And welcome to Episode 33 of the greatest piece board show.
And today it will mostly be a recap of the draft.
Maybe all mix in some other things.
But although the draft was finished on Sunday, and this is a little late, actually, three days late, I am still gonna do every count for the draft and will be a seven day recap.
Every pick from every round.
Ah, you will go from rounds one from seven.
So about seven episodes.
So why, when we finish, the Siri's will be at episode 40 Probably, which is crazy.
But anyway, I'm gonna put the call and number in the tract real quick here.
All right, let's see, you guys can call and using that.
You're you can call into the show using the number 8573213551 Just gonna take that in the tract real quick.
All right, here we go.
So I'm going to recap the draft real quick.
Hold on one second here.
All right, so here we go.
So I'm just going to get a list of the selections up real quick and then we'll be able to get started.
So time to get started.
Now, every cup of the draft day number one and today I'll be recapping every pick from the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
Alright, So first, I just want to say the dress went a little bit more smoothly than I thought it would.
You know, I thought it would be a little different, but it actually kind of was obviously not normal because you got like, um, God allowed his ba*****t and stuff, announced the draft, but it was still kind of a normal feeling to it.
And I think it went better than expected anyway.
So as you guys know, the Bangles selected gio borrow quarterback out of L s U with the number one pick in the draft in.
Ah, this is a really good pick.
And everyone thought coming into the draft, the Bangles, they're gonna pick, grow, borrow when it was a foregone conclusion and later after job.
So now if I think Burrows s so I'm gonna do this forever, picture, I think they're gonna be a bust, or they're gonna be a good player.
Joining for is going to be a buster, a good player.
I think he's gonna end up being a good player because not only just because he did was he didn't call it that like that might not translate to the NFL.
But just his build, how he plays his i Q. His knowledge.
That is part of the reason why I think drove borrow is going to be a great NFL player, and he's not in too good of a situation.
I got to say with the Bangles, but he's got some weapons. Tyler Boyd.
Green drill mixing at running back and then, obviously, on defense, it's not too good there in Cincinnati, anyway.
Thank you to K Ball girl for joining the broadcast, but anyway, obviously, in Cincinnati, you don't have a break defense there.
But still he is like, obviously, is in a bad situation in Cincinnati.
It's not a good it's not a good team, but like it's it's like, not as bad as it seems.
I feel like because on offense they got some solid receivers, solid running back and Joe Mixon and then broken elevate the receivers is play with his talent just like Tom Brady kind of does.
And that was actually a comparison I had for him.
I compared him toe Tom Brady.
I compared Joe borrowed him because obviously he's probably gonna come with six rings and be the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL in play till his age 42 season.
And more for Brady.
But, uh, I am kind of comparing his style of play, his build and stuff like that.
Brady maybe has a little bit of a better build.
Uh, if you ever seen Brady a picture at the combine, it doesn't look too good, I got to say, But anyway, yeah, drove where? I was not in a great situation in Cincinnati, but he's staying home because he was born in Ohio.
Cincinnati is in Ohio, so that's great.
It won't have to be going to like hotels and stuff a lot, actually, I don't know exactly where he lives in Ohio.
He might be a few hours away from Cincinnati, so maybe he actually wait.
He would you buy a host wherever you got drafted? Yeah, I'm an idiot.
He would you buy a house wherever you got drafted? And then you might not have to do that, though, obviously, because he lives in Ohio.
But yeah, anyway, Joe Borough.
I think it's a very good pick.
And although he might not live up to his huge potential, I think he's still gonna be pretty good.
But I think people are going to be disappointed in this first year.
I don't think he's gonna have an amazing first year.
I think his first you will be kind of getting into it and stuff getting into the flow and stuff, and he'll be kind of just having a solid year.
But then I think he'll break out in the second year and start playing great.
Anyway, that's my recap for the number one pick now for the number two pick, the Washington Redskin selected Trace Young defensive end out of Ohio State University, so he's young.
5 sacks last year and six forced fumbles in 12 dams or maybe even 11.
And to think it was in college.
So it was a great year, and in his whole career at Ohio State he was just great and this is a huge addition for the residents because Now you've got Montas sweat and trees young on the same defensive line, even though sweat, he plays linebacker he's of Russian linebacker to, and I think he could go on the offensive line because he rushes the quarterback good and the investors lethal toe have them both on that defense, and then they can add some pieces to the puzzle.
Ah, this sea off season or maybe next year in the draft.
Or maybe they can use some of their other draft players that they got.
You know he's young and Montas what? That you shouldn't amazing do well, think about it.
The quarterback has tree single month side Montas, red on one side, or them both coming from the same side, just bulldoze and through the offense of flying right to the quarterback.
So I think that's a great pickup.
And I think obviously everyone was saying Redskins, they're going to go with you showing unless they trade out of the second pick.
I think it's smart.
Teoh not frayed out of the second pick, and I think treats Young is a very good addition tohave to the team.
He is very agile for a person at his position.
He's athletic and he's not too top heavy, you know, he's just he is kind of.
He gets sacks Aton, he and forced fumbles.
He does everything out Adam's position, and I think Tray Ceiling is a great pick up for the Redskins.
He's a great player, and as far as driving, he will be a good player or a bust.
I think he ends up being a good player, my prediction, but probably be two Pro Bowls and stuff like that.
Maybe the Hall of Fame, obviously, that's a huge prediction is career isn't even started yet, But if I had to go out on a limb and make a prediction here, I'd say he wins like a few.
