Okay, We are alive here.
So doesn't you know? Wait a minute that some people start Teoh trickle in before we begin our broadcast.
She who? Oh, well, so 10 more seconds, then we will begin our stream officially.
Okay, so this is Episode five of the division talk Siri's, who will be having a finale Episode six tomorrow and believe seven where we will recover in E a l East.
So make sure to stay tuned for that.
And, um yeah, so it's dirt, so we'll do the original or the standard division talk format.
We're going to start with the Chicago White Sox, and we're way down to finish off with the Twins.
I'm so looking overall at the lineup for the White Sox, they have a lot of pictures listed.
As for their kind of in a rebuild, I think they're trying to find their way out of the rebuild.
I think they definitely have still, like one or two more years left in a rebuild state.
I definitely think there near the end of it, though, so they're starting pitchers.
Are they a lot more than five mus**** that don't cease, Jimmy, No, actually a Carson former Lucas Giolito Joe Gonzalez in Hamilton Dusk cycle was definitely in the highlight of this pitching staff.
In all the move is, and Carlos rode on.
So definitely a not the greatest.
Definitely not the greatest pitching staff ever.
Do you think dust can go? You? Just having him is very hopeful.
He's obviously a pretty solid picture.
He doesn't put up great numbers at each 32.
He's definitely got a good amount of years left in him.
I think that he's definitely very high highlight on this roster.
I don't know anything.
He does bring up the the skill level of this off the White Sox lineup.
Definitely the starting pitching rotation definitely adds, um, kind of a aspect of having the ace online Up definitely is very going to be very impactful on the Chicago White Sox lab this year.
Moving onto their catchers, you got Yasmani Grandal, and you got James McCann looking at their stats over the past few years, they have very similar stats, with us monogrammed, all having a to 41 career average and James McCann having 847 after a career average, obviously gondolas had more, Uh, has played longer at each 31.
But Jamie Mechanic each 29.
It isn't much of a difference.
So it anything they have. Okay, Catchers.
Both Rondell and you can have had their appears and definitely have had their down years.
They are very, um there.
Definitely kind of in the middle of the catching area.
Their average is our batting average on 2 50 career.
So definitely they have their ups seasons, and they're down seasons.
Eso It's really just a question of who's gonna start? I don't really know.
And then he just has to go down to defense because they're pretty similar on the bad in steps.
Attaching situation for the shoot couple.
Let me in there, Infielders.
You got Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, Danny Men **** and yawn. Yawn.
Definitely think Tim Anderson and John Ammon Keita are definitely high prospects for them.
They definitely turn into players that the what stops you definitely try and build their team around.
Tim Anderson, I think put up some pretty solid numbers last year and your Moncada is pretty solid as well.
I definitely think that we really saw it in field.
Um, some older older plan was a approved to kind of lead them as a veteran.
So I definitely think that they have a pretty solid and feel Thank you really are w b U s a for follow follow.
So moving under the outfielders you got Adam in gold.
You got Lori Garcia, Your alloy humanise. Yeah.
No more mazara that Louis.
So definitely a, um, younger outfield No.
One over the age of 29 Definitely younger outfielders.
Overall, I definitely think they're trying to build out that outfield.
I do think that it's kind of it.
Okay, I feel I definitely think most of the players are kind of developing and getting used to getting at game time in the m o.
So I don't really think the outfield was kind of a little bit lacking on the site, uh, overall like skill at the moment.
But I do think that it will overall grow and talent, and I think you will definitely be a positive side of things in the next couple of years.
Well, looking at their d h, you got everyone in Carnesi own last year.
He actually had a a year.
You had a lot of home runs, hitting 34 home runs on the season.
He had a tooth around a to 50 average.
So definitely an OK year for in current ASEAN.
I definitely think it each 37.
I believe that he definitely is a little lacking on the I think he's has in a couple of years left in him.
H really fits him.
It's the only way really, that you could get him on the field.
I think he can still put up some pretty selling numbers batting.
As we saw last year, I do think that he is going to be a pretty song th but I don't think he is really gonna produce as well as he was in the past couple of years and I definitely think he is near the end of his career.
