Wait, get it? Thanks to get Oh, my gosh.
We have a sporting event that is Riel, and we get to talk about it and watch together tonight.
All right, So I will just give the caveat here that I have been not up to speed on anything that has gone on in the last two hours.
So if I misspeak about something, all right, Miss something drastic would have assumed that I would have gotten an alert on my phone here.
So I'm kind of just I'm going to assume that nothing drastic has happened thus far in the very recent past and that everything is stashed close.
So that being said, let's go ahead and discuss the actual draft order And believe it or not, Gosh, you would not believe how many fictitious draft order Icahn's there are online.
Guys, I can't believe it's nothing crazy.
It sounds like Redskins aren't considering trades at two anymore.
They have their guy Well, yeah, it's James Young.
So if they take anybody else but him, I will be shocked.
I will say this before we get into all these last minute rumors and everything got.
You have to be careful with what you take in.
At this point, you have to be cautious and all the reports that you're hearing these teams are playing mind games of other teams.
They're leading other teams to believe that they're interested in a certain prospect or a certain position.
So their draft slot seems more valuable, so that can, uh, encourage trades except etcetera.
So those some of the rumors are, in fact true.
But some are just not worth your time to pay attention to and give it too much credence.
Yes, this is your room, rock new location for the stream tonight.
So I'll keep the stream as quick as we possibly can because I do not want to eat into the draft at all.
This is probably going to be over around 7 50 ish.
If I had to guess so we obviously know that Joe Burrows going one right? I mean, it's pretty obvious he's going to go to the Bangles.
That dolphins apparently have been making crazy trade offers and even attempts at other trades in order to produce a better trading package to move up to the number one spot to entice the Bangles to get up that spot and moved down.
But the Bangles air not biting.
From what I've read, it sounds like they have already even acknowledged and given Joe Borough the heads up, that he is the number one pick.
So it's kind of frustrating because everyone already really knows what's going on.
But it's been a while that I I can't really remember the last time that the number one overall pick wasn't a huge surprise.
It's been a really long time.
In fact, you know there are some massive surprises as faras trades and which players air taken here and there.
But as far as the number one overall pick, it hasn't been a surprise for as long as I can remember honestly.
So I thought that was just something to note.
Sounds like Joe Borough is definitely going to be the number one pick.
We kind of knew that Joe, exotic as they're already making shirts and everything, comparing him to the title king so all those rumors can go to the wayside.
Number one pick is a formality at this point in the big thing to watch out for.
I think that very first down Newt.
If all is going to be which quarterback is taken first, is it Herbert? Is it to, uh well, how do teams view them? You know how certain draft experts see these prospects, but especially given the fact that everything's being done remotely and ah, good point that I read recently is that you know, a lot of these times when the combine happens and all these pro days happen and thes scouts can come together interview these players the way that they normally would really fly them in for team meetings.
Since all that stuff is coming on to the wayside, it could impact like mindedness, for instance, uh, certain players certain that that and hit it certain attributes.
Certain teams fall in love with them, and then they hang out with other scouts and other teams.
And there's a lot of like mindedness that goes on when all those guys were hanging out all the time.
But now that we've had this Corona virus stuff, impact everything and there's been distancing no team meetings, you know, in person it's all been done.
Virtually that could sway some things because maybe we don't get those may.
Maybe certain teams aren't able to talk to other teams and change their mind.
You would think that it wouldn't change minds too much and that everybody thinks for themselves.
But let's be honest.
The NFL is a copycat lead in several areas.
Offenses get copied all the time.
Defense's schemes get copied all the time.
So there are copycats out there, and there are people that don't really think for themselves as much as they probably should.
And so you get that element where a lot of teams are feeding off of the same opinions on certain players.
So be interested to see if that changes things the way they might be predicting.
I've also heard so the next dominant, if all is it sounds like maybe this is just rumors again.
Can't really take too much credence on what the rumors are at the very last minute.
But sounds like Detroit is willing to move back there in the number three spot currently.
