Palese and gentlemen, boys and girls love him back to another episode of Sports Tuck.
00:00:16
So no, I know I'm a two episodes right today.
00:00:23
Um, one was specifically just about all the other sports.
00:00:27
What's going on in the sports world? The other one was redrafting the 2003 MBA draft.
00:00:33
Now, reason why I'm doing consistent um, episodes is specifically this were in quarantine, and I think a lot of people need to hear to sports.
00:00:45
I think people need a Yuri drafting.
00:00:47
See where people, and it's exciting to know where all the players would have been.
00:00:52
Um, if there was a redraft, um not know when I play Madden, I know and I do like superstar.
00:01:00
I normally do an NFL redraft because I think it's really cool to see, like, who's your new Q B on Let's say the Cowboys or Giants or the Jets or the Patriots or the ****ing years, etcetera.
00:01:10
You know, I think is really cool to find out.
00:01:13
So we're redrafting the 2000 NFL draft.
00:01:17
There was a loaded draft not gonna lie.
00:01:19
It was a very loaded draft.
00:01:21
And who was in the $2 in NFL draft now was very notable is Tom Brady.
00:01:29
He was the last pick of the 2000 NFL draft.
00:01:33
He has six rings, and if I want the greatest quarterback of all time now what I'm here to tell you guys is you're on my picks of the redrafting of the NFL draft of 2000.
00:01:52
If you agree with me, I agree.
00:01:57
If you disagree with me to disagree, I I I don't care.
00:02:00
It is just what I think, Um, where the players should have gone.
00:02:05
Um, So are you guys ready to hear the picks? All right, I'm ready to.
00:02:15
Okay.
00:02:16
So a number one we gonna start right where? No.
00:02:23
Hold on.
00:02:24
Let me let me fix myself a little bit.
00:02:28
Because number one Tom Brady, Q B from Michigan As who have for the first pick of the redraft of 2000.
00:02:37
Now, who is number one in the 2000 NFL draft? You guessed it.
00:02:43
The Cleveland grounds now.
00:02:48
Tom Brady on the Browns.
00:02:49
That's interesting.
00:02:50
So what actually happened? Um, draft.
00:02:55
They drafted edge Courtney Brown, where he was actually picked sixth round by the pages.
00:03:01
Us, where Tom Brady was picked him Cleveland Browns could have selected literally anybody who has entered the NFL this century in this spot, the Tom Brady would still be the better choice.
00:03:11
That's because New England's 1 99th overall selection thing has gone on to become the most decorated player in league history.
00:03:21
He has six times six Super Bowls, UM, three time MVPs and he's been to 14 Pro Bowls.
00:03:28
Meanwhile, the Browns have used 29 different starting quarterbacks since the strike that last pages have used.
00:03:35
I'm sickened that are out there.
00:03:37
Um, uh.
00:03:39
It's not as as AH, though they could have known Brady would turn out the way dead.
00:03:46
Nobody did.
00:03:47
Otherwise, he would have been a first round selection.
00:03:50
Still, the Browns didn't get much out of Courtney Brown, who recorded 19 *** in 61 games.
00:03:56
Cleveland and done.
00:03:57
Groom was out of the NFL by 2006.
00:03:59
So again, and the redrafting of the 2000 NFL draft, I select at number one to the Cleveland Browns.
00:04:07
Tom Brady from Michigan.
00:04:09
I think that's a great, great, um, big for him.
00:04:13
Um, but again, we never knew at that time that Tom Brady would be the player that used today, Um, so let's go to number two.
00:04:22
So at pick number two, we got Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Urlacher from New Mexico.
00:04:30
What actually happened? So what? Washington Redskins drafted linebacker LaVar Arrington.
00:04:37
And where did Brian? Uh, early latch erred when he was nine to roll by the Bears.
00:04:43
If you ask the Redskins and old three how they felt about their decision to people far Arrington over fellow linebackers Brian or latter and Julian Pearson, they probably tell you they were fine with it at that point earlier that you're already had become a superstar.
00:05:00
But Aaron's in that made three consecutive Pro Bowls between 01 and 03 and forced a league high six fumbles and old three.
