ladies and gentlemen, what's going on has gone SportsCastr.
So today we're going to be previewing for something.
I'll be live on around 6 p.m.
Tonight for a little while, a mat in simulation here on sports Caster to be hosted here, and it's gonna be between updated rosters.
So it's gonna be interesting just to see how these teams kind of go out onto the field.
Look, you're gonna have updated rosters between the Buffalo Bills in the New England Patriots.
Pretty much hand picked for what should be the first year of the wide open.
Still the favorites as of right now, the Patriots.
But by the time it's all said and done, likely a wide open a f c for the first time in a division as well.
So a deceased, you're going to get just the bills that probably pushed to the most there for an opportunity in terms of how complete they are, what they didn't free agency trading wise, all that the Patriots.
And now obviously you're going to have to kind of come together and have a totally different offense.
Maybe we'll see what happens with the draft.
Jared Cinnamon right now.
they signed Bryant Bryan Horror again.
So Stadium, who looked fine in the preseason, look good in the pre season last year.
Um, and you have now Brian Hoyer as your starting quarterbacks.
I imagine they do something in the draft.
If they don't do something in a draft, then maybe it's something of signing a Cam Newton video released today of him just looking absolutely swole on very much in shape and pretty determined based on just a 32nd Instagram video.
But it's It's cool.
It's cool that SportsCastrs doing this.
I've seen some other platforms start to get some of these simulations out there, obviously, loads of people playing Madden and streaming it.
But the simulation aspect with updated rosters should be pretty cool.
What I'm trying to do here is just really preview the game, and then I'll be talking through hanging out with people.
Gonna get the SportsCastr up right now on my phone.
But pretty excited for all of that.
Should be a a fun type of thing.
And I mean, obviously, just in General Madden, not a lot of sports.
I'm currently covering legal legends and that type of stuff for draftkings purposes loads of money to be made there, believe it or not, But in terms of this stuff, I want to get more into the streaming video games and all that.
So it should be pretty cool again.
That's at 6 p.m.
Just looking at these key moves.
I guess you could say that each team is made.
So I mean, it started with bills.
The Bills, obviously and acquiring.
And they still have John Brown on contract.
They still have Cole Beasley and acquiring Stefan digs, and they gave up the house for Stefan Diggs.
So perhaps the both sides of this, because the bills, I guess, could have used it.
It's been a while since Stefan Diggs has been just kind of.
I'm being very shady and saying things on Twitter and some tweeting teen.
Finally, he's gone, and they got every single thing that they could possibly get for him.
So I think that obviously they're happy on their side as well.
I mean, when you're talking about just a 20 21st round, pick 1/5 a sixth on Dhe, then you end up giving a 2021 4th round pick.
They give up every single thing possible for this guy and a 20 27th Olympic five total picks, obviously some great ones there, including the first round pick.
So it's not like they just gave up a first round pick for digs.
And then it's like I will.
Is that really gonna pay off? It's one.
He was starting to be sort of a head case, and you get five picks in return.
So I think it's a good deal on both sides in terms of Stefan Diggs.
Individually, you're going to a run heavy team Still, Or at least I believe, something that's going to be around every team, a team where he's like a route runner, obviously a very precise route runner.
So it'll be interesting to see, especially tonight in this stream.
Just how much of a connection there is between Josh, Alan and Stefan Diggs.
Josh and obviously, has smoky Brown John Brown, who was very good last year, not only in the deep passes, which is known for and deep routes but intermediate routes.
He was running every possible route.
He's running them very crisp, almost technician like now, Stefan digs up there is one of the best technician route runners in the league.
Crisp routes run, so to be interesting, to see if they kind of come play off of each other.
It definitely makes this offense in general really great.
From a fancy perspective, I'd say just his neutral for digs.
I mean, he finishes like a top five top 10 wide receiver last year because of huge games and Adam feeling injuries, but I would say just makes him a borderline like top 15 fantasy wide receiver.
And then from Josh on Stamp on it makes him look great.
John Brown is going to take away probably from the target chair.
John Brown goes from being the number one target share to number two, all that type of stuff.
Other things they pick up. Josh Norman.
Josh Norman can't even stay on the Redskins roster.
Last year, he was absolutely brutal.
The 1st 2 or three games he just got torched, left and right was like bottom to in the league.
At that point, he got benched really quickly in the year and just overall yards given up overall completions, touchdown to do here is brutal, so they signed him to a one year deal, I think for like six million.
Nothing crazy there.
They signed a J A.
Klein, former Saints linebacker, for just a three year, $18 million deal.
Pretty decent sized deal.
