What is going on, guys? Steve Cantat o back with you once again.
Things that coming in to join me this afternoon on Friday night? Uh, no, I haven't been on about a week now, Maybe a little bit more than a week, but there's a lot of free agency, uh, ketchup on fantasy impacts of that.
So I figured I'd jump on and get care of that before the March month is over.
Before we start talking about the draft, um, it's gonna be real interesting coming up next month and be doing a lot of rookie profiling for you guys.
Kind of help you guys out with your rookie drafts and coming up or just in general for your re. Drax.
If you're looking to get rookies this year and who to take and what not.
We'll talk about that all month coming up.
So looking for that.
But let's finish off march the right way.
Free agency has been a blessing with this whole, uh, crisis that the world is experiencing.
And, uh, free agency has been kind of a nice Ah, no software and get that, you know.
Hey, Alex, Thanks for joining.
Um, you know It's the naked grow soft blanket for us having free agency going around and kind of keeping us relevant here and having us something that do in the off season, which eyes sometimes very slow.
So, you know, I'm just gonna kept you up from I think it was last Thursday and left them.
I've been on So, um, some big things, obviously over the bigger ones first, obviously this one I think I missed last week.
But Nick Foles did get traded to the both the Buffalo, the Chicago Bears for fourth round pick.
It took on his entire contract, and now he will be competing with Midst Robiskie for that starting job.
Um, overall, I think it's just a non vanish related and think it's just a kind of a bonehead move, I guess.
I understand they wanted to find a way to get more competition in for Miss Travis Key, but you're taking on $88 million over the next three seasons.
Hell, that's definitely gonna keep you somewhat tight.
Paying two quarterbacks thesis amount of money.
I think, actually, Mr Bisset is in his rookie contract, so maybe not.
But again, you're paying a guy who may or may not start for your team.
Maybe Mr Biscuit beats him out.
And then you have a backup quarterback.
You're paying 20 year.
So you really I should have done that.
I think it's the bone had moved there, could have another option that they're obviously I would have brought in someone like Jamis or now Cam Newton, maybe to do a better job, but that it come fans hiding things for joining our S f er, all 86 for joining us. Thank you so much.
I said they had other options.
They should have waited again.
Can would have been a great option.
We'll talk about Cam later, but I think it was a bonehead move bringing in nickels and again, there's no much fantasy impact because is he really gonna be mus**** different than Mr Bestie? I don't know.
I mean, Mr Bisney at least kept his fantasy wife, but she was relevant all season.
He put a least a couple of 20 point games.
So for stretch this season, Nick Foles I mean, we all know he's really done much outside of Philly.
I mean, even this past season with the Jags and get one game over 20 fantasy points isn't really something encouraging.
Look forward to again.
Could be receivers element, of course, but it just isn't gonna really It's really a neutral thing, and it's just overall.
It's not a great play.
Um, going into this next one here again, Todd Gurley, uh, signed with Atlanta after being released from the Rams again.
Overall, I think it is a pretty good trade overall for the notary, but signing you know, he's been getting much improved.
Opens a blind, um, and he's gonna have, you know, a different kind of place styling and definitely better offensive line going.
And they think so.
Follow up standing.
So thank you for that.
Um, but what does this do with him being in Atlanta in the back? You know, what does it do for the Rams? Also Atlanta first.
I mean, it isn't much of an upgrade, but it's definitely an upgrade I ever say.
I said better off blind, I think a better overall offensive system right now going on after the Rams, kind of which is all over the place last year, and girl is gonna be the lead guy here.
You're not gonna worry about someone else really? Taken over like a brat.
Like a, um, you know, Smith or anything like that or Cuatro l. Olson.
These guys are gonna, like, take Carrie leave.
Apparently, my only concern is the touchdowns.
He could see someone of a Russian this year.
Even he could maybe have 1000 yards still, but maybe only get, like, six touchdowns, you have to realize that top earlier 12 rushing touchdowns last year.
That was absurd.
He had 61 red zone attempts.
I doubt he gets that about the Freeman, who even still miss games only had 33.
Uh, I just don't see that happening.
They do have Julio Calvin.
Really? They're gonna have hated hers, clog up some of those red zone attempts there.
I don't see them having that same situation.
And this is a past first team.
It's their cutter. Let offense.
He is a past first kind of guy, so maybe girl gets more receptions, but I don't see them getting 12 touchdowns next year again.
I think he's a solid army to with the upside of being everyone, but definitely an Army to You don't want to drive you No one running back.
You definitely got a guy on your team.
