next family was popping is your boy.
Thank you for being here with me tonight.
Ladies and gentlemen.
I got my man Eddie in the chat.
We're gonna talk about some draft prospects and how they might fit with the Knicks.
Now, we're talking about draft prospects that air down towards the bottom of the draft.
So we're not talking about guys that's in the top 10 or anything like that.
Talking about guys that you know the next may be able to pick up with those with the 27 28th pick on the 38th pick.
And maybe some of those guys turn into hidden gems.
Do you never know.
So let me get my guy Andy over here because we haven't seen him in a minute.
It's been a while since we've seen Andy in the Czech Gladys here.
What is, though? No, Definitely glad that he's here with us and let me get my guy over here.
And he was popular with your brother.
How you feel it? One second before I do that, I got the wrong I got your wrong name up there, So let me go ahead and take that off.
Actually, got you as Isaiah Bronson right now.
I know you don't want to be that everything but don't taking Adderall screen, and I'm gonna get your name up there and then, you know, will be good, because, you know, I know you don't want to be Isaiah.
Now, I got Andy up there and he was popping with your man. Has been a while.
What's up saying? It's like you said, It's been a while.
I'm happy to be joining you again and chop it up a little bit about basketball.
Yeah, especially in this in this day and age, with everything going on now, you know, I mean, you really want to be you know, you want to be able to talk about basketball, man.
And I talk about all this all the stuff that's going on in the World Day because a lot of crazy stuff happening all over the place, man.
But you missed last show.
It was a doozy, and it didn't stop.
All the show actually went into, you know, the comments section.
You know, everybody in the comments section where the video was over you know, there were a 1,000,000 comments.
People arguing me, Guillermo arguing in the comments section.
You know, uh, it was definitely one for the ages, man.
It was It was one that it was one of those shows.
Let me just say that it was one of those shy I have, You know, the chance to re watch it.
And then we did a little bit off the comments.
I didn't go through all of them.
I'm not gonna lie because I was surprised about number of it.
So I'm going to go through that window.
Listen, it's been it's been popping lately, man with some of the, you know, some of the things that we're talking about when it comes to, you know, coaching candidates and draft picks, things like that.
It's really been booming.
I didn't get a chance to do the second shot for the members, but I will make sure the next show that I have the second chat up and have it up from now and on.
Uh, you know, sometimes it gets it gets a little difficult managing both home, so you know, but but I'll make sure that it's up there.
I'm pretty sure in the last shot it would have enjoyed it.
You hear a bunch of people coming in now, so there's a bunch of people coming in right now.
But anyway, it's and this is This is what we want, right? Some more people to join my fight fans to chop it in, up on stuff like that.
So exactly, Exactly more people to join in and chop it up.
It talk knicks with us and get different perspectives.
And the front stoop is popping right now to man, it's happening.
The last show, Not the last show that I had, but, ah, last Saturday, when I stream the Eric about doing Joe Scott battle, we had 39,000 people in there, man.
Ah, a lot of people.
39,000 people in there, so, you know, ludicrous in daily battle this weekend.
I'm looking forward, Teoh.
I'm looking forward to seeing ah, lot more people in there.
Now, let me tell you, tell you I'm gonna tell you.
I know for a fact that Swiss beats a timberline.
Seen the show, right? Because And you too, when you go into the ****ytics you can see which websites linked to your video, right? So I'm looking at all the websites High Hot 97 W.
Bill, BLS hit Pop DX ah complex magazine Hot new hip hop.
All these websites linked to the video And then I see versus TV and I'm like It's a versus TV that common like huh? It's me versus tv dot com So I go to vs TV that calm and it's just their logo and their social media links.
But I didn't see the video anywhere, so the only thing that I could think of is that either they e mailed it to each other through, you know, from the versus tv dot com email, or they have, like, a separate page that only staff can get into.
And it was on that page and they were watching it on that page.
I don't know, maybe saying, Hey, who is this dude and why is he showing his you know, our versus stuff or whatever, You know what I mean? But they all wear so we'll see what happens this week.
You know, they might shut me down.
I don't know, but, you know, we're gonna give it a go anyway.
You know, we'll give it a go, But listen without further ado, man, let's get Let's start talking about I got two guys I want to talk about today, right? Uh, Duca as a bookie and Devin vassal.
All right, so we have to start as a bookie.
Keynes's all right.
Big center from Kansas, man.
He's seven foot, £270.
Now he is a center.
I mean, I'm sorry.
He is a senior that may, you know, terms some people off.
But, you know, although he's a senior, he's only 20 years old.
He doesn't turn 21 until September 17 of this year.
He'll turn 21 years old, so he's kind of Ah ah Young senior, if that's what you want to call it.
Usually, a senior is about 22 years old.
He averaged last season.
7 points per game, 10.
5 rebounds just under one assists per game.
6 blocks, 2.5 turnovers.
8% from the field.
Hey, didn't shoot threes at all.
And listen, he's not going to shoot three.
So you know that could be an issue with this guy with any team that he plays for the MBA.
Hey, suits free throws at 44.
1% from the field, and that's my friends is terrible.
So of course, that's going to be an issue in the NBA.
Let's talk about his strengths and weaknesses.
He's got natural strength.
He's a natural bruiser, right? Like that's just what he is.
He is a natural bruiser.
He's big, he's strong.
Hey, can bull his way down low, knock people out the way, All that kind of stuff.
That's what he is. That's what he does.
He does have some deceptive jumping ability, right, because he's such a bull and he's strong.
He's not really athletic.
You don't expect them to be able to get up, but he can sneak up on you.
You can sneak up on you and rise up and bang Gwynn home.
Obviously, seven foot has been banging home, but you know, you could sneak up on.
It's a good shot blocker.
He could play in the pick and roll, but he's not gonna pick and pop is gonna.
