What's going on? Everybody and your boy Ray and welcome to my little show.
DP and Sports Broadcasting live on SportsCastr.
Will he stay or will he go? I've become numb to the whole Tom Brady free agency thing that I don't even care anymore.
I just want him to sign with the Patriots, signed with somebody else and just be done with it.
But today, Jeff Darlington, from ESPN said that he would be stunned if Brady re signed with the Patriots.
And I'm starting to get that feeling.
Where there's smoke, there's fire.
I will cover that story in all the latest NFL news today going around because here on D P n, we like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
So if you'll remember early last week, news broke that the New England Patriots planned on sitting down with Tom Brady's camp at the NFL combine, and at the very least, they were gonna have some initial conversation about a possible contract extension.
And we thought that maybe this was a sign that Brady was going to return to the Patriots and 2020 that was our thought process.
We all know the Brady's been linked to numerous themes throughout the soft season.
We know there's been heavy rumors of the Las Vegas Raiders are gonna be making a big push and pursuing Brady.
We've heard the other conversations come up about the L A Chargers, the possibility of the Tennessee Titans.
Honestly, I'm still confident that Tom Brady's gonna end up coming back to the Patriots returning the Patriots.
But I think like a lot of Patriot fans, I'm just to the point that I want him to make a decision so we can move on from the rumors and the pundits.
Given their opinion, the reality the Patriot fans live in right now is until Tom Brady makes a decision on his plane future.
All the speculation and the Clickbait headlines are not going to go away.
You know what? Since January, ESPN is Jeff Darlington has been on.
The Brady is leaving.
The Patriots trained harder than almost anybody, and he was on get up today, and during that performance this morning or appearance this morning, that's called a performance.
He kind of took a speculation to a whole new level, and he claimed that sources he had that were close to, Brady said, It's looking like looking less likely.
The Tom Brady returns to the Patriots this season.
Darlington went as far as saying that he would be stunned if Brady return to the Patriots.
His exact quote was quote, I am now at the point where I would be stunned if Tom Brady returns to the Patriots end. Quote.
Look, Will Tom Brady re sign in New England? Will Tom Brady leave New England? At some point? I think that Patriot fans are just so sick of hearing about it.
And what I'm starting to see now is some unrest amongst the New England faithful.
I've seen multiple tweets, multiple tweets from Patriots, say fans saying something along the line of You know, I think Brady is enjoying toying with the fans emotions.
And I think some of this is because, as Patriot fans were not used to being in the situation, we're used to Tom Brady being the constant in New England.
We're used to Brady taking hometown discounts, doing what's best for the team, saving some money, letting the Patriots building offense around him.
And now here he is, I don't know and exploring free agency, and I just I think some people don't know how to handle it.
I don't believe that.
Brady's purposely toying with the fans emotions.
The guy's a 42 year old man.
He's gonna be 43 years old.
He's a professional football player.
He does not give, too.
I OTA's of what we think.
But you know what? I asked this question before.
Given all that and putting all that into consideration if Tom Brady left the Patriots and signed with another team.
And let's pretend for a second, we all believe that the Patriots were willing to pay him $30 million at least for this season.
Would it tarnished Brady's legacy in New England.
Now I know you all have your own opinions.
My short answer is yes and no.
There are a lot of Tom Brady fans who cheer for the Patriots because of Brady.
They will become fans of the Raiders of the charges of the Titans or whoever he goes to.
They will throw their support behind Brady.
They will say the Belichick did him wrong and off he goes.
There are Patriot fans and I think I kind of fall into this category will appreciate everything that Brady did for the franchise.
Everything he did for the organization will appreciate the six Super Bowl championships, and then we'll move on with their lives and see what the Patriots do going forward.
Then there will be the group that will be just ****ed right off.
They'll be pressed, ****ed off of Brady.
They'll be ****ed off a Bell attack.
They'll be ****ed off at craft.
They'll be ****ed off at me.
They'll be ****ed off at you.
They'll basically just be ****ed off at anything to do with the New England Patriots.
If you don't believe me, if you don't think that all of that is gonna happen, go find some old tweets from one.
Rob Gronkowski retired.
I've never seen a tweet this year of a guy.
It was probably in November, mad at Gronk for leaving his brother stranded on the field, people crying over drunk people.
Bala Check for Gronkowski is retirement.
You know, with what, at the end of the day in time, Brady's legacy in New England it will be fully intact.
We're going to see him in a red jacket, and the Patriots, all of fame.
We're going to see him in a gold jacket at the you know Football Hall of Fame and Patriot fans will scream.
That's my quarterback.
But there may be some short term followed for Brady.
Is he gonna get cheered if he returns to New England when somebody else's jersey? Anna, I don't you know, Darlington man.