Well, Goto a few Pro Bowls.
Maybe When's the defensive player of the year or something like that? Ah, so, yeah, I think she's young, has a pretty great courier.
Not like an insane career, but a pretty great ones anyway.
For the 1st 2 picks I've recap drove are growing tree sung now with the number for you.
Pick that it right.
Lions selected difficult.
Another Ohio State product.
He is a cornerback out of Ohio State, like I said So the Lions.
They were predicted to pick a Kuta, but they also could have picked.
You know, Isaiah Simmons, who actually fell the 10.
They could have picked Andrew Thomas offense of tackle who went to the drying with the next pick.
But yeah, I think it's smart to go Thakurta because obviously there's two of theirs harbored after them, but they don't need a quarterback they have.
Matthew Stafford was pretty solid, and then Darius Slay left for the Eagles, so that leaves a gaping hole, a cornerback.
And they filled the right there with Jeff A.
Kuta because you know, he's a great leader and he's a great player.
Overall, he was right out of high of state, has experience in the playoffs from his years at a high of state when they played pretty great.
And I think that drift Cuda is a great pickup for the Lions.
I mean, I think that with a lot of the draft picks, but the next pick works the drawings had I'm not too happy about if I was a drawing strand of a Piedras room, but home a Giants fan, I'm not too happy with that.
Ah, drying picked up that had, but I'll get to that in a minute.
Overall, I think Jeff Akula will have a decent career like a few approvals.
Not like defense to play of the year caliber and stuff like that.
But I think he ends up having a solid career for the Lions, and he kind of fills their need right now.
And maybe the lines can make a playoff run next year.
Probably not a deep one, but maybe sneak into the playoffs, especially with seven seeds now for each conference because of the new C B A that was implemented into the NFL.
But anyway, that's what I think about Jeff Ricotta.
So I've gone through the 1st 3 picks, drove borrow face young Andrew ***uda.
Time to go through 29 more and get through this whole first round.
So with the number four pick, the Giant selected Andrew Thomas offense of tackle out of Florida let me get this straight.
They could have gone with Isaiah Simmons, who they're predict projected to pick.
They could have gone with Derek Brown, defensive Panchal, old of Auburn.
Let's see that could have gone, maybe with harbored if They don't like Gaynor Jones, but I don't know.
It's same thing with Tula.
They could have known what C.
J. Henderson, quarterback out of Florida.
UH, General Willis offense of Trample out of Alabama, although I think he might be a little bit worse than and promise there's so many players that could have went with then.
I obviously I am a little bit kind of discriminating the offensive line here because it's not a skill position.
I am like they don't really.
They do a lot and their underappreciated played in the They're not really in the spotlight, But still, I don't think this is a good pick.
They have a STI sin offensive line, even though it would be great to get a guy for a gentle drones to halftime in the pocket and for sake. One.
Barkley on one hand.
I think this is a pretty good pick, but in another way, I think it's a bad pick because they could have gone with Isaiah Simmons, who I think is the most talented and versatile or one of the most talented players in this draft and the most versatile most draft as a seven second by every position on defense.
You could feel any need on defense for the Giants.
He's just so good because the opposing team they don't know where he's gonna line up.
Is he gonna line up on the defensive? Ah, defensive fun.
Is he gonna line up at cornerback at safety at linebacker? He can line up anywhere, and he runs a 4.39.
So is he a Simmons? He's a huge weapon have for a team, and I don't know how he fell so low, because the drivers could easily pick them there.
And I expected them to definitely go with Simmons.
And it surprised me when they went with Andrew Thomas.
And I don't think it's too good of a pick, although Indra Thomas would be a pretty good player to a kind of pay of the way, Ah, force a qualm Barkley.
Still, I just think that they should have gone with Isaiah Simmons.
They need some help on defense.
You can let any position they need, and they needed positions on defense.
They can move him around, have imply any position they want.
So I think that's a bad pick.
They should have gone with Simmons, I think, and as far as well, Andrew Thomas be a bust or not, I think you'll end up having a solid career and be like, kind in the league for 10 to 15 years and just be a solid players similar to kind of neat solder but whoever you have.
But ah, I think Isaiah Simmons is gonna have a great career, and I think they should have definitely went with his A Simmons.
But that's just my opinion anyway.
Thank you to Madden on SportsCastr SCM, assuming it stands for SportsCastr and anyway, thank you for joining the broadcast.
But that's the 1st 4 picks, and I'm gonna go to a commercial break real quick.
Actually, not a commercial break.
I used to play commercials.
If anyone wants me to bring them back, I will.
But I just kind of feel like I shouldn't really play them anymore.
That's the 1st 4 picks that I'm going to go through, and we have 28 picks more to break down.
And with the next pick, the Miami Dolphins had the number five pick and they selected to attack a viola.
I'll give my opinion on that.
And a quick breakdown in two or three minutes when I come back at about the 15 minute mark.
All right, guys.
That break was longer than I thought it was gonna be, but anyway, I need to go get my phone to keep breaking down if wrap it from the NFL draft.
All right, so here we go.
Time to break down the number five pick in the NFL draft.
Let me just refresh the page. A drill, quick.
So what the number five pick the Miami Dolphins soft did to would have Iowa quarterback out of Alabama.
And to, uh, obviously he has had his injury problems, which probably kept him from being a top three pick in this draft.
Or maybe them but one pick.
But also because the Lions, they have Matthew Stafford and stuff.
