What's going on, everybody? It's your boy Ray in Welcome to my little show here called DPMNE Sports Talk Live here on SportsCastr.
The Future of Sports vlogging, The present of sports blogging.
What's crack a lacking world? Welcome to the show.
I got a busy one ahead of us.
I want to talk about how the Patriots will draft a quarterback in 2020 regardless of Tom Brady.
What about the Patriots wide receiver options after the Bangles franchise Green? Are the Patriots actually interested in quarterback Justin Herbert? There's a lot of different things going on here today, people.
And the biggest news coming out right now is could Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo trade places don't discount the 40 Niners buzz now, Normally, when I come on the show and I start off, I start off with all my own stuff that I've, you know, looked up research ready to talk about.
But this whole kind of rumor started really taken some heat tonight.
Didn't have time to prepare for it, so I got to kind of talk up the top of my head.
But could Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo trade places? That's the question that's being asked.
Apparently, reputable sources are saying There's a buzz.
It can't be true, right? Like when we think of the absolute reality of this case, when we look at this situation, when we look at everything about it, I mean, it makes perfect sense for the Patriots and makes zero sense for the San Francisco 40 Niners.
I don't understand what they're trying to accomplish.
If this is where they go to me, this can't be anything.
Maur, just the media running wild with some rumor that's just insane out of this world makes zero sense, and I read article after article after article tonight of people making this a thing.
I don't Tom Currents talking about it.
I know that Deon Sanders made mention of it at the combine, but it can't be riel.
It can't be riel like if you're a Patriots fan getting excited about this prospect, don't I know I was wrong with the whole Antonio Brown thing, and he did end up coming to the Patriots.
But I am wrong about this.
Why would the 40 Niners give up a franchise quarterback? That's what Jimmy Graham Polis is.
He a top three quarterback in the league? Probably not.
Is he better than Tom Brady right now? Maybe it's a 50 50.
Is Brady better in the playoffs? Absolutely.
But you're gonna give up a franchise quarterback to even have from the next 7 to 10 years for Tom Brady, who you got at best two years with.
And I'm not saying for Tom Brady like Tom Brady can't play football.
I think he's being disrespected for what he still brings to the game.
But you got two years of Tom Brady.
There's no way the San Francisco 40 Niners are gonna give up Jimmy Garoppolo for a 43 year old quarterback.
But I'm reading articles like this.
This is from The Boston Herald.
Tom Brady to the 40 Niners.
Jimmy Garoppolo back to the Patriots.
Talk about a whopper.
There's been growing speculation with this fantasy scenario could happen with the buzz hitting a fever pitch on Tuesday, thanks to all types of reporting and conjuncture for multiple outlets, Tom Curren of NBC Sports Boston said during a serious X M NFL radio interview.
He thought the 40 Niners, we're closing hard on the outside.
What do my sources say? Current says, might be onto something.
Forget good friend Mike Vrabel in the Titans for a minute.
If the Niners interest is mutual in Riel, which appears to be the case on both sides, they're the greatest threat to lure Brady away from New England.
Let me stop right there for a second before we go any further.
I love Tom Brady.
This is in no way in no way discrediting anything Tom Brady has done for the Patriots in 20 years.
If the Patriots could end up with Jimmy Garoppolo via trade, you ain't luring Tom Brady way from nowhere because anybody, any general manager on the planet would need to make that trade.
I remember when the whole Jimmy G trade happened and you know it was Robert Kraft forced Bella check to do it.
Brady went whining the daddy in the idea that we remember all the crap.
We don't have to revisit that subject now, but it was like a week after it happened.
Reports started coming out of New England.
That craft is walking around Gillette kind of thinking maybe we sit in the trade of Jimmy Garoppolo and I get it.
The Patriots went to two more Super Bowls after Garoppolo APs or after Grapple Straight? Absolutely.
Tom Brady won one.
Do they get to a Super Bowl with Garoppolo? We don't know, right? We can answer hypotheticals like that.
But Tom Brady is 43 years old now.
