We're happy Taco Tuesday.
Oh, little my friends.
How are we doing this? Wonderful? Tuesday evening.
I hope everyone's doing right.
Had a great week.
So far, we are kind of in a period of in between here where we just finished that high of the NFL draft and we don't have a whole lot of breaking news to cover.
You know, we just cover the last dance docuseries last night.
So that being said, I wanted to do a fun little exercise that I thought we could kind of brainstorm together, I would encourage fantasy football folks.
Teoh, please, Please, please be active in the chat room here.
This isn't going to go as well without your feedback and support.
So please feel free to comment where you feel fit and we will kind of go from there.
So for those of you that do not know Dynasty fantasy football kind of this self explanatory normal fancy football season's last year year and you in a dynasty treat it as though you are in NFL g m a dynasty.
You're building a dynasty.
So you're building for the long term.
So you're drafting players that can be useful.
This year skill position players is, you know, the majority of fantasy football players play, but, uh, you know, so so you're you're trying to win now this year, but you're also building for the future as well.
And there's draft picks involved and trades tons of trades.
So that's pretty fun.
And it just so happened to kind of really started getting kicked off and, uh, being coming more popular within the last, I'd say, Gosh, even year or two Max is where I really started hearing some buzz around it, and some of my friends have been involved in it for a year or two now.
And I am just now this year for the very first time getting involved in a dynasty fantasy football league myself.
So I thought it would be fun to kind of discuss the rookies that got drafted in the NFL draft one Thursday and break those down in a 14 team mock NFL draft dynasty fantasy football style where we're just going to touch the first round here.
It would take, you know, hours to really debate and talk about other rounds, and it would be very, very difficult to rank all those players.
That's a task for another day before my fifth dynasty.
Fantasy football draft starts, and I don't want to give away all my secrets.
So, uh, I just kind of broke it down by what I felt were the top 14 player's skill position wise in this draft for the long term.
And I'll preface this by kind of giving you my settings that I'm.
I'm basing all of this off.
Most dynasty drafts that I've come across have been super flex leaks where you can play two quarterbacks.
You can play one quarterback in a flexed position, and so it almost acts like a two quarterback leagues.
Quarterbacks are valued a little bit more highly then they otherwise would be.
But that being said, I've never really been a guy that drafts quarterback super super early.
So I'm not one to overreact in place.
Those quarterbacks at the very, very top, which some people night that being said, I just wanted to give you guys the settings.
I was basing all this ****ysis off that way.
It made a little bit Mawr sense here.
So Super Flex league, almost like a two quarterback league, essentially between you play between two running backs and between two and three wide receivers a week.
You can have some flex players in there as well, where they're running back, slash wide receivers or even slash tight ends.
You can kind of fill any one of those spots in your flex, they call it so I don't want to dumb it down too much because most people that are tuning in tow this that are interested in the topic, know how fantasy football works.
But for the people that might not be involved in fantasy football, I kind of wanted to give you guys heads up as to how those rosters work.
You know, you normally have one quarterback, two running backs, 2 to 3 wide receivers, another 13 flex players where they're either a running back, a wide receiver or a tight, and you can plug any of them in there.
And then, you know, some some leagues play defense, you can have a team defense, but we're not gonna focus on that stuff tonight.
We're going to focus on offense solely, and so that's that.
So I kind of laid the groundwork here.
I am just going to go pick by pick here again picks one through 14 in a dynasty league.
I'm going Teoh rank here.
My number one is going to be Jonathan Taylor, running back that just got drafted out of Wisconsin by the Indianapolis Colts.
Now he will in his first year, have to split time with Marlon Mack.
But Marlon Mack is a free agent after this season, so I fully expect Jonathan Taylor to go in there and compete for that spot right away.
Split backfield, I, I expect.
And then in 2021 hit the ground running and be a three down workhorse.
And he was, by many people's rankings, ranked the top overall back in this class, and he was drafted in the second round, which is high for a running back in today's NFL.
So they have a lot of draft capital tied up in him, and I love, love, love the offensive scheme and minds that Frank Reich and team have around him.
And I think that that system with his running ability will be lethal in the NFL.
And, uh, yeah, Jeremy saying Homer, because I'm a cold stand.
For those of you that don't know, you have a Cowboys jersey on it, Zeke, from a huge high state fan.
So that is why I miss Jersey.
But I am I cold champ And that exam.
I'm not a huge, biased guy.
I tend A, I don't know, super crazy fandom towards any team culture, my favorite team.
But it doesn't ruin my Sundays when they lose.
I'm more so concerned with my fantasy team as most of you that are treating in that our family and friends would know about me.
So that means that Jonathan Taylor is my number one overall.