Are moving on to our second team will have the Cleveland Indians, so overall I think the Cleveland Indians are kind of devolving kind of going back into a rebuild state.
I think that might come as a shock to many people, but really looking overall at their starting pitching, in relief, fishing.
They don't have anyone that kind of like, really stands out to you.
They don't have that East the Lost chord.
So definitely no one, really.
That and stand out to you and really feels like that person is the leader in for the starting pitcher position.
I really think that we might see us one of their younger pitchers or older pictures.
Kind of inside the dumb.
You have handy high inside the dummy, l think.
And I definitely don't think the Did they lose Trevor Bauer? Yes, they did.
They did lose Trevor Bauer.
So I really do think that the Cleveland Indians have kind of lost their pitching.
Are you know, last year? Yes, I do.
Uh, he is my friend from school and she said, The dugout is my friend from hockey, Better wages.
Get that situated.
So just overall, I do think that the that the Cleveland Indians have kind of lost a lot of their pitching town.
They've kind of lost most of their They've lost all of their stars.
I definitely think that we could see maybe one of their pictures off standard out and have a break out year.
Maybe, but I do not.
I think that they really have lost a lot off talent on the pitching.
Several very, which is I think he's going to very much hurt them in their playoff chances.
So looking at their catchers, they have standing Lee on and Roberto Perez definitely at each 31.
I definitely think that they're catching position, very much lacking.
I do think that they kind of have a little bit of a problem there.
They definitely tried out.
I think it was Nieto.
They definitely I think they tried out Nido from from the Mets, but obviously that didn't work out.
He's so I definitely think that the catching position is definitely kind of their problem here, along with the pitching, their definitely kind of going downward and talent as a team.
I think they're kind of slowly going back into a rebuild state.
Definitely, they're losing a lot of their better players this year.
So looking onto their infielders Uh uh, Christian or Oyo Caesar named is Francisco Indoor Jose Ramirez and promised in Tanna uh, juvenile dude, Thanks for the follow um, definitely some highlights.
And Carlo Stanton, Although it age before, he's definitely getting on the older side of things.
I definitely think that he is kind of going downward, and he only has a couple of years left where I think he can really produce at that first place position.
I think he's probably might have a couple more years left in him as a d.
Aziz pretty solid with that, but I don't think that he has great years ahead of him as I think he has better years behind him.
I think that the highlight of this infield is Francisco Indoor.
He's really good.
He's at age 26 a very good player. Teoh.
Look at A lot of teams are looking at him for 2022 2022 when he becomes a official free agent.
I think that he will get a big deal from many big offers for many different teams.
It's unclear who will get him, but but looking at what he said, the, uh Indians have not made Aw forget that pleases him.
I definitely think the Indians don't want to lose out on door as he's definitely going back as they go back and kind of lose money, their stars.
I definitely think they want to try and bring going door up and kind of build a team around him in the future.
I definitely think that you someone they want to lock down, I don't I do think that if they let him go on a free agency that he will sign with a different team and be very productive.
So I definitely think that friends, this girl indoor at the moment is very much so.
The highlight of this in fuel.
And I think he gives the infield a lot more talent.
And he, um he seems like he really enjoys playing be swells that team.
Yeah, I would never have watching me.
All this is a big smile on his face, So definitely a very young, talented player.
Do you think that he would be very good for the Indians if they can use wrap him up as he comes near the end of his rookie contract? So, looking at the outfielders, they have a lot of listed outfielders.
You got Greg Allen, Jake Power stealing over the shields.
Jordan Lupo, Oscar Mercado, Tyler Nay Quinn from, You'll raise individuals. Santana.
So definitely, I think that Domingo Santana and free mule races are definitely the highlights off this outfield, both at 24 27.
I think they are definitely the better players for this outfield.
They have a lot of.
They have a younger, out feeling with No one over the age of 30 so definitely a pretty solid outfield.
I do think they are very, very good considering the teams in the In the A L Central, which is very much so lacking division in in and of itself.
