All right, Hurry on yet.
All right, you guys, What's going on? It's your boy.
Read back at it again with another broadcast.
Now we've got ourselves a banger.
Today, lots of new information came out on NFL dot com.
CBS Sports and I put together some of that information to tell you guys the three teams that are reportedly interested and reportedly interested in signing Colin Kaepernick Now, obviously, this would have not happened if it wasn't for the protests of George Floyd's death, which would be getting into a second.
And, uh, don't mind that sounds just lawnmowers.
But we'll be telling you guys about you know how this impacts Colin Kaepernick and I'll give you the three teams that are interested and breaking them.
Which one eats to sign camera at the most one for free.
So obviously, if you haven't known already, Colin Kaepernick still free agent.
And if you also don't know the NFL has publicly supported the movement against, um, systematic oppression of black people in the US Uh, now they can put their money where their mouth is signed.
Colin Kaepernick, the man who is dragged the issue, um, to the forefront of the league since 2016.
Kaepernick hasn't played a lot of professional football since the end of this 2016 a season, but its track record as a starting quarterback should help him get back into the league some way.
Um, he'll find a way back into the league.
Well, there, that's as a backup.
Or, as you know, whatever else.
So obviously, you have to really take into consideration that you know, Kaepernick doesn't have an injury history, so he's not like him.
Newton in the sense check.
Um, so obviously, there's a lot just to take in a signing Kaepernick.
And you know, really, any team that has cabs basic, it's on Kaepernick and you know, Kaepernick.
Whether he's going to be a starting quarterback on a team or a backup or even 1/3 string quarterback, you know he's going Teoh.
Yeah, he's going the one a lot of money because he hasn't played the sport in three years and he still thinks he's good as he Waas three years ago.
So, obviously, you know it's gonna be hard to negotiate a deal of Kaepernick, but I definitely think it could get done.
Um, you know these free teams that I'm about.
The name has some of the best well run organizations in the entire league.
So I have no doubts in my mind that none of these three teams could at least, you know, give him an option of, uh, Justin offered contract.
I've no doubt in my mind that TheStreet teams could not do that, so let's go to get into it.
So team number one and the team that has been, you know, reportedly interested in signing Cabinet the most, the Baltimore Ravens.
And obviously the Ravens have had one of the best off seasons in the entire league.
They've just been, you know, kicking team's bus left and right.
I mean, they got placed camera for 1/5 round pick from the Jaguars, just among other moves.
You know, the draft drafted a Dobbins Patrick Queen filling in your really your only two needs.
Obviously, they could go for today Viane clarity that helped pass rush.
But you're coming off a 14 issue season with one of the best offenses in the league.
So one of the better offensive lines, despite losing Marshal Yanda, I mean this team for scary.
She thought it was good last year.
This year it looks to be even flipping better.
So with that being said, I definitely think that the Ravens have the best shot at landing capture Nick, and they've also been interested of a lot of Kaepernick of signing him.
And obviously, he will not become the starter with the Ravens.
You're not going to bench Lamar Jackson for a veteran that's been out of the sport for three years, but the back of a quarterback is Robert Griffin. The third.
Your third string is trace McSorley.
If you sign UH, cat Kaepernick trace McSorley will be on the practice squads and don't have to worry about him.
But we saw what Greg Room and the offense of coordinator could do with RG free last year.
I mean, they ran the Heisman Package with Mark Jackson, Mark Ingram and RG free, and that worked amazing against the Cincinnati Bangles.
You know, if you get it would be a better version of Cat of RG Free.
You know how much better the hyphen package would be.
That's just that's just in my mind that if you upgrade at the position that you're using a lot, just quarterback.
You know you're going to get better results.
And plus, if you sign Kaepernick, you get more insurance.
If Lamar or RG three suffers an injury, so you don't have to worry about, you know, signing somebody halfway through the season, just a replace, you know, hold a quarterback.
So signing Kaepernick use you some insurance.
It gives you a little bit more creativity.
The Ravens have cap space to do it, so it's not like, you know, they don't have any captain, you know, sign anybody on the market.
So they've got flexibility there.
And not to mention that Kaepernick is also familiar with the Ravens playbook.
And the Ravens steam from this year as Greg Roman was the offense of coordinator with the 40 Niners from 2012 to 2014.
And that was four of the six years Kaepernick played with 40 Niners.
So, you know, it's not like putting.
I don't know Tom Brady on the Bears, where he has no experience in that Maggie's offense, you know, like he's familiar with the system, so it's not going to take him a full season or two for him to actually learn.
Um, you know the playbook.
So, actually, is a raven more flexibility? If they didn't already have enough with this trade, That's just in my opinion.
No, I think this could be, you know, it would just give the Ravens one of the better backups in the league toe Lamar Jackson in the event that he gets injured.
Kaepernick is nowhere near as dynamic S Lamar Jackson, but he would allow the Ravens to run the same type of offense.
It's not like you're signing, you know Tom Brady out of free agency, where Tom Brady is the exact opposite.
Uh, Lamar Jackson, where Brady is not Movil.
And the more is not as accurate is Brady.
If you suit I mean, they're both very similar players, so that's always a good thing.
Um, very similar just gives the Ravens you know, so much flexibility toward a deal like this.
They've already got some of the best.
You know, tackles in the league offense have tackled by the way, and Rocky Stanley, Orlando Brown.
They have a dynamic tight end and bark.
Andrews counted running backs in March, uhm Mark Ingram, along with drafted J.
Dobbins, and then you finally add speed demon at wide receiver in marquees Brown.
It's hard to imagine you know better landings faucet Kaepernick than the Ravens.
So that's my number one team.
