Hello, everybody, and welcome into the broadcast as I am Samuel.
He's coming to you live right here on sports cast or it's time for some CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal action as it's the first leg between the entree All Impact and Olympia of Honduras.
Thank you so much for joining me as we're in the 25th minute, and we joined this game in progress with the score right now.
Montreal Nil Olympia one Olympia taking the lead on a gold not too long ago from Jerry Banks.
Didn't we usedto play for the Revolution? I remember it very well, being a Revolution van myself.
So let's see how Montreal respond at Olympic Stadium, their home field for CONCACAF Champions League play.
Olympia is goalkeeper Hedrick Men.
Kivar got injured earlier.
The playing surface is not too good at Olympic Stadium.
I think that is Ah, a reasonable statement.
And so Olympia had to go in with their backup goalkeeper.
But they have gotten an away goal have taken the lead in this quarter final encounter at the 2020 **** a CAF Champions League in the tournament.
Eight teams obviously left in the competition.
We've got four teams from Mexico.
Meanwhile, her No.
Three teams from Is It three or 43 teams from Mexico.
Four teams from MLS to from the U. S.
Three from the US, rather in one from Canada, which is Montreal.
And then one team left up.
And that would be Olympia, who are from Honduras.
So Olympia, the only team from outside MLS and ah, legal MX that are still in this competition and so far, so good for their side in the 27th minute.
The scoreline Olympia in the lead first leg of this one.
The second leg will be in a week's time down in Honduras will be an aggregate score.
You add up the scores from both games to determine the winner.
A Waigel's. Of course.
The tiebreaker, which is huge for Olympia so far, is this Cross.
It's a bad clearance Benson with the header, but no threat there for Clementi op.
As he makes the save for Montreal.
Bankston gets up a little gingerly, but he seems to be all right.
The other quarterfinal games will take place later in the week ago.
Nice ball over the top isn't offside.
It is not touched by Bankston as he flew right by D up, but he was indeed in an offside position, as that is called by the AI R near side.
Thank you, Sally, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate it and let's see the replay you up.
Good call by the assistant referee.
Bankston was indeed offside, so two of the other quarterfinal games will take place tomorrow night and then the other ones taken place Thursday night.
Tomorrow will have.
Let's see if I can remember the chief is taking on New York City FC.
That should be a heck of a game and now fell is going to be called.
It's going out the other way as it's against Montreal.
Teary on, read the coach of the Montreal impact.
Not too pleased about that decision.
And, yeah, the later Gamely tomorrow night will be Club America against Atlanta United.
So two spectacular games tomorrow and then Thursday to wrap up quarterfinal first leg action in the CONCACAF Champions League.
It will be L A F C against Cruz, a zoo.
So all the other three matchups around the last against legal Makis, but this one an intriguing matchup as well.
All four really good games and now with speed down the right flank is Castillo.
He goes down no penalty called a clean tackle there, says the middle referee.
And now switching fields for Montreal is Louis Banks played with Tottenham.
By the way, Victor Wanyama is out there for Montreal, a big signing for the impact as they got Man Yama from Tottenham.
This one down, the near side line is it's possessed with Jorge Corrales.
Corrales plays it up ahead to Rome.
Kyoto and Kyoto will not win the throne as it's given to Olympia.
Let's see the shuts for a penalty earlier on the previous play or it might have been a now was outside the box if it was to be called a fell and I could see where the arguments were coming from on the side of Olympia, but nothing given it would have been a free kick right outside the box.
The contact definitely occurred before Castillo entered the penalty area, or 1/2 hour into this one CONCACAF Champions League first leg action in the quarterfinal round.
It's now in the middle of the pitch with Wanyama.
Wanyama plays it out wide for Joe Waterman.
Montreal Trying to get the equalizer, this one now up ahead as its on the feet of horny Kerala's Kerala's plays it back for saw fear Tighter now p et up ahead that pass intercepted in Olympia.
Have it back in possession.
Thank you, Nick, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate a Nick.
Glad to have you here on SportsCastr.
Hope you're having a wonderful Tuesday night.
And, yeah, thanks for stopping by.
I greatly appreciate it.
The Montreal Impact and Olympia in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal round.
I really wanted to commentate the Champions League, one of the two Champions League games earlier.
Well, I taught them in Leipzig so when I would have done.
But I was commentating my high school's girls basketball team, who won their state's semifinal match up and are moving on to the state finals on Saturday.
First time they've ever gotten that far.
So exciting times there It was definitely worth it over a twister state.
But I got back not too long ago and we got CONCACAF Champions League now, so I'm able to call it, but I will be on for you.
UEFA Champions League.
Tomorrow I'll be on from Liverpool. Athletico Madrid.
That should definitely be an interesting matchup with Atletico Madrid up one of nothing hadn't heading into the second leg and thank you for the tip.
Sadly, greatly appreciated.
Victor Wanyama over four.
Jorge Corrales Corrales Back in the middle with one young.
Now it's Tidier, tied there up ahead, and now it's played back right around midfield.
Lot of passing the ball around here for Montreal, but no opportunities have been produced out of all the possession so far.
See if that changes anytime soon.
It's with Louis Banks, beings towards the sideline as he finds Kerala's Kerala's back for banks.
Banks, now moving his way upfield, takes it towards the corner flag, tries to send it across.
And that's a wasted ball there as it goes behind the goal out of play in Olympia Gold Kit Coming up Binks, kind of just pinning himself there in the corner, just kind of forced himself into that tough situation.
