So we got some news for yes, and I don't think this lighting is good.
Eso anyway, baseball is basically the players are re countering again, and this thing just going back and forth, it's ridiculous.
So the news today is the countered MLB, with some apparently 114 in proposal.
Now I've heard 1 14 I figured 82.
Now I'm here in 114 like, What are we doing? And they'll be Are we playing baseball or not? Now the players are countering with They want no mortality to reductions.
But I've said this before and I'll say it again.
I'm gonna be a player this year.
Everything that's going on now.
There's even more with these protests and rights, protests and riots.
Rhona Viars Koby's death, 2020 has been a complete crapshoot.
If I'm in MLB player, I'm taking one for the team.
I'm saying you know what I'll play Whatever they're gonna pay me this season, play half a season, isn't it? It's not the time for that.
With everything that's going on, it's just ridiculous.
I know some people are very passionate that you need to get paid what you bit of his 100 or $430 million contract.
But these contracts were made for normal cir***stance.
If a guy needs to ah, get paid during a regular baseball season, that makes sense.
We are not in normal cir***stances.
You are in the worst year that we've had since God knows when.
Okay, it's just awful right now.
Tends to be like, You know what? This year sucks.
We should at least do our part.
But plans, um, baseball.
Making people happy and And it would be great for the sport of baseball.
Now baseball is not what it wants, what it used to be the best sport in the world, most popular now that belongs to foot on the world.
Sorry in America now that belongs to football in basketball.
Even you have sees getting up there.
You know, um, baseball is just not popular anymore.
And this commissioner, Rob Manfred, keeps trying toe counter with making a three batter rule by making relievers face bullpen guys and stuff like that.
And it's just kind of like, Come on, what are we doing? Um, I don't know.
I love to hear your guys thoughts on.
I just don't think that a three batter rule is going.
Sorry, the lighting so bad.
Yes, I just don't think a three battle rule is really gonna change much.
I think making the game from three hours and 10 minutes to two hours and 50 minutes isn't gonna change anything.
And I think what really happened is marking the baseball players like what I hate the most.
It's how he said, My trout isn't good for the game because he's not marketable.
Market his quietness.
It's OK if he's quiet, like being two words per year.
And yet he's one of the most marketable players in the game.
They made him into a robot.
MLB's mad at their best player cause he's too quiet.
No market that Bryce Harper is has years market that, you know, make it seem like like, is he gonna come through the This kid who's on the cover of Sports Illustrated? Um, if you're just joining guys, we're kind of just covering everything right now. Baseball.
Um, obviously, you know, I said before in the stream, I've heard that it could be 51 games starting in like August relate July after what I think and now the bleed.
Right now, um, it could be anything I love the courage you guys have to say about I don't care what it is.
We need to see baseball.
And, um, I also I noticed a lot of people just joined.
So I'll repeat what I said earlier.
If I'm a baseball player right now, I'm gonna play regardless of what's going on, even if I have to take a pay cut because what's going on? Like the road of IRS, Kobe's death and now these protests and rights.
And it's an awful time 2020 years, a total crapshoot.
And, ah, you know, this summer, as I said before, let's go out and at least make some people happy and ally in a very, very dark road right now.
I think it be huge, and I understand like they signed contracts and they want their money.
But in the end, like are you playing the game for the money? But you always say you aren't USA is about the fans.
Are you playing for the money like the fact is like, it seems like kind of just care about the planning on getting back.
They have really had a lot of issues with money and stuff baseball.
It's time to step up and make it happen.
Um, you guys, I just think that it should happen soon.
Hopefully, they don't screw this up because if for some reason there's no MLB 2020 season, that just tells me that they're more interested in money than anything coming years, Um, if you just want to see any of my other content, I'm on YouTube.
It's at sports statement with Joey Mystery tha his type in sports tainment or my name Joey Misrata and I cover baseball, basketball, football.
We do recover random sports as a lot of funds, though anyways, want to put that out there if you are interested in seeing more sports concept anyway into my next point, Um, what I love about the lead right now with baseball is I think we're getting more marketable now.
I was talking about how to make the game more popular, and it just be more marketable.
I think we all agree with that.
Um, you know, we've seen the MLB try to make ways for, uh, the league to grow and become more popular like you used to be.
And they've tried this three batter rule for relievers.
And if you don't know what that is, basically a reliever can come into the game and hasn't hasn't been used yet.
This is the first year they're going to use it, But basically, when a team decides to put in and the reliever, he has to either face three batters in the same inning or finished the inning.
So it's basically just to change pitching changes.
But is it gonna save the game? No chance, No chance.
Some fringe baseball fan.
Maybe there's a fringe baseball fan on the stream right now.
But I'm saying is, if you're a fringe baseball fan and you hear that the reliever has to 53 batters instead of having a matchup guy, is that really gonna make you and do a baseball fan? No, it's not.
And we all know that, um, the pitch clock is the pitch clock gonna save people.
I mean, yeah, it'll make the game go rather quick, I guess.
But for the most part, there's only a few guys over the years have really taken a bunch of time on the mound.
I remember the between pitches, and I get.
There's some guys where you need to speed it up.
But for the most so marketing now, I think the whole that's what makes the league popular.
That's what makes the MP a popular because of storylines.
For example, when Kevin Durant left okay, see to get of the Warriors a couple years ago, that was a bigger headline than the presidential election.
I mean, that was huge.
That was a bigger headline that I don't know anything you can think of.
When Harper, What use is kind of similar to what happened there left? Nobody should.
There's a couple.
Baseball fans were like, Oh, that's great, You know, It should have been a huge story line because the Nationals went on to win the World Series and Harper's old team after he leaves.
And it wasn't a big deal, and the only time baseball really got a bunch of attention was when the Astros out there scandal.
So I just think that ah, you know, if we're gonna make the game remarkable we gotta make storylines happen whenever whatever is happening make those story lines come to life, you know, make him ah, seem important.
Um, I love the jelly belly thing they're doing.
Did that commercial, um, out of us, thought or not? But basically it was Christian Yellow and Cody Bellenger just hitting bombs just haven't bought in talking about it.
ESPN did something with that earlier with a jelly belly special that, like playing arcade games or something.
And then guys like indoor and buy It is like the Puerto Rican superstars like they're kind of bringing life to the game.
Yasuo pre did that for a bit, and they're actually getting marketed a little bit and people actually knowing their names like I was talking to me, I was like, Yeah, years.
That's my team right there.
Um, you know, and people are here in my trouts name.
Finally, it's amazing how unpopular Mike Trout is, considering he's the best player since since Kang Griffey Jr Maybe even better than him.
But he's he's topped here.
Um and yeah, like that's That's mainly what I want to cover MLB's new proposal and MLB Ah, just marketing and how to make the game grow.
Um, you know, it's it's a tough time right now to be a sport fan. We all know that.
Hopefully where they're gonna come back soon, and I'm excited.
I hope you guys are too.
Um, it should be awesome.

It's been a lot of fun, and yeah, I'm just trying to make it.
Hopefully, I can do something good with the sports world.
