioned about a minute ago, but it was Sheffield, who thought they had the lead back in the I believe, eighth minute or seventh as they scored on the corner kick butt via are looked at it.
It was an obvious offsides and therefore the goal was called back.
Oh, that's a brilliant header from Pap pain, but it cannot be taken down nicely by will.
Look, I was trying to take it off his chest and just couldn't execute.
It's in the midfield now with Fleck.
Lie to the sideline.
Sheffield looking for gold number one.
20 minutes in no score here and it was John Egan.
Egan finds Ba Shahm fashion back for Dean Henderson Anderson, who I think is the number one goalkeeper for the England national team.
I I think he should.
And I think he will start, uh, for be the starting goalkeeper for England at the Euros next summer.
I mean, I don't see why he went, to be honest with you, it didn't seem like what happened was intending to do.
But it's still found.
His teammate and will IQ will look.
Let's go back to Pepe.
Pepe, with a good looking ball in and coming to the rescue, was Jack Robinson.
It's out of play for a corner kick.
Well, Daven Louise will make his way forward.
He's a prime target in the box.
You get it on the head of Javid Louise, a good chance that could go into the back of the net.
We'll see what kind of service is delivered in the area here.
It will be a right foot, an outswinger from Joe Will IQ Lo driven ball.
Not quite what he was looking for and a wasted chance there for Sheffield, although it's one right back by will IQ.
Here come Zwilich looking for Stop it and now soccer towards that far post headed away.
But Sheffield unable to clear class and ach, finds Pepe Pepe out wide. Four.
Sokka Tokyo, Osaka with a square ball for Keuren Tierney.
A collision at the edge of the 18.
And they're pointing to the spot penalty kick awarded to the Gunners.
Alexandre Lacazette down.
I didn't know if it was outside or inside.
The referee says it was in the box in ****nal with a chance to take the lead.
Yep, that's inside.
It's on the line, but that's part of the box.
And yet it's the correct decision from the referee.
The penalty goes against Chris Basham, the right back for Sheffield United and it will be a kick from the spot for ****nal to try to take the lead here 23 minutes in.
It was a little bit of a delayed call from the referee to blow that whistle and point to the spot what he eventually did.
So and now ****nal with a chance to take the lead.
I think it was a penalty.
Why cause that was taken out.
His first touch was far enough away that Vashem's challenge was one that wasn't intended to play the ball.
At least it seemed that way.
We are waiting for a little bit here as V A R is making sure that this was indeed a penalty.
Like is that still a little bit shaken up? He's up on his own but still doesn't seem too comfortable.
The athletic trainers will take a look at him and who takes the penalty kick is the question for ****nal.
If it indeed is a penalty kick coming up, it will be Niego.
Pepe Nikolas Cafe will take the PK can ****nal take the lead Here we go 25 minutes in.
No score, But that could change right here.
Nikolas Pepe against the best English goalkeeper and maybe indefinitely former are ah, future man United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Here's the run up from Pepe.
It's beautifully slotted bottom right corner goal.
Pepe puts ****nal in the lead.
It's a great finish from the spot, and it's Sheffield nil.
****nal Get the goal.
Get the first goal of the game, I should say, left footed strike from Pepe giving Henderson no chance.
Henderson guessed the right way, but it was too perfectly placed from Pepe to give Henderson a chance to get even a fingertip on that one and going back to the penalty kick.
Ah, a reckless challenge from Basham.
A penalty kick indeed, and Pepe converts from the spot.
And that will bring us into our first half water break.
25th minute goal from the spot by Pepe has put our snow in the lead and plenty of work to do for Chris Wilder's men.
That although we're still in the early stages of this one and a chance to regroup here with the cooling break, both teams will get some hydration.
It is pretty much the hottest hours of the day. Right now.
It's 1:27 p.m. Local time.
I guess the warmest hours of the day and it depends on a lot of sleep could be a little later.
But still, the sun is shining down a pretty warm and humid afternoon in England.
Mikael Arteta given instructions and talking it over with his team on the sideline.
Meanwhile, Sheffield there back, ready to go.
They're ready to try toe work their way back into this one, only down by a goal.
And we've seen ****nal on multiple occasions this year in the Premier League.
Surrender leads in the up and in the Premier League games.
The most recent example of that was just last weekend, where they were up.
One deal that frightened and ended up losing to the one so still plenty of time left for Sheffield to work their way back in this one city.
Ah, action will take place today at 1 25 Eastern time when Sassuolo takes on Hellas Verona.
That will be the featured city.
Our game today on ESPN third foul committed here by ****nal.
Sheffield have committed four of their own.
It will be a free kick for the Blades in a good position to so so all right, it will be Lundstrom, Norwood and Fleck all at around the ball.
We'll see who eventually takes it as Emiliano Martinez sets up his wall four on the wall for ****nal.
It's a pass and a laser right into the wall, low driven ball.
But the ****nal wall did its duty.
Here's Maitland Niles all the way back for Martinez, now in stabbing Louise, good looking ball makes its way through the lack.
Is that black? Is that over the pep? A one time striking.
It's a brilliant save by Dean Henderson, the first big save of the day for the man united Loanee.
And this was nicely done.
That was a good strike from Pepe.
I like how he went with it one time on the one time strike, but it was a great job by Henderson and get down and make the save with his fingertips.
It will be the second corner of the game coming up for ****nal here, about 1/2 hour in a left footed inswinger here and not really Ah, threatening ball.
Sheffield deal with it quite nicely, but still having trouble controlling.
And now it's soccer with it.
Who was at a back pass? No, nothing is called.
That could have been a back fast right there.
Oliver Norwood put his foot in there.
But to be fair, I don't think he was intending.
I don't know if he was intending to play back to Henderson, but who else would he have been playing into that? Have been a back pass right there.
Oh, that's a heavy challenge.
That should be a yellow as well.
And indeed it will be.
So John Fleck gets the first booking of the game.
I take a look back out that possible back past, but instead they're gonna play the replay of the foul.
And, yeah, a clear yellow card.
I mean, just a ah reckless challenge there from Flexion, a deserving yellow card as well.
The free kick will be taken by colossal match.
It's off of Sheffield for a corner kick.
Lundstrom isn't quite a bit of discomfort.
You went on a shoulder quite awkwardly there in that collision with will IQ one stream has been one of the best players for the Sheffield team.
