dear Pats Nation.
What's going on? It's your point, Ray.
In Welcome to my little show here called DPMNE Sports talk.
I hope that everybody is doing great here on this Thursday, March 26.
Had a look at the date because I've been in quarantine now for four days and I'm losing track of time.
We are going to be going here tonight.
I have invited an enemy, an enemy of the Pats Nation States.
I know that when I was talking with the inner circle today, they were a little iffy about it.
They weren't worried about him.
They were worried about all the bills Mafia attacking the chat fascination.
And please don't just say six rings.
Ladies and gentlemen, you've got two piles on going out tonight from hashtag boy.
Let's please introduce Marry.
Oh, welcome to the show.
It's You know what? Let me.
First of all, let me just let me just go right into it right now, okay? Right to Pizano is going at it.
Uh, do we do we cheer for two different teams? Yes, I'm not gonna say rivals, because you know what? When you're 32 3 against us over the past 20 years.
It's not really a rivalry.
So that's two number three.
I know you guys watch Ray's videos, everything.
I saw the video today.
Uh, Ray, I gotta tell you, man, what you're doing with your go fund me page and what you're gonna be doing for the kids.
And I gotta tell you right now, as a kid that you know, sports help me get out of some bad times and this and that I got to say, my hat's off to you, man.
That is an awesome thing that you're doing for for all the you know, kids registering for sports.
Go fund me, Page, Do your fascination.
Please get on that.
So when you know when it's all said and done, we're past this tragedy that's going on around the world and around the nation Thes Pete's gonna have someplace to go in someplace to play.
So please get on that right now.
I appreciate that, man.
Yeah, it's Ah, it's Ah, it's a cause for me.
It's something that ah, you know, it's sports.
You what? I mean, it's it's I could It could have been, Ah, disastrous time for me growing up and my parents with your time's man when we couldn't afford sports.
And I know what it's like to sit at home and not be able to participate.
And there's kids who have been used to be able to participate whose parents aren't gonna be place.
I appreciate the plug.
Thank you Passed nation.
The most intelligent thing I ever heard of.
Bills fans say phenomenal.
So let me start before we get into this.
How are you? How's the family? Is everybody safe Warren from a good family safe? You know, it's funny because I run the show with my buddy Paul and he, uh, he recently had a son, so he was quarantined even before of when I was had to be quarantined.
So he's already been good.
You've been taking necessary precautions.
I mean, my family been doing the same.
You're trying to help out as much as we can with everyone else.
But it's a scary thing that's going around, and I know people will.
This is ah SportsCastr.
You are the unofficial ambassador to SportsCastr.
I will definitely say that not having a lot of these things to talk about.
You know, you start to filter through a lot of the guys that talk about sports and no are in the know of the game.
So it's really good to get on here and actually go back and forth.
Or somebody that's in the No, I appreciate that, man.
Yeah, it's because so So we had gone.
Mario would come on one of my streams once as a as a viewer and was talking crap to the fair, to the viewers on there, and I was laughing.
And then we messaged each other, but we finally got on a stream together.
It was the Jets guy.
It hurt me deep inside, but it was a just die.
We went enjoyed.
And the reason that we had to come together today was him.
And I were having what I think was a lively debate.
But a civil debate.
It was any nudity us.
He muted, asking his corner.
And I don't think that's allowed back.
Or until I said goodbye.
Thanks for having you.
And then I read this.
If they listen to two Jets, guys talk about the Jets back and forth the next 20 minutes.
So I think you message me immediately and said, We've got to get on and do something together So there's no mute buttons here on SportsCastrs.
So we're going to go on that rock and roll.
All right, let me throw a tough one at you right away.
Okay? So I think it's important that you probably think it is a Bills fan, but you gotta know the A F c East.
If you're going to be a fan of any team, you got to know the A F C East.
You gotta know what's around you.
But in Buffalo right now, what are the expectations on this team now? Oh my God, it's It's been Christmas, July 4th, New Year's Eve, ST Patrick's Day.
It's everything else that you can imagine in Buffalo.
The feeling was going on because you've been in the doldrums for so many years.
You had to live through the drought, you know, lived through all this other stuff and the biggest thing.
And maybe you'll probably agree it will bring back the past.
Is the past nation, as far as this goes, is that everyone's like, Oh my God, the divisions wide open now the Brady's out of the division and for me personally, watching Brady and watching how his performance the last two years has been against the Buffalo Bills, albeit in winning causes.
Um, he didn't look his goat self is What I'm trying to say is that he didn't look himself in those in those matchups.
But I gotta tell you right now, if it's all those holidays on one right now in Buffalo and I'm just trying to Paul's trying to we're trying to bring people down the earth with some of these things.
Like, Listen, you still gotta win the East.
I mean, and you know, Emperor Palpatine is they're doing when you still there, he could figure out ways to get it done, so I'm still worried about him.
Okay, Well, actually, that's gonna bring me to another question, because it was one of gonna ask you later on, but okay, it's actually a two part of started the 1st 1 as a Bills fan, because I It's funny, cause I saw a lot of the reaction of New England Patriot fans, and then the only reaction I saw from other fan bases towards this was just laughing and making fun of us.
And, you know, the Jordan crime means and that kind of thing.
But as a Bills fan for real, though, like, what was your reaction to Brady leaving the F C East leaving the FC, leaving the Patriots that have, you know, as if tormented you for the last 10 years? You know, he did torment me, But the problem with me is that I, um I I Look, I look at the game a little bit differently than the fair weather fans.
A lot of people that are in the Bills, my first of all, I've never jumped through a table.
I've never put anyone through a table.
I think it's the dumbest thing ever in Bill's Mafia and some of the acts that go on during the tailgates.
I just walked by and shake my head.
I mean, I'm a father now.
I can't be doing that stuff.
I don't even think I wouldn't did this stuff in my twenties.
But that being said, Brady didn't worry me as much as Bella checked it, and Belichick was always for me, the straw that stirs the drink, and who else worried me Gronk worried me you had out of line in there.
You had these defensive players that, um, as Belichick would say all the time, do your job.
If you do your job, we're gonna get there, We're gonna get the wind.
And there were so many games that were held low because the defense was able to do their job for the Patriots.
That's the thing I'm still terrified of, Even with the losses that the Patriots have had in this offseason, Brady to me at 42 43 whatever he's gonna be next year.
I felt that it had run its course, even though he did have a couple Super Bowls in that run, I felt that he wasn't really at the level that he was at when he was.
I mean, 07 to 2011.
I mean, those of the years that he was actually on and on fire.
But those those later years 14 16 whenever they want it, I don't even know I can't count the rings.
But the thing that gets me too, and I just part for one second I'm known ranting.
It's the It's the New England Patriot fans that grew up in western New York that are in their mid twenties that get me? Because those are the ones that have never known losing.
And you know what? That's what they're gonna end up doing.
They're gonna have going.
Who? We got six rings.
I'm like you're from Williamsville.
You don't have six rings.
Grew up 20 minutes in the stadium.
What are you doing? So those are the ones that get me all riled up.
You have a lot of before I get because you kind of answered my second question.
So before I get to that, you have a lot of Patriot fans in Buffalo.
There are a ton of Patriot pants in Buffalo and they come to the game.
They get, they get brutalized.
I mean, I'm not going to say that the Bills Mafia doesn't take their fair share at shots at some old rich, very aware, very aware, you know, it, Z, it's some of those things.
I mean, the way the Brady's story is actually a very great story.
Where the guy was 199.
No one believed in him.
He's making it rise.
You won three Super Bowls in four years and then he ended up having injury came back from the injury that someone said If you cut his career in half from his injury, pre injury and post injury, he had two Hall of Fame careers.
The guy's destined for all of fame.
I may have some debate about him being a goat, but the people as that to reside in western New York and it's it's kind of trouble troublesome sometimes, you know, well, it was really nice of you to say nice things about Brady because I was looking at a tweet that you sent 21 hours ago that said, I hate Tom Brady.
I'm a huge fan of Bruce Arians, that is all.
And that one made me chuckle.
Way got to people that run the that was, you know it was me.
But I'm just like, you know, there were two people running.
Can I? So you're telling me the nice, sophisticated ones is the other guy, and then those ones who used what you're telling me you have any crazy stuff? But I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge what the guy did, you know? I mean, he's one of the most accomplished quarterback in NFL history.
I'm not gonna be aloof and like the typical Bills fan that suggests a pretty also stuff.
I'm not that guy, I will acknowledge.
But I will say because of what you said earlier.
He's tormented the Bills for years.
That's why I don't like it.
But I do love Bruce Areas as a coach, which I can't.
I'm Tauron down in Tampa Bay now.
I don't know, and I'm sure you've had your fair share of reaction with Tom Brady.
And, you know, dear Pats Nation, what is the reaction that you've gotten from everybody? Well, it's a mixed reaction.
Um, so before I give you the reaction, I got to clarify you in a couple of things.
2018 wasn't a great season for Brady, 2019 was was bad, and I think there was also some offensive line issues and the fact that his receivers couldn't get separation.
But I said it all last year.
Anybody who watches me knows that.
I said Brady has taken a step back.
I think he's still a guy.
If you put weapons like he has down in Tampa, he's gonna look phenomenal, you know, you can't put Blake Bortles in that situation.
He's not gonna look phenomenal.
He's gonna look good.
He's not gonna look phenomenal.
Brady's gonna go down there.
Looks like he's still that good.
He's not the guy that could elevate a team of nobody's anymore.
See the stuff being taken backwards? Um, he won the M v P in 2017 though.
Let's not forget that, right? He was the league MVP in 2017 after the Falcon Super Bowl after the Seahawk super.
Also, he looks still pretty solid.
After 2017 the loss of the Eagles, You saw a bit of that decline.
UH, 500 air performance after a 500 yard performance and losing effort in the Super Bowl.
We went on and won the next 1 13 to 3 right two powerhouse offenses to score 16 points total.
Yeah, total dress.
Just an absolute masterful job. And that's funny.
So it's been a split.
Um, there are now Buccaneer fans used to wear Patriots gear.
I was gonna ask you one of the questions that I had sponging off of this spinning off of that was the fact that if the Patriots make the playoffs this year, and the Bucks don't does it tarnish his legacy? And I've gotten a lot of mixed reaction from people that will try to answer that question.
They've said, Well, no, he's in his forties, and other people like know what he's accomplished has been amazing.
But the question always remains.
Which be, Was it was it about the Checker with Brady? Yeah, so as I'll tell you what I want because I'm hesitant Thio to answer that in truth, because I your viewers leave, you know that you just walk away from you, but, um, no, but I've always been a big believer.
