And welcome into today's broadcast.
I am Samuel Res coming to you Live right here on SportsCastr in This is the Bundesliga.
Well, the match days keep on flying by as we're all of a sudden at matchday 32 with just three games remaining in the season and to kick off matchday 32.
It's a good one between Borussia Moenchengladbach and Vosburgh, and it's a beautiful night at Peru.
Shia Park, 68 F for a 6:30 p.m.
Kick off your on SportsCastr.
Glad to have you all here along.
I'll get to the standings in a minute.
And, uh, these two teams very close in the table.
The points do so are they are separated by quite a number of points, but there's still a ton to play for for both sides.
I'll get to that in the moment, but this is that cruciate park, so I can't avoid bringing up that at Bruce. You Munchengladbach.
They do have caught cardboard cutout fans in the in the crowd, so obviously no real fans allowed in the stadium.
That's all these games being played in front of empty stands.
But Brucia Moenchengladbach.
They got innovative and got some cardboard cutouts to put in the stance to try to make it as realistic as possible, which is Ah, it's pretty cool, I'd say.
And now let's look at the table, shall we? Munchengladbach currently in fifth place but they're on 56 points there, just one point behind Lever accusing for that fourth and final Champions League spot.
Meanwhile, Vosburg right behind Gladbach in six place But Vosburg are 10 points behind Gladbach, currently on 46 points.
So Champions League already not a possibility for Wolfsburg but Europa League definitely is that sixth spot is the final spot for Europa League place and there are only three points above seventh place is still a whole lot toe play for from Salzburg in order to secure Ah Europa League Birth.
Let's to meet the starting lineup first for the home side in Bruges, in which in Gladbach as usual in net is Yann Sommer.
In the back we got liner Ginter l've Eddie and event.
Meanwhile, the midfield for Gladbach looks like this Hoffman Noi house, Stindl, Kraemer and try or a and then the lone striker up top will be Brill and below.
So M Below gets the start up up top for Gladbach know Patrick Hermann in the starting lineup.
An interesting decision from head coach Marco Rosa Gladbach, coming off of a disappointing 21 loss, quite frankly, against Byron at the weekend, a game in which they played pretty well, to be honest with you and ah, you know, it was unfortunate they were giving everything.
They've got to try to get a point out of it.
In the end, Byron found a way to win with that Leon Goretzka finish in the 86th minute in a bad give away from summer is what turned out to be, Ah, the desire in that one.
But we'll see if God luck and bounce back tonight.
Meanwhile, Holtzberg, they will start Casteels in goal.
In the vac will be Gerhard, the American John Brooks, along with Plan Rogich and M.
Meanwhile, in the midfield it will be Victor Schlager, Klaus, Arnold and Stephan and then the loan forward.
Up top for the wayside will be ***ue, Horst and both teams going with a 451 formation in this game.
They are led by head coach Oliver Glassner and it's it's been pretty, pretty solid season from Wolfsburg.
But as I mentioned, they do have a chance.
Ah, legitimate chance to make the Europa League, currently in sixth place, still a whole lot to play for.
It's gonna be a battle to the very end between, you know, the 6th 7th 8th and even ninth place for that final Europa League spot.
Thank you, Thomas, for joining the broadcast.
Glad to have you tuning in, Thomas as we are approaching kickoff just going over the starting lineups along with ah, the position that both these teams a run in the table as we just have three games remaining remaining.
After today, they'll just be two games left.
And this is the first game of matchday 32 as Ah, this is the lone game happening at 6:30 p.m. Local time.
They'll be three games at 8 30 local time in Germany.
Uh, when the one that everyone will have their eyes on is very Bremen against Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich, with a chance to clinch the title.
A win tonight would do them just that.
Meanwhile, the likes of Dorfman and Leipzig will all be in action tomorrow and ah, yes, So it's ah matched a occurring midweek.
Fortunately for the Bundesliga, I mean, it helps, first of all, that there's just 18 teams in the league, so you don't have You don't have 38 games in the season.
Like the Premier League, Syria and La Liga.
It's just 34 games.
So that helps with four last games toe wrap up the season.
What also helped is that they got their league back and running in mid May, so they only needed to mid week match days.
This is one of them.
They had another midweek match date, Uh, about three or four weeks ago.
That's when Bayern Munich played Brucia. Dorfman.
I believe that was three weeks ago, but for the most part, it's just been one game a week for every team in the Bundesliga because they're in no rush to really get it done in even just having to mid week match days, they're still going to get the season done by the last week of June.
So just just a week and 1/2 from today is when the Bundesliga season will come to an end.
Meanwhile, you have the leagues like the Primer League La Liga in Syria who are just getting back to action about a whole month after the Bundesliga got started.
And, uh, they have two more matches or through four more match days in the Bundesliga to start with and to go along with that, they also they also started later.
As I said, So pretty much all of those leagues, they're gonna have mid week matches pretty much every week until the season comes to an end.
I mean, we see Laciga, they have games pretty much every day.
They're gonna have 32 straight days of games, which is absolutely incredible.
Um, the serious, A similar schedule that primarily as well.
So all of those teams are gonna be playing two games a week, pretty much for 56 weeks straight, which is it's gonna be It's gonna be a grind for sure.
And luckily for the Bundesliga, they had the, uh they have the luxury of of, ah, being able to spread it out a little bit more.
I mean, pretty much similar to what a normal calendar would look like for a Bundesliga season or any European soccer league.
season, for that matter.
And ah, obviously a huge part of that is because they were able to get back underway in mid May.
So credit to the Bundesliga for being one of the first leagues worldwide to get back to action.
And now we see other leagues following the Italian soccer returned over the weekend.
La Liga returned last Thursday.
The Premier League returns tomorrow I'll be on the call from Manchester City versus ****nal.
I cannot wait for it, folks, those, you know, 24 hours away from the return of the primarily and it can't come any quicker.
Both teams Allen the pitch, though, and it's Munchengladbach in all white.
They're the first ones out.
And here come vosburg toe.
Follow their in there black jerseys with their unique green design on the front, over the Volk over the ah Volkswagen sponsor on the center of their jerseys.
Kind of like an X mark with a green design.
Ah, their colors black and green.
Pretty sweet jersey, I will say.
And now the coin toss will take place at midfield between the two captains.
The referee in charge is Robert Shrewder, so shooters in charge tonight as the match official.
Lars Stindl and Cohen Casteels meeting at midfield for the coin toss.
And we're just about ready to get this underway, folks.
Both coaches giving a fist bump before we get this underway.
Marco Rosa in Oliver Glassner, fifth and sixth place in the table for these two sides.
Gladbach and fifth looking for a Champions League spot.
Looking to hold on to that Europa League spot.
European places up at stake.
It's late in the season, and this should be a fun one from Bruce Shia Park.
Good to see John Brooks.
The American get into the starting lineup tonight.
The left center back for for Vosburg.
Rather, Lars Stindl, the captain for Gladbach.
He hasn't scored in seven games, so he's tryingto get out of a slump in this one, and we'll see if he's able to do so.
And that's something that we should also mention on the God box side of things is, there's no Marcus Terram, and if you were tuning into my commentary of the Bayern Gladbach game on Saturday to Rahm, unfortunately picked up an injury very early on, and, ah, in that game, he had to come out in the 10th minute and ah, it seems to be pretty serious because he's out for tonight's game.
We'll see if that plays a ah, a factor into this one As the ball rolls in the 90 minutes begin.
Wolfsburg Here on SportsCastr.
