Nick's family was popping.
Is your boy a big? I'm out on location or not in my studio, as you can see.
But we doing this nonetheless, ladies and gentlemen, the next took a loss tonight to the show will mourn its I don't know how much you expect it from the Knicks, but, hey, it is what it is, man.
We're gonna get run through this as the Knicks took another loss, another close loss that had to come back in order for it to be a close loss.
But they took another close loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
That's going to break this down.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks were in Charlotte tonight at the Spectrum Arena.
I guess that's the name of it.
A couple of guys that we really need to watch for out there.
Ladies and gentlemen, you're saying, forgive me if this is a little bit choppy but, you know, trying to do this We're trying awake tonight, trying to make it happen.
Make it happy tonight.
Gentlemen, A CZ You see? Going to the basket.
Give it off. Tonight's eclipsing.
My heart is a game.
He's good got that start over Reggie Bullock, but we'll see what that turns into.
You know, if he continues to start throughout the season.
As you see, that guy right there divides a gram.
He knocked out two of his 21 points.
The mark, A grand man is 61 guy's small.
Maybe to try to say that earlier didn't get a good I'd be able to get that time either.
He's small, but he's powerful.
Ladies and gentlemen, you see our J.
Go to the bathroom to the basket, Kick it out! The Mo Harkless My heart swings it over the jewels Randall Julius Randle knocks down the three, the next up 12 denying and in its came out, trying to hustle.
But then that girl right there, ladies and gentlemen, Washington PJ Washington He was hoping tonight for lease for the first.
Happy was open 12 points on the night beyond boat.
Biggs, mad beyond Bo, did his regular thing.
He had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists on a nice to see Taj Gibson not down another mid range jump shot.
And excuse me for being chopping.
You know, the Internet.
It is what it is, as you see Charlotte Hornets get to the basket.
Terry Rozier table gyp was that within Terrible J had 26 points on the night, the Knicks up 18 15 at at this 150.
18 17 after the points.
After the McDaniels, Jamie McDaniels goes to the basket and brings home Julius Randle returns it with a lay up at the other end, then accept 20 to 17.
The voice on the boards, and knock that down and you hear the air.
Come on in the back while because about the heat is joined up at the Cool it down a little bit.
You know, saying, See, Taylor's you're on the brake, goes to the basket and lays it in game tables.
You're 26 points to move.
You bounce for assists on the night.
Remember? A There were rumors, said the Knicks were looking to trade Julius Randle, but sales rose.
You're obviously we didn't happen.
I'm obviously getting happy. Behave.
The rumors were out there, ladies and gentlemen.
The Knicks were interested in Terry Rozier before the season.
Even beginning bark orders.
He spreads it out.
He knocks it down from three Bobby Portis again, having it had another strong outing.
Second leading scorer for the tape at 17 points.
Another strong outing for Bobby Porter's finding his way, finding his groove, beginning to find his group, the Knicks, down 28 27 to the Charlotte Hornets Hornets, knocked down another one.
Take the lead, 29 32 27 were now in the second quarter.
Ladies General Dennis Smith Jr So that's why he's Dennis Van Tonia.
He stays, is it's getting in shape.
Is looking better.
May not do anything you want, but he's looking better.
See what goes off in it with Dennis Smith Jr the next in the Hornets.
Tired right now.
Bobby Porter steps back.
Knocks down mid means jump shot.
Who? It's up 38 to 36.
He floats one in.
Kevin knocks on the night He had four points, two rebounds, two assists.
Kevin I've played 23 minutes 28 seconds because in the second half, the Knicks started Wouldn't moves to gain on J.
He gets in the land.
He lays that one in, but he misses it.
It ain't laying, and you laid it up but he missed it.
Robinson got put back Mr Robinson on the night he had nine points.
So I admit Chalabi's had 12 points on tonight.
Ladies, gentlemen got to give it up to him.
Don't wanna hold him back for what he had, and he also had 16 rebounds.
Big game with Mitchell Robinson.
He played 29 minutes tonight.
You like to see where for Mitch, but the next had a hard time stopping short Charlotte for booting things that they wanted to do.
It's up 50 to 45 at the end of the second quarter, and they come down and knock down at three and they go up by 10.
Mo Harkless, on a break he blames that went home.
Shot it up by six.
They're up by five top of the third quarter Childrens Randall Mrs Get Sober about Goes back up, puts it in Julie's.
Randall had 18 points and nine rebounds on the night Denis Leary junior out at the top of the Knicks down 59 53.
Then in his Smith, Jr knocks it in with the pull up jump shot.
Julian had nine points tonight for nine points, three assists.
You have four personal fouls into Pete R.
J. Bear R J Bird.
Had five points to 11 from the field.
Give us that much tonight.
Charlotte Hornets Go up.
Start to go up big Ladies and gentlemen, 65 57 now Big Miles Bridges.
He was my X factor for this game.
He didn't do what he has been doing, but he did have 10 points with that put back dunk right there.
Jump shot once again is didn't pull the Knicks within 11.
They got down 13 DeVante Graham.
He goes into floats it in divine say, Graham at 21 points on the night.
Five assists Dennis knew Junior finds Julius Randle along the baseline for the dunk.
Jury finds by our Julius Randall MP for the favour Way.
The Knicks, trying to try to try to stay in and tried to fight Kevin Knox for three, misses it.
But mix Robinson.
He brings it home again.
Mitchell Robinson Tonight.
12 points, 16 rebounds to assist.
He also had three block shots.
Now there's an Alonso truly exciting.
Ladies and gentlemen, you've just seen allows old chair running up the floor.
We're gonna talk about that, Kate.
We're gonna talk about that kid.
79 71 Now stay the 1 to 73.
The third quarter Hornets robbed the horns.
Bonus up eight and then bang.
Down to end of quarter or it's up.
Going into the fourth quarter, elephant painting kicks it out in the Bobby Portis.
Bobby Portis steps in.
Knocks that one down again.
Play good basketball tonight.
Decent basketball, at least by before this. One more time.
Pulls it up, Knocks it in Bobby Portis.
One more time, ladies.
Jimmy had 17 points, three rebounds.