By the way, Barrios is the backup goalkeeper for Olympia, who has come into the game about 15 minutes ago as many Varda, the starter, went out with an injury.
Looks like a hamstring injury. Perhaps.
So a limpy already forced to use one substitution.
And now a foul is gonna be called.
And Wanyama is also going to be given a yellow card.
Well, there hasn't been many fellas committed so far, but the 1st 1 in a while will be deserving of a yellow card.
So Victor von Yama has to be careful for the rest of this one.
Let's see the reef light here.
I mean, he definitely went through Ah, went through the back of Jorge Bank.
I mean, it's that it's definitely a hard foul there.
Isn't that for a yellow? Possibly.
Gucci seems to be in quite a bit of pain here.
I mean, I I see where where the referee, uh is is deciding to give him a yellow card.
You can see both sides of the argument, but honestly, I don't disagree too much with It was a hard foul from behind by Wanyama as thank you, Jane, for joining the broadcast.
You're on, SportsCastr.
Glad to have you here.
Appreciate you tuning in now.
The 35th minute Olympia are the ones in the lead.
One to nothing the score as Ben Gucci will hobble over to the sideline.
You don't seem to be all right, though, Quickly get some fluids in him and his back out there for Olympia.
Now, this one at the edge of the area.
Getting ahead to that one with Samuel P.
ETS and a free kick will be given to the impact.
All right, so Montreal take it quickly as we resume play.
So near side with Kerala's Kerala's back to the center back Rod Fanni, this one now played out lights of Wanyama.
One. Yama was already on the yellow card.
Keep that in mind.
Thank you so much, everyone for being part of tonight's broadcast as it's now in the midfield for Montreal and that one will be taken away by Olympia.
Can they keep it in play? Yes, they can, as that one is advanced up the sideline, but Montreal recover, and they have it back in possession, All right, it's now played by Louis Banks as he gets it to the feet of Rommel.
The possession, by the way, in favor of the impact, 60 to 38%.
The problem for Montreal is they've barely been able to create any chances whatsoever as this one's now possessed on the far sideline.
It's now with tighter who loses it but nicely done as he wins it right back tighter into the middle of the pitch.
This one played back for Rod Fanni Fanny with the ball over the top.
He's looking for Kyoto, and that one will go out of play for a corner. Kick my butt.
He was looking for a rooty, and Rudi does win the corner kick.
So the impact with a really good opportunity here, they haven't had many of them.
Let's see if they can take advantage of it.
It will be a right footed outswinger here, delivered into the box.
It's a good ball, but the headers over the crossbar.
Fanny was the one who got on the end of that service but couldn't get any control on it and a goal kick for Olympia, So Barrios will take the goal.
Olympia Lead Montreal There are some diehard Olympia fans who have made the trek up north way up north from Central America to Canada for this one.
Or maybe some fans of Olympia do live in the Montreal area.
That's definitely a possibility.
Bankston called for the foul.
I'll be honest to you.
I am was completely forgot about Banks.
And I'm a Revolution fan myself.
And he was a designated player.
Was supposed to be the real deal.
Only scored four goals.
I believe in his two seasons with the Rebs, and I completely forgot about him.
But he's now playing with Olympia in his native country, Honduras, and he's got the first goal in this game so good to see him having some success elsewhere as the end.
Less just never worked out for him, this one now played along the sideline.
Now it's in the middle of the field with on Yama, and that is a foul committed here.
And a free kick is going to be given.
Thank you, Kevin, for joining the broadcast.
Glad to have you here.
I appreciate you joining in here on SportsCastr things, perhaps getting a little bit shipping here as the whistle is blown on.
It's the right center made for this or no, Rather.
Yeah, the right center made for this.
Ah, Went be a team.
Yeah, Nothing to vicious.
They're just going through on the tackle collision.
The knees, it looked like.
So now the free kick will take place from right along the sideline.
It will be sent into the box by either some fear tighter or Maximiliano Urruti.
Montreal Gun numbers in the box.
40th minute here as the crowd is raising the noise levels.
Now, the referee will hold things here and talk to the players in the box, making sure they behave.
And thank you, Briana for joining.
I appreciate that.
Oh, rooty with the cross sent in Olympic ahead to its outside the box, and that volley didn't generate too much power on the effort from Samuel P. ET.
Here come Olympia.
On the break, the header played to Ben Boucher.
Ben Boucher, with a nice movies wide open into the box, spent DOJ with a shot.
He goes far coast, and it's into the back of the net and go Allah be it double the lead in the 41st minute of this 2020 she CONCACAF Champions League quarter final encounter.
It's Montreal nil Olympia, too, and the few fans in attendance that are Olympia fans are celebrating like crazy.
What a huge goal.
It went from a free kick off for two young one and for Montreal as they had all numbers up Olympia punishing them on the counter attack in a great touch from and Gucci put him one on one with the Montreal goalkeeper and Clementi up in a beautiful finish from Ben Goucher as he went far posed bottom right corner.
And things are not looking pretty here for the impact, as it's, too.
Waigel's given up, and they find themselves down by two in the first leg.
A beautiful finish, though, when you got to give credit to Olympia just quickly the other way in transition, they get on the board.
And, yes, they're the only team remaining in the tournament from outside of MLS and league I'm ex, but they're a team that can play, and they're showing us just that tonight.
41st minute is when the gold came from Ben Gucci, a Montreal with a lot of work to do.