But he could have been the number one pick over borough if he didn't have injury problems with his hip and his ankle and stuff.
But still, he was number five pick in the draft.
He is very talented, and he showed that in college, And as far as the injury problems, I don't think those will keep him back during a scream.
But I do think to a will be a bust, so this is probably an unpopular opinion.
But I think to a will be a bust because not just cause of the injury problems.
I already said at a link those will affect his career.
But just his mechanics are his mechanics.
I think they're going to be a little bit off in the NFL and stuff and just, I don't know, like I don't know his style of play.
It's like he doesn't really run a lot.
That will help and that would probably give him more of a chance to get injured.
But just I don't know.
I do feel like his style of playable kind of make him into a bust and I don't know if he's gonna pan out in the NFL.
I don't know why I really think that, but I just think to it will be a bust and although he is very, very talented, that's just my opinion and time to break down the next pick.
All right, we're about to hit the 18 minute mark anyway with the number six pick of the Los Angeles Chargers selected dressed in Herbert quarterback Oda.
Boring it. So Justin.
Herbert, As you guys know, if you launched my last few broadcast broadcasts, actually within s anyway, I wanted Justin Harvard to go to the Patriots very, very bad because I think he's very talented.
He's a great player, great leader, industry, great player toe have on the Patriots.
If he were to be on the Patriots, he said he loved the Patriots and through at the combine, and that was probably his favorite one out of all the teams that interviewed him and kind of talk to him.
And obviously, if the Chargers didn't get him, there's no guarantee he follows 2 23 to go to the Patriots.
But I think the Patriots probably should have freed it up.
I don't know if they have enough to do that, but they couldn't read in the number 23 pick, uh, to with their third round picks, a four from pick and something else, that's probably what it would take.
They could have traded all that straight up to six, and I thought maybe the charters weren't gonna get Herbert because they like Tyrod Taylor.
But they got him.
And I think Harbert He's in a great situation with Keenan, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams receiver.
He's got Austin Explorer in the backfield, so he's got a great offense already and just on a team that underachieved wildly last year.
And I think he is in the best situation out of any of the Q B is that were drafted and within the 1st 6 picks.
And that's just a perfect situation for him to go out there and play great in Los Angeles.
He's got weapons, Like I said, Ah, good running back, pretty good offensive line and it's exactly what he needs.
He's got a good coach, and I think the Chargers will probably make the playoffs next year behind Herbert.
And I think Herbert will be a great player and will not be a bust like I said to would.
Anyway, That's my opinion.
On dressed, Herbert were above to hit the 20 minute mark here on the show, anyway, with the number seven pick, the Carolina Panthers selected Derek Broom, defensive tackle out of Auburn.
So Garrick Brown, he is big, I believe, £320.
667 or something.
You might not that big, but I think something like that.
And he was reading at Auburn and also his weight that I don't think that's gonna be a problem.
Even though he's one of the heaviest players to come out of this draft, I don't think that's gonna be a problem.
Excuse me, and just like Derek Brown is, I think he could bulldoze with his power through opposing offensive linemen.
And he will just get a lot of sacks and tackles and stuff because he's just so big that you can get some of the offensive line.
Uh, probably pretty easily.
And I think he's one of those guys that will be a great player, will have to be doubled him on the offensive line in order to stop him, because he's just I think he's going to be such a big force and he's gonna end up being one of the greatest but are not one of the That's a way, way, way too big.
Prediction knows about to say, one of the greatest players at his position, but in our own, that's my bold prediction for Europe around.
But my prediction for now just toe kind of keep it.
What kind of within the range of what Derek Brown is predicted to do by a lot of others? I think Derek Brown is gonna end up having a great career, and when a few defensive player of the years and if I added to a player comparison for him, I compare him, toe me, be Chris Jones or somebody of that sort.
So I think that he's gonna have a great career.
And he's a very good pick up for this Panthers team who I think is probably one of the Trump five Boris teams, the NFL right now, even though they have Christian McCaffrey, in my opinion, the best running back in the league.
Still, I don't think they're too good of a team and they need to improve a lot and having Derek Brown in their defense.
Isa really good pickup.
And they lost Luke Heatley.
So they have a hold of Philip linebacker what they might have filled in the second round, but anyway, yeah, that's a huge pick for the Panthers to try to rejuvenate and reload their defense.
Although it was Isaiah Simmons was still on the board at that time, it could have been a little bit better to replace Looky Klay.
Still, I think it's a solid move by the Panthers to get Dark Brown, and I think he's gonna end up being a great player and kind of just a force of nature in the future.
At his position for the next 5 to 10 years at least, all right? And also, I think there ground is very great explosiveness.
And for a player of his size, he's pretty quick also.
And, you know, like I said, he could bulldoze their opposing offenses, flying all right with the number eight pick, the Arizona Cardinals select in Isaiah Simmons, linebacker out of plums in who I think should have been a top three top four pick in this draft.
He should have went to the Giants.
He's an absolutely great.
He's very, very versatile, amazingly talented.
You can play any position on defense.
You were in a 4.
39 at the Combine 40 yard dash, and that's just been seen.
How could you not want that if you just so good and he's a good leader he has experienced in playoff games that comes in and championships.
He's actually won championships.
That comes in and how could you not want? As a Simmons is so good, You can play any position on defense, and overall, he's just a great player, and I think he should.
It went to the drying with the number four pick and might end up being the best and most talented player from this draft.
I think he's gonna end up being a great player like I said, and I like him a lot.
