00:00:41
No, I don't finish anything.
00:00:42
I upload the show to YouTube after, so that's what the replay could be found.
00:00:48

00:00:58
Thank you to everybody who came out tonight and is here to chill out for the railroad show.
00:01:05
Really, really appreciate it Got a whole bunch of stuff.
00:01:07
Want to talk about him? Of course.
00:01:09
Also looking at the four featured article stories that will be covering in the show.
00:01:14
The big ones are that I'm covering is Cam.
00:01:16
Newton apparently is a good fit for the Seattle Seahawks.
00:01:19
I'll look at that article and try to figure out if that's true or not.
00:01:25
It is also somebody claiming that the New England Patriots undrafted free agent receiver Isaiah Zuber is an absolute steal, not having use a draft pick on him.
00:01:38
There's all the Cardinals air claiming that second year quarterback in former first overall Kyler Murray has a next level of confidence going into this season.
00:01:53
And the final article I will be looking at is going to be.
00:01:57
It could be controversial.
00:01:58
It's a bit of a different one, but a different opinion.
00:02:03
That comes from, of course, the Boston media.
00:02:06
But was Tom Brady the issue in New England? That's what will be covered in I plus a little bit more guys.
00:02:17
We're always going to cover a little bit more here on DP and sports talk.
00:02:21
Let's get into this show and the first thing I want to look at comes from my boy, the Brit chief.
00:02:29
And as much as we are friends, he's also my arch nemesis and he is the tweet of the day because he tweeted out the power rankings today.
00:02:43
And he said, I'm sure my guy Ray is gonna have something to say about this on his show tonight on SportsCastr and you **** right bread Chief.
00:02:51
You're **** right, Brown.
00:02:52
I got something to say about it because his follow up tweet to that was how quickly the Patriots fall to being irrelevant.
00:03:04
And for those of you who don't know, I am in New England Patriots fan.
00:03:09
So he was rubbing it in because the New England Patriots in the power rankings where they have held those top three spots for what, the last 20 years they are ranked number six peen.
00:03:24
Now let me start with this, and this isn't just a Patriot thing.
00:03:28
I do not like power rankings before this season starts.
00:03:33
I'm not into that.
00:03:34
I'm not really into power rankings until mid October, sort of beginning November, because that's when I think we completely separate the pretenders from the contenders.
00:03:45
We've seen teams like the Buffalo Bills start foreign.
00:03:48
Oh, and then they fall off and do nothing after that.
00:03:57
And it's look, it's hard to argue with some of the teams and where the rate, obviously the Chiefs of number one on the power rankings.
00:04:04
That's a fair assessment.
00:04:06
Defending Super Bowl champions.
00:04:08
The team is basically exactly the same as it was last year.
00:04:13
They haven't paid the Patrick Mahomes any ridiculous amounts of money.
00:04:16
That 35 $40 million contract are, according to Cris Collinsworth.
00:04:20
$50 million contract.
00:04:23
Now they have.
00:04:24
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers is number two, and I'm gonna tell you why.
00:04:28
I don't believe they should be at number two may become November.
00:04:31
They should be at number two, but May 8th.
00:04:33
I don't believe they should be number two in the power.
00:04:34
Reagan's Tom Brady should be with his team right now because the only familiarity he has in Tampa Bay is Rob Gronkowski.
00:04:48
We all know about Tom Brady's little circle of trust in this and that, Well, that he's the build that trust.
00:04:55
And this Cove in 19 crisis has not allowed Mr Brady to be able to work with his team, probably the way he wanted to.
00:05:12
And because of that, I think that I've said this before.
00:05:17
I think that Tampa Bay season is gonna start very similar to a traditional New England Patriots season.
00:05:23
I think that September and the first little bit of October could be a problem for Tampa Bay.
00:05:27
I'm not saying they're gonna be like going five or anything ridiculous like that, but they could be 500 after September.
00:05:35
I think teams only play three games in September.
00:05:37
So after the first week of October, I think it's gonna take Tampa Bay 45 games to really figure out that offense.
00:05:45
Then I feel comfortable putting them in that, you know, top three position.
00:05:51
But then they got the San Francisco 40 Niners and number three of the Saints number four, and they got the Ravens of number five.
00:05:57
I actually bumped the Ravens up to number three over the 40 Niners over the Saints.
00:06:03
One thing we've learned about Lamar Jackson so far early into his young career is that he is a regular season quarterback.
00:06:11
This isn't the playoff ranking, just the power rankings, as it may the eighth.
00:06:14
And I just think that I think put in the 40 Niners and the Saints a little bit disrespectful to four to Baltimore.
00:06:23
They're the Buffalo Bills at number six and I'm sure Stephan Digs has a lot to do with that.
00:06:29
But you know, this Buffalo Bills team is not your brother's Buffalo Bills team.
00:06:34
It's not the Buffalo Bills of the last 20 years.
00:06:38
You're talking about a Bills team that has one of the top five defense is in the NFL now.
00:06:45
They are Cole Beasley and staffing digs.
00:06:49
They got Brown.
00:06:50
They got a pretty solid, tight and core.
00:06:54
The only really question they have is Josh Allen and what his progression is This year I've said it.
00:06:58
I've had Mariel from hashtag sports on the show or the old version of the show, and he said, Man, this has to be a year that Josh Allen steps up and gets things done, so it will be interesting to see where they go from there.
00:07:14
Then they got Seattle.
00:07:15
It's seven, which okay, again, I would probably bump Seattle up a little bit.
00:07:23
Then they have the Indianapolis Colts number eight.
00:07:25
I think the Colts are a team that people are sort of underestimating this year, not obviously the power rankings, but from a fan's perspective, I think because they weren't that, you know, they didn't look great last year.
00:07:38
They look good, but not great.
00:07:39
And no Andrew Luck again.
00:07:42
Everything's gonna fall on the shoulders of Philip Rivers, but Philip Purvis doesn't need to win it for them. He's the game.
00:07:47
Manage.
00:07:48
What? That's one thing I got to say.
00:07:49
Jacoby percent didn't do well last year.
00:07:50
Was game manage enough? You can't completely rely on the run.
