that was just the headphones.
I am back with another video for you guys.
Last year I did waas the impact of transfers in college football and basketball.
Also read the incident delay rules for transfers and eligibility.
You guys should check that out about a 40 minute video.
Also gave a story time about my transfer background.
I was not instant ballet I was in a but some.
They have some of the same rules that the devil has, so basically, they're almost just about the same.
So you guys go check that out.
So it's a **** is dedicates the instep places the last day of the night.
I am doing the impact of coaching changes and incidental A our money going to college football and basketball.
You guys know those are the two cup sports I cover the most before against that video.
Don't forget to follow me and simply me underscore a V on Twitter.
I am a part of the unwrapped sports network, and you guys can see now let's get into the video before I start that video of some news that happened about three or four hours ago.
Radford Grant transfer car leak car lik Jones or Carly Jones has community Louisville.
He's number one draft number one grad transfer in the country.
He was a big South player of the year.
Average 20 points, UH, 5.
1 rebounds and 5.
Louisville's getting a great, um, grad transfer and Mr Jones.
Also, they have a committee that declare for the NBA draft.
He's a juco commit, but let's see if he keeps his name in or if he goes to Louisville.
I'm not sure how many players Louisville is going to lose this year, but looks like they're trying to.
Then you know they're gonna lose a couple.
So trying to re up.
Ah, they finished third tied for second in the A C. C.
That share behind Virginia in Duke.
I think it was smart of state, Virginia, Duke and Louisville.
They get the number one Brad transfer in the country.
Um, I think his name is Khaliq.
Carly Carlette Jones.
I want to say that's how you say his name.
Um, he's a big star player of the year.
He is now going to Louisville, so I have to say that also also, they changed the format of unsuitable a tournament.
This year, even though there's not a tournament, I'm going to talk about the changes.
Because when I talked about, incidentally, tournament before, I said the men's game would be on Monday ruins game would be on Tuesday, actually, this year, because that's usually how it goes.
Men's on Monday, Women's on Tuesday.
Actually, this year the men's game would be tomorrow.
Because this 11 Pete is 11:17 p.m.
here, and the women's game would have been tonight.
But usually it's Monday, Tuesday, But this year coming up, it would have been Sunday Monday, someone to correct myself on that as well, so the women would have played on the third and the fifth and Final 4/3 in the fifth championship game, the fifth.
The man played the fourth of the six championship game on the six.
My Final Four women's teams would have been Baylor, Louisville, South Carolina in Oregon.
I would have Bailey won that last year.
Messy Best Thank you for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
Bailey Woman won it last year.
I probably would've picked South Carolina women to win it this year, long as they weren't met.
Well, yeah, I would have picked South Carolina women.
South Carolina women.
The winning dish in shots of Dawn Staley.
She won coach of the year, the only coach to win player of the year and coach of the Year.
She won Player of the Year University, Virginia, Two times in a row.
And then she won coach of the year this year, shot to Dawn Staley.
She's basically rebuilt that program, and they have pretty much taken over the SEC of them.
UM, Michigan missions like Mississippi State.
Their coach just left for Texas.
Their coach actually just left to go to University of Texas.
Vic skate for Schaefer.
Vic Schaefer is the new women's coach at Texas after spending the last eight season season building a powerhouse at Mississippi State.
So he just left Mr the State for Texas.
Texas hasn't been what I was in college.
Texas was really, really good.
They had some really, really good players.
Tiffin Jackson was one of my favorite players to watch your Texas um, they have a new women's basketball coach in Texas.
Now, Mr the state is looking for a new coach.
So, Mr Bi State, South Carolina, gonna see was on that hilltop for so long.
They want a hilltop for so long.
Um, r p the Pat Summitt great women's basketball coach.
She was the most winning this coach in the history until she's Chayefsky pastor, I think maybe two or three years ago, um but, yes, they have pretty much taken over the SEC.
In my opinion, Mr the State of South Carolina, Kentucky is pretty good as well, so they've pretty much taken over the SEC.