00:05:10
The problem, and is the Penn State product, played in just 23 games for the rest of this career in his final two seasons in Washington, where to mull Chew, Asus and injury plead and he never played again after suffering a ruptured a que ese tended with the Giants in 06 her Lateran cap dominating and is now one of just slide place draft and since 2000 who are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
00:05:42
Okay, so again as number two and that, I believe, is Brian Urlacher should be number two.
00:05:50
Number three is Ah, Washington Redskins.
00:05:58
So the Redskins had pick two and three of the 2000 NFL draft, so that third pick should have been, Ah, the edge.
00:06:08
John Abraham.
00:06:10
Ah, South Caroline.
00:06:13
Well, actually happen.
00:06:14
The Redskins drafted offensive tackle Chris Samuels, and where did John Abram went? He was 13th overall on body jets.
00:06:27
Just like Arrington, Samuels wasn't a bad pick in the spot.
00:06:32
I generally don't believe he was a bad pick for this spot.
00:06:35
For theories.
00:06:38
Okay, UM, Washington team traded picks 12 and 24 for the numbers.
00:06:45
Three selection earlier in the 22,000 offs using over the next nine seasons, the Alabama products started.
00:06:55
All but eight Gates say came should at left tackle for Washington Ernie.
00:07:02
Six Pro Bowl nods along the way.
00:07:03
For that, he's now remember the organization's ring off bank, but the Jets, Falcons and Cardinals John Abram was even better off the court over the course off a much longer career.
00:07:16
He recorded 13 sacks and forced six fumbles and an all Pro sop****re campaign.
00:07:22
That's ridiculous.
00:07:25
And he went on to post more than an nine sacks in nine more. Stevens.
00:07:30
It was also a first time All Pro in Atlanta and in 2010 and approve all as a 35 year old in Arizona in 2013.
00:07:39
Just imagine Urlacher and Abraham together for a decade close in D. C.
00:07:43
Wow.
00:07:44
If Furlatt, your anagram were together in D.
00:07:47
C? Yes, that would have been ridiculous.
00:07:50
I think the rescue would have been the new Patriots.
00:07:53
Honestly, um, they would have had the defense that they needed.
00:07:58
No problem.
00:07:59
Okay, at number four.
00:08:02
Number of horrible, Horrible.
00:08:03
Before who do we got? Cincinnati Bangles and who do they select? Who do I? I'm sorry.
00:08:08
Who do I think patients elected in this redraft? I think the Bangles should have picked linebacker Julian Peterson from Michigan State.
00:08:17
What actually happened? The Bangles drafted wide receiver Peter Warwick.
00:08:23
Um, and where did Pearson actually get selected? He was 16th overall by the nine of by the Niners.
00:08:32
Ah, warm.
00:08:33
It was the first offensive bus to come off the board in 2000 as he scored 18 total touchdowns and six NFL campaigns and never hit the 1000 mark yard.
00:08:43
Yard mark um Bangles probably wished ahead, instead joined a run on front seven defenders of doing Peterson, who didn't quite make inner latch or a brand level impact but still made five Pro Bowls over the course of an 11 year career that includes tackles more than 50 *** and more than 24 stumbles.
00:09:04
I don't think the bay goes to the um Peterson, but what happened was he was picked 16th overall by the Niners.
00:09:15
We're got number size Baltimore Reeve.
00:09:19
It's they should have picked the running back Jamal Lewis.
00:09:24
Oh, what happened? Picked by the Baltimore Ravens and number five So perfect, You know, do the Baltimore Ravens win the Super Bowl in 2000 and rookie sensation Jamal Lewis running back? Maybe, Or maybe not Bumbo.
00:09:43
Baltimore would have no reason to overthink this.
00:09:46
After the Tennessee Ah product brush for 1364 yards in 2000 regular season and then went over 1000 went over 100 yards twice in the playoffs.
00:09:57
That's insane as just ludicrous.
00:10:01
Lewis one over 1000 300 yards, gonna no to before exploding for 2066 yards and 14 touchdowns in his and in a historic 2003 campaign that earned him Offensive Player of the Year honors.
