mixed family was popping is your boy? We got eyes a already in the chat, saying the whole bunch of stuff.
I'm gonna let him tell you why he's proud, though.
I'm not gonna tell you why he's primal.
That Isaiah tell you why he's feeling so good and proud today.
You would think that he wouldn't feel this good.
You know when he's when he's come on after he spent some time with his lady, But no.
Some different than that.
Today, ladies and gentlemen, we are breaking down New York Knicks draft pick prospects, not picks prospects, possible prospects.
I'm gonna break some of them down.
And I know you can't see my eyes.
I'm gonna raise this up a little bit so you could see my eyes.
We're gonna talk about Obi Topping.
We're gonna talk about James Wiseman and whether or not these two guys would be good draft picks for the New York Knicks if the Knicks were in position to get these guys, we'll talk about it.
I'm gonna break it down.
All right? I got game.
Oh, I got Isaiah.
God, Kevin in the check Had a look at it. Make sure I had the name.
I'm gonna get these guys over here, and we're gonna go ahead and start breaking this thing down, man.
Uh, I mean, let me get these guys in here.
What's popular with you, bro? How you feel? No much, man.
Uh, watch a lot of Dr videos lately on these players.
Some money, underrated sin.
Typical Is rent is issuing Jackman.
Um, I think one thing with the Knicks, you look at somebody's players and I just wonder if we have the infrastructure to properly developed the players.
Ah, you know, it's not just a coaching, right? It's the assistant coaches.
This is the last few What you want to run in the court? Um, the also your your your health.
Your was the health and nutritional.
A team there. Your workout.
Uh, what do you want me to call him? The workout.
That guy's basically keep these guys in shape.
The work on guys of physical fitness guys, Um, yeah, You got a lot of world guys and someone's gonna hit his rat just because of the share, the sheer talent.
But a lot of these guys need development need I mean, proper development.
Wiseman, I'm seeing comparisons like Chris Pasha, like did He is not Chris Bosch to do not do not quotas.
Knew Chris Box company.
I mean, some guys have lost lofty expectations and unfortunately, it's gonna be a few guys going to some teams who wantto conceive kids saviors when they're not, you don't need.
So maybe you should listen to me.
We're gonna get into it, but, you know Oh, no.
Now I feel strongly about both these guys, man.
It's just I felt uneasy about later then the next this exact cause.
I don't see barge.
People calling will be topping Amar Stottlemeyer and again different type of NBA's where, ah, God, I could be topping the feature.
But, you know, I remember a guy and Derrick Williams is the same.
Had the same profile outside the fact that we'll be conflict shooting better coming out of college.
But the same profile, the same explosiveness.
And and you know what a lot of people do is that they go for potential and you know how many guy I bet you 80 proof set other guys, They're going to the drive all this potential here.
This pretend you're here never panned out, and he s can does it.
Fox is all the media outlets.
Do it instead of looking at a kid's tape and say This kid shoots 40% from three or this guy's averaging seven points, seven assists, you know, when a team that's really not good, you know? But he's get everybody involved is averaging 15 points a game, being the only option on the team as a point guard, I'm just looking at, like Jonah and stuff like that average 15 points game, you know? I mean, everybody's looking.
Oh, man, this guy you don't Did you see that? You see his highlights? Did you see it is like what? Like that's I only said to scouting a player, so you know we will get into it, But yeah, I mean, you know, you know, just preliminarily, I will say he looks in place a lot like and I'm not talking about he's he's gonna be a memory.
His style of play is a lot like a more ease.
Even even The way you shoot a jump shot is a lot like a mor e It is.
It is a lot, and I'm not gonna have video up to look at it, but we'll talk about it because there's a lot with both of these guys over these guys.
They're big question marks.
Were both of these guys, in my opinion.
All right, let me get you are saying that we're gonna go ahead, go ahead and we'll look at James Wiseman first.
I say, what's popping with you, man? Hey said, You know, that is a few days of my life where I'm excited, you know, um, my father's birthday A girl's birthday? Uh, my birthday when I get the Eastern Delicious food For two days of my life I appear joy in my heart But today my my heart is just extended the universe I'm he I'm usually here I want to meet is going But I'm here Don't you want to be that do tonight? Don't universe come together the world over? I want you to say that my birthday today Can I get a having every day for the chat guys, you gotta have bad guy, man, because negative.
Nancy Over here.
I was on Mr Graham today says, Yeah.
What? I was bored and I was cooking my food.
I, uh I see my best friend, Damian Dotson online.
And I said, let me go see my best friend, Damion Dotson.
And see, you know, see what he's doing.
You know he was alive.
He clicked the request, but I quit the request button, and lo and behold, we got on.
We had our face time with each other.
You know, we call you gotta I d life.
We talked for hours, you know? Yeah.
You talk for what? Three minutes.
Is that ours? Now, I know that, but, you know, I got to talk to Damien dots in a little bit.
I want to see I did get to talk to Damien.
Dies in a little bit.
Very humble guy.
Um, you know, give Oh, shut.
I'll get it is I don't like So So can you say that before I finish my awesome story? Hurry up, man.
Just give all the type of dude sin to be like we're having a good time at the party and be like, you know, we're going all gonna die one day, right? That doesn't mean that some Gilmore is.
But anyways, you know, talking to Damien dies, and he's a very humble guy.
I told him, like, you know, I said, I know NBK told him to hop on the chat and see if he wanted to come on one day.
You know, he kind of like, you know, you kind of you know, he's like that He did.
They might chicken out.
He makes He said, No, but it's okay.
I'm just assume he said yes, and he's on the chat right now.
But, you know, we made sure the Senate, the NBK total Nick, you know, we talk about him and Frank.
He's all workers, you know, I haven't stopped smiling since.
So you know, I'm good for the rest of my life. I'm fine.
I can die. I'm good.
I made you wait.
You know what, Damien Damien? That's a major day.
That's what's up.
That's all that matters.
They mean that's a major day.
That's all that matters.
May that was up to, you know, you know, Big sat out two big set out, you know, Big.
Shout out that that be doing stuff like Okay, ladies and gentlemen, you know we're gonna get out and we're gonna break this down.
We're gonna take a look at James Wiseman first.
Talk about change, Wiseman.
Okay, look, you know, I don't want the NC Double A and everybody else banging out my videos.
You know what I'm saying? So it's not any highlights of this guy, but we're gonna bring over some stats and some history of him.
Look at his strengths and his weaknesses, and they will get back to the video chat.
I'm gonna take some phone calls. I want to know what you think about him.
All right? I want to get all of that information.
So let's go ahead.
Let's bring this on over here.
James Wiseman, ladies and gentlemen, is a center.
That's what he's listed as.
All right, play for Memphis is freshman this year.
Course it's gonna be some cabby out there, but he's a freshman this season in the 1920 season with the Memphis Tigers.
He just turned 19 about a week ago.
All right, so big.
Shout out to change Wiseman for advancing in age this season.
Remember, he only played three games, ladies and gentlemen, in three games, the average 19.
7 points per game.
10 points, seven rebounds, 0.
3 steals, one turnovers shot 76.
9% from the field.
It did not shoot threes and 70.
4% from the free throw line.
J remember he only played three games.
Why did he only played three games? Let's talk about that for just a minute, all right? Just just a second.
So we have some back around history.
Why he only played three games.
And, yes, I did change garments.
Ladies and gentlemen, I want to keep my ears warm.
But anyway, James Wiseman was recruited by Penny Hardaway in high school.
Uh, Penny Hardaway was coaching a high school team.
He wanted this kid to come play for me.
So what do you do? He paid $11,500.
It is kid and his family to move so he could play high school ball.
Behold Sky helps Penny Hardaway in a college coaching gig, right? It's a penny Hardaway.
It moves on its coaching in college.
Is he recruits James Wiseman to come play for him? The CW said, Hold on.
You paid $11,500 for this kid to move to play for you in high school, they considered Penny Hardaway a booster.
Let's put it like that, All right, so needless to say, it was considered an NC double violation.
You know, there was, ah, court hearing and all that kind of stuff.
James Wiseman was rude and eligible to play college basketball, so I only played three games for the Memphis Tigers.
So what you get is what you you know what you see.
I don't want to know.
I was about to say What you see is what you get.
But it's not like that.
What you see, you don't know what you get yet because you're not.
You was not able to see him play.
Ah, full college season.
You wouldn't play the full college season anyway, but he would've played most of it.
You don't know exactly what you're getting with James Wiseman.
You know that he was one of the top high school centers or the top high school center to come out that season, All right, we know that.
We know we super athletic.
You know, he's got some role potential, but not playing those.
You know, the games that they played in college, you know, maybe hurts his draft.
Maybe under his draft stock.
Is that good? A strange The weaknesses.
He's got great sizes.
Maybe I should have said great size.