00:07:54
Every once in a while, you need your quarterback to make a pass.
00:07:57
That's where Ryan Tannehill works.
00:07:58
Perfect in Tennessee.
00:08:01
Derrick Henry rise the ball.
00:08:02
And when Tannehill has to make a pass, he completes it and then get one of the highest completion percentage is in the NFL.
00:08:07
And you might say, Well, she hardly throws the ball.
00:08:08
Yeah, fair.
00:08:10
That's an absolute fair comment.
00:08:12
When you're hardly throwing the ball, it's easy to have a high completion percentage, but it's also when you hardly throw the ball.
00:08:18
It's also used to have a low completion percentage.
00:08:24
Following that, we got the Pittsburgh Steelers number nine, which look, I think Pittsburgh's will be a much more improved team with rods Burger back.
00:08:30
They got the Broncos at number 10.
00:08:32
I'm fine with the Broncos there.
00:08:33
I still think the Broncos will be the most improved team in the NFL this season.
00:08:38
I like what they did, I believe in, Ah, lock Andrew Lock.
00:08:42
I think that it's a good team.
00:08:43
The Eagles at 11.
00:08:44
Cowboys at 12.
00:08:45
That's just got irritate Dallas fans so much.
00:08:48
Packers it down at 13 the Browns right under them, the Arizona Cardinals are above the New England Patriots. Number 15.
00:08:55
I'm a big Kyla Murray fan, and I'm actually talking about Kyla Murray later on the show tonight, and I'll give more into that.
00:09:01
But oh, I don't know about that.
00:09:03
The Vikings at 17 Titans at 18.
00:09:05
I put the Titans above.
00:09:06
The Vikings get the Giants in 19.
00:09:08
The Falcons of 20 Raiders at 21 the Texans had 22 Bangles at 23.
00:09:15
The L A Rams A 24.
00:09:16
The Jets all the way down to 25.
00:09:19
Chicago, 26 charges a 27.
00:09:21
They Detroit Lions A 28 the Panthers A 29.
00:09:26
You know, the Dolphins have got another interesting team because I got no problem with them sitting at 30 right now, but that could be a team come October.
00:09:32
That's sort of sitting at 15 14 13 in the league.
00:09:35
Or they could drop down a 32 Washington 31 which I think will be a more improved team.
00:09:40
The Jaguars sitting in a 32.
00:09:42
Um, I think the JAG wires aren't gonna be good this year, but I don't think they're gonna be as bad as people believe they are.
00:09:47
I think they get a a little bit of disrespect every now and then.
00:09:54
But, you know, that's just me.
00:09:57
It's just me, all right.
00:10:00
So let's look at our first story of the night.
00:10:03
This obviously comes from This comes from De Zhou Sankoh over on Carter points.
00:10:10
It's talking about how an ****yst explains why Cam Newton is an ideal fit for the Seattle Seahawks.
00:10:15
That's a team that I, at least I haven't heard Cam Newton connected to yet, and we think about like, who needs Cam Newton? Why not the Seattle Seahawks now, he explains, it has Newton being one of the hottest commodities and free agency.
00:10:34
Right now, I don't think he's the hottest commodity.
00:10:37
If he was a hot commodity, I think more and more teams would be pursuing Cam Newton, but it's definitely probably number one on the list of free agents available, as we all know he was released by the Carolina Panthers is a former M V P.
00:10:50
Back in 2015 brought Carolina all the way to the Super Bowl.
00:10:56
You had a couple of injuries seasons and that kind of film out of his prime.
00:11:01
He was a 2011 rookie of the Year.
00:11:04
I believe that he still has a ton left in the tank and teams that are looking for solid quarterbacks.
00:11:11
They should really keep an eye out on Cam Newton, especially now that Newton said that he's willing to be a backup.
00:11:20
And that could be where the Seattle Seahawks come into place now.
00:11:24
Field. Yates said.
00:11:27
If Cam is willing to go the Dalton Winston routes, Seattle is a fit that intrigues me.
00:11:33
Yes, Russell Wilson has never missed a game, but with on Lee UDF, a Anthony Gordon on the roster behind him can could provide invaluable insurance if ever needed.
00:11:46
He's still a baller, and I agree.
00:11:48
Cam Noon is still a baller and I think can do.
00:11:51
You can still get a lot of things done, And I think when it comes to Cam Newton, it's all about injury.
00:11:55
It's all about if he can stay healthy.
00:11:57
Cam Newton can be one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
00:12:00
The health is the problem.
00:12:03
In April 2019 the Seahawks re signed Russell Wilson to $140 million contract.
00:12:08
That's going to carry out until 2023.
00:12:12
As of right now, that makes Russell Wilson the highest paid player in the league that will probably beat next year when the Chiefs make a deal with Patrick Mahomes.
00:12:21
Now, one thing that Russell Wilson the signings proved that he can lead the team he's playing for.
00:12:26
I think this is going into his eighth season with Seattle.
00:12:29
He's never missed a game.
00:12:30
He brought them the back to back Super Bowls, winning one, losing one of the Patriots.
00:12:36
And I think that when you look at it Seattle Seahawks else a piece of the roster.
00:12:40
They signed undrafted free agent Anthony Gordon after the 2020 draft.
00:12:43
A 23 year old had been a had a solid season with Washington State University throwing for 48 touchdowns.
00:12:52
So I don't know it's.
00:12:55
He was only second to Joe Borough on touchdown throws, but he was playing for Washington State.
00:13:03
But I'm looking at it, really thinking it could make a lot of sense to bring it.
00:13:07
Cam Newton as an insurance policy, Even though Wilson's never missed a game and you know for me, I'd always, always, always play he Russell Wilson over Cam Newton.
00:13:20
I'm not looking to replace Russell Wilson, but I think what I'm looking at is is one of the best players in the game who could be a very, very solid option for the Seattle Seahawks backing up Cam Newton.
00:13:40
So interesting story again.
00:13:43
The Seahawks have not been a team that I've seen, uh, Newton linked to, so the fact that they're being brought up, I don't know if this is just field Yates talking, and I don't know if there's smoke to this fire, but it is an interesting theory to look at now.
