Little what? Mourning It shows so far.
The year Sure has for all No.
Now, a lot of things.
Now, this is the only match I got wrong.
Batting 1000 match after match.
It was sort of my project.
The street shooters podcast earlier, Uh, before the weekend, I me involved Johnson picks? Yeah, I was doing well.
I was doing really well.
And then till the main event, I thought Chris Jericho is gonna walk away with title Excuse me.
And ah, because I thought there was maybe a little more builds.
I mean, they've built this match really well, um, but I want to share if it was gonna be a blow off forward.
Sleep. So another match down the road.
And I never mind that wrestling of rematches or, you know, as long as they have a story that makes sense, doesn't matter who wins.
Ah, in the end, I think that's pro wrestling.
So I didn't expect a complete end of the story line last night between Moxley and Jericho.
We still might not have seen me in it, but right now we have a new world champion the second world champion ever in a W history.
Congratulations to him and over in a young his wife on Twitter.
Ah tweeted out through swamps as everyone, you know that it's gonna be great for her, obviously, John, to celebrate that together while she's doing great things in W B.
He's world champions in a w.
So they're like the new power couple in pro wrestling right now.
And ah, really cute kudos to them.
Great match John Moxley in the middle of a match.
He was bleeding, but he revealed that as I was fine.
So he was swearing that I thatched mess workers Jericho.
I mean, that didn't really make the whole whole lot of sense because even though as I was fine, you would still think that they would attack the eye and then it would be more susceptible to injury because they would attack and Laura cause the eye patches on.
But wrestling's never known for ah, being so logical that you just kind of felt follow the progressions of the storyline and be like, okay, that makes *** time. I say there's always something.
There's always some kind of loophole you can point out, no matter what story, what story line, anything like that.
So not a huge deal.
But I thought that was kind of funny, uh, thinking that, uh, like the big revealed or the match was child Locksley's.
I was fine, but hell of a max.
One of the best monsters of the night.
Probably top three.
Ah, John Moxley, the new ADA be champion will see where they go from.
He's still few with the inner circle.
Does he move on to somebody else? I think I think the money feud obviously is, well, Kenny Omega for the title.
They had a match back it full gear.
But I would like to fix them to explore that feud.
Have a few matches.
Maybe even Aunt died in my and, ah, you know, see where they go from your hangman payout of Paige.
Maybe we'll get into some of that stuff later, but right now I I think we'll probably see some sort of rematch between Moxley and Jericho.
I'm not so sure we've seen the end of that story lines, but we'll be.
And I mentioned dynamite earlier.
We're going to see the return of a war games match.
Now it's not gonna be called wargames, and it's not gonna be dubbed version of war games.
Now we're gonna have two rings.
You have one cave surrounding both rings with the top opponent, which is different than what W B does now with their war games.
And A W was calling it blood and guts, which is obviously a shot offensive man on a conference call.
If he wants to go, he mentioned how they're Double B's.
Not all about the blood and guts.
Let this competition.
So now they're they're naming a dynamite episode.
It's kind of funny is petty, but it's kind of funny.
Ah, you'll see people.
Hey, w worry so much about Toby and I agree with that to an extent.
But, um, to have this war games match, we'll see who's in.
It's gonna be taken place March 25th on the Wednesday night edition of Dynamite.
The Lasts of March, actually, because the next week will be April 1st on that one's left.
So the last March edition of Dynamite will feature that two rings Wanna Cage, now that I love the whole to ring set up like that's one of my favorite things WCW did back in the day to make itself feel different.
It was one of the matches I always look forward to every year.
Even though I didn't order WCW paper used that much, I didn't watch them until maybe like 94 95.
I mean, what? I watched them before that but never really got into anything other than w B and soul.
Diesel razor Ramon went to, ah, WCW form the N W O with Hogan.
So that was kind of like how I grew up watching a baby.
I was kind of the main thing.
WCW was an afterthought.
I'm interested to see how they build this, whether you go with the elite versus the inner circle.
Ah, that seems like the most lot school because there's really only two groups that makes sense in terms of that kind of match.
I really hope I don't see the dark Order or anything like that involved, which, by the way, they tease that.
