state Things, actually.
Just a couple things that I could think of.
Some foolishness, I guess that I've seen, um Well, first of all, shot it to you guys.
My son's over here playing with Plato, My dogs over here chewing on a bone.
I'm just chilling here.
Um, Okay, So first topic.
Actually, there's two things I want to bring up.
Antonio Brown to the Ravens.
I can't believe this is this is coming up again.
I cannot believe this is coming up again.
It's How many times have I said it would be a stupid idea.
Um, just speaking from experience, Okay? Because what I believe about Antonio Brown, I believe that Antonio Brown is mental.
He has mental health issues.
Okay, mental health problems.
And the issue is that no matter if you put Antonio Brown and select the closest knit locker room, if you put his cousin there with him, if he's if he has his whole family playing with him, it doesn't matter.
Dude, It does not matter.
I'm telling you, Coop Group okay, The only way the only way that Antonio Brown can play football again, in my opinion, or at least work in a team is if he gets the mental health help he needs.
Now, I know that it seems like he's turned into a leaf and everything.
Um, What's up, Chris? Thank you for joining, man.
You say just got here.
Is this an actual possibility? So the reason that that this came up, If I'm not mistaken, let me try to get a good angle here.
That's a little better.
The reason that this came up is because Antonio Brown himself, I think, posted on his instagram or something. Twitter, Facebook.
I'm not sure he was live on something and he said, Hey, Lemar, um and I'm paraphrasing here.
I don't remember exactly what he said, but he basically said, Let me play with my cousin.
Um, I really want to play with my cousin if you have room on the team.
So that's really where all this came from.
All this came back into the ER, you know, into the Ravens fans, Um, world, I guess I don't know what the proper term is.
But that's the reason why this has been speculation because Antonio Brown himself is the one that said that he wants to play for the Ravens, I guess.
Now again, going back to it and tell your Brown has mental health issues, in my opinion.
And the only way he's gonna be ready and he's gonna be able to come back is if he gets that help and he himself is gonna need to be the one that wants to get help him being surrounded by a close knit locker room, him being surrounded with his cousin.
It's not gonna make a difference.
It's not gonna make a difference.
I would love to have the talent of a B, but not the personality and mental side of him. Exactly.
Listen, if we're just talking, Antonio Brown is a player.
You would want him on the Ravens.
No doubt about it, because he even though he hasn't played, he was one of the top three easily wide receivers in the NFL, and some would even say the best wide receiver in the NFL.
Um, so, yeah, just as a talent, A B just as a talent on the field.
I think every any team would want Antonio Brown as a talent as a player, but you've got to think what it comes with.
You know, it's it's a lot of baggage.
It's a lot of baggage, and I don't think that throwing him into the locker room would be a good idea.
I just don't think it's a good idea whatsoever.
Um, I feel like, Yes, you could maybe do like what the Patriots did.
Just give him a chance.
And if he screws up, cut him.
Sure, I mean, if that's what the Ravens would want to do.
But see, I don't even think the reasons would do that.
I just feel like I don't know if it's different now with Eric DeCosta.
But it seems like, you know, ever since the whole Ray Rice situation, the Ravens just have not, you know, been been ah, been for second chances that much, you know, it doesn't feel like they've really been into giving second chances unless it's something minor, like the whole Marlon Humphrey things stealing that charger from the uber.
If you guys remember that, but yeah, if it's something major like like what a B and again, maybe he's just ah, diva wants attention is all it is.
So I don't know, man, but yeah, as a player, of course you would want him, but I just I do not want him on the team.
I just really don't e d c a smart.
He would only bring him in if he sees signs of improvement for Maybe he wouldn't want to bring in a cancer like him.
I completely agree again.
If a baby is meant is healed mentally, if he's done the work himself, if he's actually taking the time to work on himself as a person and mentally, you know, work on his mental health, then you can give him a chance.
Sure, why not? But you've got to think about it, man.
If the what have we seen from a beef pretty much throughout his career, at least until at least what he got paid.
If he doesn't get the ball, he complains, Dude, he complains about it, and I would just fear that if he was on the Ravens say he's completely squeaky clean.
Mentally has no mental health issues.
He's still a diva wide receiver, you know, and the thing is that this system that we run in Baltimore.
It's not meant to feed wide receivers like at all.
Last year we didn't Our top leading receiver was a tight end Mark Andrews.
So you gotta ask yourself, Would Antonio Brown be fine with thank you for the tip? By the way, would he be fine with, like, an 800 yard season at most? And even that's a lot in this system, you know? So I don't know, like, what if he has, like a game half that he doesn't get a reception.
You think he'll be fine with that? I don't think so.
He could bring a negative attention to Baltimore.
We don't need that.
That's another thing, man.
So it's It's just like a lot of factors that, in my opinion, I don't think it's worth it again.
If if if he's proven that mentally he's fine, he's healthy and everything.
Give him a chance, I guess.
But make it so he's easily credible.
Um, make it so he's easily cut herbal.
But for me, I'm just not a fan of this at all.
I don't like this idea of whatsoever.
I don't think it's a good idea.
Don't screw up what we got going on.
There's no reason to bring a be around this cousin.
I'm afraid that that that Hollywood will it'll rub off on him a little bit and he'll be like, You know what? I do need more receptions.
You know what? I do need more yards, and I just I don't like that idea at all.
A B and going anywhere, Maybe, I don't know, almost like the Josh Gordon situation.
And look how that turned out.
Gone against. Yeah.
I mean, you know, So there's that, Uh, yeah, for me.
I'm not a fan of it at all.
I would not like to see it happen.
I just think it's a stupid idea.
I really do think it's a stupid idea, and I'm not a fan of it.
I know a lot of Ravens fans, especially on Twitter, are I would really like to see it happen.
I definitely would not.
I don't think it's gonna It's I don't think it's a good idea whatsoever.
So, um, aside from that, I've also seen a lot of mock drafts saying that the Ravens will take DeAndre Swift, who is a running back in the first round.
And, um, that, to me is just it doesn't make sense.
I'm not going to say it's it's unrealistic because, to be honest with you, at this point, I have no idea who were planning on taking in the first and again.
It just It just so happens to have the board falls on that date.
Um, but right now, if I had to guess, I would say middle linebacker, edge or wide receiver would be the most likely.
Unless, of course, yonder retires.
Then maybe we will take an offensive lineman.
But yeah, I don't think it makes a lot of sense taking a running back as talented as DeAndre Swift is, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
It would kind of be like a head scratching pick, like, Why don't we? Why don't we take the Andre Swift like it makes no sense. I don't know.
Um, you know, I'm one of those people that just don't believe running backs necessarily matter too much.
So yeah, it's not It's not.
It's za pretty bad.
In my opinion, that swift **** is terrible.
Why would we ever take a running back in the 1st 1 We already have a solid committee of three.
That's pretty much what I'm saying.
So but, Yeah, guys, just a couple thoughts that I had and wanted to get out there tomorrow.
Guys, I'm gonna be going to the l A Wildcats game, so I doubt that any of you will be there, but, um Hey, I'll probably be doing a pre and postgame stream, Um, tomorrow.
So look out for that.
And yeah, I'm sure what will be continually talking about this whole a beat of the Ravens thing again.
Not a big fan of it, So I hope it doesn't happen, But all right, guys, thank you all so much for joining me tonight.
I will see you all next time.