00:13:59
I don't know if you guys have seen this, and I don't know if Mike Tyson's just having fun with people for Mike Tyson could be coming out of retirement at like 53 year years old or 55 years old, however he is, and he released a video of him training, saying, He's back and I mean, Mike Tyson still looks like an absolute killer, and there's people who want to fight him.
00:14:25
You know, nobody was really lining up to fight Mike Tyson in his prime.
00:14:31
I wouldn't fight Mike Tyson.
00:14:33
Now there is not.
00:14:34
I'm sorry.
00:14:35
There's not an amount of money that you could offer me.
00:14:40
I don't know.
00:14:41
That makes me sound pathetic.
00:14:42
I don't know if that makes me sound like a chump.
00:14:44
Whatever it is, there is not an amount of money that you could pay me that could convince me to get into the ring and fight Mike Tyson because the amount of brain damage I will suffer the amount of pain and broken bones.
00:14:58
And I will have after like a 32nd about because the only way that I'm not getting hurt fighting Mike Tyson is the for neighboring the bell.
00:15:07
I run and jump under the ropes and run away.
00:15:12
I would start the fight with the towel in my hand and as soon as they rang it, I would throw the towel because that's how scared I would be of Mike Friggin Taison.
00:15:22
But the even crazier news is I was reading a story today.
00:15:26
A Vander Holyfield has announced that he's coming out of retirement and he said he would love to fight Mike Tyson.
00:15:40
Oh, look, as a purist M boxing fan, I would, I don't know.
00:15:49
I would just be in nostalgia, heaven being ableto watch Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield go at it again.
00:15:59
At the same time, everybody wanted the Floyd Mayweather pack yo fight, and I spent the $100 whatever it costs to rent that pay per view.
00:16:09
And there's one of the most disappointing fights I ever watched in my entire life.
00:16:14
I'm just afraid I'd spent a whole ton of money toe watch.
00:16:17
Two old men get into a ring and his heart is Mike Tyson can punch as agile as he might look, and they say he's faster or he's just a fast and justice, strong as he was in his prime.
00:16:32
This is the best she's looked since his early twenties in his prime, which might got your 55 years old or whatever.
00:16:38
How the hell could you do that? But how much gas does he have like, Well, these guys just be exhausted going into the second or third round.
00:16:49
That would be my fear.
00:16:51
We need a first round knockout by Mike Tyson to make that fight worth it.
00:16:55
But then you'd be disappointed that you spent all that money.
00:17:00
I don't know if anybody was watching live. Let me know.
00:17:02
Let me know.
00:17:03
Would you want to see Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield? Three like 2 50 something year old men. Let's look it up.
00:17:10
I gotta look up how old these guys are.
00:17:13
This could be my cry crack researcher.
00:17:15
How old is Mike Tyson? Mike Tyson is 53.
00:17:22
How old is Evander Holyfield? Evander Holyfield, 57 years old.
00:17:33
Ah, man and Joe saying You know how many are three round fight could be worth it.
00:17:38
And you know what I mean? Maybe a three round.
00:17:41
But a 57 year old man of 50 and a 53 year old man.
00:17:44
I think Tyson hasn't boxes.
00:17:46
2005 was when he retired when Lennox Lewis just absolutely owned him.
00:17:55
I don't know, it's it's kind of a cool fund story, but that's like Old George form and trying to do things.
00:18:02
I don't know if I could watch Mike Tyson.
00:18:04
If Bobby says you like to see Tyson fight Floyd, Floyd, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson.
00:18:11
Unfortunately, I think just Tyson.
00:18:13
If if he does have the punch he had when he was younger, I think he would just snap Floyd around.
00:18:17
And I believe that Floyd Mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer.
00:18:20
Never fight better than Canelo.
00:18:22
The people are like, Oh, man, you know he's can also has one loss that losses to Floyd Mayweather, you know? And you could say, Well, he was young.
00:18:29
Well, Floyd Mayweather fought when I was young to anyone is fights.
00:18:33
Floyd Mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer averaging.
00:18:36
I understand Mohammed Ali and understand Tyson understand this.
00:18:39
Floyd Mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer ever.
00:18:45
So I always thought it was nuts.
00:18:47
When when Dana was trying to say that Floyd Mayweather was Rhonda Rousey, Floyd would have just destroyed her.
00:18:55
And considering that Rhonda Rousey showed against Holly Homes that she has no standing game, you know she can Onley fight on the ground and put people in the arm bars That's why she's doing the pretend wrestling thing now.
00:19:11
We went from being the most dangerous woman in the world.
00:19:13
But for Miller is the best pound for pound bison.
00:19:16
Tyson Tyson Just too big and too strong for Floyd Mayweather.
00:19:20
I don't think Floyd would be able to box the punches.
00:19:23
That air coming in would be heavyweight punches.
00:19:27
But I don't think Tyson could come on like and fight fury or or a J right now.
00:19:36
And I don't know, especially after watching the, um, the Anthony Joshua Ruiz rematch.
00:19:43
And Joshua has actually learned how to blocks like he wasn't just stepping in and punching and punching and plunging.
00:19:51
I think he would destroy Taison.
00:19:53
But you know what? But, uh, Chris has put up there, man Wladimir Klitschko.
00:19:59
That could be a good fight.
00:20:01
An aging Klitschko vs.
00:20:02
Ah, versus Mike Tyson.
00:20:06
That's a fight.
00:20:07
Maybe I could get into Klitschko.
00:20:09
It was the king of going 12 rounds, but he's been out of it.
00:20:12
I think his last fight was when he lost the Josh.
00:20:14
Why a few years ago, let me Good.
00:20:21
That would be that Be really good man.
00:20:25
Anyways, for those of you are boxing fans.
00:20:27
I apologize, but I just had to talk about it.
00:20:30
I saw this old Mike Tyson thing and I was like, That's insane.
00:20:32
I have to talk about Mike Tyson.
00:20:35
Alright, The next story gonna look at here is for my Patriots contingents, and I know a lot of you guys are Patriots contingents.
00:20:42
Those of you who are Patriot fans. Don't worry.