This is the debate when he was what, 40 years old we're talking is gonna be 4 39 turning 40.
He's gonna be 43 years old and started this season.
I would gladly I gladly give up two years of Tom Brady, even if he was still playing in his prime.
I would give up two years of Tom Brady for 10 years of Jimmy Garoppolo.
Any day of the week, he'd come in cheaper than what Brady's apparently gonna cost the Patriots and Pats Nation.
I know there's a lot of Brady fans out there, and there's a lot of people that would rather cheer for Brady than the Patriots.
Jimmy Grab was no slouch.
He's already familiar with the system knowledge.
Jack wouldn't need to draft a quarterback, which rumors? Or now that the pages are gonna drop the quarterback regardless wrote about it today.
I'm gonna talk about it on SportsCastr tonight.
Back the article between having a roster that was close to winning the Super Bowl last month.
Having cap maneuverability.
If GM John Lynch doesn't pick up grapples option in April and Brady's local roots having him grown up in the Bay Area, San Fran would be in the driver's seat toe land, the six time Super Bowl champion Easy.
That's not to say that the Patriots are out of the mix.
They're in consideration, provided Bill Belichick finally reaches out to Brady about the nitty gritty of a new contract and his plans for the offense going forward.
Ditto for the Titans, who are still in the picture as well.
Playing for Vrabel.
It's certainly a draw for Brady, but going home to the Bay Area, where his parents still lived and the possibility of plane there as opposed to Nashville.
Which team do you think has the edge Stop it there again? I mean, okay, listen, huh? Brady was a San Francisco 40 Niners fan.
His family lives in the Bay Area. We get it.
Brady's old man is ****ed off of the 40 Niners.
We remember that, right? We've seen the interviews gave up his season tickets couldn't believe, but they passed on his son like they were hurt.
If you watch the Tom Brady six do***entary, his dad was actually offended and hurt that the 40 Niners didn't select Brady when nobody in the league didn't select Brady.
Except for Bill Belichick with 199th overall pick, it was a five.
Was it? Six quarterbacks of five quarterbacks drafted before Brady in 2000? The Patriots could survive without Tom Brady again.
Not dismissing Tom Brady, but they can survive without him.
I threw this out on Twitter today.
There was once a time when my dad sent me.
I hate this ballot shack guy.
I don't think he knows how to run a team.
He didn't say because of the Malcolm Butler benching.
You didn't say it because he traded away Chandler Jones.
You didn't say it because he didn't get Tom Brady any weapons this year.
No, my dad was ****ed of Bill Belichick because Drew Bledsoe should be the starter of this team this year.
Not this Brady bum.
That's of course, in 2001.
And look what happened there were Patriot fans back in 2001 they didn't believe the Patriots couldn't get to a Super Bowl without Drew Bledsoe.
They went to this nine I just ate and 16 of them, five of them without Bledsoe.
Bledsoe has a ring for backing up braiding the Super Bowl.
It's the cycle of the NFL.
Did they really think anybody could replace Joe Montana? And then along comes Steve Young because we were supposed to.
The New England was supposed to have that.
They were supposed to have the Montana too young situation from Brady to grapple.
But Brady hung on for another five years and played a good levels.
I don't think I see this big decline in him, that making Max Kellerman's and all the media likes to talk about.
I don't see it, but I would gladly give up on two years of Brady for Jimmy Garoppolo.
100 120% finish off here.
There's no question that the Niners map photo play.
There's no question that if the might Niners map out a plan for Brady and how we could get them over the final hurdle, it would appeal to the goat.
But Naturally, neither side is publicly letting their complete feelings and intentions known.
At the NFL scouting combine last week, Niners brass didn't seem to have an issue moving forward with Garoppolo but failing to deliver in the final moments of the Super Bowl.
And the team's ability to cut bait before April 1st when Garoppolo $15.
7 million salary would become guaranteed has ramped up speculation of San Fran making a move for Brady.
Stop there for a second.
Why would you feel uncomfortable going forward without were with Jimmy Garoppolo when Shanahan screwed you more than Garoppolo did.
