00:00:39
S O.
00:00:40
I am currently live video streaming.
00:00:43
This episode this episode is going to be the Hall of Fame addition.
00:00:48
And we just had the class of 2020 just announced yesterday.
00:00:54
I'm gonna want to talk about that class.
00:00:56
Um, especially from mostly the ah, big Three in that class Because a lot of people are saying that this is the best class ever to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, which I could definitely, uh, agree to that.
00:01:12
Um, the Big Three in this class currently is from Kobe Bryant.
00:01:19
The late, great Kobe Bryant rest in peace. Definitely.
00:01:22
Everybody knows the impact that he had on the game ugly, you know, one of the greatest players.
00:01:28
Definitely top 10 all time, in my opinion, um, in the MBA.
00:01:33
Um Then you have Tim Duncan also another unbelievable player, One of the best power forwards to ever play the game, getting his, ah grateful enshrinement into, um, you know, Springfield, Mass.
00:01:49
It in the Hall of Fame, Um, and also Kevin Garnett, Um, which is also another big time power forward.
00:01:58
He had a lot of great battles with Tim Duncan, I have to say, between him and Tim Duncan those two, um, in the 2000 Zahra, where their best to power forwards in the game and nobody were touching those guys that were kind of like Barkley and Malone going at it back in the day.
00:02:15
So those guys were We're awesome, for sure.
00:02:19
Um, a lot of people talking about this being being the great best class in the Hall of Fame history.
00:02:26
Like I said, I mean, he had other classes with Michael Jordan.
00:02:30
John Stockton, where That same class, Um, you guys like Shaquille O'Neal in Yat Ming support in the same class? Um, so, um, you know a lot of deserving classes, but like everybody was saying, you know how this might be the best.
00:02:49
I would definitely agree with that, and we'll see if I mean hopefully.
00:02:53
Like I said, this is live.
00:02:54
We'll get some viewers in here.
00:02:56
We'll see what they think, um on and maybe have a little discussion and go back and forth to, um right now.
00:03:03
Here's why.
00:03:04
You know, I think they're the best class.
00:03:07
We have just some accolades and some stats here for you guys.
00:03:12
I'm gonna start out with Kobe Bryant.
00:03:14
Um, he played 1346 games in his MBA career.
00:03:20
That includes regular season and postseason.
00:03:23
Um, he had 25 points a game, five rebounds a game and five assists in game.
00:03:30
I was obviously unbelievable scorer.
00:03:33
Five assists isn't terrible.
00:03:36
He probably could average more assists for the amount of time the ball was in his hand.
00:03:40
But we all know Kobe was unbelievable score.
00:03:45
He passed when he had to.
00:03:46
But you always want you wanted him shooting.
00:03:48
That was his strong suit.
00:03:50
Um, and he was He did a hell of a job, even up to his final game.
00:03:54
Where? Yeah, I took a ton of shots, but he dropped 60 points in his final game so that the dude was scorn, you know, right up until his last game.
00:04:02
Um, for me, Kobe is scoring is what is most known for you.
00:04:08
Such a wide variety of ways you could score is repertoire of scoring.
00:04:14
He developed into, ah, consistent three point shooter over his career.
00:04:19
Obviously could get to the basket.
00:04:21
Many joggers days, days he would dunk on you.
00:04:24
Um, he emulated when what? My eyes would be the closest we'll ever see to somebody emulating Michael Jordan.
00:04:32
Um, just the way he moved, he had that turnaround.
00:04:35
Fadeaway.
00:04:36
Hey, had that mid range pull up.
00:04:38
Um, you know, up in under moves.
00:04:40
He's his game.
00:04:41
Just merit merit.
00:04:43
Michael Jordan on.
00:04:45
Like I said, I think that's the closest we'll ever see.
00:04:48
Um, to somebody, um, Marrying, in my opinion, the greatest player of all time N Jordan.
00:04:55
Um, some accolades for it for Ah, Kobe.
00:04:59
He was an 18 time NBA all star.
00:05:02
Um, 15 time.
00:05:03
All eh, NBA player.
00:05:05
Four time All Star game.
00:05:07
M v P.
00:05:08
He was a two time scoring champ.
00:05:11
12 time.
00:05:12
This is 12 time all defensive player.
00:05:15
I don't will be enough up for how good it was his offender, but he always wanted that challenge really stepped up to it was one to guard the other guy's best player on and tried to stop them, Um, try to go back and forth with him.
00:05:29
So, you know, 12 time all defense of selections that obviously shows what a great defender he waas.
00:05:36
He was a two time finals M v p um, in the, uh, later finals last two that he wants.
00:05:42
He's a five time everyday champions of championship.
00:05:45
He wanted 09 I eats the Magic.
00:05:48
And in 2010 against the Celtics, he was the M v p had to do the Siri's 2010 against the Celtics.
00:05:57
He gets serious.
00:05:58
What kind of game? Seven.
00:05:59
We have the greatest game seven.
00:06:01
Um, when I did that game kick down to the wire, I'm gonna play its best against that.
00:06:05
But overly had a good series was obviously the best player on this team.
00:06:08
Um, and he won every p that year.
00:06:10
Um, and lastly, he was N v a n b a m v p. In 2007.
00:06:15
2008.
00:06:16
Um, that year you made it to the finals against the Celtics and end up losing in six games.
00:06:23
Um, so he had opportunity at another title but he fell short.
00:06:28
Kobe's biggest thing Early on he was, you know, they brought shakin and they want those three championships.
00:06:35
I believe it was a one.
00:06:36
I'm sorry.
00:06:37
2000 1 4002 they were obviously the heavy favorite in all those Siri's because Kobe and Shaq were, um, two of the most dominant players at that time, especially Shack.
00:06:50
And that was kind of the point.
00:06:54
Everybody was trying to make that call.
00:06:55
We couldn't win a championship without Shack, especially those early years and especially after Shack left and went to Miami and then won another championship with Dwyane Wade in 2006.
00:07:06
Um, but if you remember that final Siris Shack obviously played a big role.
00:07:11
But Dwayne Wade just absolutely went off in that Siri's.
00:07:16
And that's what led Miami, um, you know, to victory to be the Mavericks in that 2006 finals s O.
00:07:24
To see Kobe kind of go through all that and mature and then to come back with two more championships leader his career and to prove that he could win without Shack, I think was huge for his legacy.
00:07:37
Even already had three rings and every, even though he was still gonna probably be considered an all time great toe.
00:07:42
Add those last two championships without Shaquille O'Neal to be the M V P that he had never been before the finals.
00:07:49
Shaq wanted all three times in the 1st 3 peat.
00:07:54
Was was awesome.
00:07:55
I was awesome to see.
00:07:56
Just as a Kobe fan.
00:07:57
I was a huge fan of Michael Jordan, growing up on got center, the Kobe to me and most emulated his drive, his competitiveness.
00:08:05
The way you played the game, I was Honestly, I gravitated towards that.
00:08:09
I was a huge, huge Kobe Bryant fan.
00:08:11
I'm growing up, even though I'm a Celtics fan.
00:08:13
That's tough to say that when you have a favorite players as a Laker, Um, but, um, he's great, and you gotta respect greatness.
00:08:22
And, ah, you know, he's He's one of the best of all time.
00:08:24
So well deserving Kobe Bryant.
00:08:27
You know, one of the saddest things.
00:08:28
You're obviously no Kobe passed earlier this year, man.
00:08:31
I would have loved to see Kobe's Hall of Fame speech because it would have just been unbelievable on the guy.
00:08:37
Definitely, you know, could talk.
00:08:38
You know, we were words, obviously, later in his career.
00:08:41
Um, you know, outside of basketball, be won an Oscar for his for dear basketball on his little short film there.
00:08:49
Um and, you know, his hall of Fame speech would have just been one for the ages.
00:08:52
So, um, rest in peace, Kobe.
00:08:55
Man, we miss you for sure.
00:08:56
Miss seeing you out there, you've been doing all the things, you know, you're not playing, but doing all the other things that you were doing, especially being a father and growing up And, you know, your daughter's and everything like that.
