00:00:04
This Rio tonight will be about the impact of translators for the unsuitable A football and basketball.
00:00:11
I'll talk about football first and I'll talk about some transfers.
00:00:15
They don't talk about basketball as well.
00:00:17
They have the same rules.
00:00:18
From what I'm looking at here haven't put up on my computer on Ishida Belay that work.
00:00:23
They have the same rules it looks like, but I'm gonna go through all of it.
00:00:26
So I'm gonna re all of it to you.
00:00:28
Um, that I'm gonna talk about some notable transpires that I wrote down for football.
00:00:34
And then I wrote down some for basketball.
00:00:35
And also, I have some questions at the end.
00:00:37
And I also got to tell you guys my personal story about transferring from one school to another.
00:00:42
Even I went inside the ballet.
00:00:44
Um, but I'll talk to you about my own personal story about transferring.
00:00:49
So before we get started, don't forget to follow me at simply me underscore a V on Twitter.
00:00:55
I am a part of the unwrap Sports Network.
00:00:59
I just want to give a shout out there by unwrapped sports.
00:01:01
We did a great job last month on streams.
00:01:03
We had our mock draft one point.
00:01:05
Oh, we're trying to figure out howto work together.
00:01:07
Monique and Alex went live on Instagram today.
00:01:11
Tonight? Excuse me.
00:01:12
Went live tonight on Instagram.
00:01:14
I plan on one live with Monique on Instagram and getting an INSTAGRAM.
00:01:17
When that happens, I will let you guys know.
00:01:20
But until that happens, I just have a Twitter single.
00:01:25
Follow me there on simply me underscore a V.
00:01:28
Now I wrote down a lot of notes, but I'm reading this word for word.
00:01:35
Uh, if I mess up, I'll try to give you guys more clarity and things like that.
00:01:40
So here is the transfer terms now I will say, Well, I'm gonna say end of the video because I'm not gonna run it in with this.
00:01:48
See what? The virus is.
00:01:49
Impact on transfers as well.
00:01:53
Let's see. Let's read these terms.
00:01:55
Alright, transfer times.
00:01:56
Here we go.
00:01:57
Eligibility Timeline Division 15 year clock.
00:02:02
If you play at a division one school, you have a five.
00:02:05
You have five calendar years in which to play four seasons of competition scored Mac 28 Thank you for during the broadcast.
00:02:12
I appreciate it.
00:02:13
Your five year Clark clock starts when you enroll is a full time student at any college they're after.
00:02:18
Your clock continues.
00:02:20
Even if you spend an academic year and residents as a result of transferring, decide to redshirt if you do not attend school, or even if you go part time during your college career.
00:02:34
So that's the division 15 year clock division to I'll talk about Division two.
00:02:40
Now.
00:02:41
Am I gonna talk to Yeah, talk division to division to 10 semester slash 15 quarter clock.
00:02:46
If you play at a division to our division three school, you have the 1st 10 semesters or for 15 quarters in which you are in road is a full time students To complete your four year seasons of competition, you use a semester or quarter anytime you attend.
00:03:04
Class is a full time student or in row part time and compete for the school.
00:03:11
Do not use a term.
00:03:13
If you only a 10 part time with no competition or are not in road for 18.
00:03:23
That's the vision.
00:03:24
Do Division three progress towards degree a system of economic benchmarks, ensuring as soon athlete makes progress towards a bachelor's degree at a reasonable pace.
00:03:35
Now season of competition.
00:03:37
It's a double A student.
00:03:38
Athletes are allowed to compete for four seasons in one sport division.
00:03:42
Wanted division to athletes who compete for any amount of time during the season.
00:03:47
Use up one season in their sport division three Still definitely to practice or compete after the first date of competition in their sport.
00:03:56
Used up one season in their sport.
00:03:59
So that's why you get a lot of multi sport athletes.
00:04:02
Column.
00:04:03
Murray was a football and basketball player.
00:04:05
I mean football and baseball player.
00:04:07
Excuse me at University of Oklahoma, Russell Wilson was a football and baseball player.
00:04:13
Uh, Wisconsin.
00:04:15
Now, expectations here is the expectation.
00:04:18
If you meet a legislative expectation, it means a specific regulation will not apply to you.
00:04:26
The school to which you are transferring determines whether you are eligible and has the authority to apply exceptions.
00:04:33
So basically eligibility comes from the school.
00:04:37
Your coach has to release you, and then that's when you're able to, um, be eligible to play for another university.
00:04:45
Here is the one time transfer exception If you transfer from a four year school, you may be a medium immediately eligible to compete at your new school if you meet all the following conditions here.
00:04:57
The conditions guys, if you are transferring to a division to a division three school or you are transferring to a division one school in any sport other than baseball, men's and women's whims of women's basketball football, uh, has parentheses, football Bow division or men's hockey.
00:05:18
If you are transferring to a division one school for any of the previously listed sports, you may be eligible immediately.
00:05:25
If you were not.
00:05:26
If you were not recruited by original school and you have never received an ethics scholarship, you are academically and athletically eligible edge of previous.
00:05:40