He has good size before the n b A.
He still might be kind of small, but you could see his shoulders there.
The kids still has some room to fill out.
And if you look at his body structure is gonna fill out nicely, I think he's gonna fill out nicely.
Is gonna have a good, strong MBA body longer.
See, you know this does the right things, keeps himself in shape, eats the right kind of foods, he said.
Have a good MBA body.
It's got good footwork in his nimble on its feet.
That is very good for any basketball player.
Regard is if you have all offensive moves or not, it is very good tohave good footwork and be nimble on your feet.
That is the basis that's That's one of the basis that you've gotta have to play.
Basketball is good footwork and then to be nimble toe add that with good footwork.
You know, it says that you have the foundation to develop an offensive game because he needs to.
He has those fundamentals, right? He shows flashes of a nice touch.
If you watch those three games, you know, we showed the ability to knock down in a mid range shot.
Maybe not down a fadeaway, potent.
So ah, fadeaway post move or something.
All right, so he has a couple of flashes.
And he's got a little bit of a touch and would have the ability to shoot.
He has good for my watch the suit. It's free throws.
He has good form.
How did not? The only thing I would say about this form is when he lets the ball go his fingers that tight together.
You need to spread those fingers, make sure you get good rotation on the ball.
But hey, that's what That's what.
Assuming coach is a four course, he has the potential to be a paint defender, but he has a good nose for the ball and blocking shots.
I'm not saying that he's like he's Mitchell Robinson, but he has that kind of, ah, laser focus on the ball.
It is to be able to block shots, and so he's a guy that should be able to block shots.
I didn't put it.
I should have put his his, uh, put steals up there.
I should have put his blocking.
Stats will be in my bag.
I don't know why I put steals up there.
I do know why I put steals up there, because this is a template that I used when I was doing the guards.
That's why I put steals.
Weaknesses, ladies and gentlemen, his basketball I Q.
His his basketball experience.
Let's say that obviously, he played in high school and he was a top crew coming out of high school, all right, but he only got to play three games in college, so hitting he didn't really get a chance to perform at this level.
19 points and 10 rebounds against full time Uh, college, you know, continuously intense basketball play where they get a chance to see that.
And by the way, he averaged three blocks per game.
I just want to throw that out there.
The every street blocks per game.
Hey. Needs to develop in Office of Package.
He doesn't have much, Much like, very much like Mitchell Robinson, Right? Very much like Mitchell Robinson.
Um, he's gonna catch oops.
Gonna get offensive rebounds and put him back.
You're gonna catch him on affairs break.
You know, you might catch him cutting to the basket.
Something like that, you know? But you're not going to get a whole lot of, you know.
I'm going to take you to the basket.
I'm gonna post you up.
You know, I'm gonna jab, step and knock down the mid range.
You're not gonna get that out of him right now.
He needs to build his offense of package.
He'll bite on fakes.
Much like our boy Mitch.
Right? Won't fit.
You get him in the outer.
He wants to block those shots Then.
Of course, young man is 19 years old.
Just turned 19 years old a week ago.
He's gotta build its upper body's gotta build his lower body.
Most of these rookies in the draft.
You know, that's what has to be done.
No doubt about the kid.
He's going to be a good player one day.
I expect he will be.
But if we're the next and you get the number one pick, I mean, you know, right now they have, you know, who gets drafted is gonna depend on who gets that number one pick.
Really? But if you get the number one pick, do you even consider James Wiseman? I'm gonna be honest with you, and this has nothing to do with the NC double violation.
But I'm not considering James Wiseman, right? I look at him and I see much of what Mitch is right now.
Yes, he's younger, but if you're going to say he's younger because he's 19 years old and Mitch is 21 you know, I mean, and you're going too far.
Then you're going too far, right? If I hear someone say, Well, Jay's wife is going to be younger, you're going too far.
I don't want to hear that.
Now you're going to get much of what Mitch is Night.
A big, long center that could block shops.
I can catch the doesn't have an outside game, right? Doesn't have much of a post up game, maybe e.
He's shown the ability to hit the outside shot.
You know, the mid range shot a little bit more than Mitch right now.
It doesn't mean that Mitch isn't going to develop it.
Mitch really didn't get too much of a chance to shoot it.
All right, so you know, And plus, if you drive Wiseman in those 1st 5 picks, you're gonna be paying the kid, What, seven 1,000,000? Eight million? $9 million a year you're paying me? It's like a 1,000,000.
Well, you know who has the bigger upside? I don't know.
But I think at this point, if it were me, I wouldn't go Wiseman.
I'd stick with Mitch.
Right, Because you're not gonna be able to play the two guys together.
That's not happening.
You can guarantee that I'd stick with Mitch and still go with a point guard at that point.
No, that's where I would be.
I figured, you know, the same player.
You know, Wiseman offensive game is maybe it's a little bit more defined in Mitch, you know, could he do it in the N B a.
I think when he gets into the n b A, he's going to be much.
He's gonna be like Mitch catching. Oops.
Getting put backs.
It's gonna be the same guy.
Maybe he knocks down the mid range a little bit more.
But let me get in here, man. Let me see.
Nate just joined this big freeze.
He said Nate, I'm a company.
You may I want to find out what you think.
What do you think? Maybe do you take James wise minute to the next one to get the number one pick? Do you take James Wiseman? I say no.
You're talking about your term.
But, big guy, what to say? You talk about the guy you talk about the guy from Memphis, the aid of Memphis Center for Memphis.
Oh, no, man, you got Mitch.
I mean, you gotta You gotta roll with Mitch, man.
He's only 21 years old, and, you know, you've already kind of hopefully made them one of your cornerstone pieces of this team, so I mean, I know wise, it's probably a little bit more ahead of him offensively, But I don't know if she's gonna ever be the potential defensively that Mitch is already.
Um, I mean, I'll be also the same.
I haven't really seen the guy play.
I don't want a lot of college basketball this year.
I know he's got a pretty good jump shot. I hear.
Um, I just I just think I mean, he's kind of seeing person, Mitch is, except maybe a little bit more offense, you know? And Mitch has already been in the mix system or whatever you wanna call it for, what, 23 years.
Well, yeah. I mean, with the Knicks.
Yeah, he's been with Mitch has been with the next.
This is the second season, right? This is the second now, you know, wise man, maybe he has a little bit more of a jump shot, but it's still it's still he's still very much gonna be the same players. Mitch.
It the only thing, the only thing that's what I say is if the Knicks are able to move Julius Randle, then I think it could be consideration, you know, because keeping Midget Five and Wiseman playing before, But I don't think so.
Wiseman doesn't shoot.
He shot 0% for the three point line. Isn't he? Doesn't shoot.
It would be a total duplication of player to have Mitch and James Wiseman on the floor and have a ****.
I mean, he could maybe shoot the mid range.
He's sown the ability to shoot the mid range, but we don't know if it's going to be consistent if he's gonna be able to do it in N B A.
He only played three.
Yeah, Like I said, I have not seen a lot of college basketball this year.
So, um, I really don't have a strong opinion on him of and that he is a pretty athletic specimen.
He's a big guy, but like I said, we already have that in Mitch, man.
So I mean, I said the rock with Mitch and just get some, get a shooter, get some, get some guys that can slash to the basket.
Um, you know, let's build around Mitch and R J men.
You know, Guys, guys, big freezing.
Let me get Let me get some other guy's a zbig freezing.
I'm coming to you Big freezing Big Four Easy.
What's going on, man.
What's your take on James Wiseman? Man, I love this kid, man.
Um, I don't know if you remember, but a couple of years ago, we had this conversation and I got slammed.
And I'm in a check because I felt like the Knicks were avoid of, um, super athletic, bouncy Biggs.
And so I said that men, I got slammed and I think, and that same yet that we drafted Mitch and it changed.
It changed everything for our, you know, on team defense just by having somebody back there.
But, um, from I love apartment, But but I don't think that we could play Mitch and wise men at the same time.
You know, Nothing.
Wi***** is what we want Mitch to be eventually, like a super athletic, bouncy big that's impactful on on defense and contribute, you know, some on offense, but I don't know if we can play both of a man and having both of them.
It would be no a dilemma force.
It would just be too redundant.
In my opinion, you can't play both off at the same time in my life.
You can't, right? Yeah, I just don't like people, but I love wise.
You know, Sam, the dude has foot, speed and athleticism.
You know, when he has all those things that the modern big has, And I don't know if we can pass on that sand that were devoid of talent.
Uh, you know, I don't know, man.
I mean, I think if I have the number one pick, I don't know if I haven't met the top of my board, and I'm going to do a Knicks big board.
I don't know if I haven't met the top of my board just because because we have Mitch and because it's so redundant.
Are you? Do you think he's more athletic than Mitch? I don't know if I could say that right now.
Based off. Take that. I watch.