Thank you for joining the broadcast.
Jim, Glad to have you here.
Perfect timing as this one has started back in white Vosburg in black as I mentioned Gladbach going Gladbach going on left to right and both spur going right to left across the television screen.
Yeah, this is a huge game for Gladbach.
Clever accusing, obviously with this being the first game of the match day Leverkusen don't play until after Gladbach in this match day.
So Gladbach with a win would really put the pressure on Labra cues and to win themselves in their game 68 F.
As I mentioned for kickoff, Beautiful night in Germany or evening, I should say it's a 6 30 local time kick off in this games underway.
A minute in glove box with all the possession.
Thus far you're is the onus Hoffman Hoffman trying to connect there.
It was uh, large Stindl that couldn't quite do so.
But Gladbach making it difficult for volts Berg to clear it will be off of em below for a throwing and below came in for Theron after Toronto sustained that injury against Bayern Munich.
And he now gets the start with the Teron unable toe participate in this match.
Still recovering from that injuries he sustained at the weekend, a quick turnaround as well, a little hesitation from summer and the pressure coming from ***ue horse Summer sends a timid field.
Nice one touch pass from Try Ari.
And here come God back Stephan liner going after it.
It's Renato Stephan who sends up the sideline out of play Gladbach with with Uh ah, high tempo start to this game, a little shove by M below in some how some way Marine Pong ratchets was ableto maintain his footing.
We're really good intensity at the start for Gladbach.
They're really trying to get on the front foot right off the bat, trying to get a quick goal, which would really set the tone for the rest of this one.
Here is Ginter, back for summer.
Some are trying to bounce back from a night he'll want to forget in that game against Bayern Munich, where he made an awful mistake.
A giveaway, rightto Joshua Zurich say who, uh found the open net to put Byron in the lead.
Byron would ultimately win 2 to 1.
Meanwhile, a foul called here against Wolfsburg and it's Ah, Xavier! Schlager called for the foul.
Yeah, no doubt about it.
Following through Noi House, going down for Gladbach and quite a bit of pain.
He's back up, though.
Seems to be all right.
Four minutes in.
No score from Brucia Park.
Matias Kinter back to Yann Sommer.
Summer finds Ginter Internet with the ball over the top.
It's a good looking service taken down nicely.
Can they get a shot off the answer? No.
Branch got a foot on that one, and in the end it was, Ah, Casteels able to control for Vosburg.
But how about that ball from a beautiful ball from Matias Kinter would have been a great assist.
Hatta had Hoffman been able to find the back of the net for God.
Bach here is Costil, header one in the middle by Oscar event.
Here is Arnold now with it for Vosburg Arnold.
The Excuse me, Arnold, The holding right mid for this Wolfsburg team.
We're five minutes in.
Graduates now in Barbuda Klaus clouds trying to connect on the through ball The ***ue horse.
But it was intercepted before it could get to him.
In that ball. Put over the top.
Taking down nicely by John Brooks Have Allsburg switch fields.
Here is Felix class class going towards goal square ball played across Arnold from distance and that's blocked at the edge of the 18.
Now here is in Babu.
Wolfsburg's still with it.
Now it's Schlager coming in with the steal.
There was Christophe Kraemer, but given right back once again, God back having a very difficult time holding onto the ball.
Arnold Arnold goes down and a foul called in our first set piece of the night will be a dangerous one Here.
It was, well, Victor, the Brazilian streaking down the left hand side after the past received from Maximilian Arnold.
Victor seems to be all right.
And here comes a good looking opportunity for Wolfsburg.
Probably the best chance yet.
Marcus Theron is in the stands, watching on as a spectator.
And so it's both Arnold and Klaus lining up to take and we'll see who sends It is Arnold the left footed cross at the penalty spot cleared away by Gladbach, but vosburg, still with it, sent right back into the area.
Arnold gets ahead to it, but nothing more than that in a goal kick given Some are quick to take the goal kick high intensity so far in this one from both sides.
They know how important this game is for both both of them.
And thank you, Jennifer, for joining the broadcast.
Thanks for tuning in here on SportsCastr as it's nil nil in the early stages.
Bundesliga action coming to you live here on SportsCastr Victor knocked off the ball.
And here comes large Stindl for Gladbach.
She didn't allow wide towards the sideline.
Now here is Christophe Drummer.
In the end, John Brooks pokes it away.
But right back in the possession of God Buck Ah, Why goes Kreimer Kreimer back for Nico l Video buddy across the back for Ginter Nice ball movement! But that last pass too far ahead for Stefan Leiner and of Wolfsburg throwing a midfield throwing taken here by Renato.
Stephan, you're a Schlager out wide for we're not those Stephan.
Now it's Maximilian Arnold.
Here is John Brooks, the German American.
He had the choice to either play for Germany or the U.
He was born in Germany, but he moved to the U.
S when he was young.
And so he decided to play for the U.
National team, which I appreciate that decision.
You, He's definitely, you know, he's past his prime, obviously.
But he was a big part of that, you know, 2014 World Cup team.
Meanwhile, fellow called against Brooks and a free kick given to God by but Yeah, Gladbach.
I mean, yes, they lost a buyer in over the weekend, but that was I mean, they competed quite well with Bayern Munich.
That was a That was a solid performance from God, Buck.
And if it wasn't for that summer giveaway, uh, job Awful mistake by on summer, the goalkeeper for God, Buck, they would have got a point out of it.
And they would have been tied with love accusing in the table because lover coos and couldn't get the three points against Shaka I was also in the call for that one Handball shouts nothing given by the referee and now Gladbach looking to counter up ahead.
It goes to unbolt on below.
Cuts towards the middle by Brooks.
Nice through ball, the one touch shot in the back of the net.
So it's a beautiful finish, and that's what Gladbach can do.
The counter attack at its finest.
And it's the onus Hoffman who puts Gladbach in the lead one.
Nothing here in the 10th minute.
And all my goodness, that was probably a missed handball.
At the other end, the field there were shouts from Wolfsburg.
It looked like that went off the hand of noise house.
The referee missed it.
Gladbach, What do they do? They go down to the other end of the field.
On the counter attack in Make Wolfsburg pay beautiful hold up.
Below in a nice assist is well from the striker who leaves it off into the path of Hoffman and Hoffman slots that one to the bottom left corner and Gladbach strike first just 10 minutes in app.
Thank you for the whistle, Jennifer.
Much appreciate it.
It's one nil Gladbach here, the home side in the lead, trying to leapfrog Labra cues in at least for a little while in the table depends.
Oliver accusing does in their matchup this week.
But still they'd like to put the pressure on.
Glad one of lever cues.
And rather, yeah, this is a good start Summer, though another giveaway.
Nice recovery, though by envelope, but a foul is going to be called.
I don't know about that decision.
I don't know if there's much, and quite frankly, I mean, Arnold went down too easily, It seemed like, and then below the big man he is.
You know you're not gonna get.
Unfortunately, even if it's a little bump, you know the opposing player is going to go down easily and usually going to get the benefit.
The doubt from the referee. That's the case this time around.
Here is the inswinger from Arnold, head of the way, and now it's at the edge of the area and then below, able to clear it's a way by actually was, try Orry with the clearance.
Well, I know it's not too bad if ah, you know it's the damage is not that bad.
Losing your top Goalscoring.
Marcus Theron from a Gladbach perspective.
If you know the man that's replacing him in, Ah real M below is getting an assist, working hard on the defensive side of things.