I really do think we'll see if he can shake off that shoulder injury if it will be or if it will be causing too much pain for him to carry on.
We'll keep an eye on that one.
SRAM Clearly not 100% right now.
Little slip there from Maitland Niles, taken down by the chest of Keuren Tierney.
Journey all the way out wine as he finds Booky Osaka Mustafi Teoh Shock up over to Daven Louise Classic match up ahead for Saca.
Sokka out wide for Tierney.
It's a good service into the area, and Will IQ was near it, but Sheffield ableto had it away.
It's back to ****nal Bell.
Sokka dancing his way through the box, can't quite get by George Bal****.
It will be a throwing for the gunner, Sheffield having a very rough time, clearing it out of there.
1/3 of the field? Yeah, lunchroom still down here.
The shoulder injury seems to be quite serious.
That left shoulder is once the issue and that well, most likely be they will most likely be a four substitution to be made by Chris Wilder.
Yeah, I was there.
He just landed awkwardly on that shoulder.
You hate to see it.
He collided with Will IQ and just landed awkwardly.
You never want to see that type of injury, and yet he's having a rough time moving it once.
Trim, truly, a great story, has been having a great season.
Sheffield and he's Ah, he's arisen his way up the ranks as well.
He he's played in a lot of divisions of England's, and the stretcher is going to come out here.
Yeah, this is causing him a lot of discomfort here, and this could be a, Ah, pretty serious injury.
And that would be a big loss for Sheffield.
If he's not ableto, um, continue for the rest of the season, it will be Sander Burge coming in.
Lunchroom is able to get up on his own, but that will have to be the end of his night.
Unfortunately, so Chris Wilder forced to make this substitution here in the 35th minute, launched from one of the leaders of the Sheffield team.
But they have to carry on without him down by a goal and now we resume play Universal throwing but a push from behind in a foul called against ****nal.
10 minutes plus stoppage time remaining in this one.
This is flicked the head for McBurney.
McBurney turns the corner now I will play it back.
It's Jack Robinson out wide.
Stevens back to Robinson.
You not clearance.
We'll take a deflection off the back side of Stevens for a gunner's throwing will be Alexander Lack has had to take the throat or no, rather Maitland Niles.
Excuse me? Take the throwing.
So will lick the risky ball right down the middle from will IQ, but and Sheffield are actually able to come up with the steal.
Here is a chance.
And it was flecked Moving forward.
McBurney collides at the edge of the area.
Heavy collision there, and the trainer is going to be called on.
It is a free kick given to the blades.
And this was a nasty looking collusion.
I believe that heads of both McBurney I believe it was MK burning Lilic who collided heads there.
Yeah, this looked Oh, man.
They just vote didn't see each other coming. It appeared.
That was Ah, nasty class.
Yeah, McBurney had no idea that will cause in front of him, and Will.
IQ was focused, has eyes on the ball, so he had no idea that Burt McBurney was coming at him.
And that makes for a dangerous, scary collision.
And so they're both being looked at by the athletic trainers, as we were in the 38th minute, winding down here in the first half to see this.
They have the stretcher along the sideline, if it will be needed.
McBurney is back up.
Looked like his, um his cheek is what made contact with the head of will IQ will.
It is still little days.
It appears you seem to got the worst out of it.
Hopefully, he'll be all right here.
You will get up on his own.
McBurney seems to be all right.
Those are one of those situations where you hope it's not a bad injury, because it very well could be.
But most of the time is it is just the shock of the collision because he hadn't, they didn't, but they both had no idea that the other was coming, Um, at them full speed ahead.
So will it will get some water.
It looks like both of them will be able to continue, which is a good sign, and we resume play here in the late stages of the first half.
Live on SportsCastr, this plant goes sky high.
We've got ahead to it and now ****nal trying to lead this one to an attack.
But will IQ can control and that's a foul committed against classic match.
There's been a lot of 1000.
This first happened.
There's really been a lot of stop and start which I think has affected the.
I think it definitely has affected how this Ah first half has played out.
Neither team really able to gain a whole lot of momentum due to the stop and start constant stop and start throughout the game.
This is now controlled by Robinson Robinson over its Affleck ****nal.
Now win it in a foul committed.
Who's Nicholas Pepe, who went down so well If Man United that punch their ticket to the semi finals of the F A Cup? If ****nal, Chelsea and Man City all win today, those those would be some fantastic semifinal matches.
Of course we have to wait to see who plays who? I don't know when the draw will take place for the semifinals.
I would think probably tomorrow.
I usually do it right after the round comes to an end.
Here now is Pepe.
Last year was Man City who won the F A Cup.
They defeated Watford six nil in the final.
It's definitely gonna be I think it's going to be different.
I think it's gonna be much closer.
We all all the teams left in the tournament are pretty good sides and Watford had a great run but it and the season too well and it carried over into the F A Cup.
Dean Henderson getting a little risky at the back, taking a few dribbles but able to clear in the end.
And now it's out of play for an ****nal throwing also so much more soccer look forward to I mentioned City on later today.
Next Saturday it will be the German Cup final buyer lever accusing against Bayern Munich Saturday one or rather Saturday at two Eastern time.
That should be a good one from Berlin.
Bayern Munich, looking toe lift their second trophy in the span of one week.
They lifted the Bundesliga trophy yesterday as it was the last day of the season in the Bundesliga, and they look to lift the German Cup trophy on Saturday.
Laid out why it's a nice first touch for Maitland Niles.
Powerful cross sent, and Henderson got a touch to it.
Soccer couldn't get a shot off.
Now it's outside the area and outside the left foot strike from Tierney, just wide in the ends by the good opportunity for the Gunners.
No, this isn't powerful cross from Maitland.
Henderson couldn't catch it, instead sent it away, but not away as much as he would have liked in Tierney.
Did have a good up.
Good luck from the edge of the 18 the, uh, left back with an opportunity.
Pretty solid in this first half.
They lead in shots, 32 and they also lead in shots on target to nothing.
Two minutes until stoppage time will probably be a, uh, a good amount of stoppage time added on weak.
We had a penalty kick, uh, an injury along with we had to injuries, actually, and then the substitution we had the water break.
I wouldn't be surprised if There's three minutes tacked onto the end of this first half, possibly even four.
Here is Jack Robinson.
Robinson does a great job.
What? Who? The substitute burger with the chance.
