everybody. Welcome back.
Be from unwrap sports here to do my NFL Offseason Overview Episode 10.
It's a SportsCastr Siri's.
I started to kind of, you know, keep up with everything that's going on.
The NFL, the NFL draft, anything offseason related.
Uh, it might go on longer than I expected, considering what's going on.
Sorry, considering what's going on with the pandemic.
You know, we could be in the offseason kind of, ah, protocol longer.
So that will be interesting to see how that turns out so again with NFL season overview basically, you know, taking a look at what's going around the league.
You know, they'll be more frequent episodes just cause things are starting kind of heat up, especially with the draft I'm considering possibly doing going live during the draft.
At some point, it kind of recap what's been going on and kind of watch it live as well.
That's figure out how to get that on my screen as well, so we'll keep an eye on that, Uh, but let's just go ahead and jump right in So ever so 10 Episode nine And I talked about how Jaguars running back Leonard for Never got some headlines going with his comment on you know, Hey, let's spring Cam Newton and let's get a competition going.
Let's put the best team we can out there.
And unfortunately for him, it kind of ah blew up in his face and, you know, maybe that's what he wanted to do.
I know a lot of Jaguars.
The veteran players don't want to be there with the way the team is blowing up after their Saxon ville, uh, Cinderella season.
So, um, you know, Jaguars have now kind of put him up as a player that can be discussed that they are interested in kind of possibly moving if the price is right.
I don't think Leonard Fournette is going to be a Jaguar by the end of the draft.
I think they're going to kind of undersell him.
Someone's gonna get him for, like, 1/3 or fourth round pig.
Uh, you know, so, you know, this past season, he proved a lot with the way he rushed the ball the way he caught passes out of the backfield.
So, you know, he's a quality talent giving up 1/3 4th 2nd if you want.
You know, everybody out in the bidding war.
You're getting a running back that, you know, has the ability to still to be very much effective in your running in passing game.
So, uh, worth keeping an eye on step fizzle.
Thank you for joining the stream.
I very much appreciate it.
And, you know, even though his comments though innocent, you know, kind of rub people the wrong way, And I get it, you know, these air kind of comments that I personally wouldn't make if I was in his position.
Just, you know, you don't want to even bring up that kind of negative connotation or what it could ultimately mean or what you're trying to say.
So that is interesting for him.
But again, I think he might have been trying to get out of there himself.
Thank you for joining the stream.
Uh, gonna be interesting to see who would be interested in getting for Nan.
Uh, as a Steeler fan.
Could I see them giving up 1/3 or fourth? Well, they have 1/3.
1/4 for Leonard.
I could You know, we have to fourth round picks that you know that's what the kind of bargaining area starts had.
It seems like they're kind of having, like, a fire so attitude for for the other players, for not being one of the better ones out of the ones that have been traded, in my opinion.
But, yeah, I definitely think for net will be in a new uniform.
And I think he, you know, is worthy contributor to, you know, most offenses you plug him into so interesting to see what happens there.
Jaguars defensive end, Janek and Gac way has had a very interesting exchange with co owner of the Jaguars on Twitter.
I'm gonna pull that up right now.
It was definitely, very, you know, interesting to say the least, as I was kinda strong Twitter last week.
You know, Janek has made it very clear he doesn't want to be in Jacksonville, you know, he was franchise tag, you know, he has definitely earned himself a big payday, but he doesn't want that payday to be from Jacksonville.
You know, he was a very He was a great contributor to that.
It has, you know, been a consistent presence.
Definitely one of the D League's dominant young talents.
So you know, Yonica N'gog ways would be, you know, you would get a pretty penny from ah, trade, um, involving him.
But let me pull that.
We pull the the conversation because it was definitely a doozy and definitely one of those you know.
Not No, not really.
Coming back from it s a Janek actually tags Tony Khan on Twitter.
He says stop hiding mo.
Okay, Uh, four minutes later, Tony contracts and back.
I'm not in hiding, sir.
You know, it's never good when someone says sir on It's not been referenced before.
I'm in isolation, Getting ready for the draft.
I've been pretty active on social media and isolation, but you wouldn't know that since you unfollowed me parentheses again.
Ah, unit responds three minutes later.
Since you're feeling my today, let's both let the world in on the truth.
We've been had a discussion that the Chargers game with my last game, that you tried to backdoor the situation without answering any of my camps.
Calls shake my head, you spoiled bra holding up people for no reason.
So you know what I think in God who is not going to be a Jaguar either before this draft is over.
But if I was the Jaguars, you just kind of got to get him out of there.