00:20:44
I got other things to talk about.
00:20:45
But Justin Trombone o from fans side wrote an article today called New England Patriots undrafted rookie wide out Isaiah Zuber is a steal, and I'll fully meant you, man.
00:20:55
I don't know a whole lot about the kid, actually.
00:20:58
After I glanced at the article day, I went on YouTube watched a little bit of his film breakdown, and I can see why.
00:21:06
But after the former standout receiver from Kansas State went undrafted, Isaiah Zuber has the opportunity of a lifetime to make the New England Patriots roster.
00:21:15
And before I go further, man, I think that Patriot fans and again I'm gonna admitted Page fan, I like the pages so you can see the stuff in the back.
00:21:23
I think that every year we sit around and we wait to see what undrafted free agent is going to make the Patriots roster because Bill battle check just knows how to pick these guys out of a crowd.
00:21:32
And just, you know, I always say they vultures go to Walmart and find the next offensive tackle.
00:21:36
You know, every year we wait for it, but undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver I say it.
00:21:42
Zuber could very well be the biggest steel for for the New England Patriots.
00:21:46
I'll try to read in English next time, guys.
00:21:48
Isaiah's Huber is six foot, £190.
00:21:52
He spent his 1st 3 years playing in every game for Kansas State before playing his final collegiate season at Mississippi State.
00:22:00
Zuber left Kansas State ranked eighth in school history with the most career receptions, 127 tied for 10th place with the most career touchdowns 11 and his 1321 career receiving yards ranks in 22nd all time in school history.
00:22:18
You didn't play too much last season, I'm Mississippi State, but Zuber did see time in all 13 games with three starts for the Bulldogs and caught 14 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.
00:22:29
Obviously a step back from his time.
00:22:34
Kansas State.
00:22:36
We all remember.
00:22:37
Ah, Kansas State.
00:22:38
Ah, quarterback who turned out pretty OK as a, uh, as a guy now Joe DP, End Zone Joe and I'm happy is on the show cause he drops me some nuggets Information said that he just read that sports hotline sports talk line dot com Had Zuber projected as 1/3 rounder.
00:23:02
Oh, yeah, I went to Cannes States.
00:23:03
Why did I think hands Estate Jeez, is Ray Julian Edelman went to Cat State dummy.
00:23:11
Well, Exubera went on to finish collegiate collegiate career with 141 total receptions, producing 1532 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
00:23:20
Guys, I don't pretend to be smart.
00:23:22
A I still I say it all the time.
00:23:23
I don't understand how I have an audience.
00:23:26
Yes, I don't pretend to be to be, to be swift at all.
00:23:31
It's fair to say that Zuber, who is primarily a slot receiver in college, joins New England Patriots with plenty of prior experience already under his belt that could prove beneficial for both him and the team in the near future.
00:23:45
Zuber would be a great addition to a retooling Patriots receiving group, as well as being the complementary pieces to Jared Stadium and McKeel Harry.
00:23:54
The Patriots need to re establish and reinvent their receiving corpse of for the betterment of the future, following the brew blueprint that could have created over the last 20 years.
00:24:03
New England can operate their offense with three capable wide receivers and tight end.
00:24:09
I truly believe that the future receiving unit of Harry, six foot 4 £225 of Jacoby Meyers of six foot 2 £200 split out wide will work well with Zuber and gonna Roche s key Gunners six foot £190 floating around the slot position next to them.
00:24:27
It would be an amazing thing that happens.
00:24:30
Seen as all three our undrafted players obviously minus nikkila hair, the Patriots took in the first with their first round pick of the 2018 draft.
00:24:41
Now Zuber also established himself as being an elite level returner, which is something else the Patriots are intrigued by.
00:24:47
And obviously, look, if you want to play for the New England Patriots.
00:24:49
You gotta contribute to special teams if you're gonna be an undrafted free agent.
00:24:53
Ah, you know that, Z And really, honestly, if Zuber can return, that could maybe not gonna Rochette ski off the team And last the Patriot Air really just going for it with this whole future.
00:25:06
Peace 2018.
00:25:08
Zuber was ranked the top of the Big 12 with the six most Pond returns 10 the second most punt return yards 178 in the second Most pumper Town touchdowns, one, which also ranks sixth in the entire NC Double A.
00:25:24
He finished his college career with 11 punt returns from 180 yards, averaging 16.
00:25:29
4 yards per return, and scored one touchdown in that same year.
00:25:35
Zuber also ranked at the top of the Big 12 Ah, with the sixth most kickoff returns of 19 the seven most kickoff return yards at 309 and the seventh most ah yards per return at 16.
00:25:49
3 the following year.
00:25:52
In 2019 Super 12 kickoff returns, which was good for the fifth, most in the SEC, he finished his college career with 33 kickoff returns for 513 yards, an average 15.
00:26:02
5 yards per returned.
00:26:05
Not bad for a special teams kid, although the New England Patriots have brought in seven additional undrafted slot receivers this offseason.
00:26:14
Isaiah Zuber has a great deal of experience, especially when you add in his versatility as a returner, there's a strong chance that he will be the best of the bunch.
00:26:25
Alright, guys, it's now time for Patriots fans everywhere to get super excited and overvalue Isaiah Zuber very much like how a lot of Patriot fans and some Patriots commentators were all over Maurice Harris last year.
00:26:42
He was gonna be the reincarnation of Randy Moss.
00:26:45
He's absolutely going to make the team.
00:26:47
We all saw how that worked out.
00:26:51
Um, you know, we did have one idiot commentator, two talking about Don Charlyne men and how he was gonna make the team put it, put it, put a guaranteed stamp on it, you know, won't talk about that guy, though.
00:27:04
We did, man, we get Look, we get excited every year, man, because because the patriots are gonna turn water into wine and turn garbage into 12 course meals and all that kind of stuff.
00:27:16
But, you know, I don't know, man.
00:27:18
I got to see how Zuber does specially the preseason.
00:27:21
Like I said, I don't know a whole bunch about about the guy.
00:27:23
It was just a really intriguing article, Um, from a patriot centric website and a patriot, you know, Onley writer who could be blowing everything out of proportion.