And that's what he's already done so far.
And, uh, you know, im below definitely can be a very impactful substitute.
Now, getting his opportunity to start with Theron out, I think you know, if your marker Marco Rosa I know he likes the 45 information of the 4 to 31 if you want to get really into it.
But maybe he should try, you know, to upfront and put both n below and to Rama front.
A good move in the midfield by Stefan Leiner, but gave it away on the final pass.
And now here comes Wolfsburg.
This has played out wide.
Now across from in.
Babu is blocked, involves Berg with their first corner kick of the night, going back to the nice bit of skill from line or in the midfield.
I mean, it was a beautiful quick 12 as he got by Oscar or no, he got by Arnold, but the final pass from liner was just ah just took away from the individual brilliance that he displayed just seconds before.
Here comes the corner kick towards the near post in the header across the six, but wide and it was off of Wolfsburg.
Many bodies in the box there it looked like, Yeah, a lot of bodies in the area.
But I think if I'm not mistaken, it was Ah, Kong Rogich.
You got the head to it.
Thank you, everyone for tuning in 15th minute, quarter of an hour down in this one, Still 75 minutes to go.
It's Brucia Munchengladbach, one that evolves Berg nil, thanks to 1/10 minute goal from Jonas Hoffman.
Horst Horst in in the middle and now a quick burst of speed in trying to get by.
L've Eddie was ah, Felix Klaus, but couldn't quite get around in his final touch too far ahead.
Yann Sommer ableto easily control that one.
The possession so far slightly in favour of Wolfsburg.
52 to 48% vosburg with the invention shots as well.
31 Gladbach, 100% accuracy so far, when it comes toe shots they've had one shot and that one shot found the back of the net.
And it's the difference thus far that's given away in the middle of gentle and all over.
That one is Victor, and you went for goal himself when he had other options and of a selfish decision there from the Brazilian in a very easy safe for summer.
Wolfsburg throwing here.
We'll go back to Cohen, costal the captain for Vosburg as the goalkeeper years.
John Brooks Brooks into the midfield.
Now with Jelavic Door, Arnold will switch Fields, nice ball out wide for Imbabura and Babu on the sideline.
And now this cross takes a deflection on the way and blasting that one out in the box was Matea skint.
Er will be a throwing four vosburg and Babu to take it the right back for the away team and Babu with, uh, throw in that went well into the box, actually into the hands of summer.
Too much power on the throw in there for Kevin and Babu.
Oh, and I was touched by and below to get by the defender and the cross wasn't quite what he wanted.
In the end, it's offsides nonetheless, but and below has showed us the type of ability he's got on the ball and yet look barely offsides in the end.
But it was a great touch by and below to get by the defender and create space.
Thank you, Von, for joining the broadcast.
What's going on? Von.
Already ago from Gladbach in the early stages one, nothing lead here, thanks to 1/10 minute goal from Yonas Hoffman.
And so the goal kick, or rather, the free kick rather to be taken by Cohen Costal.
Did I watch the sports Center special last night? Yeah, I saw a little bit of it.
Yeah, I saw a little bit of it.
I kind of got bored by the end of it, though, so I I tuned out at the end, but yeah, it was all right.
The horse trying to put the pressure on from vault from vosburg.
But Ginter able to clear the way.
Now it's played out wide to m Bob and Bob.
When in the middle with Felix class and now in space, Here's Imbaba.
His deflected cross makes its way all the way.
Toe Stephan Here is Maximilian Arnold, Stephan, back to Arnold Arnold Wolf switch to the other side and that past took a deflection.
But luckily for Pong, Rogich went right into the into the feet of John Brooks.
Here is Arnold Arnold to the other side.
Would I take a pay cut? Yeah, of course.
For if you know, I would definitely take take a pay cut if you know if if I if I was like an MLB player or something like that.
No, No doubt, I definitely would.
But you know, I guess the MLB players live in their own world.
So by the way, a free kick given here no con Bach to take it.
We're 20 minutes in its one nil.
The home side in Gladbach with the lead.
Some were dancing around his box.
With this feed, you've got to be careful.
I'm sure he learned Ah from the weekend after that bad giveaway that gifted Byron.
A goal here is Florian Noi house.
You know it's Kreimer.
Renato! Stephan, Did you want Victor in the middle? Gladbach, Take it away.
Kreimer will now find foreign.
Ben Sabatini is suspended for Ah Brucia Moenchengladbach! I should mention as well do the yellow card ac***ulation.
So that's another.
That's another big absence in the lineup.
You know, there are, You know, they're normal.
Left back Oscar event coming in to replace him today.
Has been a mess in 2020.
Yeah, it started.
Yeah, it started back in January. Exactly.
Nice move by the referee.
The ball was gonna hit him.
He let it go right between his legs.
And here come vosburg Nice.
12 shot from distance clouds going for goal just wide in the end.
But that was great movement in the midfield by vosburg to create that chance.
And in the end, it just curve the wrong way for clouds.
Looked like it was bending towards that top corner.
But in the end, just wide.
Going back to the goal for Gladbach definitely happened.
With some controversy involved, there seemed to be a handball at the other end.
And then nothing was called Gladbach down the other way with the goal on the counter attack.
Hoffman with his third goal of the season.
And that's the difference so far.
In the 11th minute, Gold Probability says he had a 31% chance of scoring that one, and he made no mistake about it.
We're midway through the first half year after this match day.
The board will just have to match days left in the final to match days, as it has been over the over many years.
Now, uh, all of the matches take place simultaneously on Saturday at 3 30 local time.
So that's how the two final match days will be the NHL in the N b.
Work together during the shutdown. Yeah.
Yeah, the MBA, NHL, they, uh, they were Ah, much more.
You're much more efficient in.
Yeah, in ah, agreeing with each other between the owners and players and getting back to action.
What's up? Could beer? What's going on, man? Glad to have you here on the broadcast.
Hope you're doing well as we are.
Ah, past the midway point.
In the 1st 45 minutes, it's Gladbach with a one to nothing advantage over Vosburg.
You know what's going on, Josh as well.
Oh, I didn't even I didn't see that.
I skipped over. Sorry.
What's going on? Josh, how you doing? What do I think of primarily coming back tomorrow.
I'm more excited than you could ever believe.
Man, I'm jumping up and down in the inside.
I've got to keep my keep myself composed here commentating this game.
But numb, I'm super excited.
I can't wait, man.
I cannot wait for the return of the primary league.
I'm absolutely thrilled.
Do I think ****nal has any chance It's to get a chimp to get a Champions League spot? You mean Josh? Uh, I assume that's what you mean up? I don't think so.
To be honest with you, I think ****nal and Tottenham are out of the conversation for getting a Champions League spot.
I think it's gonna be between, You know, I think it's gonna be a battle between Chelsea and Man United to get that fourth and final Champions League spot.
Oh, vengeance see about the Europa League spots is well, maybe ****nal.
Yeah, ****nal will probably get a Europa League spot, although, you know we'll see how Sheffield and Wolves to because ah, there definitely great stories.
Sheffield just getting promoted.
And then wolves relatively new in the primer league as well.
At least one sport is back. Exactly.
Could beer and You know what? We always had to be patient, but soon, Soon? Soon enough.
You know, the NHL and MB will return as well, so yeah.
No, it's It's awesome.
Uh, making some noise worldwide with all of the European leagues pretty much back in action.
The primarily returning tomorrow as Josh said and then, um, serial returning on Saturday.
La Liga returned last Thursday.