Just that Just alone on the touchdown regression coming this year, Um, on the other side of the ball.
I mean, I was out of all the other team, like the Rams.
Uh, this opens up the big starting spot here, and you got two players.
You got Mel Malcolm Brown, and you have to roll Henderson.
And no, Malcolm Brown is kind of that veteran guy who they brought back because he knows the playbook.
They signed them from that deal with from Detroit.
They brought him back in, and then he had Darryl Henderson, the third round rookie out of Memphis, and he's got a Robinson to shine.
He didn't really do that rookie season.
I think it was just the fact that, you know Girlie was league.
I'm on Brown of the playbook.
They're a team that was looking for a championship run.
They won't really truck trusting the rookies.
Last year he didn't play some decent working back to back 11 carries a big games.
That girl was out, so he obviously saw some work.
Ah, but he was kind of minimal used throughout the rest of season.
But I think he has a real shot.
I think early on you're gonna expect these two kind of battle it out.
Maybe be an early on split, which is Pharrell fantasy.
But I think Henderson is the guy you want long from kind of thing.
Um, you know, kind of Devon single Terran, gringo, Relapse, Fury, that kind of situation where, you know, they were kind of back and forth.
But at some point in the season, Singletary kind of over this team led the team that carried.
I think it's good the same situation with Henderson this year.
I think Henderson is just the more talented guy.
Even though the road may have experienced.
May know the playbook better but eventually think will come down to getting your talents of players on the field, Uh, and succeeding for this rap scene that they want to make the Super Bowl run.
So Henderson is a guy on the rise right now.
Malcolm Brown is someone you want a snack to, maybe late, just in case.
But Henderson is a guy.
Henderson is a guy with rising up bullet right now with this, uh, recent situation, Um, and then Melvin Gordon going over to remember, You know, this was an interesting sounding as well Don't care for because I really thought Tender Gordon would go to a situation where would be the lead back? And now we get the two mil 2002 years, $16 million contract will to go there fourth highest all time. That's by the way.
Uh, doesn't say, but it's important.
Hasn't playing some behind him crappy offense of lines over the years and still producing very strong.
I think his best offensive blind he had was a 20 rank overall.
So imagine what he could do with this in Denver.
Steve was just a definitely a good upgrade over the whole world for, um, the offense of, you know, scheme is definitely gonna fit in kind of a fact.
That kind of does both.
Gets a lot of gets Carrick.
It's exception down in the backfield and Patron was like all friends.
But it's gonna be interesting to see what they do and how they split up. Carrie's here.
Does Phillip Lindsay.
Um well, before the Phillip, Lindsay, let me talk about Roy screaming, Uh, if he has held onto him.
You dynasty guys, and you guys are just a big boy screaming fan.
Think at this point you can pretty much, you know, dump him off can.
Or just don't even pick up with this year's driver.
There's something relevant.
Lesson gets traded for release and finds a new team back.
And Lindsey now.
No, it definitely have that.
Put this dagger island because I have really high hopes for Lindsay take over this year again.
This bullet, no offense.
A scheme with the multipurpose back here.
Um, I thought Lindsay really could get those targets this year and kind of be a backup.
Gets 1000 yards plus the targets.
But it may or may not happen that way.
And now he's looking at a roll.
People were saying, Awesome tacular.
I don't think he's an awesome guy.
Also, Neck was a different kind of guy.
Um, Lindsay, I think is he's gonna have, like, 10 carries that touches maybe 10 15 touches a game, Maybe Still, um, maybe less maybe just have maybe 7 to 10.
Uh, it just it's definitely gonna put him down.
So, Army three spot where you're gonna take them and hope it.
Something happens and you get to start always and have a decent game here and there.
So it's definitely someone you're not gonna let the partners much now unless you're looking to take, you know, shot on.
A guy could end up seeing work because Mel Gordon is injury prone, like back from Melvin Gordon sick that I get not a good friend this.
Well, either way see Galvin to join in.
L. A. Lauren thinks Jordan I appreciate that.
Um, but nothing Bourne going here, definitely, but of his dagger, That fantasy stock, in some sense, because he's not going to see some split time with, you know, Lindsay considerably still good running back, and they're gonna find a wayto let him time in there and everything in between.
And he may or may not see the workload.
We would've saw it.
He went to Houston or one Tampa of something like that.
But, hey, he's still an army to do.
I think he will have a majority carries in this backfield because they did sign up to 16 million over two years with a lot of money for two years for our running back cell.