00:09:05
So moving on, we're gonna go to our next guy in the big three here in this hall of Fame class, which is Tim Duncan.
00:09:12
Uh, Timmy D is everybody like to call him? Um, this guy has basically, you know, any time you have ah, shot like Kobe, you know, you shoot you Kobe.
00:09:23
You know Tim Duncan every time we shot a basketball, if you're shooting a bank shot, you don't sell to me D right? Every time, every time you shot a shot mid range off the glass, you know, from an angle would always be dunking.
00:09:33
You know, everybody would say that growing up, Um, you know, he mastered that shot when you got when he faced up on the block.
00:09:39
You knew it was going up, but he was shown over defender, and he's banging it in every time.
00:09:43
And the dude just mastered.
00:09:45
It was perfect right off the middle of square.
00:09:48
Um, and and every just about every time, it seemed like, um, he was Ah, 15 time All star.
00:09:55
Ah, 15.
00:09:56
Sign all defensive team.
00:09:59
Remember which again? He was an anchor, you know, in the post.
00:10:02
He was a great defender.
00:10:04
Three finals envy piece for him.
00:10:07
Um, five overall FDA championships was a two time N b a N v p in a 15 time all eh NBA player.
00:10:15
Um, you know, the first championship they got was in a lockout year, which was in 99 when they played the Knicks.
00:10:24
I believe the Knicks.
00:10:25
The Knicks won eight seed that year coming in and they went told throughout the playoffs, ended up being the Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals to make it to the N B.
00:10:35
A finals against the Spurs and Spurs are a heavy favorite.
00:10:39
I made every Johnson Tim Duncan.
00:10:42
Obviously.
00:10:43
David Robinson.
00:10:44
Sean Elliott.
00:10:46
Um, you know, those guys were just a very, very good team.
00:10:49
Um, and Duncan and David Robinson.
00:10:51
Obviously, they were known as the Twin Towers.
00:10:54
They were just over the overmatched all teams that year.
00:10:58
That team was really, really good.
00:10:59
Um, promise he would go on to win four more championships.
00:11:04
Um, with later on of us, he would add modern Ginobili and Tommy pocket to that Spurs team, which were a huge part of those championships.
00:11:14
Um, and obviously, you know, you need to be really a team.
00:11:19
It's one of championship.
00:11:20
One.
00:11:21
Players are just gonna win you a championship.
00:11:22
Even Jordan at Pippen.
00:11:24
Um, you know, LeBron, you see him when he's got all these role play, you know, these other all star guys around him that are playing, um, so one stunk in.
00:11:32
You know, he won that first championship than the Lakers won three in a row.
00:11:37
Um, then the Spurs were able to win in 2003 again.
00:11:42
This is when they got Montel and, um 20 Parker plan for them.
00:11:48
They created that big three, obviously they have an unbelievable coach and Gregg Popovich.
00:11:53
You know they win that one in 2003 on.
00:11:57
And then they go on to win three more together.
00:11:59
And then later at leader.
00:12:00
Added Kwai Leonard, of course, to the squad during that last first championship, where they beat LeBron James, um, in the finals with the Heat.
00:12:11
So Tim Duncan overall, man, he just had a big effect on all those guys.
00:12:16
You know, All those guys would not have been as good as they were and their careers without Tim Duncan there, like one of the greatest defenders of all time, one of the greatest champions of all time.
00:12:26
15 time all n b.
00:12:27
A team member.
00:12:29
So he was doing this thing year in and year out.
00:12:32
Um for his career, he played 1400.
00:12:36
I'm sorry.
00:12:37
1392 games.
00:12:39
He had his 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
00:12:44
So it wasn't the best passing big man.
00:12:46
He had his moments, but obviously he was more of a scorer and rebounder, Um, down low.
00:12:52
So that was a strong point.
00:12:54
So that's what you stick to, um, and again.
00:12:58
Great career for Tim Duncan gonna round out this big three. Here.
00:13:03
Um, gonna talk about Kevin Garnett now a k a. The big ticket.
00:13:08
Uh, this guy had, ah first games played 1462 games.
00:13:14
He averaged 18 points and 10 assists and four rebounds.
00:13:18
Um, again, double double.
00:13:21
Not the best male passing numbers, but for him and Duncan.
00:13:25
I'm surprised there sis aren't as high per game because they were obviously getting double teamed two ton throughout their career.
00:13:32
And had they been better passers, they probably could have obviously passed out of the post more and got guys.
00:13:39
Easy, easy looks, um, So obviously, they've probably had big games passing the ball where they've had double digit assists in triple doubles and things like that.
00:13:48
But I'm just surprised to see that the career stats are a little bit higher for four assists.
00:13:54
Especially where guys were obviously in their prime.
00:13:56
Cajun doesn't have the ball in the hands of time.
00:13:59
Um, but as far exactly it's for KG 15 Simon Bale star.
00:14:04
Uh, ninth I'm all n ba ah all star game EVP for one time.
00:14:11
You're the four time rebounding champ.
00:14:13
Here's a 12 time all defensive player again, one of the best offenders we've ever seen.
00:14:19
And Katie, do you know, not only obviously with his ability.
00:14:22
Oh, uh, play.
00:14:23
But also with is his mouth.
00:14:25
Um, he communicated so well with his teammates out there.
00:14:30
And you can ask anybody and extra me being, you know, a Celtics fan.
00:14:34
That was the biggest reason the Celtics were able to win their championship of this decade of this ever.
00:14:39
The 2000 and 2008 was because Garnett came over, and he just absolutely change that culture defensively on the way he would know, communicate with guys and and really lay into him.
00:14:50
If they weren't they didn't switch, you know? Right? Or they did it.
00:14:54
You know, the right assignment on defense.
00:14:55
They weren't in the right spot, you know, He made sure everybody was, um, you know, in the right area.
00:15:00
And he was the anchor.
00:15:01
That defense, eh? So he was, ah, a huge part of that championship run, because it was one time and be champion 2008 and he was an N b A finals M v p.
00:15:11
3 4004 with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
00:15:13
Um, Katie's a player came in, obviously right out of high school.
00:15:17
Um, something.
00:15:18
It's Kobe Bryant.
00:15:19
Um, Minnesota Thought they were taking a risk on him.
00:15:23
Obviously, a young kid on high school was a child who's gonna gonna be returning to absolute monster.
00:15:29
Just point of unbelievable members throughout Minnesota, but he could never, Um, for a while, there could never make it out of the first round.
00:15:37
Was his kind of biggest thing.
00:15:39
And then, you know, you get out of the first round, I believe one time in Minnesota.
00:15:42
Um, but he couldn't really struggled to put a team around him.
00:15:48
Um, you know, they're getting guys.
00:15:50
And Sam Cassell, um, Stefan Marbury played there.
00:15:55
Well, he's, er, Biak some of these names, but just not guys that you can build a championship team around your star player.
00:16:03
So, um, obviously, he gets traded to the Celtics in 2008 and he had the weave his, uh, his no trade clause to do so.
00:16:12
Um and I think will help.
00:16:15
That obviously is self extremely. For Ray Allen.
00:16:18
We almost story.
00:16:19
So they strayed for Ray Allen um, in 2007 at the to send in the n b.
00:16:24
A.
00:16:25
Draft that you're the fifth pick, uh, drafted Jeff Green with the fifth pick of untreated it for Ray Allen with some other players.
00:16:30
And then that's when going that read, uh, I'm sorry.
00:16:33
Arnett waves.
00:16:34
There's no trade clothes and then he gets traded to the Celtics for, like 10 players and the biggest person you know, the biggest player in Ideal was Al Jefferson.
00:16:44
Um, Al Jefferson had a good little career, but he's obviously was never on Katie's level.
00:16:49
Cagey.
00:16:50
Like I said, he came over.
00:16:51
He changed the culture, um, of the Celtics.
00:16:54
That year.
00:16:55
They end up winning 66 games, and they go on to win the 2000 n B A Finals, which wasn't easy.
00:17:02
First around seven game series against the Logs, then against the Kev.