Kind of like the Stefon Diggs situation with the Minnesota Vikings where you know the talent is there.
He's a great person you wanna have in that locker room, but he's just so disgruntled.
Just get him out of there.
You'll get a lot of value from God, way of pass rusher A to his age with his, you know, production you're gonna get You know, you could if you play your cards, right.
Kind of King's ransom for the right, you know, team.
So, you know, if the Jaguars were trying to go all in on a rebuild, You know, guy, get rid of for net.
You kind of get rid of and got away.
Well, yeah, I definitely see both of them.
It's not at least one gone by the end of day one.
Best Thank you for joining the stream.
I mean, forget that shouldn't be a follow. Very much.
Appreciate that on And then in other rumors in the NFL, uh, Redskins offensive lineman Trent Williams wasn't suited up for them in over a year, eyes in discussions to be moved.
I think they just are gonna try to get whatever value they can and just kind of flipping first draft capital.
There's no use having somebody like that on your team anymore.
I think he could still contribute.
I just don't think he will willingly contribute to your team and for everybody.
That's saying, Oh, he failed a physical.
You know, he's a risk if you look at the notes.
He basically said that he's not comfortable with the helmet S ou know.
Obviously, he can't pass a physical for that, you know, for that little part.
So you know, people kind of like to run a narrative or if they don't do the research, they can kind of run off and, you know, make something seems so much worse when in reality, you know, Trent Williams was very upset with the training staff of the Redskins for, you know, not taking a growth that could have been a tumor.
I believe on his head seriously and kind of said, Oh, no, it's nothing.
That will be fine.
And then when he got some outside help and found out that it could have been something really detrimental to his health.
You know, he took that as all right.
This team, this organization does not have the best interests warming.
So I refused to suit up for them.
I refused toe put my body at risk for this team, and I offer one, you know, don't blame.
Um you know, I haven't been the biggest fan of the Jay Gruden regime out in Washington.
You know, he did ultimately get fired.
So now it's the run Vera era.
I don't think Rivera just being there can ultimately change Trent Williams his mind.
I think Williams will be a move for the Redskins.
And I think Ron Vera will kind of want to just build his team up from the ground up again and kind of established, see what they can do.
Ah, And then, in the final note of rumors, cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have had some positive contract talks.
That's great to hear.
You ultimately just want to get this done.
You know, ultimately, you know, you weren't willing to pay Byron Jones.
So you know you got money to give to Dak.
I am on the wagon of you don't pay that that kind of money.
I don't think he's necessarily earned that.
This is like I know I'm gonna sound like a hater, but I just don't think Dak Prescott has done enough to warrant even being in the top five of quarterback contracts.
I know what that is, you know, slightly saturated.
As you know, you got Jared Goff in there who, you know, had a very rough season this past year.
But I just don't think the Cowboys should be investing that much in decked yet.
You know, if Dad wants to do the one year deal and kind of say, like, show me the give me a shot, you know, better myself, which I don't think the Cowboys we would give him a chance to do.
Um, I think, you know, don't get the deal done.
But in my opinion, overpaid for a quarterback that has not met expectations to be in that, uh, bracket of income.
And now we're moving on two news.
So for everybody who you know, has any sort of full sports app on their phone.
You heard about this tight end Rob Gronkowski from patriots has come out of retirement with interest of playing with Tom Brady, who is now ah, part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And the Patriots, you know, agree to, you know, facilitate the trade.
So Rob Gronkowski was traded for 1/4 round pig.
Uh, so it was him Patriots seventh round pick for 1/4 round pick from the book and years.
And I know a lot of people, especially fans I saw on Twitter were saying, Oh, you know, we got that was that That was a horrible deal.
Why would Why would the Pats do that? You could get so much more value for Gronk.
Here's the bottom line on that.
You are getting 1/4 round pick for a player that was not going to suit up for you if Brady wasn't on the Patriots, and I've seen a lot of reports of Rob wanted, you know, you know, be a part of Ah, another Tom Brady offense didn't want to play for anybody else.
Like he famously, uh, told Belichick if you trade me to the lines on retiring like I'm not gonna let that happen, I'm only in the catch passes for Brady and you know, Brady and Gronk have allegedly had some discussions where, you know, they were, you know, planning on possibly reuniting at some point down the line.
And, you know, Gronk finally came out and said, Yeah, let's do it.
And to me, that's such a great move for the bucks.
I think, you know.
Yeah, you're giving up 1/4 round pick.
But, you know, Gronkowski familiarity with Brady.