I'm very, very hopeful that he has a great career and too many couldn't be on the Patriots.
Obviously we're nowhere near the position.
Ah, they needed to be in to draft him, and I'm glad that they were, because if they wore, if they were, it would mean that they have the number eight pick in the draft books with me and they miss the playoffs by a lot.
Even though they lost in the wild card last year.
Still, Ah, but anyway, yeah, I think Isaiah Simmons is gonna be a great player, most talented player and best player from this class.
He's so versatile and fills any teams need and it's just a player that I think G.
M's and coaches would love to have on their team, and the coaches would love the coach.
All right, so that's why I think.
Or that's on my breakdown of Isaiah Simmons with the number eight pick.
But anyway, with the number knowing pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected C J Henderson quarterback out of Florida and I think c d A.
Henderson, he's gonna end up being a pretty good player, but I think he'll just four kind of the spot he was in the draft.
Henderson will be a bust cause they're expecting huge things from for being a top 10 pick.
I think will be like a pretty solid player, kind of like a Jason McCord e a little bit.
But like I think he's gonna be considered a bus saying are kind of take into consideration that he was a top 10 pick.
People will think, Oh, he's probably should have a great career if you have picked this high.
So I think in some eyes of people who will be a bust part of my eyes, No, he won't be a bust.
It will be like a Jason McCourty kind of player, which could be considered a bust by some people.
But for me, that would not be considered a bust and would be considered a pretty good career by C. J. Henderson.
You know he is kind of really good on zone coverage.
She speedy is quick, and you know he's physical, even though he's crying too small.
He he can kind of battle with some of the big guys, even though they're even though he kind of like isn't the greatest player from this draft and most talented.
I think he has potential to be a pretty good player, kind of like Jason McCourty, anyway, with the number 10 pick of the Cleveland Browns.
So, like it'd Dedrick.
Well, it's offensive town pull out of Alabama.
So the Browns had job Thomas.
They're long time, great offense of Lineman retire from the team two years ago, and they have been kind of needing a replacement ever since that happened.
And General Willis is a great and ideal replacement half of them because he's from Alabama and Alabama has the greatest, probably the greatest staff in college football.
He's getting code from next Eben and they're often supplying Coach.
I don't know exactly who it is, but it's probably great considering it's Alabama.
He has experience in playoff games.
He is big. He can.
I think he's gonna be able to hold down the defensive line and give become Rayfield some extra time in the pocket, and we'll end up having a long and great career.
I know like Joe Thomas did for the Browns.
So that's what I think kind of will happen to General Willis.
And I think he's a very talented player.
And as Faras, will he be a good player, a bust? I think he ends up being a good player and is worth the top 10 pick that the Browns took on him anyway.
With you, Number 11 pick.
I have the New York or not.
I was thinking, Ah, I'm kind of used to doing a monk draft So I was about to say I have the Jets selecting this, uh, this guy.
But anyway, the dread selected Mecke Beckton offense of tackle out of Louisville, and that's true threat offensive tackles that were selected 10 and 11 and anyway, so the Jets, they have Sam Donald, that quarterback Levy on Bell at running back who underachieved last year.
And I think this will help Bell because you know, he always waits for players to develop, and that's kind of a style.
And ****ey Beckenham will help the players develop and help him get some space to run and will help Sam Donald have some time in the pocket and hopefully not get stamped as much.
It's a huge addition, because now del our lady on Bell can end up being the player he was with Steelers, maybe and rejuvenate his career with Mecca Beckton on the offensive line because that could help them a lot and give them more space to run, especially with his style of play, where they kind of need a good offense of line.
Well, she had in Pittsburgh, but then his first year last year in New York on the Jets, he didn't really have so I think it's a very, very, very good pick by the dress to select ****** back to, and I think he's a great player and who will be definitely worth the top 11 pick I think ends up being an amazing player in the NFL and will be kind of like kind of like, you know, like a maybe a joke promise.
Took a person who ends up having that type of career like a great career.
Hopefully, he wins a championship, though hopefully for him and the dress haven't won a championship in a while, so that would be great for the dress if they could win one, even though, obviously, I would love for the Pedro's 21 at every single year.
But that's not gonna happen now because Tom Brady is gone.
And some other key players, like Kyle Van Noy and Stuff in the Patriots are in the Jets division.
Which kind of sucks because I think the Jets have a bright future, especially with I think Lady on Bell will be able to rejuvenate his career from this picture.
Not solely just based on Beckton and this Onley.
But I think we'll definitely help and help them kind of get back to where he was in Pittsburgh instead of having the same type of year he had last year.
Was she in what she under a G of So I think ****ey Bactine will help that and especially with Le'veon Bell style play, where he waits for a place to develop and then starts taking off.
I think Becky Beckman will be able to hold down the defense of wine and help him get more carries and more rushers.
Well, more rush yards will lead to more carries, probably, especially because Robby Anderson has gone.
So they need it right? Run gain, and this will help them for next year because they don't have too good of a receiving corps.
So they're running.
Core will have to be great.
And I think ****** beckon in will help the run gain a lot, anyway.
Went the number 12 pick.
The Las Vegas Raiders selected Henry Rugs, the third wide receiver out of Alabama Henry rugs.
He land, I think, a 4.
25 40 yard dash with combine, and she's just very, very, very fast.
He challenged John Ross for the record at the 40 yard dash from the combine.
He is a very good deep threat and will help Derek Carr and Marcus Mariota.