Now let's see how they respond after another goal conceded, and that cross from Marucci is blocked.
And now here come Olympia.
Once again, this ballpoint over the top Jerry Banks and on the end of it one on one with Fanny along the sideline.
Bankston will hold things up for Olympia.
You now plays it back Olympia.
With the momentum at this point up to nil in the first half is that past If Lex bouncing in the air and controlled by Olympia.
This small plate over the top back tow headed the other way is Louis Banks.
Montreal went throwing Arushi, looking to take it quickly.
Play it back towards midfield.
43rd minute here on SportsCastr.
I'm sure they'll add a substantial amount of time because of the injury earlier in the half to this starting goalkeeper of Olympia Menjivar, who ultimately had to come out.
They had their back up in, but he really hasn't been tested that much at all.
From this impact side.
Nice sliding tackle.
There is a Richie wins possession.
It's now played out wide for Jorge Kerala's This wall popped in the air, chicken down nicely by Kerala's.
Now it's Victor Wanyama.
Wanyama to the edge of the box, says he finds Rome L.
Kyoto, Kyoto, trying to get a shot off but unable to do so.
Disciplined defense, thereby Olympia as they have it back in possession, although a clean tackle there that through ball is blocked on the sliding challenge.
Montreal have it the edge of the area, though.
Olympia when it right back, bodies flying left and right at the edge of the 18 in a man down for Olympia as play has stopped.
And that player down is Davey Florence in the middle.
Official tonight is asking, Ah, the athletic trainers, the athletic personnel to bring the stretcher out.
He's clearly in quite a bit of discomfort here.
What a first half performance so far from Olympia.
Right now, the concern for them is the man down in floors.
Oh, yeah, he got stepped on there.
That one is gonna staying. My goodness.
So they have the stretcher out.
Let's see if they'll have to utilize it.
Unfortunately, that might be the case.
Let's see a better look at this one.
Yes, it was a clean tackle originally from P ET.
Then he got up, and we're not gonna get to see the rest of the replay.
Great job, Fox Sports.
Oh, well, but I will let you stomped on the and he will walk off on his own power out of bounds and there will be a minimum of four minutes of stoppage time here added on to the end of the first half.
That is predictable considering what happened earlier in the half with that injury as I mentioned, so we drop all.
Olympia will have it in possession.
This one's played up Adam.
It feel it's given a right back to Montreal as Victor Wanyama has it.
Wanyama with speed, plays it towards the sideline with Kerala's Kerala's back in the middle.
But a poor first touch from Kyoto gives it back to Olympia.
And now with the ball for Olympia is Carlos Pineda.
Pineda, though, gives it away.
Here come the impact the other way.
It's Tiger towards the far sideline.
It's now played up ahead of Ruchi into the box.
That last touch was a little too far out in front, but ultimately he does win a corner kick.
Can the impact cut the Olympia lead and 1/2 before the second half gets underway? It's a corner kick opportunity or a right footed outswinger.
It's a good ball sent in the header and now this ball still in play, but back in time to make the same as Barrios.
Nicely done by Barrios to recover from his original mistake.
Nearly caught in no man's land there but got back in position to make the play.
Now it's back with PF pf up ahead to Wanyama Wanyama.
Nice ball over the top.
It's now on the right flank with the Ruchi.
Here is Wanyama Wanyama towards the near side line as he connects with Jorge Corrales.
Kerala's up ahead and in control is tight or tighter in the box. Here is Victor Wanyama.
He plays across, maybe had an opportunity to go for gold, but decided Thio, take the unselfish route.
No one was on the doorstep, though.
Here's another opportunity that Arushi trying get across in, but a great sliding tackle there from a limpias left center back.
Johnny Lever on.
What's going on? Karam.
Glad to have you here, man.
Yes, the Celtics are beating up on the Pacers.
Good thing it's about time they get their act together.
Yep, here is Wanyama.
Nice turnaround move. He finds Corrales.
Corrales, with the ball in the air, played into the 18 but it's cleared away by Olympia.
Have it back in possession, though throughball not gonna connect there one minutes ago until halftime.
This Nova Samuel P.
Et Ruchi The one touch passed back for Joe Waterman.
Thank you so much, everyone for joining me tonight here on the stream for some CONCACAF Champions League action as it's now possessed by charter, in fact, moving the ball around fluently here.
But there's been a lack of scoring chances.
That's been the issue for them as they're down two to nothing.
Now it's played out wide by Tiger cider.
We'll send in the box.
The other one, though by Olympia.
It's not cleared out.
The Waterman's there for Montreal, perhaps one last chance before both teams head to the locker room.
A nice move into the box, but that's gonna be a foul on Montreal.
And that should just about do it for the first half of frustrating 1st 45 minutes for the in fact, and the whistle does blow as we're at halftime.
The score after 45 minutes of play, the Montreal impact nil Olympia to it's not looking good for the impact right now to a Waigel's conceded in this quarterfinal first leg match up in the CONCACAF Champions League.
Montreal of the MLS down by two to Olympia of Honduras.
I'll be back for the halftime report in a moment. Stay tuned.
The in fact, a lot of work to do.
I'll discuss what they need to do in the moment.
So keep it right here. Everybody.
Thanks for tuning in on this Tuesday night.
Welcome back, everybody.
How about Major League Soccer action? It's excusing.
On Saturday at 2:30 p.
Eastern time, it's Inter Miami facing off against the L.
That should be a heck of a game Saturday afternoon and some animal s action.
