This was Kobe UNLV dunk.
This was in a summer league game It was absolutely bonkers.
Absolutely bonkers stuff he's doing right.
Oh, this is he had back to back 40 point games against the Nuggets, and this is one of his crazy dunks behind the back.
You the windmill flam three.
I think he dumped on Doug Christie.
Right? They're amazing.
I mean, the cross over and off.
Two steps, two feet.
Kobe, Kobe was an animal.
He just had so much power he could do things that a lot of other folks couldn't do.
He simply he could go over you through you around you.
I mean, look at this.
This was number eight, Kobe.
This was the Kobe that I think a lot of fans did not get to see.
The Charles Spreewell was one of the best defenders in MBA this time.
And Kobe just went around this dunk right here.
This one on Steve Nash.
I mean, I jumped out of my seat when he did this thing.
I remember it like it was yesterday.
Dr had to tongue out like m j mean, look at some of these.
I mean, too much power, nothing you could do the blaze of a really good team backed into.
Here we go again.
Bryant against McGrady.
This is when he, uh, went around T. Mac.
Jeez, the explosion.
Now, that was that was rookie Kobe flashing Afro Kobe, Man.
Yeah, I remember when he did this.
I think he was like, the first dude actually dunked on.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was the first guy to dunk on Yao Ming.
He had switched to number 24 by this point, as you guys saw.
But he still had so much of his power, and then this This was just number eight. Kobe.
Just his athleticism.
Oh, goodness gracious.
And I want to say that was in a playoff game.
I think that was game one of the 2001 Western Conference Finals.
But I could be wrong there.
He dunked on the Spurs many times.
I remember this one on Gerald Wallace right down the middle.
This is when they thought Kobe it lost his athleticism or had lost a lot of it, and he went right down the middle and dunked it on everybody woo the drop step.
And no part of that This was in a playoff game, I believe.
Funny cause I didn't even look and see that.
That's what it said on the screen.
Dunking on Arvydas Sabonis RV.
This is one the best big men in the world before, you know, his athleticism left him.
As I mentioned, Kobe had a lot of dunks on the San Antonio Spurs over the years.
Right, Here we go.
Don't go on Josh Smith. I remember when this happened.
It's funny, cause I remember watching all of these games rolled time when he made some of these plays and the last Angelus the A I was just too small to guard Kobe.
Kobe caught him on the back door.
And that dunk, like a high above the rim at a position gets still gets the ball to go.
Now, as I said, he Ah, lot of dunks on the Spurs.
Got yellow position.
Let me go around.
Go for the reverse.
Don't know you could do.
He wound that bang up man.
Shaq and Kobe were dynamic.
Duo reversed two handed slam on the Jazz back when the Jazz were really, really good.
Greg Holster tag wanted no parts of that.
Look at those old Laker uniforms in the late nineties.
This was a playoff gang.
I remember that when he dunked on Oh, Macoco for I think that was right before the half in this game.
He dumped on Chris Paul.
Both teams competing at a high level.
He called us out on the left hand.
Colby takes a bright with strong hands of a basket.
Brian troubles down the paint around Green Re first jam with his right hand.
Nothing the Celtics could do against that.
Don't nothing, man.
That dude was nice.
Still can't believe he's going.
It's just crazy.
As I keep saying so many of these dunks on this Antonio Spurs.
It's just one thing Kobe knew how to do.
Ah, was was really wowed the crowd.
There are obviously a lot of great dunkers out there, but he could not only, you know, put up some crazy, crazy dunks, but he also won, so he entertains you on every level.
Whether it was, you know, his his dunking ability, his crossover asses fade away's whether it was how fundamentally sound he was, um, or whether it was his just his winning and his sheer will to do whatever he needed to do to make sure that the Lakers were always gonna be, um, in contention.
So I wanted to share some of those dunks with you guys.
You know, I know we're all missing the embassies, and I know I sure am.