So definitely a pretty solid team overall.
So moving on, we possibly the worst team, in my opinion, in the entire league, we have the Detroit tires, so they're in a full blown read.
There's not much to say about them other than they really don't have that star that they can really build their team around.
I mean, robots, Orioles.
Ordell's a bad, too.
Uh, I just want to get I want to game.
Last summer, where the Mariners were playing the Tigers and a sauce, um, guy hit a home run, it bounced off the outfielder for the Detroit Tigers head and then went over the fence.
Very interesting moment.
Yeah, I was very responding.
He was the guy's third home run of the game, too.
Definitely don't have that start to build that team around.
They don't have great pitching.
You don't really have great catching.
They don't have great interview all.
I mean, you have a well girl Cabrera, but he's near.
He's at age 37 definitely near the end. It's career.
His best years are behind him.
He definitely is more A.
I think you might move them down to the D H position.
He's just kind of just gonna finish out his lasting with the uh in the year.
I really do not think that he is as good as he wasn't passed.
Obviously, I do not think Oh, um that are that.
Overall, the Detroit Tigers are all really contender.
Even with the ideas of a 16 team playoff or 54 game season, I don't think they could use even get close to sneaking in there.
Even if they go on a run, it just does not seeing plausible at the current moment.
Well, looking at their out ability.
See Nico Good, wrong.
You see Jacoby Jones.
You got a camera? Maybe.
And yet Victor is definitely okay.
I feel I mean, you go good. Wrong.
You clear? That has been overall.
Talked about a lot and has been, I think I think overemphasized.
He really hasn't produced He had at a career average of, like 2 45 I believe.
Definitely not Very good.
I think you will be doing this pretty solid.
I do think that there outfields.
It's definitely the best part of their role.
Um, just the lineup.
I forgot to mention they have Jonathan scope in the infield, so he's pretty solid says in good years, but he's at age 28.
I do not think that the Tigers have enough time to really solidify the team around him because I do not think that they will be out of this rebuild anytime soon.
Um, definitely highlight ISS the outfield.
They don't have anyone listed as the designated hitter.
So I do think there will be rotating players in throughout their like money of the rebuilding teams we saw in last episode where we covered the a l west.
So I definitely think that we will see a lot of Miguel Cabrera at or Yeah, lots of holes we will be seeing.
Well, Cabrera at that.
The age position for many of for most of the season because of his age, He's a lot of older than player, so definitely probably will see him there on now.
Spencer Torkelsson is gonna be a studio.
I think they will.
Still will be in this real for a pretty solid a long time.
So moving on, we have the Kansas City Royals.
Do you think they are also kind of like Detroit? They really are.
Yeah, her is definitely washed at each 37.
He's definitely had his best years around 10 years behind.
So looking at the Royals, pitching really don't have anyone.
That stands out to me in any way.
I mean, just look, they have a lot of people listed.
Definitely gonna try moving people up and down from the miners.
Just trying to see who really works with this rebuilding a chance at on standing Duffy Jacob Judas Brad Killer.
Um uh, Glass Sparkman.
And that is the starting fishing on.
Do you think that they definitely have a lot younger, uh, the pitching area.
But I do think that they still have some older players.
Definitely, though I do think pitching in the Ailes definitely a lot different pitching.
The NL think he could pitch a lot longer, just considering the fact that you don't have to bet.
And I do think that if you can be like a Verlander who still pitching really solidly at age and you believe 37 or 38 he's very good at the moment.
He still has been good for many years on, has come onto the scene at a very much older age.
So looking at their catchers, you can Gallagher Gallagher and Salvador Perez.
I do think that Salvador Perez is a lot better.
I think that he a in season 27 home runs 235 average in ER r B I's eso definitely kind of a and he's more of a power hitter.
You definitely didn't get that average.
That is really great.
2 35 is not a very good average.
I think that personally, a great average is like 300 plus or a and in okay averages 2 50 plus.
But a bad average, I do believe is 2 50 down.
I mean, if you are a very good power hitter to 50 down, just hitting like 40 home runs a year, I think that's pretty selling to.