00:10:15
He had that 1000 yard mark four times beyond that in Baltimore and Cleveland, which was enough to land a spot on the NFL's two thousands all decade second teeth and I so that pic that cystic of the 2000 NFL draft was a perfect pick.
00:10:34
And that was Jamal Lewis from Tennessee.
00:10:38
At number six, we got the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:10:43
They should've pig linebacker LaVar Arrington from Penn State.
00:10:47
What actually happened was a draft.
00:10:49
The Eagles drafted defensive tackle Corey Simon.
00:10:53
And where did LaVar Arrington get picked? He was second overall by the red skits.
00:11:02
Herrington didn't have staying power, but between 01 and 03 was one of the best defensive players in the sport.
00:11:09
He made the pro ball in all three seasons, picked off three passes in a 146 fumbles and old three, and recorded 90 plus tackles and all three campaigns.
00:11:18
That's just incredible.
00:11:20
I think the Eagles would have benefited from the linebacker LaVar Arrington, but Fortunately, Corey Simon got select number seven Arizona Cardinals.
00:11:36
So should've selected running back Shaun Alexander from Alabama.
00:11:40
What actually happened was draft.
00:11:42
They drafted running back Thomas Jones, and where did Shaun Alexander get selected? He was 19th overall by the Seahawks.
00:11:53
All Sweet would be at the Cardinals to go back in time and steal Shaun Alexander from the division rivals Seattle Seahawks.
00:12:03
Okay, so the teams weren't even in the same conference at the time, but Alexander dead the lion's share of his damage after realignment brought the two together in the new look at the Sea West and oh, to over the course of the next four years, you burn the cars and 130 plus yards of multiple touchdowns on four different case.
00:12:22
You had a decent career.
00:12:24
Yeah, 28 touchdowns helped Si Ox recent Super Bowl in an M V P 2005 campaign run and went over 1000 yards and four other seasons.
00:12:34
Along with Luis.
00:12:35
He's on the NFL's two thousands all decades.
00:12:38
Second team.
00:12:39
No way, the time traveling cards past that.
00:12:43
Okay, again, that is seven.
00:12:45
Cardinal should have cooked Sean Ags Alexander running that.
00:12:50
Okay, a number eight pick spurt the Pittsburgh Steelers should have picked after months of tackle Chris Samuels from Alabama.
00:12:59
What actually happened? The Steelers selected AH, plaques a boat plaque.
00:13:05
CEO Barris on Why Receiver? What actually happened? Um, Chris Samuels went to the Redskins, stirring overall, Um, while Burrows had a strong career both in and out of Pittsburgh, he was never consistently dominant enough to be a top tier receiver.
00:13:26
And he wasn't on either of Pittsburgh's 21st century to roll teams instead of instead in the event of a do over, the Steelers would be better off upgrading at offensive tackle position, which was never overwhelming.
00:13:39
We strong during that era got at number nine.
00:13:45
The Chicago Bears should have selected linebacker Keith Bulluck from circuits.
00:13:49
What happened? Um, the Bears drafted Brian or larger.
00:13:55
And where did Keith Boyd? One.
00:13:57
He went to the 30th overall by the Titans, so apologize to the Bear stands out there.
00:14:06
But they and the Patriots got totally screwed in this redraft.
00:14:10
Okay, not only the Chicago loser last year, but it misses out on Peterson and Arrington.
00:14:15
That leaves linebacker Keith Bulluck, who had an underrated career with the Titans but was not around the level with the three you players re selecting the but at that position.
00:14:25
Regardless, Syracuse product recorded more than 1000 tackles while starting 130 games over 10 year span in Tennessee, where he was a vital member of Hair Aneel contender.
00:14:39
It was a first team All Pro was five forced fumbles and all three, and he led the league with 152 tackles the following season between all three, you know, six.
00:14:47
He was one of just four players with more than 500 tackles.
00:14:52
Again, that's pick number nine Chicago Bears.
00:14:56
They should have picked linebacker Keith Bulluck, but unfortunately, Brian allow Hatcher was that pick and number 10 Baltimore Ravens should have picked wide receiver Plaxico Ble.