Bundesliga has been in action for a month now.
So far, so good.
The booze Lee with just 1.
5 weeks left in the season.
Yeah, except league.
Yeah, the French League, They Ah, they pulled the plug and cancelled their season a little bit too early, in my opinion, but yeah, and then animal MLS will be back July 8th.
Cannot wait for that.
So yeah, plenty to look forward to, That's for sure.
It should be a fun summer of sports.
Here is an below little shove from behind No foul called, though in a nice first touch from him Babu cutting inside, weaving his way through but held onto a too long as Kreimer takes over for God Buck, you're his Kreimer Who has it for Gladbach back it goes for Nico Alviti everybody over a Matias Kinter.
Now it's Noite House who will switch it to the other side in Gladbach.
Really controlling this game so far and they'll be won't be back until March 2021.
Yeah, I mean, that's a real possibility now, so it might end up being the case at the end of the day.
I met that figuratively, not literally.
Not by the end of today, but once once always figured out.
Maybe in a few weeks time, we'll see if ah, MLB can come to an agreement.
But it's not looking too bright right now.
So Ebola sends that one off of Stephan to win a side of throwing.
And it's up the sideline for a liner and below, trying to get back to liner, who puts the pressure on Arnold.
But Wolfsburg able to clear a to midfield.
Now it's summer with it and the intensity starting to calm down a little bit.
Although here come God park, a little clip from behind and a foul called off the ball here in a yellow card, candid out as well.
That's the first booking of the night and Hoffman's trying to argue that it should be a red because he was the last defender.
And let's make sure Hoffman was on site in the first place.
It was awfully close, but no doubt that it's at least a yellow card for one notch.
But he perhaps it's fortunate that that wasn't a red because he was the last defender and it was a clip from behind.
I mean, I feel like if Hoffman was closer to the getting on the receiving end of that ball, and it perhaps would have been a red, yeah, you just clipped him from behind.
And now a great opportunity for Gladbach to double the lead here on the free kick.
Maybe try or it will be the one to take it.
Try or a from guinea, and he will take it.
The left footed strike, though off the wall, the Vosburgh wall does its job.
By the way, the yellow card that was given a punk rock Churches foot.
It was his fourth of the season.
You're a Zen below, getting by in Babu now am below, plays it across their toe, break it up.
His Klaus were at the half hour mark, 1/4 of an hour left until the halftime whistle.
One nil God, Buckley.
Nice layoff in another great finish.
It's number two for Joonas Hopman, and he's having himself a night as they double the lead here.
And it's all Moenchengladbach here in the first half, another beautiful finish, and Gladbach just moving the ball around so nicely in the build up play.
The first goal is on the counter attack, and on this one is just great build up.
Play all around for Gladbach to set up this chance, Hoffman wide open, making that run down the right hand side.
It was a header from Stindl, a nice first touch to turn the corner by Ginger laying it off for Hoffman, who made no mistake about his Ah second goal of the game.
He's two for two tonight, slotting that one home to the bottom left corner.
It's his fourth of the season, and so half of the goals on the season for him have come in this game.
How about Hoffman having himself a night to do nothing? Gladbach double the lead over Wolfsburg.
Well, let's see how Wolfsburg bounce back now because that's twice.
Now the Hoffman has.
Yes, they were both nice finishes, but he's He's been let up.
He's been Ah, sorry.
What am I trying to say? He's been, uh, wide open on both goals, which is really a concerning sign for vosburg at the back.
Remember Diego Martinez yesterday on the bench? Yes, I do remember.
Yeah, he was. He was pretty.
Ah, he was pretty frustrated in that second half, to say the least.
His temper's were definitely flaring.
He got a yellow card.
If that game lasted, you know, 10 minutes longer, you might have got it read.
Although I think he was happy when all is said and done when his team got the equaliser laid on to sal***e the draw against Betty's.
But now absolutely, he was up.
Yeah, he was definitely not the happiest of campers.
And that's in that final 45 minutes.
Here is the creek freaking for Boasberg and I service and it's an easy save for summer in the end.
And maybe a foul has been given anyways.
It was ***ue horse to go to touch on it.
I know the flag went up for offsides, Offsides is the call.
So even if the horse had found the back of the net, it would have came.
It would have come back in Gladbach.
I think they've only had two shots tonight and both of them haven't found the back of that.
Both of them from Hoffman Champions League is playing in Portugal in August.
I I saw that news yesterday.
Von Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, man.
It's coming to Portugal.
Lisbon will play host to Ah, the Champions League quarterfinal, semi finals and final, which will all be one leg.
So it's definitely going to be different than what we're used to seeing.
I heard that they're trying to finish the round of 16 second legs that still have to be completed at those teams. Home stadiums.
Ah, but if they can't, they play that in Lisbon as well.
So yeah, they'll be playing at the studio of a lot of the Sporting sporting Stadium and study Andalusia.
The Benfica's stadium.
Benfica's stadium will host the final.
So yeah, and then I heard that Ah, Cologne will host the Europa League Final two.
So yeah, So those details are getting sorted out in? Yeah, the Champions League coming.
The Portugal Portugal definitely didn't get hit nearly as hard as other countries with the Corona virus.
Even just watching the porch usually come back.
The protocols aren't nearly as strict as countries like Germany and Spain.
Like in Portugal.
The substitutes are sitting right on the bench.
Some of them I think there were quite a wear masks, but some of them aren't even wearing masks.
And, uh, I know it seems more relaxed.
The protocols in Portugal, Uh, because they didn't get hit as hard as other countries.
Like I said, like countries Ah, such as Spain and Italy.
So, yeah, it makes sense to bring it to Lisbon.
Finished the tournament there.
It should be a Tribune awesome week and 1/2 where they're gonna finish that.
The Champions League.
By the way, the shot so far 53 bolts work.
Okay, Gladbach did have one other shot that I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's still pretty good when you've got two goals on three shots, I'd say Wolfsburg, with 57% of the challenges one Gladbach 43.
We've got 10 minutes to go till the halftime interval.
Gladbach, meanwhile, looking for another one.
Here is the Canadian International try.
Orie has crossed, blocked by the American John Brooks out of play for a throwing.
Originally, the Champions League final was scheduled.
What was going to be in Istanbul? Turkey? That's correct.
Yeah, that is true.
Um, I think Lisbon, Where the run, Where the runners up to host the Champions League final.
They lost the bid to Istanbul.
In the end, they will end up hosting it, which is funny, but But yeah, you're right.
It was originally supposed to be in Istanbul about three weeks ago.
Are now two weeks ago, I think.
***ue horse with a line drive.
It was quite a powerful shot from outside the box.
It was a nice touch with his right foot to set him up on the left, but didn't have the accuracy on the effort and right into the hands of Summer Gladbach.
Now with it now Here's Gerhard Up ahead for Victor.
He had plenty of speed, but not enough.
In the end, a summer came off his line quickly to Carell, that one mid September, all these leagues will start their new season.
Yeah, most likely.
Most likely that's that will be the case.
Um, it will be delayed a little bit, but not pushed back too much.
Yeah, probably probably gonna be mid September when the when the league's get back running for their next season.
This has played out why? Here comes in below and the low looking for a goal himself.
But it's great defense by John Brooks.
It's given the corner kick, but John Brooks came flying back to take care of em below who was streaking down the right flank.
You're gonna try to do a second half broadcasts of both sparking at least put up one.
We'll see if Wolfsburg can make this one interesting here if they can cut the deficit in half.
