Ladies and gentlemen, this is your guy, Simeon Russell from SportsCastr News, And I'm here to talk to my Chicago Bulls fans today.
Lloyd marketing reports have it.
He may not get a contract extension as of yet.
Look, newly minted vice president of basketball operations are tourists on his shoulders.
And I wanted to make sure I got his name said correctly.
It is definitely got a crucial decision making his first year.
But Lloyd Marketing, Ladies and Gentlemen, seven footer he's due for a contract extension is early as the upcoming off season, but it seems like Karnisovas is going to be patient and take a wait and see approach, which, in my opinion, is probably the smart thing to do when it comes to Lloyd Marketing.
All right, look, Lloyd Marketing when you he's been in the league for three years now, okay? And when you look at his numbers, they look very good, but he's been injury prone.
17 4018 Lawyer marketing was a rookie, right? Played 68 games as a rookie average as a rookie average.
Where am I? Let me let me let me find it here.
He averaged 15 points per game, 7.
5 Read Malady shot 43% from the field, UH, 36% with three very good numbers as a rookie.
He played 52 games.
Averaged 18.7 points per game.
Nine rebounds per game shot 43% from the field, 36% from three 19 4020 this past season.
And, of course, we all know it was ended due to the Corona virus.
You played 50 of the 65 games, All right, so you missed 15 games.
Who knows what would have happened for the remainder of the season? But he played 50 to 65 games.
This production dipped just a little bit.
7 points per game, 6.
3 rebounds per game.
Three point percentage dipped, 34% field goal percentage dipped to about 42.5%.
So I don't think it's very smart for the Chicago Bulls to take a wait and see approach our lawyer marketing.
But the question is how Lloyd market and feel about Karnishovas and the Chicago Bulls taking a wait and see approach on him.
How will he feel about that? Um, it's hard to say.
Will he become disgruntled? Overly understand? I mean, you know, if I'm Lloyd marketing, and I think I look at my history as a player in the N B A, my injury history and all those kind of things to say, you know, maybe it's a smart move of by the organization, But of course, as a player, I want my money as soon as I can get it.
You don't want to take any chances.
You want that contract extension because of the injury history, right? So he may understand the side of the organization.
But as a player and as agent you like, Listen, you've got an injury history.
We want to get this money now.
You know it's not an easy decision for Karnishovas.
You know he's got a lot to think about what lawyer marketing.
But again, I think he's taking the right approach.
The question is going to be, you know, how Laurie market and feel about it.
Will he become disgruntled? There's already been rumors out there that lorry marketing was not happy with the front office in the way in the direction of the Chicago Bulls.
Is this just more Teoh? Add to the Flames? Who knows? I don't know.
So then the question becomes in the snowballs.
If he's unhappy, is he put on the trade market? You know, I would think that.
You know, Karnishovas wants to get a good look at Lori marketing and see if he can, uh, if he can blossom into the star, that many people thinking going to come.
So you do want to get a good look at him whenever the season is going to start December.
Whenever who knows if it's going to be a short season? If it is gonna be a shortened season, that could benefit lawyer marketing, giving his injury history when a pretty short Karnisovas wants to get a good look at him and be able to evaluate whether or not this guy's going to blossom to be a superstar in the league.
I wouldn't expect that he's gonna be on the trade market this offseason.
You know, a very short off season that while a long in short off season out, the whole thing is a little mixed up in confusing.
You know that October time frame between the end of the finals and free agency that starts in October 18th until I think training camp begins in November.
You gotta short off season there.
Will it be on the trade market? Listen, I've always been one person who says any player, any player, get on it can be on the trade market.
So, yes, he could be on the trade market with the Bulls.
Want to trade him? I think they probably want to get another look at him to see if he deserves an extension and what kind of an extension.
And if he's gonna blossom to be a stop now he's on a chain market.
What kind of teams will be looking for? Well, I could tell you one that may be in the market form the New York Knicks.
I'm a New York Knicks fan, and one thing that we are looking for.
We're looking for a stretch four.
The New York Knicks are looking for a stretch, for they lost Kristaps Porzingis, and I'm not saying lawyer marketing is Kristaps Porzingis, But he fits the mold, and he fits the bill as a stretch for that could shoot the ball from three good, rebound the basketball and maybe do some work in the post A little bit might fit that bill.
We don't know how the Knicks are gonna feel Leon roles in the New York Knicks.
They're gonna feel about Julius Randle.
Julius Randle doesn't really stretch the floor, you know.
He he shot 28% from three this season.
Julius Randle has a lot to work on in defining in, ah, Re defies redefining his gain to play in a team concept and who knows who the next coach is going to be? Hopefully that coach is going to be ableto, you know, draw and Julius Randle in helping play a better team game.
But if not, he could be on the move If he's if he just doesn't fit.
Just work with the Knicks and the Knicks would be looking for a stretch.
That discussion on a few of my show was about lawyer market.
And, of course, the trepidation is.
What about his injury history? You know, they're you know, people get afraid.
Is he going to be injury prone for his entire career? just a couple of things to think about.
Chicago Bulls fans.
That's a prize product right there.
What do you think? Leaving in the comments section.
I want to know what you guys think about it.
That's a pretty sure we're gonna get back to this topic.
It's not gonna go away.
It's going to be more to discuss on this topic.
All right, so Chicago Bulls fans leaving into comments.
Tell me what you think about Lori Marketing.
Um, you know what? What do the Chicago Bulls do? And when? If you're Laurie marketing, what do you do? How do you feel about it? I think the Bulls are gonna take a wait and see approach.
Do you feel that's the right thing to do? You feel like lawyer Market? It should be disgruntled.
Didn't want to move on from the Chicago Bulls.
If they do take a wait and see approach instead of giving him a contract extension right away.
Not to think about.
Talk about leaving in the comments section again.