Naturally, he took a lot of heat on Twitter after his comments because as Patriot fans were not always rational.
But he doubled down on the statements.
Man, he's sticking with what he said.
He said, quote, I know you hate me.
I know you'll tell me I'm an idiot and I understand why it's so hard for all of us myself included, to start accepting this likelihood.
Hey, there's still a chance.
But the reality is Brady is looking forward to free agency End quote.
And then we sat there without all what? He's not credible.
We said a lot if he had a rapid port, doesn't say if Adam Schefter doesn't say if Mike Reese doesn't say it's not true, but Scott McCaughey, the W E.
I was reading an article from any day, he pointed out, made a really good point.
You know, as a Patriot, fans were sitting back.
We're waiting for somebody.
The credibility to come out.
Dispute Darlington's theory Ian Rapoport kind of said that the com Brady's and the Patriots plans, but he never said that the Patriots were in Brady's planes, and we never really got the fact that Tom Brady wants play for the Pats.
In fact, there were reporters and pundits out there who almost endorsed Arlington's words.
No doing it, because I don't want to look stupid.
And then I'm flicking through tweets and Mason's on the article I can remember, but Karen Gergen of The Boston Herald she sends out a tweet shortly after Dollar Darlington that says quote.
The Patriots still have not reached out to Tom Brady, according to a source.
It's not looking good.
Who's the source? Is it Giselle? Is that nobody who knows? But that's the reality that we live in right now.
And you, during my sports casters show last night, A regular viewer.
His name is Rhino.
Oh, G on SportsCastr.
You know, he put a common the chat box that he was sick of hearing about Tom Brady, and I'm getting that settlement a lot.
I'm sick of hearing about Tom Brady, but what was weird about that? His words kind of took me from surprise because I was talking about Austin Hooper and tight ends the Patriots could sign at the very most.
Brady may have been a footnote and what I was talking about last night, but he wasn't really the centerpiece of what I was saying.
But that's how sick and tired Patriot fans are about hearing about Tom Brady. And it's free agency.
And it all goes far.
Same were probably justice sick of hearing about Tom Brady's free agency, as the rest of the world is tired of us, telling them that Brady's the gulf that the patrons of the champions hated because you came as ballot check is evil, whatever.
That's how sick we are of the Brady free agency's agency thing And guys, at this point, it's all speculation, and I can't tell you how happy I am that we're now like less than a month away from this finally being over, and I'm going to say something that I never thought I'd say in January.
Then I never thought I'd say last year, the year before two years before that.
I'm almost at the point that I don't care where Brady signs as long as he's so signed somewhere and we can just move on because I want to focus on something besides Tom Brady.
There's so much going on in the football world right now.
There's so much going on in the Patriots world right now, we're not focused on Kyle Vanoy.
We're not focused on Joe Tooni, Devin McCourty, Matthew Slater, Jamie Collins.
We're not focused on the fact that the Patriots don't have any viable tight ends.
We're not focus on the fact that they need wide receivers were focused on Tom Brady.
That's one it over.
I just want to focus on the Patriots.

I actually have a steady diet of stories coming out from the scores Alex Chip in who obviously was a busy man today.
And even though we keep hearing all about Tom Brady to the Raiders, Jon Gruden said today he's anxious to keep building a brown Derek Carr.
The Kansas City Chiefs are trying to do what they can to keep their Super Bowl winning team together, and it looks like they're gonna be using the franchise tag on one of their most important defensive pieces.
Davian Clowney is a free agent.
There seems to be a couple of teams in the running, trying to make a push that grabbing him.
I'm gonna look at what's going on with Chase Young and Joe Burrow.
Basically, there's a whole lot of football to talk about, and I got a lot more than that.
But look, before I start chatting football before I start talking sports, I need to make a public service announcement.
15 years ago today, my life changed forever.
I met somebody who helped shape who I have become without her encouragement.
Without her support, I don't know.
There's a whole lot of things in my life that are great and probably would have existed without her.
And here are sports cashed in front of all my friends.
I want to wish my beautiful wife a very happy anniversary.
15 years ago, you made the worst decision of your life.
You're ST you put up with me.
Thank you for putting up with my mood swings during football season.
And I really am excited about going through the rest of my life with you.
I just love you.
All right, So I want to jump into the news for today, um, and go like that.
And just so you know, guys, that is the most sentimental You're going to see out of me ever.
Now, if you give me one second? I left my coffee right over there, and I've been staring at it.
Every time I look to the left like this, I'm looking at my coffee thinking, you dumb ass.
Your coffee's over there.
You're sitting over here, and I'm not happy that I left it over on that shelf.
So if you would give me a moment, I am going to run over and I am going Thio, grab my caffeine.
Joe, I'm gonna be honest with you.
We are going on vacation in April, and we both decided that we would save our money and, uh, yeah, save our money and spend it on our vacation.