Dobbins is number two, number one for him.
He is my number two.
I did a Yeah, it is.
Five oclock somewhere, Mom.
In fact, it's, uh, well on the West Coast would be about 5 27 So your clothes on the West Coast But it's taco Tuesday.
You gotta ring it right with a little margarita.
That's why I even had I hope some of you got the come into the scream early enough to catch the music I had playing before.
It was like a mariachi band.
Have a Pandora station.
I highly recommend it by the way for those of you that are interested in Mexican music, it is called regional Mexican Radio Mexicano radio.
So I, uh, I fancy myself some Mexican music.
My wife and I actually went to the Cancun area for our honeymoon, and ever since, I have kind of been hooked on.
I'm not a connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoy it, and it's fun to listen to on occasion.
So, um, well, maybe when this corn beans over, Mom, we can we can read, discuss that.
But at this time, the state has kind of forced our hand.
So, uh, I digress.
I mentioned ah, brief bit ago that J.
Dobbins was my number two back, uh, to overall player.
In fact, in a dynasty fantasy football draft.
Now, most of you tuned in to my stream last week, in which I broke down a film of J. K. Dobbins.
I have a huge Ohio State fan.
I tried to take my bias out of that as much as I could, but I do love him, and he gave us plenty of good memories.
But but I'm not naive to think that he, uh could have some downfalls.
I tend to take that bias out of things when I'm evaluating things.
And we just broke down the film.
I showed you what he was good at.
I showed you a few flaws that he had.
But I really do like his game for the NFL level.
And I think he could succeed and going to Baltimore.
I actually at first I didn't love it.
At first we sat back, I think Jeremy and I or maybe even Josh and I Josh usn as you might see in the, uh, stream here.
And I believe he's going to start history and any minute now.
So if you, uh after I'm done with mine, if you want to catch his stream at Josh USN, go on over there.
I believe he's talking MLB tonight.
Some changes in the MLB that were announced tonight and then I think he's even getting away a free promo for maybe, like a few free months for Spotify music.
So if you're interested in figuring out how you can win a free promo, uh, go check that out.
But that being said, I'm kind of John all over the place tonight Let's try to focus in here.
My number two pick.
If you did not catch my stream on his film well, that I did last week, as I mentioned earlier.
Go check that out.
I really enjoyed it.
I thought it was a fun little exercise.
Had quite a bit of interaction in the chat room in which I enjoy it as well, and you'll see for yourself what kind of running back he could possibly be in the NFL, and I think he went to a very good situation.
Obviously, the Ravens, great front office, almost competitive every single year, had a good young nucleus in place.
Now they do have Mark Ingram as their starter right now, but I think he's He's 30 years old now.
He's getting up that I believe it or not.
That's young for most of us, that that is older.
For an NFL running back, in fact, 30 is the kind of cliff year that a lot of NFL running backs you kind of start to see the decline so it's running back is a position that's a young man's game, and I think J.
Dobbins will immediately start a you know, go ahead and start a split with Mark Ingram right away, and he might not be extremely valuable in Year one, but I think in your too similar to how we discussed with that.
Number one pick, Jonathan Taylor.
Mark Ingram is a free agent after this year, so starting in the 2120 21 season, J.
K Dobbins could really be a three down workhorse and be an elite weapon in that highly productive run offense in Baltimore.
So I love him as the number two overall pick in Dynasty this year.
My number free is a guy that I debated on may be changing to number two, and that is Clyde Edwards Hilaire running back out of L S U who got drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs now you can't go to a much better spot than that.
Andy Reid, head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, is of an absolutely amazing job at producing great high end running back talent, and he's even better at producing those backs that are good in the past game.
It's a layer is actually the best pass catching back in this draft class by far, so he fits into that team beautifully.
And while I think he will probably split time with David Williams there, I do just love the prospect of his past catching ability with a Mahomes. Let offense.
And it's just a match made in heaven for him.
And I could easily see him being number two or number one on some people's boards.
But just the fact that I value Jonathan Taylor and Jake it out and skill set a tiny bit more than him as a as a every down, three down workhorse.
That is why I have those two guys over him.
But I would not fall anybody for, uh, deciding to have CH Climate and fertile Layer as the number one overall Dynasty guy, Jeremy says in the trap.
Do you think he slides in, is the number one or becomes a part of the three headed back with McCoy in Williams? I don't think McCoy will be much of a factor at all.
I honestly, if you're gonna talk about a free headed attack, I would say it's between Darlin Thompson, Damien Williams and Katowice, where, uh, I think it's more so going to be the two guys between Damien Williams, inclined, ever ExcelAire.
Although we've seen this in the past, Damien Williams doesn't have a great track record of staying healthy.