That was a powerful shot, but in the end, Miljan a Martinez in the right place to make the save.
Wow, this was kind of an unexpected shot here.
One time you had the open lane, and why not go for goal? The substitute looking for that far corner? The skin didn't get enough.
Well, the space here to exploit.
And it's a nice ball.
Why the crosses in and the shot just wide from Nicholas Pepe.
Miquel Archetto likes what he's seeing from his team and Pep A making a run towards the penalty spot.
Yeah, that was a great run in a great ball as well.
Cut back to Pepe.
Just might have.
God had caught up a little underneath him.
That's what threw it off.
Not the most clean strike, but a good chance once again for ****nal nonetheless.
Now here comes Sheffield, all the way to Stevens Actual Robinson towards the back post and Burger, unable to get any control on the heather how to play for a goal kick.
We are into additional time here.
Oh, they're gonna add seven.
My word I thought three or four, but I was clearly wrong about that.
We'll have seven tacked onto the end of this first half.
I guess it really does.
All add up I don't like Is that had his injury to? That's right.
Yeah, we had a lot of injuries here in this first time, but I don't know about seven, though.
I was guessing three or four, but I was way off on that, trying to draw a foul.
There was Alexandre Lacazette, but he's not going to get it.
Martinez, who is now the starter for ****nal after Bernd Leno sustained that injury last weekend, is the backup goalie for Argentina at the international level, soccer out one in a foul committed by Sheffield.
Easy call for the referee.
Their final minutes of the first half.
Sheffield looking for the equaliser.
But ****nal haven't stepped off the gas one bit and they're looking to double the lead before the break.
It will be pet then with the left footed in swinger Nicholas PAPP towards Daven Louise, and he needed to redirect that one, but instead sent it well wide.
He's getting over.
You just getting tugged a little bit.
Yeah, there was a poll of the shirt there and then end up actually going off his shoulder.
It was a little bit of, Ah, shirt tugging their in the box, but that happens on every set piece.
Doesn't it gonna have to be real blatant for the referee to point to the spot in that situation? Back with Emiliano Martinez over two Mustafi, stuffy all the way.
I wide towards the sideline class and keeps it in play nicely.
But it's over the head in that apply over the head of tyranny.
Well, it's a head collision there, a foul called against Sheffield.
In this time it is Tierney down.
That really has been a lot of physicality in the 1st 45 minutes.
Is there any a little shaken up after that? It will be looked at by the athletic trainers.
Yeah, collision of the heads there, and Tierney definitely got the worst out of it.
Charity was in, Was that Scotland was ah, at Celtic in Scotland.
Excuse me for four years.
You won the league title twice while he was there.
Celtic, the powerhouse of Scotland right now Rangers used to be right up there with them, but when they got here with that punishment, it's been tough for them to climb back up.
They have done it.
They're the second best team in in Scotland.
But they're still quite a ways off from Celtic in a collision in the box, a foul will be called against Pet Day.
Peppa has a sarcastic laugh of it.
He definitely doesn't think that was the right decision, but it Wasit waas Yeah, he took out Jack Robinson from behind.
You can't make an argument against that call by the referee.
The correct decision in the end, five minutes down in stoppage time to to go.
Well, McGoldrick leaves it nicely for John Fleck.
But Flex Cross no issue for ****nal took a double deflection actually, off the thigh of Maitland Niles and then off the thigh of Dabble Louise into the hands of Martinez.
You know his lack is that like, Is that to Pepe? We went into the midfield with Shkodran Mustafi big you, everyone for tuning into the broad.
Guess glad to have you here on the Sunday morning.
I'm assuming most of you guys tuning in are on the are in the eastern time zone because it's Ah, maybe some of you were in the central time zone, but out West, it's quite early at this hour on the a minute left in the opening half, Sheffield with it.
Dean Henderson, please.
I want street out of bounds, though, and make sure you stay tuned at halftime.
Coming up at half time, I will recap the Norwich City Manchester United game and go over the first half.
Highlights of this one.
What a game it was yesterday between Norwich and Menu.
I'll tell you all about it at the break, so stay tuned for that.
You're now is Berga and there is the halftime whistle sentiments of stoppage time in the books, and it's the midway point of this F A Cup quarter final encounter between Sheffield United and ****nal.
Sheffield nil ****nal on ****nal halfway through to clinching a semi final spot in the coveted F A Cup.
I'll be back for the halftime show coming your way next, so keep it right here. on SportsCastr.
We still got 45 more minutes of action me anymore.
Coming your way. Stay tuned, everybody.
I'll be right back.
Welcome back, everybody.
And let's take a look at today's F A Cup schedule.
More quarterfinals coming your way At 11 Eastern, it's Leicester City against Chelsea and at 1 30 Newcastle against Manchester City.
Two very good games to look forward to later in the day.
But in this F A Cup quarter final, the 1st 1 of the day and Sheffield United Nil ****nal one at the half.
Thank you, everyone for being a part of the broadcast.
I greatly appreciate it as always.
And let's take a look back at the first F A Cup quarter final of the weekend, which took place yesterday, it was Norwich City hosting Manchester United and this was a great game.
In the 51st minute, it would be men united to open the scoring.
It was actually a nice goal from Odion Ighalo, who men United got in January after ah, they signed him from the Chinese League.
This was a great finish outside of the right foot, taking that one out of the year in placing it quite nicely.
But then the 75th minute.
What a goal it was from Cantwell, way outside the box, perfect placement to the bottom right corner and then Norwich, all of a sudden with a surprise goal that definitely woke up.
Man United as that made it 11 Then in the 88th minute, it was a red card for Norwich City, and it was a clear red card.
On closer, I mean, a tug on the back of a Gullo and Ngala would have been often running on a breakaway.
So an easy decision for the referee to point to the spot or rather, a give a red card and give a free kick that was right outside the box.
Man United weren't able to capitalize on that free kick.
Therefore, we head toe extra time.
Additional 30 minutes needed.
It looked like we were heading for penalties until Harry Maguire, in the 118 minutes, finished off a ah game where men united were the better side but had a bit of difficulty finding that winter.
It was a scrappy goal, but man united would don't care one bit.
They're glad that they have punched their ticket into the F A Cup semifinals.
It took 120 minutes, but they were able to get by the last place side in the Premier League in Norwich City.
And let's take a look at some match statistics in this one.
As a finished to one man, you.