He's going to set that screen and run and dive straight to the basket.
He can't score outside of five feet, right? Is that shooting in mid range? Jump shot is definitely not shooting.
Three shoots, 44.
1% from the free throw line.
You give him the ball around the basket.
You're not expecting them to do much of anything else.
As far as you know, offensively, maybe set screens.
Okay, can help you up.
I set screens again.
He's a terrible free throw shooter, and he's the kind of person has gotta work to stain to stay in shape.
But he's gotta work stained shape that could prove to be an issue form.
Who knows? We'll see, right? He took his senior year.
He got he shed some pounds.
He got in shape so that he can have a good senior year.
Chose not to come out last season, which was probably a good decision for him.
He has no choice but to come out this year.
This is a chance that he could be a late round or second round draft pick and then, you know, he'd have to work his way to whatever team drafts him.
No, I don't know how much you guys know about him.
And can he have a role in the NBA? And I know there's a center from Duke that I skipped over I was going to do today, but I didn't want to do both.
So I decided to talk about a guy that maybe a second round guy and then a guy that's a late first round.
I know there's a senate from Duke.
We're gonna talk about him right now.
We talk about this guy Kansas as a book.
Is he a guy that could be a late six oo in early second round pick, maybe late.
You see someone that could fit on this team? You know what? You even take a chance with this guy.
Given that he's you can't shoot.
Yeah, I might be a problem.
Get over here, Andy.
What do you think about a man? Yes, and like like you said from the shooting percentage numbers from the future on line that, you know he's not gonna be a shooter in the NBA, and that's gonna be a problem.
But he's a big body, you know, £280 he's a piece of work, so he's going to be perfect player for the practices on DSA.
Some teams, some players just just match right, So maybe they can utilize them, you know, for for good things.
I wasn't thinking about a senator in the draft anyway, so it's not like I would have really high on my list.
But, like I said, some, some people, some some players with some things, just this really imagine.
And if the coaching staff knows how to utilize them, he couldn't be the same thing like on a Kansas team, because he he was a starter there.
Only thing he's gonna get started here don't think wrong, but you know he can.
He can bruise down.
He can get those rebounds he can, you know, pass it out and stuff like that.
We know how the center position is played nowadays in the n. B. A.
ITT's not getting many looks, but you gotta have five people on the court, so you might be feeling and for, you know, on the GV team for for a year or two, maybe he can, you know, managed to cut through.
Uh, you know on the envy roster one day.
You know, I don't think he's gonna be able to play in Europe, you know, because in Europe they pick up a little bit more crafty players.
There was big body players, you know, diamonds.
They're off song.
Some people call him, uh, it's not the European style of basketball, so, you know, they have those.
You know, the more lanky, longer guides with so crafty moves, or at least around the room.
You don't need an European basketball.
You don't need those those big bodies.
So I'm gonna think he's he's gonna have to, you know, play in some other leaks if if he's not gonna be, you know, cutting the N b a roster.
And you know, the reason why you know I talk a lot about the center position with Knicks is not because, you know, I don't believe in Mitchell Robinson.
If Mitchell Robinson is going to be a starting center, uh, you're going to need someone that could be the backup center.
Right? Uh, and so I do think that you know.
Yes. You got tides, Gibson.
How longest odds gifts is going to be around.
I'm assuming he's going to get waved this summer By June 28th.
I'm assuming he's probably going to get waved.
So he's got about a month in 1/2 left on the team now.
Once he's waived, will the Knicks picked him back up? I think that they can, I don't know.
But still, you know, times Gibson is towards the end of his career.
So even if he does finish his career in New York, you're going to need another young center that's coming behind them.
Yeah, that's true. No, I agree.
You know, if I was building a team, I would like if I'm having Major Robinson as my center, it doesn't mean even the starting center you.
I still would like to have a bet around him and you know, a younger guy, because Mitch is, you know, one or two years older guys, there's any know that, in fact, that younger right? But you still gotta have a prospect in the back so he can groom him at least from the first years and then d A.
And you know, an event because, you know, I think everybody every position and the and then I'll be own and nb Rosser should have a bet.
You know, just toe get those young guys through the league and and through the games to the game plans and stuff like that.
So right, right.
And so, for the most part, when I'm looking at center positions, I'm looking at guys that are gonna back up, Mitch, just like you said, Guys that are going to are you going to be able to groom for years to come? You know, so that if Taj Gibson does stick around and he's gone, you got one of these young guys that's ready to step up.
Step into that role.
Obviously, not a leadership role.
But you're hoping, you know, if Taj Gibson is around for another 23 years to mentor Mitchell Robinson, that once he's gone, are ready to go, Mitchell Robinson is ready to take the lead.
You know what I'm saying, and you don't have to worry about having a veteran centre to mentor Mitchell Robinson.
You may have a veteran in some other police, you know, but you know, sooner or later and Taj Gibson did a good job this year, but sooner or later you know he's gonna be Herb Williams.
You know, it is not going to be able to, you know, do a good job.
So I think it is important to have a center coming behind.
I don't believe that.
What's his name is a center.
Can't think of his name for the D League.
Kennywood Kenny Woman, right? I don't think that you can count on him to be a center.
He's 6768 We're not playing.
It's have a small ball game that Houston is playing, you know, you still want to have that length.
Yes, you can get up in blocked shots, But does he have this size? You know, and I know centers are not the big bruise and type of centers anymore, but they still have more size than any woman you'll get knocked around down there.
He won't be able to rebound with those guys you hear block a couple of shots.
You know he'll make a couple of highlight plays, you know, But Kenny Woman, in my opinion, is Mawr.
He's going to be an N b A.
I think he's going to be better suited, you know, in a 34 position.
I think you know, like we said, a vet center with a big body is gonna be better Fromage, even in practice.