And I think he gets enough working as an RV to figure team that you could be happy with a success.
But he's more of a lower an RV to if you could find someone else in a better situation that take advantage of that.
But, uh, with Mother Borden and you know, Denver definitely doesn't but a great great a twist off his season now, Um, and then Herbie brought those fixed marble into your deals.
Well, definitely an upgrade over Vance McDonald, who's been basically a disappointment since he's been with Vicksburg now the last few seasons and hopefully be Bomb can kind of make his position relevant in Vicksburg here, Um, it hasn't really had a position.
This was tied a petition, and Vicksburg really hasn't been that effective fantasy over the years.
I mean, ever since he Miller's early days, that was based on the last time we saw a relevant right in here, and no Big Ben is coming back.
Hopefully is healthy, but there are a lot of mouths to feed there.
If you're offended juju of your Big Ben beyond jobs inner James Washington.
These guys are gonna see targets You're gonna think about guys like James Connor jailed Samuel.
These guys gonna demand targets in the backfield.
So it's really understanding how many targets you're actually gonna see with Eric.
Be wrong back there.
If you're gonna go for that like lower and tight and you're five drafts tight ends Li er again.
Has a decent season, maybe a touchdown kind of season where he is No.
Six or seven touchdowns, maybe 300 yards.
But don't expect a huge guy wasn't a jump into being a low and tight and one or anything like I just don't see it happening with the model of weapons in this back in the secondary is wide receiver corps here.
Hey, thanks for coming up. Appreciate that.
So, you know, don't don't overhype on Eric Ebron.
If anything, he definitely went up.
Obviously going from your team.
But, um, don't over hope that he's gonna have that success.
So next one, another three days in the big one Emmanuel Sanders goes into one means something they've been missing for the last couple of seasons.
Now is an actual wide receiver to on the team.
Ted Ginn and trying out Trick want Smith have been trying to fill that role that I've been very unsuccessful night bringing Sanders here.
Couple different things.
Obviously, giving Drew Brees another weapon makes him even a greater assets this year.
He's definitely like the top seven.
A quarterback wanna draft and re drops this year because of the amount of talent he has around him.
I don't think he's in a brand people off or anything like that.
He's got the weapons succeeded beauty quarterback one this year for you, Uh, how it kind of affects the rest of the team.
I mean, I think Alvin Kamara Michael Tomsic gonna get there is the start of the team.
They're gonna continue to see targets and demand.
Obviously, you know, the 182 targets that Michael Thomas had this past season, you're not gonna expect that this year.
He's more in a range of 1 41 50 probably while Sanders kind of competing but buck because about Sanders that have 80 80 reception 80 Parkins this past season, so expects somewhere on that, expecting to have more biggest 700 yard season would like six touchdowns.
Very, uh, pretty decent crimes and solid wide receiver three that you can rely on pretty much most weeks.
Specially good matchups s o that definitely good. Bold.
Well, for him, I think it definitely affect Jared Cook, though the tight end Jared Cook was having a pretty good late season.
Stretch it and get one when he was a tight and four overs over the last half of the season, so he was really coming on strong.
But when he's older to, um and Sanders is a guy was gonna get targets in demand targets, is the better of here on team still and CO could have seen his 60 targets, jumped down four targets and ended up having a blessing media over season.
So guy who probably the top 12 of your rankings, maybe you have is a guy gonna get in the mid known around nine and 10.
I think you could hold off, keep him for a guy to go late with again.
Someone like a **** on who might not make a big impact.
Now you never know if they bring a rookie and either, but he definitely drops in my board.
I think he's up just about tight and 15 for me right now because even though I know he's taxing Degrees Sanders definitely demand Arvidsson.
I was Michael Thomas will be there to get the targets.
Well, so, uh, just no brakes a little bit on Jericho because he could end up having some kind of regression as well.
And then another big wide receiver, the wider T This firing said to go ahead.
And this is often this week.
Mostly now, at this point, guys had to get those old ones out of the way with their but Robbie Anderson going to Carolina.
It definitely does good for a guy like Jamison Crowder back in your, um, who is just should see a lot of targets if you're looking for a wide receiver, people these guys, Really.
Jimmy Carter is a fantastic player to grab.
If you know anything about Adam Gate System, I am a Dolphins fan, so I guess I know, um, but over out of bases career, especially in Miami and especially last year in New York being targets his offense around the slot player games, crowded rate season last year and expected have another great season.
You know, over the years you had you have seen with Jarvis Landry just dominate in Miami the last four seasons.