If I were then I just take Jeff a Cuda, move on and, you know, get a lock down corner for several years and get one of the best defensive prospects in this draft, If Chase Young wasn't in this draft, he would be the number one overall selection on the defense side of things, either.
Hammer Isaiah Simmons since you know those three guys really separate themselves from everybody else, but so that's the other thing to pay attention to.
I've also read rumors that Jacksonville might be looking to move up from the back half of the single digits towards the top, so Detroit might be a landing spot at that number.
34 Jacksonville's well, so look out for that.
It doesn't sound like like landed mentioned in the chapter in sound like Washington's moving from that pick.
So probably Joe Borough Chase Young Automatic 12 and then three is where come becomes interesting.
Do the Dolphins trade up from the five spot? Do the Chargers trade up from the six spot? Do one of those teams really like a quarterback enough to move up to 23 spots it and sound like a lot.
But if you want your guy and you feel like they have separated themselves from anybody else, that's your franchise.
There's question marks surrounding a lot of guys that in the quarterback position is very difficult to evaluate, but you kind of have to take shots on these guys.
I just hope it works out.
So I would not shock me one bit if Miami moves up at all.
It wouldn't shock me at all if the Chargers try to move up and take her or to jump ahead of Miami because they know they're kind of competing.
Both of those teams are really competing five and six at who takes the quarterback that they want.
So be very interested to see the chess game between those two teams, in particular in the top 10 and then you move on from there.
The next story line is probably When is the first wide receiver ago? Is it? It's probably going to be Judy.
It's definitely going to be Judy or Lamb.
I would guess Henry rugs, maybe just because of his freak athleticism and speed.
But it's probably going to be one of those top two guys.
So do any of those guys go in the top 10? This wide receiver class, as we discussed earlier this week, is absolutely loaded, very similar to that 2014 class with O.
B J and all those other guys that came out that that year.
I mean, I'm not kidding.
This is probably this wide receiver classes, probably 10 to 15 guys deep.
That could easily make an impact that they go to the right scheme.
And let's be honest, The reason that the NFL draft it's so interesting is the NFL is one of the very few sports that almost every position, especially on the offensive side of things, depends on where you go wide receivers.
You depend on who your quarterback is. Quarterbacks.
You depend on what kind of wide receivers you get.
Do they create separation? Are they? Are they reliable running backs? You depend a little, you know, mostly on your line and the scheme that teamed him.
Work around your your all dependent on the offense and coordinator and how they can scheme certain place.
You can't just that expect all the guys that went one on one coverage all the time and beat their man.
You have to scheme certain place to get guys and certain advantages over the defense.
So football more than any other sport to me, everything is dependent on where you go in and everybody else around you.
And so that's what makes it so fascinating.
You can love a lot of these guys from a talent perspective coming into the draft, but it really does depend on where they dio in that their cir***stances surrounding them and the players surrounding them and the coaching staff surrounding them.
So a lot is dependent upon where these players air going and whether it's a good fit so that that's what makes all these draft picks kind of coin flips.
I mean, I hate to say it like that, cause it's not mean other guys honestly separate themselves from others.
But you get my point.
Let's see here a lot of my any talk of a chat Miami Taken to, uh, blowing smoke out there, it wouldn't surprise me.
You know how there was that report that to team doctors said specifically that they were very worried about two hours long term injury history with his hip.
They were not willing to take him at the top half of the draft bomb about.
I bet one of those coaching staffs were the Dolphins or the Chargers wanting to take him and just blowing smoke and making up these false rumors so that he that they felt to him or heck, maybe even some of the teams towards the back end like Jacksonville a nine or or whatever you wanna call it, it would not shock me if one of those other teams past the 89 slot were there.
Doctors were the ones that were making up all these rumors because, you know, that's just how it is.
It's Ah, it's definitely a chess game, a poker game at their point, with each other, fins taking a tackle and then Jordan love with the 26th.
Wow, Wow, that would be interesting.
I am of the belief that they're not going to do that.
I think that whole offense aligning, talk in getting a guy later on.