But Gladbach, though looking for another goal and that will have to be vosburg is concerned.
First off, you're on the corner kick.
Try to prevent this one from getting out of hand.
It'll be a right foot in service here.
Sent into the area by half months.
Who has two goals so far.
And the header is wide.
Ginter, the right center back for Gladbach.
Got ahead on it, but couldn't quite put it on frame.
You like the sound effects? Yeah, I've come around to like them to Josh.
Yeah, I like the built in crowd noise.
It it makes it seem, you know, more realistic for sure.
You know, obviously we all we all want fans at the games, but at least they're doing things to try toe, make it feel like there are fans there.
Yeah, Gladbach actually have card cardboard cutouts to for, you know, fake fans as well.
About league is using actual technology.
Teoh make artificial fans.
Ah, computer design.
So, uh, yeah, they're trying all kinds of stuff, but I I like the built in crowd notice as well.
I don't mind it one bit, to be honest with you or in the 40th minute, Five to go, plus stoppage time before the first half comes to a conclusion.
It's Gladbach with a two nil advantage over Wolfsburg.
Thank you, everyone for tuning in here on SportsCastr.
Always glad to have you on board.
Hoffman, the man of the match thus far.
No doubt about it.
Two goals, 26 touches 88% of his passes completed.
Can you get a hat trick before half time? That would be quite the feat.
This is a nice ball, and getting to it is stuff in liner liner sent it to the edge of the box, but vosburg able to come with the steal.
Here come volts Berg on the counter but ***ue Horace not on the same page with Victor in frustration, kicking in for the away team.
Korean baseball using dolls.
Riedel's very interesting goals.
Yeah, I saw that.
Yeah, yeah, they do have, you know, stuffed animals and dolls in the seats.
That's pretty funny.
Well, the UFO nations lead be played next season.
I'm not sure Von won't want to see.
Yeah, I don't know.
The I don't know if the euro is being postponed.
The next year will affect the nation's league because part of the nation's league, part of the nation's league, did have implications on the euro.
So I don't know.
I don't know the answer to that.
To be honest with you, here is try or e can't get by M. Babu.
You did go down awkwardly and then Bobby will play it out, as he might.
Oh, yeah, He landed awkwardly.
Their knees kind of got caught up there.
That did not look too good.
Unintentional from in Babu.
But we're landing on the less for try Ory and ah, you still down here? We'll see if the athletic trainers have to come out in attend to him.
Looks like he will be able to carry on in Gladbach Good sportsmanship there as they throw it back for cost eels and we play on.
That's how you do the splits. Yeah.
Uh, yeah, I know it.
That was pretty much a full on split right there.
But it turned out to be just that.
Yeah, no house couldn't.
Can't quite come up with the steal.
Now, some headers in the air controlled by annoyed house.
Now a foul called right around midfield.
Free kick coming up for Gladbach in Oliver Glassner, the coach of Vosburgh and his assistants going over What changes need to be made here because it's gonna have to be better in the second half from Vosburg if they wanna get back into this game, especially on the defensive side of things they had some chances now and then.
But the defense really the main concern At least from what I've seen here in this first half.
What's going on, Brad? Welcome in, man.
Glad to have you joining here on SportsCastr.
Hope you're having a good afternoon.
And Ah, Brucie Munchengladbach already with a two nothing advantage over Vosburg here.
44th minute as we approach halftime, we've got 1.
5 minutes plus stoppage time left in the first half.
So yeah, we're approaching halftime quickly.
This is the first game of matched a 31 are now.
Rather, it's matched a 32.
Two more games left for every team after this mid week match day The final to match days as usual, have all nine games being played simultaneously.
It will be a free kick here for Wolfsburg.
Maybe a chance here late in the first half for vosburg to cut the the Gladbach lead in half as ah, it was ***ue horse.
You went down for Vosburgh and it looks like Maximilian Arnold is lining up to take it.
Gladbach with two on the wall of Boasberg with numbers in the box heading away for a throwing.
Yeah, no problem, Brad.
We're 20 seconds away from stoppage time.
We'll see how much they add on here at the end of this first half.
I'm guess a minute.
Maybe two way had a yellow card in two goals.
So yeah, a minute or two, for sure.
Yes, it will just be one minute.
Bad giveaway, though.
And you're come, Gladbach.
We saw them score one goal on the counter attack.
Here's n below all by himself closing and going for the back post.
Oh, man, he maybe could have closed in a little bit more.
That's just Oh, please.
That's just laziness.
And, uh, Arnold just took his eye off the ball for a second and nearly led to 1/3 goal for Gladbach.
I think maybe and below could have took another touch or two enforced up Costil to come further off his line before he ah, you know, fired one in towards that back post.
It wasn't too far off in the end.
And meanwhile volts Berg on the attack that crossed behind the head of Victor, maybe with about five seconds left in the half.
Both work and get one last crossing.
It's sent in by Arnold, but Gladbach comfortably able to clear it outside the 18.
And there is the halftime whistle.
It's 45 minutes in the books and it's Brucia motion.
Glad block with a very comfortable to nothing advantage, although they do say that's the most dangerous score in soccer.
Yeah, I know have toe now blocks.
Words don't give you a halftime report fund and for nor paranormal.
But, uh yeah, that will ah do it for the first half.
Still 45 minutes to go and vote spittle really need to tighten up at the back in the second half.
Will need to be better if they want him.
At least sal***ed a point.
A dream 1st 45 minutes for Munchengladbach Bind by far the better side. We'll see.
They can carry that over in the second half.
The second half coming your way in about 15 minutes. This is the Bundesliga.
It's Gladbach to Wolfsburg Nil.
I'm back for the final 45 shortly.
Stay right here, folks.
Hello and welcome back in, everybody! Thank you, Joe, for joining the broadcast.
Glad to have you here and Yeah, we were getting ready for second half action from Marussya Park.
It's Moenchengladbach, the home team with a comfortable lead at halftime to nothing over Vosburg but still a whole another 45 minutes to go and we'll see if Wolfsburg and prove upon the mistakes made in that first half, particularly on defense, where you know it was Ah, a bad, you know, bad marking, really on both goals, quite frankly.
And then it was nearly 1/3 goal on just a, uh, another, another poor giveaway.
And ah, it was Arnold, I believe, who just kept us.
He, you know, all of a sudden just ah, you know, lost track of the ball, I guess, and just like that, n below is all over it.
And it nearly led to a goal.
Another one for Gladbach.
So we'll see what the second half has in store.
But it definitely needs to be better from Wolfsburg if they want to come out with at least a point.
If not all three, and were about start to get.
We're about to get the second half started and I believe there haven't been.
There hasn't been any changes made at halftime, although I'll make sure double check in a moment once we get this.
Ah, these final 45 ints underway.
Thank you, everyone.
As always for tuning into the broadcast.
Glad to have you here.
As always, the Premier League returns tomorrow.
I can't wait to be on the call.
But first we've got one more.
Hafsa go in this Bundesliga encounter between fifth place Munchengladbach in six place Wolfsburg as the second half is underway here on SportsCastr let's see what type of start volts work and get off to in the half.
That's not the ball Arnold was looking for is that will trickle its way towards the corner flag over the end line and out of play for a Gladbach goal kick.
The gold will be taken by Yann Sommer in Gladbach.
It looks like they really have you know how? I wouldn't say it's momentum from the Bayern game, but that was a promising performance in that Bayern game on Saturday.