You know, both teams, I think, get the value that they deserve for these picks.
You know, obviously you want to get a higher pick, but again, you're in 1/4 round pick for 1/7 round pick and a player that was not going to suit up for you this year.
So you gotta look at it as what it is per situation, Not exactly what it is in terms of.
You know what he is is a player because I think he's gonna actually perform well, you know, two seasons.
So which I also know he has lost a bit of weight, so he'll be, uh, probably not as much of, ah, heavy run blocker as you know he was before.
But you know those cuts Are you gonna be sharper now, so that would be something to look at.
Black, orange and blonde.
Thank you for joining the Stream.
Let's see the next bit of news.
Tight end Trey Burton was recently released by the Chicago Bears.
Has agreed to terms with Colts.
I personally love the move.
I still believe her and can be productive as long as he stays healthy.
That's why I was very surprised with the Bears.
Kind of moving on the Jim Graham.
I thought that was just insane, considering, you know, Burton was, you know, a very good talent when Travis Key was showing some signs of, ah, of possible, you know, Great.
I'm blanking out right now when he showed flashes of being a great quarterback two seasons ago.
So interesting there.
I love the move there for the Colts.
You know, they rebounded with Eric.
Iran had a great year with him, and then a pretty, you know, lower tier solid year the following year.
So interested to see how Burton is gonna be incorporated with this team? You know, Philip Rivers, you know, had a very good repertoire with this tight ends with Antonio Gates and Hunter Henry so, you know, given him to eject Oil and Burton.
I think that ultimately bowled well for their offense.
I haven't done an assumption as to how that team is going to do.
Kind of waiting on doing those after the draft, obviously.
And then when we kind of get closer to the regular season, I'm gonna be doing kind of my predictions weeks a week.
On what player? What teams air gonna ultimately win.
Um, so love the movie, the Colts? You know, I don't think your I don't believe the contract was for anything, major.
So probably a show me type of contract that I think Trey Burke and ultimately makes culture look good and, uh, kind of gets back to his old, uh, performances with the Chicago Bears.
Now, for the last part of this stream were talking.
The draft unwrap sports mark draft happened this past weekend, and, you know, it's funny that, you know, we started that this year and the NFL do you know everything going on in the world is now doing an online live draft, and it's ah, they have had some issues with communication, a lack draft, uh, I'm not exactly sure the format yet I'm sure we're gonna get some or informed that soon, But it sounds like you know, there's gonna be some sort of, ah ability for the coaches and the war rooms to maybe speak on the stream or however they're going to broadcasted.
So that will be interesting to kind of see how that works out.
You know, we've seen our version of it on unwrapped where, you know, we're all kind of sending pics and doing it as close of the NFL draft room with me.
Kind of getting in and out of the shot to, you know, announce the draft picks.
So definitely interested in how that's gonna turn out.
I'm going to be possibly streaming tomorrow during the draft at some point to kind of get my reactions kind of give some more in depth on certain players.
And I think I like the movie.
I think it makes sense if I think it was a reach, you know, I'll definitely be here tomorrow.
Teoh, give me a following a tune in for that.
Uh, so we're gonna just talk about some rumors before we go and then the score had a Nordic or they talked about seven takes that they think could happen in the draft.
And I'm gonna read him and see what I think is actually realistic.
Dolphins are interested in moving up to the number three spot to get an offensive tackle, but they still want to keep their five.
So to me, I don't necessarily believe that they're going to get, uh, the third pick just to draft an offensive tackle.
I think that will ultimately be to, uh, I think the Dolphins have kind of seen, you know, the way other teams have kind of started getting interested in.
Ah, possibly making a move for two.
As you know, the Lions, you know, are in a position where they can move back.
That'll be interesting Giants as well.
That would be interesting to see how that works out, but I think Dolphins go 32 up and five interesting words from Iowa's.
I think that's the best offensive tackle in the draft, so I think that's what the Dolphins plan is.
I don't see them just getting an offensive tackle, letting a pit go and then five.
You don't know what could happen with the fourth pick.
I think that's too much ambiguity there.
So I think they're gonna ultimately move up and make sure that they can secure to us because, you know, like I reported on episode nine, you know, they rushed to try to get another meeting with two of prior to the pandemic.
You know, travel bans.
So I think two is gonna all but surely gonna be a dolphin unless something else happens.
Which, you know, there's a lot of rumors that, you know are just smokescreens, and we don't really know what could really be going on.
Excuse me? You think Broncos are interested in moving up to the eighth or 10th pick? Early reports show that they're saying that Jerry Judy's their guy.