Chris Daniels was the exalted one during the pre show last night, but when he attacked the dark order, so that was kind of cool, you know, was predictable.
I predicted that Chris Daniels was gonna be the exalted one and he came out and they they everyone believed it was him.
But then he attacked the dark order.
So kind of cool, staying away from the predictability a little bit.
But kudos toe a w great pay per view. Last night.
I think, uh, I do have an issue with some of the match placements and I'm always a big proponent of who cares about match placements.
Listen, that but it does make a difference.
It is a thing that wrestling companies do you want purpose.
And I really didn't know why they put the women's title match right after the attack title match.
She was kind of like a death spot right there and you had the women's title match.
What? You know what wasn't the greatest match on the card, But I think if a w so big in the progressive, they have to put the women in a position to succeed and you can have the women's title match right before the world title match.
I think you have the attack.
Title match was the best match of the night by far.
You know the young bucks and Kenny Omega and Adam Page.
Uh, great match tag.
Team wrestling is different in 2020.
You know a W's taxing wrestling, probably among the best in the world.
If that be best, it's different.
It's not like the old school tactic wrestling.
There's a lot of double teams.
The referee allows a lot of two things going on at once.
You know, two guys in the ring at the same time.
There's like no counts to get out of the rings.
That's gonna be a lot to get used to if you're like a pure wrestling fan.
And then you were looking for Day W.
And I hold their feet to the fire a lot of times because they deserve to be criticized just as much as any other company.
And there's really not a lot to criticize them about.
But ah, I know something people myself included in the beginning with its acting matches were like just too much.
It was like overbooked to an extent.
But I really think that Ah, the match is great.
I didn't expect Ah, the looks, the wind.
So Hagman Adam Page Kenny Omega one to retain the titles.
They tease another hang man term, but it didn't happen.
That seems like the predictable route to go.
So maybe we'll see the young bucks that Kenny Omega turn on Adam Page and then be the heels on a page.
Be the face that will be interesting.
That would be different.
But I don't know, like this whole tease has been going on for quite a while now, so I'm tryingto maybe the war games match.
I should probably stop saying war games, since that's not Ah a W's, they're they're nothing alone.
That was probably the blood and guts.
Well, maybe we'll see a turn here or there from either decide, but great match.
Best match of the night by far.
So any of you miss that.
Um, but then you have the women's title match Lila Rose and Chris Stat Land or right after that you could have put pack and ah, arms.
Cassidy there could have put them in that spot.
That was a really good match.
That was above my expectations.
One of the more entertaining match is on the card arms.
Cassidy was first like real match a W and get some offense in and all this stuff, the crowd loves it.
Uh, you could put that after the title match, but I get, you know, after seeing the match after seeing all that, I get it.
The crowd was really into the pack and go see.
So maybe that's why I mean, you couldn't put the woman's son of Natural in earlier in the car.
I don't know, make the whole dynamic.
You know, you have the pre show, which is good.
No title matches on the pre show.
Then Jake Hager, Dustin Rose to kick off the main card.
Not a bad batch.
Ah, Dustin roads with the whole kissing Hager's wife in the front row.
Had I got some kind of reaction, but not a lot of that's because people don't want to talk bad about a W.
I get it, but you just stay away from that stuff in 2020 you don't need.
Even if Hager's wife was trying to hit Dustin, and that's a Saab, sir.
But then he kisses her like that's even though that's so synonymous with pro wrestling.
That type of segment our interaction.
Let's do away with that.
Especially for a w like you can rely on some things traditional wrestling.
You know, through the years we let rely on some of those things, but I mean, stop.
It's over many and then kissed them because there are women like he wouldn't have done that if it was a guy.
So that's type of, say, we're A W needs to kind of graduate from and stop doing that type of stuff because I know w would have been their feet would have been held to the fire if that would happen on their program.
And it was when Ric Flair did it to Becky Lynch years ago.
Ah, it was a huge deal back then, and I even think Bone and I talked about it on the podcast, where it's just kind of like you don't do that anymore.
And now here we are, two or three years later, where it happened on a W's pay per view.
So they got to stay away from stuff like that, and I think they'll be five.
