Hello, I'm saying in past going.
This is CP bl daily with Sam Pascoe.
Let's review Yesterday was an off day for all the teams, so no games to immediately report on.
But on the 19th we saw a pair of competitive games from all four keep team.
So first up we saw the defending champs.
The racket in ******s advanced five.
You know, with a 3 to 1 victory over the Phu Bon Guardians.
This was an unusually low scoring game for the ******s, who are an absolute offensive juggernaut in the CPI.
Bl they lead the league in runs per game.
Total hits, doubles home runs are B I's total bases batting average an O.
They're an offensive team for sure.
A big reason why the ******s were only able to manage three runs against the Guardians.
What does? Because Food Bon had one of the best pitchers in the league on the bump in former Astros writing Henry Sosa despite the loss.
So Stew toss an impressive seven innings, giving up seven hits, no walks and racking up four strikeouts against only two earned runs.
As for the other game On Sunday, we saw the UNI president 7 11 Lions defeat the Chinatrust Brothers 7 to 4.
Both teams have been slow to start the year and now both said, and two and four for the year.
The brothers had another former big leaguer on the bump for them, and much like the Guardians the Ford import took, the law's former Yankees left hander Jose DePaula took the ball for the brothers.
And despite the brothers having the lowest year reign, the CPB L Apollo was average eight hits, four earned runs, one walk and eight strikeouts across six innings.
Not great, not horrible.
While the Lions had 63 team strikeouts on offense coming into the day and league high, they struck out early.
They struck out early, but they also struck early, scoring three runs in the 1st 2 innings.
Note, though, their offense did end up finishing with a total of 10 strikeouts and still have a legal low 14 total box.
Okay, so that finishes up our review segment now onto previewing tonight's game.
The Guardians host the Lions and the only game on today for the Guardians they were, only they were just on a four game losing streak before their win against the Brothers on Sunday that will again be reflected in tonight's game as they are a whopping 2.
5 run underdogs.
It doesn't look much better when you look at their starting pitcher, Pan Wieland.
Wieland has a 10.
13 year rate and a 360 batting average while long lefties to get and I'll get on base at a rate of 4 55 Last year he went three and four with a 505 years Ray, and in his last game, he was beat up by the ******s over five and 1/3 innings.
This year, he gave up nine hits, including four long bombs and six total runs.
The 38 year old throws a lot of strikes but gives up a lot of hard contact, not a recipe for success in the C p B l.
As for the Guardian, 22 year old Chen See Pang will be on the bump.
He had a no decision against the brothers after allowing four runs on eight hits, although he was able to strike out only two batters for contacts, The Guardians pitching overall doesn't rack up that many K, so it's not that bad.
The unit has a legal 31 K's on the year, also giving up league highs and one in whip 1.
5.93 So now on to our picks.
I like the over 11.
5 and the Guardians on the run line.
5 runs is a lot to give up, but the Guardians team is looking to start this week on strong, and there have, and they're facing a veteran in Wieland who they've seen a lot before in the two previous games about side, the one run game against the ******s, the Guardians have selected 9.
5 runs per game and kept pace with one of the hottest lineups in the league.
I like them to cover tonight, facing that veteran pitcher and almost Singley half a single handedly overtaking that over.
We'll also take guardians over seven runs at minus 1 15 As for a total of three picks, Maur, check out Pascoe sports on Twitter