But at the same time, no, man, you know, there was a time in, like 85 with Nick's had to do in a Bill Cartwright. With that.
They took with number three pick in the draft and Bill Cartwright with coming along pretty good, but the number one pick in that draft with a new name? Patrick Ewing.
I mean, right, but But he was head and shoulders above.
But, I mean, you knew that Patrick bats going was the best one of the best.
One of the top five players in college.
So you knew Patrick Hume was going to be heads and shoulders.
Better wait right with Charles Barkley and Chris Mullen and all of you understand what you're saying.
You know what J? No.
Then you know, you're looking at it like I said early.
You gotta pay James Wiseman.
Maybe $9 million a year.
Only paying Mitch a 1,000,000.
And you still got that contract with Mitchell a couple of years.
No, but let me, actually, this does Mitchell Robinson.
Does Mitchell Robinson today look like in a couple years, he'll be 20 and 10.
Guy? I don't know.
I don't know, but I don't know if we could say that about what has me neither.
We could say he's gonna I mean, he has.
Listen, I say that he has the footwork.
He has all the foundation.
All the foundational piece is to be a 2010 guy.
He has all right, I will see that he has every every single foundation piece that you need.
He's got the footwork.
He's nimble on his feet.
He's got good form.
He's got to spread its fingers on that jump shot.
But it looks like he'll be able to have a little bit of a touch, you know? Will he be able to develop? You know, some post moves and things like that.
Will he be ableto eventually? Take it outside of the paint.
But it is probably right now, though, Is he bad admits right now, in your opinion, you know, it's hard to say we only seen him three games in college.
I know, man, I know all right.
Only a matter of fact, he's taking a very similar route to the N B A.
That Mitch took because maybe coming out of high school was one of your top centers to one of the top two centers coming out of high school.
Remember Mitch, Mitch Mitch absolutely murdered this cat named DeAndre eight.
And at the video, the 90 elite.
Everything they have, right, Mitch murdered at noon, and then he fell off the map and disappeared.
But that's because everything that happened in college, you know me so right.
It s so you know, it is.
It's tough to say, May it is tough to say, You know, it's that I think the question is, this is he so good.
Like you were saying Bill Cartwright and Patrick Ewing is He's so good that he's going to change your franchise.
If he is that good when he changes your franchise than yet, then you got to do it.
If you got a guy that, you know, the dude is a franchise changer.
You think about this all the front office is everybody in basketball know that Biggs are being basically, um, you have to change your mind.
Your skill set is a big and just do that.
Still considered to be a top three pick.
Think about that team.
They're going away from seven footers and just want runners.
A lot of catching defenders.
I didn't notice 71 and still isn't a conversation.
So, what are you gonna do that Philadelphia picked up? Um, you know, what's his name? Oh, um, Okafor is coming out.
It was considered He was supposed to be.
His footwork was supposed to be phenomenal, you know? You know how I know? Good touch.
Good soft hands, Good soft feet, obviously.
You know, coming out his defense was an issue.
His the James Weisman's defense is not an issue.
You know that he can block shots, and he's gonna have a good n b a body.
Is this a motor and a high motor? You know, And And he has a hot Melinda and uh huh, you know.
So, um, yeah, I just don't see how that guy everything if so, this is This is my filling owner.
So if you if you don't mix and you get the number one pick right and that do you have the dude ranked number one on your board? You have to take him regardless.
If you have Mitchell Robinson and not because you have you can't just look at the what players are gonna be own court.
You have to look at assets also, you know, you don't like what things cannot maybe move later on to get another key piece that I wouldn't been able to get a say in the draft or free agency.
You know, you have to treat it treated like a an asset to But but the thing would Wiseman.
Jules, don't come.
Seven, dude 71 that come along.
And our athletic is Do that a six foot tall They don't come along often.
And for the Knicks have two of them.
Man, that'll be.
That'll be crazy, man.
I mean, and I'm still asking you to take that ticket and move it.
You know, I went back and I watched a lot of his game or his three games, right? I went back because I have them all.
I have all just about every single high profile college game recorded, right? You know, because they came by ESPN, ESPN two, ESPN, this, ESPN that and I got more.
Set my YouTube TV up to the court, All of them.
You don't have you two TV, get it because you're gonna record all of that stuff and go back and watch it at any time is good.
I think I have a good till like, November, right? And I went back and I watched the games, and I saw a lot of Mitch, besides an occasional mid range jump shot that he can knock down.
I did see better footwork, too much and better form shooting shot.
You know what I'm saying? But I still, you know, says no longer sit.
But for you to say that is like the biggest co signed up because I agree with Robinson and next Knicks fans.
Knicks fans that don't know this needs need to, you know, get their stuff together.
This dude has Mitchell Robinson, Elmer Ferns, who has the best footwork of any Big an MBA in the young, big an MBA and so much soul that he led the NBA and free throw.
I mean, field goal percentage.
Just catching lives and getting footwork so he'd be open for past presented itself to be open.
So all you have to do is dump.
And that's when the hardest things to do in MBA because everybody is as defensive schemes to cover either the three point line or or dunks and lay ups and for this duty to 74% from the field is incredible.
Well, you know, it's ah, I mean, listen, James Wiseman over his ah few games in the NC double A, um, over in college, he shot, like, 76% you know? You know, but mostly mostly from lobs and it don't sing and catch him on a fast break, just like Mitch.
And let me get around some of the guys.
I come back to you Big, Easy.
Uh, game mon coming to you, Guillermo.
I actually let me get to Andrew first.
I didn't get the angel. I'm coming.
Andrew Hope You ready? I'm coming to you, my man.
Andrew, You there? No.
Ain't there some coming to Gamow? So it's up to Gama.
What'd you take, man? The thing that was there, right? So Wiseman has he? Wiseman's very raw.
So watching some stuff on him, you could meet Prime deposit runs the floor.
Well, um, he does have he does try to shoot the mid range, and it's a shot where? The foul line or even inside the paint.
You know, he has a little touch when he gets the ball in space.
Like saving gets around like a file line.
Or sometimes even from the baseline when he has space.
You know, he has a little dribble and the little spindle to get to the basket easily.
Not easily, but more efficiently.
Oh, and and sometimes on the weak side defense, he's fairly solid now.
The things with him is that you know he doesn't really space on the floor in terms off.
He's not gonna shoot threes because people try to convince Kris Bosphorous boss or shoot 48% from three.
Even in college, it was like 1.
5 like shots a game.
That's that's pretty impressive for Big.
I think wise is that even for its frame, he doesn't assert himself physically all the time consistently, right? So when you look at a guy in college right now, we're looking at the top and we say, Oh, yeah, you could be the next Amar Sada Meyer.
At the very least, he's used his physicality at a very high level, right? And when you see a guy like Wiseman who should be doing that consistently, you kind of question whether he has that in him, what he doesn't, and if he doesn't have that in and then he has to change his old game to be more of a space space guy because you can't stay down there and try and be expected to bang with guys that you know down the post and you don't do that consistent.
It's just a bit weak.
I don't want to say a week. He's not strong.
He's got a strength in that upper like Obi Topping this.
We'll talk about him.
He's a grown ass man.
It was when it's gotten reports on the Wiseman was what you just said was that, you know, they actually said that his lower body, his lower frame, is actually relatively weak.
And you obviously have.
Your lower frame is weak.
You know you're not going to get a jump or get that balance, Not maybe to get that strength.
So that's that's one of his issues.
But the thing about some scares, I, you know, sometimes you could build and guys, right, you know, shacking, not shack is different, but you know, when they made shot Boco for the centers on the West, you know, some guys can't make it fill it out.
Just genetically could do that, you know? I don't know.
They just can't gain weight and get that muscle that genetics is that strong.
So that might be an issue.
I'll go for it. And one thing he also does, too.
And because of this, Is that something we get stuck down low against some of the defenders, right? He settles for like, every jump shots, right versus kind of like having a set of race of moves, and then you are going to a certain ah array of moves.
And then once that stuff kind of trying to pass out what kind of you know, get away from it like it is.
His room's Arlo are good and it's something build walkover.
But you're not looking at like a large one come from his guy, right? So it's like, sometimes you can be stopped by, you know, some of the big guys and hopefully we're coaching something, something something changed about.
I just want to ask, You know, outside we'll talk about that mid range and, you know, it was little Jubal at times about saying he's a good drum.
Just say that at times when he dribbles, when he has a little bit space to get to the basket, they asked.
Maybe I beat one man.
What did you do that so much? better than Mr Robinson.
People like, Oh, he's so much better.
You complain about this.
He's at least a certain self defense, and I know it takes years, right? But outside the whole con possible contract, the speed.
What did you do that so much better than Mr Robinson? Outside of what I said with a little mid range shot, how much they miss it, It's just I mean, I don't see much that he does different.
