Hey, I'm giving vitality.
Um, I'm just gonna be talking about the American League used today.
And be sure to follow me are men. So let's get started.
So the air least is, ah, pretty exciting to business right now where you have the Yankees who are one of the best teams in baseball.
You have the Orioles who are is historically awful team, right? And then you have a couple of teams who right now are just out of the wild card picture in the Red Sox and the Rays.
And I think that the Yankees are almost a lock to make the postseason.
No, I think they're definitely gonna win the division.
It was nothing crazy is gonna happen that you send them out of the playoffs.
I think they're definitely there's shoo in right now.
And as far as the Red Sox and the Rays, you know, we know what the Red Sox were capable of.
They want 100 a game last year and then won the World Series, and the team hasn't gone worse in many ways, but they just have not been playing to the max potential like they did last year.
you know, everything just went right for them last year.
All the time of the guys have breakout seasons, and that's partially it.
No, not people are expecting these guys to come out and be great.
Mookie Betts was fantastic last year.
Now some people in Ally expecting him and, sure, friends seem with J. D. Martinez.
He was pretty good on the Diamondbacks, but then he really flourished in Boston.
But now they're ready for him.
So I think that's tough for them.
But I still think they have, Ah, good team and that they're definitely capable of making the playoffs.
But the Rays might stand in their way.
The Rays, you know, whether or not they make the playoffs.
Credit is, do they? Definitely.
Now they have a very small payroll.
Now they they only they don't even get half assed many fans in the seats, as the Yankees do on average home game.
And you know, there.
They're the ones who originally came up with the opener.
You know, that's now very calm pitching strategy and again, whether or not they make a playoff, I think that they still deserve credit.
Um, but I also think that, you know, they just don't have their hitters are not that great.
Nobody is batting over 300 for them.
You know, nobody's.
I don't think anybody's gonna give him 30 home runs.
Obviously, also, Meadows been doing pretty well, you know, and some other guy's been doing well, too.
Go Tommy Pham and in France, Don't know had three homers, um, earlier this week against the Yankees, and I just think he had a job.
I mean, Austin Metals clue the best year, but dressed their guys even plays like Joey Wendell or William Thomas who aren't really that good.
Now this stuff is they're getting hit.
So I think they definitely have a shot at the playoffs, too.
I think they're all though maybe a bit bare in the Red Sox, because the race has started the season out better now.
I'd say they're on par with Boston, but is that better? Start is probably gonna give him the edge.
And then the Blue Jays right now.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr had a amazing home on Derby.
The home run derby was the best home run derby ever, and that is largely because Flat Jr he had 91 home runs.
Sure, he didn't win, but still, that is impressive.
It's no, he's not been the same since then.
So I've been doing to 14 no extra base hits.
So I really think that the home run Derby threw him off a bit.
I'm doing is with us, Um, and then also it is on there pretty bad pitching.
It's not great that they're just Yeah, they're not gonna be good for another few years.
But they have some young towns, you know there's, but, you know, they do have a bit of potential.
And obviously, the Orioles are the Orioles right now.
The team the IRA's 5 62 that is a Bismol.
I don't know how that happens.
No, but it did happen.
And the oils are are easily the worst team baseball.
Sure, they have the same rec.
They're the same, um, record as Tigers.
But you know, the Orioles are still worse.
It's amazing how the Orioles were actually pretty good a few years ago.
They were consistent playoff teams and even crazier.
A few years ago, Chris Davis hit 47 home runs and early in the year he went what? 56 at bats without a hit.
Finally broke a streak, though.
Just absolutely absurd.
So that's gonna about wrap it up.
My final thought is that Yankees are definitely Division Shams right now.
I think that the raise and the Red Sox both have a shot at the wild card.
I'm cured by Callie.
See you next time.
Be sure to follow me, uh, signing off.