So that's what we're gonna do.
I wish you a happy anniversary, and I cooked her dinner a delicious dinner, a chicken stir fry, multi talented.
I should put on a cooking show.
You guys followed me for recipes here on SportsCastr.
It's gonna be one of those nights.
It's going to be one of those nights.
All right, let's jump into the news today.
I like shipping from the scores reporting that the Raiders Gruden is anxious to continue to build around Derek Carr Las Vegas Raiders had coach Jon Gruden gave no hint on Thursday that he's looking for a quarterback to replace Derek.
I really think Derek's a heck of a player, and I got a lot of respect for what he's done and with some tough cir***stances, Gruden told Victor.
Four of the athletic.
I'm not gonna answer every media rumor that's out there.
I just can't do it.
I love what car did.
I love what he brings to our team, and I'm anxious to continue to build around him. End quote.
Cars 28 is coming off one of his best NFL seasons.
He posted a career high and completion percentage, which was 70.
4 passing yards, which is 4000 and 54 yards per attempt, which is 7.9.
You also tossed 21 touchdowns against eight interceptions in 2019.
Still, the Raiders finished seven and nine and missed the playoffs for the fifth time in six years.
With Car is their starter.
The Raiders have been lengths to impending free agent Tom Brady, and Gruden is known to covet veteran signal callers.
But he and general manager Mike Mayock have both been and but empathetic of their support of car quote.
The guy completed 70% of his passes and he had almost a 3 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio.
I think we're number 11 in the league. In total yards.
We were seventh and third down conversions.
May ox it on Tuesday.
We did a lot of really good things in the off season last year.
The disconnect was we didn't score a lot of points.
You're 11 yards and 24 points.
There's an issue.
It's special team.
It's scoring in the red zone and it's not scoring and gold to go to me.
Those are the issues their car played at a high level.
I'm very happy with Derek Carr.
What I've told everybody I've been in touch with since the day I took the job is we're going to evaluate every position every year and if we could get better, we will end.
Quote Car is signed through 2022 but the Rangers could release him for a dead cow pit of 7.
9 million dollars this offseason, according to over the cap, the Raiders, who are 11 and 21 since Gruden returned his head coaching 2018 declined to draft a quarterback with any of their three first round picks in the 2019 draft, and they're slated to make two selections in the opening round this year.
Look, I don't think it's going anywhere now.
There's another report coming out by who else? Alex tripping until Alex was busy today.
But the Chiefs are going to franchise tag Chris Jones.
The Kansas City Chiefs will use the franchise tag on defensive tackle Chris Jones.
The Windows for teams to assign the franchise or transition tagged open Thursday and will end on March the 12th.
The window was pushed back two days due to collective bargaining agreement talks between owners and players.
The franchise tender would keep Jones of becoming an unrestricted free agent well, offering him a non negotiable one year contract with the average of the top five salaries at this position, the defensive tackle French, the defensive tackle franchise tag tag is projected to be worth 15.
5 million and 2020 though the NFL has yet to announce the exact values Jones has developed into a star since being selected by Kansas City in the second round of the 2016 draft.
He posted nine sacks over 13 games during 2019 and he had 15.
5 sacks in a full seasons worth of contest the prior year, the 25 year old was dominated times in the chief Super Bowl 54 victory.
Despite playing with an injured calf, the chief's reportedly hoped to sign Jones to a long term extension.
They now have until 4 p.m.
On July 15 to get a deal done without fear of a rival team swooping in and signing the Pro Bowler off the open market.
However, Kansas City is short on cap space entering the off season and could be forced to part ways with the veteran to make room for Jones and other moves.
There have been plenty of chatter at the NFL combine in Indianapolis that the Chiefs could look to trade away players in an effort to clear salary for their 2020 books, according to the NFL Network's Mark Garafalo.
I did a thing not too long ago talking about how Chris Jones is the most important player on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Maybe outside of Patrick Mahomes, Patrick.
My homes could throw up 45 points a game.
But if your defense is lighting up 47 you're going to lose.
Chris Jones is a huge piece, too.
Is a huge piece to the Kansas City Chiefs defense.
Whether they like it or not, they are.
And I think using the franchise tag a smart they don't have the money to offer him the contract.
He probably needs, but that's what it is.
Well, behold Alex Chip and again.
And there's reports of the Giants and the Colts among potential Clowney's suitors.
The New York Giants in the Indianapolis Colts are among the teams that could have interest in free agent Davian.
Clowney reports ESPN just Sina Anderson.
Clowney is expected to attract plenty of clubs looking to bolster their edge presence.
The former number one pick has stated his desire to play for a contender team but will command a lucrative long term deal.
The 27 year old managed just three sacks for the Seattle Seahawks last season, though he still consistently pressure the quarterback.