00:17:07
I'm sorry, the Cavaliers with that epic Game seven between Paris and LeBron Um, and then they went on to beat Thea Pistons and six in the Eastern Conference finals.
00:17:17
And then they go on and they beat the Lakers and six in the N B. A finals.
00:17:22
I mean, I was pretty sweet, too.
00:17:23
Obviously being the Lakers in the finals, Um, you know, as a Celtics fan, Celtics Lakers Just the best rivalry in basketball, even though it's kind of one sided.
00:17:33
As faras subjects they couldn't match up.
00:17:34
The Celtics get the upper hand on them in the finals on all their matchup.
00:17:39
So, um, but that's the best. You know.
00:17:42
That's a big three this year in the whole of thing class.
00:17:44
Um, that's their accolades.
00:17:46
You guys can obviously see, um, what they've meant to the MBA over the career and what they've done.
00:17:53
I mean, they got a combined 11 championships.
00:17:57
Um four m v P's, um, it's just, you know, it's It's three of the best players that will ever play the game of basketball and probably three of the top 20 players that have ever played, even maybe top 15 that have ever played about playing the game of basketball so close to them.
00:18:14
They're definitely where they belong on Shrine and Springfield, Mass. In the Hall of Fame.
00:18:19
Um, and I can't wait to see what they got going on next year for the for the class of 2021.
00:18:26
Right now, though I want to move on on and I want to get into ho.
00:18:31
I think on current NBA rosters will eventually make the Hall of Fame A Who's the lock? Um, that I think, for the Hall of Fame.
00:18:40
And I was gonna be hard for some teams because you've got some teams that players still young, so they may not technically have a lot, but I'm just gonna go off what they have done.
00:18:49
And obviously, what I thinker assumed that projection.
00:18:52
You know how the project out going to be.
00:18:55
Um, so first we're gonna start out with we're gonna start out with the Atlanta Hawks.
00:19:02
I'll just go in alphabetical order.
00:19:04
So I learned a fox on the roster.
00:19:07
A lot of people are gonna think Trey Young.
00:19:09
Um, but you gotta remember Vince Carter's on the Atlanta Dogs.
00:19:14
So you love Vince Carter's, um, not playing much and not get a lot of minutes? Um, he is the lock for the MBA Hall of Fame.
00:19:23
Um, with what he's done throughout his career.
00:19:26
Um, he has over his career, um, is his numbers here for his career 16.
00:19:34
7 points, which doesn't seem that high and obviously probably has gone down over his last, You know, probably 678 years because he's kind of been a gentleman going all these teams and latching onto these teams.
00:19:46
Um, so it's probably a lot gonna go a lot higher is probably around almost 20 points a game before it started jumping around here.
00:19:55
Five rebounds, four assists? Um, just an overall great player.
00:20:01
You gotta remember to the criteria for the MBA Hall of Fame.
00:20:05
Actually, it's It's I'm sorry.
00:20:07
Um, it's not called the n b A Hall of Fame, it's called, and this is why it's different.
00:20:12
Except, for instance, like different from the NFL Hall of Fame is.
00:20:16
NFL Hall of Fame is called the Pro Football Hall of Fame, So it's just here.
00:20:21
Um, what you've done as a professional, um, the Basketball Hall of Fame is exactly that.
00:20:27
It's called the basketball hall offensively, taking a consideration, everything you've done throughout the game. Basketball.
00:20:33
Um, so you have, um, Vince Carter obviously, uh, went to North Carolina.
00:20:41
Um, had a great college career.
00:20:43
Then he got drafted.
00:20:45
Ended up going to the Toronto Raptors.
00:20:47
Mmm, he early on in his career.
00:20:53
He was the face of Toronto when, you know a lot of people were going to games up there trying to.
00:20:58
It wasn't really a known franchise, a SW far as put people in seats and they weren't on TV a lot and things like that.
00:21:05
And Vince Carter comes in, you know, half man, half amazing.
00:21:09
It's just an unbelievable player.
00:21:11
He starts, you know, in in Game three sixties and game dunks, just human highlight reel wins dunk contest, um, brings along This cousin Tracy McGrady ended up getting on the same team with him as well.
00:21:24
Um, for a while there, they had a good run, had some battles in the playoffs against Allen Iverson.
00:21:30
Um, in the 70 Sixers.
00:21:33
Um, so I think his N B A career combined with his college career is definitely enough to lock him in to the Hall of Fame.
00:21:43
Um, another guy that it's a honorable mention would be Trey Young, and he's only been in the league for one year.
00:21:52
But if he continues doing what he's doing, um, at this rate, by the end of his career, I mean, obviously, it doesn't get cut shorter.
00:22:00
Anything by the end of his career, you could see him probably in the Hall of Fame as well.
00:22:04
I mean, he's already hitting Steph Curry like shots.
00:22:07
And we all know you know how good Steph Curry's, um, so we'll see there, Um, and, uh, you know, we'll see events, you know, makes it in.
00:22:16
The next team we're looking at is the Boston Celtics.
00:22:23
Um, the Boston Celtics, um, have a great young players on the team right now.
00:22:28
Obviously, you have German Brown Jason Tatum, which you guys that you think might eventually be locks for the Hall of Fame.
00:22:36
But the one guy that currently is a lock, um, it's Kemba Walker.
00:22:43
Kemba Walker.
00:22:45
Um, obviously, we know what he's done, um, in college at university to Connecticut, that run, that he went on, um, for the University of Connecticut to the Big East tournament on and then through the inside of a tournament.
00:23:00
I think they won 12 straight games.
00:23:02
Maybe it was to win the national championship on a team that was just counted out.
00:23:09
They won the Big East tournament to get into the dance, and then they ended up running through the dance and ended up winning the national championship.
00:23:15
I mean, he was the main guy.
00:23:17
I hear the nickname Cardio Kemba.
00:23:19
Um, like all the game winners that he hit on the buzzer beaters and that right there alone, Um, you know, it's Hall of Fame worthy that college past, you know, to have that college career on Bennett lead into the pro career that is currently had is a multiple time All Star.
00:23:36
He's a multiple time all eh NBA player.
00:23:40
And then if you project it out, um, you could potentially, um, you know, if he wins, you know, he adds another All Star, obviously or another all n b a team.
00:23:49
Um, if if he adds a championship, you know that he leaves the Celtics to a championship.
00:23:55
Um, things could just get, you know better for them.
00:24:00
The Celtics also have J. LeBron James and Tatum.
00:24:03
Like I mentioned for the Celtics, those of my honorable mention guys, if those guys continue to do what they do at a couple championships to the history of the Boston Celtics, those guys will go down.
00:24:15
You know, I'm trying to the Hall of Fame as well.
00:24:18
Hm.
00:24:19
Let's see here moving on. We have.
00:24:21
The next team is the Brooklyn Nets s o the Brooklyn Nets.
00:24:26
Excuse me, The Brooklyn Nets.
00:24:28
This one's kind of easy.
00:24:30
You have Kevin Garnett.
00:24:32
I'm not sorry. I can't go on that Kevin Durant.
00:24:34
So I get confused from talking before about the Hall of Fame of 2020 class.
00:24:38
But they got Kevin Durant, um, which she's, you know, top 15.
00:24:44
Player of all time. Right now, they're do just unbelievable.
00:24:47
He's got multiple finals, every piece, multiple finals victories.
00:24:52
He's a perennial all star in the in the league.
00:24:56
So, uh, I think he'll, um, we'll make it another guy who's actually pretty close to him.
00:25:03
Um, career being assaulted.
00:25:05
And I need to say that Valkyrie is unbelievable.
00:25:08
He's a great player.
00:25:09
Knock down shooter.
00:25:10
Used it arguably the biggest shot in N B A Finals history.
00:25:13
Everybody knows that.
00:25:14
Game seven shot over over Steph Curry.
00:25:19
He's literally the best ball handler the MBA has ever seen or again basketballs ever seen.
00:25:26
So that'll, um, I believe he eventually gets into usually is kind of my honorable mention there for the Brooklyn Nets.
00:25:32
Um, next team, we got kind of going out the back order.