But that's some news out of women's basketball that that would have been my pick to win it all.
That means I have no clue there.
There, incidentally, term is so unpredictable the women's tournament has been getting better over over years.
You have South Carolina upset UConn.
Excuse me? Mississippi State upset you count on the last second shot.
A couple of no, it's gonna be That means you have no clue.
I don't know who my Final Four would have been for.
The man's honestly, because you always have those mid majors that sneak in and there because there's one game against a team you haven't probably haven't seen before.
And it's like, Boom, Okay, one gang, just one game.
Women's time is pretty predictable.
You kind of know who's going to the men's teams.
The talent is so spread out that you just don't know.
My prediction for the women means I have no clue.
So the man's game would have been tomorrow and win this game with him tonight.
In the past, the men played on Monday.
The women played on Tuesday in the past.
Let me make sure I'm right.
Let me make sure I'm right.
Guys, hold on just one second.
I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.
Um, the women play Tuesday.
The men play Monday.
Okay, Now I need to give my calendar.
One second Yet the West Tuesday.
No bills Monday.
They played on Monday election.
One of the men play I thought they played on Tuesday.
Final 3 25 or why 30 30 24.
Carlyle last year.
Nor Dane be Anya is in the game.
Then maybe I were this game.
Then they beat your day championship game.
Okay, it was almost seven.
So what'll Sunday? I thought it was Monday.
Tuesday on a wipe all Monday Tuesday.
I don't know where they came from. Guys, I'm sorry.
So it ears Anthony Grant was your, um, culture here for the man's Dayton dating coach? Nice moves.
Coach of the Year.
Um Dostal e was the AP culture here for the women's for South Carolina, And then you guys know Sabrina owner Sudoku on a school, I want to say, was the women's um next to play the year and guys that will be topping Dating was national player of the year, so he, um in his coach or both.
Next NIF coaching here and play of the year shut outside.
Dayton Shots Oregon.
I think they probably wouldn't play South Carolina in the national championship game for the women, and I think the Dawn Staley would one that one.
I don't know where I got Monday, Tuesday I mean, Monday, Tuesday from. So it's Sunday. Monday.
I don't know where I got that from anyway.
Guys, that's it.
I've spent some time talking about that I want to make sure that I got it correct.
Now let's get into the topic.
The topic is the impact of coaching changes in the S C. Double A.
I'm gonna give you guys some numbers, and I'm gonna ask these questions at the end.
So I'm doing college football and college basketball.
Uh, Cubby girl, Thank you for drawing the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
There are 24 coaching changes this year.
So far thus far, no hi.
Major college football programs have changed coaches.
So none of the no sorry 24 coach and changes in college football.
This is for basketball there.
21 for college basketball, all mid majors.
None of the high major schools have changed coaches yet.
Sorry, guys, that was.
That's for basketball.
21 for basketball, mid majors only know hi majors.
24 for football.
So let's get into college basketball.
This will give you some notable coaching changes.
Rick Pitino is not Iona.
He's replacing Tim clues.
So Tim closes out.
Rick Pitino is an and Iona.
Let's see how he does.
I'm pretty sure you can get kids to go to Iona.
Um, just off him being Rick Pitino.
Honestly, Grand Canyon Bryce Drew is in.
Dan Marley is out.
So brush Jewish and and Marley is out.
You guys know this name? Billy Billy Gillespie.
Controversial coach Billy Gillespie is Ian.
Chris Reisman is out at Tarleton State.
So that's just some notable coaching changes in Ah, college basketball thus far.
The biggest name, of course, is Rick Pitino.
The second biggest name is Billy Gillespie, so they're coaching at mid majors.
I'm pretty sure can get kids until their program.
Bryce Drew can't as well, so we'll see how that goes.
Most notable for college football, Greg, she know, is an Chris Ashes out at Rutgers for the state.
Willy Taggert is out.
Mike Norval is in.
Oh, mys Mike, Look, it's out.