It will help the mode at quarterback of the Raiders, a very good weapon and obviously, like I said, a deep weapons to throw to.
I think he is worth the number 12 pick that the Raiders took on him, and I think he will end up being pretty good because although at the end of his career, I think he's not going to shoot good like I think for until he's 30 of already one, you'll be good.
But then he'll start a loses speed, which is kind of his trademark thing.
But I think will be really good, kind of like a Tyreek Hill in its first, like 10 years.
And then when Authority authority 1 32 I think, will start to fall off because this speed will be gone and then kind of will have no amazing freed because that's his trademark thing, you know, and that's the same thing, which I re kill.
I think that's exactly what's gonna happen to Terry Kill Man.
By the time he's in his mid totally authorities, maybe even early thirties people will be saying what happened to Terry Kill? I think that's gonna happen, Henry rugs, but it'll end up being a good player.
Blake Tyreek Hill for the first half of his career, but then in the back half of his career will end up not being too good cause the speed will be gone and he'll kind of have nothing.
That suit distinguishes him from the rest of the pack.
A wide receiver, anyway, I will be back to a breaking down the number 13 pick in the draft books the Camp Bay Buccaneers had, and I'll tell you who they selected.
If you guys don't know, I'll tell you in two or three minutes when I'm back, probably at the 34 or 35 minute mark, I might have to start breaking down these picks even sooner cause I'll try to get these are all done before the hour mark.
So I am back to recap more of these picks.
So let's see, how many pics do we have left? So I address recap the Las Vegas Raiders picked, so we got about 19 picks left and I'm gonna recount the number 13 pick in the draft now.
So with the number 13 pick in the draft, these handful Bay Buccaneers selected first and worst offensive tackle out of Iowa, and the colt originally had this pick.
So the Buccaneer treated up to get it.
And I think it's smart because obviously the Buccaneers have Tom Brady at quarterback.
He's gonna be 43 when the season starts, and he needs some good offense of lineman so he doesn't get destroyed because one big hit could end his career if it causes an injury because he's 43 and then a big hit could lead to a big injury and one big injury but end his career so they can't let him get kind of banged up.
So they need a good offense of line.
And I think selecting first A Mervis is very smart because not only did they need on offense of lineman, they need a good one in first, Um, Works is very, very good.
He was amazing for I what last year, and he's He's quick for a person of his size in position, and he you just agree player tohave for the Buccaneers, cause now, ah breed, you won't be getting sacked left and right.
Hopefully, if tritium are spans that with containers need him to be great because they can't but Brady get banged up or else that's gonna screw him up because he's already 43 when you're a quarterback, that old, obviously he's You just needs to not get banged up, because if he gets banged up, then that could be kind of revenge to his career.
So that's a very smart move to get an offensive lineman by the Buccaneers.
And it's a smart move to trade up to.
So, yeah, it only, though, are.
Although they only traded up one pick, the 40 Niners probably would have selected fresh from worths.
And that's your actual Wait a minute.
So the chamber but the colds hand to pick.
But the four diners originally and pick.
So I'm confused because the 40 Niners, the 40 Niners must add it, because then the 40 Niners got the 14th pick for him.
The Buccaneers? I don't know, but that's just a smart move.
Ah, by the bucket there is getting song.
Tritium works out of Iowa offense of triangle with the 13th pick in the dress.
All right, so now list the 14th pick in the draft.
I have the sandwich or not.
I have the 40 Niners did so lunch.
Let's see this luck did.
Javon can lot offensive Campell out of Self Carolina and given can lie originally had him going number nine in my mock draft.
So I think he fell a little bit.
And I think it's a smart move by the 400 because they lost a forest bunker.
So now to have a replacement for him and gave Fontenla to pair with Nick Bosa again would be great.
And that's exactly what they did.
So now Ken Law and boasts of both very, very young.
We'll be able to kind of maybe light up the league on defense and keep the 40 Niners defense great and maybe each one a different player of the year to even though boasts probably definitely well.
I think in law has a great chance to also, and as Faras will, Draven can lobby a Buster good player.
I think he ends up being a great player and both saying command of being one of the greatest duo is on offensive line in the history of the NFL.
Honestly, this is a very bold prediction, but both so we already know basically that is gonna be great because he looks like that there's no stopping him, then dream on Ken Law.
I think he's gonna be great, and it might be going out on a limb here.
But I think Shavon Ken Love will end up being great and will be an amazing duo for 10 to 15 years to come, cause both says only 23 can last.
Also 23 I think.
All right, So now, with the 15th pick in the draft, the Denver Broncos selected very Judy wide receiver out of Alabama.
So a lot of Broncos fans were happy with this pick.
Now Drew locked.
The young quarterback will be a paired up with a great receiver, young receiver injury, Judy out of Alabama jury duty.
He's physical heathen kind up make catches in one on one battles with big defensive backs.
And he's just a great player.
Tohave for the Broncos.
Now they have Courtland Sutton and Joey Judah.
Jerry Judy as a great, ah, wide young wide receiver combo.
And now Drew Long has two great reliable weapons to firm Shoe man, I think.
Sorry, Judy will end up being a pretty great player.
Now, with the number 16 pick, the Atlanta Falcons soft did a J.
Taurel quarterback out of comes in.
I like him a lot, and I think he's a great leader.
His leadership is one of his greatest traits, and he also eyes good at getting interceptions.
Obviously, like a lot of great defensive backs are, and you know, he he's just a great player.