He was traded to Seattle from the Houston Texans, with whom he spent five campaigns and earn three potable Pro Bowl selections.
Clowney totaled 18 and 1/2 sacks from 2000 17 to 2018.
Like, I don't I don't think that clowning is the guy that he used to be.
I think it's a little ridiculous when you're talking about Hey, man, I'm going to come out.
I want to play for a contender But you also have to give me a long term, lucrative deal.
Like usually only works like one of each way.
Contenders usually don't have the money to spend.
I mean, the Baltimore Ravens are probably one of the only teams that are like true, true Super Bowl contenders that also have the money to spend on a free agent like to Davian Clowney, And they don't seem to be interested in bringing him in.
So I mean, it's one of the other man, either you want the big money like I remember, Was it last year, the year before, when Golden Tate was like, Yeah, I want to play for a contender.
I'm only gonna play for contender.
He talked about the possibility of playing for the Patriots.
I mean, we all remember those rumors, and then he comes out and He's just like, Yeah, I'm gonna go play for the New York Giants, All right? Have fun, you know, like, yeah, they're gonna have a rookie quarterback or you're gonna have e life friggin manning.
So good luck, But yeah.
No, no, you're right. You're right. You're right.
Go find your contender.
I love Chase Young.
I just wanted you guys to know that OS you boom The Ohio State University's chase Young said it right away.
He said quote, I'm the best player in the draft.
This is from Jack Brown of the score.
Can you believe it? Not Alex Chase Young is one of the few challengers to Joe Borough status as the presumptive it the presumptive number one pick in the 2020 draft.
And the former Ohio State pass rusher believes his talent is unmatched in this year's draft class quote.
I definitely think that I'm the best player in this draft, Young said Thursday, the 2020 NFL scouting combine, According to Nick Nick shook of the NFL dot com.
I think I showed it on my tape every game.
I think I showed it.
I definitely think I put my best foot forward this year, I grind it hard.
Two of my biggest things are hard work and dedication, and I'm gonna bring those two.
I'm gonna bring those two to the NFL with me.
With the Cincinnati Bengals widely expected to take the Heisman winning burrow at the top of the draft, Young has been penciled in as the Washington Redskins pick at number two.
Dwayne Haskins, Young's former Buckeye teammate, was the Redskins first round pick last year, and the quarterback is hoping for every union.
Okay, me and Dwayne, we talk all the time, Young said, according to Matthew Perez of The Washington Times.
I've known Dwayne since high school.
He definitely loves the organization.
Obviously, he wants me to come play with them, but I think we'll just see how this whole thing turns out. End quote.
Redskin coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that everything is an option with the second overall pick, including Burrow and fellow quarterback to attagirl Tega Viola, who will both meet with the NFC East team at the combine.
But after he said in Ohio State record with 16 and 1/2 sacks in his final season, it could be hard for the Redskins to pass on Young.
I think unless you're drafting Job Burrow, the Washington Redskins would be insane to pass on Chase Young.
Listen, when you think about guys like Look at Bosa last year, you know, unfortunately, I hate saying this because they're not a dime a dozen, but you can find a decent quarterback.
San Francisco found Jimmy Garoppolo he is by.
He's a second round draft pick, and he plays like a second round draft pick.
He's not a star, but he's a good, solid, reliable quarterback Ed rushers like Young and Bosa who come out of the O huh, without of the Ohio State University.
But they don't grow on trees, either, man.
And I think if you got a chance to get one of the best guys in the draft or according to him, the best guy in the draft, you do what you can to keep your hands and get your hands on him.
Just my opinion.
Maybe I'm the idiot, I don't know, but that's my thing, Jack Brown continued.
Report came out that Burrow impressed the Bangles in a combine interview.
Good for you, Joe Burrow.
And as we all know, before getting to the article.
This whole job Earl thing is he gonna play for the Bengals? Is he not kind of got put to bed the other day when he was talking about how he would be, You know, he was He wouldn't not.
Not playing right.
That's was his words, which is a little funny way to say things, but he would not not play for the, you know, for the Bengals.
So if he gets drafted, he'll play.
Regardless of what you know, Carson Palmer says that.
I mean to me, I'm like, Who the hell is Carson Palmer? Right? But it goes like this.
As owners of the number one overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals are less than two months away from one of the most important decisions in franchise history.
But quarterback Joe Burrow, the favorite to be the top selection in this year's draft, apparently helped make the Bengals choice much easier with a strong interview at the NFL scouting combine.
What he was impressive, a Bengal staff member told Jeremy Rouch of Fox 19 a really good communicator, had a full grasp of all the details of their offense, which was expected but good to hear.
Borough spoke with the Bengals president, Mike Brown, head coach Zach Taylor, director of player personnel Duke Tobin and offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.