There are the Josh Norman deal.
Yes, it was one year, $6 million Frank or has not yet come back to the team.
Hopefully, he doesn't, but he doesn't plan on.
Indeed, planes. Those were the major deals.
He ended up losing Phillips and Lawson for the bill.
So they took some hits, their defense.
They added some things, their defense as well.
They signed Mario Addison.
He's on the Panthers.
He got a three year contract. Offensive lineman.
Some things are just lesser known people getting picked up a CZ well, so something's definitely on that side of it that are going to be interesting for the Bills.
Obviously, their offense gets a much better one.
Receiver looks a lot better there.
They lose some key pieces on defensive end and just trying to preview tonight what you should see, At least from the new look, Patriots is, well, the obvious stuff, right? They ended up on.
We could go back to you all the way to the starter.
Really? Free agency.
They ended up signing record again, as they should.
If he was fantastic last year, they ended up not having Tom Brady come back.
Who knows the extent to it? Tom Brady got on a call with Bill Belichick, and apparently Bill Pelagic gave him the cold shoulder.
I just did not want to talk to Tom Brady all that much, or at least was not saying yes, you should come back.
Yes, we can do this.
He was just very much like, How's it going? Tom and Tom was like, I'm good building anything cool, eh? Just He just had no emotion.
Like usually doesn't somebody took that the wrong way was rubbed the wrong way.
Brady, also based on the signings of the under Hopkins, one to trade with David Johnson sections and Cardinals and then to Stefan digs getting signed.
He just didn't see any big players coming his way.
I mean, I think once two huge dominoes, where there is trade rumors early in the day about Hopkins, Patriots were in on table, obviously, the trade with Stefan Diggs, Patriot with Warren on the table there's probably pieces like that were buried.
Let's get something.
They don't get anything.
And then your boss, your coach, that you've been with just really no interest in you or at least does not show it.
Yeah, I think that was the last straw for Tom Brady going to a place that's much warmer going to a place in Tampa Bay.
That's interesting that you coming from the private schools in the New England area where you've been for 20 years now.
Taking your kids, your wife all the way to Tampa Bay were just public schools and probably not the greatest of areas compared to the New England area you were in.
So I'll be interesting to see how he does down there.
Finally got paid.
But yet you have Jared Stanton stepping in. He had a great preseason.
He came in like the fourth quarter of a game last year through a pick six, and Bill Belichick put Tom Brady back in.
I think it's against the Jets.
Maybe was late in the game.
Just had two defensive scores.
Might've been Jamal Adams in that game, I think earlier on, so I mean, that's what people might remember from him from the regular season.
But he had a fantastic preseason.
He beat out backups there last year for the job.
Now you have Brian Hoyer, who they just ended up signing, is the backup.
I do think that they might make some more moves, but if they don't make any moves here and then you don't end up seeing anything getting made in the draft, right, Andy Dolphins out there doesn't seem like they want him for your signed a one year, $2 million deal.
I mean, might as well get him.
He's been in the system before.
He's been all around the league of veteran quarterback.
If worst comes towards your team's, doesn't fall off the rails completely.
If you're stuck with Brian Hoyer for some reason.
But, um, yeah, to be interesting to see can stay out there and the Vulcans obviously still out there.
I think those two players are much better than what they already have.
It'll be interesting to see if they do anything.
There's obviously 45 quality quarterbacks that likely get picked before the Patriots pick unless they trade up, so we'll see if they do anything there? If not, it's It's a Trevor Laurence next year.
Type of thing, right? So Well, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Jared.
Sit him tonight.
I imagine he starts in this game the simulation tonight, So I should be cool to see.
Not a lot of weapons, though.
I mean, Julianna Man should still be fine.
See a lot of people just dumping him off into, like, the fifties and fantasy rankings.
I mean, he's a number one receiver.
Gonna be in the slot for just inexperienced quarterback.
That will probably throw into this a lot more, but not much else out there.
I mean, they probably have to do something for a tight end.
I had some success last year for sprints with their tight ends, and I mean, like, one or two games before every single one of the Titans got hurt.
When they had to go get 50 year old Ben Watson.
That wasn't great.
They're outside receivers.
Obviously, they lose Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon throughout the year, for this person reasons out outside of football reasons.
But you have nothing left to kill.
Most of the area comes back, it doesn't look great.
They lost hope for said as well, Filter said.
I believe just recently signed with the Seahawks, so they have a ton of speed and in right now and just great wide receivers in Seattle.
But it'll be interesting to see that they're really down a ton of wide receivers at this point.
So with the updated rosters in this simulation tonight, I'm gonna be really interested to see Patriots Offense is a whole.