And, you know, people.
Some people might say you don't need a guy to sign on and be roster Just happen.
But if he can fill in a couple of minutes in the game, would they know the experience he has that maybe you know, a thing that that pushes the theme a couple of wins, you know, higher just about the experience they know to go around the awareness on the court that that can really be helpful for these young guys.
I don't think anyone expected, You know, when we signed prescription, that that Gibson, that he's gonna be in the starting center right this season, right? So and we saw how it panned out.
And I think, you know, we didn't have anyone better at the center position for for the starting job.
At least with this roster the this past season.
Let's call it that way.
Yeah. So uh huh we got there.
What do you think was going on, brother? What do you think? If their family. Onesimo.
I've been looking at his highlights, and when I see for him like I know that you say he can't score from five feet around the rim.
But actually, he's on.
You know he's athletic.
She's long, you know.
He's actually, you know, he looks like he's already MBA ready his body.
And I wear a mind of the Knicks.
Drafted him, May.
Or they got him as the second round.
A second round pick on the government.
You know what the ladies first and I know you that you want Ah, veteran, you know, in the back of Mitchell Robinson.
But, you know, we could actually bring in an assistant coach because we don't know what the next is going to do in terms of the coaching staff.
And suppose it tight like I'm not going to say this is this is gonna happen.
What's a poll of Tyson Chandler retires.
The Knicks can bring somebody like that in the work with the young centers.
I helped him with their game and stuff like that.
Or, you know, they get somebody basically like that.
The bee tobacco.
I wouldn't say back to center, but to help the young dot developed.
That's what the young guys need.
And I watched his highlights and sin.
He's he's athletic, you know? I mean, he has long arms.
He could run the floor and, you know, he creates.
I wanted to create space.
When he gets down low, he does.
He just down there, you know? I mean, he grabbed the rim and the reason why I would definitely give him a chance, because, you know, Michelle Robinson.
The thing this season we had a problem with was staying on the floor.
You got into foul trouble.
And when he got into foul trouble, the Knicks didn't have another, you know, seven foot guy back there to protect the rim and really the guard pickerel defense.
If he could go on, pick a road defense to switch out onto Smalls, protect the rim.
That's all we need from him.
Because if he playing with a high motor, he can't play 30 minutes a night.
He may only be able to play on 25 minutes that he could give us exactly what you Velma key gives us.
You know, you look at the Lakers, they have Jemele, biggie, starting and it come off the bench with Dwight Howard and we can have that kind of Tim.
Don't with Mitchell Robinson A Him.
I don't see a problem.
He's only 20 years.
He's gonna turn 21 years old, so I don't have a problem with All right.
I mean, yeah, I mean, listen, I've got to Seymour.
I've seen some of him.
I need to Seymour off him.
It really, really studying breakdown and really study him.
I get concerned, you know, he's shooting 44.
1% from the feet.
I could concern that.
That's, you know, that indicates he is gonna have a problem shooting deeper in just a couple of feet.
The wildest career.
You know what? We get him late.
Since I don't think that's a problem. We get him leave.
I feel you there.
Yeah, I definitely agree with you there.
Um, did you see you guys, you know, just just the offshoot.
Did you guys see the video Mitchell Robinson shooting the ball? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I actually only looking at that right.
And I would say to myself, My man, he said he was looking like Kevin Durant.
It was just like it.
Just it's just pick up.
But you know, the thing with Mitchell Robinson, his form always been there You look and shoot free throws his form always been there.
You don't some saying so it's like, you know what? Does he have the confidence to do it in the game? That's the thing I'm looking at is maybe just conferences.
Only his head could.
The form is there.
The form is dead.
You know, some saying, you know, hopefully if if you condone, turn it into No, until absolutely no in the weapon into the games.
I don't know what we do like you don't say in terms of who were going to draft or how we gonna build a team or man.
I hope you could keep that up and leave like term that they don't put that into the actual game.
But we will be more deadly.
Oh, offensively, right.
See, my thing with my thing is exactly what you just said.
You know, we have to be In my opinion, we have to be careful.
You know, people get excited.
They see these videos and all that kind of stuff.
And if you haven't seen the video, I'm about to show the video right now.
You know, people get real excited when they see all these videos.
Ou know somebody doing things against.
He's playing against, you know, I don't want to say, Why am seeing players? But you know, wherever he's playing against, you know what I'm saying? You know, people get excited about it, but you have to remember doing it against these guys is totally different than doing it against guys in the N b A.
You know, saying these guys, you know, they don't have the speed and the quickness that will have of the defensive.
Ah, like you, I Q.
The defense of like you.
They don't have the skill sets and total stuff.
I mean something.
I'm not saying that they can't play ball right, but not at the level that they do in the n B.
And then, of course, is about confidence.
Saying if if I'm yeah, I'm out.
If I'm out playing against a whole bunch of kindergarten guys, I go out there and do whatever I can take the ball, bounce it off their head.
You know, I could get a little off the easy joint, not gonna put it behind their back.
I could put it behind her back and back between their legs so I can catch it.
I could do all of that stuff against a kindergartner.
We try to do that to get some real competition.
It's not gonna happen what I'm saying.
So you know, while you know, it's funny watching, cooling everything.
I take it, we're going to salt.
But you know one thing soon, I don't know.
You remember when Mike D'Antoni first came in the Knicks and they had David Lee like shooting jump shots in the first season? He critic at the jump shot to save his life.
You're saying David Lee being 22 he could hit a jump shot to save his life.
Right? And at home, Allan Houston was saying like he would something people would just confidence with David.
Meet right after that, like the next season.
He became a 2010 guy like he was getting a jump shot like I will need to think his confidence, man.
That's why I think it is not to indeed.
I mean, isn't confident.
You know your work ethic.