The possession was 66 to 34%.
Man united the shots, 36 to 10 menu and the shots on target eat toe one.
And so it wasn't a Garlow goal in the 51st minute and a Maguire goal in the 118th minute.
That is what got Man United the victory.
Hey, they were the better team in this one.
It was just one of those days where I'm sure many United fans were thinking, Is this just not our day where we can't find the back of the net and work or seriously gonna go out on penalty kicks or something like that? That didn't turn out to be the case.
McGwire, late in stock in extra time, able to get the game winner.
What a game that Waas and um, yes, so that was the first ethnic Cup quarterfinal men United await to see who their opponent will be.
The draw will be coming up for the semi finals.
Meanwhile, in this one at Sheffield, Neil ****nal one At halftime, I will give you I'll go over.
I should say the highlights of the first half of this game after a quick break or actually, no, Let's go over them right now.
Shall we? Now I'll wait.
I'll wait after the commercial breaks the state shooting, The halftime report rolls on.
Here on SportsCastr, go over the highlights of the first half between Sheffield United and ****nal.
I'll be right back. Keep it right here.
Welcome back in everybody ****nal with one nil advantage midway through this F A Cup quarter final encounter between Sheffield and ****nal.
And let's take a look at the first half.
Highlight, shall we? In the eighth minute, Sheffield thought they had taken the lead.
It was on a corner kick where my gold McBurney sent it across four McGoldrick.
But the goal is checked for possible offsides.
And looking at the replay, it was offsides, the correct decision by the referee.
So the goal taken off the board in Sheffield thought they had taken the lead, but that wasn't the case.
And then in the 23rd minute penalty kick given ****nal and I think, the correct decision just a clumsy challenge from from, ah, Chris Basham and and he took down lack of set and then from the spot what it finish.
It was run by Nicholas Pepe, left footed strike bottom right corner, giving Henderson no chance at all.
****nal took the lead and they kept on rolling.
And then because then in the 29th minute, it was packed with another chance.
A one time strike, a powerful left footed one as that.
But Dean Anderson coming up big for Sheffield United.
Let's take a look at some halftime stats.
No, they lead in possession, 72 to 28%.
They also have the advantage in shots and shots on goal, 32 and shots to to nothing on shots on goal.
Sheffield at more fouls, 53 Sheffield also have one yellow card ****nal.
I don't have any, so yeah, ****nal.
Actually, we're pretty good, especially in the latter stages that second half after they got that opening goal on the penalty kick, but the second half hasn't been too good toe ****nal in the Premier League this season.
We'll see if that carries over into this F A Cup matchup and Sheffield won't go away.
I'll tell you that much.
It should be a good final 45 minutes, which is coming your way. Next.
Live on, SportsCastr.
Stay right where you are.
Welcome back, everybody and I'm excited.
Announced that the animal s is back.
Tournament will begin July 8th at eight Eastern Sign when Orlando City takes on Inter Miami And then after that, a 10 30 will be Nashville S C against the Chicago Fire.
I'll be on the call for the Inter Miami Orlando being to kick off the MLS is back tournament.
I am so pumped for it.
What is it now? 10 days until the ****yzes back tournament gets under way.
I could not be more excited, especially for my favorite team, the Revolution, to get an action.
They will have their first game on July 9th, the day after the tournament begins at the ESPN wide or the sports complex.
I am super excited.
It's going to be epic, folks.
Meanwhile, we're ready for the start of the second half between Sheffield United and ****nal.
One nil ****nal lead, but still 45 more minutes to be played in regulation time in the second half begins with a long ball that we'll go all the way over the end line for a goal kick.
It is very windy here at the beginning of this first half, the, uh, the cover ups on the uh on the empty seats.
Empty stands, obviously, with no fans in attendance there blowing like crazy.
And let's just go over who's on the pitch right now.
For Sheffield, it's Anderson and Goal Basham, Egan and Robinson in the back.
Bal**** Berga, who came in the first half along with Norwood Fleck in Stevens in the midfield.
Then McGoldrick and McBurney, the front two for Sheffield.
Meanwhile, out there for ****nal in goal is Martinez.
In the back, it's Maitland Niles, Mustafi, Navid Louise in Tierney.
In the midfield, Shaka will IQ and classy, natch, and then the front three of Pepe, lack of Zet and soccer.
So no changes made at the half by either manager.
Sure, we'll see.
A lot of them, though, is the second half rolls on, it will be a throw in taken by George Bal****.
We'll see how Sheffield bounced back in the second half year Thrones too far ahead, but nicely done by McGoldrick to keep that in play.
He came out of nowhere to prevent that one from heading over the end line.
And now it's Pepe off to the races for ****nal.
But that last touch too far in front and it's back in control for Sheffield two minutes into the second half.
No, it's a throwing towards the corner flag.
McGoldrick with the flick and now battling forward in the area is Stevens.
Stevens goes down but too easily.
And so throwing for Sheffield ****nal defence called inaction.
Already here in the early stage of the second half, Sheffield on the front foot.
It's a good start for the Blades in the 2nd 45 Who? This is a header flicked on by McBurney, but in the end, it caused no issues.
For Dean Henderson or for Rather, Emiliano Martinez is what I meant to say Martinez to dab it, Louise.
Now it's Cholestin after the poor ball and now can Sheffield capitalize? No, they cannot.
That was an error and passed from McGoldrick.
Here is Javid Louise, and that clearance is off the shin of McGoldrick and out of play, although apparently went back up and ricocheted back off of Louise.
And it is going to be a Sheffield throwing, in fact, scratch that a corner kick.
Sorry, that was off camera in the corner.
It ricocheted and went, I guess, to the left of the corner flag.
So it is a corner kick.
It's a good ball.
What? ****nal have too many numbers in the box, and they clear it away.
They move up the high line at the edge of the 18 curling towards the back post.
It's a job well done by Martinez coming out bravely to punch that one away and now a foul committed and Jack Robinson absolutely furious about that call.
He's not happy at all about that decision.
Yeah, he actually had a point because it seemed like jacket just tripped over the ball there, and I can see why Robinson was quite infuriated about that decision.
Stevens will take the throwing five minutes into the second half.
Thank you, everyone for tuning into the broadcast.
It's the F A Cup quarter finals live on SportsCastr.
Now here is a chance.
But John Fleck, with a very disappointing strike there, didn't get it off as he would have liked.