Shannon, for two straight Super Bowls, watched his team blow a lead, mismanaged the clock.
We saw him not take timeouts in the second half, where they could have put pressure on Kansas City.
We watched to make mistake after mistake, everything.
The general manager is sitting in the box screaming for a time out.
Your idiot coach doesn't take it, and we're acting like Jimmy Garoppolo was the only problem in the Super Bowl.
Could drop of delivered.
Absolutely, he could have delivered better.
What? I mean, let's be realistic here.
Let's look at the reality of this situation.
This wasn't just a Jimmy Garoppolo thing.
If the 40 Niners trade Jimmy G before April 1st, they get hit with a capital charge of 4.
2 million, thanks to a low signing bonus.
They would also free up $22.
4 million cap space, so it's not outlandish for them to kick the tires on Brady, see what he might be looking for and go from there.
It wouldn't be the first time Lynch is on the record, saying he spoke with ballot Check about trading for Brady and 2017 prior to getting Garoppolo for a second rounder.
It's no secret Lynch has always been a huge fan of number 12 as head coach Kyle Shannon our ass for head coach Kyle Shannon.
He saw Brady wipe out a 28 to 3 lead and come back to the ages in Super Bowl 51 against the Falcons.
Let me stop you right there.
Do you know why Lynch called Belichick and asked about Brady because Brady was 40 years old and he thought, there's no way Bilbao check is going to give up on Jimmy Garoppolo.
The future of the franchise, the guy who would have kept the dynasty going for another 10 years past that.
That's why he called and asked about Brady.
Then they got their hands on Jimmy Garoppolo for a second round draft pick, and we're shocked in a win. Now lead.
The 40 Niners have to consider which quarterback gives them a better chance to win.
The Super Bowl is a Brady or Garoppolo.
The later had a chance to put the 40 Niners.
I had a late in the Super in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 54 couldn't make it happen.
Emmanuel Sanders beat chief defender, be the chief defender off the line, got behind the safety and started sprinting towards the end zone.
Garoppolo saw Sanders get open and let it fly with it.
Ah, with the title in the balance, he overthrew Sanders.
The game was over.
Brady has been the most clutch performer in his entire career.
Likely makes that throw.
That's his legend.
Now, from Brady's perspective, he would be looking at a team with a top notch defense and the type of playmakers he's been yearning to have in New England.
for the past few years, he'd get to throw one of the best tight ends, if not the best tight end in the game.
Brady desperately missed not having Rob Gronkowski last season.
How good would it be to throw to a younger version of Gronk? Could I? Assuming Sanders re signs he'd have a group of top flight receivers headlined by Sanders Depot Samuel, plus a fleet of running backs who can also catch the football Rahim Mozart, Tevin Coleman and Matt Brita and a stout offensive line.
It would come down to Shanahan being willing to tailor the offense to Brady and probably incorporating a lot of what he's grown comfortable with over the course of two decades in New England.
While Brady will be 43 in August, having him should bring the 40 Niners closer to a title and perhaps put them over the top.
And, of course, if the Patriots wind up with Garoppolo, they go forward with the quarterback Ballot Shack, originally picked to be his heir.
What a difference two and 1/2 years could make.
What an article.
What a story! How in friggin sane is this? I can't remember the last time I spent 16 minutes talking about one subject, but I just sat there and thought, This cannot be true.
Like the full Lynch and the 40 Niners are not this stupid right.
Brady gives you the opportunity to win one, maybe two, gives you an opportunity, makes you a competitors.
Jimmy Garoppolo makes you competitors if the Patriots end up with Jimmy G back in the system, we saw what he did when Brady was suspended, and there's some 40 Niner fans that are supporting this and the ones who are ****ed say no.
Jimmy Garoppolo is our quarterback.
And I will defend Tom Brady when people call him a system quarterback.
All defend Tom Brady.
When Chiefs fans try to tell me that in a couple of years, Patrick, my homes will be the goat.
I try to defend people.