Ethic grows your confidence, right? Yeah. I mean, you know.
So the amount of work you continue to put the work and put the working poor could put the working and your confidence grows.
Ah, And then, you know, you find little time five times where you can try to do it in the n b A.
You know, it gets tougher competition, you know, And then you know what? You do it a couple of times and you get confident with the fact that you could do it in the n B. A.
You know, and in the game changes.
So we'll see if he's able.
Teoh, ever do these do those things in the N B A.
Listen, the way he was crossing over, going back and forth doing that, I'm not sure I see that out of him.
Now we know what, Sim.
You know what? You know what? You know what I'm having High hopes it is because if he's playing center, I would like to know how many's centers will be able to guard him on the perimeter.
Yes, I'm saying I don't think no JAVALE McGee can call him out on the perimeter.
If he could dribble a ball like that, How many Senate you think can check him on the perimeter of he's dribbling the ball like that? Now I know I know.
It's just in the video is just a little highlight.
But I had been looking my man, and you really do this and you have to have sons guard him.
I don't think they have the foot speed that keep him in front of the Senate saying like I mean, I'm they may not be able to stay in front of you, going to get around those guys easy.
It's not something I thought was kind of gas the bottom.
But you know, it is.
It's just, you know, if you're planting, playing, pick up basketball, we got That's not MPs, I think to gas.
I mean, listen, the thing is, you like the fact that he can do it, even if it's not against N b A.
Guys, he can't do it now.
It's about building that confidence to do.
Not exactly that right, he's not.
I don't see him doing all the crossing over Boma movies.
To me, he was a little out of control right when he started doing.
Really? Was it be trying to do that? The NBA's getting tried to do in the G League is getting ripped in my name.
He tries to do all that, right? You know the fact you know Quikbook book to the basket.
If I could see him do that, I'm happy.
You know, if I could see him do that, I'm happy, Mark.
What's up, brother? How you feeling there? So no man that much? I was just, you know, finishing up the yard so well in those days. Okay.
All right, All right.
That's what sells slowing on that zipmoney.
That's money in the bank right there.
That was going on with you may be talking about Isa pukey.
What's your take on the guy? Well, I've seen him play a couple of times.
Could he be a service in player? Yeah, Uh, but for the next, I have guys in front of him who I would like.
And who the Knicks.
What will fit the next? But what? Him? He's not He's okay. I wouldn't mind.
And if that was the case, But I just have gosh in front of him that that are more talented than him.
Like Like kicks from Marlin Jalen all secure the Smith, I think.
Geno Smith? Yeah, that.
Okay, that's that's one of the guards who are like because he played a floor.
Either He's athletic.
I think he could shoot the ball, too.
And then I got another guy.
Well, so I have, uh, who else was on my radio? I can tell you right now, but But I was a kid.
I wouldn't mind him, But I'm not too.
Uh, I would highly like that.
No, I get it. I get it. I understand.
You know, even other prospects that people are not really paying its pinching.
Okay? The fit that it could be for the next cause. Everything.
All the players that I look for, how they will fit around r.
Barrett most more because everything has to be put around. Yeah.
Yeah, your potential players.
So you won't players the compliment him because he's such a player that don't he don't necessarily need the bull.
RJ, Honestly, he's more either team player as well.
That's why I kind of, you know, boots.
I always like this talent, but I'm going to like it more because you don't necessarily need the ball he's a team player likes when the ball moves.
So wanna you want to put players that's gonna defend when they don't have the ball? Player is gonna shoot when R J has the ball in his hands and players is gonna run with him.
So the players, my next time I come on, bring my list of places you should look at the guy that government compliment, RJ because because we need defence someone could.
The guys that I have with my lessons thief, defensive minded players close that can shoot transition players that is going to run the floor.
And players were high motor where I don't have.
I'm not worried about the motor on the floor.
When I watched play the diet, the type of motor on the floor for young, for young, play it.
That's one of the my no notes like I don't care.
You could shoot the ball at a 45% clip if your motor ain't ticket you, You You ain't gonna be the play you possibly can be.
You just like a halfway placement.
So are the bulky runs the floor? No, he runs the floor.
Well, even the foot.
But I have I have prospects that that's a little more higher ceiling than people people, Martin.
People are passing upon a man.
It's a lot of young.
This drop is more about needs is not about players who gonna go to the next level type thing.
But you have serviceable nb a place that's coming out this college class that people should playing close cause close, close attention to Matt.
But the book is good.
Output joblessness before I take him.
Okay, let's take last last question about him.
Are you concerned there? He'll have trouble controlling his weight when he gets in Leeds.
No, really? Not really.
But my concern he's fasten, you know he's not, but he had to shed some pounds, you know, it's like he has a natural, you know, some people, naturally, a little bit bigger, right? You're like a party like that, Carmelo, naturally, a little bit bigger.
And you know, he had to shed a couple pounds for this season, which you don't look like that what she did, you know he shed some pounds so that he could perform at his best this year.
Those plans that have the watches, weight every year, every year, and he's not skillful like Paul Pierce and Carmelo.
It's stealing a.
He's gonna be very limited, you know, it's a touchy when you come into the idea.
It's a different ball.
Game is a different ball game.
So am I worried about it? Not a word about it, cause he's still young and he know they ask, do if he wants to make money in plain MBA, he has to keep up with his weight, but that's you would have to see when he entered his leaking height.
Can't really tell you that not, but he did come into the college season.
Took care of this.
So there's there's some discipline.
Isn't discipline with that? Yeah, that are, you know, you can account for what I grew up.
You know, the other guy that you have to on the, um on on a done there, you know, you can be kind of remind me help.
It's almost like you have a watch.
McRae play Jordan McRae Do do do that.
Play for the Washington was a Jordan McRae.
Yeah, like he could score.