Slow rolling ball sent wide right of the goal post.
Robert Fleck actually was with Norwich City a few years back when they were in when they were ah, in the, uh, primarily they got back into the Premier League.
But now it looks like they're gonna go back down to the championship because they are, Yeah, Norwich are in a lot of trouble in the Premier League.
They're dead last, and it's going to be nearly impossible for them to work their way back out, Will it called for the foul in the 52nd minute? Yeah.
I mean, there was a little contact there, but a soft foul.
In fact, David Louise, meanwhile, looks like he's losing his breath there.
Yeah, that was Louise is a little, um, shaken up.
Actually, you might have an injury here.
He's gone down now.
Mikel Arteta does have some substitutes warming up.
Well, hey, no mistakes on the day so far from David Louise.
You might want to come off if he doesn't want to make one later on.
I was kidding. That's kind of mean.
Not sure, really.
What happened here? Yeah.
There was not a lot of contact there.
It might have been just the way he he ah, landed there.
Perhaps So it will be Rob holding coming in.
I assume he's going in for David Lee's.
I don't think Louise will be able to continue here.
Eso injury here for the Brazilian.
And so Javid Louise comes off and it will be Rob holding coming in first change made by ****nal.
You see one change from each team, but changes that they weren't intending to make necessarily because both of them have been due to injury.
And so Louise heads up to the stands to take a seat.
He's clearly, uh, still trying to Ah, he's probably gonna ice down whatever the issue is.
I think he it's his calf.
Maybe, but that will be it for Daven Louise tonight.
Less than 10 minutes into the second half, here now is stock up trying to keep the attack going, but his ball takes a huge deflection.
It's back at the feet, though, of Joe will IQ Rob holding with his first touch of the game, But the 2nd 1 wasn't a good one as he was looking toe.
Play that one out wide but the past well off target and it's out for a Sheffield throwing.
So I'm adjusting the cushion here on the couch.
Martinez over Tierney Tierney with a burst of acceleration.
That ball intended for Black is that was not on target.
And there is Dean Henderson.
You know this punch from Henderson Box? The blocks.
It's over the crossbar.
Henderson nearly just scored on a punt.
That would have been absolutely extraordinary.
Look at this beauty from Dean Henderson.
The ball took a bounce.
Miljan Martinez quickly said, Oh, my, I got to get back to the goal line or else this could go over my head.
It did go over his head, but just over the bar and did Martinez gonna touch to is the question.
Mm, I don't know.
So how about that? Dean Henderson nearly scored right there.
The referee says more teams did not get a touch to it, didn't pierce, although it was pretty close and a goal kick is given.
Oh, man, I kind of wish that went in just for the spectacle of it.
That would have been the first goalkeeper gold that I would have ever been on the call for in my history of calling soccer matches.
Heavy collision there.
It's McBurney down location.
I feel united that they aren't going away here.
They know how themselves a good at set piece, chance free kick for Sheffield.
It will be Chris Basham to take good ball sent in, and it's a beautiful say by Martinez.
The editor at the back post is in.
But is it going to count? No, it's not.
The flag has gone up for offsides.
Sheffield United have now twice then denied their goal earlier stood, and NVR took it off the board for off sides.
This time they are put up his flag for offsides.
Let's see the little touch on here.
Oh, there's so much Teoh to trace down here and look for even got the final head to it.
It was actually a great finish, a tough one as well, because his momentum was bringing him over the end line and out of out of play.
But he just was able to tap it in and it is being checked by v A.
Are there checking the disallowed goal for offsides? Could it be overturned? And could Sheffield tie it up? It looks like the answer is going to be know as the decision is no goal for offside Now.
Looking at the replay that original ball was just it was just a hair offsides.
But the correct decision.
But it's better from Sheffield.
It's better from Sheffield here in the second half, there has been some chances for the home side.
They're definitely applying.
The pressure to ****nal and ****nal have been shaky at the back throughout this season and they can be exposed.
And so here comes the throw it and ****nal take it back.
It's like, Is that with the ball? Should I feel though, when it yours, Jorge Bal****, or just about at the hour mark a little over 1/2 an hour remaining in regulation time? Sheffield Nil ****nal, one live on SportsCastr is turning out to be a great F A Cup quarterfinal matchup here now is very good.
McGoldrick all the way to the other side.
Sheffield switch fields this is a good ball.
The heather is wide, though.
What a chance it waas Ah, beautiful ball into the box fashion with the diving header was a good effort from the right back, but it was just wide of the post in the end.
Oh, that was a perfect ball.
And Basham, he really should have done better with it.
I mean, he has to at least put it on target.
And if you do, even if you don't find the back of the neck, there's, ah, highly high.
There's a high chance that, uh, Martinez wasn't gonna make catch on it.
He probably would have just tried to get a touch on it, and there would have been a rebound there for the taking.
If you're bashing there, you need to at least put it on target shock at the edge of the box.
He goes down too easily, according to the referee, and now here comes Sheffield the other way.
Now it's Stevens Stevens moving forward.
It's a good through ball, but too much on it, and McBurney can't get there before Martinez does.
It's the right idea.
It's just It's just over hit there On the past.
If it had been spot on, McBurney would have had a great chance because Martinez came off his line and there would have been a good probability that McBurney could flick it right by and find the back of the net.
Sheffield, still searching for their first goal of the game here, is Rob Holding.
Holding on it was left foot.
The strike takes a deflection, Sheffield looking to clear.
And they do just that.
And now Chris Wilder will make his second change of the day.
And let's see who will be coming off for the Blades.
All right, it will be Bal**** coming off and its cure and Freeman entering for Sheffield.
Some Freeman comes in.
Let's see what type of difference he can make for Sheffield.
Both teams have a number of substitutes warming up.
We can expect much, much more changes to be made.
Remember, five substitution is allowed, and in the F A Cup, you know if it is tied after 90 minutes 30 we would head to extra time and ah, there would be a six substitute allowed.
If it did go to extra time.
It's a goal kick Now.
Milly Ana Martinez goes straight up the middle for se outclass image that pass off target.
Sheffield will go all the way back to the keeper Jean Henderson.
I understand, though, sends it out of play for a throwing.
He's clearly frustrated with himself on that one.
Here now is Norwood, by the way, in the last 10 minutes, the possession 56 to 44% ****nal so much more even than the first half where it was, what, 72 to 28.