So it could easily be the Clyde adverts later show, you know, And he could be this, you know, workhorse back and just have darlin Thompson spell him at times, so it could easily change drastically.
So where can you imagine David Williams goes down? He's, Ah, what in redraft leagues, even he's probably a top 10 running back, I'd imagine.
Right, And he has to be.
So I just think Andy Reid has such a good track record of producing top in fantasy running backs in the NFL.
I think 12 out of the last 16 years he's produced a running back one which, for those of you that don't know, running back one means like a Top 14 running back.
So there's 14 teams in the league or 12 teams, or however many teams you have in the league, a running back.
One would be running back.
That's in the top, whatever, you know, one through 10 1 through 12 13 14 and, uh, who Swift is number two for us.
Really? That's fascinating to me.
Are you talking about for dynasty fantasy football? Or you just talking about overall your evaluation of the two just overall.
Going into the draft was swift.
Your number two? Or do you still think he's number two in Dynasty fantasy football rankings? I'm very interested in that because he's actually he's that far down my list, but he's maybe I'm lower on him than most are.
I think it's just the fit for him there that I may be down on Swift just because I still, like carry on Johnson there in Detroit.
And, you know, I think that could have a potential plate from behind and be a little bit more past heavy than usual.
Now Swift isn't really good back out of backfield catching the ball, so maybe that increases value, I don't know, but carry ons known about catcher pass catcher either.
So I think maybe I'm just worried because I, like, carry on so much.
And he's still so young that I'm a little worried there that that split is going to be to even for him to really be super predictable.
On a weekend and week out basis.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts West.
So if you get a chance charming in the chat room and let me know if that's you're number two overall coming into the draft or you have him at number two in Dynasty Fantasy rankings.
Like right now, after we know his landing spot, be pretty interested to know your take on that less, Uh, you will see the Andres left in this first round for me, but he is a little bit further down the list.
So let's move on to the number four overall player.
And I'll say this, Jeremy, if you're still here.
We talked about this guy on Saturday during the Stream, and I wasn't giving a ringing endor*****t endor*****t of him.
And I've changed my to.
I have changed my tune.
My number four is CD Lamb.
Wide receiver out of Dallas got drafted by Dallas.
He graduated from Oklahoma.
I've given this some more thought and you said told If I know I've come around, man, I have come around.
There's a lot of weapons in that offense, and it worries me.
And you know how you gonna feed all those mouths.
Uh, the old adage is, you know, there's only one ball.
How you going to distribute it to all these? All these high end guys.
They have a Mark Cooper.
They have Michael Gallup that have CD Lamb.
They have Zeke Elliot defeat, which I'm representing.
I just the more I think about it, man, he is a really good fit.
If they put him in the slot and have gallop on the outside with Cooper, he is going to be able to beat nine out of 10 and slot corner docks in the NFL on a consistent basis.
And there might not be, you know, many balls to go around.
And there might be too many mouths that feed.
Honestly, he will be so open backs gonna have to throw it to him.
I honestly see that to be the case.
I think they're going to be able to scheme plays open now.
If Garrett was still there and he was running the show as the offense a coordinator, I would be a little suspect.
And I will say this if Mike McCarthy comes in and he decides that he wants to start calling a lot of plays and be very involved in the offense.
I'm going to completely change my tune because I liked what Kellen Moore did with that team last year as the offensive coordinator, and he just needs to let him go do his thing and leave it at that.
Mike McCarthy needs to not be involved.
How that headache worked out for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers for several years, where as elite as Rogers has been over his career, he could been even better because McCarthy did not give him many chances to succeed and did not do a great job of Colin plays.
In fact, I hated him calling plays. It is excruciating.
So let's just pray that Kellen Moore is around in the show.
And if he is, I think Ceiling.
I was just such a good fit here, and that is going to be such a high powered offense and you you have to think about it.
I mean, the Eagles have done a little bit of improvement on their defense of side of things, but their defense isn't great.
Washington's defense isn't great that Giants defense is in great.
So all those teams in that division they don't have great defense is so Dallas is gonna be able to eat those guys alive.
Cooper and Land.
We're both going to be 1000 yard receivers, and Elliott will run for 1500 yards because they won't be able to stack the box.
Yeah, that's exactly right.
If anything, I think this does benefit Zeke a lot.
Because while he might not get as many touches, he's gonna have a lot more room to work with.
They're gonna be able to spread out defense's and attack them from everywhere.
So let's just hope that they can keep all these guys healthy.
Because, man, this is a match made in heaven.
And I'm really, really fascinated to see how this offense comes together and is able to create these mismatches against opposing defense is so That was kind of a long winded Number four selection.