But is it is going to be like, Why rolls? Oh, one of those impacting scores that you could depend on if it comes off the bench, but after the most likely because he's kind of erratic, but he could score.
He gets his spots, But my thing is, our is our His baskets gonna be impactful when he's on the floor.
That's the thing with him.
Z talk about it for a minute.
Let's look at some of the information.
Devon Vaso I will get into breaking down David Bass a little bit.
De Vassilis, 671 95 played for Florida State is a sop****re 19 years old.
He'll turn 20 in August.
This season he averaged 12.
7 points, five rebounds, 1.
Uh, just under one turnover game.
He shot 49% from the field, 41.
8% defeat the line.
Look, he's a good shooter.
He's a good on ball defender.
He's a good help defender.
Those are some positives right there.
Those are positive.
Yeah, when you're talking about putting players around R.
Barrett, that's That's the definition of a guy that you probably want to put around.
RJ better right? Areas of development strength he's gotta give him.
He's got to get stronger, but it's only a sop****re sop****re, but he'll get stronger.
Versatility, I think.
Is it a place where he's gonna have to develop? Yeah, it's very like, but you see it.
It's very erratic, but he gets his shot selection.
That's that's one is other problems, so you gotta work on the shots, but he can't.
But when you watch him, he can score basketball.
Yeah, he could score right, because basketball try to developmental no fiber from the Philadelphia 76 no.
Able defensively is just he.
It's like if I run or tests coming out defensively, but you never know who's got replied what.
You tried to develop him into that.
The Bible is basically a defendant like that whole she stood three.
No, it's not well with someone of that you're fine, that the fiber kiddies up good shooting yet.
But he has that.
He has a force to be a good shooter.
This kid. He could shoot the basketball.
But the defendant, five boys he ate, he ate E eight and E.
And that, because you have to really watch fight off Seiple on what he's done.
30 wins in college, That boy with block and she's the best college defensive player.
He was easily at South.
I wanted a guy actually defensively and tell you May.
Yeah, but Fable is more stronger is more stronger.
But I worry about this drink with the guy because he had the White House and he has a wannabe frame.
He has a wiry frame that strength, strength become easy.
Where that's not.
You just got to get him in a weight room.
That's all you had to do in.
That's not that big of a deal.
He's not like somebody that he's super slammed.
Ah, a couple other things with Devon Vassal.
It's gotta work on that ball handling, and he's known to gamble on the defensive end, which I'm not sure if it's always a bad thing.
If startle is about their i Q.
To do it, then you know you could do it.
I would I would let it play the door if they're smart doing it.
And if and if it's teammates, understand that, that's what he does.
And so they understand.
We gotta help him out, right? He's going to gamble.
We know he's going to gamble, so we gotta help they understand those things.
No, I don't say it's always a bad.
Always give credit to those type of players because it's like they see something that's gonna develop, and that's that's like the I keep telling you, go get the ball.
But its motive for you to be, that's about to gamble on stuff like that.
You have a touching on ah, level of motor, so I'm okay.
If you're smart doing it, you can do it. You can do it.
You could really shoot the balls.
You know you can get the ball shoot, you can shoot the ball.
You could shoot the have got Super Bowl.
Yeah, it could be.
I just seen someone in the chat say would be a three and D guy and that for? Yeah, exactly what we needed to do.
But there's another guy that play for Alabama.
He's a better the feet of better the defendant in this thing, this guy and he shoots.
I think about things about under 40%.
I think that before.
But this kid, he's lost.
He's no stronger.
His defense is there and he takes.
He takes good shots.
I'm going to give his name.
But he quite fama Alabama.
He should be going late to around 38 or so, but he could go early.
Call it a little early to the second round.
I said, I'm not waiting.
Yeah, simple fact when Paul George came in for George, for my stuff like that and not really worry about the waste, But you could shoot the ball and things were pulled swords, though.
Yeah, he had start potential.
This kid has more off traditional rotation plan.
So you're going to take your time or Paul George because he has more tangibles.
When he got drafted to the base of them coming, he came into the league with Mawr.
More offensive firepower, big intangibles to the game and the Doctor Johnson knowing that you could running.
You can shoot the ball catching shoot, not ball dominant.
He could defend only the biggest hole in his game.
And I said he cant really on.
He's thin, so you don't have good bullet incomes.
Attendees get stopped a lot.
Ah, lot, Because if you don't have good, you have to have great handle to get by players.
If you don't have the size, you get what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah.
You know, sauce, you don't get the handle.
Yeah, maybe he's Any players know how to stop plans like that is just like a bump.
And like, it stops.
It stops his whole movement, this whole motion.
But he wanted to do so.
He's going to take time developing his body in the need at 1 95 It's gonna take a little bit of time to take a little bit of time.
Developing by me.
Moved out KK five balls for a second.
Let me get a Justin.
Nick, What's going on, man? What's your take? What's my take? What's it? Take man.
You know, we were talking about these two guys, you know I was a bookie, and we're talking about Devon vassal.
What's your take? I mean, listen, this year's draft, in my opinion, as part of the book, is concerned.
If the Knicks don't pick him, I'm not going to lose any sleep over that one, but vassal I like, But it's like it's like, what the You know what? Mark said that you know, the ball handling the gambling, you know, you're gonna get, you know, in the n b A.
With the defense is the way they play different from college.
That's not gonna be, you know, benefit for the next day.
You know, in my opinion, this league, this drafting me, I'm sorry, but for me, I don't want to hear No, it's ends of butts for the Knicks.
Get Karen Lewis from Alabama.
Oh, I'm and I'm more than a day with that.
Okay? My e I picked him first over Lemelle.
Oh, the ball to fall, Edwards.
You know, you said you were picking first over the mellow for a good actor you are sending I said for Karol.
I pick in front over the Mela ball.