I mean, if you go back and watch the games, all of his points come from the same way that Mitchell Roberts it gets his points, you know, getting them on a fast break alley Oops, you know, Ah, offensive rebounds to putting it back.
Maybe a couple of minutes jumpshot saying there, um, you know, that's basically how it gets, is how he's getting his points right now.
You know, eat does have good footwork, and he has good form and those type of things.
But I wouldn't take him over Mitch.
I wouldn't draft him if we had the opportunity to draft him at one.
I would not draft him Now.
I seen someone say, if you had the opportunity to draft him at six.
Would you draft them? I don't know.
Like if I don't know, I'd have to think about it.
No, but he's at one or two or three and I have a chance to draft the mellow.
I'm going for the Knicks.
You're gonna take the mellow over James Wiseman, in my opinion.
But it makes at least no one's saying that Wiseman can't score.
But it's like when you look a conspirator talent wise, because scored this this thing is like a lot of times again.
A lot of people stay.
They built off potential.
So what will be easier to drive the guy wise land? And if we don't build around him, he gonna fall to write.
And I hope he does well, wherever he goes, he goes the next.
I hope he kills it right, But we'll be easier tohave him develop.
Somebody strengthens that we're talking about be more assertive, one of his reform, both offense and defense, and then get out of shot, which actually know shall be easy to come by because he actually don't shoot.
Or would it be easier? Just tell Hey Mitch and also nothing that wise in those Tuesday, he leaves his feet and Mitch robs at this.
This issue to Mr Robinson does it, too.
But Mr Johnson doesn't too.
But Miss Rob's again if we freakin got a **** center, too replaced deejay who's the same size of kind of teaching, saying move Because one once deejay came, he wasn't jumping on speak anymore.
It was like he was his feet with statements ground who's forcing guys that make bad shots, that second app.
But when you look like wise and it's the same thing, right, he does leave his feet a lot.
So it's like, you know, again, it's where he doesn't lie on his strength and his frame to kind of imposes his will upon guys trying to score on him in a post.
But a lot of times he leaves his feet off of what double move over head, fake stuff like that.
So I mean, it isn't wise.
It's just that, you know, when you look at the Knicks, isn't it? You look at that.
Look at that position is a position need. No.
Then you look at the talent.
Is a town so overwhelming? Right? People call, maybe he's not a B.
People try to calm our Christmas.
This increase Bosch so the talent doesn't supersede the knee was all you know.
It's not like this huge margin.
So you know something to him? I mean, I hope he does Well, I think I think with the proper team, I think what it seemed like, say, if you want to a team like the I don't know, I don't know how how they would develop him per se.
But he wants a team like the Blazers, where he could kind of space out and be dangerous.
And it could build up Morris Mobile perimeter game because those are rights.
I don't I don't think he's the guy that proper send off Freddie.
You know you need proper development development for wise men, right? He needs touches.
He's to get the ball in space.
He needs to refine his his spin moves, eyes post moves.
But it just I don't know if he's the right guy for the Knicks is just just doesn't fit.
Yeah, you know, You know, I don't know if he's the you know, if we didn't have mic'd and maybe he would be the right guy.
You got the number one pick.
Now, you know, if you're talking about the you know that we have the 56 pick, and I know you know, people are saying, Oh, it's not realistic that the Knicks don't have the number one pick, but it wasn't real.
This is that New Orleans would get another one pinky than they did.
So you know what? Just was just talking about it, right? What if Or what if he's there at another number, one of were third, and he's there.
And we had to choose between him and Lamell a ball.
What do we do? All right, so we're just asking the question, May I think that, You know, at this point, maybe he ends up being bit better than Mitch later.
But Mitch is going to be pretty good too, right? Mitch is going to be pretty to put pretty good too.
And at this point, you can maximize your money by keeping Mitch drafting another player.
Right? Because you got a pig, Wiseman.
You only gotta pay a mixer 1,000,000.
So now let's talk about Toby Topping and I'm gonna get to the other guys that's in the chat as we come back.
Let's talk about Toby because I know there's a lot of people that, like Obi Topping.
I like Obi topping a lot, too.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I like this kid, but I have some questions about him.
Nice, listed at 69 £220 is a forward played for dating.
He's a sop****re, but there's an asterisk next to him being a sop****re.
Ladies and gentlemen, all right.
He's 22 years old.
His birthday is 34 98 So he just turned 22 not too long ago.
Average 20 points, 7.
5 rebounds to point to assist.
3% from the field, shot 39% from three in 70.
6% from the free throw line.
Now, before we even get to his strengths and weaknesses, this just talk a little bit about why this guy's 22 years old and a sop****re, right, because usually had 22 years old.
You've great, you're seeing you're ready to graduate at 22 years old night.
He was born in Brooklyn.
All right, so for all intensive purposes, you can call him a local guy if you want to.
Is born in Brooklyn.
He moved to Florida, All right, for Florida.
He moved back to New York with the acid in high school and his junior.
He was not drag.
Ah, hi. Recruit.
Coming out of college and high school had no Division One offers.
So you went to a prep school in Baltimore Mount Zion Prep.
He played their four year all right, coming out of Baltimore.
He had coming out of my a Mount Zion.
He had offers from several different schools.
Day in, of course, obviously, Rhode Island, Georgetown.
Clearly, he chose to go to date, but he was a red shirt his first year.
Freshman year, he was a red suit.
So he sat out for an entire year, Do the academic ineligibility.
So he's a Red Service True freshman year.
And then finally he played as a redshirt freshmen.
So let me for those who may not understand, right? If you see a player, if you look at the players, um, career stats and it, says a redshirt freshman.
That means that the true freshman year, when they first went into college, they did not play that season are they played the number of games, you know, so little games that they allowed to redshirt and then the next year.
While class wise, they may be a sop****re class wise, basketball wise, As faras NC double eligibility is concerned.
The player is still a freshman and can still play four years of college basketball s So you actually get a whole year that you know.
And sometimes it happens for different reasons, right? You could be red shirted because of your grades.
You could be read.
Showed it because, developmentally, you're not ready and they want to develop you as a player.
You can get her bust in the open and you can read show that year.
There's different reasons why you can read show, but you get the practice with the team and you can go over plays and you could do all these things with the team.
So, he read, showed his true freshman year, and then the next year he played so at this time, right, he went with the prep school four years.
So he's probably about 19 when he goes to college as a freshman, and then it's freshman year.
He red shorts again.
So then, when he finally steps on the court to really plays 20 But he's 20 years old as a red short of freshmen, right? And then he's 21 years old as a wretched of soft morning turns, 22 at the end of his sop****re year.
So this is why he's 22 years old and he's only considered a sop****re.
He is a redshirt sop****re who came to college out of prep school.
All right, so it took a lot of developments for Obi to be the O.
B that we see right now, and I think that that means a lot.
That's something that I think we have to talk about.
It took a lot of development a lot of years for Obi to be.
This Obi wasn't highly cool.
You had a high school, so we took that prep here.
Now who knows what would happen is true freshman year, but he couldn't play, so there's some development that was going on there, right? He didn't play, but there was still working with him cause he could still practice.
He could still do certain things.
So there was still developing.
He could still live, waits.
All right, so there's some development going on.
And then he got his redshirt freshman year, sop****re year.
That's why it's 22 years old and he's a sop****re right now.
Like I said earlier is a grown as maid, so he's got N B A size and strength.
You, Scott good size and strength vertically.
He is explosive vertically going up. He is explosive.
You guys have seen the dunks, the windmill dunks in the power dunks and all those type of things right.
He's a great roll in the pick and roll.
That's way scores most of his bucket.
And that's the reason why so many people liking him tow my style of myrrh because is so good in that screen and roll comes off that screen and roll that point guard come off.
Why'd they hit him? Bam! He's rising up, and that's what that Ah, that explosive verticality comes in because when you catch the ball, he can get up in the air quick, which is troublesome for a lot of people.
Hey, can't shoot from the outside.
He shot 39% from three.
There's College Street this season, I think, Uh, in 18 19 he shot, like, 40 42% of something like that from three.
You could shoot from the outside.
He does kind of shoot it low if you watch games.
There are times I've seen him.
I've seen some games where he passed up wide open threes and swung it.
Now you know, what would.
I'm not saying he's scared to shoot it.
Maybe it was The coach said, Hey, this is what we want.
I don't know, You know? Talented kid, his weaknesses.
Where's he going to grow? Well, the first question I have is how close is he to a ceiling? Like I said, it took a while for him to be the O. B. That we know.
Oh, that we've seen this season.
So how close is he to his ceiling? That's the question that I think everyone should have these 22 years old, right? And I'm not saying that's old.
I'm not saying that's Oh, but for him to be the player that he is right now.
It took some years of development, right? He lacks some shifting this in fluidity while he's explosive.