The focusing back to this game between Olympia in Montreal, Olympia looks like it might have.
Ah, they were gonna be in for a long night, perhaps, is they're starting goalie on injured just 15 minutes in.
They put their bad.
They had to put their backup barrios and excuse me.
But then, about a minute after that, Bankston, the former Revolution player, put Olympia in the lead on a breakaway opportunity and then another counter attack chance for Olympia.
A great move by Ben Gucci, and he slaughtered that one bottom right corner and the two forwards for Olympia tonight have both got on the scoresheet for them to a Waigel's as well to know the score line at halftime of the first leg in this quarterfinal matchup of the 2020 countries champions.
Lee coming up next, I will give you a preview of the other quarterfinal matches across the CONCACAF champions.
They give you a clue.
There's some really intriguing matchups that are absolutely spectacular match ups when you look at the above the MLS and legal MX teams facing off against each other, so I will talk all about it after this quick break.
So keep it right here on SportsCastr.
Thanks so much for joining me.
Everyone all right, Welcome back, Everybody in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.
First leg action Montrone, Back down to Nell to Olympia of Honduras.
Let's take a look at the coffee CAF Champions League bracket Shally Maura Quarterfinal action Tomorrow when Atlanta United Excuse Me plays America and then ah, the winner of that will face the winner of Cruz Azul, an LFC who play on Thursday, and why CFC will also face, Teague says tomorrow night.
The winner of that matchup we'll face.
Excuse me, The winner of this match up between the Montreal in fact, and Olympia.
And so these are just a lot of intriguing matchups.
And why CFC auntie does that action be in saying America against Atalanta as well? That's the one I'm most looking forward to groom America against Atlanta United.
That's gonna be a lot of star power out there, folks.
Late night tomorrow and then to wrap up the week of CONCACAF Champions League action on Thursday at 10:30 p.
It's L A F c taking on Cruz Azul.
Another great match up.
So much to look forward to in the next two days as it's three matchups between U. S.
And Mexican clubs.
But we've still got this game to look forward to.
The second half kickoff is next.
It's Olympia to Montreal Nil.
The final 45 is upcoming in a manner of a moment, so keep it right here.
I'm back for that state.
Tuned, everybody, Thanks so much for joining me tonight on SportsCastr.
All right, everybody, I am back here As we get ready to start the second half, I know, Graham.
I was just washing it, actually, during halftime of this game and ridiculous math.
I can't believe it.
Right when I thought the Celtics had the wind, they just choke a lead.
Yeah, that's in the final minutes.
So I'm keeping an eye on that one, for sure.
But anyways, Olympia will definitely be happy with the first half.
They put on display up to nothing to illegals, Most importantly, and so it now puts them in a really good position.
Although let's see what Montreal can do in the second half.
First half stats for you. The total shots. 3 to 2.
Olympia corners, two to nothing.
Montreal fouls 75 Olympia the possession, though right around 75 to 25% in favor of Montreal.
That's really what stands out.
I mean, Montreal have had the majority of the possession, but they have just been unable to find the back of the net and really create chances in general, to be quite honest with you right back before we start the second half votes.
Sorry about that, but yeah, we'll see if Victor Wanyama who they just got from taught them can can make a spark.
I couldn't get a spark in this.
Ah, Montreal team and the impact are gonna make a substitution.
Just start the second half a cz.
Well, it will be on Quantico coming in, Quantico is in.
And I'll let you know who came out as soon as I find that out.
Appreciate all of you being part of the broadcast as we are ready for the final 45 minutes of play from Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec.
All right, so the impact with quite a bit of work to do here and so they haven't at the back.
So it was Brody are coming off for on Quantico.
All right, so that's Montreal's first substitution of the night.
I'm sure that won't be the only one as the second half progresses.
So when we have a throwing deep in their own territory, remember Olympia were down to the Seattle Sounders two to nothing and came back.
Now they're the ones with the lead.
Montreal We're up to nothing and blew it to think to nothing.
Lead so interesting.
Ah, how it's all playing out.
The impact by the way.
Do not have an MLS game this weekend, interestingly enough, and I want a shot from outside the box.
Then it's into the back of the neck.
The Montreal impact cut the Olympia leading nap in the 47 minutes.
Montreal one Olympia to just a stunner of a strike from Way far out.
It's a beautiful goal off the bounce, and that is a world class finish right there, folks.
The header played up ahead and then doing the rest.
There is tied air as he just finishes an absolute stunner.
No way Barrios was getting to that one.
Whether he's the backup or not.
No goalie would get to that one hop of top notch goal right there from from Tai.
What a finish Right there. My goodness.
Still not getting over that goal.
2 to 1, and we've got ourselves a game from Olympic Stadium, folks.
Montreal now the ones with Mo mentum.
That's exactly the gold they needed two minutes after two minutes after halftime in Tide Air with an absolute stunner right under the crossbar as he roof tit from way outside the penalty box.
Jerry honoree fired up about it, and so is the whole Montreal bench and the fans in attendance.
It's a close one. I got it on right next to me as well.
The Celtics CF coming down to the wire.
48 minute Here they're currently on commercial.
Break the Celtics.
The impact haven't in midfield with this Fanny.
Fanny finds Wanyama Wanyama to the far sideline as he gets it.
The Jorge Kerala's the impact.
Suddenly, with some life in them.
Maybe that first goal is all they needed to open things up.
My small point over the top down the sidelines gonna be kept in play.
Yes, it is a great effort by on Kwan quo.