Alex Karen Lewis First okay, Seymour Right there in the chat.
Well, I like that.
I see him there going like that.
Tell me why Carol loses a busy he's got his game.
Is that the trump in development And it.
But if you do God, Carrie got all I mean, I pool.
I'm not mocking Lemelle. Oh, boy.
But what? I'm trying to stay as far available.
We drafted him and his father.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm not too worried about that.
Listen what his father did with the Lakers back Justin.
Justin, I want to say one thing.
The everything housing about yesterday.
I want him to do everything in his power just because we don't know where Nick is gonna pick.
If the Knicks would have picked somewhere above about four, I want Levada do everything in his power to make sure teams stay away from remote.
Yeah, I think this is where his talent kicks in now.
Because what? Listen, I love Carol lives.
It's to a point.
If I couldn't get Melo Edwards, he will be the probably 30 guy who I would go for.
You know the reason why I say that.
What gives me is I see what happened to, um, you know, the brother, you know, but the different in different regional.
Alonzo, this everyone this want this one right here is just He's younger.
His talent is more so a little more cerebral than lines up.
He could more with is dribble in package.
It's even weeks.
It is elite, but you don't leave.
I have seen it zero tonight, but I you know, sitting in my seat where Karen Lewis could I'm a huge fan of him because he can shoot the boy.
Remind me off the air in Fox and it week again, that with R.
And I like what Andrew said earlier that no Tyson Chandler retires.
Or maybe I think he's in Phoenix still out on the way.
Yeah, right now, Houston.
You know, maybe we could sign him, and he could teach.
We left. We don't keep Taj Gibson.
We could, you know, start teaching Mitchell a little bit mawr.
Because, in my opinion, this is the year without your Robertson has start.
You can't be a backward.
I could see our little 12 punch.
Karen Lewis are about three.
Karen Lewis is gonna be his.
His stock is growing, even though even though nothing's going on, his stock is growing.
He's moving up the draft boards even though nothing's going on.
Let me get the K five.
I said he just got his head phones stuff in.
So hopefully the sounds better to get the cake live.
And he was talking about what was going on.
Man, you could hear me.
You, uh, you like you probably got a turned down some stuff in the back.
You know, you might want to eat those guys so that you can hear me.
I can hear a bunch of stuff in the background, too, So Okay, actually, that with somebody else.
You good? No, e.
That might be YouTube.
It might be the background, but Yeah, you go. There you go.
This is my first time on there.
Yeah, there's a learning curve.
It's a learning curve.
I need to do a video to show people how to use the whereby.
So when they decided, you know, jumping.
They understand how to use it, but not.
But you're good now, man.
So what's the tape? Oh, yeah.
I was talking about that investigative for Florida State.
I mean, he'll be good for the next, but he won't be there at 27 so they will have to trade up to, like, number 13 or 14 and go get him.
So I know what Justin was saying about Carol Lewis, but I'm definitely not picking him over Lemelle.
Oh, because you know, Lemelle oath is a pass inform guard, and they need They need hand badly.
They need the mellow badly.
So if they get the first period gonna get, like a top three pick, you know, they got they might have to trade.
So number one or hope, you know, it seem like Minnesota.
It seemed like Golden State that already need a point guard.
You know, pick, you know, Wiseman or Edward Surgical pickle Melo ball.
But, you know, if I was done my trade that 27 picked a move up to you.
Don't try to get us a deep bay Devin vessel Aaron Naysmith, because we all know they need three point shooting.
So at the end of the day, they need the three and D guys and guys that could fill a simple role, you know, So they could help out Barry and Robinson, but obviously need, like a, you know, winning actress in.
And then they need They need guys that could help Barrett and Robinson and Frank, you know, give it a pay in.
Smith ran do, um, Gibson and stuff like that so they could start sign and plays like a no Harry Giles.
Would guys that fit the mode, you know? OK, so I think that's where they should go.
But, I mean, did you talk about Fernand carry already? And I was a bookie way.
We talked about the bookie, Vernon Carey.
I had I was a booking and Vernon carry on together.
I took as a bookie off.
I took Vernon carry off and put Devon vessels.
So next time, we're gonna do very carry.
Oh, I mean, as a bookie, he find my Ivan get drafted? No, he might be undrafted free agent because he only he's very big, but slow foot it, and you need to lose weight.
You know, he's not athletic, so, you know, he might a lot of teams my sleep on him.
But, you know, he might be a good third.
Big men in the N B A.
But he might not get down much minutes anyway.
But the next don't need him.
They could get like a Nerlens, no.
Well, or Willie Cauley Stein in free agency, they don't really need Oh, as a bookie.
They have athletic guys.
Like what? Marco said they were jealous.
Smith on castors standees.
If they stay at 27 you know, But they might not move up and they got the 38th pick.
So they always get a guy like Chile and silly from Gonzaga, even though he's injury prone, you know, they could take a chance with that second round pick.
So, you know, now that flying your choices Yeah, I feel you may, um, that's the one thing that the Knicks have in his draft because they have three draft picks and they need everything.
It seems like, you know, if they don't need a starter at a position, they need a backup person at that position.
You know, they need everything, so you know it.
Zweig open as to what the Knicks could do right.
Why? But the thing is about the next Oh, they need to start rebuilding.
They gotta do it organically.
You know, I see a lot of people, you know, in the chat before other apple.
So is talking about Chris Paul and stuff like that? I mean, why would you pair on Melo and poor together That will make love our book go crazy? If you want the bar to start talking and going crazy, just do something like that, You know? Lemelle Oh, we need Cruz poor because the mellows a passing point guard, He's a floor general himself.
What the next already need to do is just high actress in and threw it organically.
Stop trying to get other people's players.
You know, they've got to learn how to get draft they own and build their own.