Going up in the air, right? He's not very, is stiff.
He's got a stiff a little bit right.
He's not gonna float around you in and finger roll the ball for lay it.
Whatever you want to say doesn't really have an offensive repertoire.
It was basically like you seen a Mari when he played for the Knicks, and he was trying to learn how to post up.
Marty eventually developed a little bit of a post up game, but Obi is just kind of I'm gonna back you down one way.
Maybe I have a little bit of a drop step.
That's all he has.
Doesn't have much else now.
I think it has many calendars.
Either he'll turn it over.
The average is 2.
2 turnovers per game, especially, you know, some of its past is sometimes I don't want to say is loosey goosey, but maybe he might makes the wrong decision to make them all makes the long pass.
And I question some of his basketball like you.
You know, the CEO is he playing just off off a talent? Um, its strength and size and explosiveness.
Well, does he know the game? What? Does he have a good feel for the game? No.
So there's some questions there that I have about O B.
I like him a lot.
I'm not gonna lie.
I like him a lot, But there's indefinite questions about Obi for me again.
I'm gonna come to you real quick and get your opinion.
Since you're already up here about Obi, and they will go on and get some other people.
What's your take over topping? Oh, we topping me scared Because, um what you get a guy who offensively, you know, he saw right, I think, streamlined 70 some percent from the foul line.
39 73 The guy, he's a physical.
She's a marvel, but physically on offense top right.
His explosive pick and roll. You could be deadly.
Um, you know, a big guy can shoot, Take them from top to the top of the key.
Dropping the wings.
He has a down pack, but like you said, he is very stiff.
You know, you watch clips of him playing defense in space.
All my Lord Jesus is gonna be There's gonna be a nightmare.
They will when we talk.
We used to talk about Oh, the Knicks.
When teams came on a charming a pickle roll and get into cancer, we thought that was ugly.
And use it for a big man like that.
I mean, you can't defend in space.
You can't defend Biggs down low.
Hey, can't defend a pickle roll.
He's just not a good defender and people and sometimes is not just lack of ability is also lack of effort, which is not good.
So I mean, when people and people that say that the marsh I might then we're also remember they built around Amar side of Meyer, right? They did not say he wasn't goodness first few years, but they took a time.
Then you got the right point guard Steve Nash, right? And with how to end a set up.
Now, you know, I'm not saying that we talk is gonna film the first year.
Whatever, but you know, coach and change might change direction.
A team where now open top, get as many touches, right.
And it may be a situation where he has to play defense.
A team that wants to play the passing lanes that stuff and stop certain players, you know? Ah, harass a pickle roll and open time is not gonna fix This will be on offensive player, you know? I mean, that's that's really saw.
So to me, he just get And also he's 22 which I'm not saying Kendall, but we could always develop their guys who develop it every day when the so called many times, whatever.
But you wonder because he goes to school like dating, which I mean their competitions.
Probably not, you know, is dating.
I mean, we also got just the one about level competition and if assumes already capped me.
So I'm not big on Opie title.
Like some other people, I'd rather go.
I mean, if you had to, I say had because people of your heart, I must say I'm just not as high.
It'll be topping defensively.
He is just terrible.
Um, offensively, is he It need be.
Obviously, I'd rather have in the Knox, cause Knox is a terrible defenders.
Well, um, but I know I'm next. I'm next.
I really don't know because offensively be.
I've got like that.
You could run the floor effectively.
The pick and roll would be so effective with him, you'd hope Miss Robinson could shoot you spacing out and run a dangerous several.
You're picking the wrong with Robie and having Mitch stay on the perimeter or close nearby, maybe cuts in.
And so you have someone of a triple threat.
You just have a lot more moving with your bigs in front court.
Bring that pick and roll.
But I don't know. I don't know.
I think that this job was so weak that you look at a guy like open top.
You see, a lot of it is explosive plays on offense.
And you're like, Yeah, man, he's a top four big bit.
Is he top four? You know, last year was he talked three last year against those three guys? That what is he better? Well, laughing hard luck Zion genre R J and people kill me.
But would you take RG? I mean, would you say we'll be talking of R.
J? I I would have Well, he actually declared for the draft last year.
That's something I forgot to mention he declared for the draft last year.
He did some work outs, but he didn't get an agent and he decided to go back.
So what that says is that teams weren't gonna draft them very high, right? He decided to go back to college to play another year because teams weren't gonna drive them very hot.
This was a stronger year.
Would we be taken? We'll be talking Golden topping being over with.
We've, you know, probably more assesses, um, his level competition and point out some of his floors.
The army is you know, when you see a guy like you say you got R J just more intentions I see in our Desi with that secret open top way talking to be a great play I issued on him.
But I'm just I'm just mixed, man, because offensively, I think it would be a nightmare.
But, you know, give us just a just as he take it.
And I think I mean, I guess the thing is, you know, I mean, maybe he wouldn't be that in another draft, But who else do we have to choose from you know the actual cost of Jews from.
So I guess the question is, if he's there, if the melon ball is gone and he's their way, don't want killing Hayes, you don't want I don't want calling What's wrong? Well, I guess you wouldn't take Wiseman.
Say Wiseman and the melon ball is gone.
Were there at the 50.
Do we take him over killing and hes Cole Anthony Tyreese Halliburton.
Oh, I might have to take him over. Hal Boon.
I might, um I, um I might because Oh, my God, this is terrible.
I like how a burden to bullet in a development to sense, I also depends on the coast cause I know Adkinson loves that Pick a role, especially the senator.
I mean, you could have a daily combo and you wouldn't.
You wouldn't if you bring in a guy like Adkinson.
I'm not saying you point out this other beat.
You top it alive, but you can you rely a lot less because it creates space for its played.
A lot of his action is with is like within emotional been space after the pickle roll, right? You don't need a guy that so called beat this man, you know, constant over dribble.
And also some of these men has got to the basket will be a speed demon.
Right? But Halliburton to me, I think even I feel like how big is the type of guy I feel like he went to the Spurs.
Any private development, he developed a little mid range.
Who fixed this form of the shot? Uh, I probably I probably end up taking over just cause the offensive potential ally.
Maybe I try to get a Chris Paul.
I went to next year to get the probable point guard because because I think, I mean, I would and I would if the mellow is gone.
Yes, I'm taking Obie.
Uh, I'm taking Obie between James Wiseman.
I probably go with James Wiseman.
Someone said wise, there's David Robinson.
You guys have no idea what you're talking about. David Robinson.
David Robinson said he likes David Rogers and he tried Thio.
You know, that's like someone who he modeled his game after because, you know, he considers himself a old school center.
That's what James Wiseman said.
That's why people are saying David Robinson robs.
He used to stand down low, but I mean, this guy could develop the strength.
We don't I don't know.
Maybe maybe I'm not making the arrest.
I was David Robertson.
We take eight year old kids.
And because of potential, we say, Oh, here, these Hall of Famers.
They almost they they almost get to the point where it's like, Oh, he's finally MBA playing the 2nd 3rd year, maybe four.
Maybe even after that.
And we talk about guys versus guys who went to a little dig.
Robinson went to military whatever, but, um, who's that? Ah, point was it, uh, was Annapolis? He was in an hour's.
Uh yeah, that's just my way.
Sorry to militate **** military schools, but come on, man.
Let's start with this. This crap.
Now he's David Robertson.
Let me let me get Thio.
Isaiah, are you ready? I don't know.
What I say is that I'm a company.
Kevin, get Kevin's thoughts.
Kevin, have you there? Yes.
How you doing? Yeah, man.
So what's your take, man? We're talking about Obi Topping right now and just looking at would he be the right pick for the next few hours there at six or or any other pick if he's there.
Yeah, well, from what I've seen of him, um, I love him.
I love his energy.
I love his, um, his field for the ball.
Um, I feel as though I mean, people keep talking about his, um, his team defense in his picking low defense.
Um, I'm on the I'm on a thing of I feel as though sometimes the defense defense, the way it's mostly play can be taught.
I mean, I know players should be already known this coming into the game everything.
But sometimes they don't.
And I think with the right defense of coach, I think players can be just as good on defense as they are on walk mints.
Now, I was talking to the guys in the video chat.
I think that, um when we had Woodson, he was a defensive coach and he was able to melt some of those those players that we had, you know, even though we had some studs on defense like Tyson Chandler and I get hooo Iman Shumpert.
But he was still able to get a lot of those players to play the type of defense that that was expected.
So I think with the right defensive coach with the knight, with the right defensive coach with a voice, I think that, um, it was, like, overtopping.
I think they could be, you know, just as good on defense than they are. Offense.
Now, I if he's on the board by the time wherever we pick, um, you gotta ask yourself this question we bought again.