According to a team writer, Jeff Hobson.
A couple, a club official not included in that group also told Hops in that it was the best interview he'd ever attended.
Another source within the organization told Tyler Dragon of the Enquirer, the Enquirer of the Enquirer, that the meeting with the former L S U star went well, adding, Burrow is a quote smart guy who will be ready for the NFL.
Borough has been the presumptive first overall picks ever since he won the Heisman Trophy and lead the L S do Tigers to a national title in historic breakout season.
Speaking to reporters at the combine Tuesday, the 23 year old shot down speculation that he doesn't want to land with the Bangles.
I mean, I don't have anything to add to that already kind of put my piece of the front also going on in the NFL, according to Gas.
Ooh, Alex trip in the Redskins, William wants a new contract or a trade.
Frankly, I'm done hearing about Trent Williams as much as I'm done here in a book.
Tom Brady's You know contract.
But Washington Redskins left tackle Tran Williams wants a new contract or a trade.
Sources told My Carafa Low and Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network.
Williams is entering his age 32 season in the final year of his contract, which pays him a nonguaranteed base salary of 12.
First year head coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that the Redskins attempt to mend fences with Williams following a spat with upper management last season is a quote work in progress.
Williams held out last season upset by the way Washington handled a medical situation.
He reported to the team in November and spent the rest of the year on the nonfootball injury list.
The Redskins made significant changes to the front office after that season, firing long term president Bruce Allen, who had refused to honor the trade request Williams reportedly submitted in the summers in the summer.
Williams has spent his entire career with the Redskins, who drafted him fourth overall in 2010.
He made seven consecutive Pro Bowls from 2012 to 2018.
I mean, like, it's like I said, I'm done with that.
I'm done with him.
I no longer care.
I no longer want to hear about what Williams has to say.
I no longer care what the Redskins have to say.
I think that Bruce Allen screwed the pooch last year.
I think he ruined every opportunity.
He had to get a return.
You could have traded Trent Williams.
You didn't want to be.
Their teams were willing to pay and then all of it.
And you said, No, no, no.
And then they got involved in the last minute and teams like, Man, we'll give you 1/6 round draft pick.
There was rumors in the summer teams were willing to give up to a 2nd 1st round pick for Williams.
That's how dominant this guy could be, and the Redskins played themselves out of the trade market.
Bruce Allen was probably, I don't know the worst thing to ever happen to Washington.
Maybe next to Gruden.
To me, if anybody can fix that relationship, it's probably Rivera.
For men like it's just it's ridiculous.
So, ladies and gentlemen, it is Thursday, February 27th.
We're now a couple days away from game day, but not the NFL. Game day.
You know what I'm talking about? The Xtreme Football League.
The Vince McMahon, the ex fo and I don't talk about the XFL often.
Today, USA Today. He put out his power rankings.
Houston Roughnecks Quarterback P.
Walker, Dominic and leagues 1st 3 weeks.
Interested? If you guys want to leave your comments in the chap blocks, Yeah, I'd be interested to know what you guys are still thinking about the XFL.
Ah, we've talked about it in the past.
We've talked about different things.
We're three weeks into it.
Now is the interest of there.
Is the bus still there? I know for me, I'm not as excited about it as I was.
It's still good football.
I just find that I have other things to do.
It's a good time killer when I got nothing to do.
Let's put it that way.
But I chose to watch the Toronto Blue Jays and, um, I can't remember they tied to two, but I chose to watch a spring training baseball game over the XFL on Saturday.
I did watch a little bit on Sunday, but that's what I mean, So it's a good thing when I got nothing else to do.
I think it's good football.
I think you could be a good feeder league.
I much prefer NC Double A in the NFL to the XFL one or what you guys think Leave the comment in the in the chop blocks that loves Know what? You guys don't think about it.
Let's go through the power rankings.
There is just one undefeated squad in the XFL.
The Houston Roughnecks are rolling and have been the most consistent of the eight teams in the new league.
Still, they're not perfect.
But the power rankings got a bit of a shake up this week when the D C defenders, considered by many to be one of the top teams, were routed.
On the other hand, another end of the spectrum things just keep getting worse for the Tampa Bay Vipers.
The only team without a victory shout out to Rhino, who is not here right now.
Here are the Week three power rankings number one, the Houston Rough next three.
You know, defense remains an issue the rough Next rank sixth in scoring defense, 22.
7 points per games allowed, just two better than the last place Vipers coach.
June Jones run and shoot offense has been too much for all opponents, and quarterback J.
Walker is quickly distancing himself in the N V P race.
Right now, Houston is the team to beat.
Last week they were number one.
They remain at number one, number two on the list of the ST Louis battle Hawks or two and one on the season.
The return of pro football to ST Louis was triumphant, with the battle Hawks toppling the Gardens Guardians by 20 points.