Aziz, you've maybe heard on some of my streams CD Lamma.
So I think the Bronco should ultimately go for I think that is their guy.
But, you know, Judy, I think, is a great town.
I think he's the better of the Alabama duo.
Definitely far superior in terms of what his intangibles could be for the draft moving forward.
So that will be interesting to see what happens there not your stepping stone.
Thank you for joining Stream.
I definitely think the Broncos make that move again.
Withdrew Lock era.
I'm all in on them.
I have, ah, Cinderella team or ah, or a team that you know, Not that I root for, but the team that I think is gonna make a big splash every year.
I was correct to use with the Jaguars.
I was incorrect this past season with the Broncos.
I think the Broncos this time are it.
Uh, as of right now, I have made my official announcement on that, but all come out in writing articles as well as make a stream about that.
So keep an eye out for that.
But I think broncos make their move.
Whether it be for Judy or Lamb, Uh, they're gonna get Drew Lock his future number one guy.
Uh, and that's no knock to Courtland.
Sudden, I just think these two players have an opportunity to really be something special, long term and sudden is a great option, as he is now.
But him settling for a number to roll, I think benefits him long term anyways, so Well, I'll get into that a little bit more in deaf as I move forward in the season, Falcons have actually tried to trade for the number two pick.
Obviously, Chase Young looks to be the target there.
And I I would love if they could do that kind of shake up the drab, make that kind of interesting Redskins have.
You know, some needs to kind of address on the offensive line.
Defensive line defense is the whole, So interesting to see what happens there on Cardinals.
Panthers are both willing to trade out of the top 10.
So that will be interesting as well.
Curious to see what happens there.
As you know, Cardinals.
Like in the mock draft that I discussed in a previous stream.
You know, we're able to move back and still at, you know, good offensive line piece in my opinion.
You know, we got to revamp their defense.
Can they flip that against some more draft capital to kind of build that defense? Kind of get it young and, you know, start fresh with Matt rules.
So that is going to be something that you know, I think one of those two teams could ultimately make trade.
That's definitely very much a realistic possibility.
But let me go to those seven takes.
So this is from the score.
I just caught my eye because, you know, it's interesting to see you know what some of the takes are for.
You know what could happen.
So it's seven realistic predictions for the 2020 NFL draft.
Herbert becomes second quarterback drafted.
This could happen.
I've always thought that it was a possibility, especially after to hurt his hip.
You don't necessarily know, you know, You see that? He looks good, you know, in shorts, you know, throwing the ball around things look good.
A looks a little tired here and there.
But, you know, so much of that could be put on to what's going on with his with his hip recovery.
But I wouldn't be that surprised of team moves up for Herbert.
Uh, I'm not that I am him.
I don't have him as the number two guy.
But you know, if if, you know, maybe the dolphins move up and they're concerned about to Ah, you know, could they possibly go with Herbert and kind of make him the number two very don't think that's out of the out of the room of possibility for sure.
Running backs get shut out in round One is that could happen.
I don't think it will.
The Jaguars trade landed for net.
DeAndre Swift, I think could be off the board or possibly going to the Chiefs at 32 if they don't go safety your corn or something like that.
Patriots find a little, uh, Patriots.
See true love, Possibly moving up to 23rd to get move up from number 23 to get Jordan love.
I wouldn't be surprised with that at all.
You know of patriots, you know, make a move for love.
If Bela chick thinks that he can, you know, ultimately built another long term, you know, run with, you know, Jordan love and what he brings to the table.
Uh, that would be interesting to look at.
I think the patriots are going to do something to get love.
So moving up to get him in the first round would not be surprised that all our coup three Thanks for joining stream.
I appreciate it on Jaguars.
Blow up what's left.
I said that earlier.
Very high possibility just to kind of, you know, start fresh and kind of build a new culture there.
Panthers trade down from top 10.
I said that also earlier, very realistic to me.
Try to kind of add more draft capital, build this mat roll defense fresh.
Now this one I hope, will come true.
I don't think it will come true, but Jalen hurts Sneaks.
It's around one.
I'm saying that because I actually want Gillard's to be drafted by the Steelers in the second and third around somehow and, you know, see was ultimately grooming him for the future.
So I think you know what? Jalen hurts his main knocks of him only looking at one of the most two reads and then, you know, going off and running kind of something that I think Ben Wallace's Burger did a lot earlier in his career when he kind of looked up one read and then just start running.
Start kind of moving around the pocket.