He was there prior to going to Cleveland, and that's kind of we're seeing here.
You saw Amendola two years ago, have a great season.
You saw Jamison Crowder last have a pretty good season, so he's someone I would love.
The target was Brown's head area and could be end up being a solid wires.
You were three for you guys with most of the season.
So keep in mind when you look in here to redraft please.
But back Robbie Anderson and Carolina here.
I think it's good for the team as a whole.
You know, you get another weapon on this team to compete, given 20 million over two years.
But for fantasy, I don't see is a great thing.
Obviously want Robbie and back to New York because he would see a majority of the targets.
He won't see that in Carolina de Gym.
Or is it wires people one on this team is going to continue to be Ah, guy goes to that next level.
I think his value is mostly safe unless we decide to go beat.
But I think the quarterback situation is perfect for him because obviously Teddy Bridgewater is there now.
And Teddy Bridgewater's more a shorter than mid range target guy than the people die.
Because last year with these with scenes he had, hey, Tammy thinks a joint.
I appreciate that.
Um, you know, last year, 898 cabs last year he had 15 of them is a deep all the time.
Not very, you know, a big amount of targets to go to a deep all even with Michael Thomas and tried again and try to consummate their deep ball.
Guys didn't really work there, so he's a moral value.
I think it's pretty safe even with Rami Anis and joining team here.
Curtis Samuel could be a guy falls a little bit just because maybe Anderson takes into his targets more than anything that needed more so he could see coming a regression.
But I believe this new offense of regime with Mette rule on dhe Joe Brady has named Rachel Berry.
Yes, I know they like to get their players kind of involved in all types of different ways.
Here and, uh, Kurt Salmon is a great guy.
Nice end around.
Plays a little short, picky passes.
They just haven't taken to the house.
Um, just look out for him as well, but his value definitely felt a little bit.
He's definitely more of that later.
Round guy down an early like route seven guys could take.
Um, but Robbie Anderson, Like I said, definitely guy, you're not taking in the 1st 7 rounds out.
He's definitely a later guy.
Maybe around 10 or plus, I would believe it this far.
I wouldn't match anyone thinking before that because his value as we know, he was a leapt up lead guy with New York Jets.
We barely did anything for the 1st 3 months and then in December turned it up.
Now you know what team with actually weapons around him.
I don't really see him getting that brush with weight.
The Bridgewater places quarterback.
I don't see him 30 people constantly.
Robbie Anderson So obvious.
It definitely is a huge hit by joining the during the Panthers.
But the office he got paid had no little the next two years each year, so good for him on that.
But fantasy enough best P.
Walker Just to say, this XFL guy goes to Carolina Good for him.
Had a great, uh, XFL season over there.
I had a at a versatile couple of times on XFL Fantasy League.
So, uh, great season for him, then Funchess a sign of the Packers.
Kind of a low in wide receiver who used to be on Carolina, uh, have a decent season or two there.
When the Colts kind of got injured, I our last year didn't really play.
Now get another opportunity for one year.
The $1,000,000 deal, those of the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
So this could be interesting scenario is a guy you won't want to take late dress just because they're really depends on if they draft wide receiver to, uh, he could be a guy who could see a you know, high.
We talk about this again last year.
High touchdown **** here have, like no 10 touchdowns, but only like 6 700 yards.
But and touch hands go a long way in fantasy football.
So he's a guy was a big, big, big body guy who know Rogers could target him in the red zone.
And, you know, you have a quarterback who, you know, you don't have candy more.
You don't have to go with her set.
You have Aaron Rodgers, one of the greatest quarterbacks have to play this game.
So, uh, he could be a sleeper, Um, a deep sleeper.
Released and redraft.
If you want to go with your later picks.
And CVS penned up because he has an opportunity to do so, um, the next up Tyler Eifert Jackson built This is an interesting one as well.
We finally saw Tyler Eifert survive 16 games after having injury prone seasons ever since his 2015 breakout year.
Now we go to fill a void in Jacksonville deaths for Levi's.
Right now, after having a rotation of tight ends last year, really thought Josh Oliver particular next step there.
Maybe he still does that.
However, it isn't somebody who's just gonna come in and really thank you.
Appreciate it, Sammy.
He's in a guy's just gonna come in and just automatically take a job.
You may have the job at first, but it's definitely gonna be a competition back there.
And I heard though he could provide some vanity value late, though, if he does when the starting job, be interesting to see who could stay healthy.
Something points of the season.
The title petition was used a little bit early on when they were more effective with more talent.
Was back there like James of Shauna.