But I do not think that, um, that if you don't have a good average, I do not think that you can really produce unless you're very, very solid power hitter.
Um uh, were the infield got 100? Dozer McKell Franco, Nikki Lopez, Ryan McBroom with Mary Field, Albert Mondesi and Ryan O her.
So definitely pretty young out infield yet Win marriage field.
The oldest player, 31 But really everyone else's 20 and younger, so definitely older, younger infield that you could definitely build around and develop.
So I definitely think they have pretty high hopes for, I think, like two or three years in the future with this team.
Very, very young, some pretty solid talent around the board.
I just don't think they have right now. Moving.
Looking at their outfield got Alex Gordon, Brett Phillips, Jorge Salar and Bella's starlings and pretty young outfield.
Alex Gordon, at 36 is by far the oldest player on the lineup but definitely a younger outfield.
I do think that, um that they have pretty solid outfield.
Their issue got where Isil are.
Twice 265 average to Presov.
He hit 48 home runs last year.
So very, very solid player overall.
So do you think that they can really try and build a good team around him? He's at each 20 feet, so definitely has some pretty solid years ahead of them.
Uh, moving on to our final team and do believe that they are really solid.
The Minnesota Twins.
So looking over off their starting pitching, they got Homer Bailey.
Jose Barrios, You got Rich Hill, Kenta Padilla, Jake Order Rizzi and Devon Smeltzer.
So I do think that Gatewood a Rizzi is Kyla fee star in this starting pitching the deal Pretty saw both had pretty solid starting pitching in general.
I do think they have the best pitching in the division, not this pitch division.
Personally, I believe does not have great pitching.
They don't really none of them really have great stars.
I think Dallas cycle Jake Odorizzi Air.
Probably the highlights of this of this division, but definitely one of the better pitching staffs.
Probably the best pitching staff in the division.
So we'll be on any catchers you got.
They got Williams us still, though.
And you got this, governor, so definitely in.
Uh, catching position.
That's really anyone that really stands out to me in any way whatsoever.
So definitely a, um, catching staff.
That's much like I think the Cleveland Indians are pretty average.
This car is the most underrated player in the league.
I think so, too.
I think so, Yeah.
He had 31 homers last year or had to 73 average on 67 r b I's with the 9 95 P. S.
So definitely Avery.
I do think that he will be a really solid catcher this year for them.
Thanks for pointing that out inside the dugout.
He hit 31 by the last year.
I do think that if he I didn't I couldn't find the 37 home runs in 19 games.
But if he did that unseen, you can just call me by the real name.
Everyone does that. Okay.
So, uh, the outfielders I do think about, did I? Oh, yeah, I skipped the dealers.
So you got yer? I'm gonna butcher this.
Adriaan Za got loose.
You have Josh Donaldson, You have Cory Cojuangco.
You got requests to know? I don't really think Miguel said I was definitely one of the better power hitters.
I think that he, uh, as someone who had down here with the amount of home runs being produced by everyone between has definitely jumped upon the home run train, breaking all previous records for them.
I think they hit the most home runs in the and broke the record for the most home runs by a team in the cold last year because to know was a part of that hit.
34 home runs and a 247 average and 79 r B I's with a 9 23 p.
So really solid.
Overall, if we look at Jorge Jorge Polanco's stats, he hit 22 homers and a 295 average and the 79 r B A r B I's with 841 ups, so definitely more of a contact hitter for, uh all right, Polanco.
I do believe that they are very solid team.
Overall, I do think that overall, as a team, the Minnesota Twins are definitely the best team.
India Lee If we look at their outfielders, you got Brian Byron Buxton's You got Jake Cave.
Young Mormon Gonzalez got next.
Kettler, and you got any resort overall looking at these people, I think environment bucks did.
It's definitely been a very the full prospect over the years.
Do you think that he has been kind of been hoping for? Everyone's been hoping for him to kind of like show have a great year one year, but he didn't really produce last year had 262 average 10 home runs and 46 r b I's within eat 27 ps.
So definitely kind of a down season overall.