00:27:35
So we just got to see how that kind of rolls around.
00:27:38
But I like to talk about these kind of guys.
00:27:40
I like to Ah, I like to get people in the in the state of over valuing players and getting super pumped up about people who are probably not going to make the team.
00:27:54
I've fortunately been able to start looking past that kind of stuff the last little while I think I'm growing as a fan.
00:28:02
I'm growing as a commentator where I don't get, you know, beat up by the I don't get sucked into the hype sort of the same way.
00:28:09
I'm kind of just chilling out, and, you know, whatever happens, happens and whatever the pages do, the pages do, and we just got a look at it that way.
00:28:18
This is a non sports related story by It was like, It's kind of like a what would you do? Type of story when I read this, that I kind of had it.
00:28:27
I just wanted to briefly talk about I'm not gonna spend too much time on it.
00:28:30
I know you guys are here, man.
00:28:31
You want to talk about sports? Are football? Let's talk face it.
00:28:36
Ah, but man, this kid, Jose Nunez Rom****, 19 years old sounds like he's going to be a top prospect in the NFL or something like that.
00:28:46
But Mr Nunez kid goes to the bank, the cash, his check.
00:28:50
He finds a bag full of $135,000 $135,000 in the kid.
00:29:02
Ah, some Sorry, guys.
00:29:05
I gotta respond to something because Joe is saying, Yeah, Ray, hype this on Duke DOS and Eric Rowe, Cyrus Jones, Derek Rivers and Waste Junior.
00:29:12
I never once hyped anybody on Cyrus Jones.
00:29:17
Ever.
00:29:19
I disliked Eric Rowe more than anything.
00:29:23
I hyped Duke Dawson.
00:29:25
I heIp twice, Jr and I said a 1,000,000 times before the kid played a second.
00:29:33
I don't know why everybody is so high on Derrick Rivers.
00:29:35
I got He was our first pick.
00:29:36
But it's like 1/3 round pick.
00:29:39
Don't be spreading rumors, Joe.
00:29:41
Don't be spreading rumors anyways.
00:29:45
This kid finds 135 grand.
00:29:47
What does he do? He calls the police, turns it in almost immediately.
00:29:53
And I sat back and I had to ask myself, Ray, if you were at the bank and you found 100 35 grand because you guys may not know this, but I don't make a whole lot of money.
00:30:02
You might think I'm a millionaire because I have SportsCastr Channel in a YouTube channel.
00:30:07
But, uh, I'm not.
00:30:10
And in the jerseys that I buy, um, you know, the They are just ah, can't afford them.
00:30:23
You know, that's my retirement plan.
00:30:28
Oh, Ray, guys want to see you wear a visor on a show? Just saying adviser, I don't even own adviser.
00:30:37
What the hell do you guys want to see me? Where? Adviser.
00:30:41
So this this is where if you're watching this on YouTube, this is the cutting edge conversation that happens here on SportsCastr that I don't always address when I'm on the show.
00:30:50
But this is the crap that I got to read all nights.
00:30:54
And it's our Australian boy Australian boy.
00:30:58
Ah Reina, wait here to just get it all riled up anyways.
00:31:03
And now these.
00:31:04
Now the boys are telling me that my wife makes more than Giselle.
00:31:06
I can guaran **** tee you.
00:31:08
My wife doesn't My wave If Giselle was a ah farmer in Idaho, maybe.
00:31:15
And the farmers probably make more than I do.
00:31:17
So I should even talk about about it.
00:31:19
But ah, and I don't know why now everybody thinks I'm rich because I'm watching this conversation like I have all this money.
00:31:27
I almost want to show you guys my bank account because you guys might You guys might start a go fund me page If you guys knew how much money I had trying to raise my family a man all right, I wasted enough for your time.
00:31:41
Let's look at this next article and it's from Skylar. Carl.
00:31:46
Clutch points.
00:31:47
It's called Cliff Kingsbury is seen next level confidence from Kyla Murray.
00:31:51
I didn't read this article, so I'm reading this one called, um So there's been absolutely no research done to this whatsoever.
00:31:58
But I think that people who have been watching my stuff for the last year, you guys know that I have absolutely fault as a football player, absolutely fallen in love with Colin Murray.
00:32:09
He's just I didn't wanna admit through most of his rookie season.
00:32:14
I wasn't paying attention to the Arizona Cardinals at all like one day like it was just the most intriguing game toe watch.
00:32:19
I can remember who they were playing, but I was like, I guess I watch his Arizona game.
00:32:23
And from that day forward, I watched every I watched every Cardinals game on and was like the last four or five games of the year because I just loved watching Kyla Murray play football.
00:32:34
And not only can he swing the ball, he can run and he runs uniquely he I I now understand why Arizona was like, get ready Josh Rosen and go forward Kyla Murray, because this kid is this kid's for real, man.
00:32:50
And I do put him up.
00:32:51
And I was.
00:32:52
I was on the show with the boys, the SportsCastr, my colleague, SportsCastr news Joe, New Beau and Lawrence.
00:32:59
Uh oh.
00:33:00
In and yesterday we're talking about this.
00:33:01
I said, Man, I put Kyla Murray right up in the categories with Lamar Jackson's and that kind of thing, like that category.
00:33:08
And now that he has DeAndre Hopkins, now that the address on the offensive line a little bit, people are gonna take notice of the Arizona Cardinals this year, they're gonna be one of the top teams in the NFL.
00:33:18
I'm telling you right now, and I think that you guys, I'm telling you, you guys are If you're a football fan and you wanna watch just a kid with raw natural talent, you got to go watch Kyla Murray.
00:33:31
But let's look at this article to the Arizona Cardinals.
00:33:33
Gun slinger Kyla Murray hasn't been able to do much work on the football field this offseason, but that hasn't prevented him from making improvements in his game.
00:33:43
Ahead of his second year in the NFL, Cliff Kingsbury noticed an upward shift in confidence for Murray, saying Quote.
00:33:50
There's definitely a different level of confidence at a different level of command of the offense, and he feels it, Kingsbury said to Arizona sports dot com.
