I am Matt Williamson with yard barker here to tell you about Tom Brady as a buck in the year.
He's still great, obviously from the neck up, but no longer can put an offense on his back.
He definitely declined last year.
Missed far too many throws he would have made.
Should have made, doesn't handle pressure nearly as well.
Brady needs help, and he should get it in Tampa.
So the key here is, well, Bruce Arians.
Change for Tom Brady or a Brady change for Arians.
They very different approaches in the passing game.
But the right answer is building the offense around Brady.
Not around Arians old system, where the quarterback holds the ball and as longer drops all the Brady's still a decent de passer.
And there certainly will be shots, the box already of great weapons.
I mean much better than what Brady played with in New England last year.
Mike Evans, Chris Godwin.
Now I'm very excited about their tight ends in the Tampa Bay, especially O.
Howard, who's very, very talented, wasn't used properly.
Well, Antonio Brown joined the parade.
Brady's pushing for that.
Already a key here, though, is the draft.
I'm were the Bucks.
It They should get a premium offensive tackle to pretty much complete their offensive line.
The interior, the lines already quite good.
And then they're a sweet spot in second round to pick up a running back.
I mean, for help that play action game.
They really have not had a running game around James Winston and forever, and they already have a very good and very underrated defense led by Todd Bowles.
So with Brady, I think Tampa is absolutely a contender in their division, maybe in the NFC, maybe for the whole thing.
But you also have to remember to by making this move, you also have to go find Brady successor sooner than later, too.
So it's obviously a super short term fix, but it's one that I like quite a bit and can't wait to see.
Thanks so much. Check me out on your barker.