I'd like to see more boards in that bay.
It is what it is.
But, you know, you got a place of defense to stop some guys and deal with.
The pigs were hurt and Gomez goes down the land.
He dunked that one home, but Bobby Portis gets the ball, takes it inside one more time and lays it in the Knicks game fighting his 91 82 Next down nine Helper paid with the book Out on the wing Gets it to a large old tree.
Alonso, chair! Ladies and gentlemen, you got some real burn tonight.
It's about time.
Help! A patient gets the ball! Lots of guests.
Who Alonso trip Takes an inside strong.
Lays it in amounts. True.
Had 15 points and 16 minutes, folks.
15 points of 16 minutes.
He was 6 to 8 from the field.
Give that man some playing time.
Get that man in the game he could produce for you out on a perimeter.
The horn is up 94 89 And there they go.
They're knocked out with down.
Ladies and gentlemen, Devante Graham, That kid is ice cold.
I've got to give it to him. He's ice cold.
See? No Malik month.
Look, Malik ******s, You see L for paying fines.
Mitchell Robinson on Al you, Malita! Mark was banging those suspended.
It's Alonzo Cheerier.
Powers is waiting inside.
And ladies that within Malik months suspended for substance abuse or whatever they want to call it You see lots of getting with the fadeaway paying knocks that one down the next, trying to stay tight.
It's gonna be a little bit too late, though.
Ladies and gentlemen, you probably needed Alonso traer a lot sooner than you got.
The Knicks loves this 1107 to 1 A one to the shop and Hornets.
Ladies and gentlemen and again, the Knicks.
You know, they dropped 17 41 As you see, the Knicks run up the floor and launch went up at the last minute.
It's not gonna be good.
And look, Nick's drop to 17.
41 in the Charlotte Hornets.
Well, you know, they're not much better than in Europe mix, but they were better on this night as they beat the Knicks for the third time in a role this season.
Ladies and gentlemen, most of the time it's hard to beat a team three times, But the Charlotte Hornets and there will be a next time this season.
And I guess Guess what? A lot of teams are gonna be able to be the next three times this season, so you know, it is what it is.
I was glad to see Alonso Trail finally gets a real bum, finally gets a real burn you know, maybe played 16 minutes.
He had 15 points in 16 minutes.
That's what this guy could do.
You put him on the floor.
He could get you some buckets.
Looking at the box score tonight.
Mo Harkless, you have 14 points.
He just did Mo Harkless things.
I'm sorry, not 14 points.
I don't know what you thought.
I had five points.
General Markers had five points.
Julius Randle had 18 points and nine rebounds.
Mo Harkless also had four rebounds to assist Julius Randle.
18 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
Tox Gibson had 10 points, three rebounds.
J Barrett, off night, had five points.
He was sued for 11 from the field through rebounds.
That's the reason why you see so much overlords or cheer.
Most likely paid.
Played 27 minutes.
He had six points, doing eight from the field, nine assists for Elbert Peyton tonight, but also had six tunnels.
Kevin Knox play 23 minutes.
He had four points, two rebounds.
He had 17 points.
He was eight for 11 from the field.
2% from the field shot 72.7%.
It was one for 200 point line.
You had three rebounds.
Dennis Julia had nine points.
Mitchell Robinson had a nice game tonight.
12 points, five for seven from the field.
He was seven foot.
Sinceninety has 16 rebounds, seven offensive rebounds, nine defensive rebounds.
He also had three blocks on the night. Maggie Bullock.
He wouldn't play 10 minutes tonight.
Lost this minister.
It seems like and make, I don't know.
Maybe it's hard to say, but maybe, I mean, Crazy Boat could play defense.
Maybe Mike Miller doesn't like all of his shots. Election.
But then again, Mo Harkless doesn't take shots.
This is a team that needs shots.
I know, but Reggie broken play 10 minutes for Alonso.
Cheer played 16 minutes tonight.
Again, he had 15 points.
He was six for eight from from from from the field.
They do much else, and you get any rebounds and get any assists.
But, hey, we got one steal, but you put him in there to score.
That's what he did.
And maybe now people will get it.
They did a lot of training.
Could flat outscore the ball flat out.
He is a flat out score.
You don't have saying he's a flat outscore.
Gotta get that. Got a ball.
Wayne Ellington did not play.
And again, once a game, you know you're gonna question Mike Miller's lineups because you see some players you're not seeing.
Other players gave me a doctor.
Now it's just, you know, a DNP.
Nobody really cares if he gets a D NT, but again like he's saying, Oh, yellow started.
Why not die? Why's dami dots and not getting any bone on the floor? The problem? Part of problem is, there's just part of the problem is that there's just too many.
It's too many guys that should be on the floor, deserved to be on the floor.
This does not mean that you have, ah, great team just because you have guys that deserve to be on the floor.
But there's so many guys at the doomed to be on the floor, you can't put a mauling.
You can't find enough space for problem face head problem.
Mike knows that.
How do you find enough time for these guys? It's tough.
It's very is really tough, You know, Um I don't know what to say, man.
Um, you know, we're at the point in season.
Of course, there's going to be just, you know, just kind of muddling through the season at the very least.
You know, some young guys didn't get a chance to really get some burn out there.
You know, you can at least look at that like, you know, no talk about your guys are J bird 21 minutes.
He didn't play well.
Kevin Knox, 23 minutes.
Then it's Julia.
20 minutes, Mr Robinson.
29 minutes and Alonzo chilled was able to get 16 minutes.
So we'll be some young guys got out there on the floor, but at least weaken.
But least we can attest to that.
Some young guys got out there, was able to place a basketball tonight.
Now, whether or not we want whether or not we lost most times listen, you already know what's gonna happen the next gonna lose the next given moves, you know? But anyway, ladies and gentlemen, I don't know how well be appearing on the Whereby is gonna work tonight with phone calls to work.
So if you wanna get saying I'm opening up the mike early, man opening up the mike early.
Talk to me. Give me a call.
516452246 Give me a call.
I want to know what you think about being what you thought about the game, Not how you felt about you know.
And you know, now we played tomorrow night, we turn right around and we play.