And now it's played in the box right around the penalty spot.
It's popped up into the air.
In the area was Rome.
L. Kyoto for Montreal.
The Celtics currently are Ah, up by one with 7.
Wow, my goodness.
And suddenly the fans can be heard much louder than they were before, That's for sure.
And so Kyoto plays it up ahead and a nice job by Barrios coming off his line and making the save as we're getting it on the end of that one was four day Kerala's left midfielder.
It's all and back to start the second half.
Re fired up on the sideline, in the tensions running high.
And now a foul is going to be calm.
Bankston, the one who went down it's against Wanyama was already on the yellow card, so he will have to be careful for the rest of this one.
Well, clip on banks and from behind in Olympia on the attack.
That cross will be sent in after it went over the online and Ah, Jorge Ben.
She definitely didn't agree with that call.
Well, we resume play the impact from their own end.
Advanced the ball up to midfield.
Here is Arushi Marucci, a nice through ball on the end of his own in Quogue.
Whoa! And that cross goes right into the hands of barrios.
No problem for him on that occasion now would be a from their own half of the field.
Turning the corner is that when Castillo Castillo accelerating down the sideline a nice through ball on site here and now the cross is blocked.
Their of big time defensive play by the center Baccarat Fanny.
Now here is Samuel P ET.
His passes deflected, but it goes right back to him.
Olympia now have possession.
This ball clocked in the air.
It's now taken down.
You do? Oh, yes, the Celtics got the wind.
Well, that's big.
That's big for them.
A man down for Olympia, This ballpoint over the top, standing down by the chest of Ben Boucher.
He had no supporting cast, though.
Montreal have it back.
And now play will be stopped as there is.
Ah, man down for Olympia.
Some booze raining down from the fans in attendance.
Let's see what happened here.
You took a quick to the chest area that could have easily been a foul called on Wanyama.
Yeah, his foot was away up there, clean to the rib.
That's never too comfortable.
They have the stretcher out there, just in case that's needed 53rd minute.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, that was a nasty looking there.
And the stretcher won't be needed.
Things definitely getting chippy as the emotions are running high.
Second half getting underway not too long ago.
The Montreal impact Getting a goal right off the bat to start the second half.
All right, so we drop all we resumed flight Montreal in possession.
All right, you're a Samuel P ET That ball nearly lost for the impact, but they still have it in control.
Hi there to the end of the box with the Ruchi.
What? Olympia Win it back.
That pass, though, is taken away by the impact.
Montreal have it back in control.
Off the sideline, it goes, Is that connects with on corn Kuo.
His cross, though, is so no one in particular.
And now a little slip on the far sideline laundry.
I'll have it back.
Here's a Kwan quo with it at the edge of the area.
A Kwan quo into the box.
He goes down, but a clean tackle their nice defense.
And now with it is Matias Garrido Garrido with the ball over the top.
And to play it safe, Fanny will just send it over the end line.
A corner kick, though, is coming up for Olympia as they like to retake the two goal lead that they had after halftime.
So this is just the first court corner kick of the night for Olympia, interestingly enough, and so let's see what Olympia can do with it 10 plus minutes into the second half of flight.
It's gonna be a right footed in swinger here, right? Here we go.
And that is no problem as it goes right into the hands of Clementi up.
Yup, We'll roll it out to Louis Banks.
Banks out wide as he finds Victor Wanyama.
Thank you so much, everyone for being a part of tonight's broadcast.
I greatly appreciate the support Good ball point over the top kind of Quantico.
Get on the end of it.
Yes, he cared about a great sliding tackle from behind, and a goal kick has been given, Interestingly enough, want to tackle from behind by German Mattia, you know, clean, but I thought it would be a corner kick.
Terry on re thought the same.
Interestingly enough, though, it's going to be a goal kick coming up.
And now Ruchi is coming off for Montreal.
Jackson Hamel will enter the game, so Jackson Hamel into the match.
That's the second substitution of the night from teary on ****.
All right, now it's at the edge of the area.
It's with Victor Wanyama.
The fans want more From Montreal, down by a goal here in the first leg of the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal round, there's a battle going on the sideline, a little bit of pushing and shoving there between Tide air and no idea.
And now another man down off the bull from for Olympia.
Let's see what happened here.
Oh, yeah, an elbow to the ER, to the face there, still unsure who the player is? That's down for Olympia, but it's definitely becoming a physical, more, more physical game by the minute.
I think that's a fair statement.
And it is, um, I believe that is Is that when Castillo know it is Matias Garrido? Garrido's the one down for Olympia.
You want Wanyama's on yellow card and he was involved in that incident.
He is definitely, um, on the hot seat.
He's got to be careful, that's for sure.
You hope the Rockets losing it will be hilarious.
Yeah, yeah, Good thing the Celtics came out the victory corrupt by three.
She's that was way closer than it should have been at the end, but at least they got the win.
Yeah, and that's gonna be off of Olympia, Montreal throwing as it deflected off the foot of Jerry Bankston.
We're at the hour mark.
60 minutes in 30 to go.
It's Montreal one Olympia, too.
First leg, Remember? Second leg will be next week down in Honduras.
CONCACAF Champions League action continues tomorrow in N Y.

That one another one shortly trying to tie things up at two apiece.
It's now it's on Kwan quo, this ball sailing in the air.
Barrios is there to grab that one, Jackson Hammond was looking to make that run towards the back post.

But we'll let you have it.
A strike from outside the box that's well, wide.