For your school, you receive a transfer release agreement from your previous for your school.
00:05:45
That's why talk about being released.
00:05:47
Here's a waiver inaction that sets aside this is what away Bruce.
00:05:51
Excuse me, guys. This is what a waiter is.
00:05:53
Um, an action that sets aside and incidentally, rule because a specific, extraordinary cir***stance prevents you from meeting the rule instead of school, may foul a waiver on your behalf.
00:06:05
You cannot fallaway were for yourself that the school does not determine administer.
00:06:10
The waiver does not excuse me.
00:06:13
The school does not administer the waiver, the conference office or the double lay does.
00:06:18
So that waiver has to be the conference office, Big 12 sec, a C C.
00:06:23
Conference like that or the inside of it.
00:06:26
So initial eligibility.
00:06:29
This is about financial aid, any money you received from a college or another source, such as asset loans or grants? Financial, eh? Maybe based on athletics, financial need or academic achievement.
00:06:40
That's huge national letter of intent.
00:06:44
So yo, so you're in L I This is your national letter of intent lot people call it.
00:06:52
It's the public.
00:06:53
Schools that are part of the program may send a national letter of intent to it prospect student athlete they have recruited.
00:07:01
The letter is a legally binding contract.
00:07:04
The letter is a legally binding contract, said again, the letter is a legally binding contract.
00:07:11
It explains what athletics financial A.
00:07:15
The school agrees to provide the student actually for one full academic year on Lee if the student is admitted to the school in its eligible for financial aid.
00:07:22
Under the rules if you sign and a national letter of intent.
00:07:27
You agreed to attend the school for one academic year, and other schools that are a part of the National Letter of Intent program can no longer recruit you.
00:07:37
So when you saw your national letter of intent, no other schools can recruit you.
00:07:42
Um, I think I wonder if you can back out of that.
00:07:47
I'm a look more today, guys, because I know guys have signed a letter of intent and end up going somewhere else.
00:07:54
So recruited.
00:07:56
If a college coach cause you more than once contacts you off campus pager expenses to visit the campus or in Division one in Division Two issues you a national letter of intent or written letter of financial A, you are considered to be recruited and a Knick fan.
00:08:17
Thank you for joining the broadcast.
00:08:18
I appreciate it in Division One, a written offer of financial A to attend summer school, but 44 time in Roman does not mean you have been recruited.
00:08:27
So that's how recruitment works.
00:08:30
Oh, if a coach college, you more than once contacts you off campus pleasure expenses to visit the campus in Division One or two issues.
00:08:39
You're national letter of intent or written letter financial aid.
00:08:42
That's when you consider to be recruited.
00:08:45
Here we go schools certifying school.
00:08:48
The new school that she wants to attend determines whether you are eligible to play.
00:08:53
That's huge membership the colleges, universities and athletics conferences that make up the NC double life.
00:09:00
The members introduced and vote on rules established programs to govern, promote and ****her the purposes and goals of intercollegiate athletics.
00:09:11
The membership is divided into three main divisions the visual 12 and three each with its own governing structure.
00:09:19
So east a visit in and incidentally, has their own governing structure.
00:09:25
To your colleges is Yukos, a school where students can learn.
00:09:31
Uh, excuse me.
00:09:32
I learnt earnt and associates of art, eh, degree in associates of science I s degree or an associate of apply a science degree Within two years, some Cali schools, community colleges or during your college is going to show associates.
00:09:47
That's a two year college.
00:09:49
Could any college in college? Here we go, students full time.
00:09:54
Typically, you are a full time student if you are in road for at least 12 credit hours in a turn, even though, instead of life schools to find a full time student and someone who takes fewer than 12 credit hours in a turn in order to be eligible for the incidental A competition, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in a turn.
00:10:14
So that apply for for all, not just instead of late, but all the divisions, not all the divisions but all the separate entities of entities of athletics.
00:10:25
I'm gonna tell you guys a story in the man about that International Students International Student is any suit who was in road in a two year or four year school outside of the U. S.
00:10:36
Um, also non qualifier Division one of Division two.
00:10:41
A student athlete planning to attend a division one or division to school has not met economic requirements to be a division one or division to qualify.
00:10:50
If you are a non qualifier, you may not practice, compete or receive an athletic scholarship from a division one or division to school during your first year off full time in Rome.
00:11:00
It you will have Onley three seasons of competition in Division one, although you may earn 1/4 season by completing 80% of your undergraduate degree before you start your fifth year of 50 year of fifth year in college.
00:11:18
I think that's what they want to say they said of in college.
00:11:21
So if you don't make a 18 on your S a C T.
00:11:26
You are not eligible to play Division One.
00:11:28
That's why a lot of guys either choose to play overseas.
