Yo, what's up? It's good beer, champ.
66 in the building started a new broadcast.
And recently we've been doing, um, hope youll staying healthy and during these quarantine times.
So, yeah, I hope you'll stay healthy during this quarantine times.
But today we got a bit of a different type of broadcast.
So recently we've been doing and be a re drafts and be a, um um, reaction sportal quizzes.
But today it's gonna be kind of an all talk.
Today we're basically going to sit there and just talk about reasons why these MBA free agents were in the war in free agency right now.
Should get signed to a free agent team this before the restart.
So if you didn't know the n ba has allowed N b A teams that are participating in the restart to sign players that they could help divide their teams.
I think, though limit is toe like July 15th or something like that.
So and there's these are there are a few free agents that have had good good stats and been good role player for team.
Some of them are really old.
Some of them have potential most of them are veterans that Pete the team just don't really want to give the money to because they don't think they will be worth that.
But I feel like at the end of the day, some of these playoff teams could use them.
Teams are trying to get in the playoffs, could use them.
I feel like all these guys could be a potential target for teams, and I'm going to name all the 10 free agents that I believe should get should be signed and where I think they could and up going.
So let's start off.
Um, don't really have a taker icon.
So you just gotta listen to it.
Um, But this I believe these guys deserve to be signed.
Shot a bubble boy, too 209 for doing the broadcast.
Much appreciated these 10 guys, I believe, how are great players that can be impact X factors to these teams trying to get in or already in trying to maintain for the playoff position? Um, so let's start coming in one of the no in no specific order.
Let's start eso one of the guys that I believe should get signed, and I feel like, actually, you know, I'm just gonna go from order guys, Actually, not really.
I don't really know.
So one guy that I believe should get sign has been a multiple time All Star have been a defense.
A player of the year was played for the Knicks and the Clippers recently hasn't been that great shot of to the power hour for during the broadcast.
This guy hasn't been great as recently, but definitely has that playoff experience.
That veteran experience is really great defensively.
Still is his offensive game.
Isn't that good anymore? Um, what is going on with Trevor Arreaza? Uh, you know, I actually, um, don't really know.
So, uh, I don't really know what's going on with Trevor Rees.
I can search it off.
I want to see what you're making me curious.
Sam, you're making me curious making me curious.
Uh, you're making me curious.
Oh, shoot. I love internet.
It's my house and one of Internet.
How is that even possible? There is, um, to sit out the Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I I knew this.
I just completely I forgot because he did.
He was not gonna be a part of the island traveling.
That's something with this son I don't even remember.
It was just a I literally saw this.
I just quick land through is because I was like, I was looking at the n b a up for some fridges that I might have forgot in off the top of my head.
And I saw a quick glance in trouble.
Arreaza and I didn't even remember I saw something.
A lot of a reason I didn't even bother to look at it.
But he's not gonna be part of it, which is a very interesting case, because I believe he is.
Trevor Arreaza is, um, a great defensive wing for Portland, even though he's not his offense itself, not his self in general, when it comes to, um when it comes to like how good he was because he was a great corner shooter, three point shooters in time.
Now he's just a solid role player, but he definitely can do stuff on a team and very impactful.
So that's a That's a pretty big plot twist.
In my opinion, that's a pretty big plot twist.
Um, but yeah, this first free agent.
You look at the stats.
I mean, the stats, he doesn't He doesn't play from the staff, but overall, he is.
Um I don't know how old he recent He's 35 years old, recently played with the Clippers and next, the Grizzlies.
He played well with the Grizzlies on the time being when he played for that team last year.
We're talking about a multiple time All Star and a all in be a first team guy, but now is just old and doesn't really do much.
And people the team don't want to take a chance on him.
But I feel like he could really do a lot on the defensive, and especially for teams trying to compete on.
And that is joke him.
Noah, now joking.
No, might be one of the guys on this list that aren't are out of the obvious.
I feel like a lot of guys on this list are better than joke him.
Him, Noah is don't forget a defense, a player off.