When people ask me who's around Mount Rushmore, it's always Robert Kraft first because that Robert Kraft neither of those two guys exist in New England. You what I mean.
And then it's Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and I can go in either order without Bill Ballot Shack.
You don't have Tom Brady without Tom Brady.
You don't have what Bill Belichick was able to do.
Um, you know, I compared to the Kansas City Chiefs, they're gonna have the best quarterback in the NFL for the next 15 years.
But he's gonna make $40 million a year.
Tom Brady on Lee made $20 million once in his career, and that was this season.
Besides that, he did and never got paid $20 million.
And that was maxing out after incentives.
Yeah, yeah, I mean, so there's ways to play you.
How do you going to tell me how you go into a season with a defense that has a high tower Vanoy Jamie Collins, Landon Roberts, Devin McCourty, Stefan Gilmore? You know, I mean, like, you have to You have to pay guys right? And guys have to get paid.
And I mean, look, we just We just outbid Buffalo for Gilmore, right? We just and put the poison pill at the end.
Yeah, and I know that I know that Bills fans were always if Young Gilmore and I saw all the clips after he signed with the Patriots of him being beat deep.
Right? And But you know one thing that I think that bell checks of geniuses, he knows how to put a look.
There's a famous tweet out there that Patriot fans love to throw back in my face from time to time.
guys a screen shot of this 2017 season.
Week four were playing the Carolina Panthers and had been a rough start.
And we're one and two or two and one.
This is not gonna make it three and one or two into.
We lost to the friggin them a Detroit Lions the week before you.
What? I mean, like it was.
It was a rough start. We lost.
We lost to the Jags.
It was brutal, brutal start and ah, we sat Cam Newton on third down.
Brady's gonna get the ball back a minute and 1/2 left in the game, and for the second time in that game, there's a piece of laundry on the floor. It's the fun.
Gilmore got nailed with the hands of the face penalty.
He had been playing brutal his 1st 4 games, and I put out a tweet.
This guy is a waste of money.
It's time to cut this Gilmore bomb and get him off the team.
I admit I'm emotional drink game, so I tweet things that I probably don't mean an hour later.
But when I'm in the midst of it, your baby, so when they won the Super Bowl last year, and he made the interception and stuff by.
People were sending me that sweet when he was defensive player of the year this year.
People said to me that way and I own it, I own it I talked about it all the time.
I completely own it.
My thing is, those Bill Belichick looked at that and said, Okay, I got to get this guy out of his own defense, you know? I mean, I gotta get I got to get him out of AA and he plays better.
He's a better pressure man.
He doesn't If you don't give space, don't give this play press defense and get him up, and that's what he's at his best, right? You get a lease physical, and Belichick puts people in the right position to be better.
And I think that Josh McDaniels, an offensive coordinator, does the same thing.
Because as much as Brady elevates people, we saw the Bill O'Brien era without Josh McDaniels, you know, I mean, it kind of went Charlie Weis, Josh McDaniels, Bill O'Brien, Josh McDaniels and everybody talked about whenever he talks about.
You know, the offense was radical.
Look who the OSI was, you know, I mean, it was Bill O'Brien.
We had Charlie Weis and Josh McDaniels or two guys that could put their offense in good positions.
You know that? That first Super Bowl against the Rams, that final drives? Yeah, that's on Brady having balls of steel and making you gotta make the place at the end of the day.
At the end of the day, the players gotta make the place.
You have great coaching staff.
If Josh Allen throws the ball 20 yards over somebody's head, you and I mean it doesn't matter what play you got a guy wide open.
You mean it doesn't matter what time this year? Yes, attended.
The players have to execute.
But Charlie Weiss, the calls on those plays were genius.
You mean I mean the balls he showed and what he did to get them into range.
Then you got an advantage, Terry, who is probably the you know who is the best kicker it ever.
You know, that means ever kick in the game, even after even after he left the Patriots was phenomenal with the Colts.
And you set that up.
So I always say, you can't have one without the other.
And I mean and then my fourth guy on my around my Mount Rushmore.
Which people? Because, you know, we younger people will say Gronkowski addle men.
I mean, um, guys my age will stay Moss, right? The old The yogis will talk about John, Hannah and Stanley.
For me, though, the fourth guy mind my around much more is Drew Bledsoe like he took the Patriots.
I always say that he he took the page.
It's out of the dark era 93 93 brought brought them to a Super Bowl.
They lost but brought him to a Super Bowl.
And then Brady kind of finished the job.
That's the way I kind of say you I mean, um, could could they have won a Super Bowl? Withdrew.
I always say they could have, you know, I mean, they probably want 16 because you want to play long enough, you know? I mean, you know, I think he probably could add, I don't need to jump in on here, but the Italian part me is just itching to say something, because it was what I was always a fan of quarterbacks Throughout my my career.
Montana was the crime Democrat.
I used to watch him.
Then when he retired, I need to know the quarterback and then blood.
So came into the league around that same time.
So I'm sitting there going man, this guy, strong armed quarterback.
He is a very unique release and everything.
Yep, the thing about blood.
So that hurt him over.
Brady is for the point that you made earlier is that the fact is, Brady made 20 million for the first time this past season.
He always knew that he needed the team around him to be top notch, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
That's why he was never given the top contract in the NFL.
So he's like, Listen up, you give it to these guys, give me some help around me so we can keep going back, going back, making the playoffs, going 12 and 4 11 5 whatever.
They're going to dio to go back.
Bledsoe just signed, like, a huge deal for, like, 10 years or something like that.
At that point when Brady got drafted, so all the checks, sitting there looking.
He's like, Okay, all right.
If they're anywhere close to being even, I have to I have to do this because Brady's gonna be affordable.
I gotta get Bledsoe outta here.
So I get to three, maybe even four playmakers for the money.
I'm giving blood.
So But in his time there and I looked like so, like, he was awesome.
And I mean, I mean, Balletic won two Super Bowls with Brady on a rookie contract.
You what? I mean, like that.
But you know what? But I but I love that you bring that up because you said special in the defense.
Like I see it all the time.
One of the famous things in Pats Nation, Um, for the last you know, since since I've done this and, you know, get all the comments and questions and stuff.
But especially on YouTube, where I call it the cess pool of fans.
Right? Um, it's, um it's Bella. Check is cheap.
That's what that's always a thing, right? Like he screws Brady.
Ballot check is cheaper than once when my they ignore the fact that we have $7 million in cop space left you ready? 1001 of the cops.
But fella, check that the only star balletic ever had was Tom Brady.
That's what they hear, because And this is what I mean.
And I'll tell you what, man, I'll be honest with you.
And I see this all the time.
One of the reasons I love SportsCastr and I got behind it.
And this isn't me plugging it could get paid for it.
Like this is literally me.
Why I This was my pitch to Nick.
And it was a true pitch.
And you could hear the passion in me.
The people who watch man here, You can tell her actual sports fans they're not casuals or not.
Bandwagon is gonna be like they know they're there ish, right? Yes, if you like.
They're at a star.
I'm like we have the defensive player of the year on the team right now.
You mean we've had Vince Will Fork, right? Who's probably gonna be a Hall of Fame defensive lineman? We've had Teddy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, Ty law, Like we've had superstars on your Lawyer Milloy.
You know what I like? Yeah, the MK Ortiz, and I mean, you know, So I hate I mean, you know, High Tower will probably never be a Hall of Famer, but that guy is Mr February, the place he's may I always say, If Hightower doesn't strip sack Matt Ryan, there's no comeback against Atlanta, you know? I mean, if he doesn't beat up on Jared Goff the whole game, maybe they score a couple touchdowns and the Patriots can't mean do enough to beat them on.
I'm like, So I If you go all the way back to the Malcolm Butler interception.
If High Tower doesn't make a phenomenal tackle on Marshawn Lynch the plate before where he bench presses his player off of him in tackles in the yard short, there's never an interception opportunity, you know what I mean? So Hightower has been involved in three major plays with three major scenarios and every Super Bowl they get.
So we have superstars.
They just they're not Stefan Diggs, which we'll get to in a minute.
You mean they're not and and, you know, yeah.
Oh, well, you know, we haven't had anybody since Raby Moss will note not a lot of people have had anybody since Randy Marsh.
Randy Moss is a Hall of Fame receiver for a reason, and we had.
And let's not forget we had Rob Gronkowski his entire career.
We had until the, you know, murdered people.
We had Aaron Hernandez, who was phenomenal but who probably would have been a Hall of Famer or close to it.
You what? I mean, like, we had superstars on the team.
Aaron Hernandez was one of most athletic players.
I think the Patriots ever had what he was able to do.
They lined them up every day, let him have it running back. They lined them up.
It's in the slot.
Yeah, it was It was completely unfair when him and ran around the field cheese again.
That's why when I look at Patriot fans, I'm like, Okay, Either you became a fan yesterday or you don't actually understand the game, and you only understand offense like you don't understand that we've had.
If you look at all our Super Bowls, we've had the top defense is in the league every Super Bowl, you know? I mean, I think it's up for one.
They were they were a little lower, but defense win Super Bowls.
And that's why staff in you want to talk about.
We can talk about Josh Allen.
We can talk about stuff and digs.
We can talk about all these kind of guys, your defense and Buffalo scares the hell out of me.
I'm a defense guy.
I love defense, and I believe the defense wins championships.
And I told everybody last year I said, I don't know You lost, Um, What's the tackle there to Miami? You mean? But you guys got a solid? You got probably probably a top four secondary.
You what? I mean, I could even argue a top three.
I still think you England's gonna have the best secondary this year, but it it could be argumentative, you know? I mean, Buffalo's right up there.
And you know that scares me more than Stefan digs.
I'll tell the honest to God truth because he's gonna score points.
He's going to score enough in your defense is not gonna let people score well, the thing that's the ultimate cross over, and I want to get to the defensive side real quick.
Um, it's weird to see the guys that have left the Patriots supposedly in their prime.
And then they don't do much when they leave the Patriots.
That's the one thing why I've always touted Belichick, other than the fact that he's a genius.
But let's just put it this way.
Before he was even with the Patriots, his game plan in Super Bowl 25 when he was with the Giants that beat the Bills when they were this high powered offense, his defense was designed.
He said, Listen for us to win this game Thurman Thomas has to have 100 yards rushing and like a tea, and Banks are looking at each other.
They're going, What is he talking about? If they have the ball as much as we do, we're gonna get killed.
We're just We're just remember that.
So his game plan for several 25 is already in the hall before him.
All right, that's it. That's one.
The fact this guy's won't guys don't seem to perform at the level they perform is when they're with Belichick because they go chasing for money instead of rinks.
That's the that's the problem.
The reason why I think a lot of Bills fans were sour on Gilmore's because bills were always changing regimes during the drought.