Tohave for the Falcons.
They need defense, especially after Desmond Trufant, their best cornerback.
In my opinion, Ah, went to was either freight lines.
So now getting a J.
Terrell replaces Desmond True Fund.
I think Carol will end up being a pretty solid player and have a Jason McCourty type of career, which is what I said for a few other people, all right now with the number 17 pic of the Dallas Cowboys.
Let's see, they selected CD lamb wide receiver out of Oklahoma.
So zd lamb, he is fast.
He is physical and his kind of like a Jerry Judy.
He's just friends, and she's just trigger your shiver for the Cowboys.
Now they're gonna have Amari Cooper and see Dilemma as a pretty great combo.
They're both fast.
They're both deep threats and CD lamb.
He has experience in the playoffs in Oklahoma, even though he got absolutely bowled a whizzed by. Ellis you.
He still is very good, and I think he's gonna be one of those guys where he's going to get double teamed a lot.
But then down, Prescott will be able to throw to Amari Cooper.
Selim, I think, is 23 Marie, who might be 25 but then press Scott's also like 25.
So that's two very too good, very young receivers in a very young quarterback.
That's also good.
I think they're gonna being a great great ah quarterback, wide receiver, kind of do low are actually Trio, and it's going to be very great for the Cowboys to have him, because now they have a very lethal, often still with the raid offense of lying.
Even though Travis Frederick retired.
They have an amazing offense in a great defense, and I would not be surprised if the Dallas Cowboys are making the Super Bowl regularly in a few years with, ah with Dak Prescott in his prime, Amari Cooper heading towards his prime and CD Liam are actually yeah, CD lamb heading towards his pregnant man.
I think he was definitely work for pick and I think will be a great player and definitely not a bust anyway.
Now, with the number 18 pick, the Miami Dolphins selected Austin Jackson offensive tackle outta you.
Ah, USC they got was picked from the Steelers in the Mink off its Patrick trade.
So essentially their trading.
Minka Fitzpatrick for Austin Jackson offense of Frankel out of USC.
It's good to add an offensive lineman to the mix with to attack viol.
I don't have too much to say about this, but it's great, like I said and having offensive linemen to kind of protect Chua and, yeah, very good move there by the Dolphins to get an offensive lineman.
And now they got a pretty great offense with also a pretty good defense, getting Byron Jones and Kyle Van Noy to very great players in the same off season.
I think the Dolphins have a very right future and they'll be competing with the Chiefs in a few years to kind of be a dynasty.
That's a bold prediction, but I think that's what's gonna happen.
It's gonna be the Dolphins and the Chiefs.
The class of the A F C and they'll battle it out for years to come.
I think that's what's gonna happen, obviously, that Dolphins have enemies and situation with a young head Kocian.
But Brian Flores was only in his early forties, and he's gonna great tm integrate, rebuilds going out there in Miami anyway.
Now with the number 40 pick, I'm going to go through these breakdowns a little bit quicker now because we're only 16 minutes away from the hour.
Mark and I might not really say too much about each pick coming up.
I might just say a few things, just like just like this guy's pretty good and stuff like that.
But any laid with the number 19 pick, the Las Vegas Raiders, with their pick from the Bears, selected Damon Arnett, quarterback out of I of State.
Ah, he was paired with Jeffrey Kuta, so he didn't really get toe get as much kind of recognition as he could've.
But still, he was a great player.
Yeah, great player on on the Ohio State and was a good duo with Jeffrey Koo is so yeah, I think that's a pretty good pick up by the readers All right.
Now with the number 20 pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Clave on trace on out of else you outside linebacker claim on Trees on.
I think he's going to be very good, are not very good, But I think he's going to be good, not a bust.
And he's a pretty good player, obviously, at l S U.
He was great, and that's good for the drag.
Worst victories on cause.
Now that rejuvenating their defense, their defense was so good.
And then they traded it all away.
And this is a good start to the rebuilding for the drag words.
Now with the number 21 overall pick the Philadelphia Eagles elected jail on reader wide receiver out of palace ERT ts TCU.
I don't know what I'm saying right now.
Sorry does anyway.
Yeah, I think it's pretty good pick for the Eagles.
They have terrible receivers in Nelson, Advil or and stuff, and they had the most dropped passes in the league last year.
So lets you should pick up ah to pick up, let's see to pick up reader.
Anyway, I'll be vamp in about five minutes, and I'm gonna take a break real quick, and then I'll go through the last 10 picks real quick, and I'll be back at about the 50 minute mark or like, 5 to 7 minutes.
So we have about 11 minutes left in the show, and I am back to recap the last 10 picks.
I'm just gonna check.
Ah, the percentage on my computer.
So I only have 32 minutes left according to my computer, 32 minutes left until my computer hit.
0% causes that 10% right now.
So even if I did want to break down players a lot, you know, make like, five minute break downs and each player like I was doing earlier.
I can't really you that? Because I only have 32 minutes left until my computer had zero, According to my computer.
All right, so I'm gonna recap the last 10 picks here with the number 20 to pick the Minnesota Vikings with their pick from the build selected, dressed in Jefferson by receiver, out of l issue to trying to replace stuff on digs.
Now they have Adam feeling and Justin Jefferson.
It's a solid pick.
Overall Jefferson was great at Alice you.
He's one a natural stamping trip.
So he has, ah, playoff and championship experience, and she's just kind of a great player toe have for L S.
U he you know, he was Ah, a very good player for Ellis.