In the end, he was Edwin Castillo firing one in on goal.
Not quite what he was looking for, though it's now on Quantico who found the ball lot since coming in as a substitute.
That passed, though, is connected.
Originally, Thio severe, tighter but is knocked off the ball.
Olympia, looking for 1/3 a legal of their own and thinks was there for the impact.
Here's me. Intercept that pass.
It's a good pass up ahead.
Oh, Joe! On the end of it, Kyoto towards the sideline.
Well, now switch fields.
It's on your side with Waterman Waterman with Anquan Quo quo Uncle Back to Waterman.
Waterman is gonna send it in the mix.

It's right outside the box and a yellow cord is gonna be given as well.
It's Johnny Lever on committing the foul.
He's the first player to be booked on Olympia as well.
It's a dangerous opportunity of Montreal in a great position.
It was no doubt a foul, too, and I agree with the yellow card as well.
All right, so here we go, fans raising the noise level, you're on SportsCastr.
And so we're in the 71st minute, this ball literally a yard outside the box.
So let's see who's gonna take it.
Olympio ISS four on the wall And so here we go.
The referee taking a while here to get things going.
All right, the whistle blows.
Here's the free cake.
It's Ah, knuckleball there with a lot of power, but it sells over the crossbar on the effort from Tai.
There he was looking for gold number two on the night but unable to get it really a wasted opportunity for Montreal.
It's about as good of a free kick that your opportunity that you're going to get in now Montreal will use their last substitution tonight.
Here in the 72nd minute, it's gonna be Kyoto coming off in ta block entering the game.
So, Tom, we're coming in.
Let's see if he can make an impact off the bench for the impact.
You see what I did there? We'll see if you can make an impact for the in vex 72nd minute, throwing coming up Waterman to take it.
This one up the sideline and Montreal have it back in possession.
Although they give it away.
As that pass from Hamel, Jackson goes out of bounds.
And now, huh, Man, suddenly down for Olympia Booze coming down from the fans as this definitely seems to be a Oh, he's magically better.
He has to go off here.
If you go down, you gotta go out.
Yeah, they're gonna make him go off.
You hear the one down? That's ridiculous.
It's no time for soccer.
And what do you mean what he means.
No time for soccer.
And my goodness, what an awkward situation there as the off came out of his blocks, quickly realized he couldn't use his hands and just headed it out of bounds stores a sideline.
I guess that works.
LMP are definitely gonna be slowing things down.
Trying to waste time to get the victory in the first leg, eh? NBA playoff push March Man is coming up as well. Yeah.
Oh, what a ball played.
Throw it in the back of that.
But the flag goes up, offside called and ah, it was Jerry Bankston, nearly with his second goal of the night, but clearly in offside position there.
No denying that one.
Yeah, I know Koran.
I'll be commentating a lot of March madness along with the N B A playoffs once that comes around, but it's also time for soccer.
We got Champions League action.
It's good as it gets both You ate the Champions League and CONCACAF Champions League mid week, just some great matches all around, as it's the 75th minute here on SportsCastr.
March Madness starts a week from tonight with the 1st 4 So, yeah, I'll be calling plenty of March Madness.
That will be a fun time.
And then, of course, once the NHL playoffs come around to be doing or any MBA and NHL playoffs, for that matter, I'll be doing a lot of that.
Kerala's why, as one Yama finds on Quantico, Quan qua well, hold things up.
Plays it back to Wanyama.
Montreal Still looking for the Allies or 15 minutes remaining plus stoppage time as this one will be played to the far side.
It's well played.
It's near the corner, flag cross sent in and the header there is one.
By Elvin Olivia Final quarter hour.
In this one great game, this has been Oh, well, ****nal Man City.
Tomorrow has been postponed.
Wow, interesting Ought to look into that shorts about the Corona virus or, I assume so fly about the You wait for Champions League second like fixtures in the round of 16 are being played in empty stadiums.
That is a real concern.
The Corona virus and it's here in America as well.
Unfortunately, 76 minutes.
Nice acceleration from Balu.
Ah, Luca keeps it in play.
A good bull sent in the header is wide.
Oh, my goodness.
At the edge of the 60 yard box, the opportunity was there, but unable to find the back of that there was him. L Jackson.
Oh, golden opportunity.
He will want that one back.
I'll tell you that right now.
Yeah, not even close.
In the end, he was allied open, unmarked.
That was the chance right there for Montreal to try to tie things up.
Unable to capitalize, though.
Won't takes a deflection out of his box.
To clear it out is barrios Don't go out of bounds on the far sideline and impact throwing will quickly be taken time.
Not on Montreal Side they go.
The speed things up.
F c are in action against Cruz Azul.
That will take place Thursday night at 10:30 p.
m. Eastern Zahn.
That's just one of three other quarterfinal matchups to look forward to as the week rolls on.

I don't know how good I'm doing, but I appreciate it, man.
Thanks for stopping by Perry.
And you guys keep doing a great job as well at the Unwrap Sports Network.
I love all the contents you guys provide and yeah, I appreciate I appreciate you stopping in, man.
I appreciate it, man.
Olympia leading Montreal 78 minutes in this first leg quarter final encounter in the CONCACAF Champions League.
Yeah, no problem.
And thanks for the thumbs up, Harry.
Thank you very much.
Ran so the throne will be taking on the near side line by Matias Garrido.
It's now day before us, Olympia.
Just trying to keep possession at this point.
And that's Ah, high boot.