So, you know, there are guys that were coming in playing zone, guys coming in, playing man.
You know what? In one of the guys that was there, it was Jim Schwartz, he type of defensive coordinator who is off the bell.
He's like, Listen, I want to play for our defensive lineman.
I wanna play seven coverage.
I want a punch in the face.
That's what I want to do.
And Gilmore, that wasn't his style.
You know, he ended up going out of town, because when you shift regime so much, the philosophy of the defense and the offense always change.
So that's what happened with Gilmore in the transition.
Plus, the Bills couldn't really afford him the bill.
Really? Honestly, they really could not afford him.
So the Patriots will ended up sticking a tomb and that, And you know what? You get a defensive player year, which I mean we could talk about.
We could talk about that for a little bit.
You want to talk a little bit of Trey White on this broadcast, We could Sprinkle in a little takeaway tray.
You know, I like a weight.
He wasn't defensive player of the Year, but I like Trey White.
I think anywhere because he wasn't voted defensive player of the year.
This mean he wasn't then one of most impactful corners on his team.
I'll also be Look, I'll be I'll be honest with you that I'm a little biased towards Trey White.
I don't I don't like him.
I also watched him get bullied by our rookie McKeel Harry in that game and watch him whining in the, uh, in the end zone.
See what I mean? But it's okay.
Well, he took a forearm from Gronk, and I'm not thinking about that one.
Okay, Can I talk about that for a second? Because you helped.
You didn't know me then.
You know, that Almost ended my whole career.
That elbow drop.
What happened? Talks about.
I came out after that.
I was so ****ed.
I knew we didn't have him for Miami.
And I was so ****ed and and Gronk was always like the He wasn't really like a patriot.
You mean when you think if you like Tom Brady's interview this week, you can tell He's still a patriot, you know.
What would it? What would have taken to stay in New England? You know what? I'm just focusing on my new team, not the past.
They're great people over there.
I learned a lot, but that's a Patriots.
Answer it where Gronk was like, you know, he talked a lot and mutual CS? Yeah, he was from Buffalo.
Come on, you want our love it from Buffalo.
But when he dropped the people's elbow, that's what I always call it.
Right when he dropped people about both on his head, I came out and did a video that that night, I think and I said, It's a time to trade Rob Gronkowski Oh, and I never to this day it's my record.
Dislikes my It's my record.
Comments like it's my record.
People were like either guy who was working for me at the time.
That told me off in the comments, like I had to go to work and look him in the eye.
And I was like, What was up with that man was like, that was really, really harsh, like that was on your boss.
You like I'm your manager like that was Really You got to check yourself, man.
This is football.
You got to realize who you're saying.
That to me is like a story.
I'm just so mad at you.
And I was like and I remember like, Trey White came out.
Our wasn't trade with somebody else.
It was a news guy.
But I guess trade tax them and said people in the neighborhood want to get their hands on Gronk or some sun along those lines.
And, uh however just pats Nation was just flipping.
And I was like, What would you have done if some if a bill would have dropped their their elbow on Brady's head or drop their elbow on drawings head right like we would have the foul? And if you would only got one game for that If Trey Way would have done that to Gronk and only got one game for that, we have been like Roger Goodell is screwing the Patriots again.
And, you know, Roger the clown and Bob like it would have been an outreach.
And I'm always something you can look at both sides of it, you know? I mean, um, I'm not a big trade white fan.
I I know you guys all loving and buffalo.
I think he he when we were playing and I saw on a kill Harry bullying him in the end zone in him, whining at the rafts, you and Amy and getting all frustrated to kill Harry.
I'm like, brought, you're getting You're getting bullied by a rookie.
You mean like like you're supposed to be a candidate? I remember at that time that was the conversation, because he could have been a candidate for defensive player of the Year.
And I'm like you're being bullied by rookie.
You don't mean you gotta put him on his ass.
You take a penalty in that moment, you take it. 15 yarder.
You put him on that £40 on him.
Harry Zimm piece, dude.
Very, very still a kid.
It's just man strength.
I'll pull back the curtain a little bit about buffalo.
Just let the deer pass.
Nation know is that it's a very small city.
I mean, compared to cities, it's a small market town.
So what would the buffalo was Buffalo really happy of the bills with sabers? That's basically what they have.
If you as a player even reach out.
I mean, a lot of these guys do charitable work, and they are revered in this town.
Because of that, Trey has reached out multiple times to the community, the work that he's done.
So that interest just endears him to everybody in Buffalo, especially the fans.
That that's why it's such there was such a huge thing at the time is that Oh my God, Gronk and what do you do? It, you know, And everyone was like up in arms about what happened.
But, like that's just pulling back the curtain A little bit on Buffalo is that if you do some charitable work, if you want to do this, you want to do that and you see you make yourself known in the community.
It's a very family oriented community.
Not to sit in any other city isn't about being a small as it is.
It's it's it amplifies it so much more so that's why it's so huge when somebody does something.
That's why the whole Andy Dalton thing.
You guys remember that? Yep, they're all chaotic mess.
I mean, they sent him thousands and thousands of dollars when you threw that pass to Tyler boarding the The Bills made the playoffs mean everything.
Tyrod Taylor's charity.
I'm crazy that year.
So that's that's just gives you a little, you know, look at the pulse of the Buffalo Bills, but, um oh, no.
What Gronk did to Trey White was unbelievable.
It was It was stupid that I was so happy when ballot check told was McDermott the coach at that time? Yeah, he was right. 17.
And you know, he says, you know, that's bull ass, right? Like, you know, I mean, like, that was That was it? It was Bullet was bull.
And that was what I saw out of my video.
Like we would be out because in the a f C Championship game, Grant took a headshot on what looked to me like it was a look like it wasn't it was unintentional.
You what I mean And people were snapping.
And I'm like, four weeks ago or five weeks ago, the guy dropped an elbow on someone's had in game again, was bit his tongue off game a concussion, and you guys were defending them.
And now he takes a football hit where the hell, It wasn't a crown shot.
It was just, you know, the guy hit him from the side and you accidentally hit him in the head.
And, yeah, I looked bad, But you could tell it wasn't an intended.
He wasn't had. He wasn't targeting.
Right? Know what? Oh, my God.
Patriot fans went ballistic.
They couldn't believe it.
And I had people writing to me, going like I'm worried about Ah, the c e t and their c t e.
And you know, when these guys take these headshots and I'm like grog put is just £300 into a guy's head because he was being held and you sat here in, roasted me and crucified me.
I lost, like, 40 subscribers after that video, that's you know, and that was at the time.
But I'd like 1100 subscribers, So 40 was a hit.
You mean like, 40 was like, Oh, my God.
And I'm just like so it always confuses me.
So I actually let me ask you so I know.
How is Gronk received them? Buffalo outside of being in the Patriots uniform, being a hometown guy, You're Damian Lake? Um I don't know.
I don't know the guy personally.
I just know about things that I hear.
And when you're in Buffalo, if you're from Buffalo, your family, that sound, that's bottom line.
I mean, that will trump.
That will trump the team any time.
From my perspective of what I've seen.
If you're from this area and you go play for this, you go play for that. Whatever.
There are people that were mean.
Daryl Johnston went to my high school.
So when when the Bells played the Cowboys in the Super Bowl twice in road, Darryl Johnson was starting fullback for the Dallas Cowboys.
There were people that were split in my town about that, Really, There were people that were a I've been a Buffalo Bills fan for 20 years, but I'm cheering for Darryl because I used to baby sit him.
You know, I mean, like that.
So it's It's weird to see how that go that, but the But the family will always trump Ah, lot of times what happens on the field on Sundays.
But yeah, you mean Gronk's always gonna be received? But he is.
Sandy's gotta use named Buffalo.
I mean, even before he was with the Patriots.
I mean, everyone knew who the Gronkowski's were, so it's funny to see that how that manifested it was more of the reaction When he did what he did to trade white.
It was more like, Okay, Grok, what are you doing? This is a Bills player.
Like what is going on? Yeah, it's funny because you look at Gronk and he seems like a guy who would throw himself through a table is Well, you know, me, like, doesn't even, like, probably have Gronkowski have to be those guys.
When did the table things start? When did that become like that around the taipan timers This before I think it was.
It was well before I think people were always putting people through tables at the Take it.
I got to tell you right now, you know, as you know, a Bills fan.
I've been to many Bills games.
The tailgates are something to be reckoned.
If you want as it one time, you don't have to put Bill's Garvan if you're a Patriots fan and you're so curious about what goes on in a Buffalo Bills tailgate, just just goto one home game, just one take a trip.
It's like pretend it's Disneyland for once.
Hey, honey, I'm going up to Buffalo for the weekend.
I'll be back on Monday.
Everything will be all right.
It is a train wreck when you go into the end.
But there is alcohol among alcohol everywhere. There's food.
There's wings that everything that you can up.
Oh, unbelievably imagine there.
But like some of the when it gets close to game time, like people will be there before the sun comes up and telecommuting.
And that's what happens.
And you got all these lots, all these private parking lots and also their stuff.
And then people will go, Uh, usually when it gets around 11.
30 12 o'clock closer.
Kickoff is when people start.
They ran out of all their beer.
They eat all their food.
And you know what? Hey, we got a table here. Yeah, let's go.
I don't get that at all. I just walk around.
I'm like, you know, I'm here.
Watched the game.
I don't know about you guys, but, you know, kudos to you for jumping through a table.
You're gonna feel it tomorrow morning.
Well, what? I'd never understand either is I see them going through the wood tables, and I get that.
You what? I mean, I'm like, Okay? Like, it's wood.
It's the plastic tables.
It always blow my mind.
Right? Like, what did you think was gonna happen? You knew that thing was gonna break.
You knew that was his guys.
Hey, where it waas? They've bounced like reinforced steel.
And you just found out.
I'm like, Like what I get You go through the wood table, take wrestling.
That's great. It's entertainment.
You know, it's a little bit of a cushion on a break.
That's gonna hurt, but good for you.
Is there any kind of unique tailgating experience at Foxboro? Well, sir, you don't know this about me.
I do not know this, but I live in Buffalo Bill's country. Kinda.
I'm from Toronto, man.
I think you did mention that challenge you're on.
I'm just up the road from you.
So it's funny because I've been to I've been to a bill tailgate, right? Okay.
And I've been to a Buffalo Sabres game, and, um, Buffalo Sabres fans are very different bills fans.
It's at least in my experience and I was there with my wife.
Both of us were in Montreal.
Canadian jerseys Hold on in the game.
Notices it in a game where both Montreal was in first.
And I think Buffalo was fighting for a playoff spot.
Sabres headed to nothing lead with a minute and 1/2 left in the game.