And it looks like, you know, they carried some confidence over into this game cause they know Vosburg is, you know, no offense, divorce, work, but they're an easier side to be.
Then a team like Bayern Munich.
Even the Bullets were got plenty of challenge.
And Moenchengladbach really exposing their defense here in in that first half will see if they can Italiana a couple more goals in the second half.
Looks like try Orient Got, uh, gotta clean along the sideline.
He was down for a little bit, but seems to be fun.
Let's see the replay of of this one.
No, he just went down by himself.
He actually went down too easily.
Stefen He might have made a little bit of contact with him, but definitely some embellishment involved as well on Try aureus, Part John Brooks.
And amid feel in there for Gladbach is Oscar vent bent, as I mentioned earlier, getting the start Chile at left, back in place of the suspended Benson by any due to yellow card ac***ulation.
Here come Gladbach cutting the inside.
Is Hoffman going for that? Your post? It did take a deflection.
And Hoffman is hungry for a hat trick Just two minutes into the second half.
And here he nearly got his third.
Yeah, good defense, though.
By and Babu the right back for vosburg.
He did get a touch on that one.
Or else Who knows? That could have been a hat trick right there for Hoffman.
These lot league Rangers are wearing jeans.
Yeah, I noticed that.
There's a lot of them who are actually wearing jeans.
It's kind of weird, I guess.
That's just the thing in Spain.
Yeah, the Via Rail, My York.
A game just got underway in a free kick.
We'll be given here.
Foul called Wolfsburg.
Here is John Brooks, the American.
With it. He'll play it across the back four.
Marine Congre Church Now Pong Rogich up ahead for him.
Bob and Babu back for Pong Ratchet.
She'll played across the back for Brooks.
Wolfsburg will switch fields here looking the get something going on the attacking side of things and that through ball can't quite make its way through as it was.
You save your Slager looking to get on the receiving end.
A lot of managers wear a suit.
Yeah, Arnoldo gets a touch on it for Vosburg.
You're still in possession here.
It's now with Gerhard to the left back for vosburg and that cross will get by everyone.
Racing onto it, though, is in Babu trying to keep it in play.
But it's nicely done by vent to shield that one out of play and it will be Gladbach ball here four minutes into the second half.
Well to nothing.
The score got to have you all here.
This is the lone game taking place in the 6 30 local time time slot.
Ah, in Germany, there'll be three games taking place at 8 30 local time after this headlined by the Verdier Bremen Bayern Munich game, where a win for Bayern Munich would clinch them the title.
They can win the Bundesliga title their eighth in a row with a win tonight against the Vendor Bremen team who they should have no problem getting the three points against.
Quite frankly, Bremen aside who have struggled mightily this season, currently in second last place, this one trickling through the box, cleared away.
But second chance blasted well high and wide into the cardboard cutout fans on the shot from Yannick Gerhardt, the left back getting in on the action but couldn't quite send that one on target.
Let's see what we got here. In the comments.
You haven't seen Bundesliga managers wearing jeans.
Yeah, I don't think I have either, to be honest with you and that's a foul called here.
Summer got absolutely taken out by ***ue horse, vigorous putting on the pressure and summer.
That's what That's what you can, you know.
That's that's what you risk as a goalkeeper being, you know, a little, a little cheeky with on your feet.
You know, summer tends toe tends to be tends to do that quite often, to be, ah, honest with you holding on the ball perhaps too long at times and you know he's comfortable with the ball at his feet, but you always risk the possibility of getting taken out like what just happened to him.
He seems to be fine, though He did get clipped by ***ue horse, but he really got himself into that trouble.
As I mentioned earlier at the top of the broadcast.
Gladbach win would put them two points clear of level accusing.
Leverkusen will play tomorrow, but at least if you're Gladbach, you know the advantage of having the first game of the match day before Leverkusen is you have the opportunity to put the pressure on Leverkusen with the wind and that's exactly what they're on pace to do right now.
The last two matches will be simultaneous to make things fair since they'll be, you know, relegation.
End European places on the line coming down to that final matchday.
Meanwhile, be Maximilian Arnold to take the free kick.
He was looking to play quickly but didn't like any of his options.
At first glance now here is in Babu.
Here is Felix Klaus.
Can clouds get the crossing? No, that one blocked by the left center back Nico Helvetia out of play for a throwing.
And so I'm Babu We we've seen earlier in this game that he has quite the arm.
When it comes to taking throw ins, he's gonna throw it long.
Once again, it looks like into the box sees he's lining up for a for a long run up, but in the end, he actually plays it short and Babu now back for Gerhard Gerhard curling that one summer, though back to get it.
No one was looking dangerous.
For a moment there, it actually took a massive deflection and you just thought for a moment that that might have been curling its way into the top left corner but in the end, a comfortable save for Yann Sommer use holding onto that shut out so far.
Meanwhile, here come Gladbach and below, trying to blow by the defender in a beautiful slide tackle there nicely done by Con Rogich cause we all know the type of speed and but I'm below has he's had an assist tonight looking for a goal as well.
And Gladbach just, you know, giving vosburg all sorts of problems.
But it was a clean tackle, no doubt about it from hunger Rogich in a beautiful defense of effort there with a sliding challenge.
It will be a corner kick, though for Gladbach, looking for their third of the game here is Jonas Hoffman.
To take it will be a right footed outswinger.
Just three in the box for Gladbach.
Hero actually curl well outside the area.
Lars Stindl, the captain will play it back.
You don't think you've seen managers in the Portuguese soccer league wearing jeans? Yeah, I don't think so either.
To be honest with you, I know Sergio Conceicao definitely doesn't know.
Out of position here for a second was Casteel.
It was headed right in front of him and he was well off his line.
Is this onside? Yes, it is.
The flag stays down, try or e into the middle, and the shot is blocked.
In the end, it was Mattias Ginter, out of all people with the chance for Gladbach right around the penalty spot, but unable to get a clean shot off his bolts.
Work and numbers behind the ball.
Free kick given quickly taken by Felix Klaus Wolfsburg.
We're gonna cut the Gladbach lead in half and trying Bring the intensity up as well.
Now it is M Babu and Babu to class class back to him. Babu.
Big horse! Back to class! Nice ball movement in the strike from Schlager blocked in front.
Getting in the way of that one was I believe Kristof Kreimer.
10 minutes in the second half.
Thank you, everyone for tuning in its pollution.
Which in Gladbach to Wolfsburg Nil from Brucia Park.
Beautiful evening in Germany.
The temperature in the high sixties.
Perfect night for soccer.
Do I wear jeans? No, not no Onley on.
You know, only on special occasions like going to church and stuff like that when I'm forced to wear jeans.
Um, not at school or anything like that are at my house.
No, I'm always in shorts and short sleeves.
Pretty much, Yeah, and I find genes uncomfortable.
To be honest with you, not a big fan that's given away is in bowl offs.
On side, they say is.
And in the end, it was nearly a hattrick for Hoffman yet again.
I don't know, though, Shirley, um, and below is offsides.
No, no, he was on John Brooks Kept him on.
Yeah, that was a good job by the A r to keep us flag down because you definitely proved me wrong And the shot just wide of the left post from Hoffman.
That's the second time already in the second half that he's had a chance for that third goal to complete the hattrick.
Here is Oscar events.
We're pretty much the same story here in the second half.
The Bulls Spurs defence just can't seem to control and deal with the the sudden counterattacks that motion Gladbach are able to create.
And right as I say that here come Gladbach Nice through ball to end below and below tries to get the shot off eventually does.