I defend Tom, bringing people tell me Joe Montana was better and so one. It's on.
It's on Tom Brady's The Goat.
Tom Brady brought six Super Bowls to the Patriots.
Tom Brady is the greatest football player to ever play.
He's 43 years old and we have an opportunity to bring his Aaron, the guy who was originally supposed to take over the team.
We have the opportunity to bring him back, and I'm supposed to be upset as a Patriots fan.
You know, I'm on Twitter and a fake Patriots fan says, I hope that Brady moves on and and stomps on Bill on his way to another Super Bowl.
I'm tired of these fake Patriots fans, man.
Get off the bandwagon.
Change your avatar.
Don't be putting a Patriots logo on your avatar, and they'll be talking about Tom Brady winning the Super Bowl with somebody else and stomping on Bill.
What happens? What if? What if Tom Brady goes to San Francisco and sucks? What does that do to his legacy? I want you to think about that.
What if Tom Brady comes back next year and looks like a 43 year old quarterback and Garoppolo has a good season with the Patriots? There's a lot there is.
There's championships at stake here.
There's money at stake here.
Their legacy is at stake here, and I think that in a month we're gonna come by and think about how ridiculous this story actually Waas but it's there and it's insane.
Oh, that's all I really have to say about that one for tonight, guys.
I mean, this is just a crazy ass story that I wasn't fully prepared to do.
I mean, I went 20 minutes on one subject.
I've got, like, another 19 pages of notes here to talk about, but really, this whole story kind of blew up this whole show.
It really did, because it's it's changed a lot.
You know, it's changed a lot of what I was gonna talk about tonight, but I think the perfect thing to do now is, too, is to move on to This story comes from Madman tour of Mass Live, and it's titled Between leaks and misinformation.
There's nothing safe to believe about Tom Brady's future, and I mean, after what we just talked about with Jimmy Garoppolo, how true is this? There goes.
The reports about Tom Brady's plans for his future aren't all wrong.
Kansas City, Houston and Baltimore aren't interested.
Pretty much every other scenario has been floated by somebody.
One of them had to be right, but it's a good idea to cast a wary eye at every piece of new information about Brainy and where he's going to play in 2020 until he actually decides later this month.
Sources close to Brady and sources close to the Patriots are all being quoted anonymously, and it's impossible to know what's really and what's part of the public relations propaganda campaign.
Coming from both directions.
There's an insatiable thirst for news and not anything substantial to drink.
So everybody's chasing an oasis.
People are filling the universal knowledge gaps with their own imagination.
Motives are invented, exaggerated and interpreted. It misrepresented.
Even Ted Wells could figure out that it's more probable than not that many of the rumors are garbage.
Both sides are leaking information as they try to establish leverage and contract negotiations and positive public relations.
Right now, it's in the Patriots best interest.
Bob Kraft, more than Bill Bala check to portray a perception that no matter what happens, they made a valiant attempt.
If Brady leaves, it was because he wanted something different or Giselle wanted something different, or Brady was asking for an unreasonable contract that would make it badly hum string of badly hamstrung the New England salary cap to match or exceed.
If Kraft can convince Brady to come back, he's got to convince the public he gave it his best shot on the other side.
If Brady's final press conference after the season ending loss to Tennessee is any indication, Brady is attempting to avoid hard feelings.
If he does leave, he seems to want to do it on good terms, at least publicly.
If he goes, he'd certainly like to make it look like it was overwhelmingly in his best interest to do so.
If he stays, he certainly he want more security or more money or more guys who can catch the ball.
And the Patriots are obviously likely to offer Maur if they think they're competing against the big fields.
If the Giants and Cowboys are really involved, they aren't.
But it's been reported that they could be Brady's price and bargaining position improves If it's New England versus Indy or Tampa.
It's a different story.
Brady has been linked to everybody, but how many legitimate suitors will be in play? One report even speculated the 40 Niners might join the Chase for Brady Obey native, even though San Francisco has a younger standout quarterback would be in a higher demand that Brady, if he was a free agent that just lead them to the Super Bowl.