I just They're learning as they dio and certain things are, you know, they seem to have a good mind.
You know, the decision makers seem to have a good mind of what to do in 2020.
A zit potatoes of pro wrestling And what lines Not to cross the white lines to To cross a cz fares we see, like Okay, maybe that was too too much.
Maybe that was not enough type of thing.
So stay away from that A w We don't need to see any of that anymore.
And so then he had Darby Alan and Sami Camara could matched our reality water.
Ah, I'm just the whole dives to the outside.
We saw Alan almost get seriously injured, cause when he dove to the outside, his foot hit one of the ropes and kind of changed his trajectory for and he didn't really hit Navarra the way he wanted.
Uh, biggies were doing a spear through the ropes for forever.
And oh, Toby dives to the outside.
I'm just unless you're, like doing a flip and your landing safely, you know, like a lot of the dives that I see or like, the straight dives, straight suicide dives.
And, uh, there's, ah, good risk for something to go wrong, and I know there's always a risk for something to go wrong and matches like every night.
But those are just becoming so much that I've become kind of annoyed by like I don't like dives to the outside.
They make no sense in terms of pro wrestling too, May unless you're like a high flyer type thing.
But not every person needs to be a high flyer.
Now, Ressler does not hate about be, Ah, High Flyer.
It does nothing for May.
I know crowds love it live and ah, but I'm just kind of over that whole thing.
I don't think that it I don't think we're going to see the end of it any time soon.
But so I think I'm kind of just saying my opinion, but it's not really gonna change anything.
I'm not expecting it to change anything, but and I've always been the type to be like Don't don't really get mad at what wrestlers do because they're trying.
So many wrestlers need to differentiate themselves.
Thio really catch on with audiences because audiences aren't gonna like the same kind of carbon copy wrestler or character time after time after time, so they have to differentiate themselves.
So I think when the dive started become more prevalent with every single wrestlers.
When I started going like Well, they're not special anymore And they have a high tendency toe hurt or injured somebody, even the person that's doing it, you nose and it's their risk most of all.
So, uh, that's my pending on it.
I'm I'm not a curmudgeon, I swear.
But something's and wrestling make me feel like I am nowadays.
Ah, but coo ast long as the rest of us could do it, that's that's good good for them.
And it gives people on the outside World war, I guess they see them or they're they're only there on the outside of the ring.
More so It's kind of cool for the people around the ring to see them more often, kind of Nero.
But I'm never in the front row, so it doesn't really affect me when I met shows and ah, I know if I wind up going to elimination chamber in one week that I think, uh, I'm not gonna be in the front row either, so enough with the dives.
I mean, at least for every single match.
You know, like if you break it out two or three times the show, I'm cool with that.
But it's literally in every match, so kind of over that.
Then he had to take title match.
After that, I talked about a great match than the woman's subtle match after that.
J F was kind of the master.
I thought it was gonna be the best of the night.
I really thought that we're gonna get the emotion involved.
And the placement was good because it wasn't right.
After that, I sidled match.
You probably could have had that side side of Lash.
No, first, honestly, because the whole situation of match placement was you get a hot opener despite the pre show like the pre show never matters.
Right? So you have that title match right in the beginning, and then you give the crowds of time.
Maybe have Hager and Justin Rose right after that, Um, but kind of top heavy here, a little blue and ah.
Then you had Cody M.
J F after the women's title match, and it just didn't hit with May.
I was expecting the emotions expected us toe root for Cody here.
And I predicted M j f was gonna win, but I thought it was gonna be more in line with, like, a Cody was right there to win.
But then something Someone attacked him, maybe going to see a debut Or, uh, I mean, something did happen.
I'm j f hit him with his ring, but, um, that kind of came out of nowhere.
And when empty of pinned, um, everyone was like, That's it.
So I thought we were gonna at least build to that movement.
And then when we knew the under the match was coming, but that didn't happen.
So that match kind of fell flat for May.
Uh, I don't care about Cody.
Set to a lot of people, made comments about a satellite social media like I don't care if that doesn't really matter.
But as far as the match goes, I picked the right winner.
But how we got there, I was kind of I was underwhelmed.
