What is up, sportscaster? It's your boy Jack sees and hear back at it again with the weekly Sports Review.
Gonna get into things.
A lot of things.
This won't wait for more people to join before we get started.
Definitely an interesting week of sports.
You guys don't want to miss it again.
We're just gonna wait for some more people to join before we get started on with this stream.
Start with some of the smaller topics waiting for people to join in.
First off, let's start with soccer.
The African Cup of Nations finished up and Algeria being Senegal, one vanilla, so and that was not a great natural.
In second minute, Algeria broke through.
It scored, But it was like, Really? Are we gonna, you know, pass around Algeria? Think about one shot on the whole game.
There was that gold.
Um, but again, Algeria, one of the African combinations one no over Senegal, which was a huge win for the nation of Algeria, which failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
Maybe that's good momentum for that.
Possibly building to a 2022 road Cup qualifying run.
So Algeria again winning the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
That team course headlined by Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City, formerly of Leicester City, moving all announce of the MLS Major League Soccer El Trafico was this past week and between obviously the L A Galaxy and L A S C.
A Galaxy who came on top.
Big surprise, huh? I thought was gonna be l.
A f c winning that one, but L A Galaxy 1 32 Uh, Patrick Room's locked on Ibrahimovic, who called himself earlier in the week and interview the best part in the MLS, calling out problems.
Stay over being trapped.
She's playing the MLS a 20 on, basically crashing the MLS a little bit, Which was kind of strange.
Really understand why he fully did that, but again locked on three golds, proving he might indeed be the best player in the MLS over Carlos.
There for the l.
Galaxy win this 132 over the over L.
Who are currently the top team in the league, not just the Western Conference, but in the league.
Mitchell League Soccer.
So big win for the L.
A Galaxy now moving on to the more international soccer.
His name are going to be a Barcelona player yet again might happen.
It looks like Neymar.
Obviously it stated he wants to be with bar flooded.
Missed a bunch of pfc training sessions.
Um, confirming really his desire to leave the club and join Barcelona.
But psst! Don't really seem to want to let him go.
And Barcelona reportedly going with a massive offer, Tana Cash along with two players players offered include Alexis.
Where Definitely think would be involved in the deal should the deal go through.
I'm in FC Barcelona.
Eventually get name are back.
But I believe Latino would be involved.
Like Rosemonde and Bell, eh, Malcolm? Other players like those could possibly be possibly be involved.
Just be two players.
So then continue on one more out of probably a menacing Dembele, eh, Malcolm and rackets Hitch.
We might bet if I had to go with my gut right now.
Would probably say Latino and Bel Air gonna be the two.
My guess right now.
Um, obviously, I don't know what marks one are going to do, considering how many attacking options.
They're gonna have, obviously, already have MSG messy.
Think it Neymar in m s? Henry and I didn't got MSG at Madison Square Garden network.
Um, but that would just be crazy attack for us.
What do you know, Dio? And then you would have possibly Malkoff, like off eventually matches.
Doesn't make sense how you would defend.
I don't fully understand it.
We're gonna move on from soccer.
Barcelona could win the Champions League if they end up getting Neymar, even if they don't get any more things.
Probably the favorite to win it.
But we're gonna move on from Stockton.
We're gonna move on to the National Football League announced this week that Tyreek Hill will not be suspended for a domestic violence incident that happened.
We're going was accused of breaking him son's arm that was recorded saying to his wife stuff like, You should be afraid of me and stuff like that.
That's really horrified something.
Honestly, I was shocked.
I was shocked that players like a Ziegel Elliot have been suspended for similar incidents.
And I I mean, I wasn't expecting a huge penthouse inspecting of 2 to 4 game suspension.
Um what? It was a bit surprising that he was not suspended at all.
Um, but hey, wasn't suspended.
So the cheats to have it back? Um, so, yeah, there might have seen some reports.
They're actively trying to trade him, But I don't think you're in an assault team.
At least if I were an NFL GM.
If you put me in the shoes of the GM of a red team, saying the Jacksonville Jaguars, whoever I won't free for Tyree kill this one, sing a domestic violence.
Instance he's happy over.
This isn't the first time.
This is not the first incident that Tyree kills hat.
This is stuff that's been going back all the way to his college days at Oklahoma State.