There was CD land, but I just wanted Teoh kind of give you props Jeremy, on our discussion on Saturday and tell you that I changed my tune a little bit.
My number five overall player in Dynasty rookie and this is Super Flex.
Keep in mind is Joe Borough and, uh, for a lot of people, he will be higher than this.
But I'm just not of the belief that you need to take a quarterback this early and in Super Flex dynasty there's just so many quarterbacks to be had and they're so similar replaceable.
I just I'm not a huge fan now.
I do like Borough as an NFL prospect, and I think they have actually some pretty talented pieces around him in that Cincinnati offense.
I think he's, you know, going to be able to do well if they're able to protect him with that offensive line.
Next year's draft has Trevor Lawrence in Justin Fields, which are going to go 12 into the 20.
I don't care what happens as long as those guys stay healthy and they don't have any crazy injuries going into the draft.
They're going to be the number one and under up to overall pick.
Whether or not those teams that never wanted to that are scheduled to be the number one and two picks need a quarterback is another story.
But I'm telling you somebody else is going to trade into that number one or number two spot to get one of these guys because these guys are franchised generational type 12 talents.
It's it's amazing that you get these guys in the same draft class.
I don't think we've seen that since the likes of Like Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin came out could be so happy and out with Robert Griffin.
I think you're going to see Fields and Lawrence be even better than that tandem and be one of the top two, uh, like duos of all time.
Honestly, I really like both of them as NFL draft prospects.
And so I would not spend a number one number two number three overall pick on a quarterback this year, given the fact that those two guys will be available for our drafts next year.
And if you really wanted to reach on a quarterback early in a Dynasty league, next year's the year to do it.
So I like Burrow, and I like to, uh, as NFL prospects.
But I like those guys coming out next year even more, and for that, for that reason, I just personally have a preference to go running back wide receiver more so than I do quarterbacks.
And, uh, you know, So I have borough at five, but it's not that low.
I mean, just yes, some people are gonna have him number one overall and more power to you.
That's just not how I like to draft my teams.
And, uh, yeah, that's that's the biggest question with Borough is will the A line.
And since now, to be able to hold up.
They had a terrible offensive line last year, but they also had a talent of injuries going into last year that broke down.
That offensive line is worse than what it waas.
I think they'll get some of these guys back will be better than what we think.
And maybe even some of the guys that they drafted in this year's draft could be contributors.
And maybe they can boost it to where it will be, uh, serviceable.
And I will say this.
What makes Burrough so good is he's able Teoh.
His pocket presence is elite.
He just has an instinct.
He knows he can feel things coming closing in around him.
He knows where to step up. He knows the right pockets.
He knows when the tuck it and start running.
His timing in his manipulation in the pocket is honestly why he was the higher prospect over to other than the fact that he was injured.
But if two it was healthy, I think it would be in actually really, really close call between the two.
But I think Borough has not over to ah, just given his pocket presence in being able to manipulate when the pocket breaks down.
So Borough is my number five overall dynasty pick, and my *** rookie is going to be Jerry Judy.
Denver Bronco now was a former wide receiver out of Alabama, and to me it was really close between C.
Lamb and Jerry Judy coming into the draft as faras overall talent, evaluation and prospect wise.
But see, Liam just landed in a much better spot.
I don't really trust drew Lakas Muchas Some others dio and I worry that there, you know they've stacked that deck so much in Denver that there is going to be a little too many mouths to feed and just too much uncer*****y at the quarterback position to really put him higher.
If he went to a great position like, let's say Judy went to San Francisco like he could, or he somehow fell to the Eagles or Minnesota, which they drafted wide receivers in the first round.
If he went to one of those teams, he'd be right up there.
Uh, it would be a close a battle between CD and Judy as to who is my number four overall.
So those are the reasons I'm not as high on Judy as I thought I would be.
What? Honestly, you can't overrate too much the position in which they go to because A.
Brown ah, year ago was thought of as a pretty, highly touted wide receiver prospect.
But then he went to Tennessee and everybody was freaking out because, you know, they had Marcus Mariota didn't have a great offense and he proved all this wrong.
And there several cir***stances like that.
Sometimes you just kind of have to take talent and ride with it and hope that I get you to where you need to be.
He might not be an instant impact guy in 2020 but I think if they can somehow figure out that quarterback position in the future order lock ends up being better than what we thought.
Then we have something cooking there so Jerry Judy could easily be toward, you know, he could be the number one overall player. For sure.
He has the talent to do so.
But given the landing spot in Denver, I just wasn't as high on him as I thought I was going to be heading into the draft.
Now my number seven guy is another wide receiver out of L s U Justin Jefferson.
He got drafted to the Minnesota Vikings.