ESPN, quoting people close to Antonio Brown, says Brady wants to play with Brown.
By nature, being close to Antonio Brown should be enough to question the source.
Brown has plenty to gain by teams staking that Brady wants him riding shotgun.
But for all the fun exposure that comes from signing Brady, if it requires also bringing on the Antonio Brown circus suddenly feeling a quarterback hold with Cam Newton or Teddy Bridgewater seems a lot more attractive.
Nobody actually knows what Brady is seeking.
One last big payday, one place he can win a championship without Ballack. Check.
Ah, better location for growing the TP 12 and Gisele Bundchen's bins.
Business interests, warmer weather, better receivers, a coach who gives them or outward respect.
Most of those probably appealed to have varying degrees on Lee.
He knows his priorities.
Does the coach matter? The offensive system matter.
The ownership does he even know exactly what he wants? He doesn't have to decide for at least another two weeks for now.
Between sitting courtside, it's Syracuse game and doing Super Bowl commercials for Lulu, he seems plenty happy to just bask in the attention.
Who that was a strong statement of finish with that was a strong statement to finish with.
He's just enjoying basking in the attention.
I don't believe that I don't think that, Brady said at home, going looking, everybody listening to me and looking at me.
I think he This is all leverage on Brady's part, just like its all leverage on the Patriots part stories of Teddy Bridgewater and Andy Dalton and Marcus Mariota.
Bill Ballot Jack saying, You know what, Tommy? I could do this without you.
If you want Brady sitting there going, Oh, everybody on the sun's looking for me.
That's the kind of things they enjoy.
He's not sit there going like, Oh, I love that everybody's focusing on me.
I mean, so it's, you know, whatever he wants to do, we can do.
There is tomorrow he's gonna be signing the XFL and then on Thursday he's gonna be signing in the CFL on Friday.
They're going to change the rules and he's gonna be eligible to return to Michigan and play another season for Michigan because that's where we're getting it now.
That's exactly where we're getting that with some of these stories that are coming out.
I just did a big 20 minute rant about how it's absolutely, positively impossible that the 40 Niners are gonna give up Jimmy Garoppolo for Tom Brady.
And I chose to cover this story tonight before the whole Garoppolo Brady rumor.
Really, you know, went forward.
So it just worked out perfect the way it did.
Absolutely perfect weight did now, and you want to talk about another thing.
And apparently the Patriots may be interested in quarterback Justin Herbert.
Now, look, you always have to be careful what you read about what you read into both teams meeting with players at the NFL combine.
Because, really, the nature of those meetings and who the player meets with is normally a lot more important than the actual team itself.
Sometimes it's meetings are their informal, and it's just kind of getting a feel for the player.
Other meetings can be with scouts, and it's just a kn organization doing their due diligence and then other times it means a whole lot more.
And when news broke yesterday that the New England Patriots offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels, met with Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert at the NFL combine, it should actually be getting people's radars up.
Just yesterday I wrote a bog, and I talked about how the Patriots will probably not find their starting 2020 quarterback in this year's draft.
I also never really felt like Justin Herbert was an actual option for the Patriots.
He's obviously the third best quarterback in the draft, and I thought the odds that he would fall to the 23rd pick was probably slim at best.
Now I've been kind of really holding out hope that Jordan love would fall to the Patriots and they could groom him to be the next starting quarterback of the next season or two.
But Justin Herbert, in my opinion, is NFL ready now.
But guys, I wouldn't necessarily get too excited about the Patriots meeting with Herbert, because again, I think the odds that he drops down to 23 is probably slim.
But the fact that the Patriots have a real genuine interest in him is very, very intriguing.
Monday morning, quarterbacks Peter King met with the Oregon quarterback and asked him who was the most impressive person that you met with at the combine.
And Herbert Answer quote offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels with the Patriots.
That's got that guy.
That's a guy I've always watched, always looked up to.
I love their offense.
Let's face it, Josh McDaniels wouldn't waste his time meeting with the prospect that the Patriots really weren't interested in.