I think you know, Ben could be great for him and in terms of, you know, to religion what he can offer him in terms of, you know, mentorship and open A said, you know, Hey like that.
You know when When Mason went off the tracks that he was like, Hey, why are we doing this? I only have so much of the time left.
Why are we going all in? I know he'd be upset about that, but clearly we saw this past season as I'm a Steelers fan myself, what life after Ben could look like.
And I don't like to normally kind of give out a judgment based on, you know, short stand, you know, of kind of coming off the bench and being the guy for Mason, Rudolph and Doug Rogers.
But neither of them are really starting quarterback caliber.
At least they haven't shown that to me at all, Really.
You know, the offense is kind of not dumbed down, but made rather simple to kind of keep the team going.
And even though the team are Mel's, you know, could have had a shot at a playoff spot.
A lot of that could be contributed more to the defense than what? The offense that because the often struggled mightily.
I mean, I did it on the state of Steelers Episode one.
I talked about how Jujubes numbers drastically dropped when he came with Rudolph and Duck. Hodges.
So that is something to keep an eye on.
And I hope Hurts is in Pittsburgh.
Before Day two was over.
Jerry Jones. I had enough of you messing around.
Get that contract extension done.
I mean, come on, man.
Like it's it's taken way too long.
You don't want to leak into the draft, help they announce it before the draft, just so g m's could just kind of focus on what they have at hand.
Jared got up here and I can't get Can't What? An embarrassment.
I mean, honestly, I think Dak has been asking for a little too much, I think when they offered the 30 mil up front and I think that would have been definitely justifiable, I think Dad's just tryingto maneuver himself, you know, try to get himself paid.
Can't hate on that at all.
You know, You know, we would all try to get, you know, uh, substantial raise ourselves of.
You could have that opportunity.
I think that actually taking the earlier contracts, But you know, you gotta try toe.
You got 30 million sitting in front of you negotiating a little bit more? I wouldn't necessarily be against it either.
And the last realistic take from the score was seven offensive tackles.
Fly off the board on the first night.
Uh, let me actually look at the list of linemen.
Hey, sports news alert.
Thanks for joining the stream.
How are you? Uh, see? I mean, look at the offensive line.
See, in the mock draft, we had we had one, too.
34 We have four.
Yeah, we have four.
And see what they have as we're Cleveland Austin Jackson.
Those to drop to the second round.
Sort of Josh Jones, Isaiah Wilson as well.
So I mean, if those four guys get drafted in the first, that could be a possibility.
I don't necessarily see that being the case with kind of how the death of the offensive line class is.
So that will be kind of interesting to see if that ends up being the case.
But I think some of those guys slide to the second round doing well.
Hype, Help! It's draft day, officially here in Chicago.
I mean, it's 10 over outstanding on the West Coast.
So tomorrow I will be doing my final forced round mock draft.
Uh, sports news.
Where are you going to be doing that on SportsCastr? Just keep an eye on on the stream on my notifications.
I mean, like, tune in? Yes.
All right. So I'll definitely tune into that.
I I know I was available for some of the ones that you had, uh, the other day, so yeah, I'll definitely keep an eye on that C 15 4 15 Okay, I'll definitely be available at that time, so I'll be sure to tune in on.
I'm actually gonna go live on my other SportsCastr Siris in about five minutes after the stream is over and talk about the for the last four mock drafts. I did.
And by that, I mean four at once with the different approaches I had for what the Steelers could do Some fears before the draft. Awesome.
I'll definitely check it out.
Um, but yet that is it for this stream will be back in about 56 minutes to do my state of the Steelers episode.
So three, I'm gonna be going over all the mock drafts appreciated sports news alert on and I'll be going over my four mark drafts as well as the fifth mock draft that I'm talking about, which is the one I did for the unwrap mock draft.
Uh, the live when we had on the stream, talk about the moves and what I made certain moves.
I did Aziz, a GM for the Steelers in that take See, my legs, they offer draft cause I have branding school.
You know what? I have so much online school, but in grad school are weeks start on Thursday.
So technically, Thursday is what Monday is for regular school.
So I'm actually totally available for the draft.
So happy about that.
It's kind of weird, too, because, you know, scheduling.
But, uh, you know what will definitely chat it up here on the next train.
Will be back in about five minutes to do Stay The Steelers Episode three The Mock draft edition.
But for all of you have, check this out.
Thank you so much for spending some time with me again.
I'll be back in about five minutes to do the same.
And Steelers, uh, for those of you who won't I hope you guys have a good night.
And this is Alex.
Be from unwrap Sports