Koivu makes it to one.
Kovalev ties it to two, and then Kovalev scores the winner and wins in overtime.
Keep the people around me.
I mean, everything's good.
I walk out. Everything's good.
No one's, you know, you get a couple, Jennifer, you're gonna get that.
Anywhere you go.
You get that in Toronto to write.
But everything's good.
I walk by a bills tailgates with anything remotely in a patriot colors, and I get words thrown at me that I'd even know existed.
Okay, Like I'm sitting there on that.
What is that? That urban dictionary.
What the hell does that mean? That's way I could explain.
It is if some of you kids you probably don't.
You probably remember this when the movie Titanic came out.
You ever They had the upper deck individuals and then they have over third and fourth deck individuals.
Well, you could tell the difference.
The upper deck with Sabres fans.
That's breaking up for you.
Just like if I go down the bison games all the time.
Oh, yeah, because that's our farm theme, right? And, uh, you know, maybe there's great, like it's, you know, I mean, like Bills fans are just different.
That's what I always tell me, like what you don't understand.
Like it's just it's an and I've met people who I can tell if I gave him a bill's jersey would change the way they are right now, right? I said, It's like when they're it's like it's like when the bill stuff goes on, it's like it's almost like crack you in the music.
The bill stuff is on.
It's like, all right, you know, it's like you said on this family of the Bison's game, like, Okay, guys, All right.
Oh, here's ah, you know, here's a Josh calendars.
You can you can.
You could walk into a Buffalo Bills, tailgate with a bill's jersey and walk up to any tailgate, and I guarantee you you'll be ended a drink and something to eat. I'm not even kidding.
They don't even know you.
But you like Hey, you wanna Kelly Jersey? That's pretty sweet.
I got Come on over here.
Oh, you gotta Bruce Nets.
What I've worked about Buffalo is especially if you're a Patriots fan.
It's all how you respond.
You gotta stand your ground.
Otherwise you're dead.
But you can't go too far or you have to fight you.
There's a fine line.
And I always noticed I can always kind of tell when the guys are just giving me ****.
Yeah, or all right, these guys got an actual issue with me because I have a brainy jersey.
Are you what? I mean, like So if they have an actual issue with my Brady jersey, I just keep I just keep walking.
Right? But if those guys that I can tell they're just giving it to me all turn around and states I'm back, respect leaks.
I don't want to turn into the problem.
You what I mean about it? No.
You know, you guys get a bad rap around league.
I think you're very passionate fan base.
I think that they take every video of every table slammer and this and that.
I mean, El Presidente Day from bar stools in love with buffalo since he went down to the tailgate.
You what? I mean, you guys won his heart over and, uh, because he had a lot of bad things that sable buffalo prior to that, you know? I mean, yeah, from outsiders. Respect.
Am I gonna understand that 100%.
But I can tell you starting real quick as we're stopping story.
I had a bet with Paul last year.
If you're not a fan of hashtag, exports are normal, are normal.
Thing on YouTube is what we do is we drive around in the car and we talked about the Buffalo Bills.
We got coffee, doughnuts, we do all that stuff.
So one of the bets that we had, we left it upto hash tag nation that we call all of our fans.
We said, listen, if you guys you guys can don't love the punishment because we can't come up with something, So I think it was if the Bills, we're gonna take a receiver in the first round last year and they end up taking that Oliver and they never traded pack up.
So Paul lost the bet while everyone in the drugs Well, then you got your froze there for a second.
What's with the loser of the If he lost, If you lost that, which he did, he had to Where? Tom Brady, Jersey and hugs.
While we couldn't secure the Uggs because secure the ox.
But he had to wear a Tom Brady usually, but we film our episodes driving in the car, so we go to it.
We go to a drive through.
I'm sitting there. I'm talking.
We got the camera up on the dashboard.
He's got his time Brady jersey on the lady hands, a man's brew, the coffee and the doughnuts.
And she kind of leans innings like does one of those.
And I just launched the shakes.
I had just what she's done, and I was like, Oh my God, this is beautiful.
I wanted him to walk through a mall like the next punishment I give him if we do that.
But it was like our fan base said, Listen, the worst thing you could do to somebody after losing a bet is to wear it.
Tom Brady, jersey in western New York like that just tells you the feeling about how that's why they like when we started the broadcast, he's out of the division.
Everyone's like it's Christmas, you know? So you know what I'd love to do.
Maybe I shouldn't say this out loud.
It should be a private conversation, but I'd love for you guys to film your show or, you know, drive around the car.
And just like periodically, I jump up in the back seat and dismiss something you say about the Patriots.
Well, there's There are many one liners that I've had about the Patriots that you can.
I mean, we talk about the pages quite a bit on our show is because we got brand able Here He runs the E P system, which was made famous by Tom Brady.
It's I always dumbed dubbed it a seven yard passing tree, which is why he was able to go from Welker, too.
Adamant, so great, he said Gronkowski, who I believe is the best tight end of all time.
I'm not talking about your 20.
Gonzalez is your 20 games.
You're Jason Witten's whatever it is, Mike, because if you're that old, But for me, Grant is the greatest tight end to ever play the position because you changed the position.
Um, we go through the Patriots quite a bit as far as what Tom Brady does.
What goes on in because Brian Table, You think now, when you look at Tom Brady and you look at Josh Alan, you don't think these guys have any crossover in their abilities except hopefully up here? That's what that's a lot of those fans are hoping for because Brian Day Bill runs a spinoff of what the Patriots ran, which is why you see a lot of these quick throws, all these quick passes.
But he can add the element of Ellen's legs in to kind of keep the defense at bay.
But that's why you're starting to see Alan hasn't really come as far along as like, say, Let's say Patrick Holmes is because you got Patrick Holmes.
That goes to Andy Reid, who is probably one of the greatest play callers of all time, and then you come over to Buffalo.
Briand Able is working with Josh on.
It's almost like square peg, you know, in a round hole out Lord a lot of time.
So you have Tom Brady, who was able to mass.
He mastered the Earnhardt Perkin system, Absolutely mastered it.
No deny that. Yep.
And I think that though that's always been my thing, and I think it comes down to a Bella check thing.
It's he makes sure whether it's coaching his coaches or whatever it is to make sure that guy's air in the right position that work for them.
Right and you can't throw.
And Josh Allen, to be honest with you, is starting to make me look stupid.
And he's starting to irritate me because I've pumped his kids tires for two years now.
You know what I mean? And I watch them fall apart in the playoffs, just fall apart like Come on.
He looked brilliant, and then he just fell apart.
My old man Ameer texting.
And he's like, Oh, yeah, Josh, Alan, I could hear the sarcasm in his voice as you still I could give you a good job.
Good life topping this kid's tires for two years.
My old man took him in fantasy because I've been pumping his tire so much, he killed him.
So I didn't tell you to take him to the fantasy guy.
This is a good music.
I said, I think he is, But I do.
And I nobody got What's this guy's name? The Jets guy.
I was forget his name.
Line on an old Ryan got really upset by this, But I have always believed that Alan was a better quarterback than Darnold.
That Donald was just a little bit more polished.
And once Alan got to that level, he was gonna outshine him.
Um, but he started make me look dumb.
So he needs to have a big year.
And I was gonna ask you, is there with now? Maybe you guys gave up a 1st 1/5 6 in a 2021 4th for ah, stuff and digs.
You got, um, yet Beasley. Right.
You guys got Cole Beasley? We got John Brown.
We have Dawson Knox.
We just re signed Isaiah McKenzie, who was our gadget like, jet sweet guy.
I think the thing about to find eggs and I know that that was one of your one of your topic.
We want to talk about to find a little bit.
Yeah, 1st 56 a 2021 4th at the time when they gave up the fourth round pick for next year.
We had already lost Shack Lawson and Jordan Phillips.
So we lost them.
We didn't sign anybody, so we were already do a conditional fourth round pick because of the players that we lost.
Okay, so it was like they were losing anything there.
The fifth round pick in the sixth round pick the one was the trade with the Cleveland, where we gave up Wyatt Teller, who was a backup guard.
Um, I was the fifth.
There's an extra 50 and we had three extra six round picks.
So essentially what? You and when you break the trade down, obviously those force air gone.
We're probably gonna get a conditional fifth round pick because of who we signed.
We lost, but that was standing.
You give up a first round pick.
The Buffalo Bills were standing at 22.
The biggest thing about it was the bill.
Are they going to go into receiver? They need to receiver the one more receiver in this offense the Buffalo Bills ran 11 personnel.
And what that is is that they went one tight end and one running back for 70% of their offensive sets.
So they had three wide receivers all the time.
Well, you got Beasley and Brown, who did pretty well.
They had 72 67 catches, respectively, a type of Earnhardt, Perkins, and you know things like what they see.
You spread the ball around whoever's open, that's great.
And this this offenses have heavily predicated on a route runner.
So what, That brought bringing that over? Is that OK? We're not gonna be able to give enough ammunition up to trade up to, like 12 or 11 to get one of these rookie wide receivers.
Minnesota was willing to dance because minute, Minnesota has trouble with her cap.
So they want draft pick because those are the cheapest option Ophelia roster.
So they end up we essentially drafted to find days with the 22nd pick, a guy that doesn't get acclimated to the NFL, a guy that at times, all receivers are.
I got no sound out of you.
Check your your computer.
Yeah, I don't know what I hit head on here? I heard of being so I didn't get any of that about Stefan digs.
He likes some receivers and then you were gone.
Okay, but did the receivers in the draft weren't as polished his digs.
And you have to be a route runner in this offense.
So basically they use their 22nd overall pick two drafts to find eggs, which is the guy that was dance. Get acne, it NFL.
He's a great runner.
I mean, he's a little bit of a diva, but they think the locker room is so strong right now that could deal with him internally.
That he wouldn't make a big stink if he didn't have a catch it in 1/4.
You know, I mean, so, uh, like I said, I like this to find eggs pick.
But I'm with you 100% as faras.
The Bills perspective is this defense, even though they're playing a lot tougher schedule, and so is the rest of the F C East that they've got a hack of the schedule that's played F C West, an NFC West, so it's gonna be tough sledding for a lot of the teams in the NFC East, but their defense is gonna be what carries them. Absolutely.
So I want to get back to the defense in a second, but actually question around a little bit like that.
But okay, I want to stick with Josh on for a second.
And so I'm looking at Stephan ****s and I get what you're saying with the picks, and I'm I'm a patriot fan.
So draft picture like gold dust.
You what? I mean, it's Ah, it's, um we don't get Rob Gronkowski Every pick people, if you ask Patriot fans belt check.
There's no draft, but we have We have guys like Joe Tooni and an alibi and guys people that people forget her on the team that are great.