But it doesn't matter, cause offside was called before that as the air on the far side had his flag up in Montreal.
Quickly resume play 79th minute.
Coming down the wire here.
It's now with Victor Wanyama.
Wanyama ball over the top Couldn't quite get it.
Two on Kwan quo.
And now play will be stopped as it looks like we have a substitution or doing No.
Okay, well, there there was a little bit confusing that there was originally an offside flag.
So that's what's the what the call is.
So it will be an Olympia free kick as offside was actually called on laundry.
All my apologies.
Final 10 minutes plus stoppage time remaining as this will be headed out of bounds by Rod Fanni Throwing put in play by Garrido Garrido's passes block but he hasn't right back in a battle with Waterton And now a free kick will begin.
Waterman Excuse me. Not Waterton.
Well anyways, Waterman wins the free kick.
Montreal quickly reverse fields as they take it to the far side.
All right, ta block into the box looking to get a shot off.
Probably held onto it a little bit too long.
There is He had options in the box, but kept the ball himself.
Now the vast break your ***, Olympia.
But a great defense sieves take away their bye bye Rod Fanni Big time! He's been solid at centre back tonight.
Family now has it for the impact right at midfield, fanning out what it's now putting up the sideline.
Good Cross sent in Barrios with the punch and that one goes right to forests.
This one down near side Jackson Ml was at the edge of the area in Quantico.
Wins the throwing for the impact with Joel Waterman Waterman back for Fanny the second minute.
Now Waterman up ahead, the crosses sent in the header is just lied.
They're claiming for Angelo.
It's given a penalty kick for Montreal.
Oh my goodness, Olympia are absolutely furious about the decision and the impact now, having operate shooting that's high, this game up put in a dangerous area, and sometimes you get rewarded as the header was sent in by Jackson Ml and yeah, yes, it was close proximity.
To be fair but wasn't in the natural.
Wasn't an unnatural position, is the question of the day.
Olympia are still arguing about this.
A lot of pushing and shoving going on and chaos ensuing on the pitch.
Both teams trying to figure out what is going on.
The referee, The middle of fish, the center referee in the ah, one of the A.
Ours is discussing it and now they say no penalty kick.
Is that the decision? Yeah, it's been taken away now, a lot of pushing and shoving things getting chippy.
Wow, let's see the replay.
I don't know that that his arm was out like this.
I don't know, man.
Controversial final minutes at Olympic Stadium Cheery on re asking for an answer.
They changed their mind and the fans letting their frustration b be heard will be a corner because it was off of Olympia.
So very interesting.
Few minutes there.
Originally a penalty kick was given.
And then there was a discussion with the AI R.
And it was called off.
Nova are in the CONCACAF Champions League is this is a good cross sent in the head.
Or though is wide Montreal claiming that it should be a corner kick.
But that's not gonna be the case.
The final minutes of this one wow controversial ending here in Montreal and now Olympia will elect to use their just second substitution.
They were forced to use their 1st 1 in the first half when their goalie went down with an injury.
It'll be Pinto coming in for Garrido.
So, Pito coming in and looking back, I don't know, it was very close.
It's very, very close.
I don't know what made them overturn it, though, because the arm wasn't an unnatural position.
I think I don't know.
I don't know. It's close now.
A shot from outside the box takes reflection and sales over the end line, and it's a corner kick coming up.
I should start working for the Celtics.
That would be pretty cool if I got that opportunity.
Yeah, I wish, man.
Probably a little bit too young for that, but and I'll be a dream job on Line two.
The the play by play announcer for the Celtics on NBC Sports Boston That would be a real privilege.
We're just another job in general, working for the Celtics would be pretty cool.
Sideline reporter, whatever.
Still got a long ways to go Children.
And now, Ah, foul committed.
It's definitely getting dirty out there.
Montreal Looking the reason. Play quickly.
The in fact is they bring the ball up the field holding up play here is Joe Waterman time running out here for Montreal.
Your former high school friend works for the Mavs like doing laundry and other things. That's awesome.
Yeah, that's great, man.
That must be cool.
Working for an MBA team.
I'm sure that's a great experience for him.
This will now be booted out of bounds.
It will be a throwing quickly Chicken by the inn.
Back back! It goes for Joel Waterman.
Waterman finds Fanny Fanny up the sideline for Anquan Kuo.
Nice through ball in Quantico, into the box.
The crosses block not fall into the air and it will head out of bounds.
A quarter kick for Montreal.
Is this the chance to try it up? It definitely looks like it.
It will be a right footed out slinger delivered by Jackson Hammel.
And now it's outside the area into the box, trickling through and saving that one inside the six down on all fours.
Therefore, Olympia, I believe, was Johnny later on the impact giving everything.
They've got tied air into the box, this one headed in the air.
But that one is taken away by Olympia Olympia now looking to clear a great challenge, though Jackson Hemel wins it back.
And now the head of the boxes over the crossbar.
A man goes down for Montreal tighter got absolutely taken out.
The impact we're claiming for a penalty Big to be called.
But that was not given.
And Olympia is Ah, German Mecca is also down 40 m b A.
Wow, That was a great ball sent in by Jackson Ml.
That was never gonna be a penalty.
It was a hard fall from side air.
He went flying as he went up for its 90th minute.
As we approach stoppage time, I'll let you know how much will be added very shortly when I find that out.
All right, so the goal kick will be taken by Barrios and now a substitution will be made by Olympia.
Their final one of the match and coming off will be met.
