Good. There's no lag.
At least that's what I'm hoping.
Um all right, let's get into it, men.
What's up, Nubes? My name is Joe New Beau.
And today we're gonna be talking about Hollywood Brown and why I believe that he could be in the conversation for the best receiver in the A F C North.
Okay, so hear me out.
Now, I understand if you're like a Bengals fan or a Browns fan or a Steelers fan and you see this, you're gonna come into this video and you're gonna be like, How could you say that? You are absolutely ridiculous.
Do you even watch football? Do you know what you're talking about, right? I expect that.
I expect him to get a lot of that.
But let me tell you why.
I think Hollywood Brown should at least be considered after this season.
I think he will be considered one of the best receivers in the A f.
North because of the year he is going to have this next season.
Um, I think he's gonna absolutely ball out.
And and I have some reasons why because, you know, I understand If you don't watch the Ravens as much as I do as a Ravens fan, you know there's certain things that you might not pick up on like we do, right? So let me explain to you, Hollywood Brown had almost 600 yards last season in this rookie season, right? Uh, which is pretty good for a rookie.
That was this rookie season, first year in the league, 600 yards. Not bad.
Now you guys know for people that have been watching me for a while, they know that I was not a huge fan of Hollywood Brown.
I did not want the Ravens to drafted him.
I was actually pretty ****ed that the Ravens drafted him.
I have to admit so, but he's proven me wrong, man.
He's absolutely prove me wrong.
I've seen things out of Hollywood Brown that I did not expect to see.
See what I thought is that Hollywood Brown was just that deep threat that you take a gamble on right.
He's a speed receiver and that's all he can do.
But he's much more than that and and he showed me that when I when I got to see him play on the Ravens.
He great route runner.
He has, you know, he's developing into that and just his deep ball tracking men.
And he makes plays in the clutch like he makes some clutch catches.
It's hard to explain, but, like Lamar Jackson and Hollywood, Brown have this connection that it is just so hard to explain what it is.
But they do right, and it might be that they're both from down there in South Florida.
But I don't know if that's what it is, but it's something Hollywood and Lamar have a connection, and I think that's something that a lot of people were concerned about.
Um, when the Ravens did draft Hollywood, Brown was.
If Lamar could get the ball to Hollywood, Brown right.
But I think there's a misconception about Lamar that I want to put out there is that that he's super inaccurate.
That's not the case at all.
That is not the case at all.
He's not inaccurate.
I think that he does miss some throws, but not necessarily because of inaccuracy.
The reason he misses throws.
In my opinion, if you guys want to hear this, Um, is because he places the ball wrong.
He misplaces the ball.
That's what I think, A lot of his throws that you see that air just off the mark.
They look like good throws and they look like if they were just placed in the right spot on the field, it would have been an amazing throw.
There's been so many throws that I saw from Lamar last season that if they were just, you know, they would be overthrown just a tad or under throw just a tad, and he would either overestimate or underestimate the speed of the receiver.
So if Lamar can just fix that and obviously that's going to come with time playing in the NFL playing NFL games, that development that Lamar is going to go through as a passer, Um, if he can just fix that, you're going to see a lot more deep balls to Hollywood Brown.
It's gonna be on point.
There were already some balls that were super on point.
I mean, the one against the Cardinals, just one that really comes to mind.
So I think that Hollywood Brown could have a great season also, something I haven't mentioned is that he had to screw too big screws in his feet.
I think it was two might have been three huge screws in his feet while he was playing his rookie season, and you could see it on the field because when Hollywood would catch a ball, you can see he had so many chances to just keep going or like juke somebody out or Aveda tackle and just keep going.
And he could probably could have gone to the house, But he didn't.
He would instead, like either go out of bounds or slide because he knew that he was hurt, man.
He had the screws in his feet, so it cut that.
And also he was very I mean, he was a small dude.
Let's be honest here.
What? When he came into the league, I think he was like 1 60 But ah, but that was another.
That was another factor.
I think that he had the screws in his feet and he's a small dude, so he just hey didn't want to get hit right last season.
But now he doesn't have that problem anymore.
He doesn't have the screws in his feet.
They got taken out.
He's put on muscle.
I think he's put on at least £15 of muscle. It has to be.
He looks huge, man.
He's looking buff.
He's looking ripped.
Um, I'm telling you, man, expect Hollywood Brown to have a big breakout season in a second year.
I'm predicting at least 1000 yards.
I might even go as at least 1100 yards.
That's what I and again, I'm not the biggest Hollywood brown guy.
You guys know this.
I'm not a huge Hollywood Brown fan.
I just have this gut feeling that Hollywood Brown is gonna have that connection with Lamar and you're going to see a lot more of that.
It's gonna be special, man.
It's gonna be special.
I think that Hollywood Brown is gonna break out big, and and a big part of that is because of the way we drafted to with Devin Duvernay and James Pro Shea.
I think you're going to see the Ravens attack the middle of the field a lot more, and that's going to open up some spots for Hollywood Brown on the outside for him to get some big gains.
So that's what I'm expecting man, let me know your thoughts down below.
I know if you're, you know, a fan of the A F C North teams of Bangles fan the Steelers and or a Browns fan, you're gonna tell me how is he going to be better than O.
J Jarvis Landry, right? How is he going to be better than A J.
Green are or whoever else they got? Tyler Boyd, right? Juju Smith Schuster If you think he's a good receiver, which I mean, he's not bad, but whatever, I think he's a little overrated.
That being said, though, I think Hollywood Brown should at least be in the conversation right now.
And if you don't believe so, he will prove it to you this season, and I think you will have to put him in that conversation after this.
This season is said and done, so yeah, that's how I feel.
Guys, let me know what you think.
I'll see you guys in the next in the next video that I'm already screwing up here.
Thank you guys. So much for coming out here.
I'll see you guys next time.