00:15:08
Plaxico Burress, um from Michigan State would actually happen.
00:15:13
The Ravens selected Travis Taylor and again, ah, plaque.
00:15:19
CEO Barry's went lethal robots. Steelers.
00:15:24
Taylor was number worthy of a top 10 selection for the reasons he was never word who he only ar 15 touch sounds and throw 1000 yard campaigns out of Florida product.
00:15:36
Five seats.
00:15:37
That's just really bad on.
00:15:40
I don't know how you and five seasons.
00:15:43
You get 15 touchdowns and 1000 yard.
00:15:47
Can't these? No.
00:15:50
Ah, so while better is the inquiry have enough success to make the cut as skewers pick out, eat four time 1000 yard receiver Lands of Baltimore loans.
00:15:59
I blew it so again, well, the Marines should have selected at number 10 and the 2000 redraft Um, plaques.
00:16:08
E O.
00:16:09
Burress, Michigan State.
00:16:11
That's relation to select, not Travis till it okay, a number 11.
00:16:17
New York's Giant should have selected offensive line.
00:16:21
Sean O Hair.
00:16:22
Oh, Rutgers.
00:16:25
What actually happened was the giant selected running background Dean and where he was actually picked John O'Hara.
00:16:34
He wasn't, um, and yet another player from that 07 giant Super Bowl tea and goes off the board.
00:16:41
But this one wasn't even drafted and real.
00:16:44
But so electing Dane was obviously a mistake.
00:16:48
The Heisman Trophy winner never even had 100 yard season in the NFL, while Interior offensive lineman Sean O'Hara spent nine seasons as a stellar starter in Cleveland and with the demon.
00:17:02
The three time Pro Bowler was a late bloomer who earned most of his AKA leads after turning 30 I mean, it took him a while to get his AKA leads.
00:17:13
But at 11 a Nissan Oh, Herro should have went to the Giants.
00:17:17
I think he would have been a force to be reckoned with with that.
00:17:22
Okay, Jets fans, Jet Sands, Jets fans, Jets fans.
00:17:26
This was a perfect selection.
00:17:30
Defense defense? No.
00:17:33
So are a defensive lineman.
00:17:36
Shawn Ellis, Tennessee.
00:17:39
There's nothing wrong about that pick.
00:17:40
I have nothing bad to say about that pick, Um, and 2000 out is where Shawn Ellis landed the Orange Jets fans.
00:17:49
I agree with that.
00:17:50
Um, Shawn Ellis should have been with the Jets, and he did was he was with the Jets.
00:17:57
You.
00:17:59
His stats was yet 70 sacks over the course of a strong 12 year career.
00:18:03
He finished in New England, Um, during New York's two runs to the A F C championship in 09 and 10 before playing a relatively key role on a New England team that went to the Super Bowl and 2011.
00:18:20
Okay, Number 13 New York Jets should have got the dahlias. Thomas.
00:18:29
What actually happened is the judge drafted edge, John Abraham to the Jets that picked their team.
00:18:36
Where did Adalius Thomas go? He was sixth round pick by the brief.
00:18:45
Number 14.
00:18:47
The Packers.
00:18:48
All signs of tackle. Chad Clift.
00:18:50
That's where he should have been.
00:18:52
What actually happened? The Packers drafted Bubble Franks.
00:18:55
It actually picked.
00:18:58
Where did Child Clifton go? He was still with the Packers.
00:19:01
Don't get me wrong.
00:19:02
He still should have been with the Packers.
00:19:03
She was second round by the Packers.
00:19:05
What? I think he should have been 14th pick fourth back.
00:19:10
Regardless of where you picked you still ended up with He had 500 yard seasons as a receiver.
00:19:18
Um, this is Bob.
00:19:23
This is Ah, uh, Mrs Bubble Franks.
00:19:27
And so, regardless, Bubba Franks was on packers.
00:19:32
And so it doesn't matter.
00:19:41
But the Broncos, they should have had the cornerback also O Neill from California.
00:19:47
What actually happened? They drafted cornerback Tulsa O Neill and where he was actually picked was 50.