And what's funny is that Cody does all these elaborate entrances for his you no pay per view, matches and whatnot.
He hates triple age, but he's exactly like Triple H because and everyone was comparing him now because he does the exact same things that Triple H has done for like his WrestleMania entrances.
And it's just funny to me, like I don't I don't blame Cody at all.
I don't blame it all.
He's a big star.
Let him do those entrances, let him creatively get those juices flowing.
But it's funny because he'll say, like Triple H is the worst.
Well, with all like, he acts like he's a bigger star than he really is.
But, you know, Cody does the same things, and I think I tweeted out last night.
I would love to have been a fly on the law for those conversations.
Sweet triple agent Cody because there had to be splitting heads.
So much for this, for Cody to come out.
I know Triple H first said, like the ****ed and company and all that.
The Hall of Fame last year when Cody smashed the throne, you know, with a sledgehammer, the light that doesn't happen.
If there's like some real animosity there, Maybe they're just having fun.
Maybe they're friends behind the behind the seas, like who knows? I know triple h loves Dusty Rose and all that stuff.
But all these legal battles with names and everything and then so I wouldn't say they are friends, but if they are probably what surprised me, But all this back and forth kind of stuff with Cody, uh, he and then this sad walked to the back after he loses.
Like he just stands in the ring that he looks around and apologizes to the crowd, like, all sad and sulky like.
All right, man, we get it.
You don't You don't need thio.
Take that in every single time.
You know you have brandy come out on Anderson, come out.
It's like, Okay, like you lost time.
J f likes not the end of the world.
Yeah, you went through a lot, but nothing was really at stake except pride, So Ah, I mean, I get it on.
I mean, we did phone and I did a show on Cody Rhodes a few weeks ago.
His legend is continuing to grow.
This is that they're a steel cage match Warlow.
He's done a great job with his character and getting us emotionally invested.
Which is why I felt like this fell a little short because I didn't.
I wasn't as emotionally invested as I thought I would be in that mass because I just didn't think they hit that enough of those emotions for the audience.
Of course, we're getting blood in almost every match.
It's kind of like, OK, it's we're done it like WFP did that back in the day, even after WCW, they they did that.
They used blood up until, like the PGR.
You know, we stop seeing blood on W. T.
And like all the main events and all that, we're practically every minute, minute, and now we barely see it.
And if we do see it, it's not on purpose or it's like one of those pills, like we're not seeing Blades or anything like that.
So I really think that maybe we don't see blood until blood and guts.
Maybe unless there's some sort of angle that plays out on dynamite, where we see somebody get busted open and maybe a straw Moxley again, Who knows? Maybe the inner circle will beat him up on Wednesday night, who knows? But Cody and M j f kind of fell flat, but it didn't ruin the show for me.
I give it a a minus.
I really thought it was, ah, one of their best show up best shows but one of their good shows All the matches were could disagree.
And, ah, you know John Moxley, the new ADA be champions will see where they go from here.
Can he carry that brand as a world champion when he was world champion and W W V three years ago? Ah, four year, a little over three years ago, three and 1/2 years ago for a few months and then lost it A.
J styles of them didn't really stiff it again.
So we'll see where they go from here it will Moxley hold it for a year.
Who knows? Ah, but I was kind of surprised.
I was surprised they did it this early with a switch between Jared Gold Moxley.
Eso Well, congratulations to him.
I'm looking forward to see what they dio creatively.
Let's see what where they could go from here because, you know, as good as a W has been since their inception, you know, is there's never a good time.
Just sit back and admire what you've done so far as that when you're involved, you know, as a fan, as fans, we just sit back and be like that was awesome.
And we can kind of regroup wait till Wednesday to see what they do next and like we recharge.
But those guys in any w those guys, the girls, they're working, They're working right now.
As you're watching this video as I'm recording this video, they're working.
So they have no time to worry about revolution or what hit or what mist or anything like that.
So, uh, definitely looking forward to dynamite on Wednesday night.
Uh, the next t just stop.
Must see anymore even when Charlotte flare in the main event.
Um, not interested.
Not interested at all.
So there it is, where we're waiting for Wednesday night.