Lane Kiffin is in my kitchen, back in the FCC butt head coach.
This time I'm in Washington.
Chris Peterson is out.
Jimmy Lake is in Mississippi State.
Joe Moorehead is out.
My bleaches in Mike Leach.
What came from Washington State? Um, that rule is out.
Billy is in at Baylor.
That rule once of the Carolina Panthers, San Diego State, Rocky longest out.
Brady Hoke is inbred, he hoped, used to coach at the University of Michigan.
They gave him, like, a couple of seasons and I said, Okay, this is not Michigan football.
He didn't do that well at Michigan.
We did little to Michigan standards.
Jim Harbaugh is not living up to Michigan State, and it's either let's see if he can turn it around.
Of course, you guys know Mike reaches out, Nick Roll of Itch is in.
A lot of people, um, Michigan State.
Mark Dantonio is out.
Mel Tucker is in F a. U.
Willy Taggert is.
And, of course, like if it is out of the lane, Kiffin goes from F A.
No, that makes it yourself.
I liked him at Texas has got That's that They've been playing very good college football.
Charlie Strong's record on particular is pretty darn good.
So University of South Florida, by the way, guys, I want to look at his record.
Let's look in chocolate.
Strong record, maybe.
No wonder they let him go.
I thought he was doing pretty good.
I think about 2017 season made.
And maybe I'm thinking about you.
See, if you never get a chance before this.
It's so good that you accept was tending to and Childs and 17 you guys know Texas let go.
Tom Herman is not a coaching when he sensing Ah, hockey guy to 2 to 8.
Thank you for joining Broadcast.
I appreciate it.
The bull start the seat.
The 17? No before.
Okay, so in 2018 they started seven, and oh, and then they went for in 14 last 18 games, there were only six right versus rent opponents and Charlie Strong Story here that you yourself.
I'll get it so good.
Um, I hope he gets another coaching opportunity.
Trouble Strong also posted a 37 in 15 record as the Wave your coach in 10 4013.
Accepted insistent for 44 different times.
He's Yeah, his record of Texas wasn't good at all.
Um, three years he was 16 and 21.
That will not let you keep your job at Texas with that record at all.
Um, basically, if you're Texas, you're commit you're competing against University of Oklahoma for recruits and the goats of the costume ball playoff because we've been for the past five years.
So that's those a coaching changes so far in college football.
And so far in college basketball, there are 24 in college football, 21 in college basketball, all mid major.
So far, no major coaching changes have been made in those those power conferences.
Now water cultures leave.
They get fired, Uh, two.
They probably get into the program, and it's probably a mutual agreement.
Like sometimes they'll say such and such a such a such decided to part ways like University of Texas and Charlie Strong decided to part ways, you know, they fired him.
I'm just giving you guys an example.
Decided to part ways they part ways because maybe their views don't match.
I know Charlie Strong.
There was a rumor saying that he laid a lot of guys go a lot of those guys that we're getting a lot of playing time starters.
He let those guys go because they did not fit what he wanted to do with the University of Texas academically personality wise, um, conduct conduct wise as well, so he led a lot of guys ago.
So it could be a mutual agreement by your sometimes family.
Your family is like, Hey, you know, I want you at home or I want you closer to home or talk about family justice.
Last Also, health might be Antonio is Ah.
You don't know what you calling him, Mike? Let me look.
Oh, saying okay.
And my health is not right.
Um, I'm just gonna go to retire.
Also, Urban Meyer Urban Meyer was the same way.
His health was not right.
People are trying to bring him back in the coach.
And I think he likes to be an ****yst on Fox.
Well, he's a great ****yst.
He's not biased towards Ohio State either.
Um, I like urban Meyer a lot as an ****yst, but people are trying to get him back and coaching.
Martin Antonio kind of shocked the world and resigned from Michigan State for health reasons.
So those are the reasons why coaches leave, um, mutual agreement being fired.
Family in health.
I think of the main reasons finances never reaching their paintings, coaches a lot of money to come.