You like I said he he also I think you had eat under yards last year or something on a staff tell issue team.
So that's pretty good for Justin Jefferson there.
And now do I think he's going to be a bust or a good player? I think he's gonna be a solid player in the NFL, and maybe he'll hind to be like a Chris Hogan player like his career, like it will be a pretty good career.
Not anything amazing, but a pretty great career, even though Holman did win and I think to Sugar Bowls with the Patriots and he might have actually only 11 But, uh, actually, wait, didn't even win one.
I don't even think he did.
Was he on the Patriots last year? Last year, two years ago? Was holding on the Patriots two years ago? I don't know.
All right, so he immediate to the Super Bowl with Patriots, obviously, and lost to the Eagles, which is just very, very annoying.
But, uh, well, very annoying that they lost to the Eagles.
But ah, let's see, Crystal.
We cannot show me some writer, but anyway, let's see Chris Hogan.
He I think he played with patriots for, I think, only one year.
I don't know any way Holden is, though.
In two years old, right now, he played for the b 000 never mind. Never mind.
Yeah, he was on the P dress when they won Super Bowl 53 51.
On their last drive against the Falcons, I remember Brady completed a few passes to Hogan, so yeah, yeah, Crystal getting was on the Patriots for three years and 1 to rules with them.
So, well, 53 51 all right.
Anyway, with the number 23 pick of the Los Angeles charters with their pick that they got from the Patriots, they slept in Kenneth Murray, linebacker out of Oklahoma.
I wish the Peter to get him.
He's a great player and a solid pick up for the Chargers.
I think he's gonna end up being a solid player in the NFL.
Good addition to the Chargers defense, and maybe it can help their defense a lot here, anyway, with the number 24 pic the New Orleans Saints selected says are we is center slash guard out of Michigan.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good pick by the Saints because they have debris, is who is getting pretty old.
I think he's about to hit 40 years old and they need some offensive lineman toe kind of help them not get banged up.
And I think it's a solid move to get in office.
Wyman expensively Ruiz out of Michigan because he was pretty good last year at Michigan and throughout his whole career in Michigan.
So it's a solid pick, and I think that he will end up being a pretty good player anyway.
What the number 25 pick the San Francisco 40 Niners with a pick from the Vikings? Selected Brandon, a Young, quite a wide receiver out of Arizona State.
I don't know too much about him, so I can't really say too much about him, but he I just know that you pretty solid player I think he's gonna have a decent career, and that's my opinion on them.
Good move to pick up a receiver for the 40 Niners after they lost Emmanuel Sanders.
But, yeah, I don't really have too much to say about him since.
I don't really know a lot about him.
Now a surprising pick with the number 26 pick in the draft.
The Green Bay Packers selected.
Born in love quarterback out of Utah State, this is very, very surprising.
The Packers have Aaron Rodgers, who has a solid 4 to 5 good years left in at least the at least. Lee.
He has at least three more good years left in, and they went with Borden Love here, so that kind will probably get Aaron Rodgers mad.
Those rumors that Matt Leffler is tired of Arun rounders and doesn't like him, so maybe Aaron Rodgers after his contract ends next year, go to the Patriots, and that would be great because I am a Piedras Fam.
But wow, I was very shocked by this pick.
I was thinking, Why would the Packers need to get Jordan? Look, they have Aaron Rodgers, but that surprised me and I think it's gonna need to Aaron Rodgers going out of Green Bay.
And overall, I think you're gonna love will be pretty good, but not anything like our Rogers.
And I think I'm understood as a few more good years left in him.
So I think it's dumb by the Packers to do that.
That's going to get Aaron Rodgers mad.
And now Rodgers is probably gonna leave Green Day after next year when it's contract expires.
Just don't that's what I think.
It's just complete.
It's just it's foolishness.
Why would they go with joining love? They're gonna lose Aaron Rodgers now, probably.
And that's they already.
Everyone Runners West.
We, too, for more good years left in him, probably.
And I think that's just dumb to go withdraw it in love.
All right, anyway, with the number 27 pick, the Seattle Seahawks selected boredom.
Brooks line Makarounas, Texas Tech.
Even though Texas Tech isn't to one from a big name school, he did play a great at Texas Tech Lancia, and he's a pretty good player tohave for them anyway.
It says there's a new thing on the track anyway.
Oh, yeah, there is.
Thank you to Brad Smith for joining the broadcast, but yet Jordan Brooks.
He's a solid player for the Seahawks to get.
Now they have Bobby Wagner, him, Andrew Keene, Griffin as the linebacker for actually tricking Griffin.
He's probably barely gonna play.
No, not because of a story where he only has, Ah, one working only has one hand, but I just like him, you know, as a player and stuff his style of play.
But he's probably not gonna play that.
She didn't play to laughs last year.
His brother made the Pro Bowl, but I don't think he's gonna play too much.
So will be Bobby Wagner, Jordan Brooks and one other guy as the linebacker core for the C oX remain core.
But anyway, I'm gonna break down the number 28 pick rail quickly now, so I have a vote 5 to 10 more minutes left in the show.
But anyway, with the number 48 pick, the Baltimore Ravens selected Patrick Clean linebacker out of L s U.
So Patrick queen.
A lot of Ravens fans were very happy with this pick, and I was washing.
The patrons could get him at number 23.
But then they treated Odin in the second round.
So that made me a little bit mad, because now the Ravens get queen, and that will help.