00:25:35
Your next time we got the Charlotte Hornets.
00:25:37
Um, the Charlotte Hornets.
00:25:39
Man, this is Ah, this is a tough one.
00:25:43
I'm here for the Charlotte Hornets.
00:25:45
They have some good players with their old, um, young players.
00:25:49
So it's kind of tough to see who my project out to eventually be in the Hall of Fame.
00:25:56
S O.
00:25:57
You have guys like I don't know, for instance, and say and have to go with.
00:26:04
I have to go with the young guys you have to go with.
00:26:07
I mean, a guy like PJ Washington who's who's very, very young.
00:26:11
Um, they have guys on the team that's have had a better career so far.
00:26:16
But I think that careers are kind of like a Nicholas platoon that's had a solid career so far.
00:26:21
Not the best, obviously not Hall of Fame worthy, but I think he's kind of stuck in his tracks. He's not.
00:26:27
He is what he is.
00:26:29
He's not gonna get any better.
00:26:31
Um, whereas it would make a case or state his case for the Hall of Fame.
00:26:36
So that's why you got to kind of go with a young guy here who, um would project out to possibly being a Hall of Famer.
00:26:43
So I'd have to go even though he's a rookie, to have to go with PJ Washington, Um, another guy here that guys like heroes here who's obviously a more seasoned guy.
00:26:51
Um, even Devante Grand was having a hell of a season this year, but he's again.
00:26:58
You know, if he's, um, if you could project sound, he continues to do what he's doing.
00:27:04
Then maybe, um or maybe even like, hey, he could move into a role like a six man could you see guys get into the into the all the fame that is just great.
00:27:14
Six men great in their role.
00:27:17
Um, things like that s so I think that's what one of these guys are.
00:27:20
The Horns would have to do.
00:27:22
Um, you know, going for That's a tough one.
00:27:24
The warders, they could, but they got all the young guys.
00:27:26
So it's kind of tough to say who, uh, who would have eventually end up making Thio making it to the Hall of Fame in that one.
00:27:33
Uh, next we have the Chicago Bulls.
00:27:37
Uh, lowly Chicago Bulls.
00:27:39
This is probably gonna be another tough room.
00:27:44
So s so I can see them and everything.
00:27:46
Like that s o for the Chicago Bulls.
00:27:50
Um, again seems running into the same.
00:27:55
Then you have Zach Lavine, obviously, Um, but against Jack Levin, I feel like unless he can somehow ah, wins and championships or get some more.
00:28:06
Get some All Star appearances When she was very close to getting this year, I think he kind of is what he is.
00:28:13
I don't know how much better he's going to get.
00:28:16
Um, he's obviously very, very, very, very good player right now, But I think you might, um, have hit a ceiling or he's very close to it.
00:28:23
Um, I don't think he's the guy where you would build a team around him.
00:28:28
I think he's a good complimentary piece.
00:28:30
We could definitely help a team like you could help a team like the Lakers or somebody like that on the wing s o.
00:28:36
If I had to pick somebody that actually probably go Laurie marketing just cause he's so young, he's only the second season.
00:28:42
He said, Great 1st 2 years so far.
00:28:45
Um, and I think that somebody that you can build around.
00:28:49
Um, have you had pieces to them? Um, if you bring in like another superstar and you have Zach Levine and Laurie Market begins a few championships or some all star parents, is it? Who knows The sky's the limit. Right.
00:29:02
Maybe they could potentially make their case for for a Hall of Fame bid.
00:29:06
Next one, we got next team up on the list.
00:29:08
We have the Cleveland Cavaliers.
00:29:11
Uh, this one's actually pretty easy.
00:29:13
Cleveland Cavaliers.
00:29:14
We got to go with Kevin.
00:29:16
Love, um, on this team, Kevin Love obviously has has a ring from the finals.
00:29:24
Um, you know, the Great Finals where they beat the Golden State Warriors? They were talking earlier when Kyrie hit that shop.
00:29:30
Uh, it was a great game.
00:29:33
Uh, and he's had a good career so far.
00:29:36
He's, you know, with Minnesota.
00:29:39
He was a perennial all star.
00:29:41
Um, he was a walking double double.
00:29:44
You obviously got you got you, like, 20 in 10 every night.
00:29:47
Um, you know, and then he obviously got traded toe.
00:29:50
Cleveland, you're gonna take a step back because you got LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
00:29:54
So you got more more guys on the squad than you did when you were in.
00:30:00
I'm Minnesota, but overall for his career, I mean, he's averaging 19 and 11.
00:30:06
I mean, those are great numbers, trust for for somebody who kind of took a back seat for a little bit.
00:30:11
So he's, um he is definitely a lock for the Hall of Fame, in my opinion.
00:30:18
Um, again, College career.
00:30:20
Great player at U C L.
00:30:22
A.
00:30:23
He only played one season, but still great freshman season at U C l A.
00:30:26
So you gonna take that into consideration as well? Um, and then probably honorable Mention it at the going over.
00:30:32
Mentioned on the, um on the calves would be Andre Drummond.
00:30:38
Andre Drummond is one of the best rebounders the league has ever ever seen.
00:30:43
Um, because I think that alone, um, gets you closing the averages 16 rebounds a game.
00:30:51
When you're the best at a certain thing like you were the best passer, the best rebounder, the best or one of the best that those that's ah good, huh? Inkling that you're going to get into the to the Hall of Fame, you know, under German will go down is probably one of the best rebounders of all time in the MBA, and that reputation alone could get him into the Hall of Fame.
00:31:15
I've just seen was he puts on some All Star parents.
00:31:18
Is things like that rebounding champion.
00:31:21
You know, she's very leads the league in rebounding, things like that.
00:31:23
Those are all aka leaves.
00:31:24
I can help this case, Um, going forward we have on the next team.
00:31:31
I was the Cavs.
00:31:32
Let me get the Dallas Mavericks began.
00:31:35
This is easy.
00:31:36
It's Luca Don Church.
00:31:37
Even though he's in a second season, the dude is averaging a triple double earlier this season.
00:31:42
Um, he's, uh, obviously unbelievable player.
00:31:47
Um, exactly what you want in a guy that can lead your team that you want to build around, shoots the ball well, rebounds a comm pass it, Um I mean, do you never know how his career is gonna play out? You're so young, but you think, definitely has room for, you know, multiple All Star games.
00:32:05
He was already All Star game started this year in the second season.
00:32:08
Um, you know, gets more all Star games.
00:32:11
He's probably going to finish third in the N.
00:32:13
V p vote this year.
00:32:15
So that helps this case obviously, too.
00:32:17
And eventually, you know he's only 21.
00:32:19
So eventually moving down key could potentially win a few more v p's.
00:32:23
Would you then lock up eyes Hall of Fame? Ah, were the campaign, and who knows, maybe gets a heavy It's idol going forward.
00:32:32
Um, arm will mention on the data Dallas Mavericks.
00:32:36
Um, I would just have to go with, uh, let me see.
00:32:41
Here, let me pull up this Mavericks roster quick.
00:32:44
I was gonna say I'm gonna say Chris steps just because he's their second best player.
00:32:50
Um, Porzingis there, he said, Currently their second best player.
00:32:54
Um, I was kind of see if they have any old school guys under that I'm right on and they don't.
00:33:01
So, yeah, I'd have to go with Chris stops.
00:33:03
And just because he's currently the second best player, I don't think her steps is gonna make the Hall of Fame.
00:33:09
Um, but just for podcast purposes and for the stream on sacred steps, Um, let's move on.
00:33:18
After that, we got the Detroit Pistons.
00:33:21
Um, Detroit Pistons is a team that's just in shambles.
00:33:26
Um, before the season canceled.
00:33:28
They traded away drumming for, um, bag of Doritos and a Mountain Dew.
00:33:32
It seemed like I didn't even get a first round pick Form and drugging like we talked about was one of the best players in the league.
00:33:40
Detroit, You know, for the Hall of Fame guy, um, they got, um this surgery tough.
00:33:50
I'd have to go Bruce and have to go down Cruz over, um, or Blake Griffin.