00:11:33
Uh, there is basically I don't know what he got in his a c t.
00:11:36
But he chose to take that $1,000,000 internship in foreign balance.
00:11:41
A rich policies agent.
00:11:42
Shut up.
00:11:43
So rich Paul, um, look mellow, Bond.
00:11:45
She said, Okay, I'm done with school altogether.
00:11:47
His dad pulled him out of school out of Chino Hills.
00:11:50
Then he wants a spire he played overseas.
00:11:55
Is it all right? I don't have to worry about that.
00:11:57
Um, guys go overseas just to play makes the money for their families.
00:12:01
Like I know I'm not gonna be a past a c t.
00:12:03
Um, so I'm just gonna go over the seas and play and make some money for my family.
00:12:06
Be eligible for the NBA draft, make sure a lot of guys say, man, I still want to play basketball.
00:12:11
They go juco, they go juco get their grades up, and then after you go juco there is no a c t requirement.
00:12:17
I don't think you just have to have the grades requirement because the reason why they put all right a minimum on your A C t is because they put you in remedial math in English.
00:12:30
If I'm thinking correctly, they'll put your remedial classes for your freshman year.
00:12:34
So basically, you're gonna be taking remedial classes.
00:12:36
Then you can start your classes.
00:12:38
So more than likely gonna be doing five years if you've done, uh, if you get a 18 like the lower 21 of your a c T.
00:12:47
I think that's what it still is.
00:12:48
I'm not sure I played college basketball in early two thousands.
00:12:51
I'm not sure what it is now, but I know for effect you'll be taking remedial math and English for sure that I know for sure, and you're basically retaking classes you took in high school.
00:13:04
So you're taking about 223 classes over again.
00:13:08
Then you can start in your basics.
00:13:10
That's how it goes.
00:13:12
I believe If I'm not right about that, I will come back on her and say so.
00:13:15
But I think that's how it goes.
00:13:16
So a lot of kids a lot.
00:13:17
You know what? I'm not gonna qualify.
00:13:21
I'm just gonna go juco.
00:13:23
Thank you for the 100 whistles and a Knick fan. I appreciate it.
00:13:28
I'm not going to qualify.
00:13:29
I'm gonna go juco.
00:13:30
I'm not gonna qualify.
00:13:32
I've won an agent because I want to be put in the right position.
00:13:35
I'm gonna go play ever sees you before you go play proceeds, you go get agent or even go down.
00:13:39
There's basically route.
00:13:40
He plays with thunder, By the way, um, he got picked in the first round.
00:13:45
So you say you I think I'm gonna go learn the business side of the NBA, which the NBA is a business.
00:13:51
You guys seeing this every single day? I'm gonna go to business side, worked for new balance.
00:13:57
I interned for new balance, made a meal if they get drafted into the n b.
00:14:02
A.
00:14:03
So there's different avenues now for athletes to do.
00:14:05
But a lot of athletes wanna play an incident later Won the college tournament field they want their college feel, But a lot of guys can't pass that a c t.
00:14:12
But there are so many resource is to pass the a C t is hard, not the past unless you just don't like school.
00:14:18
Like I'm just read together in high school.
00:14:20
I don't want to go to college.
00:14:21
I'd rather go play overseas.
00:14:23
Uh, blue Jaden.
00:14:25
Thank you for joining broadcast.
00:14:26
I appreciate it.
00:14:28
I'm going to skip through some of this, okay? No, I'm not, because this is okay.
00:14:34
I finish with non qualifier.
00:14:36
Partial qualifier.
00:14:38
This is for division to a student athlete who has not met all the academic requirements necessary to be a qualifier, but has complete the necessary courses at a minimum G p a.
00:14:48
Or achieve the minimum s a t slash A C T. Score.
00:14:52
If you are a partial qualifier, you may practice on campus and receive financial A from a division to school.
00:14:58
But you may not compete for one act immature.
00:15:01
Division one does not have partial qualifiers.
00:15:04
Either you qualify for division one or you don't.
00:15:07
They don't have partial qualifiers.
00:15:09
There's little qualifier.
00:15:10
Is qualifies a student for purposes of determining eligibility for financial aid practice and competition has is what you must have graduated from high school.
00:15:20
Successfully completed the course core curriculum consisting of a minimum number of courses and specific specific Fire Pacific for specific fired subjects within prescribed time.
00:15:34
Frank My seven.
00:15:36
Xing gets the best of me.
00:15:37
Sometimes guys obtained a specific, specific, specific five minimum G p a in the core curriculum and obtained a specific five minimum F 80 or a C T score.
00:15:51
Those qualifying, I believe, is 18.
00:15:53
Actually, you need 18 graduate from high school.
00:15:56
That's basically what you need.
00:15:57
Now A red shirt into this is the Red shirts.
00:16:01
This applies to Division one division to redshirt.
00:16:04
E refers to someone who is a road full time at the school but does not play for an entire economic your for so purposes of saving a season of competition.
00:16:14
A picture does not play in any college games with scrimmages, go scrimmage any given sport for an academic year, even though that soon is otherwise eligible.
00:16:25
If you do not play in a sport for the entire academic year, you may have not used a season of competition.
00:16:32
However, if you play in one second of the game is a college to Napoli.
00:16:37
You are not a red shirt.
00:16:38