If I'm not mistaken, ****nal will make to substitution that once here it will be both in Caccia and so bios coming in.
So Jenny Savio's and Edward in Quetta coming in for the Gunners here in the 65th minute, although it looks like they'll wait to make the substitution until after the goal kick.
This is risky here.
Martinez tree up the middle class in Ash.
Klassen, Ash back to Martinez, Sheffield applying the pressure.
What ****nal get out of it.
So, yeah, they'll wait to make those that double substitution that will be at the next stoppage. Most likely.
Meanwhile, here come ****nal, moving forward Maitland Niles.
Good ball whipped in, headed back away for classic match here now is Tierney Journey of the box and not on the same page there.
Or will IQ and lacquers that will.
It was looking to flick it on and was expecting lack is that to make the run like is that was expecting the ball to be played to his feet.
Here's Dean Henderson, another great pass downfield by Henderson and nearly went through to McGoldrick.
And now the substitution is will be made.
All right, So we are going to see Joe.
Will IQ come off for Jenny Sabaya's so bios the former Rael Madrid man is, you may remember from a few years back.
Meanwhile, Lack is that will also be coming off for the Gunners.
Not it wasn't like, Is that stay? He's been in and out of the lineup struggling.
As of late, I mentioned the CFDA Mikel Arteta will put a bombing and eventually, so when Katia comes in for lack, is that to change is that I think makes sense from our tent.
Is perspective both willing and lack? Is that not really making a big impact? Meanwhile, so bios and definitely and catchy.
I think our guys that can make an impact your especially in Quetta.
Young player was so much potential.
I think, of course, there's plenty of improvements to be made in this game.
But, you know, if he gets better than he could be, it could be a, you know, a future star player for this ****nal team down the road because the focus is on the future for ****nal.
Quite frankly, this is a long throw in into the edge of the six yard box.
It's a nice turnaround move by Berga, but his shot is blocked.
An ****nal able to clear this is launched forward and catchy, a running onto it.
And now it's controlled at the back by John Egan.
Probably at the next stoppage in play, we will have our second half cooling break.
I will most likely be the case and a foul called there and a clever one touch flick by Sokka, and he draws the foul ****nal quickly put the ball back in play.
You know it's curing Tierney.
Tierney wants it on his left foot.
The services sent in it gets by soccer back out and the shot was a powerful one from well outside by Granit Xhaka but his own teammate.
I believe that was soccer who was in the way and he was an offside position as well and unfortunate situation there for ****nal.
This goal kick or this free kick, I should say once again, deep downfield from Henderson here is now in the Stevens.
And who is it off of its off Stevens goal kick Given in Stevens knows of himself.
He's tryingto convince the referee that was a corner kick, but he wasn't having any of that.
And now the water break will take place.
A good time to have it here in the 70th minute.
Chris Wilder trying to instill some confidence in his team here because Sheffield have been better in the second half.
I really have thought they've had opportunities in this game is far from being done.
So another hydration break taking place.
Chris Wilder talking it over with his team.
It's a both players ableto get a quick break, get some fluids in them and go out there for the final tournaments and give it everything they've got with an F A Cup semifinal spot on the line.
Beautiful day in England's in Sheffield, England.
Yeah, going back to what transpired in this game.
We had the penalty kick for ****nal, and that's the lone goal in this game like a that was taken down by bash him right on the line.
Which is part of the box.
The correct decision by the referee and the Nicholas Pepe with a great clinical finish from the spot.
Sending that one into the bottom right corner, making it look easy.
No way Dean Anderson was getting to it.
Anderson guessed the right way, but it was There was too much accuracy on it from Pepe, By the way, Javid Louise is icing that right knee of his looks like our left knee of his looks like.
So we'll keep an eye on that.
That Louise had to come out due to an injury earlier in the second half, coming up later on city action roles on its Sassuolo taking on have lots of hard on that.
That's a 1 30 Eastern time today.
Martinez has played some very dangerous falls or straight up the middle on multiple occasions now.
I mean, when in doubt, you just gotta play along on a A situation like that after Petr Cech, it's been there's been a number of goalies who have been the starters for ****nal.
Szczesny, then Fabianski for a little bit.
Who's now the, uh, West Ham goalkeeper? Along with ah burnt lineup.
But now Bernd Leno injured and, um, Ilium Emiliano Martinez is now the man going forward.
We're in the 72nd minute.
Here is Freeman, the substitute for Sheffield.
Sheffield have only made two changes are still made. Three.
Burn got into the midfield.
Now it's John Fleck.
It a nice tummy there from Berga, and it's poked away from Freeman.
It's a throwing for the Gunners kill R theta, looking to really Ah, really steer this ****nal team into the right direction because it's it's gonna be a project, that's for sure, with 1/9 place in the Premier League right now, just unacceptable for a club like ****nal.
And so a lot of work to do for our Teta and his men.
But the F A Cup is the focus, and so for ****nal's, they want to win a trophy there.
They've obviously had an awful season, the primarily their out of Europa League after being upset by Olympia Cose in the round of 32.
So this is their last chance at a trophy in the 2019 and 2020 campaign, and they're 17 plus minutes away from moving on to the semifinals.
Yeah, a foul there.
As in Kati A went in with the challenge.
So here we go on the free kick for Sheffield.
It's a good ball over the top, the header back and a lot of traffic in front at the penalty spot.
****nal, though finally ableto send it outside of the 18.
But Chef feel applying the pressure.
This is back to Berga lo driven ball easily dealt with by ****nal.
It's now up ahead for and catty A This is going to be a yellow card, surely, and yes, that is indeed the case.
Jack Robinson, given the yellow for Sheffield second yellow card of the game, the other one to John Fleck earlier.
I was actually very early on in the game.
Yeah, good pace from and catty up, and he just absolutely got taken out by Robinson.
It's a smart foul there, I will say from Robinson, probably worth the yellow card because if and catchy had got by Robinson than Sheffield would have been in trouble here as we got 1/4 of an hour left in this one and Sheffield have made a change and it's fashion.
Who has come off? And it's Billy Sharpe, who has entered Billy Sharp, given the captain's armband after bashing went off Ashen, didn't have the best of days, gave away the penalty kick.
And that's what's been the difference so far in this one.
Here now is curing Tierney Journey looking to connect in the middle, but that was intercepted a little shove from behind Uncle Asa Nash.