So it will be a corner kick, though, as it was blocked by Marine congratulate each Rangarajan chips has been solid for bolstering at the back, but the rest of the defense for vosburg not so much.
You don't wear jeans at all.
Yeah, I don't blame you.
I mean, if if I had a choice, I wouldn't wear them at all.
But for, like, family gatherings and church, I'm a I'm forced to wear them.
So you know this is punched away by Cohen Castell.
It will be a throwing here.
The left back Oscar events will take it down the sideline and they'll do it all over again.
Well, folks, the countdown is on for the return of the Premier League were 23 hours and 14 minutes away from the return of the Premier League.
I'll be on the call for the later game 3 15 Eastern Manchester City facing ****nal, The Premier League not just coming back, but coming back with a bang.
That should be in a very intriguing matchup.
Would I wear a suit? I don't really, Uh I wore a suit a few times, but no, I don't like wearing a suit, to be honest with you, although I do, I do.
Oh yeah, I also wear jeans.
Sometimes when I commentate my high school's sports games for the local TV channel, sometimes I'll wear jeans.
You know, I I gotta dress up nicely for those broadcasts.
Um, but no, I don't.
I wear suits less than I wear jeans, that's for sure.
Once in a while, I guess I'll wear a suit if it's if it's like a big game.
I'm calling for my high school.
This takes a deflection off the shot from single.
I believe it was Imbaba who got his right shin to that one.
And now here comes a substitution, our first of the night at the hour mark, with about 1/2 hour to go in.
The first of a possible 10 substitution is being made five for each team, and it will be brought Kahlo coming in for Arnold.
Arnold's night is done, so Brexit drink alot comes in and an attacking minded substitution there from Wolfsburg as they need goals sooner rather than later.
Here is Yann Sommer, summer out wide as its into the feet of Nico Alviti, 30 minutes remaining.
Thank you, everyone, for tuning into the broadcast.
Glad to have you here.
A sports make its, ah, glorious return.
More and more leagues coming back in the action.
And it should be a fun summer of sports to enjoy Wolfsburg having here.
It's with long branch wide for the American John Brooks.
Well, the virtual the fake fans, I guess you could call it, are definitely making their voices loud and clear at Brucia Park.
I was talking about the built in crowd noise earlier, and I'm all for it, To be honest with you, it's worked out better than I at first expected it would, and it really makes it feel like there are fans in attendance, to be honest with you, Do I wear blue jeans? Ah yeah, yeah, I usually wear blue jeans if one night when I have to wear them throwing here to be taken by Kevin and Babu Wolfsburg looking for that? Their first goal of the game and it just doesn't.
From what we've seen so far, it doesn't seem like that.
That's really coming soon, although you never know.
It's what makes soccer the beautiful game.
There could be some surprises in a minute's notice.
Now maybe another breakaway conform here for Gladbach.
Stindl over to try or e God Block will hold up play now and a foul called It's against.
It's against Big Horse and he'll get a yellow card as well.
So the striker from Holtzberg getting a booking.
I believe that's our second yellow of tonight.
And, yeah, that's a hello.
No doubt he's stumped right on the foot of Stefan Leiner, and all he could do is smile after that one.
It's a 60 l of the season, so no ah, concern about a yellow card ac***ulation suspension.
He already served his one game suspension a few weeks back after his fifth yellow card.
His only worry now is to not get another one in this game or else he'll be sent off Kreimer first time past, try or a cutting to the inside through ball, and it's on side.
The A R doesn't put up the flag cross to the back post and below, looking for that right corner and could could have got his first of the night.
It was a great opportunity for em below on the header.
I mean, it was the right idea.
He steers in the right direction and you could tell that he was trying to do.
Emily has had multiple opportunities tonight to get on the scoresheet, just not quite able to do so.
They have Gladbach just on the counter attack there.
So lethal involves Burger having a really difficult time defending against it.
Another bad giveaway by the wayside.
Noi House now finds Oscar event event with the cross.
It will make its way through controlled now by Stindl, but eventually back to recover for Vosburgh and taking away was Xavier Schlager, while the possession slightly in favour of Gladbach, 53 to 47%.
The shots also led by glad about 10 8 but fairly even in that category as well.
Where is the suit? Yeah, he does.
Yeah. Content wears a suit.
And now here comes Stindl up ahead for trying or into the middle of the one time finished is in the goal again.
Tendo makes it three for Gladbach and they are running away with this one.
In the 65th minute.
It's an assist from Try Orian, a one time finished from Stindl That makes a Gladbach three Wolfsburg nil.
In all three goals have been Ah, one time finished the first you from Herman.
And now the 3rd 1 from Stindl and Gladbach.
Just having themselves a wonderful night.
And that's goal number of three.
And that might be the dagger.
I know there's still 25 minutes left, but what a finish! It waas from Lars Stindl, the captain for Gladbach.
And I said at the top of the broadcast, he hadn't scored in 12 games.
Well, he just changed that here.
1/7 goal this season.
And here is another steal.
Gladbach want more overlapping Run can And below get on the end of it.
Not quite well, there will be 1/4 kick and Gladbach trying to pour it on at this point as we're not even midway through the second half.
What's going on? Isaac? Welcome in.
Yes, you came in.
I don't know if you got in your Ah in time for legal.
I'm assuming you did.
I didn't see exactly when you joined, but you might have just came while you were late.
Yeah, well, you are.
You are about You probably were like 15 seconds late.
After the after the goal, This is curled towards the back post over the end line for a goal. Kick butt? Yeah.
God! Buck playing their best game in a long time.
Ah, Reuben, For joining the broadcasts or the Reuben report.
Glad to have you here.
What's the times That you can watch? A replay, the replay or at in a Knauer 34 right now? Yeah.
That was the third goal to Yeah, I will probably be around an hour.
Yeah, The goal is probably like a Knauer 33 or 32.
Somewhere around that.
Thanks for stopping by Isaac.
I appreciate it.
And you take the whole article out to Yes.
I'll definitely check that out.
You did an article about Kyle Shanahan. Cool.
I'll definitely give it a read later on today.
Yeah, no problem.
I'll see you later, Isaac.
Thanks for. Ah, See you next time.
Thanks for tuning in here on SportsCastr.
NFL coaches don't wear suit enough.
Naya NFL yah Coaches there.
They're basically in normal clothing.
Especially Bill Belichick.
Yeah, it's a little bit different for coaches, Really, In all different sports MBIA coaches tend to dress up nicely.
NHL? Yeah. Tubas.
Well, MLB, it's there just in kind of normal clothing.
So Yeah, I don't even think about that, really.
But yeah, each shop sport is kind of different for how the coaches dress up.
Well, we're past the midway mark of the second half and it seems like Gladbach are going to come away with all three points unless vosburg can make an incredible comeback in the final 20 plus minutes.
But I highly doubt that's going to be the case as God back had been in control from the start.
Here is four in Noi House.
That's a rare give away from Gladbach and Wolfsburg.
Here is the Brazilians well, Victor Good run, Windhorst.
On the end of the service, Schlager sends it out wide.
Well lost for vulnerability, A big blow and it would invite the teams right behind them into that six place spot.
Boasberg only three points ahead of seventh.
And that Europa League place no doubt means a whole lot for Holtzberg and it'll be a double substitution here.
Shoot! I missed it! We'll see Gwil a bogey coming in.
Well, so there's gonna be three Substitution is Yeah, this is Ah, commentator's nightmare right here.