Hey, uh, you know, Josh Oliver had some impact of one point when he was in there, but after that, didn't I? Too much talent, my deposition really do anything they're so intrigued to see if you can kind of get this position kind of the fantasy relevant policy sharp.
Those side would be Minnesota Vikings.
We don't know, You know, to charge a Sharp is he was a 30 year guy with Tennessee Now play three years there, had a pretty decent, uh, you know, a couple of games there late in the season with this whole Tennessee run that they had here never really panned out.
That's the guy we thought he was coming out as a rookie, but now we get another opportunity to have a chance here and at Minnesota and really will depend on, um if they draft a wide receiver, of course.
But right now, you know He's got a competition with Toby's Johnson working from last year's Minnesota head, and we'll see if you could kind of win the starting job.
If he does, you know, he could be somewhat fantasy relevant.
Another guy could take late your drafts if he kind of pans out.
It actually takes over Number two job things.
I used to feel that.
So just keep your eye on him.
Uh, beyond the beyond Louis side of the G men.
Kind of a deeply p p r guy could feel indecent.
Void and steak on where to get hurt.
Hopefully doesn't, but could be a guy fills a void.
They're not much to say about the Louis.
Um Shark Perriman.
Uh, this is the guy Probably people have their eyes on coming this year. Season.
Um, you know, he was a electric the last five games this season.
Had 80 yards in the last five games.
Probably was the wide receiver two or three at the end of the year.
Probably helping hope helped you win championships for your Battisti leads, But I pump the brakes just a tad again.
He was a guy was fantastic, but, um, again It's an Adam Gator.
An offense I can explain. What? Adam.
These cuts the rough like someone at the slot over the last couple of seasons now, especially in Miami, when he's been the head coach.
Um, they've never had a guy really be a more than 900 yards.
Kenny Stills, three seasons, 34 seasons ago was 800 yards and six touchdowns.
That's what you're gonna expect from a shock pyramid.
Don't expect him to be a top six, the top six round play.
You gotta pump your brakes a little bit on that because he's not gonna be a guy.
I don't think in this offense, especially with Adam Gates runs that he's gonna be a guy who could see 1300 yards in 10 touchdowns.
I don't expect it to happen.
Repairman. I don't see that in that kind of offense.
I took him to draft a wide receiver.
Chris turned, and hopefully we'll be back.
They have pyramid.
They have since he knew what.
Um, don't expect women to be a guy who just jumps in and Visa a deep, A good sleeper who kind of breaks out this season.
Don't like that.
That happened, said them of a decent season but don't have a 1300 yards of prime season guys.
Two more, Um, builder set signed with Seattle.
Could be interesting.
He was second on ***** receiving yards last year with New England.
Never really looked at the for the first round.
Hype. Had makeup, came out with folds.
Um, he could be someone, you know, definitely gonna bring whole competitions.
That third wide receiver that they're desperately looking for.
It seems like under set is a guy was a speedster.
Know? Has been a veteran asleep for a while.
About he could be a guy who, no, see some kind of like a Bible.
Fill it, fill it for you guys.
If you're looking for that, No, obviously we'll talk about that.
One season covers, but he's a guy.
I could see a couple of these and games and great matchups to be acting someone worthy of starting from time to time.
But, um, definitely isn't a guy your draft early on.
Maybe you got you pick up that season.
But again, when hopefully season comes, we'll talk about illiteracy a little bit more on the last not least this is the last one in that guy's painting Barber signed with Washington.
I don't understand.
It never will understand what Washington is doing.
I guess they have so many injury prone running backs.
Why as well grab as many as you can.
Being Barbara as Eliza's AP various guys Price love thing is J. B. McKissick.
They have so many running backs now, at this point is it's building.
To think about it twice.
To stay away from Washington's backfield is just a mess.
Unless your dynasty, I guess, keep guys and Bryce love.
But everyone else is just something for redraft guys you don't want to be a part of.
You can't so keep them off your mind.
So But that is the end of my episode tonight, guys.
Thank you for listening.
Um, I'll be back on during next week to talk over some rookies.
So if you're excited about your rookie draft coming fishing dynasty guys on girls, um, they're gonna be coming up soon.
Hopefully go break this down for you guys kind of help you guys nit pick who you really want to go grab.
We'll know more after the draft.
But try and give you guys the early slots spotlight on their talent, what they've been able to do and what they bring to the NFL.
So thank you all for listening.
Enjoy your Friday nights.
Please stay healthy and safe out there.
And so next time goes