I think I think I think the idea behind Chris Paul is that you know he's his leadership Well, helped to mould someone like the mellow ball if they have them.
First of all, the Knicks are able to draft the mellow ball.
I don't see them signing Chris Paul.
Maybe they do sign a veteran point guard.
That's definitely going to come off the bench, right? But if they do not get the mellow, then I then maybe they do make a move for Chris Paul.
I think the idea behind Chris Paul's that he's he's, ah, culture builder, you know, to really jump started.
People were saying that Edwards and Barrett won't fit together.
I mean, to me, when you watch Barry, he's a three.
Any way he could play the to and you could click by, I think he's a small forward.
So if they don't get the mellow, I just get best player available.
I'll just take Edwards and then start Frank.
I wouldn't even get a point guard if I mean, if they can't get Louis, if they don't get the mellow, just get Edwards and start framed because I think Frank could be a starting point guard.
He just got improve.
His boy handled and his shoe, and he needs confidence.
But Cheney Akerson is a point guard whisperers, so you know he'll definitely helped.
Barrett loves playing with frightening Akina anyway, So why would you do that? If they can't get let Melo I make a lot of good points to be favored.
Can you do me a favor? My email.
My email is s Russell at nothing but necks dot com.
Can you just shoot me an email with your information? Can you do that? Um, yeah.
What? What is it again as Russell s r u S S e L l at nothing but knicks dot com.
Okay, shoot me an email I got you.
All right, Uh, get one more guy here and now.
I see Isaiah just looked as there is no longer day.
All right, well, maybe he's gonna jump back again.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's 11.
26 I have about four or five minutes, because I do.
I got to get to the front stoop after this, and we have a good show on the front stoop today.
Tonight's front stoop.
It was focused all on independent artists, right? Independent artists.
So, you know, this is gonna be a dope dope super dope episode, so make sure that you join us.
I say I'm a get to you real quick before I get off and go to the front stoop, man.
Um, what's what's good bro.
As a you can name.
Hold on one second said All right.
We went for I was there to get his camera set up.
C c I gave I said nice little tutorial.
Look, now you got the nice light and going on, so it looked good.
The camera looks clear.
You got himself sent.
It almost centered in the camera.
You got it the night you got it the right way again with tutorial last night.
And now look, you're saying doing this thing, That's what I'm talking about.
That's what I'm talking about.
Big shout out to Justin Hernandez was in the chat thinking for the Super chat.
You say care, Louis all the way.
We already heard why he believes in care, Lewis and then Bravo m 1982.
He said, Would you trade 6 27 and knocks to Sacramento for the air on Fox? So you're asking what I trade the number six.
Pick the number seven the number 27 pick and knocks for the air Fox.
No, I would not.
No, I would. I would not.
I would much rather I would much rather used to six pick for a player.
And then, if you know, if you add Knox in that shape, the 27th pick and knocks to move up in the draft, if you can.
If somebody wanted to do that so you can get Karen Lewis.
So you get the number six pick and Karen Lewis, and he's still got your number 20 number 38 pick or something like that.
Now, I would not do that at all.
Uh, you know, that's that's too much.
It was going on, sir.
What's up with you, bro? Looking at the sound is sounding good.
The video is not clear.
How tough of a man that z Good move.
May. I was just starting a little late.
We need to be late on your show, Andy.
You know, just I was just finished cooking.
I was made some lobster fried rice.
You know what's in garlic sauce and a little soy sauce on doing that, you know? No, son. Son.
So we, uh we're talking about the kids later. Pick.
Yeah, we talked about tonight.
We talked about, uh, Devon vassal.
And as a bookie, I'm not gonna let you said, I don't really know too much about the guys again.
This is the downside of not having not having the, ah, the tournament.
We know March, manage something again.
I said it before the different video.
It's good for the Knicks this year because a lot of talent is gonna move down there because of uncer*****y.
But also, it's kind of be still be hard because of the fact that we don't know what these players are because these players have only played pretty much, what, 30 games, 30 something gained 40 games in college basketball, And that's just you.
Just 40 games removed from high school.
So a lot of these kids are fresh man allowed, so it's gonna be tough.
I'm a big Isaiah Stewart guy, but I don't know.
He's projected to be like mid teens, uh, early 20 so I don't know if the Knicks could get him, but I think is one of these kids a power forward? Uh, OK.
Odds at bookies. The center, not power qualities.
This center Well, you know what's great, man? Send the things we need.
A center to man.
We need another center never we could get like another Mitchell Robinson type of guy may be a stretch five.
You know, maybe when I can shoot a little bit better cause you know, like you said before, I was watching a video man, Mitch, man, he does the inner behind the league's hot sauce, you know, hits the guy in the head there in practice.
But, I mean, we all remember that watching.
I forgot what I think was the Washington game.
We blow in the moat and then you hear the garden scream, take the shot, take the side, and he doesn't do it.
So we got to see what that really before it starts.
Five like, you know, Justin, back up. Mitchell Robinson.
Um, that's what I'm the later rounds.
I'm really having a preference for a stretch for a start.
Four starts, five.
That's my preference in the later rounds, and you know that's what I really want For us in the 27th round is the least get a stretch for heart starts.
Five that we shoot the bid range a little bit, get a decent baking shot or like that, he didn't have to shoot threes, but at least be, like, respectable around the mid range and ambush out, you know? Yeah, Yeah, no doubt.
Big shout out to big freezing man and said Shout out to my man, Sim, this is the best Knicks show going.
I appreciate the sentiments my brother appreciated.
Hopefully, we see you on the front stoop in just a couple of minutes is gonna be a fire show.
Underground radio, ladies and gentlemen, so make sure you're there to check out some of this good independent music.
I got some good music.
Independent artists mean so make sure.
Let's check it out.
All right, Um, look, I'm about to get up out of hair.
