A decided not to grant winter sports athletes, including basketball players, an extra year of eligibility due to the Corona virus pandemic.
The division one kept the Division One Council announced that yesterday.
Meanwhile, student athletes that compete in spring sports like baseball, were given an extra year.
Schools will be allowed to carry more players on scholarships and can use the N.
C A a student assistance fund to pay for the scholarships of students who take advantage of the additional year in 2020 and 21.
So, um, really disappointing for basketball players.
