Oh, we love we live back again.
Keep McPherson talking LeBron today.
But no, we're not going to do the back and forth.
LeBron versus Jordan on the last night of the last dance M j you to go, You got it.
Great do***entary gay with some great stuff to watch on TV on Sunday night.
Can't wait to close it out tonight cause on sound tired of it.
But either way, LeBron looking at this article right here, says LeBron James.
Special Message toe.
I promise school students Now, for those of you that don't know, LeBron James opened the school in his hometown a couple years back.
It's something we've never really seen a professional athlete do.
Not at this level, basically investing in the future, where he's from a kid from Akron, making sure that those kids from Akron come up the right way, making sure that those kids have proper education and resource is and things so that they have a brighter future ahead of them.
I love that I always loved that, and if you want to compare LeBron with Jordan, Jordan never did at So put that on LeBron's.
But I don't know where Michael Jordan School is or was.
He had plenty of time to open a school with his billions, and he did it with that being said, LeBron is a perfect person right now to speak to these young people that are going through end of the school year graduations, prom's things that have just been snatched from them because of the Corona virus.
What our love is, LeBron is able to spin this right now.
Some people took jabs at his literal um, you know, the graduate together, his little speech, where he came out, he was in a little like three D area and he said, You know, he says, some long lines of like You were supposed to have a good graduation.
I know, actually, let me not do this verbatim.
I do have the article.
He said, You know, you should have had a real graduation.
I know you should have had an incredible senior year.
I know that as well.
But you made a sacrifice and you did it to keep your community safe and healthy.
Now I don't really think these kids did it to keep their community safe and how healthy they don't have any choice.
Or what I do feel is that these kids who have gone through this experience thes seniors who have been stripped of this moment walking across the stage, graduating it will make you stronger.
It will make them tougher.
These kids can face anything right going into the real world, as they say, going on to college, going into ah, their professions, they'll remember Hey, I made it through the Corona virus pandemic.
I was a senior in high school.
It was March and they just shut everything down.
But we took online classes and we figured out how to get it done.
And ah, my parents honored me in a certain way and I took part in some online celebrations.
I remember LeBron speaking to us, and LeBron spoke on that.
And then he also delivered his message to the I Promise School.
That post is also built into this article, so make sure you check it out, make sure you follow the I promise schools from cool stuff on their page.
So you could Seymour into this LeBron James school is not just about basketball, you know LeBron is gonna have a huge impact on the basketball world forever.
But I can't wait to see what type of impact he has on these young people and these kids that go on to be doctors, lawyers, just good members of society that came out of this, I promise school that LeBron James created.
Another thing about this article for that one to add, is that, like out of all the other athletes, who would you have put in this position? Tom Brady? Um, Mike Trout? No, you got to give LeBron his props for what he is globally.
You got to give LeBron his props for just being a leader and being the man that he is on and off the court.
He's someone that you can have speak in front of these kids.
You can have all these kids look up to, even if they don't really like basketball.
They can look at LeBron and see that he worked from the time he was Ah, young man and now as a grown man, is one of the most successful rich people in the world.
So I think he's a good role model.
I think he's a great person, have from the sports world.
Speaking on this, especially because his ties to the I promise school it didn't seem out of place for me.
A lot of these graduation ceremonies and some of these digital things that are going on, I've seen them on I g live, and I've seen them promoted.
And I'm kind of like, you know, where these people to be talking to these young kids, You know, where these people to be in front of, You know, these 18 year olds that are about to have, ah, graduation taken away from him.
But I think LeBron did a good job, and that's not a job that anybody can do.
All right, that is all I got to wrap this thing up here.