Transfer the West Alabama, where they got traffic by the Chiefs, who a lot of things for being concerned over that incident that he had in college.
And now it's happened again, and the fact that the Chiefs even think there's a possibility that it seems would want him.
I just don't understand why any team would try to trade for him, given the the incidence he's had and the fact that he has not been suspended for a life by the NFL.
By now, it's America, honestly, and I mean, it's only a matter of time before another incident happens because you see guys like Ray Rice.
Obviously, he's not played since domestic violence is, but he's clean it up clean is cleaned up his act.
Um, that's not having, for instance, this is a repeated offense by Tyree Phil and the fact that it wasn't punished by the NFL.
Shocking, shocking, to say the least.
We're gonna move on to that.
From that, we're gonna move on to the MBA.
Big news in the N B A. This week.
Bent Simons, my guy, Hold up a minute.
Pull up a minute.
Hey, we pull it out, we pull it out.
Phil Unite! Then Simmons coming back to the Sixers for a five year max extension, and honestly, I was surprised they gave it to him.
According to the bias, Harris is working out with Ben Simmons in L. A.
You know, Ben's working on his jump shot.
It's getting better, so I trust that a little.
But considering that he's not me 13 and his packer, he said zero freeze made and the amount of disrespect that defense has shown him it.
Has he improved this much in one offseason? Yaeko it? What do I think has considering last offseason? We're saying the same stuff.
This is improving his jump shot all.
He's gonna be great for the six years this year.
He's gonna make a bunch of three is gonna be a legitimate threat from the outside.
We didn't see that.
We just saw the same and Simmons stranded in the lane, picking out, too.
Whoever Jimmy Butler.
Not by a hair for free.
We just fall that again.
And is that fine? Yeah, but he turns the ball over a lot when he does that.
I don't know if it's the Sixers year and future is going to come down to Benson's jump shot.
That's gonna be the main X factor for the Sixers this year.
His Ben Simmons jump shot.
And do I think he'll fix it? Sure hope so.
It was a success then.
You sure hopes up Bergen.
Move on to the unfortunate is the six years as Kyle Korver, a guy with six.
And for targeting I was in sixth off Jake Heretical.
Looking for some shooting? That's one of their big weaknesses.
Weaknesses now, but this? But the Milwaukee Bucks, one of the Sixers rivals toe win the easiest.
You're probably their main competition when the East, the Milwaukee Bucks, pick up Couch forever.
Another human need a good, real, consistent shooter.
It was just going to say six. Or sand.
I mean, it was down to the Milwaukee.
A successful Korver going back to his old coach.
Mike Budenholzer had his best year of his career, and with Atlanta, we're going back to the team he started out career with with sex, obviously the famous coffee machine trade on draft night, Um, but honestly gets the box of much needed shooter to complement the honest Chris Middleton.
I think the bumps will be dangerous and the safe it will be dangerous know b a showdown in the East of here.
So the least it will be a shout out.
Um, it's gonna be fun to watch hopefully, since they can't help it pull through which the N B A finals and hopefully when it Although seeing the talent in the West, I don't know about that on Loves Brooklyn is gonna be good this year.
Kyrie, Irving Obviously, Kevin ran.
I don't think we'll be back this year.
More than likely he could come back, but I doubt it seeing that injury.
But again, Paul George was expected not to come back after his broken leg.
He suffered in the summer.
But he did with the Pacers.
So again, that Eastern Conference is gonna be a dogfight.
Same with the West.
I mean, the West wide open this year, obviously with loss of Captain Grant for the Warriors.
So that sort of thing about playing field a little bit then obviously the Lakers get Anthony Davis cranked him up with LeBron.
This could be interesting to see how that works.
The Lakers now saying, Oh, if it is, it's a key to this team.
I'm not ready to say that.
What yet, considering LeBron didn't make the class last year at the Lakers and and this has never made the playoffs in his career with the Pelicans before attending to forget that, I mean, it might have made it like once, if I'm calling out of memory, might need it.
But anyway, the point of them who it was sure is a great player.
But is he going to be that franchise changing player? Always gonna carry some kind of win an M B a title for it? I don't think so.
Concerning the assets they gave up the Clippers also in L A Clippers.
I think you're gonna be seen.
You wanna you wanna watch out for, um, in the west this year? Oh, hi, Leonard. Paul. George.
