00:00:45
Okay, here we are, guys.
00:00:50
Thank you for joining me.
00:00:52
I'm sure many others will kind of, you know, stream in here and there.
00:00:58
This is kind of Ah, very last minute impromptu to stream.
00:01:02
I decided to pull together.
00:01:04
In fact, I didn't even have time to put any graphics or anything up on the screen.
00:01:07
So we're doing this kind of bare bones tonight.
00:01:10
But for those of you that do not know, my name is Jesse Clark.
00:01:15
I write and stream on behalf of the Unwrapped Sports Network, and the Unwrap Sports is going to conduct a mock NFL draft two point.
00:01:28
Oh, tomorrow night, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern.
00:01:32
That is going to be on coleslaw.
00:01:39
He is going to be the streamer on that.
00:01:41
He's a member of the unofficial NFL unwrapped group.
00:01:44
He's the probably the leading member of our group and is as faras total streams go.
00:01:51
He's does a pretty good job of all this and from my understanding, the way it went last time, you know, they had Cem guests on to announce their picks and, you know, announced trades and do in, you know, during mock.
00:02:14
Uh, I guess ratings and everything else That kind of just gonna give some ****ysis throughout.
00:02:21
Think it's gonna be a few hours long, probably to get through it.
00:02:24
I believe it's the first and second round here.
00:02:28
So pretty exciting stuff.
00:02:29
If you guys don't have anything going on tomorrow evening, make sure you're tuning into Colts Walls broadcast on this NFL mock draft.
00:02:38
But I wanted to just lay out a few things that have already happened.
00:02:43
So there's already been a few trades that have occurred and just been announced on Twitter here recently.
00:02:49
I wanted to kind of break those down.
00:02:51
So for one, this one is very surprising.
00:02:57
I mean, these have to take into consideration.
00:03:01
You know, we're having some fun with it. There's not.
00:03:05
There's no riel stock in the game here.
00:03:08
I mean, we're just, you know, conducting a mock draft and having fun with it.
00:03:11
So that being said the first trade was cold slaw.
00:03:18
Who is obviously operating the Indianapolis Colts, who do not have a first round pick because they gave up their 13th overall pick to the San Francisco 40 Niners for Buckner in the trade earlier this offseason.
00:03:34
He is going to trade T Y Hilton, the 34th overall pick in the second round, another 2021 1st round pick and a 2021 3rd round pick for the third overall selection.
00:03:50
So they're moving all the way up.
00:03:52
And I wonder if given the state of the quarterback position with Indianapolis, Philip Rivers being there this year, a short term deal towards the end of his career, if he's looking to trade up, to get to Ah or Herbert and start that clock for the franchise quarterback, the new franchise quarterback in Indianapolis.
00:04:16
And that's just fascinating to me, I would.
00:04:21
I mean, that would be very crazy to see on the actual NFL draft, So I'm very fascinated by this deal.
00:04:27
I like the return that Detroit got back in return.
00:04:30
Obviously, they got quite a bit in return for that one pick.
00:04:35
But if you believe in your guy, you know, I believe in going up all the way.
00:04:40
If if you have that strong of a belief in somebody I believe in, it could could be a franchise changer getting that third overall pick, so pretty interesting deal there.
00:04:54
The next deal I don't believe should have been made.
00:04:59
I think this was a little bit more lopsided.
00:05:02
So we are going from the third overall pick to the fourth overall pick.
00:05:09
So the Chargers just trade up a few spots to the Giants.
00:05:15
This is but between Monique and Perry, and Monique is operating the Chargers and Perry's operating that the Giants organization.
00:05:27
The Chargers traded up two picks in the first round from the six to the fourth.
00:05:32
They also received the 99th overall pick in this year's draft in the 110th overall pick in this year's draft, and that the Giant's got to move back to spots.
00:05:45
Got a 37th overall pick in the second round this year and then also got Derwin James in return.
00:05:52
So I love that deal for the Giants, especially given the fact that they just took a quarterback last year so they don't have any risk of losing ah, franchise saving quarterback and they moved back only two picks.
00:06:08
They pick up a second round pick in the process and then they get a very, very good safety that can boost that defense that has struggled.
00:06:18
The last couple years.
00:06:19
So love that trade for the Giants, I guess.
00:06:25
Ah, there's obviously rumors.
00:06:29
The cool thing about this NFL unwrapped page.
00:06:32
If you guys aren't following it on Twitter, go fall NFL unwrapped as well.
00:06:36
They're breaking down, picked by pick when they when it happens tomorrow.
00:06:41