He falls quite awkwardly in front of the bench and a free kick is given or as a free kick.
Then, given I don't know, it looks like a throne has actually been given no foul.
I thought I heard a whistle there.
I mean, that's a definite foul.
Come on, I don't know how that was not spotted by the referee.
And now ****nal down a man is collapsing match.
Since he's off the pitch, they can carry on with the game in class in Ash, currently being looked at by the athletic trainer here is McGoldrick.
That's deflected and it's a corner kick for Sheffield.
They're continuing the push forward, Sheffield, and you have to think this school is coming sooner rather than later.
But they're slowly but surely running out of time.
This is their fourth corner kick of the afternoon, and it will be a right footed in swinger from Onley Norwood.
But the headers over Jack Robinson was actually the one who got on to the end of that ball but couldn't keep the header down.
And we've got about 12.
5 minutes until stoppage time.
No, it will take.
Is one opportunity for Sheffield with a good quality service into the box.
And you have to think that, you know McBurney will be on the end of one of them to finish it.
By the way, the shot there 98 Sheffield in the shots on target to two.
That shows you how they've really turned it around here.
Sheffield in the second half and second half has been better because ****nal did have the better statistics at halftime.
Sheffield, though that bounced back in this second half quite nicely as Journey goes back for holding Rob holding wide ****nal win the throwing 79th minute Sheffield Neil ****nal won the score live Your own SportsCastr will be a throwing at midfield for ****nal.
By the way, Martinez, who is now the starter for ****nal for the foreseeable future, he's He's only played eight Premier League games.
He doesn't have much experience at all in the top flight of England.
By the way, pure Africa bombing is warming up on the sideline for ****nal.
I asked a little while ago if we would see him.
I was pretty sure that Michaela attention would put him in.
But this late I thought he put him in, you know, around the midway point of the second half.
But it looks like a bombing is going to come in in the late stages of this one.
And who knows that this game will go to extra time or not? Sheffield, get the equalizer than you know.
Fresh legs will be needed for an extra 30 minutes.
If it comes down to that a Z we have hit the 80 minute mark tend to go in regulation time.
Let's see the replay.
This one here it was holding with the service on his left foot.
Yeah, just a step behind.
Wasn't Cata, was it? It was a good run to the near post, but he was just second behind there as it was a good ball sent in by holding as well there.
All right, here is the corner kick in.
Sacha able to send it up field ****nal trying to win it back, though.
And it's nicely done by, uh, **** will drink there.
He kept it in place somehow some way.
But now here come ****nal the through, ball towards and Cata And it will be a foul called on And Katia as he took out Freeman Sheffield looking to move things along quickly here looking for looking for the equalizer.
I've got a big game midweek in the, um in the Premier League.
They've got Tottenham midweek.
That should be a good one.
Bernie had a chance right there.
He's really the go to guy up top for Sheffield United.
Yeah, that almost set up perfectly for him.
There were so many other ****nal players in the area that it was always gonna be tough from McBurney to get a shot off Sheffield United not backing down here This is a good looking ball and will it be ableto be kept in play? No.
Sharp got their ability sharp but his momentum would have brought him out.
So he just sent it wide out of play for a throwing rather than surrendering to an ****nal goal kick to the smart decision by the substitute.
Both the semi finals and the final of the F A Cup will take place at Wembley as usual, a neutral site for the final two rounds of the tournament.
What a historic tournament is the F A Cup here now is end of Stevens in a foul call against Sheffield That didn't didn't seem to be too much in that from all over Norwood.
But he has spotted out by the referee 84th minute ****nal holding on to the one Nothing lead also City up continues on Wednesday at 1 30 Eastern time when it will be Bologna taking on Colleary and then also at on Wednesday at 3 30 It will be Hellas Verona vs Parma and Lazio vs Sampdoria.
So much Syria action to look forward to and the hats off to ESPN for showing for showing a city are games, putting it on network television on cable TV rather than having all the games unjust.
ESPN plus and also, you know, um thank you, ESPN for showing these ethic Cup quarter files as well.
They originally all gonna be on ESPN.
Plus, usually the whole F A Cup tournament is on ESPN plus, but they put two of the quarter finals this weekend on ESPN.
That's why I'm able to commentate this one for you.
Tierney was called for the foul.
McKell r theta is clearly mad about it.
He took a swipe at Freeman fly minutes remaining until stoppage time.
And now here come ****nal on the counter.
It's played out.
Lie here is in Quetta and Cata cutting inside.
It's good defending, though.
Great defending, in fact, by the centre back John Egan.
And a foul is called against in Kati a Sheffield looking for the equalizer and trying to force extra time.
Welcome to the broadcast, Nick.
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Glad to have you here on SportsCastr ****nal.
By no means have this one wrapped up.
How about that? Find move by McGoldrick Across.
Sent in, sent away by Rob holding.
We can expect a long throw in here.
A Sheffield are getting numbers in the box.
How about McGoldrick? With the move, the Maradona getting by the ****nal defence brilliantly done there in comes along, throw its landed perfectly from adult rickety scores.
Goal! Sheffield haven't last found the back of the net.
And this one should be for really it should stand.
In the dying moments of regulation time have not ended up and one apiece against ****nal.
It's Sheffield United one ****nal won.
And how about this? It's off of the long throw ****nal.
Just make a mess of it at the back, horribly done by ****nal.
I mean, come on.
It was an attempted clearance from Classen.
Ach! It went off of Mustafi right into the path of McGoldrick.
And McGoldrick said, thank you very much.
And from that close range, he was never gonna make any mistake about that one.
And Sheffield tied up in the late stages and you can see what it means for McGoldrick and the blades.
****nal looked like they were just gonna hold off for the victory.
But in typical ****nal fashion, they cannot just do it.
And McGoldrick in the 87th minute has made this game all the more fascinating here in the late stages, 11 the score in the 88th minute.
How about that? McGoldrick has human scored in the Premier League this season for Sheffield, but he's been a, uh, even very much so a big presence on the pitch today.
Here comes ****nal, though.
This game far from over, if it remains tied after the 90 minutes, we will need an additional 30.
We'll need extra time because it is an F A Cup quarter final encounter.
We need a winner on the day it will be a corner kick for Sheffield and Sheffield get a late winner here, ****nal suddenly trying to hold out for extra time, and Sheffield with all the momentum.