Looking at these, I think the I believe this star off the outfield for them is any.
Rosario is very fast, very good.
Me outfield for fielding yet 276 average 32 home runs in 109 r B I's Justice team in the league last year and in 800 P s.
So definitely a pretty solid year for any Missouri.
Oh, I do believe he was the star of that.
Um, outfield definitely contribute.
Contributing to the record setting home run total from the Twins last year, Looking at their designated hitter, you got Nelson Cruz.
I do believe he has a great designated hitter.
Last years he was complete beast sitting with an average of 3 11 which was 13 league yet 41 home runs, which was tied for seventh in the league.
He had 108 r B I's, which is 16th in the league, and he had a 1.
So really, he was just a complete study last year, definitely really contributing and really doing very good work with the bat last year.
I do think that he was very, very good for the Twins and very, very contributing to their offensive presence.
Do you think they would have been better off if they hadn't faced the Yankees? They just really have bad in history, etc.
Is just really, really bad.
So now for the rankings, I do believe that for first place in a L Central.
We will have the Minnesota Twins for many of the reasons I highlighted when I was just going over them.
They have great batting.
They're pretty solid pitching just over all.
Their feeling is great as well.
They just have great batting.
It's just insane how many home runs it last year, and they still have that core lineup from last year.
I definitely think they will go ****her than they did last year, though I do think the Yankees will pose a big problem.
They did have really big troubles against the Yankees the playoffs last year, so definitely I do think they will win the A L Central.
But I do not think they will go pretty far if the office yogis, which they pretty sure what they will unless they get knocked out earlier.
So going over to the second place spotting Yale Central.
I'm going to put the Cleveland Indians in that spot just overall.
They kind of have the Congo.
There backwards and talent.
They don't have the greatest pitching staff.
They lost many of their stars.
They, um, very solid infield, pretty solid outfield just overall, they do not have the come bursting town that the Minnesota Twins do.
And that's why they are in second place spot in the A L Central.
Living out in the third place spot.
This is pretty easy.
We have Mr Chicago White Sox.
They're not great team this year.
They're better than the Kansas City Royals and even trip tigers, who are both really bad.
I do think that Dallas title really helps solidify that starting position of pushing area.
You still have some pretty saw years.
I do believe he's a the 30 32 years old, so definitely has some good pitching years ahead of him.
Do you think they have some priests on players that they could help build their team around? So that that is why I do think that's why I have the Chicago White Sox at either place position position in the A L Central eso for the four place spot.
It's between two really really, really, really bad teams.
I think that Kansas City Royals will end up in that fourth place spot just overall.
They're better team using.
They have more young talent than the Detroit tires do.
I think their farm system teensy bit better.
It's just really a toss off the corn.
They're both really bad teams who are in the minister rebuild.
So they're both trying to figure out what players are really good, giving many of their miners players and will be experienced.
So I would expect their lineups to be quickly changing around.
Do you think like a couple of players will definitely stay? But I do think that there will make a lot of moves moving players up and down from the Miners and the GOP.
So moving on to the last and final stop me of the Detroit Tigers, just a pretty bad team Overall, they just don't really have that young talent to build their team around.
Oh, they just don't It's just not there.
Um, you might say that, uh, they have pretty good legal, good, wrong, but he's just not really performed to the expectations.
I believe that have been set on him.
I just don't think that the Detroit tires have really any traction or stability in the form of the star player.
I don't think they have anyone.
They can really build their team around to Revolve are they have so many holes like JP Sport, 33 said.
They really do have a lot of holes in their lineup.
I do think that they can.
They need to help us solidify that.
So, um, I think that will end our division talk Episode five for a low central.
So tomorrow I will reach through me at seven.
For the final division talk episode, where we will be going over earthy A L East.
I will be bringing Quinn or inside the dugout along with Nico are SG.
If it works, I do believe that Quinn's will work.
I just don't know what's wrong with SGS Nico's computer or the advice.
I just don't understand what's wrong that, uh, I think I will try and figure that out off TheStreet.
So thanks for joining in, uh, and see you next time