But they're also kind of giving little tidbits as to where people are leaning, because I think this is all being done in a group chat.
00:06:50
So everyone kind of knows what's going on in the group chat.
00:06:53
But nobody else obviously does.
00:06:56
So I guess there's obviously some heavy rumors that the Bangles air taking Joe Burrow at number one.
00:07:02
No surprise there.
00:07:03
I mean, what else do you want to say there, then? Apparently, there's rumors that the Lions are again engaged in more trade talks with the Eagles.
00:07:16
So interesting story to develop here.
00:07:22
So that's those air the trades that have happened so far.
00:07:27
But some more things to look out for my my buddy over Josh usn one here SportsCastr that I joined his stream last night.
00:07:38
We broke down the MLB underrated players in the league.
00:07:42
That was a fun little podcast slash stream that he was kind enough to ask me to join.
00:07:49
If you guys missed that, go to his page.
00:07:51
Josh usn on SportsCastr to check that out from last night.
00:07:55
Fun, little discussion.
00:07:56
But he is a Chicago guy, so he is managing the Bears team.
00:08:03
And he just made an announcement not too long ago that he's actually opening up a little war room stream slashed Skype opportunity for you guys to get in before the draft starts at 7 p.m.
00:08:22
And you know, he sounds like he's going to weigh heavily what the audience wants him to do with the picks.
00:08:33
So pretty ballsy move there on his part.
00:08:37
But some fun little interactive options to join if you guys are again, if you're not doing a whole lot and you want to tune into the mock draft something to feel like you guys are participating, you guys conjoined his stream before the mock draft actually starts at seven o'clock.
00:08:57
But the other thing I wanted to do before closing here, we'll just break down a few Ah few players that I'm actually very intrigued by in the actual NFL draft, and I'm very intrigued because there more or less.
00:09:16
Uh, what's the word I'm looking for? They are hot button players there.
00:09:27
Uh, it's at the tip of my song.
00:09:28
Anyways, these players that are very, ah, one way or the other that they're, you know, one put One person thinks that their garbage, the other person thinks that they have a ton of upside and are gonna be great.
00:09:45
You know, those types of players that are borderline.
00:09:49
Either way, I wanted to break down, and I wanted to kind of reiterate one thing that I mentioned on the podcast or the stream earlier this week with Steve Penn.
00:10:00
Tato and I had him on.
00:10:01
And we broke down the fantasy coaches podcast mock draft in which we will be releasing the podcast on Monday, breaking that all down in that we mentioned briefly the prospect of Mr Love quarterback Utah State potentially going to the Colts and early round two, or the Colts looking to move up and round one to get him.
00:10:30
I'm a Colts fan.
00:10:31
I honestly want that.
00:10:34
I think rather than giving up all that cap draft capital that coleslaw did in this mock draft, I much rather than not give up as much and either wait until early second round pick, which they have, or move up a little bit late in the first and not have to give up so much and just go after a guy like Jordan love, because I think he has the talent.
00:10:57
But the recklessness that is definitely considered a risk but in the Colts offensive system could really succeed.
00:11:06
And I think he could also succeed in.
00:11:09
He's the type of player that is very dependent on where he's going to go, and I think the culture, a team I'd love to see him go to.
00:11:16
I'd love to see him go to the Saints.
00:11:18
I love the sea and maybe go to the Buccaneers.
00:11:21
I'd love to see him, you know, sit, sit behind Tom Brady for a year and then take over for Bruce Arians right after that.
00:11:29
You know, those are the types of teams I'd like to see take a shot on him, but if he goes to the wrong situation, that's where it could maybe even, you know, hinder or ruin his career because he's just the type of guy.
00:11:42
He's got a lot of Josh Allen risk taking Jamis Winston in his game.
00:11:47
But if he goes to the right coach that can refine that and make that a positive, like Mahomes has done like Brett Farve was, they were able to do those types of playmakers that are willing to take risks, do some things reckless here and there, but end up being, you know, making better moves more way more often than they do.
00:12:10
Bad moves are the guys that are going to pan out in the NFL.
00:12:13
So I'm very intrigued to see where Jordan love goes.
00:12:17
If he goes in the first round, if he doesn't where he might go in the second round.
00:12:21
I'm also very intrigued to see the battle between two, uh, and Herbert, which teams going Thio, you know, get up, go up to the top of the draft and get their guy.
00:12:31
Which guy do they want? All these rumors about teams being scared off of to us injury history, everything else.
