OK, so I think we are alive here.
Okay, So the question never going over today in today screen is where is the MLB? Basically will start or will it not start this season? So basically, that will be.
They just rejected this 114 game season idea that would have the season ending October 31st.
They rejected this for a few of the Reeve re rising on of the Corona virus, therefore resulting in a hung losing money that they would get from the playoffs.
So basically, this leads to the question of why, when or if Then we will start this season.
Basically, this question is very hard and complicated.
Basically going over how it is very will be very hard for them to start because of the owners not gonna gaining money and, um, players, payments and players Association off.
That will make it very difficult to start up basically the difference between the any John Mbah which are doing very well.
I believe in getting restarted with any each other 24 million season.
NBA's starting to figure themselves out.
The there are 2014 plaster than each other Basically the difference between these two these three leagues is that the M B A and the NHL all had their teams play around 70 games, basically ending their season around at all.
All the teams around the total, the in those seasons.
They play 82 games, so is practically over already.
Basically, this means that the that they just have to do playoffs, and they only have to worry about getting playoff set up and everything else.
Basically, for the MLB, it's a lot harder because they haven't even started their season.
So there's a lack of motivation to go through a whole entire season with no fans in the audience and with a big crazes, any Corona virus and well and like the broadcasting and money so many.
There's so many different like factors that make it so much harder for a team that hasn't started their season yet to really start and go get back up after the virus.
So basically, for the um, that will be it will be a lot harder.
Just do do everything that's going on right now and the money that's really affecting the decisions that's being made with the which is, which was a main factor in the, um I Sports one I want for thanks for drawing in.
So basically it's really affect heavily the just overall, um, money.
And but I think the impact of not going into a season will be a lot worse for the league.
Just just show an example with P.
The NHL in the mid two thousands of forget what year it is, but they went on a strike and ended up having to cut their season short.
As a result, it took a while for them to recover, and it took a while for them to recover and for everything.
Just Teoh get going back up again after their season was cut short.
Due to this, the strikes.
Oh, I think that the MLB is struggling really hard.
Me to heart Teoh appeal to the younger generations as a sport.
That is because of this slow pace, which, uh, they're trying to solve with a d.
H on their think looking into in the minor leagues, doing pitching clocks where you have, like a time, it's I go shot clock in the n b A.
But for pitches, so basically you have a set time what you're going down to, um pitch your pitch us And basically, that s o I would be very hard for the MLB Jew.
Um, do you go get back up So sports one on one said, What are your thoughts on the universal D.
H? So being a National League fan, I'm not a big fan of the universal D. H.
It is kind of I think it will black.
I'll take away a little bit of strategy of the game and it will take a little bit of a way on the strategy and appeal off the baseball.
I think they need Teoh find a balance between the older generation of the game and younger generation of the game.
And if I think if you use the universe D H just a quickly speed up your games, I think that it might take a little less of appeal for older generations, while also is basically just a big like a finding that is all about finding that balance in it.
And I think the NL in the Ale with Ali, with the D H and elite without the G eight, really helps solidify and find that balance.
So thanks, Really question So moving on.
I think that the I think I do, though, think that the pigeon clock is a great idea.
And I think it should be added because the games are lasting very, very long, and it does get kind of boring after sometime.
So I will say, and I assume that will be would be in a better spot than other sports like the NFL did.
A less contact between players.
Do you think that it might be easier for the M o.
B to work around this? So I think that, yes, I think it would be easier for the MLB over around this.
But I think that overall just getting started and with fine solidifying all the like television in the stadiums at the Hub City in all of that, I think that's, uh, that's the first step I think they've done.
They've tried, they've figured it out.
It's just now about finding a good balance between the payments and the agreements with the Players association and just getting something passed through.
Uh, I think it would be easier also for the MLB network around the contact, basically because there isn't many much, but I think basically, they're just going to go with all the teams in that hub city will basically be before that gets the Corona virus that we're gonna have to all 14 just because, well, they can connection between them.
So what Hope sees when you choose from sports 101 I think more of Southern hub cities just because the weather and that they have not been hit as hard from by the coronavirus.