We've always been claiming for a starting dynamic point guard, right? So if he's on the board and let's say Lem ello is gone, but there's Chilean, there's Halliburton and some other point guards that will probably get to later on during the weeks and everything do you go for? You know, Do you go for that point guard or do you go for top it? Well, I mean, that's the question that yeah, that's that s o all right now I'm asking you.
Yeah, you know, probably knows that I'm a Franklin Latina fan.
I would love for him to start.
So, me personally, Yeah.
I'll go get topping and let Frank start.
But I also know that Frank, it's great.
Come out to bench as well.
So again, I would try and go for, you know, go for a point guard.
Everybody knows that I'm high and killing killing Hayes as well.
You know, we've talked about that and everything.
So So how do you think Obi Topping and Frank in that Pick and roll? Because if you got Toby Topping, you gotta have someone who can execute that pick and roll and find him in that pick and roll. Confront. Do it.
Yes, yes, in a heartbeat.
I believe he can do that because that's all framed.
It gets us when he gets his touches, he gets his touches.
But Frank likes to get everybody in ball.
And you saw that with you know what, Mr Robinson? This year I don't know how many, uh, connections they made, but they made a lot of connection.
I think they made more connect brink at all the point guards guys we have on the team.
I think he made more connections with Mitch than anybody.
They Yeah, they definitely had a They had some good chemistry together.
Yeah, I think, um, Frank and top would be great because that's all people keep again.
People keep slamming Frank for not scoring everything, but he's doing the next best thing.
Getting everybody involved and he would be great getting topping involved.
He's the one person on a team that would get him get him the ball, get him where he needs it and not complain about it.
They're no doubt.
Williams in the chat said Obi, his box office.
You right? He might be box office, you know, And and I love everything that I see about him.
You know? I just look at there's just some things that I see that I get concerned about and whether or not he has reached his ceiling.
And that's the shiftiness, the fluidity in his game.
Uh, you know, he's 22 years old.
He still doesn't have great footwork.
You know what I'm saying? You know, some of those things right there just scare me a little bit.
He doesn't have an office of repertoires 22 years old now, doesn't have an offensive repertoire, and I worry about his basketball.
Acknowledge, You know, he jumped around from schools.
It was in, you know.
Well, when he was in Brooklyn, they didn't go to high school, but hey was in Florida and any with the awesome in.
And then he went to prep school.
I worry about him moving around and jumping from coaches and coaches throughout high school.
Where is the lack of the laps and learning basketball? Right? There's a lapse and learning basketball there.
I think maybe, And so I worry about that.
You know what I mean? I worry about that, and whether or not I mean his game is gonna translate to the N B A.
It's going to right in that screen and roll.
But when Marty came in and he was doing that screen and roll and dunking on everybody, he came out of high school.
It came out of high school straight to the MBA and was doing it.
Now you know those guys 22 years old, we'll see what we'll see.
I just worry about some of that basketball like you And, uh, if if his defense of rotations um, you know those type of things, Isaiah in pencil, What's going on with you, bro? Way talk about Toby tapping? Yeah, you know, saying you know what, Tommy man, it's like The big thing that scares me with him is that he's 22 you know, that's that's the thing that's give me a lot with that 22.
So are we looking at his selling? Are we looking at him almost as a finished product? And I know it's crazy to say about a 22 year old, but you know the way the N B A is now.
Guys coming in 1918 you know? So it's like with him, it's like That's That's the part that frightened me the most about him today, you know, he's 22 then we see if selling that we see.
Like you said, he's bouncing around schools.
And then, like you said, his draft card wasn't really that high last year, you know? So, yeah, that's a little telling sign of like, you know, the kind of player because you know what? You watch skipping Sanderson.
You know what? Sometimes, sometimes I say there's those shameless upset, something that was so that stuck out because it was so true.
He was like, you know, I like toward that to a guy, but the job Oh, because Joe boy had an incredible incredible.
You know, the best college season ever.
But it was one season who had been doing it consistently, you know? So afraid that to say that no of toppy.
Did he really have good seed? Did he have a good season before this? Great.
He had a good season before this, Okay, But like his redshirt freshman year, he had a good season.
All right, that's cool.
Because I didn't make a short because, you know, you don't wanna fall in love with a guy because he's, like, a little older.
He has more of a grown man's body versus the young guys and that, No, he's having a good season.
Could that could be just an inflation, you know? So I don't know, man.
And then, like, you know, I'm not really big on his defense, especially he might be more of a condition.
He might be like, you know, we say he played like a Marcel Marceau.
He might be more traditional by 2000.
I'm saying, like a mid range and, you know, uh, power.
Well, he just played like a Murray started mine.
That's like a mid around amid 2000.
Kind of power forward.
And hopefully that can know, translate.
Three shot 39% from three on.
And then here in 2018.
2019 he shot 52% from 3 2000 18 2019 average 14 points in game five rebounds.
You know, a few less minutes because he wasn't starting at the time.
He was a freshman redshirt freshman on old red shoulder Freshman.
Let me say that.
Ah, last year, Oh, this season passing I was 20 points.
I don't know, man ST stayed alive.
I'm gonna answer this call, but it's still gonna be live.
I call the old love another, but next, what's popping? They call you there? I don't know what happened.
Told my guess he's not dead.
All right, um, limit lip.
All right, Nate. So you're still alive? I was there.
Okay, then let me get the angel's somebody.
That and, you know, I'm about to come home, so he'd be ready.
God, Nate, what's going on, man? So, what's your take on this man? So when I watched, I just watched some highlights while you guys were talking, he kind of looks like a cross between a Mari.
I do see a Mari start admiring him.
Also, see a little bit of the honest in him, too.
He's got that really long gate.
He's got that really long athleticism to get to the basket.
Um, he's not the defender.
Of course the honest is but athleticism.
He used pretty dang athletic.
I mean, he's got a long wingspan.
He gets to the basket very easily.
He's great in the pick and roll.
Um, the question I have will be talking is that the Knicks are gonna draft.
Will be talking.
Let's see if he's available.
First off, also this I would take him over all the point guards.
In my opinion, um, I'm not in love with any of these point guards.
I got told you before.
I'm okay with going with the S J or Frank.
Mel Akina, starting the season, Get rid of Peyton.
I don't agree with you.
Didn't really know what you're getting paid for that he's about 26 years old.
I think he is what he is.
Um, I'll be I'll be cool running with the 2 21 year olds.
But anyways, if you're going to get topping, my question is what happens of Julius Randle? Because you have Julius that place before Obie was probably more suited to play the four.
Then you have knocks.
You wanna put it before? I mean, at that point, it was gonna tell your three If you draft Obie, right? You're probably saying, Julius Randle, you're on the road.
You're on the go, You know we're gonna trade, You know, they say, you know, I'm saying if they draft, if they draft Obi and they really believe that he's going to be a star on Powerful in the N B A.
Which you know he will be, you know, his talent, his his speed, strength and ability.
Listen, his 1st 2 years in the n. B.
I think he's going to do well, people gonna like Wow, check this kid out.
My I get afraid the 3rd 4th 5th You know, those 1st 2 years have we seen what he is? You know, I'm saying that's what That's what I get concerned about right there.
You haven't said there's room for him to get better and depending a cinema locks.
You still have that.
You think whoever we get? Yeah, Glad I was there.
I let you good duty.
I don't know what you're talking about.
About what? Haven't.
Haven't beaten really gonna have you take a copy of all the point guard for the girl? Yeah, I do.
Because I don't believe any of these point cares, man.
They'll have big stations.
But I'd rather take supper over.
No toppings to want you.
And you're gonna come to you about those are so so you take him after you take it before the mellow ball too.
Oh, you're crazy.
No, no, not you know you are great.
I'm not drinking the Kool Aid of Lamentable.
Me, Eliza, You okay? Okay.
You gotta understand.
Wait, That can't shoot.
Trade Young kids who have seen war, man.
I say the poor man's Trey young.
They can't shoot.
Have you seen trade? Young patients? Every word.
He's a great passer, bro.
Yeah, but we need shooting man.
We don't need passing as much weight ball.
We need a point guard.
We need Yeah, but we need to establish a point guard that's going to be our point guard for years to come.
Yeah, but you agree We've got to get a point guard that can shoot.
I mean, let's be honest, Wait The point.
You gotta get a point guard that can distribute who's who's about to give will be popular.
Balls will get the ball.
Hey, man, I'm cool.
Frank, man, Frank or D is Jamie's way.
Oday, I'm Everybody knows I love Frank, but if you got a chance to get a metal ball, get in the middle of all you see Oh, Andrew.
And then at the Andrew, I'm coming to Mark.
So you guys let the guys know, All right, Andrew, what's going on? What's the matter? I'm good.
But what's it mean? I'm good, man, I'm good.
What's your title be topping? Ah, man.
I mean, I'm not looked at some of these highlights and look at how you're playing things like that.