Coach um, the junk man so and mold them as well.
Now, how does this impact transfers and current players? Now, if you guys didn't hear my story, I'll tell it again.
We'll give you a brief background when I went to you know ST Gregory's University in a I By the way, um, I was brought in by a guy that was his first year, but he saw me playing my freshman year in college because he was the men's coach of the team that I played for, So he already saw me playing.
Actually, I want to come play for him, and I was like, Yeah, I liked his personality.
Um, he ran a couple of our practices like we did the women's culture into the guy's practices.
The man's coach ran two of the women's practices used to always watch me play.
He used to help me, used to help me, Ah, shooting girls and things like that.
My freshman year, also my junior year, when I got the same Gregor's.
So sometimes coaches being bring players and from different programs.
They also bring their coach and stabs with them as well, because that's the system they want to run, They get guys that know their system.
No, they're Burbage and things like that.
So that's why it impacts players that are already there.
Because you're you're saying, OK, when the coach comes and sits in your living room, a lot of times they're saying, Okay, um, I'm gonna be there for your son or your daughter.
Um, the whole step it away.
You're like, OK, uh, the family gets comfortable with the coach.
The player gets comfortable with the coach or the coaching stand, the coach and stuff you like. Okay, cool.
Like he's gonna be here two or three years of four year.
Have a long I'm gonna be here.
He's gonna be here.
But that doesn't happen on that rule.
Got his guys in Baler.
And then when those rumors started to circulate about him going to the Carolina Panthers, he'ii that leaving and going to Carolina.
Mad Rule used to coach at Temple.
Walker used to play quarterback cement rule, but tell you how this works. P. J.
Walker was an exit fell, He said the Houston Roughnecks had the best record in NFL.
He was on the exit fail.
He was the best player in the exit. Fail.
He got signed to guess with Carolina because guess who coached him at Temple Maverick Oceana Temple.
Some admiral know what kind of player? He He could put the system.
Also, they let Cam Newton go who they signed.
They signed somebody next on the coals.
Let me see the Carolina Panthers sign.
I want to make sure I get this right.
Care Pants was gonna feel well.
I see the sign transactions.
Let's look at their transaction.
They got Robbie Anderson and receiver to you.
They saw Teddy Bridgewater.
He stayed within the division three year contract with Teddy Bridgewater.
They released air. Agreed.
And Greg Olson is gone.
Looky Clea. Retired.
Course you guys know Met rule is now the coach there.
I believe they got him from the exit.
Feel. Let me make sure.
I'm pretty sure that's that's how it went.
I don't want to be wrong.
I don't want to be wrong.
He went to Temple Member was his culture temple he bought him.
And so they got three quarterbacks in the rocks.
The Teddy Bridgewater would probably remember why PJ Walker and we'll.
Grid Grid Grid was a quarterback in West Virginia.
They will battle for the number two spot, in my opinion, but your starter is Teddy Bridgewater, drafted by Minnesota, got injured, had a horrific injury.
I think he was in practice, my contact.
And then he went to the Jets.
Then he got traded to the Saints.
And then the sense that Okay, cool breeze, assign another two year deal.
Hey, Bridgewater stepped in and played beautifully for Drew Brees when he was out with an injury to his, I think, its thumb.
And then they said he played for a contract that's basically with Teddy Bridgewater.
Did he play for a contract? Tae Bridgewater being outside South Carolina Panthers kill our Panthers.
Then let um, Cam Newton go.
That's still a free agent, by the way.
And then they signed P. J. Walker.
I was happy for him, and Rogue, I think, was already on the roster.
So that's how that happened.
So that's how I can affect um, how do you look at certain things because your coach can bring you in because you fit his system so they could work as well.
But transpires when you transfer, you got another situation you're going into from experience.
I mean situation.
I was born to an extent Gregory's, but I did not know what Dr is.
I'm not saying it was a mistake because I learned a lot in the player.
But I should say that Hillsdale, two years then transferred to ST Gregory's inflate their two years because that Jarvis, I don't know what I was going into a sand Gregory's.