Now they lost Stefon Diggs over the off season, and they really only have feeling as a threat in that passing game.
And then maybe some tight and help with Herb Smith and Kyle Rudolph in those guys and endowment cook out of the backfield.
But just in Jefferson fits in really nicely nicely with that team.
In fact, the reason, you know, he was wide open so many times on these deeper out thes post routes and these crossers and everything else ls you did a really good job of scheming him open.
But he is actually very good at getting himself open, and he's very good at contested catches.
He can catch the ball down the field, and the reason I like him in this fit is because they didn't need a wide receiver weapon.
They don't have a whole lot to work with other than Adam Dylan.
And I think his game fits nicely into that play action scheme that they have.
You know, Kirk Cousins, they They're a run heavy team in Minnesota, but they also work that passing game off the play action and him kind of rolling out on those boot legs.
And I could just see you know, Jefferson running the fake out the corner out and heading into the post and running those long, uh, routes over the middle of the field when Kirk Cousins is doing that boot leg.
And I acted, just see him several scenarios in my head, where he just getting wide open and stretching the field and picking up the chunk place so I could easily easily see Justin Jefferson making a huge impact right away, even 2020.
So he might not be as big of ah overall prospect in the long grand scheme of things as Judy and CD Lamb are, but I think he can make an instant impact may be more than anybody else in this class.
And so I like him this year and going forward.
And that's why he is my number seven overall player in a dynasty.
Fantasy football rookie drafts My number eight is Jalen Rieger, another wide receiver out of TCU.
He got drafted to the Eagles.
I think this is a fairly decent fit as well.
I would have liked, maybe seen Jefferson go to the Eagles instead of Rieger.
I think that would have been an absolutely great fit.
But that being said, I do still like readers talent.
I think he has explosive ability after the catch.
I think whence can get him a ball in space and Doug Peterson can figure out ways to get him open there in that offense.
I like that office and offensive scheme.
Doug Peterson is a really smart coach, and I think he can really make a pretty big impact right away, even with the lack of weapons that the Eagles have in that passing game.
And, you know, he just could easily break through in 2020.
And while he might not be similar situation and Jefferson, he's definitely not considered the elite prospect that some of these other guys are.
But I do think he could make an instant impact in 2020 in going forward.
And I think just given the fact that he has a good situation with an offense and he has a good quarterback in ones and ones is pretty young to.
So he's gonna have that nucleus there for a while.
And he could build a good chemistry with once.
And you know who knows what that could build into.
So I like him as my number eight overall player.
Now number nine will make Jeremy and all these other Dolphins fans happy.
And that's to, uh, you would talk about a lot.
I'm not going to say that three times fast, but in a super flex situation, I still like to, uh, I like the culture that they have built in Miami from the ground up, for it has done a great job there so far, and I think they're doing a great work kind of building from the ground up with all these picks they have and, you know, building pieces around him.
They have a decent core as well, passing weapons.
Now they still need to shore up the offense a line a little bit, I think.
And but I think, as Jeremy alluded to in this chat, I don't know how much he'll play this year.
I think given the fact that he is a long term investment and they know that hip injury is lingering, I think they're going to be as careful as they possibly can with him.
And I could see a scenario where Ryan Fitzpatrick does what he does every year finds later, make some sort of relevance out of himself and come out of nowhere and and, uh, play better than what people expect.
I could see a scenario where he just, you know, it is playing well enough to where they keep him in the games and they don't need to, Uh, but I could also see us in everywhere.
Fitzpatrick plays six games and to a comes in and finishes the season.
Who knows that could go either way.
You know you could see him this year, but I just think that they're going to try to be careful with him and that's why in dynasty it's tough to take him because you might be without him for the entire first year.
And if you don't have IR spots injured, reserve or, UH, you know other flex spots where you conflicts in guys for the year in extra empty spots, it's gonna be tough just having that guy sit on your roster for an entire year, not doing anything with him.
But in the long haul, you know, he's that he's a highly touted prospect.
He has been for several years.
I think if it wasn't for this injury, I don't think we see him fall to five.
I think we see the Dolphins or somebody else have to trade up to number two or number three and take two of their because I don't think you last any longer.
I think somebody trades up and takes him in the top three picks, and I think they kind of just got a little fortunate that he had those injury concerns and he was able to follow five to them.
But I love him as a prospect.
I don't think he has an elite arm.
I think there's still some.
There's still some weaknesses in his game.
He's not the biggest guy.
He has a great release.
Quick release, has a strong arm, but not the strongest arm and got some speed.
Can escape the pocket, but he's not you no longer Jackson.
So he hasn't flaws, but I really like him is no role player.
So to me he was by far the second best quarterback prospect in this draft.