But on I'm not as high as him as when Nate was saying because, man, I mean, the guy's already 22 years old when you when you fell over guys that age, when they're coming and they're already what they are Unison.
I'm saying, like, you know, I'm not that soul because there's a lot of free agents on a market.
This is gonna be available that can you could just plugged in and have them play before.
So I started using that top draft pick on the guy that's already 20 tune.
We can get yourself a play that we know it probably could be impact play or maybe a season or two away.
You know, I'm not going to take a guy that he's old and Frank.
He's older than he is, J but older than Knox already, right? All right, all right, all right.
I'm not I'm not that sold on him.
He He's 22 already. Friends, Not even 22.
Mitch is not even 20.
No, I get that. But let me ask you this, though.
Because you said when the guys 22 they're kind of already what they are.
I would disagree with that.
The thing about Tyler Hansbrough when everybody was so sold on him and you basically what he was he didn't last in the NBA.
I got four years.
I mean, that that's gonna happen.
And there's some guys that there's some guys that came out was supposed to be the best thing ever.
And it lasts an MBA too, right? I mean, it works both ways because you have, you know, this plenty of guys.
I mean, think about it.
So you're gonna tell me when frightening Latina turns 22 you're gonna say, Oh, he is what he is now.
But the reason I'm sent out with these guys, how much is he going to improve at the N B.
A level way coming.
Your rookie, right? They give you a year to tool two, maybe three years.
Okay, You're gonna develop into something.
So you have that time Unless you're gonna be impact player right away.
So, like, OK, we're gonna wait for 25.
That be something? We're gonna wait till 24.
See the thing I think about the way he has to be a game change of right.
So she coming? He's a game changer.
I think about him.
See this? See, this is where what I think about him.
I agree with you.
We don't know if he's already leased to sailing or not.
And when I look at you know it's footwork and I look at certain things, you know, it makes me question because he's 22 he doesn't have fluidity is probably never gonna be real fluid, right? Never gonna be real light and ginger on his feet.
Um, I don't know if that means that he can't be, uh, you know, you can't have a really good career, you know? But he's never gonna be those things, but because he doesn't have those things now 22 that also makes me question whether or not you know he's going to develop how much more he's gonna he's gonna develop Maur.
But how much more is he gonna feel that that's what I wear? I think that would be a player.
See, I think when he comes in because of what he has, he's gonna come in and make an impact, in my opinion, because of what he already has.
He has good size.
He has good strength.
He has good speed.
I think the 1st 2 years were going to come in and make an impact and then I question after those 1st 2 years, 2 to 3 years after those 2 to 3 years, is he gonna level off and not continue to ascend? That's what I worry about William, because I don't know because because he's 22 years old, he may come in and be like, Boom, boom, Bowman.
He go up his 1st 3 years, you go up and then kind of level off.
That's what That's what I worry about.
What? I'm not sure because I'm not like that.
That's the case.
I'd rather get one of these veterans that can play before.
That's not going to men.
A lot of money that's gonna help.
TC is young guy on the plane.
You know, Simpson, I could plug them in.
They already know.
I'm saying they already know, understand or spit within a team concept, and then we draft the best guy available by me.
No, I mean, I want either Anthony Edwards on the memo.
That's who I'm looking at because to me they have been that much greater.
I'm signing both like 18 years old and already they already looked like guys that they look like they're ready to me not so much of the mellow cause you don't if it's a challenging the Anthony Edwards, you could move him and you could put him at the tomb.
You could put our Jade in, which I think is more suited for his position because he could be more of a slasher.
At worst is more of the shooter slash penetrator and a broken, finished semi transition transition.
And whether my point guard is this part of the point.
Got to simply needs to be a distributor.
Helped him get into the Office of Flow quickly, and I think that's better.
Put it for the team, since that's more for I'm not that sold on home.
You know, I'm not sold on toppings, and I know earlier talking about home that works.
Now we'll talk about wise man wise me only a wide what Wiseman wasn't at home.
I mean, he's calling on my own with my issue with him.
Is is the pick and roll defense, you know, n B A.
It's it's a pickle roll lead throughout the seasons.
Roll picture on Crazy.
So that's the thing.
I'm kind of worried about him with, you know, something that we need center.
There's a plethora of centers out.
You know you have Airman Baines.
Maybe DeMarcus cousins will be healthy as an experiment that I'm not too subtle.
If we're gonna go center route at any point, we need a bona fide backup center.
I believe that much will be it Does Mitt start next year? I don't know. We'll see.
But I believe Mitch will be your starting center.
We need so you're going to be a backgammon.
Games will be a good backup center.
Okay, but, you know, but it personally, we have to get the best guy available.
You go for the best guy available, and if we get the number one pick, I'm torn between Edwards and the metal, okay.
And me, personally, I want let alone I want Edwards got thing right away.
He comes in here and shoot three an attack.
You know, he has a three game.
He has they get away to the basket game.
It doesn't necessarily have the full of jump shot mid range, but that can come and develop.
And Kenny Atkinson is the coach.
He definitely is gonna know what we do at work.
So where he dips a dimwit.
I think that would help out Knocks a lot.
And it's definitely help out, Frank.
That's why I hope that's the pick we get because it would just help us out tremendously.
And, you know, I think Let me get to this phone call.
Let Martin know I'm coming to him after this.
Phone calls will be ready.
All right? You're alive with nothing but necks.
What's popping? All right.
What's going on with you? Brought your feeling I'm good.
And you're talking about a wishes draft, right? Um, but I would go with Moby, um, for a lot of reasons, right? I don't know if you remember from the teeth.
They looked at his drug board on this.
They were saying the same things about Tatum that they sent about Gobi topping that stiff.
He's reaches ceiling on other stuff like that.
So, considering that I think he'd be a good prospect for us, what we could do, I would say a scenario is that we have the 27th pick.
We've untried that thick with Julius Randle to move up to like the 15th of the 20th pick.
What do you What do you think? I mean? Well, let me say it looks like we'll probably be its own satellite TV. Fall off.
What's wrong? I mean, it depends on, you know, you trade them to what you got to take back, you know, I mean, because if you're gonna trade Julius Randle, your minds will not take any money back.
You know, take anymore. It is going to extend.
You know what I'm saying? Um, so it or if you are going to change you these, Randall, make sure you're getting something back from train.
Julius Randle. I would try to do it for Chris Paul.
I get as well, because if he has crisp all under contract, I think its contract and also then intruder also Gallinari.
All right, So we would treat our 27th pick plus Junior Julius Randle for them.
I don't know if they want Julius Randle.
Well, it might just use all three.
We never know because Gallinari once I can extend the contract, Trudeau ones possibly want to start in Rome.
But I don't think he likes coming off the bench.
anyhow, so that might be an option for us.
And we just take o b.
Well, we'll see what happens.
May I appreciate your call, man.
Time to get the marking and chat.
All right, All right, all right.
Appreciate it. May go call.
And, ladies and gentlemen, uh, after this show at 12.
20 I'll be on the front stoop for about 30 35 minutes.
So make sure you join me on the front stoop on, but to put their linking the chat mark comments.
Actually, the links in the description in this video going to the description of this video would subscribe to the Channel Marker.
What's popping with you, bro? This quirky man was going on, so talk to me. Mad.
So Obi Obi is like the last resort type of pick for the next, because he's gonna be impact player.
So depending on the team draft him depended on depending on the penalty falls, too.
And I feel with him he goes everything.
Everything, everything on the floor.
Very, very well.
I people talk about his defects hiss, lateral movement.
It's not good, but it's not like he don't try, but he's not a perimeter type of a big man.
I could go out the pregnant.
He will get beat every time because of its stance is very vertical.
And this stance.
So he's not gonna be a very ah ah lateral defender.
What he will try.
Don't call them like the dew is just absolute in that area.
I think he's the most.
I think he's the most.
I think he's one of the top passes in college.
Also, I think it is.
Ah, his high, low, high, low high, low game is exceptional on MBA training, his games restrained like to the MBA he could make those cross pass shots are passes.
This offense is gonna be a good.
He's gonna be a good offense, offensive player with the right guard with him, Get a little talk.
He's a great low post low post.
Pass it to He knows when the double team is coming.
You know how the techies just a high I Q basketball player, but for the Knicks, I'm going to go with the younger guys before I take him because he's 22.
I don't think he's gonna be all star, but could he could.
He surprised me on the right team. Yes, he can.
Yes, he can because he is a lot of his Gamera Mommy Ah, banned from Miami.
It's not going to give you 20 points, but he does everything well.
Everything well and band was an All Star.
But with the right team, I could put in a position like Miami put Bamboo position.
He can be and also because he can effect gains because he is a playmaking big.
You watch this kid.
He's honestly used probably one of the best college place of the ship if you just watch him.
If you just watch the place he makes, he's making place where his teammates not go all the way around.