The Philadelphia 76 is tomorrow night, which is probably gonna be you.
You know what? We just took five losses in a row.
This is probably gonna be out.
Six lost in row.
You know, for all the tape tanks, the wing stirs up there, you know, we're moving down.
We're moving up draft position.
So you happy about that? I have all my thinks. The wings is outdated.
You say you can't lose forever.
Well, it seems like it's been forever, you know. You look at you.
Look at the season.
Right now we're 17 and 41.
I mean, they played kind of hard tonight.
No, Maybe they just played a bad team.
I don't know why.
Of course, they played another bad team, but they played kind of hard tonight.
Um, well, played better.
Maybe they had a just meeting.
And if you don't know what just meeting is, it's a get your **** together meeting.
You're saying that was one of my That was one of my keys to the game, man, that the Knicks just had to find a way to get their **** together.
And that's not even just talking about winning the game is talking about approaching the game with the right mentality.
You get your phone call, man.
She was going on.
Call it your love.
Another button's what's popping.
You live another, but needs what's popping.
But what? Your brother? How you feeling? That I'm feeling good.
Feeling good, Tina? Right to the point.
Seeing the tree exciting.
That's a good thing, right? Yes. Good thing.
Yeah, I think you're seeing him out there, you know? Goes right back to the form that he's been playing that, but I just came up with a theory.
It was looking like that. Okay.
So that they gave the first half of the season to Dr This is what I'm thinking.
So they can make a make a decision on the two at the end of this year.
So I think we're gonna see a whole lot more tree and second on the last 25 games.
Yes, to see which one of them that they're gonna have to really too.
Because I'm thinking when I keep both of them going forward because I think they both contract is up here, right? Yes.
Both of their contacts up this year.
Yes, yes, but for the contract's up this year, I think that Dotson got a really good look the first half of the season so they could make a decision.
Didn't going with trick and do in the second, because all of a sudden just started giving him for no reason.
Well, yeah, well, you know, in the Houston game, never getting smack.
So they decided to put him out there.
I It almost looks like the You know, it almost feels like to me like it's Is that a point? Was like, You got to e I mean, if you not put them out there, why not? Right, you're not winning s so you can't You can't say You can't say, Well, we not put them out there because, you know, he doesn't play defense.
So because, uh, you know, he's he's gonna ball hog every time he gets the ball.
We're not doing any better without him on the floor.
I'm saying so you put him out there and see what he could do.
Yeah, he's one of the most efficient players whether he holds the ball.
But not somebody got ahold of bulk of a problem making shots.
With that being said, anybody that can put the ball in the hoop, no matter how long you have homework to do it, you're doing more better than anybody else just standing out here without the ball missing shots.
I mean, you know, we don't I mean, you know, we don't wanna have straight, you know, Uh, just one person holding the ball without a ball movement.
You definitely don't want to have that saying it's not gonna be that ball on the ball like two extra seconds to make a bet.
He was Somebody told little second, you know, go with the guy holding the phone booth somebody on the team that's gonna hold the ball.
Every team has somebody you have LeBron dunking everybody, somebody in the booth, most efficient plants to me, no matter what it is, it should be the one that somebody has the whole of all.
You don't want that happen.
You want to be the one that's making, you know, I feel you.
I mean, you know, you wanna have inside the office where the ball is moving this barbarous man movement and things like that.
I think when you trade gets in the game, no.
And what the Knicks need to do with the money trail, it is just let him be a lot of trees on the offensive side of the floor.
But obviously he's gotta play defense.
But on the offensive side, just let it be.
You're saying let Hamel ball the way he balls? No worse than anybody else is out there.
I didn't have a problem with shot maker, not shot Patrik.
We don't have enough people that concurrent constantly get a shot at night in and night out.
And that's the reason why this kind of change again, you know, like a sufficient shooting with minutes, and I didn't even like him in the beginning.
If you put Bobby Warner on the floor here, is gonna make sure, you know, on a consistent basis it looks like he just got maybe a specialist or something.
But he has no make.
No way you could go shopping, came.
You can make it with somebody holding the ball.
So we need, like, you know, give him a pathetic, talented players 2nd 8 shots.
You know, we know it's early in their careers, though, but, you know, you have to be able to like existing in making shots.
Hi, Booth, A professional player to knock down the shot.
50% that's open 45 and that there's a problem with a talent level.
Don't worry about it.
Never been that we're picking.
You know, you could have descended into the ball defense.
Basketball is making game, and if you don't have shot, you can concentrate on the teeth. That's all you want.
You're not gonna win a game.
And right now, whatever you got, you know you got a specialist here, people that can do certain things that you know that they can do every night It's got a shot here every night.
You know, you could make it get his own shot.
We have, like, you know, tree.
You know, Randy to a degree shot, everybody.
I feel you, man, looking at some of the air about looking at some of the numbers from tonight.
I mean, we're talking about you were making shots, take a shot to make the shots.
That next shot 50% from the field.
Um, the only shot, 26.
That being said in lines, we should, you know, shoots a good percentage from the three point line.
64.7% from the fruit.
The Hornets, on the other hand.
Number 47% full.
3% from through.
They shot 76% from the fruit. Don't run.
The Knicks have won the boards by no small marginal When the boys by five, uh, the 20 to assist tonight Don't want 25 minutes with five steals.
Seven steals for the Hornets, Six blocks for the next four for the Hornets.
The Knicks were 15 turnovers on 14 but the Nixon they picking their turnovers have been.
They've been having averaging a little bit high, eternal work.
Over the last five games or the last five games.
They've averaged 17 turnovers.
They had 15 tonight.
Some of it could be, You know, Marcus Morris is no longer here, so it doesn't have the ball in his hand as much.
That could be a part of it, right? Because Marcus Morris, you know, you would hold the ball.
Uh, you hold the ball for your good portion, That shot clock sometimes, you know, that's gonna cut down on turnovers.
Now, you know, with the change in the way things are now, you know the ball is being turned over just a little bit more, just a little bit more.
But because the people that get the ball not, like, you know, making the right decisions in another thing that I feel like we're constructing the team.
You know what you're looking at the players and I think that they believe in do a good job over some of really looking that you've got a team with a bunch of rookies and things.