I'm thinking more like Florida and, uh, Arizona. Maybe.
I think Arizona.
They've been looking into Arizona as a potential hub city, and I might.
I'm thinking Nikolic, Tampa or Orlando for a, um, another hub city.
So honest you will everybody touching one ball Be a problem, I think.
Like I said earlier, while answering, I'll streams. Question.
I think that it will don't just all be connected to each other.
Technically, with one person gets the virus on its you than everyone in that hub city from the that place.
Baseball professionally will be asked to quarantine stuff, so they will be a minor problem, but not anything that can be handled.
Eso Thanks for that question.
So I want to bring up a point about So basically without the fans.
I, uh I was watching a stream yesterday and, uh, this one of my friends, Quinn brought up this idea of the 20.
I got 2000 people per stadium rule Rick, social distances, the seats.
Basically, I wanted to bring that up because I think it's a very unique talked it.
But because without fans, I don't know what the atmosphere will be like in the stadiums.
And I think it will really affect the players like excitement and adrenaline during the games without the fans support.
I think that with the 2000 like people for stadium with social distancing seats be good.
I do not that I was gonna bring up that point sports more than one thing's for, uh, questioning that I do not.
I think that they have to work out a few of fat like faults with it, like the fact that there's only a couple entrances and exits to most of these stadiums.
Basically, they should thumbs up our devils Adam, So basically, it's, um so basically, it's I think, that they need to open up more entrances and exits and basically they need to figure out a way to make sure fans keep away from each other, respectively, so that they can continue having these having fans in the stadiums, which I really do think would help the game.
So we got a question from Tennessee.
Do you think certain stadiums will not be open and what do? What do you think about home field advantage? I think that certain stadiums, I do not think that I do think that certain stains will not be open, just you do where they are located.
I only think that, um, Pepsi's will like only those fields, will be open for them.
So I do think that home field advantage is severely getting taken away by the fact off.
No fans in the States fans will need to be cried some way.
Yeah, um, this for the comment, I'll said yes, they will need to be acquired somewhere social distance because something as probably will not cooperate with, because if they're like going really mad about the loss or something, how do you think the M. O.
B will deal with no income from fence if games start up with no fins? I think the MLB will struggle, which is, I think, the main point off why they have not started up.
It's just a very hard wait for the owners because they're not gaining any money from this.
They're severely losing money, which is why they have brought up the idea of cutting, putting the month salaries a little bit of from me for these pro players and then reinstating the salaries for the next year.
I think that the MLB won't as just a organization suffer much because they'll be still broadcasting these games live on ESPN and stuff, so you'll still be able to access those games and we'll still be getting money from adverti*****ts and stuff.
I just do not think there will be getting as much money.
Just do the viruses just affecting everything with sports and it's really got a hit.
That will be hard.
I do believe this season, thanks for the question, so that just about wraps up our time here.
So does anyone have any more questions that should be answered? OK, one last one, I was from House Man.
Do you think that players that are uncomfortable with playing do the virus will have an impact on how the games are played.
I think they will.
But I don't think if they were uncomfortable with the with play, Um, I don't think if they're if they're uncomfortable with playing, they will be playing at all.
Or they would you go to the Hub cities just because I don't think I think they would just not just not trying to get into the, um, flow of things with the baseball.
But I do think that if some key players for some teams decided to that they were not going to play, do the Corona virus impact.
Do you think that it will definitely have an impact on how the game's played? So sports 11 will be be able to call in.
I'm trying to figure that out later, but I think late in later streams, yes, you will probably be able.
And she, uh how do you think players will react? Lower salaries If that is put in place, I do not think they will be off happy.
What seven Just a quick one second.
So I do not think they will be happy, which is I think, the main reason why that will be a struggling to get back up.
Players have very high salaries and they would like to keep it that way, making this a big problem overall.
So I do think that it will, um I think players will problem.
Most players will have a negative reaction, but I think over time they will brighten up to the idea actually found of the plane.
Um, I think that wraps up our time.
Thanks for coming out here and stay safe and see you next time.