The battle Hawks have a powerful Russian game that leads the XFL with 157.
7 yards per game.
On defense, ST Louis has held as yielded just 46 points, one more than the league Leaning renegades.
Off ball control offense and a stingy defense are a recipe that could carry this team to a run in the playoffs.
They bumped up a spot is they were ranked number three last week and they bumped up to number two the D C defenders or number three on the power rankings there, two and one.
The defenders suffered not only their first loss, but a 30 point blowout to the previously winless Los Angeles Wildcats.
Well, cuts quarter quarterback Cardale Jones seemed out of sorts, looked uncomfortable in the pocket and threw four interceptions before being benched.
This is one of those games a team must move on from quickly, but D C should still be a squad that carry some respect within the league.
Last week, there were number two.
They've dropped down to number three.
Number four on the list is the Dallas Renegades.
They're two and one quarterback Landry Jones needs to protect the ball much better, but running back Cameron artist Pain has shown he can be a reliable contributor.
Most important, Dallas is defense.
Which leaves the XFL.
Allowing just 15 points per game is what makes this team formidable.
Ah, huge barometer comes in Week four in the form of the undefeated Roughnecks.
Last week, Dallas was number five.
They've moved up to number four sitting in the fifth spot, bumping up two spots from number seven.
The Los Angeles Wildcats.
No team rose more than the Wildcats, whose defense took a massive step forward in a dominant victory against the previously unbeaten D C.
The defenders came in with the league's best passing offense, one that had averaged 245.
5 yards per game and held it to 90.
Coach Winston Moss has taken control of the team's defense, and quarterback Josh Johnson had an efficient 270 eight yard, three touchdown day again last week.
There were number seven. This week.
They're five number six on the power rankings of the Seattle Dragons, who are now one and two.
Arguably the biggest concern for coach Jim Zorn's group is the Dragon simply haven't played an entire consistent game in their lone victory, 17 to 9 and weak to against the Vipers, they needed a strong second half the pull away.
But in their two losses to the defenders and weak one in the Renegades Week three, Seattle was outscored by a combined 37 to 6 in second halves.
Last week, they were number four.
They have toppled all the way to number six.
Sitting at number seven is the New York Guardians, that one into simply put, the guardians are in a free fall.
The offenses stay ist as stag UN's under quarterback Matt McGowen.
And when he went down with a rib injury, the team wasn't any better with backup marquees.
Williams coach Kevin Gilbride might be best suited to revamp the scheme and look to be physical rush first team.
But the team must correct slopping on disciplined play that lead to nine penalties.
Last week they were number six.
They have dropped to number seven and number eight last week. Number eight.
This week. The O in three.
Tampa Bay might as well be Australian Vipers easily.
Tampa play Bay has Bean the worst team coach Marc Trestman, who, by the way, is the former Toronto Argos coach who was the last coach to win a Great Cup with the Argos coach March.
Trestman still can't figure out his quarterback situation.
He has stuck with backup Taylor Cornelius, while starter Aaron Murray nurses a foot injury.
Quinton Flowers has been relegated to a change of pace substitution but has flash inability to make throws, extend plays and scramble when needed.
The bigger issue is it might get worse.
The schedule is unforgiving, with a five game stretch that includes matchups against defenders, Wildcats, renegades and defenders and, again, the battle cuts.
I have to laugh at that.
When they talk about like a five game stretch.
Like all they got a tough five game stretch.
So including them, that means they're not playing, too.
Of the eight teams in the league, they obviously can't play themselves.
So I don't the meats.
It's just finding Maybe you don't find it funny.
It's um NC double A news.
Colorado has finally hired a coach.
This comes from my boy Michael McClement.
Colorado hired Karl Dorrell as their new head coach.

Prior to that, Daryl had to separate stints in Colorado is an assistant as he coached receivers in 92 93 served as the offensive coordinator from 95 to 98.
I'm excited to be back.
It's like coming home, Darryl said.
The thing that excited me the most about this job is my experience.
In the past year, for the most part, it has been successful.
We had a lot of good teams, went on a lot of good bull games.
It's a top caliber program that has a lot of potential, and I'm excited to return it to that level.
End quote Darryl Only previous head coaching experience came from U. C L.
A from 2003 to 2007 during which she went 35 27 took the Bruins to four pro game pro four Bowl games in five seasons.
Colorado is coming off its third consecutive five and seven campaign.
Tucker left the team February 11 to become the new head coach at Michigan State's How do you like them? Apples? All right, I got one more Patriots story here for you before I get into it.
I got to tell you guys I am re evaluating the whole baseball thing.
It will come back, but I need toe.
I kind of rushed into it.
I wasn't ready for it.
I know it looked like I was ready for it, but I really wasn't ready for it.