I'm huge on graphics.
Yeah, but to me, that's a boatload.
You what? I mean, but I get.
But then I was So what? My question is the pressure's gotta be on Josh Allen now, right? Cause if he throws the sales the ball 20 feet over his head too much, I mean or he's not clicking or not using him right, because he's scared to make the long pass or whatever.
I'm not saying he is.
It's still not a knock. It's just a real border question. No.
Is there pressure on him this season? Here's what I'm gonna say.
And I'm gonna put this out to dear Pats Nation because I know you know this, Ray, but the rest of that nation, or if you're a Patriots fan, you probably don't know this because you've had Brady for 20 years, okay? And this is not a knock.
I'm not trying to talk down.
I'm not trying to assault anybody.
This is how the formula has been going around the NFL.
How I've seen it and how it's been going draft a rookie quarterback.
Okay, so you're not paying that guy.
He's on a rookie salary for five years.
So what you do is you Sprinkle all this money around to the rest of your team to try to build it up, to try to become a winning team.
All right, Josh Allen is going into year three.
So then what happens is when you're on that timeline, if the guy pans out, okay, you pay him some guys, you may have to let go, because now your quarterback.
The most important position on the team could start winning you games by himself.
You're in your three now.
Allen, in his year, three season he's had Is that a number of starts? This is the year you have to figure it out, because by the end of this year is whether or not you're gonna either pick up his fifth year option, which is what you're gonna do, or you're gonna extend him long term with, with guys like Germaine, Edmund's Trey White Matte Milano.
A lot of these offensive guys defensive guys that the Buffalo Bills have that our role players right now that are going to get paid because they are producing.
I mean, they already let Shack loss in the Jordan Phillips walk.
This is the year I have said it multiple times on our streams that there's no more excuses after this year.
You have every toy in the book to play with right now before even going to the draft.
And now you have to start producing this year.
This is Alan is here.
If he does not produce, I would not be surprised that Buffalo Bills are gonna be looking toe another quarterback in the near future.
And to your point, I always thought Bella Check was more part.
I don't think he ever wanted a first round pick.
I think hes for strong because he has to pay them.
Yeah, I think he would rather have, like, 4/3 round picks and be like, Listen, I'll just I'll weed him out during camp and I'll get the guy that knows what she's doing That's what it's about.
Talent evaluation, too.
So let's talk about yard.
Stick him for a second who looks like he's gonna be our started this year, right? I'm getting a lot of people laughing out of seeing that.
It's and I was kind of chuckling about it, you know? Now here we go.
We went from a six round quarterback to 1/4 round quarterback, right? And guys like Goddess Balla check.
Think he's going to, you know, catch lightning in a bottle again.
And then I got this guy Joe, who's on my one of my followers, and I always say, should be on my payroll because he just sends me thousands of articles and stuff to go through.
Going into the 2018 draft stadium was undecided whether or not he was gonna go back to Auburn or go to the draft right at that time.
I'm going six in the draft.
Really? Yep, they had him going.
It's six in the drive.
Other guys had him not as high, but had him in the first round.
What happened was he went back to Auburn for 20 for our story for $20.
Went back to Auburn for the 20.
Now I'm confused.
Yeah, he got drafted last year with Dr Auburn for the 2018 season to be drafted for 2019.
And, um, what happened was his entire offensive line from the year before was gone.
They'd either graduated or went to the NFL, his two best receivers toward a C.
L's before the season started, and he just regress ts right and basically knocked himself very much like a Jordan love who I think is gonna go further down than people think, because he he had an off year this year.
But again, they had coaches changes over in Utah, and, you know, I mean, like, you could get that affects a young quarterback of your coach changes from season to season, so I'm sitting there going like I don't think we have Tom Brady in the wings.
But, I mean, I don't think we have the next argument for a six time Super Bowl champion.
Whatever are you? And I know we'll debate that.
But you know, I don't think we have that guy there.
But we got a guy that I think can do more than manage a game.
Maybe not this season.
I don't have high expectations for this season, but give me years a starter.
We get a guy like an above manage game.
And let's face it, in New England, you don't have to do more than just be a little bit more than a game manager.
You what? I mean because they set the team up toe win.
That way, if the offense is a role in the defence comes in, you know.
I mean, if nothing's rolling, **** it will get in the voice war.
Sorry, guys, if I It's only when I got other people on.
I'm okay by myself.
But you know that nothing's wrong. No outta here.
Sony, you run the ball pounded down their throat for a bit.
They can change their identity overnights.
And I'm like, You know, if this kid was so high taught and people were like Man, he could have been a first round of the year before somebody falls down to 1/4 maybe about check.
Did find lightning. I don't again.
He's not going to Patrick Mahomes.
He's not Tom Brady.
No, he may not even be Sam Darnold.
You need me. Why? That's a bad comparison.
But he may not even be Yuri mean or ah ah, Kyla Murray.
He may not even be at that level, but he just cruising.
I just think he's been ruined.
I think he could have had a career.
Ah, he was a guy that I wanted the Patriots to take really badly because I thought they could.
You know, that's a kid that needs the right kind of coaches, sought in college and he went to Arizona and got zero coaching, got zero coaching, and then then they bring in a quarterback guru and they trade him away.
You are no sorry.
Um, yeah, they bring in ah court.
Want a really good quarterback, coach and they trade him a way to bring in Kyla Murray, which I still would have wanted.
Then he goes to Miami, where I like Brian Flores, who's a great defensive coach.
They had Chad O'Shea, who was our receiver coach, was an awful offensive coordinator, but they had Jerry, um, who was the Patriots assistant quarterback coach.
They brought him in to work with them, but they set him up for, like, just the crappiest situation in the world.
I think they just I think they broke the poor kid.
And I thank you when you lose your job to a journeyman like like Grand Fitzpatrick.
I think the writing's on the wall for you.
I don't know much.
Much can be said about that.
But to your point about Jared, there is a very different mindset that comes in for a quarterback.
When you're told them when you tell them you don't have to win the game, you just don't lose it.
Yeah, and you know what? People that have very short term memories that we have to go back 12 years and that's pretty crazy to do that.
Um, I bring this example of all the time.
I mean, Matt Cassel hadn't started a meaningful game since he was in high school.
I mean, he went to USC, but he didn't play.
Then he plays for the Patriots.
He wants 11 games for them, Which is the most insane thing that I think ever happened.
Because I think it would have changed the course of the timeline if Matt Cassel, who went to the playoffs.
The pictures go 11 5 Mr.
Are you serious? Right now You win 11 games and you missed the playoffs.
The Chargers rate and ate that year, by the way, and they won the division.
That's why we got a receipt.
Your bad boy is madness.
After the season, you're gonna receive him.
I really think you can do that.
No, no, I I completely agree with you.
Look, if you look at a guy like Tyrod Taylor, he lost you more games.
Anyone? Because he had he was full of talent, full of talent.
I and even my old man who will give nobody a buffalo credit.
You should hear him talk about Jim Kelly.
It's blasphemous just because he hates Buffalo so much what I mean.
But even my old man said, Man, this kid's got more talent in his left hand than half the quarterbacks in the league, but he just he stupid your immunity would do stupid things.
And it's you look at some of these quarterbacks and, you know, an ****yst.
I wanted him to sign with the Patriots this year just so you could play for every team in the NFC East. My God, how beautiful.
It just just endure year.
I mean, that sheet news, that's your Fitzpatrick is a genius when it comes to quarterbacking.
I'm not the last time Buffalo beat us with Tom Brady, because I know you guys beat us when we had Jacoby percent starting.
But I think the last time you guys beat us, Fitzpatrick was the quarterback.
I never actually was really want.
I want to say it was 2011 and we beat you at home.
And it was off of a quick slant to Freddie Jackson, who got knocked down to the three yard line.
The Bills run the clock down and kicked a field goal.
Because the moment that you beat us, that orchard nose around home would have been the rough. Yeah.
I'm saying way never beat you at Foxboro.
You're the ship.
That would be percent. Yeah.
Yeah, that was that was in Foxboro.
Okay, that was when When Rex, how did you find Rex Ryan? As a coach, you got? Because, honestly, if there's a coach, I haven't hated Maurine in my career.
So how did you feel having him as your coach? You know what Paul and I did? It did a episode.
I think they're in the summer with talking about Rex Ryan.
And, you know, Ryan was the only guy that actually had some sustainable.
I guess you could say success against the Patriots, and everyone knows in this league, you know quite well in order to make any kind of noise.
You got to take care of home first.
You gotta take care of your division.
If you can take care of division, it doesn't matter.
I mean, Brady's two and 23 against the division.
In his career, he's got a for 80% winning percentage against the frickin division.
I mean, all he has to do is go 500 against the rest of the league during the playoffs every year.
So that's how bad at the A F C East has been.
And when you see teams start making moves left and right, this and that I mean, you want to talk about just really quick an example.
A Chargers, their load, not They have probably one of the best secondaries in the NFL that they're on paper right now.
I mean, what they've loaded up where they're able to sign and get.
And why do you have to do that? You're in the same division is the Kansas City Chiefs? That's why you have to do that.
So you start to see all these moves that happen in the NFC East.
A lot of those air four, you have to try to take care of your division first.
I mean, okay, the Patriots have a great defense.
Okay? The bills end up getting a really good defense.
Hey, it Look it.
Look it when Miami signed.
All right, well, look what the Jets are signing now, You know, I mean so everyone's like copying what everyone else is doing in order to take over which a lot of people I feel is the most winnable Division the NFL right now.
Yeah, and it's the NFC East is gonna be a very interesting division.
Watch us here because ah, I do believe the Jets will be the bottom.
I think that Ah, A lot of people in New York they think that this team is so much better than they are.
I think Sam Donald's gonna see ghosts all year Ski code.
Still think Jamal Adams is just a wasted talent on that team? We need to go somewhere else where you could be executed properly.
Used properly, it maybe be happy.
Um, I do have Buffalo winning the division this year.
I really D'oh Um, and I actually have the Patriots coming second, us winning one of those wild card spots.
I got Miami coming a tight third with a possibility of winning that seventh wild card spot.
Oh, man, if the great teams from the East Coast all so what? But when you walk when you look around and look, I hate giving anybody else needs credit, But when you look around the rest of the NFL.
How's Andy gonna be? I mean, Tom Brady is taking a step back.
Philip Rivers has fallen off that cliff.
You know, I mean, like, way we saw it.
Maybe he can come back a little bit.
How good a thing to be, How I motivate.
Is that Shawn Watson going to be with DeAndre Hopkins playing over in Ah, in Arizona.
So, you know, Jacksonville's a mess.
You know, Tennessee enjoy Ryan Tannehill.