It's certain things that go with the game that you need.
You need somebody that's gonna be on the floor.
That's gonna be that you're gonna put on the floor, Jack.
Where you gonna find somebody? To a contract? You gotta look at the overall picture because it drives on the team.
You got better ones that don't freak over.
You've got young players trying to find that win.
That means you get a bad shooting.
Yeah, like one team should have somebody there that shooting enough? No, 90 high, these little nine that can hit that.
That's on the floor constantly because everybody else being dull today.
If you got a whole starting five out here, everybody is missing. Three flows.
You're not setting a place down the stretch.
It comes down to the game.
Did you have your free throws in physics with those? They won their game without three.
Well, but nobody on the Balkan constantly.
It frankly, and you can't have a nucleus of a team.
You have Everybody look at every team that's winning right now.
They got somebody up there on that Florida shooting, that little 95 from the free throw line that I thought and then giving you other things.
So he's free to say, I think that's a good component.
How, On a winning basketball team, I have an idea.
Speeds over everybody else.
It seems over me.
If you got everybody out there shooting 75% and your best players shooting 75 said your worst players going shoot worse than that.
Yeah, that makes a good player.
Robin Goats are trying to get to some other people will have a whole lot of times.
I appreciate it, Rob.
I don't have a whole lot of time tonight, but we got time to check to see if you're gonna get is where by working suit is whereby is gonna do its thing.
But again, you see the match up numbers for the Knicks tonight.
Um, you know what you expect, man? Another law spot in New York Knicks.
Let's see if we could get this way about going and talking to some guys in here right now.
Gambles in the whereby, right? Somebody else's trial joins.
Let me try and see if I could get gamble going first, and then we'll try to get these other guys in here.
Okay? I'm just like a new man.
I was just checking because, you know, I got I forgot to log out at home.
And now I'm at the hotel and I'm logged in.
And, you see, I got from love and twice, so I just wanted to make sure that you could hear me.
So Well, what's going on, man? This game in I don't want to hear anything about about traer first and foremost.
Thank God we dodged a bullet.
I'm saying I like I knew maybe he has a drug problem or a drug issue, whatever, but he just just doesn't seem like he's all there in terms of being stairs with the game.
And luckily, your next Dodge a bullet.
Was that? So what happened with that whole thing with Maliki? They haven't released what it is yet.
Uh, but it could be cocaine.
It could be wed, You know, it could be sick of the method.
I don't know what it is, but all in all, um, yeah, man.
Just his attitude to me.
Just even if he wasn't doing any drugs, Whatever.
He's just e I just don't find a guy who takes basketball too seriously.
You know? You see that you see the growth, the spurts hand in terms of performances.
You know, I remember last year he had a few games special against us where we could bomb threes.
But he's just is one of those guys who he's content with his money's content content with fame, he's in a low profile area.
He doesn't really care.
So thank God that makes Dodge that.
But back to the other guys were actually played a game.
Tonight was a little.
I mean, it is what is upsetting.
It seems to me now that I think Mike Miller just my theory, that Mike Miller knows that he's out now.
He's playing guys like Traer because it seems like it was Ah ah, system wide or organization wide.
The hands like not play trip because, you know, people say, Here we come about Knox, who knows? All those guys who slowed developed whatever.
I've pointed out some things that traded tonight that I remember when we first came on the beginning season.
I complain I until my Noah's I complain about things that was holding me back from from saying that there could be ah, start on this team and I saw that everything could be Ah, great start of Percy.
But this guy should not be averaging any less than 30 minutes a night, you know, I mean, I saw several times him tonight.
He trapped his guy on the hip once he's got it.
Once he blew past on the pick and roll and the guy tried to come to recover.
He made sure to trap the kind of hitting it a file line.
And so that once the big man either play him up close, that he could pass off to Alonso, said, Mitch, Or you could go and make a little float or the lay up or just attacked the basket from a close range.
I saw him do that two times.
I may have missed another time.
I started at two times.
I only bad thing I don't really do tonight was Ah, even though he didn't get called for you, he luckily got the foul call from you.
He stuck out his hand when he's driving on the baseline.
Everything else was so from trade and I, we say and complain about this and that this guy's go, you know he's taking the heart.
Whatever the coach say whatever people been saying, maybe scouts, whatever.
And it's just frustrating that this guy's gonna probably go to another team and beast.
In my house is Lou Williams.
And it's just the ineptitude of the Knicks.
Like they're gonna be taught other next headed guy and long ago when he goes and averages 50 60 points to give somebody else on 44 45% shooting.
Probably 39 40% 3 point shooting.
I mean, it's just I have no doubt what the hell.
We're doing it as a team.
But, you know, other than that, men again, Knox had a terrible game.
This boy, he needs to go down. That aji Li.
He had that nice little floater, But again, you know somebody shot.
It's almost like he's ****ked, like I got to do something like, you know, I mean, he's not.
He's not going to the basket.
Which strength? He's not using the size that he in the summer league, which is just It's upsetting, you know? I mean, I see guys like, ah, Miles bridges.
When they laid it up, they able to use their balance in their body to kind of create the space and get the angle with the layups.
I don't see that from true.
We saw an assembly, but he's not doing any more.
And you got me so and again.
He's not really offering anything much.
You know, you have four points tonight.
Um, you know, I don't really go the plus minus, either. Send it to assist.
Two rebounds, 23 minutes.
Trade has 16 minutes when six for eight field goal shooting, one for 23 point shooting, two for two free throws, 15 points for Ah, another now's really yet for one steal and a four person files.
And I mean, he within what his role was, was good.
Gives good more than for his role and obnoxious.
This boy is lost.
What does? I don't know.
Maybe there's another year where we don't have coast consistency. Simms.
So you can't really judge you can't judge it, really assess what's gonna happen for the future.
And it's so difficult and tough.
But certain guys should really just should not be in the scene.
I know you're gonna get on me.
I know you're gonna kill me for this But again I saw tonight, Will Randall.
Am I saying he killed us tonight in terms of he lost us the game too many times and I again I see him over dribble and get into double teams.