Red shirting does not exist in Division three because if you play or practice after the first opportunity, you compete.
00:16:44
You are charged with the season of participation.
00:16:46
Now I want tohave.
00:16:47
That goes because if you play like 23 college games and you get hurt, um, you apply for Richard.
00:16:57
So you have.
00:16:58
I think you have to apply for Richard to get hurt.
00:16:59
So if you play for, like maybe one or two gangs, you get hurt.
00:17:03
Some college coaches don't put those freshman quarterback in freshman quarterbacks, and when I'm blowing somebody out because they want to redshirt them and give them four years to play, Um, yeah, so I wonder how that works If you get injured.
00:17:18
I know you have to apply for a razor if you get injured.
00:17:20
But he acts to be has to be like a minimum of gains.
00:17:25
Here's a walk home, someone who was not typically recorded by school to participate in sports and does not receive a scholarship from the school but who becomes a member of one of the school's athletic teams.
00:17:35
I love Walk Off. I really do.
00:17:37
Here's a transform processes that his works academic year in residence.
00:17:43
Under the basic transfer regulations, you must spend an academic year in residence at a school to which you are transferred.
00:17:50
If you transfer from a four year college to an incident like school, you must complete one economic.
00:17:57
You're in residence at the new school before you can play four or received travel expenses from the new school unless you qualify for a transfer exception or waiver to satisfy an economic urine.
00:18:08
Residents, you must be enrolled in a successfully successfully complete a four time program of studies for two full semesters or 3 4/4 Some of school terms and part time Roman do not count towards fulfilling an academic year, and residents of summer school does not count permission. The contact.
00:18:28
This is where people get caught up.
00:18:32
If you are a row full time in a four year school, athletic staff members former A C.
00:18:38
Double A school cannot contact you or your parents unless they have a letter from your current athletic director or your athletics administrator.
00:18:48
Designed by the athletics director, those air that's in parentheses, guys, if your current school mission to contact the new school cannot encourage you to transfer and individuals wanted to, can I give you an athletic scholarship until you have attended the new school for one academic year? If you are transferring from a school that is not a member of the unsuitable light or N A, I do not need a permission to Cox Act letter.
00:19:17
Okay, self release.
00:19:20
Important as well.
00:19:22
If you are a student at a division three school, you want to transfer to another Division three school.
00:19:27
You may issue Europe her own permission to contact self released to allow another Division three school to contact you about transfer that could get across the Division three Transform Book Transformer credit hours.
00:19:41
This is a big one, guys, Um, credit hours earned at your previous school that your new school will accept as the Greek credit.
00:19:49
That's why people spend longer and schools life spent longer in school each each school determines how many and which credit hours are acceptable from before transferring transferred.
00:20:00
Trigger a condition at a fixed.
00:20:02
Your transport status transfer student is a student.
00:20:05
We'll transfer from a collegiate institution after having triggered any of these conditions and rode full time during any time in attended class or in Division one.
00:20:18
If you are in a road full time and our own campus on the opening day of classes, reported for a regular squad, practice practice or competed while enrolled less than full time received institutional financial aid while attending summer school.
00:20:38
For those are the rules guys.
00:20:40
Now I'm going to get into something else. Let me click.
00:20:51
This is a lot.
00:20:53
This is This is a lot.
00:20:56
I'm not going to really get into all these guys I'm gonna phone.
00:21:03
This is a lot, but I think that's what I'll give you on that on for bomb basketball.
00:21:07
Because these pages, I just told you guys to transfer terms.
00:21:12
So that's the transfer turns.
00:21:13
Guys, you got eligibility timeline.
00:21:15
You got exceptions.
00:21:16
You got initial eligibility, you got school, she got students, um, got the transfer process, and that's how that works, guys, Now let's get into football.
00:21:26
Let's talk about some football transfers.
00:21:28
A lot of these guys, you will know Jar Borough was the quarterback transfer from Ohio State's L S U Jalen hurts quarterback he transferred from Alabama.
00:21:38
So you he was a grad Transfer.
00:21:41
Jalen Hurts was I'm not sure what job are.
00:21:43
Owasso Choice Sermon Trace Army got hurt at the end of the season last year.
00:21:48
Running back from Oh, you he got hurt.
00:21:51
I think he graduated from Oh, you he did.
00:21:55
Now he's a grad. Transferred.
00:21:56
He's going to Ohio State.
00:21:58
Calamari quarterback.
00:21:59
Texas Anne of He transferred.
00:22:01
So you quarterback Austin Kindle translated from Oh, you to West Virginia quarterback Alex Horny Brook got remember very few Big 10 fans.
00:22:09
He transferred from Wisconsin and Florida State quarterback Kelly Bryant.
00:22:14
You guys, No sunshine.
00:22:16
Um Ah problem Sunshine.
00:22:18
Uh, he transferred from claims in the Mizzou always called him sunshine because he looks like Sunshine Travel.
00:22:24
Lawrence beat him out for the starting spot.
00:22:27
Jacob Eastern allowed.