00:33:58
And terrible prophecy is an MBA.
00:34:00
EVP um, he's kind of resurrected his career.
00:34:04
Really? I'm even though, um, he was hurt.
00:34:10
Excuse me.
00:34:11
He was hurt in his career and that gruesome injury and took him allowed to come back.
00:34:15
He's obviously shown that he can still play the game basketball.
00:34:17
He still averaging some good number? So we got a VP.
00:34:23
Um, Blake Griffin's solid players are multiple time M v p um, he's been out all on being teams that crows medal in B teams.
00:34:33
I just give the Esther Derrick Rose because he had that envy.
00:34:36
Whenever you're you're the league M v. P.
00:34:38
Um, your ah you know, these states of states of Casey, You were the the EVP.
00:34:44
You were the best fastball player at one point and the MBA for that particular season.
00:34:49
Eso, um, goes the rose because that helps him out a lot.
00:34:53
I think that's gonna help this case, uh, going to the Hall of Fame.
00:34:58
Uh, that's another tough team.
00:35:00
The Pistons don't really You know, I don't have many great players.
00:35:03
Um, see, after the Pistons, we have the others.
00:35:08
Is an easy one to we have the Golden State Warriors.
00:35:10
Um, they have a few locks, in my opinion, but obviously the ultimate lock.
00:35:14
Steph Curry.
00:35:16
Ah, Steph Curry is a three time n b a N v P two on three time N b A Finals champion to Time N B A N v p.
00:35:25
He's the first ever unanimous.
00:35:27
M v B um, he obviously is a guy who changed the game of basketball.
00:35:33
Um, you know, you had the different things in basketball.
00:35:37
He had the Lakers who I'm losing.
00:35:40
If you want to go way back to the fifties, you have the subjects who kind of implemented the fastbreak, really the first team to do it.
00:35:47
They're running teams off the floor.
00:35:48
When they were winning 89 championships in a row.
00:35:51
Then obviously, the Showtime Lakers revamped the fast break.
00:35:55
Uhm you know.
00:35:56
And now you got Steph, who just changed the game as far as three point shooting a guy can hit from anywhere.
00:36:04
No shot is too far from for him.
00:36:06
Um, and you know, these days where you see guys on a fast break Now, instead of running to the room, they run to the three point line.
00:36:13
Thomas.
00:36:14
Because that's considered a good shot now in the n B A, um, shots, you know, good shots and then be a now considered a high percentage chance.
00:36:20
They're considered open threes and shots at the rim.
00:36:22
Now there's no more of these days of the mid range like we talked about earlier with, like, Kobe and N.
00:36:27
J.
00:36:28
Um, they are that mid range is just completely, really, you know, some plan.
00:36:31
Obviously, Greg Tatum, I think, has a great veteran shot.
00:36:34
This plays out there that can still score.
00:36:36
You know that little in between game that they have.
00:36:38
But for the most part it's shots at the rim, dunks and lay ups and wide open threes.
00:36:44
And part of that, you know, the wide open, three things cause, you know, Steph Curry came in and absolutely changed the game.
00:36:48
So, um, he's gonna go in definitely a za lock.
00:36:54
Um, Clay Thompson.
00:36:57
I think it's in a CZ.
00:36:58
Well, one of the greatest shooters of all time, he's had some ridiculous games.
00:37:03
Um, as a player, he's obviously got three championships as well.
00:37:08
He's obviously he contributed one of the greatest dynasties the little time.
00:37:12
That team has a record of 72 wins.
00:37:15
72 intend? They went.
00:37:16
I'm sorry. 73.
00:37:18
I'm sorry.
00:37:19
73 9 They went is the record.
00:37:21
Um, so does it.
00:37:23
Teach contributed to that.
00:37:24
Lot of people think Draymond might get in.
00:37:26
I don't see it unless he just gets.
00:37:29
It gets better.
00:37:30
It means that he has one defensive player of the year.
00:37:32
He isn't only be defender.
00:37:34
He has those championships to um but I just don't think he's done enough yet, um, to get in.
00:37:42
So I think we'll see.
00:37:43
Because even now, do you see dreamin playing now? It's like he doesn't do much.
00:37:47
Um, and I get clean stuff aren't playing.
00:37:49
What now's your chance to show who you really are is a player, and you're not stepping up.
00:37:54
So we'll see how his career addresses credit finishes now.
00:37:57
He obviously spoke again.
00:37:58
We got to get a good resume.
00:38:00
I'm not up till now, but I think it just used to do a little bit more.
00:38:04
So we'll see if those warriors could get.
00:38:07
Could get three guys in there.
00:38:08
Um, next team, we have the Houston Rockets.
00:38:14
Um, and this is, uh it was super easy.
00:38:18
One as well.
00:38:19
Obviously.
00:38:20
Have James Harden and Russell Westbrook guys.
00:38:24
James Harden is one of the greatest scorers the NBA's ever seen.
00:38:27
Um, he's the first player averaged over 30 points and this season, I believe, since Michael Jordan, um, he's kind of, you know, helped change that game as faras a swell as far as getting to the free throw line.
00:38:41
And the dude has led the league and free throw attempts like, I think the last four seasons.
00:38:45
Maybe the longer than that.
00:38:46
So the way he uses his body and gets to the free throw line.
00:38:49
Obviously, a lot of players doing that now as well on.
00:38:52
And then you have Russell Westbrook, Russell Westbrook.
00:38:55
I was the first player to average a triple double in a season since high school. Robinson.
00:38:59
Uh, Robertson.
00:39:00
I'm sorry for the big Andi did it three times in three seasons.
00:39:06
Three straight seasons.
00:39:08
Uh, it was unbelievable.
00:39:10
He's obviously got an M p P Award.
00:39:11
Hearts got an M V P award.
00:39:13
I'm so I think it's both those guys into the er um, Indiana Pacers.
00:39:21
Um, that's a tough one.
00:39:24
I don't know anybody on the Pacers has done enough to be in the conversation for a Hall of Fame lock, but there's players who are obviously on their way.
00:39:34
Um, I never start with Victor Oladipo.
00:39:37
He's obviously been hurt, and he'd miss a lot of time, But he's Ah, uh, All star.
00:39:41
Um, and he's a great player, and he had a great college career to I'm in Indiana, sending with the monster Sabonis.
00:39:48
He's an All Star this year, both young players.
00:39:51
Um, so I have to go with those two as maybe not locks.
00:39:55
But the two guys who are most likely to project out to potentially what they've done so far as professional basketball players.
00:40:06
Um, after the Pacers going nowhere that the clippers uh good prices.
00:40:13
Obviously.
00:40:14
Super easy.
00:40:15
We have quite Leonard.
00:40:17
They're gonna collide is gonna go to the Hall of Fame.
00:40:20
That's all.
00:40:21
But written in stone what he's done.
00:40:23
Um, I think what he did, obviously winning that championship, that first championship and how he did it against LeBron, um was huge on dhe.
00:40:33
Then to get traded, um, to the Raptors to a franchise that just couldn't get over the hump.
00:40:40
And then in his first season, his first and only season, he led them thio championship.
00:40:46
Uh, the Warriors, you know, not a team that most people couldn't be, you know, in the last 56 years.
00:40:56
Excuse me? Um, that's huge.
00:40:58
There obviously multiple, all star parents is what will all India seems.
00:41:04
So his resume, it is great.
00:41:07
And it's only getting better.
00:41:08
So he's definitely a lock on be only the other guy on the Clippers.
00:41:13
What do you guys think? I'm You know, I might say Paul George here, which you could potentially still get in.
00:41:18
But I'm gonna go with Lou Williams.
00:41:20
Williams has been around forever.
00:41:22
Ah, lot of builders were You recognize it from the Clippers, But he Ah, he was on the six years early on in his career, and the dude is an absolute bucket.
00:41:30
He's one of the best six man ever to play in the n b A.
00:41:34
And like I said earlier, when you were very good in your role, Um, that's what gets you.
00:41:40
You know, that's what.
00:41:41
Can I get you into the Hall of Fame? It's not necessarily all about numbers.