Herbert was a four year starter in the Pac 12 and, like I said before, he's likely to go in the first round.
And if the Patriots do have a genuine interest in, um, I'm hoping that it's not.
Before the 23rd pick, Herbert put together an excellent 2019 season, recording 32 touchdowns, the only six interceptions he won the N V P in both the Rose Bowl and the Senior Bowl.
Herbert would fit really well into the Patriots offense.
He's a conventional pocket passer, and the Patriots could really continue on with the same offense they've been running for the last 20 years with Tom Brady.
That kind of easy transition would be huge for the Patriots, and it would probably mean that they would be competitors for years to come.
This, of course, is assuming that Herbert can translate what he did in college into the NFL.
Ideally, he would sit behind the best to ever do it for the next couple of seasons and then eventually take over for the Patriots as a starting quarterback.
But if Tom Brady decided he was going to sign with the Chargers and the Raiders of the 40 Niners, then Herbert could possibly be the starter for the Patriots this season.
New England could hold on that Jared stick him as a reliable backup.
Of course, it's always a risk going into a season with two young quarterbacks.
You know, one being a rookie and the other one being the second year backup.
But the two could also push each other and create healthy competition within camping during the season.
And if there's one thing that Bill Belichick loves to do, it's to create internal competition to get the best out of his players.
Herbert ads with short list of quarterbacks The Patriots could select this good, good select this week.
We talked about Jordan, Love and Jake a piece in and of course, with reports coming out that the Patriots are going to be selecting the quarterback, regardless of Tom Brady signs with New England this year or not, should tell you that ballot check is really considering the future.
And I don't think that drafting Justin Herbert is really out of the picture now.
Of course, that could all change because Jimmy Garoppolo is gonna be the next quarterback.
But, I mean, it's just amazing.
I mean, it's just absolutely amazing day after day, the stories that come up but just in harbor be a good pick for the Patriots.
There's also a report out there right now that Tom Brady and Antonio Brown are staying in touch about a possible reunion.
This comes from Henry McCann of the Patriots wire.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady doesn't mind the idea of bringing Antonio Brown aboard and 2020 according to ESPN.
In fact, Brady is keeping tabs on Brown, who is out of the NFL while facing multiple allegations.
Though Brown has shown signs of a wild temper on social media, where he fluctuates between apologies and tantrums with regularity, he may end up back in the NFL if on Lee, because he's one of the game's best wideouts.
Perhaps he'll earn a suspension for the allegations in his erratic behavior and social media.
But that hasn't ceased Brady's interest.
UH, McKenna forgot to say allegedly, Here's Here's what they had to say And ESPN Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano.
Ready for a wild audible.
Two people close to Antonio Brown.
Yes, that Antonio Brown told us Brady keeps inconsistent contact with Brown and has told Brown he wants to play with him wherever Brady goes next.
According to one of Brown's attorneys, Brady has told Brown to keep mentally and physically strong so the two can reunite on the field at Brady's next stop.
Anything concerning Brown should be taken with not a grain of salt but a bucket of salt at this point.
But it does seem, is it Brady and Brown formed at least some level of connection in their incredibly brief time together in New England.
Brady's a pending free agent and it's anyone's gas.
We'll end up in 2020.
He can sign an extension with the Patriots at any time between now and the start of the league gear on March 18th but at this point, he's Also, he's also allowed to sign with a new deal with a new team, and perhaps he and Brown will land in the same place the next season.
Brown was the Onley Patriots was only a Patriot for 11 days, but his impact on the field was obvious.
The New England system is notoriously challenging.
He quickly contributed with four catches for 56 yards in a touchdown.
But that's the only one side of Brown's impact his civil lawsuit brought.
Criticism brought attention to New England so much so that they had to release him.
If Tom Brady plans on getting back together with Antonio Brown, I can guaran tee you.
I guarantee you it will not be with the New England Patriots.
There is no way the Robert Kraft is allowing Antonio Brown back on the Patriots, so Brady could hope all he wants.