Because if you really think that he's gonna come out and actually be this franchise guy for you, Good luck.
You know, I mean, it's that doesn't happen, man.
It doesn't mean Brock Osweiler two point.
Denver is not there yet.
Maybe the Raiders are coming back.
But again, you have the extra wildcard spot.
Now the chief with the chief's, um And then you have Ah, you know, the Browns will see they got Hooper now, But I mean, um, they got a new coach.
I think the owners to involved I think ****ytics make too many decisions.
I have no problems, the ****ytics, but there's decision you have to make on the field and have an ****ytics guy in your ear.
I think it's gonna hurt them.
Um, who else? In that sense, he lets see how Joe Burrow is.
He's gonna be a, you know, And you got the Ravens.
So again, Miami won't necessarily be in that final wild card spot on.
Pittsburgh's gonna be better this year when Roethlisberger comes back.
But there's, I don't see with a little bit of luck, I don't see why there can't be three F C East teams unless and last.
Miami can't get the quarterback situation under control.
That's gonna be their big one.
Well, the craziest part.
I like what Miami is doing.
It seems like flurries is setting up the blueprint that was set up in New England.
So that always always frightens me a little bit when somebody knows what the blueprint is and they start to execute it.
The Jets Donald, In my opinion, I probably have probably will hire on Donald.
I think Donald can override a lot of what case does for about two or three games.
I think he I think he can override the chaos of what Adam cases.
I understand that Paige is going to the Patriots because of L.
I we already know that the bills, it seems like, and I don't want to get too far ahead it because the bills have not earned the right to have that type of confidence in the fact that oh, it's their division to lose.
You don't earn the right to say that right now, okay? A lot of people will say that in Buffalo, but they haven't earned the right to say that.
I, uh you know, the 1st 2nd 4th and fifth toughest schedules.
According right now on paper for the league belong to the four F C East teams.
Yeah, it's 1245 So my bold prediction and told Paul on our stream a couple of weeks ago, I said, Listen, whoever wins the East could be a nine and 17.
The nine and seven could win the NFC East this year because whoever decides to play the best against the East, probably will it win the division because those teams against the West teams you have.
You got a place see out here going to San Francisco, you gotta play Kansas City you gotta play, you know? Well, he said, Las Vegas is emerging and everything.
Those are still really tough games to win against the West.
So that being said all that intertwined, it's just that there might be some time for, you know, you're sitting there at five.
And 5 30 in the A F C East.
You're going, Hey, we could still win the division this year.
You know for sure, I I worry about the patriots a little bit more because we have to play the division winners too, right? So, yeah, we have to play Baltimore, right? I don't think you guys have to play ball.
We have to play Baltimore.
We have to play Houston, which doesn't scare me as much anymore.
Um, but they still have Jake you want, you know, they still have two strong watts and his phenomenal who apparently is gonna be a patriot next year.
Bills Ryan has just completely lost his mind.
And, uh, how do you do what he's done and still retain your job? I don't understand that.
This has gotta be his last year.
I mean, if if he could not, But I've watched, and I mainly still a 50 year option on him, so he could still be for another.
He could still be there next year, but he may just say you took options from me.
I'm going somewhere else And the Patriots going $100 million caps space next year.
Come to me, de Sean, and make Nick Eel, Harry something, you know, and my undrafted free agent to Kobe Myers.
Throw him the ball.
You know, it's It's a Belichick offense.
How many undrafted free agents and seventh rounders can I be? Can I make in the starters? So is that you on the chowder? Is that your partner on the chat? Right. I'm on the changes.
So you've seen some of the questions, But this is usually the time of the night that I started taking questions from the SportsCastr crew, and they seem to have some for you, So if you're cool, we'll start answered some of their questions.
I know you've been answering as they go along, but you have you.
I'll have you answer for the people who aren't reading the chat.
Uh who you auntie said Who is this third team with the toughest guys that I didn't know? I just I was just given the information that 124 and five all belong to the F C East as of right now, the toughest schedules.
Okay, now, he asked a question about a I'm just trying to find it. Here was a tight end.
What was? What was this thing about that the stadium change.
You guys were talking about getting a new stadium there? Well, you know what? Goodell likes to drop bombs on the floor every once in a while.
So it's not just the New England Patriots that he likes to mess with the girls and throw a lot of time so that he'll just drop a bomb on the bills and say, Listen, you got to try to do stadium upgrades.
You've got to try to do this and that and the other thing and the way.
I don't know if you're not, if you're not familiar and you're familiar.
But if you're really not familiar with how Buffalo work Orchard Park is not in Buffalo, it's actually like about 20 miles away from you, so it's just in a huge field like there's nothing around it, which is why you have so many people that tail, get this and that.
And there were rumors that the Agulhas, um Teri and Kim Pakula, who owned the Buffalo Bills, also owned the Buffalo Sabres.
Now the savers or downtown there were there.
Also, like they're working on things of trying to build a new stadium downtown for the Buffalo Bills.
Well, the tip number one, the tailgating experience would be gone to traffic in Buffalo.
It's just it's not even, I mean, it's like trying to drive on a Worcester at, like at 3 p.m.
It's absolutely atrocious trying to drive in Buffalo when it when it's traffic, you imagine a Bills game.
It's even tough to get out of Bills game at Orchard Park, and it's it's completely wide open.
So ah, that being sad, he said.
Okay, you guys do this guy to this.
So Buffalo Bills for the foreseeable future, Will state will remain in Orchard Park.
They have enough room there to build a stadium right next to the one that they have, and then just demolish that one.
That's how much space is out there.
So does the impart perfect tight ends Logan Thomas and Nick O'Leary Any good? Logan Thomas.
He came from Virginia Tech, and he was actually quarterback in college and nickel.
Leary came from Florida, the floor of the famed Florida State draft for the Buffalo Bills, where they drafted Ronald Darby, Carlos Williams and Nickel Leary, all from Florida State.
One draft that will give you a hint about Rex Ryan right there.
Um, but Nick O'Leary, Logan Thomas were tight ends on the Buffalo Bills.
I think they're good depth pieces for any team like rosters.
Right? 90. Play around.
Kick the tires on those guys, see if they're see if they're all right.
Um, you know Logan Thomas is that tall, lanky between your type of white of tight end Nick O'Leary is more of the lunch, lunch pail, hard hat guy that, you know, get in there and grind it out a little bit.
But though those guys would be journeymen depth signings at any position, that are any team that they signed with.
So I hear that, Joe, they're the perfect signing for the New England Patriots.
That's what we that's what we like.
Write, journeyed make him make him into something.
Why didn't Bledsoe work, especially with wide receiver Corey All had at the time? It's not that he didn't work.
I want to say, Oh, God, I want to stay around 20 to 25 records that Jim Kelly had set in the nineties while playing for three years with the Buffalo Bills.
Ah, he had a peerless Price and Eric Moulds, who were too wide outs for the Buffalo Bills at the time.
They both had over 100 receptions in the same season with Drew Bledsoe.
It was one of those times Buffalo has always been built very heavily under defense, and in those years that Bledsoe is their.
Their defense was starting to come along.
There had a couple unfortunate breaks and certain things happen.
That was probably best time that they could have made the playoffs because everyone has always said, you know who's the greatest quarterback since, you know, since we've had Alan and everyone will go back and say I was Bledsoe and then even before that was floating.
So it's not like we've had a very good list to pick from, but I think Bledsoe should have worked, and he'd only has just given enough time about flow for it to work.
Doug Flutie is very close to my heart.
Number one from the Patriots connection number two, he played for the Toronto Argonauts and one great cups up here for us.
So it s O Flutie is Ah, I have.
I need a buffalo Flutie Jersey because I have his argo jersey of his patriots jersey of his chargers jersey.
The only jersey I don't have.
I got a stupid Wheaties box, but only for three to he did I have his calorie jersey as well.
Any play for Edmonton as well.
So have all is I have all his Ah! Oh, no, no, Sorry, B C B c.
He won the great company B. C.
So I have all his CFL jerseys and I have always NFL jerseys except for the friggin Ah, Buffalo Jersey, because my father would disown me.
But I don't live at home anymore, so it's not.
My mother thinks I'm going to church.
We're good to go, right? So it's, uh but I'm a good Catholic boy.
My mother's around, man.
I'll tell you that much.
I know that just just from, you know, you being a pies on man.
That's what I call Mama's boys at heart.
Summers drops in the chat.
4407 summers he had.
He asked me a very loaded question, and I feel I'm gonna gain on enemies from you guys.
I've already heard this right, guys, so you'll enjoy it.
Who do you think is the greatest quarterback of all time? Gotta give them a hand.
Sure, it's not Tom Brady I have.
If I if I had a list my top three, it be, um, Montana.
Manning and Marino are my favorites, followed closely closely by Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees.
Now you could see that I don't make rings a very big component, but I did say earlier in the broadcast, you know, I mean, I'm no making enemies and I apologize to dare.
Pagination is going a little longer essential.
He's the most accomplished quarterback to ever play the game ever.
He's the greatest game manager of all time.
But as Faras, if you here's the here's the thing.
I want to ask you guys.
There's two things.
One when you ask somebody, you're starting a team.
Who was the first quarterback you're taking to start that team? It's never Tom Brady.
Okay, that's what I've talked to millions of people.
It's never Tom Brady.
The second thing is this.
When Tom Brady got taken off the path when he got his injury in 2008 they went 11 5 when you took Manning off off of the Colts.
They have given the first pick in the draft the following season and took Andrew Luck.
So the Mountain, what he means to the team.
I understand Tom Brady is a great quarterback.
He's gonna have all these records.
You can have all this stuff.
He does all the rings and hardware, but for me, Montana Manning the Marino I would take if I'm starting a team right now.
And I think I would like one of the great some of the greatest quarterbacks and I'm not getting from you right here.
Everyone was waiting for it.
We're ready for this explosion all night.
Uh, there's really no explosion.
I was rationally explaining to the last time, My Brady is the greatest of all time and you're the one who got all worked up.
That's why we got you got you did.
No way gonna play that clip for somebody.
I also think he muted us because he's upset with me that I said that Donald was a bum.
That might be nobody contributed a little bit.
And then it went right into a rant of why Tom Brady is the greatest of all time.
But listen, yes, it's the most accomplished.
We know that, as I said to the last time in most people on the show for me before I we will never hear the words out of my mouth, saying that Tom Brady is the best of all time.
Tom Brady is not the best of all time.
In my opinion, Drew Brees is the best of all time.
Okay, we can debate that on a different time.
Drew Brees is the best of all time.
Peyton Manning's probably second, you mean, and I even put Aaron Rodgers is third when you talk about raw talent, and one day Patrick Mo Holmes could possibly pass all of those guys 100% with you.