I'm just making a simple pass to get within to move the floor of the offense.
You don't meet people in the challenge of my old trail, you know, everything traded tonight, he's doing it within the flow of the offense.
In the context with which we were way, I feel I wouldn't say that everything was in the flow of the offense.
I mean, they were times Alonso tree where everything was in the photo.
I wouldn't say it was within its own offense because he he held the ball several times in like, you know, you know, general, the air out of it, and it took a shot.
I mean, I wasn't bad at it because, you know, if you put the lives of sharing with me, but I feel like I feel like if we put the lines are true in the game, he just gonna tell him to me go play your game and do what you do right, And that's but vestibules.
Why? I think you were blue, you know, until his game expands and develops a little bit to do some other things you know are, you know, play a little bit more within the flow of the offense.
You tell him, Go do what you do right, and maybe only get 16 to 20 minutes, you know, until you know he shows in terror until it grows a little bit more.
He still 23 years old.
You know about what they were playing it fully.
Even float offense, though.
Seven looking what, you just look at what I just said within the context.
When she came in, we were downright and we needed score.
Bring the floor.
The offense was to get it to the guy who create shots and outside of port is in those threes.
We really didn't have much in terms of maybe the little pick and roll, the really quick pick and roll it.
Paying it and Mitch.
That happened a few times late in the game, but the floor the offense was for create shots.
Let's try to get buckets that makes stops on the other end.
It was Hey, push the ball! Facilitate! Do the little trying to clear our Randall.
It was hate Get us quick buckets.
And honestly, I counted one time that he actually made the shot.
It was one where you made that little that ridiculous fade away.
I think it was weird about five minutes at three and he was overjoyed because literally everyone just stopped and it was already deep within the count of the course.
And so am I saying trad a perfect game, but it's like what you're asking to do.
That trick could have been used a lot more.
Of course, it could have assisted in his pants.
So So why What? Why isn't he getting be burned? This is This is upsetting.
And I think my nose is right on the wall and now he's playing This guy is like, he's a f in.
So they had to have been something from the top.
But they've been Steve Mills Perry don't want I don't know.
It just doesn't make sense that you have this guy or it was a kid of Sun Sim.
It was gonna be just traded for it was more Harkless, but it was harder that we just brought in his I V and playing whatever you really carries.
Whatever you know, it is what it is.
But a kid in traer who again he was what undrafted came from ours is like, Dude, let's see what he can do Because if he could be that late game guide and you know your you know what you said, you know what? You could build your second unit around you guys again.
The bald guy's a rebound.
Guys help defend guys that kind of build around that thing of tree like I like how the bulls the way Bank Gordon When he was on that team, he was scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Those ridiculous numbers mean, then you have your front unit.
That's how you build a foundation team.
We have talented players, you build around them, and whatever aspect when they come off the bench with their starters is like this.
This next team is just what we're waiting for.
Leon Rose to give us a green light.
It's like, I mean, I feel you know, the whole thing is kind of a mystery, right? With Alonso chill because he was like he said, undrafted.
The Knicks signed them.
Now the Knicks, they moved that they were going to sign.
This guy's a matter of fact.
Ah, Lonzo Chair was supposed to be drafted instead of Mitchell Robinson.
But the next thought that the Raiders were going to take Mitchell Robinson Alonso chair was going to be drafted in the second round in that spot.
Instead, they passed on Mitchell Robinson.
The mix out a chance to get Mitchell Robinson.
So they they you know, they call them up and said, Hey, we're gonna take Mitchell Robinson.
We're going to go with the big And if you are available to sign as an undrafted free agent, we're gonna sign.
The whole idea was for him to go to the Knicks, right? So then, obviously they signed them, understood right away that he should be here.
He doesn't even be a two way player.
He needs to be on the roster.
They gave him a nice contract to be on the roster.
I think it's like $3 million a year for two years or something like that.
Now, you know, it's it's just a mystery, like a guy that got you a guy that you can say Like like we were talking the other day about Allan Houston, right? And not the Allan Houston drafted.
Did the move for Alonso trailer.
It's probably Scott Perry.
But you were saying, like, you know, that Allan Houston hasn't gone in like, found players and all of a sudden you're going, Did you get them? They become a good plan N v A.
When you know what, Alonso chair was one of those guys at the Knicks.
Get a good job of stock outing, right? Found, um I don't want to say found him, but did a good job of scouting brought him in.
And then you give up on your own guy That could have been one of those one of those players that you were saying that people look and say, Oh, yeah, like they did a good job scouting.
Look out, they're developing.
This is doing that.
Then they give up one of my hour.
It's crazy any time you have a undrafted player and they could be produced at that highly looking Kendrick, None on the heat, you know? I mean, I'm not saying he's Kendrick Non because some people challenge like Brando.
I didn't say he's like Ben going.
I said, The production off the bench, you can build around those that that production off the bench.
Think about this. The Knicks.
Are we always talking about what is our foundation? What's our lineup? What's the proper line of what's the style of play? If you have a guy who can play a role very well, that literally solves one part of the puzzle for you don't have to.
We don't have to guess anymore.
Which is true as I'm gonna be a facilitator.
Not know he is a two guard, a combo guard, one of a comb who can score off the bench.
Took a facility a little bit, but that's not his court thing, But you can create off of his drives.
Like I said tonight, he traps.
Guys offer Dia's Jay's a point guard and he still does not know how to trap guys off the hip.
The DOJ what I saw from tonight, even though he had a decent game in some aspects, the sad thing that not say sad thing, but one thing I just kept like the realization he needs his athleticism because it's only it cz one speed and go, because if he is, if he gets stopped at the wing, what am Peter's progress? He doesn't know how to reset.
And actually creating offense from that tree actually showed he was able to do that better tonight.
A is not a prototypical point guard. He trapped the gun.
Is it every time? Do you know what that does? That creates, Ah, one on one advantage but to want revenge with the big man down low, you versus whatever the whoever's guarding a big man, the big man's that commit either way and traded that several times tonight like brought people do not understand their little thing where you talk about fundamentals.
That's even probably, I guess, advance on amends in terms of point guard play, whatever.
Some guys Tino, not a pick.