I'm a let you guys get a chance to get your last words and give me 30 seconds for last words, man, that I'm ago set up for the front stoop.
I say give me 30 seconds, man.
Lana. And he's the go.
You know, we love we love way.
Yeah, maybe like that.
We love Andy, man as a white soccer.
Uh, yeah, but no.
So I came home a little late, but your great show can you know it's a great show of if you can delete, because Andy's in it.
It was a great So I don't have the acts that Andy's American Experiment eighties The Polar Express.
He's always on time.
I no doubt let me get to my Mac.
A five K five would give us some last words, man.
Okay, five. You there.
He's still learning how you know the at you there, man.
You will give me some last words here.
Really? At the he's he still learn how to use the app.
It's all good, man.
Who's Martin? Give me some last words.
Whose mark? It might give you some last words, bro.
Give you some last words, man.
Listen, um did you hear a man to question? Because there's something that's going around Number House? I came on the shopping list that I want the Phoenix Suns to fail so much that Devin Booker were excellent trading Come out? Yeah.
So this possibly this possible That chance that Oh, no, no, no.
Did you hear about the salary cat? We might lose $30 million.
I didn't I didn't hear all of that book.
Well, that came out today.
due to that cooked, You know, the virus state the salary cap is going to they're going to lose $30 million in the salary cat.
And I was just thinking, Now this is the perfect time to fleece O K. C.
So fleet O'Casey for Chris Paul.
And they have to give us a pic.
Because if the if the salary cut, if they lose $30 million do you or do you imagine that tax that Oklahoma City has to pay on that? Yeah, well, I mean, the only thing I'm gonna say is given the situation, I feel like the n b a.
Is going to put some things in place and big shot out.
Oh, h 10 from SportsCastr for the tip.
I think the n b A.
Is going to do some things to help ease some of the financial burdens coming off of this whole Corona virus thing.
For example, there might be there could be, you know, one of the things that they could put in place temporarily just for this season is the ability for someone Teoh, you know, wave one of those big contracts Amnesty a contract that help teams out during this time.
They could do that.
And, you know, I was reading that.
That could be one of the solutions.
You know, something that the players union and an MBA talk about.
You know, when they look at all of the finances.
When it's all said done amnesty, given each team won amnesty, could be one of the solutions to help.
And if that's the case, there could be some players that shake loose, almost said.
I'm a comeback on that because now, because off the contract that somebody's place has got going, I don't think they don't want that to happen.
Because again, if Chris call one, that's Chris.
Port wants money.
He wants all well here.
But he'll get all of his money.
They still get the money.
You just get it, just be broken up.
So the player will get amnestied.
He'll get his money, he'll be able to sign with another team.
That team still gets their salary cap freedom, because, of course, we'll get em.
Do you realize the options? Yes, I know, I know, but I'm just saying it could happen.
If he gets amnesty, there's gonna be a 1,000,000 options out there for when I'm praying the guy That don't happen because Jesus Christ.
But But if he does get amnesty, just just remembered at him and Leo Rose a real cool Alia Rose maybe could convince him.
Let's see, because Amnesty is probably gonna go to the Lakers, but is thought to go to the Lakers, you know, saying, come to the next part, go to Lakers.
But, you know, I feel it, but I got to get out of here.
Got to get out and let me get around.
Get some last words from these other guys.
Appreciate you, man.
Be here, Andrew.
I'm coming to you, bro.
Give me some, lads. Words real quick, man.
Oh, thanks for having me on that so much.
I appreciate it may be coming up to the front stoop.
What? Oh, what I would tell him on front.
We listening? Underground music, man.
We listening to independent underground music? Yes, I try to check it out.
Hey, let me see your first.
I bet it looks like Justin jumped out, so I go ahead and I don't come to Andy the Andy finish it off.
Then we got you on muted.
Yeah. Happy to be back by Anna.
Nobody going onto the front stoop.
But I realized that we got not many more, you know, things to chop it up about the necks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I'm gonna probably job jumping in front stoop or stay a little bit longer here with Mark.
Maybe I said is going to give me some recipes. Finally.
Oh, you've been recorded.
So you can **** it in some something.
Well, hopefully guys come over to the foot stool because I need some people to help me Teoh review some of these music and give their opinions on some of his music.
Maybe got some people from? No, we got from individual box, you know, we get them all way.
Got someone from Zimbabwe.
We got somebody from the UK We got some good stuff going on international today.
It should be pretty good.
It should be pretty good.
I'm jumping over there right now, man.
So I appreciate you, man.
That would be something. A jet.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here tonight.
Please join me on the front stoop.
I'm heading over to the front stoop right now.
You know, I'm going to be a little bit later.
I probably won't get on until about 12 cause I got to get everything set up and all that good stuff.
All right, But I hope to see over there, uh, underground radio.
Listen, independent music, um, you know, and you know, there it is, man.
Um, join me on the front stoop.
I look forward to seeing you guys sometime this weekend when you know we do a classic Knicks show.
Maybe sometime on Sunday, then, of course, we will be back to our right.
You know, not regular schedule, but we'll be back to ah schedule next week.
You'll get the schedules Monday night or something like that.
As far as what's going to go on next week.
Uh, next week, the time starts going to switch for me a little bit.
I'm gonna be doing the front stoop at 9 p.
And that's gonna be a standing time I'm gonna do at 9 p.m.
And then at 10 30 I'll be doing knicks you know anything I had to do with the Knicks? I'll be doing it at 10.
You know that we could go a little bit longer if we really got some things to talk about.
You know, the front stoop.
You know, You know, we kind of keep that.
You try to hit that to the point so we don't go three hours on there, but Ah, look, I appreciate you guys be safe, be peaceful, and, um be easy, man.
Thank you guys to be here at it Piece.