I knew what I was wanting to.
I mean the coach personally and things like that.
I got recruited by an assistant to Goto drivers, but I had not met the coach.
I drove down to Texas, make the coach.
Oh, I didn't know any of the players at all.
Um, didn't meet the players, will there some players that came from Oklahoma with me, but I didn't meet the player.
They're already there, so I had no clue I went into I would I would advise.
I would tell my younger self something I'll say Hey, Amber, don't ever do that again.
Of course, I can't do it again.
But I would never do that again.
I should have stayed there for two years and he left and went somewhere else and play for two years.
And she living you? Liar! I knew the ST Gregory situation.
I'm going out and doing some workouts.
Met the players and things like that.
Win till great situation.
There. Got a great opportunity to play.
You've got to get the finish.
But I got a great opportunity to play.
So you gotta know your situation when you transfer.
That's number one rule.
I think you've got no your academic situation.
You gotta know you're playing situation.
Academic first to see what? What? Great.
What courses Transfer.
I talked about that in the last video about how you can see what credits transferred was credits.
Don't That's important.
Also athletic standpoint.
Is this gonna work? You know where I am? On the depth chart Number one or number two and I'm not gonna see any playing time. You gotta know.
Gotta know your situation, and we're gonna be comfortable with this team with this coaching staff with his University of with this college, if so many factors and transpired So a coach can make you feel real comfortable.
My coaches anger greasy men.
You feel real comfortable.
Hey, Chancellor, their transplant.
They're going to send in time.
Now, if you're already there, you get a new coach.
That impacts as well.
Some whom do. I should have system.
What do I do? He's bringing his guys in.
I don't know if his guys in and my guys, his guys and guys already here.
Meche, that's that.
That's also an issue.
So that is a lot of things that factor into that.
I could go really deep into that.
But I'm not gonna do that.
Guys are 25 minute video, all right? Family adjustments.
So Matt Rule went from living in Waco to move into Carolina on moving his family.
That Carolina family has to adjust schools, kids.
Okay, where my kids go to school.
Okay, If I'm taking care of my parents, I could find my parents somewhere to live.
Um, from taking care of other family members.
Don't have class a way for them to live.
The university's really do a good job of it. Big universities.
I'm really do a good job of that Because they have the money and you're making the money so you can kind of figure out.
Okay, Well, I need to do next to have my family.
Just, You know, your kids are some at a place for so long, and then they have to uproot and move.
But that's that's the life of a college coach.
Box Deuce was that? Oh, you felt I was eight with that, Are you? I want to say and his family knew life.
Um, growing out his son.
Now Drake Stoops place for Oh, you course.
Bob Stoops retired.
And then now he is coaching a Dallas.
Renegades expects it fell team.
So he got tired of coaching and then got bored.
Hey, wanted to get back in the coach.
And I watched the interview from Bob Stoops, but his family knew Norman.
I mean, they know Norman.
Barry Switzer's another guy.
His family knew Norman birds.
What's it stays right off campus right across the street from law school from the lost little bear switches states his house is right there.
So Norman is all pretty much all he knows, and he talks about that. A lot of wealth.
Course you guys know he coached arm the Dallas Cowboys as well.
From thinking correctly.
I know Jimmie Johnson.
D'oh! Yet be because telescope was on the wall.
Um, Pecos Dallas Cowboys as well.
So he Norman was home for him, though.
He came back, built the house in Normandy.
He lives a normal right off right off campus, right across true from law school on this one. Barry Switzer lives.
So your families have to adjust to where you live, where you move, but they gotta know. Okay.
My dad's a head coach is gonna sit down, explain this to me or my mom's that head coach.
She's gonna sit down, explain to me like, Okay, you know, I don't know how long we're gonna be here, but we're here for the time being.
You know, you have to sit out with your wife or your husband, say, Hey, we could be here for this year.
We could be somewhere else next year. I just don't know.
So that's that's a conversation that you have amongst your family.