And that is why, in a super flex league, I have him as my number nine overall rookie player and over 10.
This is where things start to get interesting.
I have the running back out of all right that got drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Von I have ah on as my number 10 overall rookie prospect for Dynasty leagues.
Keyshawn Bond, he went.
Teoh graduated from Vanderbilt.
And, uh, you know, I just think that fit is pretty well. He's kind of a sleeper.
Sneaky guy that got drafted on Day two, wasn't considered an elite running back prospect, but still was considered by the draft scouts, him and pro experts as a kind of a sneaky guy that had some better skills than what some might give him credit for.
And he went to a great situation.
I mean, he has to compete with Ronald Jones, but he hasn't lived up to what Tampa Bay thought he would be and bonds better in the passing game.
And, you know, I don't know Tom Brady has been.
Maybe it's just been James White is such a good receiving back out of backfield.
The Tom Brady for the last several years has been used to having a running back out of the backfield be able to catch well and so I could see them using him right out of the gate. 2020.
I could see him and redraft leagues being one of the top overall running backs in this rookie class, maybe even Angel, a guy like Swift and maybe even a over a guy like Dobbins.
Maybe in this first year, I could see and redraft how that could play out, and somebody could want to take him that early, just given his situation in his ability to maybe make an instant impact.
So Keyshawn, uh, nothing too special about him.
But he said, he's a nice little back, and he went to a great situation.
In fact, they have stacked the deck for Tom Brady to succeed in it, and they have to win in these next two years, or they're gonna have to really break this thing down and just start all over trade all their assets they have and load up on picks and build this thing from the ground up.
Kind of like the Dolphins have done over the last year.
That's what's gonna have tohave in the Tampa Bay after these couple years are over with Tom Brady of as the quarterback.
Don't, uh, don't sleep too much, Jeremy.
Uh, Can Acres is actually my very next player here, so number 11 can acres.
I I love him as a prospect.
I would have loved him on another team.
I did not love the fact that the Rams did not address that offense and live.
He's also going to be competing, probably a split backfield with Darryl Henderson there.
So I worry about that.
I don't know who has the upper leg as Faras Henderson or acres.
Maybe it's acres, but it could be Henderson, given the fact that he has experienced, I don't know, it's just hard to tell and, you know, Acres didn't have a good offense align in college, and now he's going through a team that doesn't have a great offensive line here in Los Angeles.
And I don't know.
I just don't think the Rams are going to be as competitive as they have been in the past couple of years.
I could see that may be taking a slight step back, which means they're not going to be running of all much and they're gonna be thrown it all over the yard, and golf is gonna have to be hitting guys all over the place.
And Darryl Henderson is a really good pass catcher as well, so it's just I don't know that there's too many unknowns as Faras.
His role, because can't acres is really good pass catcher, too.
So who do they use in that past catching situations? You know, I don't know.
I don't know what the answer is.
And for that reason, although I love him has a prospect.
Just this situation in this team environment is there so many unknowns.
I don't know how to do that with him.
I can see acres getting a lot of the yards and Henderson eating a lot of the shorties.
Yeah, I could see that, too.
And who knows? Acres has that dynamic ability.
He could just break those long runs, and then Anderson would even get that opportunity.
But you just never know.
You never know how these teams evaluate guys.
You would think if they're taking a guy in the second round and can acres that they think pretty highly of them and maybe they don't feel is highly is I think they do of Henderson, or they wouldn't have taken acres that early.
They would have just let Henderson be the lead back and maybe taking a guy later on.
So maybe I'm maybe I'm overthinking things.
Maybe maybe acres should be over von.
They're neck and neck, and I could make the case for both.
In fact, I could make both the case for both of them over Rieger, I think, even with Philadelphia, but I just thought reader might have more of an instant impact than acres would.
And he has a good situation around him with a good offense, and Carson wants to where maybe he'll pan out and be a little safer of a pick.
Now here's the guy that West mentioned as his number two pick and he didn't China in the in the chat.
I'm gonna text him after this.
I'm really fascinated to see what he meant by that cause I have the onerous lift as my number 12 overall rookie prospect in Dynasty football dress.
And I have a feeling I'm gonna be in the minority in this one.
I think Swift is going to be very high on a lot of people's lists, and I just don't trust it.
I just don't trust that I like carry on Johnson too much in that backfield.
I think they have a ton of passing weapons there in Detroit.
I think they're gonna have to pass a lot to keep up with some of these teams.
Green Bay's a good team in the NFC championship game last year.
You know they have the Bears still in division, which I think is a pretty decent team with the Vikings.
No, they took down the Saints in the playoffs.