A triple substitution being made at once here, so I'll try to keep track of all of them.
But wish me luck on that.
Marr Moose will come in for Klaus, all right? And giving.
Zach has come in for a victor and ah, when they get the other guy that came off Hold on.
70th minute. Here.
Yeah, triple substitution are the commentators favorite? Got 20 minutes remaining.
Gross work with a whole slew of substitution is made to tryto to try to change something up and get something going here in this in this final part of the second half.
All right, the other move.
So gwil a bogey he came in for Gerhard.
Gerhard was the other guy who came off for Wolfsburg a foul.
Meanwhile, Blyde Pong Rogich, I'm below the man down for Gladbach and ah, as good as Pong Rogich has been tonight you've got to be careful.
He's already on a yellow and there's just no need for a challenge like that up.
And now Gladbach will make a substitution.
It will be Ibrahima.
Try Orry coming off the Guinean coming off and it will be the other Herman coming on.
How about that? We've got the brother now. My apologies. My apologies.
Herman's brother is also on.
The two brothers were both on the bench to start, but one of the Herman's will come in, and I need to figure out which one that is.
It's Patrick Herrmann who has entered, and so that is the first change made by Gladbach and now bolstered will make their fourth substitution.
It will be Pond Rogich coming off a move that makes sense.
I just said a minute ago.
He's got to be careful on that yellow card and the head coach of Wolfsburg all over Glassner won't want to take any chances, and coming in it will be robbin no Sha.
So Notre enters.
You know you can't just risk Uh, we're keeping punk Nachagyn really as he's on that yellow card.
So I move. That makes sense.
That and now yellow card here ***ue Horace goes down and getting a yellow here for Munchengladbach is Ah, Nico already.
That's that Salvi's fifth of the season to, so he's gonna miss their next game this Saturday That's gonna be a pretty big loss for GLAAD Buck.
That's the yellow card.
Whether there's just no need for it as well your teams up three nil.
You know, you have four yellow guards on the season.
You know, another one will get you suspended, but he commits the foul and gets the ah, yellow nonetheless, you are short blond.
I I wear shorts almost always.
So yeah, Short side, the way to go.
Although you're in the winter, I wear shorts inside Still, But when I go out, I gotta I got a bundle up because the winters here are miserable.
All right, so yeah, plenty of substitution is made in just the past five minutes.
And so it's not.
It's almost a whole new team for vosburg out there.
But you got to get credit, Gladbach.
I mean, Wolfsburg have never got really got into the game, quite frankly, frustrating night for the away team.
And they're kind of come away with no points with just two games left on the season.
I mean, they're very much still, you know, probably favor.
They get that sixth and final spot for the for the Europa League qualification.
But it's it's not gonna be a cakewalk because there's, Ah, there's two or three teams right behind them that can still get that final spot in for Europa League place.
So it should be a trivia fun last couple of days.
A couple of games, I should say in the Bundesliga season, you know, for the Champions League, Europa League spots and the battle down the bottom in the relegation zone.
Well, Marcus Terram the main goal score for Gladbach.
He's out with an injury, but he seems to be having a good time tuning in from the stands and having a little bit of a laugh because he's Ah, witnessed his team put on an impressive performance tonight, and we we've just got ourselves 1/4 of an hour remaining.
Renato Stephan into the box now here is and Babu and Babu at the edge of the area, cutting to his right foot.
Now it's into the box cleared away by Gladbach now here.
Vosburg, still searching for their first goal of the game.
Here is Brek alone, Ulivo G, who came in as a substitute not too long ago, Maar Moose, with the run.
He's taken out along the end line, but it was clean.
According to the referee, it will be a corner kick up coming in Korea ladies golf tour.
A lot of players wear skirts and long socks.
Renato Stephens ball a wasted one, to say the least.
And then pretty much, uh, you know, explain that.
That's pretty much a good, uh, a good implication of how the night's been for vosburg.
It's been a frustrating night.
And the performance they'll want to forget about, that's for sure.
You research last night in Bremen? Haven't been in the second division since 1981.
It sounds about right.
I, uh I know they haven't been in the second division a long, long time.
Yeah, I've spent about 40 years.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Well, they might be going back down for the first time since 81 cause steals a nice ball out wide 78th minute, Stephan.
He finds G Laboulaye and want a effort there from Gilla Bogey.
It wasn't It wasn't that wide.
Actually, that was quite the strike from distance.
You didn't think he was going to go for a gold but he went for it.
And why not? If you're Wolfsburg down by 3 12 minutes left, and why not firing a couple more shots on goal? Summer hasn't really been truly tested tonight quite yet.
Especially when you compare it to the test he faced.
Ah, against Byron at the weekend.
You didn't know there was a second Byron soccer team that plays in the third Division? Yeah, there is.
The by Bayern Munich second team.
Yeah, basically, that's the the players that aren't good enough to make it to the, you know, mostly young players that aren't quite ready to ah, to make it to the to the buyer.
Minnick first team there on that third division team.
Yeah, same for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
They both have be teams in England they don't have.
They don't have second teams.
It's not like that, But I know in Spain, Portugal, some teams in Germany they have.
They have some A B teams as well.
Yeah, mostly young players that are working their way up to try to make it to the, uh, to the first team.
Lars Stindl for Gladbach with a gold tonight 44 touches 79% of their passes, complete of his passes completed as we've got 10 minutes to go in.
This one here is Nico.
L've Eddie, so give away in the middle.
But a poor pass from Mar Mu sh here is in Babu and Holtzberg throwing coming up.
And now Gladbach will make their just their second substitution of the night.
And that will be it for em below.
It was a good performance from the big Man up top coming in for the injured Haram.
And I've been impressed by him and the assist on the first goal.
He could have had one or two goals of his own.
It would be best coming in for him.
He's worked really hard and below is well, indefinitely.
Someone to keep an eye on down the road.
Even one Theron's back.
Who knows if both of them will be put on the field by Marco Rosa.
Meanwhile, Schlager, with the strike from outside the box left footed effort, looking to go upper 90 over the bar it went and that sums up Boasberg.
Tonight Ginter will clear this one.
Brooks wins the header for Wolfsburg.
Maar Mushkoh loses it in the middle.
That's gonna be a foul against em.
Babu and a yellow card as well to go along with it.
So Kevin and Babu gets a yellow card.
There's been quite a number of yellows tonight for both teams.
You just stopped right on right on them.
So it's a clear to clear foul in the first place, and I think it's fair to give me Ella's.
Well, that's his third of the season.
Yeah, I know how still shaken up after that.
That one stings right on the studs is where you got stomped on and over as we're in the bonus legal for a short time.
Yeah, yeah, they were up in the Buddhist leader for a little bit, but then they went back down.
Uh, the ball from gin sec was behind ***ue horse.
It's now a goal kick.
83rd minute here on SportsCastr.
I will not be chased down Wolfsburg throwing here pretty much consolation time.
At this point, I appreciate all of you tuning in.
There's Gladbach are gonna come away with the easy three points which will move them two points ahead of Leverkusen and back into a Champions League spot at least for a little while.
Depending on how lever accusing does in their match tomorrow.
Let me tomorrow or later today.
I think they play tomorrow.
If I'm not mistaken, Brooks has it for vosburg.
Yeah. Lever choosing play tomorrow.
They play tomorrow against Cologne. All right.
That should be a pretty good game, To be honest with you.
Along the sideline now.
Lagerback for John Brooks.
Brooks to the near side, not change.