I need more than two seasons before I see it because I want to see when it becomes a $40 million man.
If you still plays like a $40 million quarterback, right? So I won't tell him that yet.
But I always say there's a difference between the best and the greatest.
Brady is the greatest A from accomplishments, but I can understand the argument that there's team accomplishments.
I also am a guy who leans Maur on the Bella check side of the argument over the Brady side of the argument.
So this is where my rationale starts to come in.
I need to put this up front before I tell you why you're wrong and I'm right.
I tried to do that serious.
I tried to stay seriously and I just couldn't.
I caught myself, pulled it off brilliantly.
Yeah, but oh, God, I killed with my broke character That ****es me off so much anyways, when you look through a lot of things, there was a time, not the last couple of seasons, and I'm not going to talk about his longevity.
And if you wanted to say that he hasn't been the same since 89 6010. That's fine week.
Even throw out his last three Super Bowls and just look at what he did up till that erase and Randy Moss.
Okay, Who was Wes Welker before he was a patriot? Who was Wes Welker after he was a patriot and he played with Peyton Manning? It's not like he left to play with a bum.
He went and played with Peyton, right? He was okay.
He wasn't the West walker of the Patriots days.
I watched him in 2013 with Kendrell Thompkins.
I think Josh Dobbins or some something like that, and some other guy that I can't ever remember his name and watch the Patriots have one of the worst defense is in the league that year and basically Brady out. Score A lot of teams.
And then I think about moments against the New Orleans Saints with 40 seconds left in the game, one time out and him marching down the field, where the greatness comes in.
And this is where Montana's in the argument for me, and this is actually Peyton's.
Not because Peyton's in my best conversation, okay, Peyton had one good Super Bowl he really did.
He had one good Super Bowl with the Colts.
The one the 2nd 1 The one they won despite him.
You mean when they lost New Orleans? I guess you could say the onside kick was a big deal.
What for? You didn't help either.
Pick six didn't help.
He looked awful against Seattle.
You really mean? Ah.
Watches a snap bought.
You don't mean like just unpaid like things.
Peyton Manning is probably the greatest regular season quarterback in the leak.
I mean, from a pure talent standpoint, from a smart standpoint, probably one of the, you know, in my mind, one of the best.
OK, Tom Brady and I almost put I put Jim Kelly in this category as well, and people might think I'm crazy because you lost four Super Bowls.
But I can't really look and say, This is all you know.
The four Super Bowls were Jim Kelly's fault.
You what? I mean, guys like Brady guys like Kelly, They had the accomplishments they had, and I don't care that you guys never won one.
I'm sure you are, but you went to four in a row like that's not nothing to sneeze at like that's not an accomplishment.
This needs that the greatest win the games when they matter, they make the plays a matter.
That's why the iconic things are at the catch in San Francisco.
You what? I mean, that's that's just a cz much Dwight Clark as it is Joe Montana.
You what? I mean, but Montana gets all the credit for that play.
When it was just a phenomenal of the catches, it was a throw.
It wasn't like a perfect, you know, basket catch right.
It was a leaping catch.
We we get blinded by thinks, which is fine.
I do the same thing with Brady.
I'll talk about things where Randy Monster, the one handed catch over Darrelle Revis don't like what a great Brady through even be overthrown by four feet.
Just happened have ah, a receiver that could could make that play.
We were blinded to those kind of things.
You have to be great. In a way.
Buffalo basically invented the no huddle offense.
You mean with with Jim Kelly, and I don't think anybody pulled it off better.
Then Buffalo until Tom Brady started running that offense and they ran that for about four years, you know? I mean, that was their bread and butter for a long time.
Not not the same way Buffalo used it.
Could you get Justin all game? I don't know how the hell you did that, you know me.
But they used it more than anybody else.
I don't think anybody ran it as good or close to how good Buffalo ran until Tom Brady.
And as much as you had Tom Brady the seven yard past, I'm not blind.
I knew it. I knew it before anybody started.
I knew before Twitter was invented in and everybody and everybody in the world told me.
But I also watched him hit Gronkowski 35 yards down the field toe.
Win the Super Bowl.
You what? I mean, the dude comes through when you need him to come through that final drive against ST Louis.
And you can say they knew the playbook. I don't care.
We won the Super Bowl, right? I really don't care how ***** that are.
Super Bowls are, you know, um, I know that in Carolina they kick the ball out of out of bounds.
He still had to make plays.
You mean we've seen teams get those opportunities and go three and out? We saw the Patriots get opportunities and go three and out this year.
You had, I mean, in the new modern Brady era.
I love how you're trying to take all my counterpoints.
They kick the ball out of bounds and they get the ball to 40 like Brady has to go 25 years for planetary Seal it.
But you've got to make the plays, you know? Yes, If should Pete Carroll of Random Ball.
Everybody knows that march on Rachel ran before.
Nobody is denying that.
But I also like to remind you that Seattle had a 10 point lead going into the fourth quarter.
And at that point, no team had ever come back from being down 10 points in the fourth quarter training and they came back and they took the lead, which put them in a position for place to be made.
And I always tell you, Hightower had to make it even bigger play before the interception even comes you and I mean, that should have been a walking touchdown, absolutely.
That same year before, you know, before the whole spy gate and where they stopped the Colts right by running the ball 300 yards for their 245 yards for the game and having a better half After they switched the balls out, they were down 14 points the week before the Baltimore twice Twice, they were down 14 points.
I mean, the defense wet the bed against Baltimore, you mean, and Brady had to come back and put three touchdowns up because one was the settlement.
Right? So you you can't get Brady the crowded for throwing it over Nadelman and making ah a great trick play and some, Well, I won't.
But when you when you go through it and I mean there's 100 boring examples to of Week nine against, you don't mean ah, week.
And then when you start getting into those things and then you have the allure and I also think to in Manning was in this category, Montana was in this category.
And yes, Belichick has a piece of this again.
I lean more on the ballot check argument that I do the Brady argument.
There's a fear, I mean, for Davis White.
Let's talk about you, Davis White.
You see what you said about Brady about a month ago? He said they asked them, You know, what do you want? Brady do? So why won't amount of the A.
C s? Don't let anybody fool you.
People are still scared when he's on the field.
That's your quarterback.
Listen, listen, I I gave you your time.
Can you say I don't know? I got a pretty character for one second, all right? But I want to be in this, this confusing the chatting or whatever.
Whoever's watching this I never said I Brady to me.
He's one of the smartest quarterbacks that's ever played the game.
Please don't don't don't think this is a typical a f c East rival guy that just says this bridge so existed.
That's not that, Believe me, I've recognized with this.
That's just guys done.
Okay, I'm not seriously.
I'll never say the guy's stupid or he doesn't know what he's doing.
Okay, so I continue because I got my retort coming.
Okay, I'm almost done anyways, all right.
There's a reason, though, at the end of the day that the only argument awards the greatest of all time is legitimately Brady verse Montana.
There's a reason that the man in verse Brady argument is done.
There's a reason that the breeze versus and I mean and you look at Drew Brees.
He's 40 years old.
You're turning 41.
You still playing at high levels is an old man.
So it's not like keys do it.
It just Brady did it a European ahead of him.
That's why he's not getting the attention.
You what I mean a levels that he's playing at but that arguments gone, the Roger's argument is gone.
The Brett Farve argument is done like I never argued for fires, not you on this in general.
John Elway gets thrown at me a lot, yet I mean, Marino and and I get Marino got screwed a little bit by having a lot of bad teams.
But I've seen Brady with bad receiving course, turned them into something.
I've watched him lose Gronkowski and win a Super Bowl.
You mean like it's and you know people go? Yeah, we had more.
Yeah, we did, But Martellus Bennett played for three teams before came in New England.
Nobody could play with with Martellus Bennett, you know, and as much again I lean on the Belichick side.
There's nobody wants to come to New England this year.
They're all calling Tampa Bay.
And it's not because of Bruce Arians because you fall in Detroit was.
Well, Patriots players are what I'm saying.
We've seen guys Chris Long called the Patriot before 26 2 2016 season and said, I'll give me the veteran minimum.
I want a chance to win a Super Bowl.
You're how nobody's doing that this year.
Nobody's calling the Patriots saying I'll take a discount to come play with Jared Stadium.
What the You know, I think it was Adam researcher or ah are Schefter that came out and said, You know, Tampa can't keep up with the calls are getting from agents for players that want to go play for the Buccaneers.
So there's there's a recognize ation a much and I think for me, too, is when I hear players talk about it, guys like Ray Lewis that I like and forget his personal life.
Ray Lewis is one of the greatest defenders ever play the game.
Ah, the greatest defendant ever play the game is, um lt Ed Na? Well, yeah.
Sorry, lt. Then add read. I don't to be number two.
So I read says Tom Brady's to go You know what I mean? Real And I take that stuff in and there's players that I didn't have a lot of respect for, Like Trent Dilfer.
You know, I mean, who I always say is like the crappiest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl until I hear players talking about him, which at least makes me take a step back to try to re examine the Trent Dilfer is because at the end of the day, Ray Lewis and those kind of guys and Brian Urlacher and those they know so much more about football than I do you what? I mean, like they when it comes to recognition of talent.
Yeah, I understand football from sitting on my couch or going to the stadium and watching the game.
But to be on the field and watch it of that speed, understand what guys could do? Um, you know, Joey Bosa came out Joey Joey's older one, right? Yeah, Joey Bosa came out and just said you know, it's you can't sack Tom Brady.
He's just so hit.
The ball comes out of his hands so fast.
He's so smart, like he's getting the ball there before his receivers there, like he knows where everybody on the field is gonna teach men.
That's smart, but I think that's what the greatness comes in.
Give me your A bottle and then we will wrap this up.
It's the perfect way to finish our share.
Okay, so first of all, I want to say, First of all, thank you not for having me on that comes later.
But I want to thank you for actually sticking to Brady stats because usually when I have these debates with people and they talk about Brady, they start just tearing down other quarterbacks.
And you didn't do that.
You should be focused on Brady, and I appreciate that.
The reason why I put you know they did a statistical ****ysis.
One time they had had a breeze Manning and Rogers in 44 combined seasons that those guys have played.
This is a couple years ago, they had 10.
Defense is okay in 18 seasons that Tom Brady has played. He's had 10.
Top 10 defense is, you know, you start talking about, you know, the break up of that.
And another thing is this.
The John Elway Jim Kelly and Joe Montana are all Oh, and five against the Belichick lead defense in playoffs or Super Bowls.
Peyton Manning's three and two in a F C championship games against Bill Belichick.
You know, say what you want about the defense carrying him, and I understand that it's about time the defense carried Manning here and there.