That just doesn't seem like the way that they're going to go now.
I could be wrong if they don't love to A.
They don't love Herbert than that's definitely the move to make you get a guy like worths.
Tristen works or one of those guys top in guys to solidify our offense line and then you go get your diet.
What do they have 18 and 26.
I believe the two other picks they have so very well could happen.
But for some reason I'm just feeling like, honestly, I think the top three quarterbacks are gone in the top 66 That's my prediction.
I know it's not, You know, I'm not groundbreaking ****ysis or anything.
I'm not really jumping out on a limb there, but it would not shock me to see three quarterbacks taken in the top six very interested to see where those wide receivers go as we discuss this deep class and then I'm also interested to see who, if anyone in the first round takes a shot at one of these elites top 3 to 5 running backs in this class.
The top and running backs are very, very, very solid in this draft, but it kind of drops off a cliff.
But with how the NFL has kind of diminished the position overall, I just wonder if any of these guys sneak in the first round and yeah, or we have the way told day to day, you don't see a running back taken, so those are the types of things I'm looking out for and then you know any other types of trades.
Obviously, what's gonna make this so interesting is that none of us really know what's going on.
And we haven't been having all these team meetings and everything, So we're kind of just relying on a ton of rumors and sources that are out there feeding this information to the journalists.
And so we really don't know.
And I really just hope this draft experience isn't ruined by technical difficulties.
I have had terrible troubles with technology myself, just with e strings and everything else over these past 2 to 3 weeks.
So I can imagine trying to get over 30 teens with all the representatives to follow the same protocol than not have any technical glitches on 80 bunnies, WiFi or anything like that.
I just have a feeling that we're gonna have some messed up feeds, and maybe some teams go past their time.
That's allotted for them. I don't know.
I'm just trying to go into this with tempered expectations.
If it all goes smoothly than hey, this is a great draft experience.
We don't have much look forward to now sports.
This is the day this is the event.
We've been waiting for this for probably 23 weeks.
There's been tons of mock drafts.
Everything's starting to heat up with all this current virus stuff.
We don't have anything else to look forward, too, so I'm very, very much looking forward to this.
The other thing I want to mention before I sign off, I'm a cold stare.
They don't have a first round pick if they traded it for the Buckner defensive lineman from 40 Niners.
But I'd be interested to see if they have their eye on a quarterback as well that they might try to trade from the top end of the second round into the first round and look out for some other teams that at the top end of the second round, to do that to maybe they like their guy.
Maybe the top three guys air taken or maybe somebody falls and we don't expect it and they trade up on give up a lot to move into the first round.
So take a look out for all that stuff.
That's just about all I have.
I don't have any other crazy rumors going around.
I haven't read anything so I guess we'll just see.
I don't think anything in this draft is going to shock me as much as Gronk coming back and join in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
So we're already off to a good start this week.
Hopefully, the draft doesn't disappoint, and we can all look back on this tomorrow and really talk about how awesome awesome oven experience this Waas that we got to witness together in these crazy times and bring us some entertainment.
So not just about does it for the stream.
Enjoy the draft, guys.
I'll be texting with some of you guys and getting your feedback.
I also think I might tryto appear on Steve Pinto Oddo's feed here.
Soon his stream is going live.
He's actually in the chat.
You see Coach Stephen us and he's live stream in this almost entire draft, and he's a huge Dolphins fan, so and they have three picks in the first round, so that's very brave of him to be streaming this whole time on his favorite teams making all these pics.
I'm pretty interested to see what his reaction would be all of this, but I think I'm gonna hobble in there with him here shortly.
So if you have a bit of extra time or you enjoy these types of things and enjoy the debate back and forth between people, join his feed here after eight o'clock when I joined.
And it'll be a fun little discussion.
That being said, Let's get out of here.
Let's enjoy this night together.
Hopefully everything goes safe again.
Cheers, My friends.
Thank you for joining me.
I will probably be back early tomorrow evening to get a little recap of Day One in the NFL draft.
So that being said, I appreciate you all have a good night.