00:34:00
Even though we haven't been able to get on the grass.
00:34:02
He definitely feels a lot more comfortable.
00:34:04
Heading into Year two as the number one pick in the 2019 NFL draft, Murray put together an impressive rookie campaign last season, while the Cardinals went 5 10 and one.
00:34:15
Murray threw for 3722 yards to 20 touchdowns in 12 interception, 12 interceptions in route to winning the NFL offensive Rookie of the Year.
00:34:28
Look in the his rookie year.
00:34:30
Throat is your work here.
00:34:31
It was evident that Murray was beginning to become more comfortable and Kingsbury's offenses the season progressed.
00:34:39
And even though Kingsbury hasn't been able to work with Murray much this offseason, he sees a MAWR confident Murray, without a doubt Marie possesses all of the talent in the world.
00:34:48
When it comes to throwing a football, however, he can take his game to another level if you can improve its understanding of the offense.
00:34:56
Of course, the Cardinals acquired DeAndre Hopkins earlier in this offseason, giving Murray another receiver to get the ball to heading into next season.
00:35:05
Murray isn't gonna have a shortage of weapons at his disposal disposal.
00:35:09
At the same time, he'll be a much improved quarterbacks in terms of his comfortable ity and cling Kingsbury's offense.
00:35:17
I am just struggling tonight, man. I'm gonna be honest.
00:35:20
Guys, I'm coming off back to back streams.
00:35:22
We went on SportsCastr news together.
00:35:25
The three less at, like 8 30 finished pop right onto here.
00:35:31
I'm done skis and I still got more show to go.
00:35:35
It was if you haven't had a real chance to look at to to watch Kyler Murray, you gotta watch Kyla Murray.
00:35:43
The kid is just unbelievably just talented is all Hell all right, man.
00:35:49
So as you guys know, I do.
00:35:50
Ah, SportsCastr exclusive shows here called SportsCastr News.
00:35:54
And today, on the DP on channel, I did a solo show.
00:35:58
Ah, for a solo addition of SportsCastr news on.
00:36:02
I was covering how the Jets are.
00:36:05
They believe that they're going to sign cornerback Logan Ryan.
00:36:08
And look, if you want to watch the whole thing, I actually did 12 minutes on it, which surprised me.
00:36:13
I didn't think I could go 12 minutes talking about Logan Ryan and the Jets, But basically the whole breakdown is if you just, you know, just trying a wonder is the new York Jets need stability at the quarterback position.
00:36:26
They've got like two really reliable quarterbacks.
00:36:28
Bless Austin, who was a rookie last year.
00:36:30
Kind of surprised some people.
00:36:32
Brian Pools are probably their best cornerback, but he's more of a slot guy and really, what keeps that secondary? What keeps that second you gather just their safeties? I mean, when you got Jamal Adams, who's, in my opinion, the best strong safety in the NFL? Um, it just strengthen that secondary.
00:36:49
But there was a lot of other teams and a lot of like, sorta media that were clamoring for their teams to sign Logan Ryan, which surprised me and the two teams that were popping up the most when I so for SportsCastr news.
00:37:07
I do a lot of research before I go on my shows.
00:37:09
It's not like the ray Roger.
00:37:10
I just talked at the top of my head, Uh, because I have to actually report meaningful things.
00:37:16
I I was assumed that people who are watching this show right here like you're just watching me for me.
00:37:20
There's no way you're here to gain information like this.
00:37:23
This has to be entertainment value because I have no idea what I'm offering you outside of like a distraction and entertainment value.
00:37:31
SportsCastr news.
00:37:32
I try to look a little bit more knowledgeable.
00:37:34
Ah, but the two teams that I kept seeing, where the New Orleans Saints and then Corbyn Smith of the Sports Illustrated he thought that the Seahawks would be a really good fit for Logan Ryan.
00:37:46
So that one kind of it's surprising.
00:37:48
The two, you know, it's obviously teams are interested like to the bigger teams were introduced.
00:37:52
The media was saying that they were interested.
00:37:57
So it's really Ah, it's kind of insane.
00:37:59
And I think that outside of Cam Newton, living Logan Ryan now for this sort of second wave of free agency that we always see then that May June time he's at the top of that list and he fits the Jets because of the stability that he's gonna bring.
00:38:11
Um, and then I went on after later on in that show, and I broke down everything.
00:38:15
That's good about Logan Ryan, and anybody who knows me knows I'm not a big Logan Ryan fan.
00:38:19
I never have been a big Logan, Ryan Pham, but you know what? When I did my research today.
00:38:24
I had to say like he's probably the best available quarterback right now.
00:38:28
If you want to watch that whole stream, you can see that over.
00:38:33
Are you Wanna watch that whole show? You can see that on SportsCastr.
00:38:36
If you're on SportsCastr when it's done to school, my profile will be right there.
00:38:39
Um and if you want Teoh, you're on YouTube about the link in the description Joe's asked me What are his prose? Joe, if you want to know, you gotta watch a stream.
00:38:48
Gotta pay attention, man.
00:38:51
I have to. This is called advertising Joe.
00:38:53
I talk about what I talk about in my SportsCastr news so that you guys will go on, Watch it.
00:38:58
It's Ah, because that's how I make my pennies, Man.
00:39:02
That's or my millions, as you guys are are wondering.
00:39:05
I love to met.
00:39:06
Look, I mean, I love the mass of the inner circle.
00:39:08
I love to mess with Jo Jo Jo's ah dpmne a za member DPM him and I wore the same hoody yesterday, which really screwed me up because he posted a picture of it wearing a mask and I couldn't remember when I was wearing a mask that day until I realized it was Joe.
00:39:22
So, Joe, you have no idea how screwed up I was for a little while looking at that picture going a how Joe get a picture of me be.
00:39:32
When did I have a mask on anyways? All right, folks, it's now time to get into our final, probably the most controversial story of the night.
00:39:46
It's on 98.
00:39:47
52 sports of written by Tony Macerata.
00:39:51
He also known as Mass.
00:39:54
And it's a really, really, really, really interesting take, and I think that it's gonna upset a lot of people.