Whatever we talk about trade.
We used to complain about this kid.
He had tunnel vision when it knows that it was just one speed and go, he doesn't really He doesn't really see anybody else, and I see you tonight.
He does actually see other people.
He gets it and it's like why aren't the Knicks playing him, James? No one has to realize.
Stop playing politics, bro.
Stop playing family politics.
Where is a bring my cousin or not? Because my friends stop is not winning basketball, man.
You're gonna waste trays, go somebody else.
And now you're gonna You have to put Steve start on ESPN.
Explain why you let a guy and try to go on trips to play for the Lakers.
Sure, you get pregnant. Play for the Clippers.
Some contender is going to produce off the bench.
I love you, man.
I feel Let me let me get down here to some of these guys here, man.
The one thing I will say believe trade does want to be in New York, but obviously is gonna do what's best for his career.
But I do believe he wants to be in New York.
Would like to work this thing out in New York.
I say, I don't know what I said doing someone come to Kevin.
I don't know if he's walking and talking.
What's going on, man? And in Cem a gilman.
A long time no see man.
How you feeling? I'm good man.
I feel pretty good.
I'm in a hotel stuck in the hotel this week.
You know what I'm saying? So excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, that the sound isn't of the way that it normally is.
Excuse me, and I apologize for that, You know, I mean, I'm not I'm not in the studio right now, so the sound could be it could be crazy.
I don't even know what it sounds like, but hopefully it sounds good enough.
Yeah, well, maybe you sound perfect, man.
Don't even sweat that.
Going to sweat that, um, what I saw tonight, um, it's a complete disgrace in track and travesty that Ah, traer didn't get any meaningful minutes and the start or the middle of the season Me, you saw what he could bring, and they would not take advantage of his talents.
And we're talking about if he goes to another team, will be a real slap in the face will be a real slap in the face if he went to Brooke.
If he goes to Brooklyn because you know how cool he is with, um we, Kevin Durant.
If he went to Brooklyn, that will be a humongous bad look on us.
So let me ask you this.
Do you think that the whole thing about tria was a play for Kevin Durant? Because Because they're boys, right? So back in, you know, ah, Alonso chair played some basketball in Oklahoma City.
I think he played in Oklahoma City for a fur like a home school team or something like that before he, you know, went on to play or some other high level high schools.
And he got a chance to work out with you. Okay.
Kevin Durant, Kind of the game.
One of his mentors, you don't say.
And then, you know, they had a special relationship.
Do you think that the play for Alonso treated the Knicks not drafted by signing Alonso traer to A to a contract and then signing him to ah, deal was a way to entice Kevin Durant to come to the Knicks? Hey, you could throw it out on the table seven.
You can really throw that on the table because I don't understand.
I don't understand how a player with his ability um, I compared him the way he was starting out.
I was comparing him to a Lou Williams coming off the bench, averaging.
Maybe, you know, 10 15 whatever points, but getting you instant points and high energy, I was saying to myself, What did he do in order for him to not be getting the run that he got last year? Um, I blame a lot of this on the personnel that Mills and Perry had brought in.
I mean, I don't think there was no reason why you have to bring L.
I don't think there was a reason why you had Thio maybe not bring Bullock.
And there was no reason why a lot of these players needed to come in.
I know you have to fill out the roster, but with a career and a lot of the other guys, the young guys I thought should have been your core right there, because that's what we were going into this season with was the the mindset that this was our young core, and now that would come into the almost the end of the season.
What did we see? Maybe maybe 1/3 of that core with um r. J.
We didn't know what we were gonna get in him And Mitch.
Rob and Mitchell Robinson.
I mean, these are things that you gotta think about, and I know how how much, um, everybody wants to come down on Knox.
I want to come down on Knox to But here's a Here's one thing to think about border season again.
We did not think that Kevin Knox was It was not going to start if you had told me all Kevin Knox is not going to start with the beginning to see that You have told me this in the summertime.
I just said you're nuts, but he's not starting.
And he may say on the outside, Yeah, it's all right.
I could, you know? You know, I'm just learning and any excuse he wants to put up, But I think he had the mind set that he was going to start this season.
So you thought that Kevin Knox was going to start over? Move, Morris.
Well, now, here's a thing I thought I read somewhere that what wasn't going to mind coming off the bench, it was gonna be him and Portis and whoever that your young core was supposed to be in the starters in um and Mitchell Robinson and Kevin Knox.
That was the mindset going, you know, going in.
And then we'll Fizdale brought out this.
Oh, you gotta earn, which you got.
Ah, uh, kill what you keep What? You know, whatever nonsense he was saying, bottom line was they were all gonna duke it out for the start rolls.
I think that that we use the word a lot simpler being shook.
I think that shook a lot of their confidence.
A lot of people's conference C c I know.
You see, I always thought that once we sign Marcus Morris, Julius Randle El for paying Bobby Portis, those guys, I always felt that the Knicks were trying to.
I mean, obviously, we heard later wrong that there was, you know, this loose requirement to make the playoffs right? But I always thought that the idea for this season was signing those guys was to come in and put a good product on the floor that was going to Yeah, good leadership, A good product on the floor.
Maybe he wasn't gonna have a winning record, but I was gonna be a good product s so similar to what the Clippers and the Brooklyn Nets did it.
Maybe he didn't have a winning season.
But maybe you took a step this season and the next easy took the next step to finally have a winning record because, you know, you made some more moves.
That's what I thought this season was about, You know, me.
So I you know, I expected that.
I kind of expected that Marcus Morris was going to start over.
I thought that he was gonna put a squat on the floor that, you know, I thought that they were gonna put out a squat on the floor, like Like they're doing like they're doing right now, playing, you know, veteran players and then having the young guys, like, really learn and get some totally jungle.
That's what I thought that that's the way that I saw it coming into the season, right? And obviously, at this point, you know, you're like, you're not gonna win, you know, right? You know, just, you know, just just put some young young guys out there, let her play, you know? But they got in, but they gotta deserve the minutes to like Kevin Knox tonight doesn't deserve it, and it's He needs to be in the G League, right? R.