He's making plays for the team as a big man.
It was going to him high low.
He was making all those passes.
Man is intriguing, but for the next no, I wouldn't take.
I would have taken this early.
That's why it's kind of kind of skeptical where the next pick and I hope we don't pick number one because I think that's a lot of pressure.
I definitely take him number one.
I would not take him number one.
No, no o B O B O B b like a 4 56 pick.
I would take our taking.
Both wanted a lot off a lot of those guards in a draft.
What going? Who would you take me measly, mellow first, and I'm kind of I'm kind of wishy washy.
I'm kind of side and side.
Decide what? Wiseman and Edwards.
I love Edwards because he could do a lot on the floor.
He could score all three levels at N Ba buys me reminds me, and I've been be coming out of college even though he had three games.
But for you to put, you know, 20 and 10 for you three games.
Not a lot of guys come in college and do that for the 1st 3 games.
There is high potential when he's right, he's rolling certain aspects, but he has a good.
He has a good mid range jump shot.
He's a big man, very agile.
You can rebound, we can split and he's bigger than and be.
Right now, he's wait to seat wait to 65 right now, and He's if you watch, and now if you go to censor him right now, he's getting in shape.
Now he's working with the same train Old Depot is working with, and he's all he already is in shape.
It's already put on muscle.
So that the kid, the kid you could tell the kid, wanna be great.
So that's a plus.
I thought he weighed 2 35 No, he's big.
He was bigger than and be before he started working out, broke and beat its 2 50 Right now, everything, everything.
Everything I see about him, he's to 35 to 37.
Now he's to 65 bro.
I see nothing we used to 65 having missed 2 65 66 11 6 11 7 foot 7171 He said, OK, so long.
So the reason why I like Wiseman a lot, because now hey, I talked about Mitch because Mitch is that such a offensive player, his game is going to regress in so many ways because he doesn't look too even shoot the ball.
He has a stroke because he can shoot free throws, so he has a touch of that.
But his mentality.
It's like sort of a Frank is not gonna take the shot.
He's gonna do what he's comfortable is doing.
So in that case, his game's gonna regress.
So as of right now, if you look to the league right now, you look at all the big men in there right now.
Mitch could guard some some of them, But could he go back, back and forth with them? You say couldn't catch up with these big things like that? No.
No So wise men for the front court.
He could do a lot for us for rebounding.
He can be a potential of potential great post defender.
And just like Trent Trent, he could be in B.
I see a lot of them be because when a bee came out of you watching the Kansas, you didn't think anybody was gonna be.
This good is impeding what's completely healthy.
Dropped lead and beat is a tough love play in this league and be the top five play in this league.
Offensively and defensively.
He impact both of the floor, but because he can't stay on the blessing, stay on the floor, but because he has knickknacks in.
He's not consistent away.
People really, really, really wanted to be and really dominate.
I would dominate Dominate.
Mitch is gonna be mystical.
Kind of regressed to be a a bench player until he show that he wants to be that guy because we don't we don't the ball don't revolve around Mitch.
Not if you get wise.
May is going to revolve around him.
Think so Because he's got a big was gonna revolve around.
No. Think about it. A wise man.
Yes, I had that kind of scoring game.
Most of its most famous going is coming over the same way Mitch is getting is an MBA.
No kind of school game sets sets when you watch the kids.
When you watch the kid, he has a jump shot.
Number one post.
It's just, like, wouldn't be if you if you if you watch and be from the day he was in Kansas, Watson has great footwork, just like in beaded.
But indeed wasn't B was nowhere.
We're wise in this right now. Nowhere.
He has good for one, but I don't think he comes in the n b A and you're revolving your offense around? No, but no, no.
You going Just office potential of his raw potential.
You're gonna want you going.
You're going to do that.
You're gonna You're gonna revolve the team around him because number one, he has the highest ceiling he would have the high you see along the team.
So you a lot of the offense is gonna run to him so he could get the touches to see what he can do.
Mitch is not a player like that.
Mitch is our high energy big name until he shows he wants that responsibility offensive.
I don't think he's going to be that way because you don't have footwork.
Like like like wise, innit? So what it is, it's tricky with Mexico pick, because that's that's the dilemma.
That is the dilemma is really dilemma.
So I likewise been told Toby is a life story.
I think Toby would be great on a team that's established you go to, I will say, like Golden State.
And in some cases we will be excellent there because I don't I have a feeling that Golden State might want to They want to trade.
They want to trade out if they want to get the first, but I heard they want to trade out of it.
They want to trade out of it, and I think all the talking will be the guy because he could do a lot.
He does a lot what they want in a in a big man.
He's gonna play a lot of five and have him with those shooters and drama.
He's going to be an impractical plan.
Why isn't it? It's I want the limo's.
My God never work.
I just want to get the point guard.
I just want to point guard.
But if supposedly we don't get that someone tickling mellow.
I just is a toss up between him and Edwards and I think I might take the big guy.
Just the big just changes the game a lot.
When you really think about it, just look at the lead man.
A lot of teams, great bigs, man.
Just look at young keeps man.
I would rather than big because they controlled a lot longer floor ed in playoff contention, you can do a lot and they're very needed big.
A lot of people think it is a garlic knows very is a very big meat leak.
Still, people would have to think about that.
The next to me for interior.
We really do. Yeah.
Remind me to get you.
Just let me get to this phone call, man, and then I'm about to head to the front stoop.
I want to do the show.
Let me get to this phone call real quick.
All right? Call the You allow another. Buttons was popping.
Hey, are you doing? This is royal, and nothing is We're not gonna get the mellow ball or any other nice point guard.
We should definitely go with broken up the front line because a lot of our front line guys are older.
You know, the Bobby Porters, the We need somebody young somebody fresh down there so we can get a good point.
We should go up. Maybe a topping.
Or maybe even a Wiseman.
Yeah, I mean, right now, I mean, if we can't get a good point guard, If you can't get the mellow, then I think it's it's up in the air.
You know, in looking at one of those guys.
If you can get that's for me.
We have a lot of guards sitting on the bench not doing anything.
We want to bring in more guards.
We can't get the d point guard the point guard that we really want.
And we should think about broken up the front line of some young guy.
Especially if the China trade Randall.
Firstly, if Portis is not gonna be around for a long time, especially if sending name Gibson, we get rid of him Who we're gonna have.
Right now, I feel you.
I feel you're gonna have you got the feeling that feeling that front line of depending on what happens in free agency Well, the draft is going to be before free agency anyway.
But yeah, I feel you.
Is this It just seems like we are just thinking one minded as far as point guard, point guard point our point guard.
And we need to think about the whole team concept as faras 125 who were gonna follow who at the bench and definitely just broken up.
Honestly, Athletic to them.
A lot of time when you're going against teams look like Johannes.
We don't have nobody to come.
Actually, honest, we don't have anybody.
I can match it with Anthony Davis and B.
So I mean, like, we gotta get real serious thoughts.
Like God, like watchman.
Just just some sort of florida.
So I'll bring in somebody.
Yeah, and my high.
Remember, we got two picks in the draft.
Yeah, I understand that.
Maybe somebody late, but like I said, it's a shouldn't be just one approach kind of thing where we're just looking at the point guard point about point guard, and we're not thinking about a whole team aspect.
You know that? That the three before the five, the front line is just a bunch of veteran players that on one or two year contract I feel you, man.
I appreciate your call, man.
I gotta head over to the front stoop height.
I appreciate I appreciate it, man.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your time.
I'm about to head over to the front stoop, so I hope that you head over there with me, All right? And please subscribe to the channel.

You know, whatever we're gonna talk about.
Ah, big shot audition for Robinson, though for the super check.
You said Nate is high are mellow May is not high on the mellow but is high on Frank I get you my man.
Ah, yeah, I know.
I don't know what Nate went, but yeah, no doubt.
Um, and then Danny Thomas taken for the super chat.
You said I don't think the mellow was gonna be at be there when we draft, but I'll be topping you said draft Obi Top and trade Randall for Kelly.
You bray get Candy Ackerson and Woodson on the stairs.
And you see, we'll see what happens there, man.
That could be a plane. I don't know.
You don't say? Um, but anyway, ladies and gentlemen, I am about to get up out of here.
Had no one to the front stoop.
Supposed to be on that 12 20.
All right, I seen somebody just go a little crack at me.
Dup dee Public Enemy said nothing but Nick's will work on one twos and threes and a B C's next show for your slow.
I don't know what he's trying to say, but anyway, um, he said we were slow.
They he called me slow.
Maybe I am slow. I don't know.
Maybe I'm saying things back was tonight.
I could be slow.
Anyway, I'm outta here.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you, guys for joining me, anyone that I didn't get a chance to get to apologize.
You know, I'll be back on Friday.
We have to get to you on Friday.