00:40:05
I'm gonna put it out there right now, the Patriots fans who are still backing Brady or not gonna be happy.
00:40:12
The Brady fan boys are gonna be upset.
00:40:15
So, Bobby, maybe put your earplugs it, um, But Mass writes.
00:40:22
In his last season, Just how much was Tom Brady a part of the problem? And look, obviously, a lot of this is going to stem from the whole Josh McDaniels thing, which Tom Brady refute refuted yesterday.
00:40:42
I am normally a where there's smoke, there's fire, but I felt comfortable calling fake news on this.
00:40:49
Let's also not forget the author who wrote that his name is escaping my mind right now.
00:40:53
He's also the guy who his credible sources told him that Bill Ballot Shack was gonna be going to the Giants.
00:41:01
So you gotta take everything this guy says with a grain of salt.
00:41:04
Obviously, let's look at the story and how it's written.
00:41:08
It says.
00:41:09
First it was Bill Bell check.
00:41:11
Then it was the young, inexperienced receiving corps.
00:41:15
Now there is suggestion of a frame relationship between Tom Brady and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels during the final days of the quarterbacks time in New England, something Brady has.
00:41:27
Vemic has denied the truth.
00:41:31
Brady or more specifically, Brady's attitude certainly appears to have been a problem last season, and we might now be positioned toe learn precisely how much.
00:41:46
In the span of roughly eight hours on Tuesday, longtime NFL writer Gary Myers that's the guy's name and Brady himself exchanged barbs on social media Myers on Twitter shortly after noon in Brady on Instagram just after 8 p.m.
00:42:01
Myers reported that Brady's relationship with McDaniels had soured at the end, largely because of Brady's unwillingness to trust his young receiving corps back Brady Land Shop back.
00:42:14
So Gary Myers wrote hard to present a new order of why Tom Brady didn't want to return to the Patriots.
00:42:20
But one thing has been very much overlooked, according to an excellent source, maybe the same source that told Gary that the bill about check was one of the Giants, Um, is his his deteriorating relationship with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels? Tom was worn out by Josh after all those years that surprised me.
00:42:43
It surprised a lot of people, Gary, because that was fake news.
00:42:47
And I'm sorry, guys.
00:42:48
I'm not one to call fake news.
00:42:49
You guys know me.
00:42:50
I am always a where they're smoke.
00:42:54
There's fire, but I don't I don't buy this one, man.
00:42:57
How can Brady be upset by demanding offensive coordinator when he's one of the most demanding quarterbacks in the league? And you know what? Everything that matters is saying so far, though, is true.
00:43:10
Brady didn't feel it was his job to coach the young receivers.
00:43:13
Brady showed frustration with them.
00:43:15
He didn't bring Jacoby Meyers or Nikkila Harry into his circle of trust.
00:43:20
He brought in Mohammed Sunu, who couldn't catch a football.
00:43:23
So there is a little bit of blame to go to.
00:43:24
Brady need me? Not by the way he played, but maybe his unwillingness to get the other kids involved.
00:43:30
When your options weren't there, you had no tight end.
00:43:34
Anyways, Brady responded with Please stop this nonsense.
00:43:38
Please be more responsible with purporting 19 years together and brothers for life.
00:43:45
And he did that over Instagram, which I'm sure Gary Myers doesn't have because he's a boomer or if he dies, he takes the mom photos all the time.
00:43:58
So let's get back to the article.
00:43:59
The first question here is obvious.
00:44:01
Whom do you believe? Myers is respected? Brady isn't too often.
00:44:06
Isn't often isn't too often in the business of addressing media reports At the end of the day, the staunch Brady supporters one definitely fall on the side of their hero, who remains the greatest quarterback in player in the history of the NFL.
00:44:20
But it's not that simple fact.
00:44:22
It's not beyond Brady to have blowups with his offensive coordinator.
00:44:26
Bill O Brien wants rightly aired Brady out on the sideline in Washington during the 2011 season after Brady chastised to Kwan Underwood, a young, inexperienced receiver, for making a mistake in 2017.
00:44:39
Brady McDaniels famously had a blow up on the sideline of Buffalo, and Brady publicly apologized a few days later.
00:44:47
And listen, guys, before I go back that article, the reason that he publicly apologized was because they showed it on TV about 3000 times.
00:44:55
I bet you those kind of exchanges happened on the football field or in the locker room or at practice all the time.
00:45:00
Not just between Brady and his coaches, between professional football players and their coaches all the time.
00:45:06
It's passion.
00:45:08
You all need to relax with this stuff.
00:45:10
And I mean, you're what you're gonna use.
00:45:11
An example with Bill O Brien, Bill O Brien, who compared the Andre Hopkins to Aaron Hernandez, Bill O Brien, who didn't like to Davian Clowney.
00:45:20
So he traded him away.
00:45:21
Bill O Brien, who didn't like DeAndre Hopkins.
00:45:23
So we traded away Bill O'Brien, whose underachieved with a great Texans team.
00:45:28
Bill O Brien, who has proved to be one of the worst coaches in professional sports.
00:45:33
Bill O'Brien, who's just flat out an idiot.
00:45:36
Bill O Brien, who had a terrible draft.
00:45:39
That's the can freaking comparison you're going to make.
00:45:41
That's the example you're going to use Bill O Brien, who has been accused of being a bully, a bully in the locker room.
00:45:53
That's the example that you're going to use Mass.
00:45:59
I didn't get this worked up today.
00:46:01
I was actually on mass aside, but this got me a little fired up, have you? In the end, as we all continue to watch, Quote the last dance that chronicles the inner conflicts of Michael Jordan.
00:46:15
Brady had his moments, too, and now that he's gone, the 2020 season may afford us this unique opportunity to assess just how much of a problem Brady was at the end.
00:46:31
Oh, that's where it gets good.
00:46:33
Think about it.
00:46:35
For all the changes the Patriots have undergone this offseason, Brady is really the only significant loss to the offense.
00:46:43
The other starters air coming back from the offensive line to the skill positions.
00:46:47
Certainly, the return of injured center David Andrews will make a difference to, but you get the idea unless you count James Devon a valuable player.