00:41:45
You've gotta average 25 15 or 25 10 or 20 in time to get in his other things that go into it.
00:41:51
So Lou Williams, I think 100% gets in, Um, with what he's done throughout his career, Um, in the MBA being a six man, both of the six years and the Clippers.
00:42:04
So I got to get a drink.
00:42:05
They're getting apart.
00:42:07
So we're going on next team, Obviously, after the lake, the Clippers, we got the Lakers the other l A scene leakers.
00:42:15
I could see, um, as this kind of a hard one.
00:42:20
Who am I kidding? It's LeBron James.
00:42:21
LeBron James is the second greatest.
00:42:24
My being single is fast ball player ever to play the game of basketball.
00:42:28
I'm sure I'm probably gonna catch a lot of heat for that.
00:42:31
Uh, everybody nowadays is just caught in a moment, as are seeing, you know, LeBron playing what he's been doing to kind of forget what you know, good old Michael Jordan has done throughout his career.
00:42:42
But that's Ah, that's ah, debate for another day of the story for another time in a different podcast.
00:42:47
So, um, LeBron James is obviously he might have the single handedly have the greatest championship of all time.
00:42:56
He led that team.
00:42:58
I'm in 2016.
00:42:59
I believe it was nine team the team that broke the record.
00:43:05
They were down 3 to 1 in that Siris.
00:43:08
Um, and then he came back and ah, lead that Mineta.
00:43:12
Um, I believe he had a triple double in Game seven.
00:43:15
Country had, um, after the big shot win the game.
00:43:20
But LeBron's block on a Buddha, Allah on the other end on a play before I had a wide open layup and LeBron James, out of nowhere, just pins it on the class was one of the place you'll see for the rest of your life.
00:43:30
As long as you're watching basketball, that's gonna go down any history forever.
00:43:35
Um, that obviously be a champion.
00:43:39
Three time and be a champion.
00:43:41
Um, he's multiple time, all envy.
00:43:45
A mortal time All Star Muslims on N B A N v p believes.
00:43:48
Got four. Every piece.
00:43:50
Um, so the guy has just used the lock and said, you know, they should already start making the bus that they put in the shrine for him because he's gone there.
00:43:59
Um, see is obviously Anthony Davis.
00:44:06
Um, if he cuts a couple of be a championships and continues to be one of the greatest big man of his time of his era, um, he's definitely gonna get in.
00:44:15
And then, um I don't know what was.
00:44:19
Rondo's done enough runners on the Lakers, and I would have to say Maybe, um, one of the best role players of the NBC in the last few years, So we'll see.
00:44:36
I'm not sure they're in those last two, but definitely LeBron and most likely Anthony Davis.
00:44:42
I was gonna get in there after the Lakers.
00:44:45
We have the Memphis Grizzlies.
00:44:48
Um, this is another tough one.
00:44:50
This is kind of like the Charlotte Hornets.
00:44:54
Um, that's where it's a team of a bunch of young guys.
00:44:58
Um, and you don't really know how they're gonna project out or what they're gonna be, uh, going forward on this roster.
00:45:08
I would have said Andre Able Dollar before he kind of was being a little baby.
00:45:14
Wanted to get traded out of there.
00:45:18
You want to get traded some of the country in Miami.
00:45:21
Um, but I have to go with is a rookie, but I have to go with John Moran.
00:45:27
John Moran, as a rookie, has let this Memphis team who was bottom of the barrel last year in the West to the eight seed currently in the West, is in the playoffs.
00:45:36
Um, could have arguably been an All Star reserve.
00:45:40
He's he was that good.
00:45:41
But the West is just so deep, it's it's tough, but he definitely used pointing All star like numbers.
00:45:47
Um, I think you see is his season is he's one of the best point guards in the league right now.
00:45:54
If he continues somebody's doing obviously multiple all stars who knows the phone championships.
00:45:59
Um, but I think I picked out as the most likely player from this current Grizzlies Ross there to make the Hall of Fame one day.
00:46:09
Next team.
00:46:10
Uh, the list.
00:46:11
We have the Miami heat.
00:46:13
Uh, Miami.
00:46:15
I'm going with the current guy.
00:46:17
Like I said, just said that traded their I'm Andre Iguodala.
00:46:20
Um, one of the best six man's, you know, ever to play the game.
00:46:25
Uh, he was a great starter for the time when he was in Philly, when he was younger.
00:46:30
He was a great player as well.
00:46:32
But later around his career, when he moved to the bench, it was a six minute for the Warriors on that Dynasties wad.
00:46:37
He really helped them.
00:46:38
You spent those three championships with them.
00:46:40
He's also got a finals M V P Award.
00:46:42
A swell to go with it.
00:46:44
One of the better two way players of his time.
00:46:47
Um, his numbers don't really pop out.
00:46:50
Actually, far stats on the overall.
00:46:53
His impact was definitely felt, um, on the game, Um, and then if you wanted to go to the next guy would probably have to say, a guy like, uh, Jimmy Butler on their, uh, I don't think he's done enough to get to the Hall of Fame yet.
00:47:10
I'm just one of the better place in the n B a now.
00:47:12
But, um, it's no championships, No, obviously MVP award.
00:47:16
She's got multiple star appearances.
00:47:19
Um, so as of now, he doesn't get in, But who knows? Taken me around the heat this year that obviously one of the better teams that you can Maybe somehow when a couple championships with them, um, then I could see and potentially getting in Don't going further.
00:47:34
Um, but we'll see that stuff.
00:47:37
You know, protections are always tough, So we'll see if Flacco's, um, next team will pull up here.
00:47:47
Bunky Books.
00:47:48
Um, Milwaukee as the honest, authentic oop.
00:47:52
Oh, um, which his projection.
00:47:56
He's kind of, you know, he's he's easy to protect out because what you've seen from Johannes from when he was drafted to from a scene.
00:48:04
Oh, skinny, skinny kid.
00:48:06
And he just looked up and has worked on this game and improved, improved, improved.
00:48:09
So you know what his work ethic is? He's turned into this monster guy.
00:48:13
Whoever is 30 and 14 has an M V P award.
00:48:18
Multiple All star parents is all star starter worlds.
00:48:22
Will all MBA teams are ready.
00:48:25
This guy's going to get more of the piece is probably gonna win the MVP this year, too.
00:48:30
So don't make two of the peace and maybe maybe an MBA championship.
00:48:34
His team is the best team currently.
00:48:36
The league right record wise.
00:48:37
So maybe a heavyweight championship.
00:48:39
Um, and he's still got room to grow as a minute. It's ceiling.
00:48:42
As game's improved so much.
00:48:43
I mean, think, think What if he adds a three point shots whose game or more consistent, require shout to his game? Uh, it could be, you know, we could Very scary, even scarier.
00:48:52
The news now for four teams.
00:48:55
Um well, then, that, uh I don't really see anybody else on the box.
00:49:00
I mean, I think you have to go with their other All star.
00:49:03
And Chris Milton made me.
00:49:04
But obviously, as of now, he doesn't have all of Famers.
00:49:07
May, um, around the place is gonna be another tough one would be the Minnesota Timberwolves.
00:49:17
Um, you have to go on the symbols you have to go with, um, Karl Anthony towns.
00:49:24
Um, just because he is their current best player.
00:49:28
Um, but I don't think he has a whole firm resume yet with this thing, it's again going on.
00:49:34
Who we think will project out to be into the Hall of Fame would have to go with him right now.
00:49:39
The Timberwolves don't have um and the old hens laying around on the squad to our veterans.
00:49:46
That I think might get in.
00:49:47
Some little Karl Anthony towns is the best player.
00:49:50
He's obviously average big numbers before, he said.
00:49:52
Small star appearances, Um, but he's gonna have to do a lot more like maybe make the playoffs, at least do some things where he can grow that resume.
00:50:02
Andan the only other guy you want to go with? D'Angelo Russell and again, this is just because he's their second best player again.
00:50:08
This team currently, it's It's a mess.
00:50:10
It doesn't really have any all of Famers on it as now as as currently constructed.
00:50:15
But these guys who knows who knows where they move into their career.