The Brady could hope that you know Bala check makes the moves and and brings in Brown, and they can all be happy together.
And they can all be one big, happy family.
What? I mean, it's just it's just not feasible.
Antonio Brown is a cancer in the NFL, and I'm sorry to say it.
I mean, what? He's gonna go to Oakland or Las Vegas? You know? I mean, he's gonna go to Vegas and and Mike May Ock is gonna bring Antonio Brown back with open arms because Tom Brady wants him.
That's why it also has a surprising that Patrick Walker from CBS Sports put on an article today called 2020 NFL Free Agency Raiders opened the Tom Brady but reportedly aren't all in on trying to acquire him.
It goes like this.
No one knows just yet whose uniform Tom Brady will be and come to start of the 2020 season.
And that probably includes Brady himself.
There has still been no decision made by the six time Super Bowl winning quarterback of his future, with rumors of all types now swirling.
About several landing spots have been identified, but there has been no movement in one direction or another, although that will change very very soon.
With NFL free agency said to blast off in a few days, there are rumors in New England.
Patriots won't the feeling of painters won't give chase to their long term quarterback, but there are just a CZ many reports that contradict those rumors.
In the end, well, there has been no formal sit down between the two sides. As of yet.
There have been text messages expect in exchange for Tom Brady are per Tommy current of NBC Sports in Boston, strongly hinting that the Patriots still being willing to woo Brady in the stain put they won't be the only one sending him belated Valentine's Day cards.
However, the teams like the Las Vegas Raiders, supposedly ready to go full bore a getting Brady to join them in their inaugural season in Nevada.
Or are they? The latest rumblings Per Kern are that the Raiders and head coach Jon Gruden, who is long known for working up a lather when thinking about Brady, aren't all they're not securing the four time ah Super Bowl M V P.
The team was publicly has publicly backed quarterback Derek Carr, but also notes they're not.
They're open to all options going forward and then decisions they ultimately make on cars.
Future will send shock waves to quarterback free agency and largely because it will impact their level of interest in Brady.
If cars allowed to remain, you can count Brady out.
But if he's pushed out the door, expect a heated pursuit for Brady.
Allegedly, it makes sense for grooming a general manager, Mike Mayock, to take a swing at grabbing a winner like Brady's not only boost their Kate their chances on the field in 2020 but also this send the relocation hype into overdrive.
As it stands, though, considering the massive number of reports that are continually contradicting each other when it comes to Brady, the Raiders love him, but on Lee, sort of.
But then again, a whole lot.
But maybe in the end, which will be fairly soon, we all know the weight well.
We'll know which whispers were correct and which ones were complete waste of time.
I actually have so much more to talk about tonight so much more.
But I spent so much time talking about the Brady Garoppolo thing.
It's screwed my whole show up.
The good news is there's a lot of a few things I wanted to talk about can be held over till tomorrow, so it's a good That's a good building block for tomorrow's show.
I want to get into now.
The NFL run down, which is presented by the gridiron rant, which is a brand of DP and sports talk.
So the Jaguars traded cornerback age A boy to the Broncos, Adam Schefter reported.
First, the Jacksonville Jaguars had traded cornerback age a boy to the Denver Broncos for 1/4 round draft pick.
It's a good deal that benefits both teams.
The Jaguars are collecting draft picks and they get another one and the Broncos get a quarterback that they think will fit their system.
Boy still has two years left on his current deal.
He finished the 2019 season with 65 compliant tackles and one interception.
Jacksonville is now scheduled to have 10 picks in this year's draft.
Six of those picks will come in the 1st 4 rounds, including two in the first.
There's a rumor going around that the New Orleans Saints are showing interest in Jamie Collins.
Jamie Collins had a triumphant return to the New England Patriots in 2019 early in the season.
There were defensive Player of the Year whispers, but as the season went on, Collins played kind of fell off a little bit.
New Orleans Saints are reportedly interested in Collins, who just signed a one year, 1.
1 point $5 million contract with the Patriots last spring.