So I'm not gonna be talking baseball tonight.
We'll be talking baseball for a few weeks.
I need to kind of figure that hopefully, by the time this season starts, I'll get in the baseball.
Joe I did put out of lock today about the Toronto Blue Jays, so you could check it out there.
All right, guys.
Patriots called out this tight end prospect for his loser mentality, and I'm going to go through the article, but I'm going to talk about it more in depth tomorrow night.
But this comes of Zach Cox of Messing.
Jared Pinkney was exposed to the New England Patriots no nonsense approach this week at the NFL scouting combine.
During a meeting with the Patriots personnel on Monday in Indianapolis, the Vanderbilt tight end prospect was chastised for having a quote loser mentality.
It's interesting because with the team that's been winning for so long as they have, you expect him to come in with a certain mentality and share that mentality and to spread it and impart it onto you, Pinkney said.
And that's exactly what happened.
I gave kind of a wonky answer, and I was like and they rely and it was like, No, that's a loser mentality And I was like, Okay, my bad.
And they were like, You need to be like this and that and that and I was like, Yes, sir, I'm better end Quote.
Pygmy, of course, is considered one of the top tight ends in the 2020 NFL draft.
Draft class should say draft draft class amongst tight ends.
Ah, he also met with the Patriots at the Senior Bowl last month and received an early introduction to the Patriots, wagering his time at Vandy.
All right, the head coach, Derek Mason, and his staff visited the Patriots training camp before the 2018 season and returned with blessings galore quote after the visit.
For two years, it was really just Bill Belichick does this, and Bill Belichick said that, Pinkney said what he said to Tom Brady.
Eventually we all just got tired of hearing about it, but in reality it does help an organization, pro level or college to be able to go and see what it's like at the highest level and how they operate and then bring it back to your own coaching room.
Following an excellent junior season, 50 catches, 770 yards, 7770 yards and seven touchdowns.
Pinkney, regressed, is a senior in 2019 catching just 20 passes for 233 yards in two scores on a terrible Vanderbilt team.
The drastic dip in production hurt his draft stock, but Pinkney still offers quality size.
He's six foot 4 £275.
He has athleticism and receiving potential pro football focus compares them to the Patriots.
Former tight end Martellus Bennett.
New England has a dire need for tight and help this offseason, and it has taken.
It has taken a liking to Vanderbilt products in recent years, signing defensive tackle Adam Butler as an undrafted free agent in 20 17 and drafting supersized cornerback Juan Williams in the second round last year.
Quote. Adam Butler.
He came back for the spring game last year, so I was able to talk to him.
There said Pinkney, who played with Butler and Williams in college.
It's really cool when older guys see you when you're young and then they come and then they leave and they come back and it's really cool to see what they thought of you when you were younger.
They tell me like, Man, I saw this coming so that's awesome.
And then Jawan really, really good.
Dude, I was super happy for him.
When he got drafted, I thought he was going to go first round just because of a skill set.
His ability to take away Number one receivers during our season was unprecedented, but I guess the 4.
64 2nd 40 time knocked him down.
Like I said, I'm going Thio expand on that tomorrow, Joe, the baseballs coming back.
I promise you, the baseball is coming back.
I just I need to re I want to format it a little bit differently.
I want to format it more like I do my football, and I wasn't doing that.
I just I just need a little bit of time.
I rushed into it, man.
I rushed into it.
I literally decided, like on a Saturday that I was gonna do it on a Monday, which I do that.
And then I sit there and go ****, Ray, you weren't ready, so I'm going to get more prepared a room already.
I promise you, by the time this season rolls around, baseball will be back.
Um, that's about it.
Guys, I'm kind of done for today.
Deep ensure Ana.
Ah, you want to call Chris and ask him when it's gonna start? I've been trying to get this guy to get things going.
I've been trying to I was supposed to have a meeting with, um and he's OK.
I'll get back to you. And he didn't.
And I don't know, man.
I'm kind of I'm going on and I'm going on a podcast the next week or so for a guy down here.
Um, he's invited me to come on his podcast.
It's all my come on.
And ah, is it? He started as an acquaintance, and he's turned more into a friend, really knowledgeable sports guy.
And I may bring him on.
I got some other things on the goal right now, too.
I'm very famous of stretching myself to Finn and then just like collapsing.
If you guys remember a couple years ago, I, um I got into that little beef there with Tyson from from his bling dynasty the time that his master at work and I was like, so exhausted.
And I was like, I was so exhausted, and I was and yeah, anyways, I get.
And he tried to, like, end the beef with me like a week later and to say, like, let's move on, Let's do this thing together and move on.
But it looks so exhausted was like screw and I just quit YouTube.
For two months, I tried to start another channel called B W Sports, which stood for bandwagon sports.