It'll be a right footed inswinger here, sent in by Ali Norwood, good looking ball and Emiliano Martinez with a definitive punch.
But Freeman has it back towards the back post and a little miscommunication there.
The strike is blocked second chance towards in your post and Martinez with a big time saver.
Oh man, Big time saved from the Argentine and Sheffield all of a sudden are by far the better side these last five minutes.
It's a great job by Martinez getting down quickly.
It was a good looking strike from sharp, plenty of power on it.
And now here comes the corner kick in a foul called against Sheffield.
We'll see how much time they add on to the end of the second half year.
Extra time may be inevitable at this point.
Thank you, Josh, for joining the broadcast.
What's going on, Josh? Glad to have you along.
What Higgins has been in the F A Cup quarter finals between Sheffield United and ****nal.
Feeling I have tied it up in the 87th minute.
It's 11 And since it is an F A Cup quarter final, we need a winner today so over time might be needed, and we may have an additional 30 minutes in this one.
Just like yesterday between Norwich and men, a man united.
Yeah, that that went to extra time.
McGwire wanted in the 118th minute.
They'll be five minutes of stoppage time, though.
Here, add on to the 90 this game, not regulation.
I should say not over yet and ****nal looking took pay off and on the counter attack. Here's a chance.
Cutting back and holding on to it for too long was Pepe Pearson bios, and he scored a goal.
Isa bios the substitute in the 91st minute as my as might have just wanted.
Yes, goal, indeed. Unbelievable.
Sheffield United had just tied it up four minutes ago and they had to money numbers up.
I think they needed to have.
They need to be short up at the back, but they weren't and it laid it for survives.
The first touch got him wide open. Dean Henderson.
You got a question as well what he was doing.
He came out too far out, I think.
And it wasn't tight angle to be fair.
And so vials did well on the finish and he might have just won the game for ****nal and have he might have just moved them on to the F A Cup semifinals.
Yeah, that was a narrow angle here, and he slid it right by Henderson.
Nicely done by Sabaya's, an absolute disappointment on the face of Chris Wilder, Sheffield thought they had forced extra time.
There is still some time left, but it might be too late.
91st minute and at Sheffield one, ****nal to the goals starting toe come in late and furiously here.
Wow, big time finish right there.
By the way, it is Socrates who is coming on for Pepe, just the third substitution of the game for ****nal that they had the first goal.
It looks like a bombings not gonna come in for ****nal.
Actually, I thought he would, but looks like he's not going unless this, unless Sheffield were able to tie it up here in the final few minutes of this one.
You never know, though this game is not over yet, were in the 93rd minute, five at it on, although with that goal will probably be six added on now.
Wow, completely against the run of play to ****nal clinical on the counter attack.
It's nicely done by the Gunners, and that might be the game winner.
Let's not speak too soon.
Foul is called against McGoldrick, time running out for the Blades and the frustration starting to kick in for Sheffield.
They've got to stay calm, though if they want to try to get the equalizer laid on ****nal.
All the focus for them on the defense event.
No Liana Martinez Taking time on the free kick and not quite able to keep that in was Kieran Tierney.
Sheffield, with a minute and a little bit of change, left ****nal so so close to joining Man United in the semi finals of the F A Cup.
They won't know who they're gonna play if they do indeed come out with the victory until the draw takes place.
Meanwhile, a big collision here.
So Bios is down flat called for the foul and ah, more time to tick off the clock for ****nal Now it wasn't anything.
Ah, intentional from Fleck, it seemed, but let's see the replay here.
Yeah, I mean, you can't go up like that with your cleat.
That was a dangerous play indeed.
And the correct decision to call a fell thank you workshop for joining the broadcast appreciate you tuning in here on SportsCastr.
Well, we've hit the minimum of five.
It's a stoppage time, I'd assume is going to be at least another minute, though tacked on Sheffield.
Do they have one last chance.
Well, here they come and a foul called them really Sharp called for the infringement.
That might just be the last opportunity that Sheffield had.
Well, the final whistle will blow any second at this point, and Sheffield are gonna be knocked out of the quarter finals of the F A Cup.
****nal are gonna be moving on.
The semifinals will take place in three weeks time.
The final will take place the week after the Premier League season comes to an end.
So I believe it's August 2nd.
If I'm not mistaken, it will be the week before the Champions League resumes.
I should be an epic month.
August In the Champions League, there is the final whistle.
It's all over from Sheffield, England at Sheffield United.
One ****nal to the final.
This was an exciting game.
****nal were the better side in the first half, apparently kicked from Nikolas Cup A was what got them the lead.
But then in the second half, Sheffield, we're a lot better and they were on the front foot, creating chance of the chance, but seem like ****nal were going to close out.
That wasn't the case, though.
Originally, when McGoldrick tied up in the 87th minute.
It seemed like we were heading into extra time at that point.
But then it waas ****nal and Danny survives the substitute with a great finish in stoppage time.
The 91st minute who gets them the winner and punches their ticket into the semifinals.
Wow, what a game! Let's roll the replay of the highlights, I should say, shall we in the 23rd minute? Well, this was the penalty kick that was given, Ah, clumsy challenge from Basham.
And it was inside the box, just barely lacquers that went down Nicholas Pepe at the spot.
It's a calm, cool and collected finish nicely done by Pepe.
Left footed strike bottom right corner.
****nal took the lead, then moving on into the second half.
In the 60th minute, it was Sheffield United who had a great chance.
It was actually bashing with the opportunity.
It was a perfect delivery into the area towards the back post and passion really should've done better with the head or couldn't even get it on frame.
Then, in the 87th minute, the gold finally would come for Sheffield ****nal, just making a mess at the back trying to clear it.
It deflected right into the pathway of McGoldrick, who made no mistake about it.
Looks like we're heading to extra time, as I said.
But then in the 91st minute, dance the vials on the counter attack with a beautiful finished the near post.
Dean Henderson closing in on him.
But it didn't matter for survival.
US as the substitute is the hero today and has won the game for the Gunners, ****nal to Chef Field, United One and ****nal finally have something to smile about, as that will do it for my broadcast here on SportsCastr ****nal.
Moving on to the one they defeat Sheffield United on to the semifinals for the Gunners.
I'll see you next time, folks.
I'm Samarie signing off and bye for now.
Hope you enjoy the broadcast.