00:46:55
But nothing more are valuable player, a valuable role player.
00:47:01
I apologize, but nothing more.
00:47:03
Quarterback is the only spot of major change in the offense.
00:47:06
The defense, meanwhile, has suffered multiple losses.
00:47:10
What if the offense this year improves? What if with Jared Stadium at quarterback, the Patriots offense is more Harmonists and more productive, even if it's less talented in an experienced at the most important position in sports.
00:47:26
What if system is better at working with his young receivers? Better at taking coaching? Less unhappy? Would people believed in that Brady or again, more specifically, Brady State of mind was a problem.
00:47:42
All the relief.
00:47:43
Here's where we can land now internally on offense.
00:47:46
The Patriots, where Something of a mess last year, they had injuries and issues on the offensive line.
00:47:51
They had a young, inexperienced receiving Corp.
00:47:54
And it certainly feels as if they were.
00:47:57
There was dysfunction in the nerve center of the entire offensive operation, from the coach to the quarterback in with the offensive coordinator in between and 2020.
00:48:07
We might get a far better picture of just how much that's ****y.
00:48:19
That's ****y.
00:48:22
I'll tell you this, though, I think there was a little bit of a attitude problem with Brady last year, weather was towards ballot.
00:48:31
Check towards young receivers towards McDaniels.
00:48:33
Who knows? I saw it.
00:48:35
I mean, you all wrong this show When I said Tom Brady is getting a little whiny He was bugging me a bit.
00:48:41
This is way before free agency started in mid season.
00:48:46
You know, when he came out after that, Eagles win and he looked like he was just so frustrated after a win.
00:48:53
I said, Tom Brady doesn't look right and he's becoming a little bit spoiled in a little bit whiny.
00:49:02
Of course, you guys killed me for that, but I stand by it.
00:49:08
I won't. I won't.
00:49:09
I'll always stand by everything I say.
00:49:15
I think you could see guys that could kill here in Jacoby.
00:49:17
Meyers had better seasons this year without Tom Brady, because I'm sure Jared Stein will be more willing to work with the young guys.
00:49:22
We saw the connection between state of, but but but But But But but but let's also not forget that connection that used to be between Tom Brady and Dion Branch, two young guys growing up together in the system.
00:49:33
I mean, that's normal mass whether or not.
00:49:38
I want to say that you had Tom Brady was a problem last year.
00:49:41
I'm not prepared to say that right now, but I will say that I do agree there was an issue with his attitude a little bit, and I address that during the season.
00:49:50
So this isn't some new revelation for me.
00:49:51
This is a meeting with sour g****s like, Oh, you know, Brady is not a patriot anymore.
00:49:55
Someone to come out here and rip him apart.
00:49:57
I was saying when he was a patriot, I'm I've never been afraid to insult Tom Brady.
00:50:04
Um, when I thought you are I don't want to say insults not I've never been afraid to critique Tom Brady when I believed it was justified and I believe it was justified.
00:50:15
Definitely was just fine.
00:50:16
Now he was a little whiny last year, but to say that his attitude was a big problem for the Patriots.
00:50:27
I'm not prepared to say that.
00:50:31
I think one of the biggest problem of tapes high last year, they don't have a tight and core who could do anything.
00:50:37
Let's not forget.
00:50:38
Yeah, he's got yesterday was gonna come in with us.
00:50:40
Er story with with I just gave away my whole build up, but yeah, he's gonna have to kill here.
00:50:45
Yeah, he's gonna have Jacoby Meyers.
00:50:47
Yeah, he's gonna have, um, the kid I just talked about.
00:50:50
What I say is uber he's gonna have Julia Nadelmann.
00:50:53
He's gonna have Mohammed Sunu.
00:50:55
I believe Julian Edelman is gonna do everything he can to make sure it's still I'm successful.
00:51:00
But it also gonna have Ozzy, Ozzy, he's gonna have a tight end.
00:51:02
It actually throw the ball to Malik.
00:51:04
Cost is going to take the second or third tight end on the team.
00:51:07
That's the spot he needs to be and not the number one spot.
00:51:12
So it's Ah, I don't think we're gonna see that judgment.
00:51:17
It would just be like if the Patriots don't go to the playoffs this year and Brady wins the Super Bowl, you can turn around and say, Oh, bring is better than Ballot Shack.
00:51:25
Or if Brady does fall off a cliff.
00:51:27
This you have 43 years old, so Well, you know politics better than Brady.
00:51:32
We're never gonna get the answer because of the cir***stances.
00:51:34
Aaron, if you put Belichick on the Ravens or the Chiefs right now to coach them and Brady played over in Tampa Bay.
00:51:42
Then then you have a fair comparison of who contol who can Who can Ballot shack play with? We're talking a bunch of undrafted free agent second year receivers of rookie rookie tight ends and and a couple of veterans with a second year, fourth round draft. A quarterback.
00:52:03
That's not the same situation.
00:52:05
Is Brady playing with Rob Gronkowski, O.
00:52:07
J.
00:52:08
Howard, Chris Goodwin, Mike Evans and Bruce Arians? Coach like It's just it's It's two completely different situations.
00:52:15
Um, and I'm looking at bodies coming here.
00:52:17
It's absolutely perfect.
00:52:18
You know, there's there's so many variables that none of it matters anymore.
00:52:22
Um, and we're gonna watch.
00:52:25
We're gonna learn nothing.
00:52:26
We're gonna learn nothing about this season.
00:52:28
Joe's asking.
00:52:29
How much grief do you think Brady had with them over a B? I think a lot.
00:52:32
But I don't think that was towards that was more towards craft.
00:52:36
I think that Ballot Shack was upset about it.
00:52:38
I don't believe that battle check wanted to get rid of Antonio Brown.
00:52:41
Um, so yeah.
00:52:45
Ah, you're asking me about Hastings? Joe, I'm not.
00:52:48
I don't want to talk to that because I'm not or you understand you excited about? Yeah.
00:52:55

Yeah.
00:52:55
I don't want to talk about those guys got not really that familiar with them, so I don't want to.
00:52:59
