I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker.
And here's four questionable offseason moves for me, and it starts with the Bear signing Jimmy Graham toe two year, $16 million contract with six million of that guaranteed.
He runs like a dad.
I mean, strangely and one, maybe not strangely.
Green Bay used Graham a lot, is an in line blocker and which isn't at all what he had done up to this point of his career.
And it tells you a lot of what the Packers thought of him, and I get that.
Chicago wants to use the middle of the field for easier targets for Mitch Robiskie.
I get that, and they drafted Coal.
Commit to help in that regard, too.
But ac***ulating so many tight ends is just overkill.
And Graham is just so non threatening at this stage of his career, especially for that kind of money.
Titan signed Vic Beasley toe one year, $9.
5 million contract.
It's only one year I get that, and he has been productive at the NFL level, But he's had one big season.
It was, and that season was far more impressive on paper than on film and he just hasn't developed the power or pass rush ****nal to be an impact guy.
Ah, the Titans seem to think that they fixed their ed rush issues by signing Beasley.
I simply disagree.
The Jets signed George Fanta, a three year, $30 million deal and, much like Buffalo did it off last offseason.
I give the Jets credit for really attacking their offensive line with a lot of new additions.
I just think this is one they will regret and will look to get out of sooner than later.
Fancy good athlete, but projects a lot more, is kind of a swing or really 1/6 tackle, 1/6 offensive lineman rather than a 10 year starter.
The last one is the moves the Broncos didn't make.
I mean, Drew Lock played five games last year in Denver, won four of them.
They're all in on him, and he certainly has talent.
But the defense he faced last year weren't all that impressive and I'm just shocked that they wouldn't add some sort of veteran insurance behind lock.
I mean, guys like Winston Jameis, Winston and Cam Newton were probably too threatening, but how about Andy Dalton or another veteran that could also, you know, it has been around the block that could help Mentor lock to some degree wow, acting as insurance.
I will say Lock supporting Casto is awfully impressive.
I'm just surprised that they didn't doom or behind him.
I am at Williamson with Yard barker. Take care.