The years he is, he is washed, But I just feel like he could do something.
Maybe I've maybe for a team like the Rockets in need of a back.
A What kind of center? Um, I'm thinking he's got Keegan plan a competing team.
Um, clippers didn't like him.
I don't know if he will try to get him back.
Um, the rockets need starting center.
Yeah, that's true.
Jo Kim, I don't really like him as a starting center.
I don't I feel like at Max, he plays like 15 20 minutes gain.
I feel like that.
And he has to be in life.
Started fears of time because now he's a free agent.
I'm trying to think of teams that could use him on the Lakers.
Almost targets for, like, every single person.
But I they're not getting in because JaVale McGee, Anthony Davis toy Howard.
They're not getting in, um, in a minimal role.
Yeah, that's basically that's basically what it's about with him, because I feel like he's kind of gets a chance even though I feel like he won't do much in that chance.
I feel like he deserves to get a kind of a chance.
Try to think of teams off the top of my head.
Maybe my mammy for a backups, maybe.
Um mentoring bam on a bio.
Help, um, get into the playoffs board.
Um, I was thinking maybe the Celtics if you don't have a Celtics fan, and I really didn't like that idea.
I saw some articles about that.
I really don't like that idea.
Even though our sent our front court might be the weakest part in our rotation, which is saying something because are we got Daniel Tyson? Robert Williams, who are completely fine? I completely like I like that, um, so I don't know, maybe I'm just trying to say teams that can compete.
Yes, and it's cancerous.
So bad offensively.
Yeah, it's sober.
Enis Kanter is the your worst defensive center in the like the entire n b A.
I don't really like anise cancer.
Yeah, not not even though, even though you can't believe I really don't like him.
He's a good offensive center.
No, I don't expect him to do much.
Um, yeah, I don't really expected him to do much, to be honest, but give him a chance.
I feel like he could do something, I guess.
That's what I'm going to say about.
All right, Now this time my this guy is actually a guy that overall is almost the exact same.
A joke? No, but I think we can kind of uhm joke him.
Noah has really not done much, but this I asked, done much, has done a lot a few things in his old age, even though I feel like he's almost as old as joking.
No, I'm gonna double check that.
But he's a really solid wing he's had.
He's basically been known for his dunking.
He doesn't have that same athleticism anymore, but in the wings and shoot, he plays good perimeter defense.
And overall, I mean, he's really he was supposed to be a highlight reel. Not really.
You can still throw down those dogs, but overall, he could be a good shooter.
He used to play for the Houston Rockets.
I think he got injured.
And then they released it.
Yeah, Yeah, Sam got it. Sam.
It is Gerald Green now.
I don't me Gerald Green.
Um I feel like overall.
Like when you play.
He wasn't even that bad.
Um, come on. Come on, Sam.
I mean, I get he shoot.
That's basically what he's now.
But like, what else? Can you defend him on the yoke? OK, um um, that's just your opinion.
He's been a shooting guards Law small forward for the past couple of years, averaging nine points per game.
He's even though he shoots three. She's kind of efficient.
He's the 36% 3 point shooter.
He does shoot a lot, though.
He shoots like 67 a game.
Harold Greene was insane back then in two K.
He was like, Really? He was insane back.
Alan, Um, he has a few years or he didn't play, but basically you he was just known as a dunker.
But now I believe that he can Still, he's a 34 year old. Happy moment.
But I feel like you can.
He can give you more than joking, Noah.
I think you could probably agree by that.
He's a pretty efficient shooter.
And at the end of the day, um, like, at the end of the day, kick it out to be played with hard in that experiment worked kind of well, that that experiment work, Ma, he just got injured.
They got, like, other guys like Daniel House. Eric Gordon P.
J. Tucker. They didn't really need him.
So maybe teams that have a good playmaking point guy.
Okay, See one of the themes I can think of, um, like, the Lakers aren't targets like every person, Um, maybe a team.
Now, that's not that's not happening.
I was gonna say the Jazz, but I don't really think that would happen.