00:50:18
Maybe they join it on the team, get a few championships.
00:50:21
I mean, anything can happen, and that's how you build your resume so we'll see what happens there with those guys on the Timberwolves.
00:50:28
Ah, next we got the New Orleans pelicans Uh, normal pelicans and see the Hall of Fame.
00:50:36
I would have to go with, um, as a lock right now.
00:50:40
Unethical J. J. Red****.
00:50:42
To be honest with you, judge a heretic as average 18 points or 17 18 points for his career.
00:50:48
Um, he's never missed the playoffs since he's been in the NBA.
00:50:52
Um, he's one of the best shooters of all time.
00:50:55
It's a great six man.
00:50:56
Um, and he's had a great great career, especially in the N B.
00:51:01
But also, you can remember you gotta could come college as well.
00:51:04
We had a great create Duca's well, so I think he's your easier lock on the pelicans currently, Um, and then the other guy with potential.
00:51:11
You just have to close eye on who's ever even everybody now is projected him to be future, multiple time, EVP and multiply and ball star.
00:51:18
Um, he's just a phenomenon.
00:51:21
And if he projects out to be what he, um you know what everybody thinks he is? That's definitely all the fame worthy, so we'll see how that goes on.
00:51:29
He just got His thing is he's just gonna stay healthy.
00:51:31
He had an injury, and, um, you know at Duke that caused Mr Few games is a heavy duty is bulky, strong.
00:51:39
I'm going all that way every time it jumps thes every time.
00:51:43
You know it's, um, stuff.
00:51:46
So he's a bigger guy, takes care of himself.
00:51:49
We can have a long career, so I hope it does, because it's definitely exciting player to watch, um, next to get this old my guys and we are next time we got the New York Knicks.
00:52:02
The New York Knicks are the worst team in my opinion, in the n b A in the worst run franchise.
00:52:09
Umm uh, let's see if we got any Hall of Famers.
00:52:13
I'm pull up their roster because I'm just on one and I don't want to go like R. J. Barrett.
00:52:19
Just take the easy route.
00:52:21
You know what? The top of my head, Uh, let's see.
00:52:24
Here is going next.
00:52:25
New York stats washed er, let's see you the next.
00:52:33
Yep, we're just gonna have to go with our Jeanne Barrett, and that's just because he's a rookie.
00:52:40
He's one of their best players already.
00:52:43
Uh, he's got the longest amount of time to get better, so that's why we're going with R J.
00:52:49
Barrett in the mix, Uh, this and then we're gonna get off the next because they don't have anybody else that I think is remotely close to making the Hall of Fame or will ever reach all of them.
00:52:59
Um, so I'm sorry to nick fans out there if you're listening this where your team is not that good.
00:53:04
Um, moving on to the next team.
00:53:08
We have the Oklahoma City Thunder.
00:53:12
Um, and this is and using one as well.
00:53:14
Obviously, Chris, Paul, Chris Paul is one of the best point guard ever to play the game.
00:53:19
One of the best pastors ever play the game? Um, he was honestly key to the lob City Clippers.
00:53:26
Um, one of the key contributors there was also early on in New Orleans with Pelican.
00:53:30
It's in his career and also had a great career at Wake Forest.
00:53:35
I get multiple time All star, uh, multiple time all and be a player.
00:53:42
You know, I get someone to boast best point guards ever to do it.
00:53:44
So I think Chris Paul gets in, and then we have, like, if the honorable mentioning somebody, I would say Shai guilders Alexander.
00:53:56
Because what? He's shown things a second year on the growth.
00:53:59
That issue under CP three.
00:54:01
He definitely knows howto work.
00:54:03
You sell your chart, it goes, games got better.
00:54:06
So if he continues to get better and better, um, get some wall start parents is and maybe officials of championships.
00:54:12
Um, this is a guy that I could see maybe making a run at all the thing, but, um, and again to its he's young, but he is their second best player.
00:54:21
So that's why he gets honorable mention, uh, another tough one.
00:54:26
Uh, we got going down here is the Orlando Magic.
00:54:30
Um, what do you think, guys? Orlando Magic.
00:54:34
Uh, we only have two guys that I can really think us.
00:54:37
And that's ah, sauce of view through the church of view.
00:54:42
You, uh you ***** through the church on view your church.
00:54:47
I'm sorry, Sasha.
00:54:48
Viewer, church and, um, Aaron Gordon and Gordon's obviously known probably more for a dunk contest than he is for his m B.
00:54:59
A play in actual games.
00:55:00
I don't think anybody on this magic team makes it.
00:55:04
Uh, but if I have to pick out an obviously have to go with their best players, which is, you know, kind of a pattern here and some of these teams, because some of these teams you looking at, um um actually don't have Hall of Fame worthy players, so I had to go R Vukovich and Bigelow, Vukovich and, um Aaron Gordon.
00:55:30
I'm sorry.
00:55:31
Whatever I said before, I think I said I said the wrong name before, so it was Ah, uh, Nikola vucevic Get it right.
00:55:39
Um, moving on to the next team after the magic is the Philadelphia 70 Sixers.
00:55:48
They have two guys I don't think of both.
00:55:50
Probably gonna make it to the Hall of Fame.
00:55:52
Um, they might not ever win the championship together, but that's Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
00:55:59
Um, well, those guys draws one of the best big man in the league.
00:56:03
Most dominant big man, I think currently back to the basket, big man.
00:56:07
Anyways, as your great, uh, ever to our post moves, we can put up big numbers.
00:56:12
We could put up 30 and sent out all night on Ben's just a freak player.
00:56:17
He's got no jump shots, but he still finds a way to get 2025 points on a given night.
00:56:22
There's a way to get to the rim.
00:56:23
You can finish with both hands.
00:56:25
Um, great rebounder.
00:56:27
Um, she's got great size for a point guard is kind of 60 of Magic Johnson, like 69 point guard, great wingspan. He can play defense.
00:56:36
He's got All Star Game multiple.
00:56:37
Also getting parents or soldiers, Joel.
00:56:39
But those guys get together.
00:56:41
I mean, even if they could get it together and win a couple championships, they could go down as one of the greatest duels of all time.
00:56:46
Um, if they get their act together So, um, for the Sixers are those would be two guys for sure that I'd see making a run at the Hall of Fame Next team.
00:56:58
We have the Phoenix Suns.
00:57:00
Um, this'll ones, Actually, not as easy as some might think.
00:57:05
Um, a lot of people probably just gonna say Devin Booker and I completely agree.
00:57:10
Devin Booker is the man for Phoenix is their best player.
00:57:14
He's unbelievably squat 70 in the game early on in his career.
00:57:18
Um, and he's, you know, honestly, still young, so he could still get a lot better.
00:57:24
Is multiple, always made the All Star Game.
00:57:26
Um, and if somehow they build a team around him and he obviously to see nexus of championships, who knows what he could get? But the other guy that I just saved from it, just as much as a lock would be Ricky Rubio in Phoenix, and he's been an average eh? NBA player.
00:57:42
But if you're going by overall basketball, what he's done with Spain and a strange national team and how they've always been competitive and the second best team they've won Cem, Cem world tournaments or fever tournaments on they've been the second reign team national a national.
00:58:00
Sorry, we're wide, um, to the U. S.
00:58:04
And he was a huge part of that.
00:58:06
So I think if you're taken like they do in the Basketball Hall of Fame, take your whole body of work.
00:58:11
College international, N B A.
00:58:15
I think Ricky Rubio has a really, really good shot of getting into getting into the Hall of Fame next one to go with the Portland Trail Blazers.
00:58:25
Uh, Portland Trailblazers to be This is easy as well.
00:58:30
Don't forget Carmelo Anthony is on the squad and commanding Carmelo Anthony.
00:58:35
Um, even though he's doesn't have a championship, is one of the greatest scores ever to play the game.
00:58:42
The guy was an absolute bucket in college.
00:58:45
He led the Syracuse Orange to a national championship his freshman year.
00:58:50
He probably one of the greatest college grades of all time for one year for what he did for that team.