00:23:49
He is transferring from University Houston to the U, which is university of by any day guy everyday there.
00:23:54
So I think they're gonna start trying to bring you back those air transfers from football.
00:24:00
Just some notable ones.
00:24:01
Ones I remembered at the top of my head and someone's that happened this year.
00:24:06
Now let's get into basketball.
00:24:09
We're talking basketball.
00:24:10

00:24:25
He's gonna sit out of here.
00:24:27
Um, he's a point guard.
00:24:28
Point bar. Looked at Muhammad.
00:24:30
It just I just thought of something. Today.
00:24:32
He's transferred from Ohio State.
00:24:33
I don't know where he's going.
00:24:35
In shooting guard Alex O'Connell from Duke.
00:24:38
He's sitting out a year.
00:24:39
He's transferring from Duke. We don't know where he's going.
00:24:41
It shooting Gar.
00:24:42
Charles O'Bannon.
00:24:44
Julia from USC is going to TCU point guard deejay Carton from Ohio State Sitting out of here.
00:24:51
We don't know where he's going now here is number one.
00:24:54
This is the number one transfer grad transfer except towns out of Harvard.
00:24:59
A lot of people been talking about him.
00:25:02
Um, he's going to Ohio state.
00:25:06
It was between Ohio State and Duke for him, his teammate point guard.
00:25:12
He was a small four, by the way, said Sounds of the small floor number one point guard brush achin he transformed from Harvard.
00:25:20
We don't know where he's going.
00:25:21
It, uh, everybody knows it's got power forward Shareef O'Neal.
00:25:26
He left.
00:25:27
You see Elena built middle of the season.
00:25:28
He's going to L a Shooting pictures dance.
00:25:30
I'm a bottle with Dad is shocked.
00:25:33
Shooting guard Kobe King.
00:25:35
Wisconsin's going to Nebraska, He left was constant February when he commits a Nebraska in February, a guard training goings.
00:25:45
He's going from pit.
00:25:46
We don't know what you're going it small forward Landers, Noli, the second Virginia Tech.
00:25:52
We don't know where he is born yet in guard, I guess.
00:25:55
Just got this off the prison guard Allen Griffin.
00:25:57
He's going from Illinois's to Syracuse.
00:26:02
Aren't you the freshman, by the way, Alan Griffin is so.
00:26:05
Those are some transfers from football.
00:26:07
The basketball just gave you a couple of transfers.
00:26:10
Now, when you are a grad student, you don't have to sit out of here.
00:26:14
You can play it immediately when you are, Have you guys heard the terms.
00:26:20
If your undergrad, I think you have to sit out of here depending on win and how you transfer explained.
00:26:28
I explained those rooms earlier.
00:26:30
Now here's some questions I have put the virus.
00:26:34
Allow basketball eligibility be listed.
00:26:38
I saw I read somewhere that because the guys and get the play, their conference tournaments or the instability tournaments, they might be a little frugal with the transfer portal.
00:26:49
They might let guys, um, transfer and be eligible immediately on the graph.
00:26:55
Grad transfers are Brad.
00:26:56
Transfers are eligible.
00:26:58
IT media lied to play, so that might be ableto happen.
00:27:03
Um, also those spring sports.
00:27:07
They are allowing spring sports another year of eligibility, but not winter sports or basketball.
00:27:12
The winter sport.
00:27:13
But it does.
00:27:14
Finishing its spring, it goes winter to spring.
00:27:16
What's best, Those sports they go when it of spring are just missing out.
00:27:20
They won't be ableto have another year of eligibility, but those spring sports softball, baseball, gymnastic, golf, tennis.
00:27:30
What's like that? I think track cattle track and field a plastic.
00:27:34
You got indoor meats and outdoor meets.
00:27:36
Um, I'm not sure how that applies your indoor meets.
00:27:40
They usually at the beginning of the school year if I'm thinking correctly, so those sports gonna have their eligibility granite to them.
00:27:48
So that's really nice of the incident like that. Do that.
00:27:51
So I think I don't know if basketball will be affected.
00:27:55
I know football won't be affected because I got to play out the whole year, but I'm not a basket.
00:27:59
I'll be affected when it comes to eligibility.
00:28:02
Now, why do you transfer? Why do kids transfer coaching changes? I'll talk about that later on the night coach and changes.
00:28:10
I see some pieces of his home.
00:28:14
Some kids, they just don't cut it.
00:28:16
Division 12 or three, they go down a level.
00:28:18
Some cases go down a level.
00:28:20
I'm no kids that go from the vision, one to juco and then go play a year in juco and then come back and be Division one.
00:28:29
Ready? Um, some kids go from division to Division One.
00:28:35
I think they're ready.
00:28:36
You know, a lot of kids go from JUCO.
00:28:38
It's a division one, but that's not really transferring.
00:28:41
This is where two year You spent two years and you calling you go or some case been one here and you come and they go, Um, there's gotta draft this meant when you're Intraco.
00:28:50
He's actually I'm gonna look his name.
00:28:53
Look, he's get one Andrew Coe leave declared with Viagra.
00:28:59
He said, Well, you know.
00:29:00
But he committed to Louisville.
00:29:02
So he's committed to Louisville.
00:29:03
Guys, it's in.
00:29:06
What year did you go, Harry? Where is he yet? Players to watch.
00:29:15
I have so many notes, it's all year.
00:29:18
Well, can I call you droll and close? And second teams? Okay.
00:29:29
Here he is.
00:29:32
Jace, grow up. Freshman John Logan College.
00:29:34
He's actually committed Louisville.
00:29:36
He's a juco God, he's committed to Louisville, but he has declared for the NBA draft, so that could happen as well.
00:29:45
Um, money than you guys to go to work overseas.
00:29:49
MBA.
00:29:50
I haven't heard of that.
00:29:51
I'm pretty sure it's probably happened, but that's what people transfer.
00:29:54
Sometimes. This is not a good fit playing.
00:29:56
Tom.
00:29:57
You thought you were gonna get playing time, but you're not, um you get injured.
00:30:00
Some guys transfer after they get injured.
00:30:03
Um, it just really depends on your situation.
00:30:07
I will tell you guys a story time in a minute.
00:30:09
When I get done with these questions hacking these rules and prove, I think, honestly, if you're a basket, I might go football terms in football.
00:30:20
If you do not play, this is just me.
00:30:23
I won't get to in depth with it.
00:30:25
But if you do not play Hold on, guys.
00:30:42
Okay, guys, I'm back.
00:30:43
I'm sorry. It's too much background noise.
00:30:45
Um, if you do not play in your conference, so you know, you play a couple of games out of conference in football and then you start planning your conference.
00:30:54
I think if you play those couple of games, um, before the conference tournament, I mean not before conference play starts in football.
00:31:06
And you, you decide.
00:31:08
Okay, I want to leave and you start their second semester and ah, at a new school.