Their defense is still be stout.
They signed a lot of pieces.
They're Patriots offenses of the whole, not only about the quarterback but the rest of your team.
Yes, James White and Julian Edelman are still there.
And sorry, Michelle, but that's not much of a weapon anymore.
You got not much after that.
See if Nikki Larry, after being injured, takes sets leap to the second year again.
Don't forget he was a first round draft pick last year for the Patriots.
Haven't done that in a long time, so I do think that there's something at least to be said there for the upside of tequila Harry.
But he has to take a huge step forward.
Not only does he have to, some tight end's going to have to write, you have to continue to get the level of consistency out of Julian Edelman, who for the second half of the year last year and really the playoffs in the last quarter.
There was playing completely banged up.
And he's probably the downside of his career.
James whites in sort of a peak form for his skill set.
So imagine James what should be heavily involved this year, but not much more out there.
You have to see some moves being made by these Patriots in terms of just getting anything on the offense with some of these updated rosters.
I guess we'll wait and see.
Stephen Gostkowski obviously ends up getting cut as well.
Um, not much out.
I believe that they did sign Dan Vitality.
The Packers former title fullback.
That package of these draft a fullback and do absolutely nothing with him.
The final year happened with the other guy as well, out ski or whatever.
His name was not much happening in terms of the Patriots on the offensive sign.
They did sign the mere bird, which is actually worth mentioning Dimier.
Bird was up there for most of the year in like Top five, and routes run for the Cardinals because they just played so many.
Snaps him from close.
A little minimum for these veteran minimum 1.
But he's not a fantastic receivers plays on the outside.
He doesn't really run that deep of routes, so you're you're not getting much.
They're like the mere bird to me on the team that he was for the Cardinals, where it was like the vertical offense from the horizontal offense.
He don't really do much there.
He caught a decent amount of passes for being Dimier Bird, but as more of a factor of the offense and really, anything else, in my opinion.
So that's probably about it from just the preview of the new teams.
There's some stuff on the defensive end.
Some stuff on offensive lines, of course, that people were getting resigned.
Patriots put a franchise tag on one of their offensive guard.
So things like that, but specifically tonight, on the Patriot side, what is their offense look like? Not only Jared Stadium in this simulation Jarod sitting Brian Hoyer where we're gonna start.
Imagine it's set him at least to start the game.
But what are they gonna throw to you? Got the mere bird? Get to Kill Harry.
Second year player, former first round pick.
You got a minute, James.
Wait some stability there.
But overall, it's not fantastic when your best receiver is a short yardage slot receiver that has trouble going downfield and getting separation.
Just winning matchups.
You're more of a short passing game, and it seems pretty difficult for the Patriots to generate offense unless they go very run heavy this year, which they should have the ability to do often line wise, based on last year having an average two good offensive line on the opposite side of this game of the Bills.
But is there often look like That's what I'm most interested in? Is these offenses, you know, they both have good defense.
Is they both ranked in the top five and overall defense last year, some pieces being lost by the Bills in the defensive end? It shouldn't be too much of a hit, but what the offense look like? What is it? The fact that now John Brown is your number two receiver David Fantastic through undersea percent.
Colby selling this lot is a one of most underrated receivers in the league.
Probably not name wise for people like Fantasy and member from the Cowboys.
If you're on, the Cowboy's gonna be highlighted.
But just in general having now Stefan digs on the outside with Cole Beasley and then also on the outside having John Brown.
And don't forget you have Dawson out to a rookie tight and last year who actually was pretty good for stretches.
Catch 34 balls a game and some of his good games, but just look great.
Ah, good blockers.
Well, good around the red zone, State Farm monster so often looks good.
And then don't forget Evan Singletary in the back with Josh on Alan's gonna vulture some touchdowns away from him.
But Secretary took steps forward last year over the last really third of the season, you started to really run away from 70% of the snap.
Her so frank or no Frank or they're now Singletary should really take a step forward, probably not as much in the passing game, although he can do it opposite.
Really, on the ground.
I'd expect a lot more usage for him.
So offense overall, what does it look like with these new weapons in the passing game? Out of the Patriots? Survive on offense and I expect maybe a low scoring game when you have just a couple new offenses working together.
But then also really good defense is so that's right right now.
Patriots Sneaky. Just seeing they're taking situation.
Maybe something worth watching, having discussed calcium for the last better part of a decade.
Being your stability at kicker.
Not having that.
It might be a little bit interesting to watch.
So it's all about the preview. New teams.
When I'm looking at tonight, I'll be back around 6 p.m.