You know, we're gonna have this discussion many times over about Tom Brady and, you know, the greatest quarterback of all time because it's a debate that will never end.
It's there's points on each side to be made.
I will tell you this, though, and for dear fascination, everybody else listening and watching, I will acknowledge actually some things that this kid is done.
Some things that Tom Brady has has accomplished in his career are undeniable.
His comebacks is you know, some of these clusters of some of this, however, he's got to be put in the position to do those things, and I think that Bill Belichick allows him to do that.
You talked about you talked about a Peyton Manning.
He went to another team and still won a Super Bowl.
You talked about Joe Montana? He's look concussion away from bringing the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl.
You talk about even a Kurt Warner? I mean, he brought two different teams to a Super Bowl.
That's an amazing accomplishment.
And you acknowledge the whole Jim Kelly bring in four in a row.
Okay, he didn't win one, But I think going to four in a row is more impressive than what Trent Dilfer did.
Honestly, yeah, I don't downplay.
Dilfer is always the worst quarterback to ever win it.
Statistically speaking, Ben Roethlisberger against the Seahawks was the worst quarterback performance of all time.
There's also the worst officiated game of all time, so Oh, my God, it was atrocious.
Any really just a defend Jim Kelly from one second.
I mean, if Scott nor could kick a field goal, you know what I mean? Then you got a Super Bowl, so you can't.
You can't plane blame Jim Kelly for that.
You want a name like he put him in that he put him in the position.
Military? Would it save Unitary headed? Norwood didn't.
All right, go ahead.
Well, that's that's that's I know, I know we're going long on time and and this is one of this one of those beautiful cliffhangers we could leave your pants nation on, but I just want to say real quick before do Pass Nation goes for the evening and you do your send off a couple of videos on here before that goatee.
Oh, Ray's gotta go fund me Page.
All the proceeds are gonna be going to our sports registration for kids coming up.
Please go and donate to that.
These kids sports is such a huge impact on kids, lives and stuff.
Please go and do that.
If you just do the minimum, just go there and donate, and then it's gonna be amazing.
I can't wait to see the turn out that you get right.
I really appreciate that.
And guys didn't want to decide.
He may be a Buffalo fan and his body maybe a Buffalo fan, And I'll be honest.
I haven't saw a lot of YouTube stuff. I watch your sport.
I watch a lot of sports caster stuff during the season.
You mean when you guys were on more often? Um, I loved I gotta tell you, I loved watching you guys after a loss.
It was you, especially you.
The face you had such an Italian just want phase.
Like you could just talent.
You just sit there and, um, check you guys out there.
Videos come out of God on on godly times, like 6 a.
Because I don't know way just you just I I schedule mall for 6 a.
m. So they run the whole day.
A lot of our, uh well, not a lot.
But we do have a great number of individuals that watch him over overseas.
So there's a lot of buffalo fans are stationed.
Ah, lot of places.
So by having him at six, they get him at, like, noon.
So they're watching him when they get up so well. Fascination.
If you want to watch him in our godly times to come out at 6 a.
They do a live Q and A on Friday night.
No Friday or no Sunday morning.
Saturdays, Saturdays, right? Saturdays on SportsCastr? Yes, We're gonna do a live Q and A, but coming up this week, I don't know if we're gonna both be together.
It'll be just me.
But either way, it's, um, good football.
And it's it's actually just from really good football talk.
And it's centered around the bills, obviously.
But if you guys want to know what the Buffalo Bills are gonna be doing since you're going to be contending with them for an F C East crown this year, you might want to come over and check out ash exports.
I also got to tell you Summers, his name is Chris.
I've never seen him right this much.
And one of my thank you here.
You had him through the roof.
Oh, thank you so much for I'm not a good time doing this. Well, ah, we gotta do this again.
Maybe closer to the draft, we can talk about how you don't have a first round pick and we d'oh! Ah, we can talk some stuff and then I really I know.
Last guys, last year we were supposed to do ah collaborate before week 15 or weeks is in.
Um, I think that we all just forgot to be honest cause we message each other and said, What are you good? And we gave dates and then we never did anything with it.
So this is it so much crazier because, like I said, we do our episode when we drive in the car and then during the seat, it's just live streams and, you know, you know, it's ground hog day.
You know that And for his mail, I should do It's a Scrabble our days Oh, you know what it's it's I always say that I go like I love the off season because I actually kind of know where I am with things was once the season starts, I don't know, like doing this.
I love it and I love I do the play by play, and I love connected Patriot fans, but I haven't seen my wife like this, is that sometimes it's taken almost the enjoyment out of it comes in their life, Chief, like, I just want to scream and yell and walk away and pout for 20 minutes.
I don't want to go and try to be the rational Patriots, and I'm like, I try to stay optimistic.
Like I'm always like I like.
Don't worry. We're fine. Yeah.
We've lost six in a row.
We got, you know, like, I'm that I've never had to say that, but you get what I'm saying.
You know, I'm back.
And ah, you know, I thought, but maybe what I'll do this year, guys, fascination that you can watch is when they're driving around doing their thing, I'll follow them in my car.
So I'm just down the road from him.
I'm just, you know, it's It's well right now.
Right now, I can't get into his country right now, But once you take the cue, T w down, we'll meet you.
Don't you? Don't wanna be in your crime is gonna follow you guys around talking about the patriots.
Look, these idiots in front of me, Josh Ellen is yeah, when they get all fall behind them, all the stocks really obnoxiously on the phone in one hour.
All where malware Toronto Maple Leafs hat with the patriots jersey.
And just like I knew, that would come in.
I'm not a leaf fan, so don't worry about it.
I don't actually watch eye like you haven't watched hockey since 2010.
So you gotta worry about that.
I won't be talking.
I feel are Maybe it's 12.
Whatever the last strike was, I never watched again after the strike.
Ah, a seven or $8.
Yeah, maybe a little seven away.
It was probably around then.
I just Yeah, it was that late.
Yeah, I had enough after that.
I said, The hell with it. I'm finished, actually.
Yeah, because I went to Ah, the Buffalo game in 07 was my last year watching hockey, and I'm bad Canadian people said to me all the time.
So it's alright, man.
Thank you so much for coming on.
Ah, Stay away from Are you quarantines? I, uh we're not officially state, I mean, just for necessary travel for items.
Uh, we got a grocery store that's 1/2 a block away, so I could walk there if I needed to.
Um, everything's good here. We're all good to go.
I got 884 a one year old.
So they've been, uh I think you start to get cabin fever, But it was a little nicer out today, so we're able to run outside with kids.
So that was That was a lot of fun, but it's crazy.
It's no longer has been locked.
How long do you lock yourself up for? Oh, God, what? A teacher in Buffalo.
So I, uh, right when the news came out, we were all just told to go home.
You're so Yeah, I teach head.
Will. Mathematics? Yes. Kids.
They let you around, kids.
Crazy, Right? That's what I keep telling you.
I don't know how to do math, but they keep coming.
Come back the next day.
It's crazy. Uh, the adds a lot of fun.
It's a good time.
So I mean, we would it were off.
We're just taking care of our kids and do an online distance learning and all other stuff.
So it's That's basically what it is right now.
Well, my kids are starting online learning soon.
They've been off for almost two weeks now, and I think our government finally gonna do it.
So when I don't understand the math or doing I'm gonna I'm gonna message you.
I'm gonna say I know the perfect guy here. Yeah.
You know, I'm on.
Today was Day Four of my quarantine and ah, I did go down to the grocery store.
It's a little shop.
It was not like a big chain and with little shop, and they handed me gloves when I walked in, and I just can't.
It's just like I cannot believe the world that we live in, you know, it's and how quickly it has escalated to where we are today.
Oh, it's the, um a lot of the individuals that are just walking around like Don't you have no any care in the world about this? Definitely.
What are you doing? I mean, there's a pandemic going on, and you're like, you don't care.
You just out doing also their stuff.
So you're you're Americans.
Let me ask you this.
And this isn't a knock on the USA.
You guys not tell Florida things like you hide the news for men.
Were you trying to kill the state? So you just like you know what? No one.
Tell them all the **** Canadians keep coming down.
All the old Canadians keep coming down for the winter.
We don't want him here anymore, so let's just what can I put that on a T shirt with head it Quarantine on front on the back. Taxes.
We don't tell Florida anything.
Florida, They're Ah, they're a little slow down there.
And I was supposed to leave for Florida today.
This is my Yeah, I was supposed to do today. We had to cancel.
What? This is a brutal year.
It's my daughter's great eight year.
Oh, boy. I suppose she lost her vacation.
Ah, we're just supposed to go to Quebec for her.
Great a trip, and that's gonna get canceled.
Now, she already has her dress for graduation.
That's probably not gonna happen, So she doesn't know.
And I don't have the money for this, but I am doing I'm making it happen.
We're taking her to Hawaii because that's what she's always wanted to do.
Um, I don't know how we're gonna eat when we're down there.
I don't know how we're gonna beat your hotel.
What? I said I gotta make this year up to her.
It's her birthday next week, so no birthday party can get together with our family because my old man's been exposed to the cold.
It from somebody else.
So it Well, he's an idiot.
So just he went bowling because he's in a bowling league.
And now one of the guys who he bowls with is in the hospital with cold.
But I'm like that like that.
I told myself, something happens to Mom knows.
Well, what about me? I go far, Q I go.
So you guys, But I think that's what this is making people do.
Man, you're trapped in your own house for a little while.
You what? Nothing happens. I'm Italian.
I'm a mama's boy, right? Like, not that I can provide without, you know, they saw us.
Man, this is crazy.
So it's Ah, it's, you know, it's so I'm supposed to be.
So she lost her trip to Florida, she'd lost it.
And we've always travel with my in laws.
This was gonna be our first vacation, just the four of us, like just my wife and my two kids.
So we were so pumped about not being with the old people and you know, they even in this, you know, being able to be able to do what we want to do and go where we want to go and and not eat dinner at five o'clock And, you know, like, just all that kind of stuff.
And, uh so I got to make it up for So we're gonna take her to Hawaii.
I can't afford it, but I'll figure on SportsCastr, but I start giving me a raise here.
Oh, my God, that's that's amazing.
No, that's that's That's a beautiful makeup for for all those kind of things that everyone's going through right now, I think I would be really nice, But that story with your dad and your mom is really very relatable to I don't get it tested, but it is so all right, So I'm yelling at my dad.
We're not telling Florida, you know that There's a quarantine.
Please, guys, don't forget.
Check out the gold farming page.
Support my cause.
It's the DPM fundraisers athletic finalize.

Thinking SportsCastr, for giving me this opportunity every single night of the week without all of you without Mary.