00:31:14
If you start the spring semester at a new school, I think you should be eligible to play in the fall.
00:31:20
That's just me, Parsley.
00:31:21
I think you should be eligible right then and there instead of waiting two semesters.
00:31:24
Because football is basically just one semester.
00:31:29
It's August through.
00:31:30
If you make it to January.
00:31:32
Jane, where if you make a bowl game Jane worried sometimes well, depends on which ball game you make it.
00:31:36
This is December, so I think that's how it should be.
00:31:39
If you play those couple of out of conference games, then you decide.
00:31:42
Hey, I'm not playing.
00:31:43
I want a transfer and the you transfer any structure new school in the spring.
00:31:49
I think you should be able to play in the fall.
00:31:52
Dishes me.
00:31:53
Basketball, I think, should be the same.
00:31:56
I think you play those couple of games.
00:31:58
You know, those tournaments.
00:31:59
Couple of gangs before the see even starts, UM, not horses dogs before the conference season starts.
00:32:06
In my opinion, you should be eligible to transfer and play in November because you haven't started conference.
00:32:16
Play it.
00:32:17
Most conferences start in the beginning of January, which is the beginning of the new calendar year.
00:32:23
So I think you should be eligible to play because guess what? You you set out basically almost a whole year.
00:32:32
You set out Ah, whole semester.
00:32:34
Then I know they don't count summer semesters.
00:32:36
So summers as part time semesters, anything like that.
00:32:40
But you should be eligible to play in November for football basketball.
00:32:44
I think that's how to rule should be.
00:32:46
I'm long as you transferred in time and start the spring at your new school in January and you don't play any conference games.
00:32:54
I think you should be eligible to play the next the following season.
00:32:58
Everybody have that has their opinions, but that's just not okay here.
00:33:01
Yes, I think the rules can improve.
00:33:04
Coin Flores is your decision.
00:33:06
Could it be family? Could it be money? I know this is a dirty game, the escalators playing.
00:33:11
I know a lot of cook Will.
00:33:13
There are.
00:33:14
A lot of coaches would play that dirty game as well.
00:33:16
Um, these players getting paid under the table, I'm just going to say it.
00:33:21
A lot of these players are getting paid underneath the table.
00:33:23
Families again.
00:33:24
Taking care of the Devil Ages hasn't caught him yet.
00:33:26
Um, there are a lot of rules that are violated on recruiting troops.
00:33:30
There are a lot of rules that are violated with end the turns of the Double A.
00:33:35
They have that rule Book coaches have their rule book.
00:33:38
Um, it is what it is.
00:33:41
I'm just giving you guys my honest opinion because I know it happens because you see it every year, such and such, incidentally, violations such a such a violation, such as such as banned from and double a tournament such and such as banned from going to the College of Gordon College.
00:33:56
Beau gangs get this many scholarships snatch, get this much money taking away.
00:34:01
So it happens.
00:34:02
So there are a lot of things that influence your decision family can say.
00:34:06
Okay, I want you closer to home.
00:34:08
Somebody could get sick, Somebody could pass away. I know that happens.
00:34:12
Um, you could actually start talking to an agent.
00:34:16
It's It's not.
00:34:17
It's against the rules to talk to an agent, but a lot of times agent could persuade you.
00:34:21
Okay, I think you should play open season like this money and then go to the NBA after planning your insta belay.
00:34:26
That happens.
00:34:28
I'm not gonna tell you who I know that happened with, but that happens.
00:34:31
I've seen it happen a couple of times.
00:34:33
Guys like me and I'm not really playing over here.
00:34:35
I want to go get the pro competition on overseas.
00:34:38
They leave the answer to belay, but they're still sublight athletes.
00:34:42
So long as you're in Incidentally, athlete, you can not have an agent.
00:34:45
Um, now, when you declare for Dr once you get an agent, you can no longer go back to college so you can declare for the NBA draft.
00:34:57
But long as you don't start signed with an agent, I mean sign.
00:35:01
You can.
00:35:02
If you sign with that agent, you can no longer about to school.
00:35:05
I don't know.
00:35:06
Some guys are like, OK, I know a couple of stories of guys was like, Okay, I'm not really playing over here.
00:35:11
I need to make some money.
00:35:12
They got agent signed with an agent.
00:35:16
We're telling a college coaches.
00:35:17
Yeah, I'm a comeback blob of a block.
00:35:19
And you better you two in the name and implant on the seat.
00:35:23
So that's how that happened.
00:35:25
Not really a violation.
00:35:27
Um parte se because once you sign with that agent, you can't come back to school anyway.
00:35:32
But they guess how they did it because of money, terms and things like that.
00:35:36
And they weren't comfortable with their teams.
00:35:39
But that's just what I think.
00:35:40
Guys, that's just my opinion.
00:35:42
I asked her some questions, influence decisions and things like that.
00:35:45
Now, quick story.
00:35:46
Time's video's already 35 minutes.
00:35:48
I'm gonna give you guys a quick story time.
00:35:50
So I played for three different colleges When I was in college.
00:35:54
I played for Hillsdale.
00:35:55
Freewill Baptist is in Moore, Oklahoma.
00:35:58
Um, actually, it is no longer Hillsdale.
00:36:01
It is now, Randall, I want a national championship.
00:36:04
Division one, Bible, College, national championship there.
00:36:07
They didn't have my major, so I left.
00:36:10
I want to drive this Christian college after that.
00:36:12
Um, I was told I hope that this is how it works.
00:36:16
I left one school when I should have stayed for two years, but I didn't.
00:36:22
This school was in a I now I was told a lot of things that did not happen.
00:36:28
I was told my school would be paying for.
00:36:31
I was told the housing arrangements was already set up.
00:36:34
They had my major, which was correct, and all those I was told a lot of things that did not happen.
00:36:39
So plate there, four years.
00:36:42
It didn't work out.
00:36:43
I wasn't playing and it didn't work out financially.
00:36:46
I actually had to end up owing him money.
00:36:48
So my summer job I was paying off a bill from school.
00:36:53
Actually, my mom was like, You're not going back? Um, I was like, I agree.
00:36:57
So I transfer to Saint Gregory's University, which is no longer Ah, out there anymore because they three years, two or three years ago, was it three years ago.
00:37:12
But you have enough money to stay open.
00:37:14
Very, very expensive.
00:37:15
It's in a I as well, Division One in a I A cZ well, and I didn't have any problems getting released from my coach and Jarvis to go to Saint Gregory's.