00:12:41
I wonder if that's just coach speak to try to get, you know, people to trade up and or maybe some some teams to not trade up in the high part of the first round.
00:12:54
and the Dolphins at five and the Chargers that six are just waiting for those guys to fall to them.
00:13:01
So I'm wondering if that's a little bit of gamesmanship or whether all these all this talk Israel whether Herbert is going to jump to, uh as the second quarterback overall taken.
00:13:12
So I'm interested in those types of things.
00:13:14
I'm also interested to see where the Lions and the Giants go up.
00:13:18
34 I love Jeff A Cuda from Ohio State.
00:13:22
Obviously, most of you guys know I'm big, A Buckeyes fan, but by a society.
00:13:26
He is by far the best cornerback prospect in this draft, and he is a game changer right away.
00:13:33
He can start to shut guys down just the way he plays.
00:13:36
He can match up one on one with guys and really affect the past game.
00:13:42
And then I also love Simmons, the linebacker out of Clemson.
00:13:46
So I'm very intrigued to see if one of those 34 teams will take him.
00:13:52
Whether you get some guy teams trading up in that 34 slot, whether Simmons falls, maybe to number seven at the Panthers.
00:13:59
I think the Panthers would be a great fit for him, given their needs, given the fact that Luke equally just retired and their need desperate need of a line back there.
00:14:09
A linebacker that can lead that defense again.
00:14:11
And Simmons is the guy to do that.
00:14:13
So I'm interested in those.
00:14:14
And then I'm also very interested in this wide receiver class and the top five running backs.
00:14:23
I think running backs really fall off a cliff.
00:14:26
They're not as deep as this wide receiver class, but the top end of that running that class coming out is very, very intriguing.
00:14:34
From a fantasy perspective, if you're a fantasy football player and then just from a real life perspective, I think a lot of these guys can make an instant impact.
00:14:41
You know? Jonathan Taylor, J.
00:14:44
Dobbins, DeAndre Swift acres out of Florida State.
00:14:48
I think even the ah ch ah, I'll just use his initials instead of his long name that running back out of L s U.
00:14:57
Those are the top five, in my opinion.
00:14:59
And ah, so I think those guys can make instant impacts.
00:15:03
And in this wide receiver classes is a historic one.
00:15:06
This is going to be one that is, you know, look back on.
00:15:10
I think in 5 to 10 years and just ends up being one of the better ones that we have seen this millennium.
00:15:17
It's just so deep and so talented.
00:15:20
And I'm interested to see how many of those guys go in the first round or with how poor the draft history has been.
00:15:27
You know, in recent memory where these early round wide receivers have, kind of, uh, been flukes and busts.
00:15:34
You know, I'm interested to see if that plays into anything could impact anything or whether it teams.
00:15:40
We're just going to take the most talented guys and forget about that stuff and really be intrigued by these young wide receivers the way I am.
00:15:49
So those are the things I am looking out for.
00:15:52
I you know, we have less than a week away.
00:15:56
The NFL draft is next Thursday, going to be the first time of my lifetime, maybe ever.
00:16:01
Probably that it's going to be a mobile NFL draft and not in person meetings, but should be interesting should be a nice little fun, uh, event to track, in my estimation, It's going to be one of the higher rated NFL draft of all time because nobody else has anything to watch at the moment.
00:16:24
And I think everybody is going to be tuning in, you know, streaming this and and watching because we just don't have much else to look forward to.
00:16:32
Except for this big M J.
00:16:35
The last dance do***entary that, uh, I believe, premieres this Sunday on ESPN.
00:16:41
So that will also be a fun.
00:16:44
I think it's like a 10 part docuseries, so that'll be really, really fun to watch.
00:16:49
So we have some fun things coming up in the sports world that we don't really that we haven't been spoiled with the last couple weeks with this quarantine situation.
00:16:59
So if you're a huge sports fan like I am, you know, those those are two big events that are coming up in the very near future that you guys can tune into and keep us entertained for a while.
00:17:09
So that just about does it for the stream.
00:17:11
Thank you guys so much for joining me and make sure if you are not doing you know much tomorrow night and you have the time tune into the live stream of the unwrap sports mock draft two point.
00:17:24
Oh, and make sure you're following them.

00:17:30
They're going to post everything there so you can follow me at J.
00:17:34

00:17:42

00:17:44
So much for tuning in.
00:17:45

00:17:52

00:17:54
So much for tuning in.
00:17:55
Peace out, guys. Stay safe.