Last year's well made a made Iran for themselves and I don't know there's just a lot of good teams in that division.
Elijah Defense's in that division, so it's hard for me to see Swift making an instant impact for one.
And so that's what makes it so confusing.
And any other thing is they still have a few years left on Carry on Johnson's rookie deal, and he's still young himself.
Let's see how old carry on Johnson is.
Carry on Johnson.
See how old he is? He's only 22 years old.
That Swift isn't much younger.
Yeah, Swift is 21 so carry ons only a year older than and that's what really worries me.
In Dynasty, you're looking for a guy that either can make an instant impact right away, or you're looking for a guy that has maybe an older veteran as the lead running back.
Now that is due for free agency soon to where you know that that younger guy will take over.
And the fact that carry on is 22 Swift is 21.
And there's just so much similarities carry ons, really good pass catcher.
So is the onerous lift.
Maybe since they had so much capital, maybe that tells me they don't trust Carry on.
He's had injury injuries in the past.
I could easily see slipped, making that lead back run and really making an impact.
But I could also see the flip side, and that's what worries me and dynasty.
You, really you have to take especially early.
You kind of have to be safe with your picks early, and you have to maybe shoot for that upside pick in round 234 in rookie drafts and and pick the guy.
That's a diamond in the rough that nobody really knows about that could maybe make a huge splash or be a huge letdown.
Those are the kind of risks that you make.
But in round one to me, I don't like taking that risk.
And for that reason, I'm not a huge fan of Swift until I can figure out what his value and his riel role is going to be in Detroit, and I just don't think that we're gonna have any clarification on that for several months.
If not, you know, we might have to even find out during the year this year what his role is gonna be.
We have two players left almost down to the, you know, coming down the home stretch here.
Not many players left here to finish out this round one.
My number 13 pick is Henry Rugs.
He was the number one overall wide receiver taken this year out of Alabama.
Got drafted to the Oakland Raiders.
And you know I was gonna do that.
Las Vegas Raiders.
I don't love this it here.
I want the talent.
He's got the ability, like Tyreek Hill to just that speed.
Just a break again.
Wide open has tons and tons of freak athleticism.
To really be able to make a great impact on an NFL team.
Take that next step could easily see it, but that quarterback situation hasn't worried, and I don't love the fit their with their car.
So they have got to do something, shoring up that quarterback situation here very soon.
Jeremy, I don't know if you remember this, but we discussed my hypothetical of Cam Newton, maybe getting signed by Las Vegas Raiders this year to compete for that starting job, another team I completely forgot about.
I could easily see the Broncos making a similar type move where maybe they don't trust Lakas much, but they would trust Cam, and that would make Judy Sutton fans all those guys Melon Gordon, All those crazy weapons that we discussed in Denver that would make things interesting.
Getting can there, That would be really, really nice.
So I'm kind of really like Loki, hoping that that happens.
Chargers could be Yeah, could be very well.
But then again, well, I don't know.
They could signed a one year deal.
They signed a one year deal and then just give it to give the range to Herbert.
I mean, they drafted the guy early, but he'll be better off sitting behind a guy anyways for a year and kind of learning.
So maybe maybe, yeah, maybe the charges are a good team for that one year impact for Cam Newton and maybe then he just go somewhere else.
But I just thought about that Bronco situation yesterday, and I wanted to relay that to you because I thought that was just a very interesting situation that could develop.
And I think we're going to find that out within the next week because these compensation picks after I think Monday's that I think Sunday or Monday is the deadline for compensation picks the start.
Ah, you know if if, if if players don't go somewhere soon that on Monday they're gonna your have a have a compensation pick with one of their players yet had done it before with Manning.
Yeah, Adam Gay skin.
Think Manning for his career.
That's a story for another day.
So we're back to Henry rugs.
That's why he's down towards the bottom here.
I love the town here.
And if they did get a guy like Cam Newton or somebody else a quarterback, maybe they struggled this year or their ableto make some miraculous trade and get Fields or Herber something like that.
Then we're cooking with fire there.
There we are, really, that really makes rugs pretty interesting.
So that is a situation in which he could skyrocket up this board.
But given his quarterback situation currently, that's why Henry Rugs is my number 13 player in this dynasty rookie draft.
Now close out round one with Justin Hurt.
I was trying to figure out clutter way to kind of tease this, but I'm just gonna come out and say it.
Quarterback out of Oregon, those juicy eight or San Diego did again lost Angeles Chargers.
He has some promise in a super flex league.
You know, you feel like you had to kind of include him in this list.
If it was a one quarterback league, I don't even include him.
Just given his physical abilities.
And if Keenan Allen signs long term deal you have keen in there.
You have Mike Williams there.