00:37:26
The old single, the single biggest culture.
00:37:28
The time was the old Hillsdale men's basketball coach.
00:37:32
So he saw me play.
00:37:33
He was like, Do you want to come here? We got everything now.
00:37:36
Everything he told me happened.
00:37:38
So I got the money I was supposed to get of my room and board and everything was handled.
00:37:44
Academics, lives.
00:37:45
They had my major and things like that.
00:37:46
So it worked out for me.
00:37:48
Um, where it got messy.
00:37:51
Um, where they got messy for me was my second semester of my senior year.
00:37:56
So junior year, I got to sing Gregor's 100 a year, so I was.
00:37:59
It kills.
00:38:00
They'll slash Randall.
00:38:01
My freshman year sop****re year was Jarvis.
00:38:05
It's third and fourth year with Sang Gregory's Now the Fort.
00:38:09
The second semester's is where he got it.
00:38:11
Got tricky Never when I told you guys about hours, 12 hours, so I took.
00:38:21
I enrolled because I was close to graduating.
00:38:25
So I am rode in 11 hours and I asked my academic advisor, Are you sure? Um, this is all I need.
00:38:36
He was like, Yeah, I said Okay, so I played the first semester.
00:38:40
I had 11 hours.
00:38:41
I played the first domestic.
00:38:43
There comes a second semester.
00:38:45
I get a I've play.
00:38:47
I think I played two games before the semester starts.
00:38:51
Officially, we had, like, two or three conference games.
00:38:54
I got to play those games.
00:38:55
After we play a conference game, I get back to school and I'm at practice and coach was like, Well, your organic ELISA wants to talk to you.
00:39:04
The dean of academics want stuff I'm like, Okay, cool.
00:39:06
So I'll go talk to him.
00:39:07
They're like, Well, you're not eligible to play this semester.
00:39:09
I say, why not press when things got got fish, you got tricky.
00:39:14
Um, I ended up not being eligible by ours, and I ended up not finishing out my senior in college.
00:39:22
I don't tell people that started very often.
00:39:24
So actually, that's the first time I've shared the story with somebody other than my family.
00:39:31
That note.
00:39:32
But yeah, that's what happened to me.
00:39:34
So I got caught up in an hour's game because I was always ready to graduate, so I couldn't finish on my second semester.
00:39:42
ST. Gregory's. I could have a senior night.
00:39:44
All that good stuff compete for their for a national championship and all that.
00:39:48
So that was very disappointing.
00:39:51
So they're not plans for the University of Oklahoma.
00:39:52
Of course, I finished school.
00:39:54
I didn't play bass.
00:39:55
LA just finished school out.
00:39:57
Mom was like, I'm not paying for you to go to Shankar agrees.
00:39:59
I was like, I don't want you to, um I got some money.
00:40:03
What? So you infinite stop the University of Oklahoma? So that's not transferred story.
00:40:08
They didn't get messy.
00:40:09
Messy, because I got released from my college where my Hillsdale college.
00:40:14
I don't have to release me.
00:40:15
Um, actually, she did.
00:40:17
She released me.
00:40:18
She said, go. But if you want to come back and come back.
00:40:20
And then I went from an A I schooled in a I school, but I got released, so I was eligible to play.
00:40:25
Um, their rules are a little different now.
00:40:27
The rules now might be different than they were early to doubt. Will.
00:40:32
This was kind of late to thousands of 7 2008 or somewhere around there.
00:40:37
So the rules might be different now, but they she released me.
00:40:40
I was eligible place and Gregory's because it was too in a I schools.
00:40:44
Two different conferences.
00:40:45
One was a regular conference in and the other one was a Southern Athletic Conference.
00:40:50
Uh, yeah.
00:40:51
So that's my story, guys.
00:40:52
They want to get into too much detail, as you want to tell you about those rules and things like that.
00:40:58
Well, that's it for this video of long video.
00:41:02
Um, I gave you guys my opinion gave you a real life story about what happened.
00:41:07
And also, I'm gonna do a video on the impact of coaching changes and instead of l.
00:41:11
A. That will be in about another two hours or so.
00:41:13
Um, thank you.
00:41:14
Got so much during the broadcast I appreciate it.
00:41:16
Oh, make some corrections from my last video.
00:41:21
I wrote them down somewhere on here.
00:41:24
Already made the correction from video D yesterday talking about, uh I was talking about the incident, I rewatched it.
00:41:36
I was talking about the incident, always talking about tournaments, tournaments, and I made the correction in the video.
00:41:42
Also, there is a correction to make in the title of when my videos.
00:41:45
It says in CC, eh, It should be NC double, but you guys know that that was my last year.
00:41:51
I think I did.
00:41:52
Um, I said the University of Houston would be playing Tulsa, but they play in the semis.
00:42:00
When I did predicted conference champions, so I would have University Houston, Cincinnati.
00:42:05
But I would have University of Houston as my champion.
00:42:08
I corrected that last year.
00:42:09
I'm a corrected again.
00:42:10
This Rio doesn't get You guys are watching this video didn't brush the last video.
00:42:14
Um, also ah, university.
00:42:17
I say you of F But it was university Houston with the preseason champ for the E A C.
00:42:22
So I predicted conference champions for a different conferences.
00:42:25
You guys will check that out.
00:42:26
Actually, technically, seven because the eighth conference got to play in their conference tournament.
00:42:30
The E A C um, I said Tulsa, Houston will be planets each other.
00:42:35
But when I meant to say would be Cincinnati in Houston in their conference championship and I would have picked University of Houston because Cincinnati was a number.
00:42:47
I have all the scenes running down, written down in the oil E A C.
00:42:55
Thats not.
00:42:56
It was number one overall seed in the tournament.
00:42:59
Cincinnati The innovations also your invention.
00:43:01
Tulsa would have played in it.
00:43:02
Semis in the Cincinnati Any Wichita State would have played the semis, but now they have to change it.
00:43:09
Cincinnati in your actual play in the final, and I would have you have h winning that game.
00:43:14
So that's the correction to have to make every watch my videos walking correct myself.
00:43:18
I will be back.
00:43:20
But the impact of coaching changes in its the ballet I will talk about some coaches changes at football and basketball.
00:43:27
Those are impacted a lot.
00:43:29
Here is my question is why did coaches leave? How does this impact transfer slash current players and family adjustments? Those questions I will be answered.
00:43:39
I have one more story about coaching impact as well.
00:43:44
A pro life story.
00:43:45
I won't tell you.
00:43:46
Names and schools, of course, but I'll just tell you, um, a story about that as well.