I think they're going to Great, obviously.
The rockets now, um, I said last week, I don't think they're gonna be as greatest people are expecting them to be.
I just don't think that will work out on paper.
Looks amazing. You got Russell Westbrook.
You got James Harden.
All my God reunited with thunder that made it to the championship.
They almost wanted against LeBron's heat teens.
But I just don't know at this stage in the career they've experienced being stars of their team.
Two ball dominant players.
I don't think they'll be able to share the ball.
Well, it will match together like they did in the original time.
Okay, See, but I don't know, it could work on the rockets.
Could going to surprise him on the N B. A title.
Moving on now to Major League Baseball.
I want to talk about the National League, the National League wildcard race right now.
First wild cards in Washington Nationals, their sacrifice to the NL East behind the Atlanta Braves.
There are three teams tied for the second wild card spot as the as of this stream.
The Cardinals, the Phillies and the Brewers.
All right, they're all with the same winning percentage.
Um, but that's not the most interesting part about this nationally.
Well, card race.
Every team in the National League who's not leading divisional Washington Nationals, obviously, except for the Miami Marlins, is within seven games of the National League wildcard.
Every single team in the National League except for the Marlins, who everyone knows the track every team in the National League is.
It is no more than 17 back of this wild card, and that includes your teams like your New York Mets, who are just absolutely awful that serial bullpens trash have when Diaz, who knows what he's gonna be.
I'm saying don't see these teams with legitimate threats, but like the Reds air there, like really the Reds.
I don't understand.
It's just gonna be such a close fight, and you could see a team like the Reds to just come out of nowhere and skill that second wild card spot.
But ultimately, I do think it is the Phillies.
They're getting hot at the right time, two out of three and piracy split a series against the Dodgers, which I think was huge from, um, they got easy, stressful schedule coming up.
They're facing a bunch of some 500 teams for the next little bit.
But again, this National League wildcard race is going to be interesting and then moving on the golf.
I've been extremely open.
Couldn't street that this morning, but moving on the Gulf, I said last night with Shane Larry's tournament to lose.
Shane Larry wins the Open this year.
Honestly, I was not expecting to come in when the Open, but the Irishman come staring shafts pretty much everyone first.
After that third round 63 today didn't have the same vibe is yesterday concerned with such a blow out.
The weather was terrible.
Scoring was awful, but the Final six crew found anyone was under part J.
Holmes, who shot 16 over today, J. B.
Holmes began Shut 16 over tonight.
Head Under Start today.
Finished today? Six over.
Are you kidding me? But that shows how bad these scoring conditions were and is anyone really put a good round together? National ever shot one over tonight, so it's tough to be.
But if anyone had put a good round it together like a Rickie Fowler, we've seen him playing bad weather conditions before.
Really, Let's score.
And you know we could have seen him with today.
It was very doable.
They went out shot six or seven under.
It was just a little mean.
Chandler finished with score 15 under.
Rickie Fowler came into the day at nine under.
Tommy Fleetwood was right there. Also.
It was just expecting someone to break through throughout the entire day.
I mean, I saw Shane Lowry Bogie one like it's gonna break whose number it through after prison power.
Double bogeyed one.
Then what? Birdie? Birdie? Birdie.
Like already, Tyler's coming.
This is Ricky's major.
You stole it out, made a bunch of pars and bogeys. 10.
We're starting double book intended made a bunch of bogies on the back nine. I was shocked.
It was a very I don't want, say, interesting find around villages helped put the entire time, um, everyone just playing terribly.
I don't know what to say honestly about this final round of the Open.
Obviously, Shane lower winning up the last major of the decade.
Obviously, we'll be at Augusta PGA just outside of Santa System code at Harding Park.
I believe the U.
Open at Winged Foot just outside of New York City and then the Open Championship in England at Royal St George's in Kent, where Karen Clark one in 2011.
That'll be an interesting one running.
That's gonna be it for the week.
Thank you guys for tuning in to this week's sports of you.
I won't be able to do much streaming this week where she'll be back for the weakness for two of you next Sunday.
I miss you guys are replaying less dreams for watching him.
Um, especially this one.
Try and get my viewership up at my count upon the leaderboard and will go hard in August and try and get in that top 10. So thank you.
I will see you guys later.