Barrett deserves the minutes. Mitchell Robertson deserves the minutes.
You know, saying I always start Alonso Trade deserved to have minutes.
I can't speak about what hap what type of things that would be going on and practice in the locker room.
I don't know about that stuff, but it's just from the eye test.
I would say it deserves to be on the floor, you know, saying, but still, you know, this is the reason why R.
J better it starts is because he deserves to start and he's better than other players on the team.
So he's going to start.
And the players that are better aren't going to start.
Plays that are better aren't going to get us much playing time.
I think that just is what it is, regardless, if the young or not, if you're going to, you know.
But if you're going to go and say I'm gonna play on, then you have to as a coach, in my opinion, as a coach, right? Oh, if you're gonna play the young guys, Did you have to just be like, gotta tell the older guys like this is these last 25 games, you guys not playing? Is this what we're doing? I mean, you kind of got to do that, and it really has to be communicated.
One right could not play for We got nothing to play for, right? Right.
So why? I mean, but but it really has to be communicated to everyone.
Because if you're a coach and you're going to stand on your laurels as a coach, right, you know, that sort of players are gonna be better than certain players, Right? Marcus Morris would be better than Kevin knocks.
Okay, Uh, Marcus Morris is no longer here.
Uh, you know, sort of players are going to be better.
And that's a coach.
You gotta play the plate.
You gotta play the people who are better, and you deserve to be on the floor.
That's what you have to do on a coach.
If you're going to stand on your laurels, if you're gonna go a different route, then you really got to communicate with all the players.
And you got to say, Listen, you might deserve to be on the floor.
But this is what we're trying to do right now.
Sort of like they did with, uh, DeAndre Jordan last year, right? He really You just gotta do that.
Are they going to do that? I don't know or or or you get rid of all your veterans.
Wavell, do whatever it is.
And so the only thing you have is young guys to put on the floor and you put the best players on the floor.
You're saying so? Actually, that way you can have Ah, um, it's it's hard to have a mix of players where you got veterans who are better than young guys.
But you're playing the young guys because you wanna you know, you want them to play.
But you're not really communicating that to the veterans or, you know, you don't communicate it, and you just put him out there on the floor.
They may not deserve it, So it has to be has to be a way you gotta do it the right way.
I would say I would say that with you saying that I think that a lot of egos and a lot of feelings will be will be really tested.
If they go that route that you're saying communicating that we're gonna go with the young young people, Um, a lot like us, The the Eagles, M B and the feeling's going really, really, really be tested.
I think out of all the veterans, the only one that really deserves minutes being honest, I think on Lee, Taj Gibson is the only one, because throughout the whole year, he's the only one that's really put in that work.
I mean, besides, you know, Randall and and, um, and Morris when he was here.
But I think that it was different with Taj was that he was sharing the ball where Morris and Randall they weren't sharing the ball at all.
Yeah, well, uh, you know, I don't know.
I mean, you know, I think it is like you always say it is.
It is what it is.
But right now you've got he in the, um, and Julie just tearing it up and really hasn't had one one game where he's had significant minutes to see what he would look way under pressure under pressure or how he would react to the floating gay.
He hasn't been in those meant we won't know.
So I think the new management that's coming in they have to really, really show, uh, show a presence of wanting to really develop these kids.
Because if we let these kids go, we let these kids go, um, like a tree here or, you know, if not really doesn't come back and everything.
It's gonna make us make the organization look bad because they didn't spend the time to really develop these players.
Yeah, and, you know, big shot out the tree, man.
Because throughout the entire season, and I know in the beginning of the season, there were people you know who was saying, You know, all these things about that, You know, he was the one who was complaining about playing time on all this stuff.
I've been told the balls.
You didn't look like it at all.
No, he was the consummate, um, team player out of this whole process.
Yeah, because I realise is that once the season ends, unless the organise manage, make your really wow me.
I've been thinking, you know, I know what you're saying.
That he wants to stay in New York, but again, he's thinking about his future, and it's gonna be he Can you save himself? I can't go through this next year.
I've got to go to a place where I'm going to actually play.
And it was no reason why he shouldn't have played this year.
There was no reason why he shouldn't have played.
I blame that on his tail.
And I blame that on unfortunately because I like Mike Miller.
I blamed it on him as well.
Oh, and did you hear the, um did you hear the interview that they did on? True that Mark Berman had known traer yesterday.
He was trying to dig at him and everything.
Yeah, that's it wasn't trying to get baby.
He wasn't gonna wasn't doing good.
Oh, I'm glad you don't sing clear.
Let's take a minute.
Let's take a listen to trigger in this post game interview tonight after playing the Charlotte Hornets.
Hopefully you can hear it.
Obviously, I'm not an officer in the studio and I don't have the same connection, so you may or may not hear it.
You know? So here you may need Thio jump onto onto the stream because you may not hear this.
Although everyone else listening, you should hear Alonso trip.
Let's take a listen to Alonso trader in his postgame interview.
Tonight's after dropping 15 points and 16 minutes roast the Charlotte Hornets.
Listen up, ladies and gentlemen, in with a chance to win this one down the stretch.
How would you evaluate the last couple of minutes this game? What kept you guys from eating able to knock this one out? I think we played well towards down the stretch.
I think we just got myself a whole coming on to the second half.
And then any time you do that makes it a hill to climb.
And maybe I'm gonna get back in the game.
And but it's always a little bit harder to get over that hump you produced well in Houston again here tonight.
You know, Coach just mentioned that he felt like you've worked really hard over the All Star break.
What part of your game have you worked on? And how did you see that payoff tonight? Continue to work on my craft every single day hasn't been just off star pickets when every single day this season.
So being a constant professional, supporting my guys, if my number's called, I had to come in and try to be productive.
But if it's not, I got, you know, be supported.
My teammates tried out different ways so that when I'm seeing doing those kind of things, and there you go, ladies general, that was Alonzo Trail, you know, talking about just his time in his experience, not playing and what he's got and where he's going and has continued to do.
Thio, you know, to stay in it, keep his mind in it, to keep his head in it.
You know, even though he may not be playing and he's done a good job.
He's been a professional, you know, saying so.
That's a big shot out to him.