Um, or maybe you sent emails trying to get in.
Um, a team that is trying to get in, maybe like a team like the Pacers could use him.
Um, but I really don't really.
He'd be a backup, some afford.
Um, that's a weird thing to say about a championship contender.
How they have so many needs.
That's a knock to the Lakers, okay? They don't have needs.
It feels like they're in rumors to target everybody.
And I mean, I've seen, like, their unlike rumors to target everybody.
And I just like, I can't just help but not saved because it feel like they don't really need not many people.
They don't really need many people, but yeah, like I agree with you on that one.
It just kind of feels very like very ah makes make them a bad team.
But there are a great t their championship contenders.
I think like literally this offseason, like, almost like a lot of people just like left Lakers.
Now they had to, like three orkest.
And then they got like when they had, like, Anthony Davis, they had, like, they treated everybody.
They traded everybody.
Lance Stephenson like tasting Chandler like, um, like, yeah, they all went all in with LeBron and 80.
I mean, a site which working out those working out.
I mean, they're like the best team in the West.
And even though I believe that I believe the Clippers are slightly better team, then the Lakers there a deeper team.
The okay, in a few years, I'll say in a few years.
A few years? Not now.
Yeah, um I feel like the Clippers are deeper TV then the, um l a Lakers.
But the Lakers definitely have a few.
Like they might have a bit more star power.
Um, so yeah, I believe yoke.
It is the best center and Jamal Murray's.
He could be underrated at troubled times because he can score the ball and shoot the ball pretty well.
Um, at Yokich is probably the best center in the N B A.
In my opinion, um, so but yeah, onto Darrell Green.
Um, I'm like BZ got traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He's been balling ever since he got there, though. Check up his stats.
He's been balling ever since he got, um, Jared Jared Green.
He'd be a good three point shooter along with, um, good three point shooter along with, like, a team that needs three point shooting.
He because that's what basically, get in the corner, shoot the ball.
And if he's efficient, he could work well for a teen.
I'll God one of the lower tier guys on my list, but it's still a guy on my list.
Um, so coming in at the another free agent that I believe, well, be a solid actually, I'm gonna put him in the same category is like Gerald Creed.
I'm saying, say, it's Iman Shumpert.
He's again was known for jumping and high ups, but now he's basically a three point shooter.
I liked his game, but I don't really have much to say about him overall.
He played, I think he played for Brooklyn.
He was, like, on a 10 day contract, and he deserved He doesn't know he played 13 games.
He played terrible the past few times.
He was not efficient.
But back then, back when he was on you, your he gave us quality minutes, nine points.
He shoots a lot even in, but even But you condone, kind of.
If if you need, like, a three at the buzzer, maybe he'll maybe make it.
I guess, um has played in 2011 has played for plenty of teams. He will.
I liked him. I liked him the best on Cleveland.
Even though he didn't play his minutes winning that championship.
He was a still a really important part to that team.
And same teams like Gerald Green.
He can still be that guy.
Um and yeah, that's basically what all I'm gonna say about, but number 40 yeah, by the way, Sam, they got, um, Malik Beasley.
So they that was part of the D.
That was part of the D'Angelo Russell trade.
Think I also really gave up Juan Hernangomez in that deal, which was, um, it was like a not only when I didn't even get many people.
Um, I got a look at the roster now.
All right. See you, Sam.
Good to have good having you on the show.
Kate abates. Yup.
Noah Vonleh A That that probably be it then.
That will probably be it.
Because all these guys were on that team originally, but like I was saying, Sam kind of got me off guard right there. Blood.
At the end of the day, you ask questions in the comments.
It's basically how it goes.
So, um, I've stated before because Iman Shumpert I don't really have much to say about him.
I'm the art there for during the broadcast.
Um, but number four.
So I had joke him.
Noah, Gerald Green, Iman Shumpert.
You really won't expect much from them, but they'll give you quality production.
But these guys have proven to give you Ah ah, lot in some time.
But this guy is the definition of a veteran.
He had good years back.