00:43:56

00:44:24
If he doesn't, I won't.
00:44:26
Those are three videos.
00:44:27
I know for sure that I'm going to do also.
00:44:30
I'm going to do a video about SDA in his progression from season one to season two.
00:44:34
And also I'm going to do a video about Steven Adams as well.
00:44:41
So I'm gonna have the s t a video.
00:44:42
Um, if you guys are no extra years shake Gil Driss Alexander.
00:44:47
I called him and she a guard for the open city Thunder and Steven Adams, a big man. And for Oklahoma City Thunder.
00:44:53
So those videos and I'm gonna do for sure, I'm gonna look in his progression between years wanting to s ta.
00:44:59
Um And then I'm gonna also look at Steven Adams and why the thunder drafted Steven Adams.
00:45:05
Nobody knew who he was coming out of Pit didn't play much at Pitt.
00:45:09

00:00:04

00:00:49

00:16:37

00:16:46

This is the number one transfer grad transfer except towns out of Harvard.
00:24:59
A lot of people been talking about him.
00:25:02

00:25:06
It was between Ohio State and Duke for him, his teammate point guard.
00:25:12
He was a small four, by the way, said Sounds of the small floor number one point guard brush achin he transformed from Harvard.

00:25:21
It, uh, everybody knows it's got power forward Shareef O'Neal.
00:25:26

Wisconsin's going to Nebraska, He left was constant February when he commits a Nebraska in February, a guard training goings.
00:25:45
He's going from pit.
00:25:46
We don't know what you're going it small forward Landers, Noli, the second Virginia Tech.
00:25:52

00:43:53
So, guys, thank you so much during the broadcast.
00:43:55
I appreciate it.
00:43:56
Next week I'm gonna make a video, but I make a board and I planned out my week.
00:44:00
So next week, I'm a plan.
00:44:01
I'm aboard.
00:44:02
Just know that these videos will be on next week.
00:44:06

00:44:10

00:44:12

00:44:14
I d around one.
00:44:15
Guys, go check that video out Also.
00:44:17
Hopefully, Mel Kiper Jr has his roundness four point of mock draft, um out by then.
00:44:23
If he does, I'll do it.
00:45:09