And I think I did four videos on that and I deleted the channel, and it was just It was a bad thing.
So I'm trying to keep myself grounded.
And I got some exciting stuff happening with SportsCastrs in the SportsCastr in the work right now, um, I write for Techno Hole, which is a brand of SportsCastrs.
You guys all know, um, I put out two blocks a day for them a baseball blawg and a ah patriots block and It'll probably be a patron.
Blogging a blue Jay Blah go.
It's kind of like where I'm going with it right now, so I'll just continue on with that.
So Lisa, get read my blog's Joe.
At least you could read my Blue Jay blog's and get my opinion on that.
But baseball will be coming back at some point on the show on the live show.
I'm just trying to figure some stuff out with them, but we got a lot of cool opportunities that are coming up.
But I can't talk about, um But I will.
I will be able to one day and ah, you know, I got to give the boys a SportsCastr, man.
Ah, such a hot tip.
Ah, they're investing into me and I'm investing into them.
It's been such a good partnership, and we just continue to have conversations about how to grow this partnership, like That's really where we are now.
Is two brands coming together as one, um, I truly believe, and they look a lot of guys who are on here doing this stuff.
I know a lot of you watch me.
I hope that you guys watch other broadcasters on here, um, and start getting their opinions.
And as it grows, a lot of the guys on here, though we all started as YouTubers.
And a lot of us are having conversations about like, man.
I just want to do SportsCastr like SportsCastr is the place to be.
It's a different crowd on SportsCastr, these air sports fans.
I realized that YouTube is different is a lot of trolls.
We don't get a lot of trolls on here yet, but I think that SportsCastrs also gonna help moderate that so that there aren't massive trolls.
This is where sports fans are gonna come out here and we're gonna talk about sports.
Um, there's not gonna be that patrol.
It's not gonna become the toxic environment.
Um, you know, if you look at all the SportsCastrs, man, we're all friendly with each other.
We message each other like we support each other.
We follow each other on Twitter.
We retweet our stuff.
Like where it's such a cool little group.
And who knows? Maybe this thing blows up and it turns into a YouTube for sports and other trolls, whatever.
But like, I think it's so cool that like there's this little core of us that came in here, like on the ground floor together.
And, you know, I thought, like, you know, I thought as soon as football season finished, they're gonna move on for me.
Like I thought my time was like, Don, Like I was like, Okay, like, I really enjoyed my time here.
All right? I approached it like a man.
Look, I really approached my I really appreciate my time here.
I gotta put my folks in the sport and the YouTube, though, you know, that's my revenue make about blood.
What were you talking about? Like you're a partner, man for life.
You're apart until you don't want to be our partner.
I was like a Sears.
You on one day, man.
I gotta be like a little fish that they don't even pay attention to.
But it's right now, man, it's ground floor, ground force stuff.
And I know what Joe's gonna say, Joe.
As soon as an android app.
Is that what you're gonna love it? You're gonna love it.
Um, it is something I gotta mention.
It is I have, ah, phone meeting coming up with, like the man like the main guy, the main talent guy.
So I am gonna bring up the android thing when this phone meeting comes up.

It doesn't work on an android like extends out.
If you click on the the link on Twitter, it comes up normal.
But if you go on the website it dozen, it's weird.
It's really, really weird.
Like it stretches out of blacks out.
I know exactly we're talking about I don't even know if technical technicals on APPA.
You just read it through the SportsCastr wrap up to look into it.
But I'm gonna find out if they're gonna do an android thing.
I'll find out for you guys. I will.
I will give you an update.
I know it's something.
You guys talk about it.
I'll be Honestly, it's something I always forget to bring up, but I'm going to bring it up.

And Yeah, I talked.
The whole lab will be great.
Um, but yeah, man, listen, here's the thing, though.
Guys, it's a start up.
And I'm telling you, they've already done a lot with with what they've done and how they change things.
And I mean this the pull platform to start on the website here has changed dramatically since I started.
So it's gonna we're gonna get bigger and better.
And you know something? I can't talk about some of the things coming down, but there are some cool stuff coming down.
And, um, the best part about it is whenever you watch him and you're all gonna be able to say that I'm really proud that one day I'll be able to say, you know, I was one of the Oh, Jesus, SportsCastr.
You know, when you guys would be the Ogi fans of SportsCastr? We were here before.
If you remember the early days of YouTube, man used YouTube, you stow.
It was an ugly website to use.
And now it's turned to this beautiful thing.
It's got APS, and it's all a lot, you know, But it takes a while to grow.
Man, be patient.
Be patient with them.
I talk directly with the guy who runs this thing, and he's in charge.
You know, he's the talent, you know.
He's in charge of a lot of stuff and he's passionate about a man and he listens.
The fans, they're smart, smart people.
It's all coming.