He's been a professional.
You mean let me get to Isaiah and hear what I say is talking about.
I know you got something to say.
What he's doing is sitting in the dark, you know me.
That's why I'm not calling on your eyes.
They like you're sitting in the dark.
No one can see you all these wild stuff, man.
What's going on, man? What's up? How you doing, man? I'm good.
But a man's, um I'm just, uh I'm just I'm just I hate this season, You know, I just ate this season.
This season has been a complete, utter waste.
I mean, the Knicks are literally east, west, south, north.
I don't know what the hell they're going is just getting more frustrating by every game.
The fact that we have the weight to see allowed contraire this whole season when Kevin knock has been utter trash this whole season.
I mean, I don't want to understand what's going on.
It's just the destruction.
I just like No, we have no type of direction.
Is this frustrating to see that would just I don't know where we're going said and it just really scared because we have a lot of potential.
But it's just like the Knicks don't want to pick one path like you were saying earlier.
You know, you you would think that the veterans well in the beginning of the season was with guide.
The young guys showed him how to play winning basketball.
So how did persist in them.
It's a position to be good.
But then it's like everybody had the only gender people just doing whatever they want to do.
Good day in New York.
It's just so it's just like, Can we get some? Structure is like, What? You know what sin is? I remember what we had, Jimmy, Jack.
Those are the kind of veterans reading, but it makes you know what I'm saying.
Well, you know, I mean, listen every time and I'm not trying to take any, you know? Yes, I am.
I'm going. Take it.
I'm gonna take my credit finish every time I said I would love to have Jared Jack back.
People laughed at me.
I know that, but But he was what? He He's the kind of guy that the Knicks needed for this team to help.
You know, times get to this one of those type of guys, too.
I mean, but look at this point, it's No, it's not even like, like, some of the things you were saying.
There's no reason to even go there because we don't know what the direction is gonna be.
We got a new president coming in, probably Sunday.
I think I think he's going to be.
They said Mark, 1st March, First march 1st, right.
So march 1st is win Sunday.
I think it's Sunday.
So so, you know, starting march 1st? Yes, March 1st.
This Sunday starting march 1st, we're gonna have a new president, right? And that new president is going to announced some kind of a plane.
S o t go on about the structure and all that kind of stuff.
It's neither here nor there now, because But we're gonna have a new we're gonna have a new plan now is troubling that we have a new plan of game, right? We get two years of our supposed plan with Phil Jackson.
And now, two years I was supposed to plan with Scott parents Steve Mills.
Now we're going to get another guy, but But I'm here.
So you listening? Yeah, I'm listening. Tiu.
It was I don't know.
Maybe it is just killing me some because it's like man, like you just said that six years, you know, that's what we're supposed to be coming out, that someone would be coming on becoming consistently good.
And I'm like, six years and Now we gotta do another 45 years of rebuilding member.
I mean, the good thing between the difference between those things that I can say which is a positive, which I'm really scared about.
Lillian Rose about where he's gonna go.
I'm just gonna pray and hope that he doesn't talk about scars and talks more about getting drafting the players and getting the guys that we have cap space.
And we have draft picks, which Phil Jackson didn't have.
You know, Steve Mills of them started to get it.
So it's just like I praise him.
No, in this conference, doing his press conference, he doesn't talk about, you know, getting stars to New York.
Please don't talk about getting stars through New York.
We have young plays in here that you can get.
We're gonna draft, you know, we're gonna just the high player.
We just can't go back, Sam.
And we can't go back to the old, you know, from 2003 toe 2010 of trying to get these stars and tryingto some mediocre players and just sign on the B list.
We can't go back to that.
That's gonna kill us.
We're doing the young guys, at least, you know, try to keep doing with the young guys.
Picked the right players.
We we need to get a **** coach.
We meet Ueno are that way.
No, all that and that's going to happen.
We know all that.
We get that we get the one thing I will say.
And I hate to say it to you as a I really do.
Right? Because you're driving.
I don't want you to get into an accident.
Okay, Now you got the light on.
Now I could put you on the screen. Finally.
I don't want you get into an accident.
So did you pull over? Now I'm about my house.
So just, you know, don't freak out on me, But I really do feel like Leon Rose is gonna come in and talk about trying to pull in big free agents then his purpose, bro.
That is his purpose.
I'm telling you, them it is his purpose.
That's what I feel.
I feel like that's his purpose.
Hey, Sam, can't be honest with you in my stomach and my gut.
My gut is telling me he's going to do it.
He's gonna talk about stars is gonna talk about you gonna start here crap about Johannes and all these other dudes and cat like, Oh, you know, Cem, I'm just like, Oh, my God.
There it is to the point where it's like I want You know, Sam, you understand how bad I want to take my father instead of mixed parade.
Before, you know, I just want to take my dad to a Knicks parade, but it's like we keep having these guys coming years.
Well, it was just like, you know, the only parade you're gonna be like.
That, too, was the Puerto Rican parade Man in the Puerto Rican Day parade Before listen, Thio, let's take a listen to Mike Miller.
Ladies and gentlemen, the current coach of the New York Knicks.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is New York Knicks.
Answer. Make coach Mike Miller. Let's take a listen.
Spot three minute video chances to win this game down the stretch.
But then a couple critical turnovers as well.
How would you sort of evaluate the last 23 minutes of this game? Well, it's hard to really look at that part.
Just way had about probably.
They're really inconsistent.
Play 25 plucks that we put ourselves in that position, that we had to come back and almost be perfect.
So, you know, that's that's kind of where we let our margin of error when we came back inside five minutes with zero.
Obviously, you can't You can't make any mistakes because of what we had to overcome to come back.
You know, the positives you look for.
We had some guys really play well in the fourth quarter, on drily came back, and that's why we stayed with him, you know, it was you know, they were doing the work.
They were had something going.
They were They were sharp together.
And so we kind of rolled with it, you know, with that group to the end.
And guys that aren't out there a lot in those situations.
But you know what? They got us back in and they gave us a chance.
One of those guys.
Clearly, Bobby Portis.
Was that why you chose not to go with Julius Randle late? I think he's at the entire fourth there.