The Baltimore Ravens don't really need to explain it too much more.
You know, I just It's a match made in heaven.
Yes, that's team number one thes second team might be a little bit of a stretch as 1/3 team as well, but the kids City Chiefs are also our next team.
So Kansas City would also be a dynamic fit for Kaepernick right now that she's have Chad Henny as your backup quarterback, and he hasn't thrown more than 100 passes in a season since 2013.
So it's not like he has a real edge over Kaepernick in terms of recent taking time.
Henny has just thrown five passes since the 2016 season, so you know he's been behind very talented players in Jacksonville.
He was behind Blake Bortles.
Obviously, the boat was far better than shot.
Any shot Henny landed in Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes overtaking his job.
So, you know, it's just a little bit of that notion, I guess.
He's been pretty unlucky, but in the you know in the instance of an injury to Mahomes and he becomes a backup or becomes a starter.
Um, in that case, So why not get a guy that's way more talented than Kaepernick or the than Henny in Kaepernick? So Kaepernick is likely one who can sit without the presence of being thrust into a starting role.
It's safe to say that bearing injury, No one will be starting over Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City.
That's just obvious.
My homes is one of the best players in the league, and he's on Lee.
I don't think he's 25 years old yet, so it's not like, you know, Kaepernick would be thrusted into a starting role immediately.
You know, just in case of an injury, were in preseason or if it's Week 17 and the Chiefs have already clinched a playoff spot, you know, put Kaepernick and get him some playing time, you know, work him back into the system back into the role of being a starting NFL quarterback.
So the Chiefs have a lot of flexibility toward that, and they also have a lot of flexibility with coaching and a supporting talent for Kaepernick.
Ah, head coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Air Vianney are Wizards on offense, and the Chiefs have an unbelievably talented group of skill players to help put points on the board.
Cabinet has already had success for into a tight end.
He gets a much better one. And Travis Kelsey.
You also have great speedsters on the outside and Tyree kill Michael Hardman and Sammy Watkins, which would fit very well with Cap Nick's arm string.
Whether that's crossing routes, deep streaks underneath, there's just a lot to like.
If Kaepernick were together, the Chiefs and you know, according to sport track that she's have only a little bit more than $3 million left in cap space, and they still have to sign their rookie class.
So you know, signing Kaepernick might be a problem, but you know it's worth the risk.
If you can get him on a veteran's minimum or sign him for, you know, a very low contract, it's worth it for sure.
Um, cheese or number two? They are interested in getting Kaepernick.
However, that happens with the $3 million if they were to cut one of their veterans that you know doesn't need to play.
I get shot and he's getting paid two million a year.
Cut him, get all the money that you're not paying any anymore.
Give that the Kaepernick.
The Ravens Air one, the Cheese Shirts you and our third team also in the A F.
C. So off creation teams today.
But it's the New England Patriots.
Um, I don't really have to explain too much about why the Patriots would be interested in science. Kaepernick.
First of all, Bill Belichick.
Um, the man could probably sign, you know, some 45 year old MLB pitcher and make him a great quarterback.
So Bill Belichick can definitely make this work.
Plus, you know, the Patriots don't have a quality quarterback on their roster right now.
You know, Brian Hoyer is hold.
Been a while since even a starter.
So he's out of the job much like capper neck.
So the playing field is pretty even when it comes to those two, and you also have foreground pit Jared Stadium.
We don't know if he's going to be starting or not, you know, I don't know.
I don't know how he's going to fit in ballistics, you no offense and Josh McDaniels offense.
I just don't know how that's going the work.
But Kaepernick has proven far more at the NFL level that either sent or Coyer, even if he hasn't played in four seasons.
I mean, Kaepernick, you know, at this time when he's fine with 40 Niners, he proved that some people in certain games that he could be a franchise quarterback.
So it's not like Kaepernick is, You know, a terrible player.
It's just, you know, if he's going to be as good as he waas now, as he used to be, Um, but if you're the Patriots, it's worth taking the risk.
You have an unproven for for home pick that's poised to start Week one, and then you have Hoyer.
So even if the Patriots start stadium all 16 games, why not sign Kabir make and have him as a backup? Q B, just in case of an injury captured.
I could be a great backup quarterback having roster.
Obviously, that's you know what? I think it definitely happen.
Much like the Chiefs, the Patriots don't have a lot of room to spend in free agency anymore.
according the sport track.
The Patriots have about $1.
9 million cap space, and they still need the sign that rookie class.
Unless if Kaepernick is willing to play for the veteran minimum, New England should need to clear out cap space before they bring him in.
But I don't think that's a problem.
You can trade some of your expensive veterans for, you know, 4/5 round picks, so it wouldn't be too much of a problem or a hassle for the Patriots.
But I definitely think this could help the Patriots not make them a playoff team.
But it could definitely make them.
You know, better than a you know, Bottom 10 team in the league.
So those are my three teams have reportedly interested in signing Colin Kaepernick.
I'll give you guys a quick recap, and then we'll be out of here.
So the first team is the Baltimore Ravens.
Second team is the Kansas City Chiefs, and the third team is the New England Patriots.
So you know, Colin Kaepernick store has been open widely to come back as an NFL starting Q B.
Maybe a franchise QB.
His doors wider than Cam Newton's because of injury concerns, the stove somewhat young.
So you know, what's the chances that Cabinet gets signed? We don't know.
But, you know, it's definitely fun to see that Kaepernick still has a shot at potentially taking the reins of an NFL franchise.
So thank you guys so much for watching.
I hope you guys enjoyed this broadcast.
Always make sure they keep Got number one guys.
She has in the next broadcast.
Guys, peace out.
