What's up, people? This is Pat here, E with your barker.
I hope you enjoyed my little article where I redrafted the 2019 eh? NBA draft.
Uh, As you can see, I re selected Zion Williams and number one overall for the New Orleans Pelicans.
I think that was a no brainer.
However, it got me thinking.
How often is it that if you went back and did a redraft for a draft class with the number one overall pick remain the number one overall pick? So I went back through the last decade to check how frequent that to see if Zion was something spectacular compared to the other number one overall picks of the past decade.
So in 2010 John won't want number one overall to the Washington Wizards.
In a redraft, I think Paul George would probably go number one overall ahead of John Ball 2011 Kyrie Irving.
What number? Once that Cleveland Cavaliers, as great as he was for the calves guys like Oh, hi, Leonard Clay Thompson Ngeny baller role in.
That's a draft class, so I would take them all over Curry in a redraft 2012 we had Anthony Davis go number one overall to the Pelicans.
He's a no brainer.
You would re draft him number one overall 100 times out of 100.
Although Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal were also in that class 2013 week Anthony Bennett go number one overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
This might have been the worst draft pick in N B A history.
So Yannis and ended Cooper would go number one overall in a redraft 2014.
We had injured weddings, go number one overall to the calves and then get traded for Kevin Love to thee, Timberwolves in a redraft, Joel and Bead or Nicolay Yokich would go number one overall in 2015.
Weed Karl Anthony Towns take the number one honors for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In a redraft, he would likely be the number one overall pick.
However, Devin Booker is starting to make a serious push for that honor in recent years.
In 2016 Ben Simmons, one number one overall to the 70 Sixers.
If we did a redraft, I would still take Ben Simmons. Personally.
However, you could definitely make an argument that Brandon Ingram and passed out.
See ya. Come have surpassed him.
Uh, for that status, 2017 more count Fools went number one overall to the 70 Sixers and subsequently forgot how to shoot a basketball.
So if we did a redraft, Jason Tatum would go number one overall.
2018 DeAndre eight and one number one overall.
So the Phoenix Suns, if we get a redraft, the sons would absolutely not pick him.
They would pick Luka Don Chick.
And if not, don check, they would pick Trey Young.
And that would be crazy to not pick Don trick over trail.
And obviously two has 19.
Zion Williamson would once again go number one overall if we did a redraft.
This foreign taste career, however, keep an eye on John John Moran.
He's probably gonna win rookie a year.
And if Sion runs into sent some injury trouble throughout his career, John could be the number one overall pick in a future redraft.
That's all I've got tonight.