So, guys, that is it.
The impact of coaching transit agency Double a, um, I want to give you guys.
I gave you guys a little background story of my coaching impact.
I'm to give you another story is well, before I get off.
So I had a friend that played ups U T s A.
Which is the University of Texas Senate on you? Yes.
You are seeing Texas at Senate on he also you tsa.
She got an opportunity to go play for Ohio State.
Um, she was going to play at Ohio State.
I think her coach got let go from thinking, right.
Coach got Lego, you tear, say, and she decided gentle how state didn't like the fit and decided to come back.
You two, you'd say So.
That's kind of how it can go.
Weeks without meaning story.
Um, there was a change. Not a change.
You decided You change your mind, you don't side.
You don't want to go.
So sometimes it those things happen.
You gonna recruit, visit and think Okay.
Yeah. This is where I wanna be. Boom.
A coaching change.
Oh, this is not the coach that recruited me.
You don't know where you stand.
You don't know where you fall on the depth chart, and that's very important.
So it's just a little quick story.
I don't want to get into detail, but that's what happened.
She played overseas for a little bit, but she went to Ohio State like Okay, I'm a little out of state.
I decided to come back to U.
T S A from employees for U.
T s, a finisher.
Create beauty, you say after warning last day it just wasn't a fit.
Um, she found out what? She wasn't a depth charge. Juve.
And now I was the type of player that I read the go somewhere and play.
Then go to a four year university and sit on the bench.
Um, I want to play a playing a IIE Division one.
I was pretty off pretty good.
I probably had a wind Division one, but my knees just wouldn't let me be great.
One reason wide angle play overseas.
My knees were are not that great.
So I could've played division one second by two years, maybe two years, and then played the last two.
But now I played every year I was a starter.
1233 of those years, I was a starter, so I probably would change the play over sitting.
But a lot of players don't mind sitting.
I read the play, played me.
You got me here, played me.
Um, that's just how I feel about that.
But that's the impact of coaching.
Checking Nancy the ballet.
I asked her three questions.
Water coaches leave.
Um, how does this impact transfers and time players and also family adjustments? I gave you a college football and college basketball.
So far, coaching changes, the less it first video tomorrow.
I'm coming back with two videos I'm gonna do s t A video due to thunder videos.
Actually do s d a, um, how I feel about this transition to the n b.
A and also how I feel about opens transition.
You're one to gossip.
This is the second year in a week you're gonna do Steven Adams.
Talk about how nobody knew Steven Adams was when he got drafted out of pit and even all season.
Who Who is he? He didn't play much, kid.
Um, but of course, Sam Presti saw something here.
I'm Clay Bennett said go get him.
So they got him.
I'm gonna talk about him.
Two videos of the dedicates a tooth under place tomorrow.
I'll come up with some more content videos for sure.
Next week will be mock draft NFL mock draft will 0.
Make Shay's second round.
I did the first round. You guys will check that out.
Hopefully, Mel Kiper Jr has his mark four point of my draft up.
Hopefully, the draft is on the 20 sired right on the corner during a virtual, is it? I'm gonna be very frustrated, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna do these four point on mock draft because Todd McShay just devious.
He's in a three point.
Oh, but I want to do the lightness I wanna do for now.
Also, I'm going to do who declared a lot of guys are declaring I'm just seeing it every **** video now.
The last three idea was, as of March 26th I think I did it like 23 days after Mark, 26 of who's declared and let me see that I'd be back.
Didn't know who's Claire.
I'll be down in the 29 infection.
Looking at my board.
Who's the glare part? Wanted to.
It was on the 29th.
Yes, Um, who declared? So I do two parts.
It was 24 players that had declared 17 on one day 17 on another.
I will do the same type of video again this week.
So for sure, that's what's coming this week.
I will create more practice until you guys, what else is coming up next.
So much for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it.
Don't forget the follow me.
Underscore a V on Twitter.
I am a part of our exports, innit network.
You guys have a good night now I see you asked a mall.