00:58:56
Um, like, again multiple stars of the accolades or they're just not the big ones.
00:59:03
That's kind of alluded him.
00:59:04
Like I said, there could be a championships on their um so I do think Carmelo gets in for sure.
00:59:11
Probably a lot of people that want to debate that, But I don't think I'll think it's debatable with, and Carmelo gets anything he's done enough on, and then you gotta go with Daimler.
00:59:20
Um, kind eyes the back up there.
00:59:22
He's a great player.
00:59:24
He's huge shots and playoff.
00:59:26
Siri's his one playoff, Siri's with big buzzer beaters.
00:59:30
He's like Portland, um, to some big, big playoff wins.
00:59:37
He's made the playoffs, consistently puts up numbers, obviously, is an All Star, made the all N B A team again.
00:59:44
The big awards as faras every Pease air finals championships.
00:59:51
I do got to give it to Dame, though, because he's one of those players who's not ring chasing.
00:59:56
So if if you hold it against them, they doesn't win a ring, it's gonna be his own fault because he said he doesn't want to join up with a contender.
01:00:04
He wants to try the one on himself or he is on.
01:00:07
Kudos to him.
01:00:08
Kudos to a guy like we talked about earlier.
01:00:09
Like Vince Carter. He's done the same thing.
01:00:11
You look at Vince Carter's team's.
01:00:12
I just played on over the last few years of his career.
01:00:15
I'm sure you probably could have went to a contender, but he's playing with, you know, the Grizzlies, Hawks Jazz.
01:00:24
I think at one point, um, this teams that just aren't in the mix when championship This guy at the one thing that's eluded him throughout his Hall of Fame career is a championship.
01:00:36
But he's not chasing that which, you know, you got to give us other guy.
01:00:39
I'm just going out there and playing basketball and try to help the young guys, which is awesome to see you next.
01:00:47
We have the Sacramento Kings.
01:00:49
Um, this is another tough one here.
01:00:53
Sacramento.
01:00:54
Another team that's struggling, Um, I think again you'd have to go with, um, their best player, which could be, Ah, Buddy healed right now just one of three point contest shooting lights out.
01:01:14
You have a guy on the other caress and Barnes, who's won a championship.
01:01:17
I He was the number one high school player coming out.
01:01:20
Harrison Barnes with Carolina, Um, in a great college career once of the Abbey after one season, um, and then won the championship with the Warriors.
01:01:33
Um, he was a big part of that.
01:01:34
That team that went 73 9 as well, but I don't think he's done enough to make the whole fame.
01:01:42
And I think he's kind of like Plateau.
01:01:44
He's already hit his feeling.
01:01:45
Harrison Barnes is what he is.
01:01:46
He's not get any better, is not goingto team.
01:01:49
We just put them over the hump, the window, a bunch of championships.
01:01:53
Um, so you didn't have to go with 20 heels of Deanna Fox, I would say, as guys who can project out to potentially be Hall of Famers.
01:02:02
Um, right now they need to focus on getting together currently for the King's because of the season continues there only a couple games out of the eighth seed.
01:02:08
So they could potentially make around the playoffs this year.
01:02:12
So we'll see what goes on in Sacramento.
01:02:16
San Antonio Spurs.
01:02:18
This is another interesting team.
01:02:21
Um, you have to go with it.
01:02:25
So you have to go with, uh, Marcus Old Ridge.
01:02:29
So, I mean, I think I'm probably inside between all vision to Rosa.
01:02:32
Um, both guys were playing made multiple all star teams.
01:02:38
Then the key contributors are the guy on their car, their teams, you know, older to import little than to Rosalie was in Toronto, and now they're together.
01:02:47
I don't think they've done enough currently to make the Hall of Fame, but on the Wizards, I mean, I'm sorry.
01:02:52
On the Spurs, those would be the two, um, two top guys that are potentially a za current resume stands.
01:02:59
And then potentially what they could do.
01:03:00
Going forward.
01:03:02
A swell.
01:03:04
Almost coming to an end here, guys.
01:03:05
We got a couple more teams left.
01:03:07
We have the Toronto Raptors Nets as faras.
01:03:12
The Toronto Raptors were gonna go with Mr Rafter himself.
01:03:16
Kyle Lowry.
01:03:17
Um, he's done so much for the city of Toronto.
01:03:20
Oh, what we you know, we thought Vince Carter did for that city, you could say kind of Larry has kind of doubled that, but the way he's gone to surround, So he didn't want to leave.
01:03:33
They didn't request the trade.
01:03:34
He stayed monster Mark Rosen.
01:03:36
Um, you know, but traded humility that traded for Kowa.
01:03:41
You stayed there.
01:03:42
He was still, um, you know, still, man is the one of the key contributors to that end, the finals run that they went on.
01:03:49
He brought a championship to the hip bringing championship to the city of Toronto their first ever, which is huge, you know, isn't always a multiple time All Star is one of the greatest players insurance or afters history so that I think that definitely gets him in.
01:04:05
Excuse me on guys that, um I have to say I got one guy that might be a lock, and I don't have a guy that also could project out.
01:04:13
So Mark Russell, I think, could potentially be a lock as well to get into the Hall of Fame again.
01:04:19
International player overseas.
01:04:21
He's done.
01:04:22
That's one of good good work with that Spanish national team.
01:04:26
Um, same, like I said earlier, Ricky Rubio what he's helped them do.
01:04:30
And then maybe a early out Memphis.
01:04:32
He was an all defensive player All Star player and then obviously helped win a championship in Toronto as well.
01:04:39
So of the other guy that I think projects out to be a Hall of Famer would be Pascal siac.
01:04:45
Um um, going off of what he's done early on in his career, what he's developed into so far, if he continues his development, potentially adds another.
01:04:55
You know, a few more All Star parents who is? It may be that the championship, you could see him build his resume.
01:05:00
You get that lock for the Hall of Fame.
01:05:02
Um, next we have up, we're down to the last two teams here.
01:05:07
We got the Utah Jazz.
01:05:09
Um, and for them, I think this is Ah, this is pretty easy as well.
01:05:15
I'm gonna go with, um, two young guys Donovan, Mitchell, and really go Bear would probably the two guys right now.
01:05:23
Let's see in Utah, um, that would that would make the Hall of Fame piece on their staff.
01:05:29
And based on what they've done so far in their career.
01:05:31
Um, they've had a tough time as far as playoff wins and bringing together during playoff time and things like that.
01:05:40
Um, but they have, Like I said, halt.
01:05:43
All Star appearances were to go Bears.
01:05:45
One of the better defenders and the league Stifle Tower.
01:05:50
What he's done for the French national team to another international player that's gonna get taken into consideration for the Hall of Fame.
01:05:57
Um, Donovan Mitchell, obviously, what he's done so far, the MBA.
01:06:03
Um, if he keeps working on his game and he gets even better, you know, like we said with a lot of other guys he can project out, we be great as well.
01:06:13
Um, trying to go down the Yeah, it's really it on the Jazz.
01:06:18
We're trying to go down the rosters here.
01:06:19
I thought anybody else could potentially have a shot at it, but right now, it doesn't look that way.
01:06:24
Um, and then we make it to our final team, uh, in the n b A.
01:06:29
We have the Washington Wizards and the Washington Wizards currently do not have any Hall of Famers on their roster, in my opinion, um, it's very easy to to say Who will protect out as the Hall of Famers if they continue playing at a high level than ANTA wants.
01:06:51
A more accurate accolades, though.
01:06:53
I don't think they have what it takes to win a championship, but not every player in the Hall of Fame has won a championship.
01:07:00
Um, and I would have to be Bradley Beal and, um, John Wall brother feels unbelievable.
01:07:08
Score 7 30 point.
01:07:09
He's averaging 30 points this year.
01:07:11
Currently on that John Wall man.
01:07:14
If he comes back healthy and cue soon with doing those guns of perennial All Stars, they could make the All Star team every year with the way that they play.
01:07:21
So, um, again, no current Hall of Famers on the, um on the Wizards and we'll see what we got, what they could do, going further with them.
01:07:33
So I hope you guys enjoyed this