00:19:55
Gold robe.
00:19:57
Perfect.
00:19:58
Take for the Broncos.
00:20:00
All right.
00:20:01
On number 16.
00:20:03
San Francisco 40.
00:20:04
Niners should have picked edge. CA beer.
00:20:07
Bob de on Miller, San Diego State.
00:20:13
What actually happened? Where they drafted Julian Peterson and where was a beer picked he was fits round by the Packers.
00:20:24
Um, so I think that a beer should have went to the Niners 16 thick, but do so The guys disagree.
00:20:35
You guys give you guys, Really? You agree? There's just a redirect open Raiders agile well, of late.
00:20:44
My from Indiana.
00:20:47
What actually happened? They drafted Sebastian, Janet Bonkowski, the Caykur.
00:20:52
And where did from this edge go? He wasn't.
00:20:56
He was undrafted from Miami Dolphin.
00:21:00
Um, he show went to the Raiders 17 pic.
00:21:03
I really do believe that you should, but history has spoken.
00:21:09
And he was undrafted, too, though a number et the Jets safety Younger ran Tennessee.
00:21:18
What happened was Child.
00:21:19
Pennington was drafted 18th and Dion Graham was actually picked second round by the Panthers and 19 Seattle Seahawks should pick the wild receiver.
00:21:32
Look there, on with schools from Florida State.
00:21:35
What actually happened? Was they drafted running back Shaun Alexander and where was he Actually picked their around by the Jets? Number 20 wide receiver, neurology accent from Florida.
00:21:47
He were actually happened to be drafted offensive tackle, stock armed, make do of Doug Wead, nights where the Detroit Lions picked.
00:21:57
They should actually picked the road Jackson.
00:21:59
But Darrell Jackson was actually picked around by the Seahawks.
00:22:04
21st pick.
00:22:06
Kansas City Chiefs Offense Attack.
00:22:08
Marble Smith, Arizona State.
00:22:10
What actually happened? Was drafted wide receivers Sylvester and Boris, and where was he? Actually picks up around by the Steelers.
00:22:19
22.
00:22:20
Seattle Seahawks Should've picked Thomas Jones, MK, Chris MC and Tosh was actually picked by the sea ox.
00:22:27
And, um, Thomas Jones was seventh overall by the Cardinals.
00:22:36
Carolina Panthers Stood.
00:22:38
Have selected deep defensive tackle Corey Simon from Florida State, but actually having cornerback Rashard Anderson must put picked by the Panthers.
00:22:49
And where did Cory sign and go? Six overall by the Eagles.
00:22:54
24.
00:22:55
Niners linebacker and Nile Biggs.
00:22:58
That's where he said it.
00:22:59
Then stay.
00:23:01
He was forced around by 25.
00:23:06
The Viking should have picked defensive tackle Chris.
00:23:08
Hold that from Boston College.
00:23:11
What? Um, where did he pick? Was he actually picked Was the 20 Faisel role.
00:23:15
Thank by Baggins. Oh, wait.
00:23:18
That's what we're talking about right now.
00:23:20
Yeah.
00:23:21
26 Buffalo Bills.
00:23:23
Sort of selected a defensive tackle.
00:23:25
Cornelius Christian.
00:23:27
Where was he? Second round by the nights.
00:23:36
Yeah, 27 New York Jets to depict quarterback Mark Bolger.

00:23:48

00:24:00

00:24:07
Jacksonville Jaguars should've selected all offensive line and Brad Me stir from Northern Iowa, and he was actually selected second round by the Jaguars.
00:24:19
And here are the last two pics of the 2000 redraft 30th pick Tennessee Titans Fred Robins.
00:24:29
Defense to talk.
00:24:32
Robbins actually was selected second round about it like, regardless, you would have wanted.
00:24:38
Um, I think you should have went to the Titans.
00:24:42
I I just don't see why, for Robbins was picked second round, but that's just me.
00:24:50
ST.
00:24:51
Louis Rams linebacker Marcus Washington augur what actually happened.
00:24:57
Rat.
00:24:58

00:00:09
00:23:36