You have 100 100 Henry there for a longer period of time.
Um, yeah, you're right.
Floods that they should be in seeing you go.
I just crazy to me that we I mean, that's you could have a stream on that entirely.
But I agree they should still be in San Diego.
And then we wouldn't have this issue with mispronouncing the location all the time when I talked about that.
But that being said, Justin Herbert closes out my number 14 pick in the mock draft.
And the reason is just his talent.
And in a super flex league, you never know.
He could it, uh would what? Pittman or memes? Yeah, to me.
Pittman was my next on the list. I'll be honest.
He was my next guy.
Men's would have been high up there as well, but I just hope they're just I don't love that situation with the offense not totally sold on San Donald.
I know he's still young.
They have Adam Gaze.
So you know you can't trust them this year in 2020.
There's just a lot of things I'm not too keen on as to why I wouldn't have had memes in this top.
But Pittman was definitely in consideration there.
But given the fact that it was a super flex league, I just felt like Herbert might be a guy that a lot of people probably value higher than Ideo.
And I felt like he would be the safe option to fit in at 14.
Do I like Pittman more than that? Herber Ideo If it was my team, you know, maybe looking back on this, I I would pick Pittman.
But I've never played in a Super Flex league before.
You have you drafted teams.
We just talked about this earlier, so I don't know how how highly valued these rookie quarterbacks are going to be.
I just kind of made the assumption that the I mean he got taken sixth overall.
Los Los Angeles is going to give him a shot to start if it's not after the 1st 6 games of this year, it will be, you know, hitting the ground running in year two.
And with all those Levin's behind him, if Keenan Allen comes back, he's gonna have some good, good skill guys to really boost his value.
And if he can learn behind Tyrod or whoever it is, maybe Cam Newton in this first year.
Maybe he picks up some things that he makes some some pretty big improvements because he's got the physical abilities to make this happen.
But he just got improved, that pocket presence and being able to throw over the middle when he has pressure in space.
He's really not great at that.
Throws off his back foot a lot, doesn't make great decisions, kind of forces and balls in there that shouldn't be thrown.
And, uh, so I wasn't a huge fan like to me.
I think to, uh in Borough were much higher on my quarterback list than Herbert going into the draft.
But that's just my two cents, so that's why I put him at 14.
I could see the argument on Pittman, you know, maybe in a month or so we talk about this.
Pittman's my guy.
Maybe I changed mine stated.
But for the time being, in a super flex format, I thought Herbert would be the better pick in that first round to kind of shore up a quarterback needy team.
So let's just hurry up rapid fire through this just to give you guys a little recap.
I want Jonathan Taylor with my number one overall pick.
Dobbins, my number two overall pick.
Edwards Holender has my number three overall pick CD Lamb as my number four overall pick.
Joe Borough as my number five.
Jerry Judy, My Number six. Justin Jefferson.
Jalen Rieger number eight to, UH, Number nine.
Number 10 Can Acres number 11.
DeAndre Swift number 12 Henry Rugs number 13 and Justin Herbert rounding out that super flex dynasty fantasy football around one mock draft.
So I feel like I've gone on long enough, thank you guys for joining me and thank you, Jeremy, for constantly giving me some things to think about in some items to add in a chat I am greatly appreciative of that makes the discussion a little bit more fun here to be had and the debates Teoh keep going on, so I'm sure these rankings will change.
I'll probably do another rankings list as it gets closer to the season, but as of now, that's my initial ranking.
And like I said, it'll probably change in a month or so.
So stay tuned for that, thank you guys for tuning into tonight's stream.
And, uh, that being said, uh, tomorrow I will be discussing the new MLB changes that took place tonight.
I will tease that by not getting you giving it away as to what those changes might be.
But there are talks and rumors as to how maybe the MLB could start their season sooner than we hope.
Let's hope that plan can go through and all the logistics work out.
And I will be discussing that tomorrow, probably going early tomorrow, because I have to appear on a podcast for the fancy coaches podcast, fantasy football.
We're gonna be breaking all this down again that will be released on Thursday, but we're recording it tomorrow night, so that being said, we're going to probably do this stream early on, maybe about 4 35 Eastern tomorrow and I might have a special guest on here for a short little discussion on that MLB talk.
So that being said, if Josh USN is still doing history, make sure you guys are going on and checking out that out.
Hell, even if you're not, go over there.
Check that out because he's doing a free promo for three months of Spotify music that he is paying for four.
I want to see what the terms and conditions are by listening to his stream briefly.
So I'm sure it will break that all down in the street and go check that out.
If you're interested in wedding free stuff, I'm sure you are.
That being said, I have gone on long enough.
I appreciate you guys tuning in.
Have a good Tuesday.