Hiya, he'll be in no Rush Tau, get to the sideline.
It will be can yet say entering the match.
So no more substitution is for either side.
For the remainder of this one in, we'll have a minimum of six minutes of stoppage time.
You heard me right? Six minutes.
Montreal Quickly put in play Wanyama with the ball.
It's now over the top foreign kwong quo that's cleared out towards the near side line launch area looking to quickly take the throwing.
It will be hi there to take it or no, he'll leave it for his teammate Waterman.
Still plenty of time left with the ah stoppage time being six minutes now lifting in the crosses side there.
I'm trying to bring it down.
He does so and you're firing a shot that's blocked by the head of ah Con Yetta.
You just came into the match.
It's now Victor Wanyama with it side air.
I had it poked away.
Although Montreal haven't back in possession, giving it everything, they've got to try to get the equalizer.
Big tackle from behind in a man to turn for Olympia Barrios will eventually pick this one up as closing in Waas side there.
92nd minute here.
If Montreal If this result where the hold, I should say Montreal would head into the second leg needing to win by two, which will not be easy down in Olympia, they would all be it will to nothing.
Or they could get a 21 win which would force penalty kicks since the aggregate.
And the and Waigel score would be even still not gonna be easy for the impact down in Honduras.
That's why these final minutes are crucial for them here.
This one, all the way back from Louis Banks thinks will play along how to play the in fact, looking a throat and quickly Oh, no.
They're gonna give it the throwing of Olympia Wow, tied there, clearly infuriated by that decision.
Another give back to Montreal.
Okay, it's now Waterman, and that's a wasted ball, as that goes well across well above the crossbar and out of play.
And now Olympia will take time on the gold kick.
We're halfway through stoppage time.
Three out of the six minutes have been played in additional time.
Here added on to the end of the second half.
Now this one stolen by on Kwan Kuo on Quantico, trying to play it through what Olympia comes out with possession.
This one now up ahead for Flores for us, plays it along for Banks, then Banks Finn into the box Olympic and another one point across.
But no one at the back post.
A little late to it was Pinto.
He got there a second split second late that could have easily been 31 Olympia.
Now Montreal quickly the other way, this one over the top.
Barrios outside of his blocks will boot this one high into the air travels out of play.
The in fact, quickly Throw it in.
It's now if Pierre Pierre into the middle, it's tied air to the near side Montreal in desperation mode.
At this point, this one played back for piano and now that shot is blocked.
They were claiming for a penalty.
Nothing's gonna be given 90 seconds less than that.
Now remaining Anabel gets it over to four Wanyama, Both teams fighting to win the possession.
The impact still have it now on Quantico accelerating the cross sent in and the shot near post is lied from p et, But he does win the quarter kick as it looked like can yet they gotta touch on it under a minute to go in.
This one will want a chance of the tail end for Montreal.
Ah, golden opportunity here it will be on Quantico to take the free kick.
And now, of course, the man down for Olympia, that is Carlos Pineda.
Sure, they're allowed some more time at the end of this one.
It's like trainers come out.
Remember, Limpy are out of subs.
No, I mean that one.
Is gonna get you a little off guard.
He took that shot.
Square deal of base.
Not sure why the trainers are training.
Our ah, attending to his legs, though on the replay, clearly hit him in the face.
It might be something in issue entirely separate from that.
You will go off on a stretcher here.
All right, so Montreal, with a corner kick coming up, it will be a right footed outswinger.
Frumpy ET perhaps the last opportunity tonight that's back into the edge of the area.
They're trying to get the fall back into the box, and a free kick is given right outside on a chance here as down Lynch Tomba as she was taking out.
Yeah, that is a fell.
He was taken out there by, um, Montreal's looked like it was perhaps not sure who it waas owes.
Seventh minute of stoppage, Cyber Now and running in the 98th minute.
At this point, this definitely is the last chance of the game.
This will be it, folks.
The impact with a free kick right outside the boxes will be a huge goal for them.
If they can find the back of the net and get the equalizer heading into the second leg, we'll see who's gonna take it for a Montreal.
It's gonna take a while to set up, that's for sure.
The fans definitely trying to get behind their club.
Here we go as we were into the 98th minute, folks, there will be four on the wall for Olympia as Barrios is setting his wall up.
And here we go, and that's always a chance, and that is a badly misfired shot.
Not sure what that waas, quite frankly, on a wasted opportunity.
Foran Kwan Kuo trying to go under the wall.
But we'll let you Didn't fall for it.
And the final whistle blows and that does it from Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada.
The final score, The Montreal impact.
One Olympia, too.
Not the result. Montreal.
We're looking for at all after the first leg of this 2020 CONCACAF Champions League encounter, and it will be no easy task for the impact to come away with the victory in this two legged affair as they'll have Thio go down to Honduras in win by two.
Most of the most likely scenario that ah second leg will be next Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
Still, discussions going on from Montreal with the referees? Not sure, exactly.
Probably wondering about that penalty kick that was taken away from them.
But as I sign off remind the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal first, like action continues tomorrow.
m. Eastern time. It's N Y c F C against Egan.
It's then tomorrow and then, Ah, tomorrow at 10 30 it's a medica against Atlanta.
And then Thursday at 10 30 it's L A F C.
Against Cruz is also so many more CONCACAF Champions League games Look forward to as the week goes on, the final score this one.
Olympia to Montreal, one from myself, Samuel Reese.
That will do it for my broadcast.
So long, everyone.