They're already great defense now the linebacker Force Matthew Food on and Patrick Clean, who I think is gonna have a great career and his great player re pick up overall for the Ravens.
And I just watched the Patriots could get him all right.
But the number 29 period could be Tennessee taking and Soft and Isaiah Wilson office of Pack A Lot of Georgia, another offensive tackle out of Georgia, because Andrew Thomas was selected with the number four pick by the dry.
It's earlier, and overall, I think it's a solid pick by the Titans toe.
Have somebody for Derrick Henry.
You know somebody to provide some walking for Derrick Henry and you know, they still I think they have Jack Conklin still and Ryan can hell now has probably way more time in the pocket because I think I say have also mind up being a very good player and it's a solid move because they already have a great offense.
They just need to make their offense of lying a little better.
Books they did here by drafting Isaiah Belsen, and I think he's gonna have a pretty good career and definitely not be a bust.
Like I said for some other players.
All right, now I went the next pick.
What? See the Miami Dolphins? So I did.
And no one gigabit Naqoura, Henny quarterback out of Auburn.
I don't think I pronounced it right, but anyway, I don't know too much about him.
So I can't say a lot about him, But he probably solid player.
I think he's gonna have a decent career, not too bad.
And Miami Dolphins that now they have him and Byron drones all.
Also Saving and Howard at cornerback show.
It's a deep corner rack or and he might not get to lift players.
Ah, playing time.
But anyway, what's going on, boys? Yeah, what's up? Bread? But anyway, I mean and you know, 98 the Miami Dolphins.
They have Byron Jones, A Begin, Howard and the Sky.
So that's three good quarterbacks here that they have.
So obviously that means that he won't get in an insane amount of playing time when he won't be like kind of a main guy.
Also thank you to Sports Boy one on one Lucas evidence for doing in the broadcast.
But anyway, obviously, he won't be too much of a main guy.
Don't have kind of a limited role because he won't be like he because they still be behind Byron drones and saving Howard.
But I think overall he's going to be a solid player for the Dolphins.
And it's smart to pick a quarterback to bolster their defense a little bit and have a lot of debts that defensive back.
All right, so now with the number 41 pick, the Minnesota Vikings with their pick from the four Diners selected Drift Gladney cornerback out of TCU Jeff Gladney.
He's a solid player, and although he see use a small school, you still played some pretty good competition.
Any kind of lit up the competition.
So it's a smart move by the Vikings to get a cornerback because they don't really up to rate of a core at that position, and their defense overall isn't agreed.
So smart move and good move, especially to draft him.
So that's a solid move for the Vikings to get him that late in the first round.
Pretty smart and pretty lucky that he fell.
I mean, nobody is projected to be like top 20 or anything, so he didn't really fall.
But, I mean, I was expecting him to be top authority, like, not exactly authority of pick one before the Vikings.
But I was expecting them to go.
May be in the range of 20 Heat authority instead of 31.
So I think the solid pick anyway.
Thank you to a foresight J for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
But anyway, now took kind of off the show with the number 42 back of the Kansas City Chiefs selected hashtag Mahomes is play your voice.
Actually, GM called Patrick Mahomes and said, Who do you want? He said, quiet.
Edward Sawyer running back.
I would've else you when that's who they drafted.
Now, even though they do have a solid running back court now with Damien Williams, that that's kind of a little bit of a need because they don't have like a star running back that they had with Korean Hunt until tryingto, uh, did some things he shouldn't have that got him off of the Chiefs.
But I think it's a solid pick, especially because it's Patch loans player Price.
He must see something in him that he likes, and the GM went along with it and drafted him.
So that's a smart move, All right, so I have recap the whole first round and every pick.
If you just got here, then I will give a quick run down of of the draft order real quick.
So with the number one pick the bangle selected row borough with the number two pick.
The Redskins selected chasing on number three pick Difficult.
I went to the Lions with number four pick.
Andrew Thomas went to the Giants with the number five pick to attack Criollo into the Miami Dolphins with the number six pick.
Los Angeles Chargers Selected.
Dressed in pervert with the number seven pick of Derek Brown out of Arbor and went to the Carolina Panthers with the number eight pick.
A resort of Arizona Cardinals Selected Isaiah Simmons with the number nine pick of the drag War Selected C J.
Henderson with the number 10 pick.
The Browns select the dreaded Willis with the number 11 pick of the New York Jets selected Mucky Beck him with the number 12 pick, though.
Rob, I'm trying to speak too fast here, but with the number 12 pick, the Redskins Raiders actually selected Henry rugs with the number 13 pick.
The Buccaneers selected first and words with the number 14 pick and the 40 Niners selected Driven Ken Law, the number 15 pick.
Their the Broncos selected Jerry Judy, wide receiver out of Alabama.
The number 16 pick went to the Falcons, and they soft it a J Terrell quarterback out of comes in, and that's kind of the 1st 16 picks.
And anyway, there was also 16 more, obviously, in the first room, because every because there was 32 picks.
But that's coming to the 1st 16 picks.
And I was going to end the broadcast now, though, so I have rehab the whole first round tomorrow.
Maybe the day after that, and Episode 34 I will recap the second round of this draft, and then we'll probably be seven or seven episodes of recapping of around one through seven.
But anyway, that was around one.
Thanks so much for watching.
I really appreciate it and make sure to tune into Episode 34 tomorrow or maybe the next day.
Thanks for for monitoring and have a great rest your night.
I hope you guys enjoyed the show and the NFL draft.
