But you know our boy You guys will notice the watching.
The little square of Gary is missing.
Gary is actually still out in Arizona.
Ah, he's coming back tomorrow.
So, um, good luck making it back.
But we have stories about how Gary tried to kill us, and that's gonna be a lot of fun to get through.
But on today's show, um, Maur roster Bai Shen Because baseball is actually happening now, we're all very happy.
Um, you wanna explain what frost operation is? Because we've got a lot of a lot of questions.
I mean, people never heard of Ross to be.
Apparently not No, there's a lot of people say two's later on in this show.
You gotta you gotta stick around the rotation.
What we've played at this 0.
3 games and the rotation is already set.
But it was already pretty much set before today, so, yeah, so we'll get Maur into that as part of the roster being Siri's.
Brooke and I will have more.
A czar, our boy, Charles Hammell over on Facebook, asked.
Right now, some fellas, How is ese? We'll get to that about second half of the show.
We want stories, We got stories we got.
We got stories for sure.
What's a good stories? You hear this? That's because we have all died.
How you think it's It's the good way.
Tyler Roster. Bates daily.
Thank you if we have time, which I really do want to get to this because it's coming up pretty soon.
As of now, the day this ah podcast side of this release, it will be exactly one month to the day until Opening day are thinking right now.
It's one month today because it's weird wearing opening days on between 26 but but there's no okay there's 29,030 you know there's a 29.
There's no 30th but there's a 29th and oh so much more on the way we are gonna leave here.
My friend is turning eight.
He's like 35 36.
He's turning eight course to give a shout out to our friends over there in the upper right hand corner.
You guys will see him on the podcast side or on the video side.
They are our friends, and we love them.

But of course, after the stream, yeah, make sure you do it after the street because we're more important and we matter more.
Uh, then whatever, I don't I don't know.
Whatever you guys don't forget, this is a live stream, so make sure you guys drop into the comments wherever you're watching from.
Uh, we got Jermaine over there watching for Marino Valley Mow Valleys.
Every fan from each team needs that visits the Astros.
These bank trashcans to the team is the beginning.
Don't you know that was hard to read? You know, they they're the magic.
I had a stroke reading that most sorry team is what Jermaine is saying.
So again, let us know where you're watching.
We We have decided to officially not talk about the Astros anymore because we're bored of it until next week or next month, or whatever the hell it supposed to be when the Red Sox thing comes down because you know that's gonna be fun.
And that's gonna open up a hole, that candle.
What's a whole other thing that way? We like opening up cans of beer over here from our friends over a Figaro mountain.
We got the Santa Barbara Citrus here, and this is a tasty beverage was really for me.
Dodger man 51 50 says, What's up, everyone? What's going on? Dodger man, I hope you get your crazy fixed.
Ah, Manfred s who went up a taco ct three went in Game one.
He did? Yeah, Katie says so much.
How many times you all say roster? Bai Shen and Tonight Stream, I think, were upto at least 12 times.
Well, Brian Baker, he's excited that Alex would is back.
What do you guys think? Question.
Work? Yeah, that's something that we We will talk about the street a little bit today because he pretty much said Ham in the rotation.
Yeah, without so much saying that, Hey, I'm in the rotation.
We're having anybody say that. Hey, you're the rotation.
It's the second time he said that much because he did say that at, Ah fan fast.
He is like, Hey, you know, I signed back here to be in the rotation.
I think it was that fan faster.
What did he say? It was somewhere, but he's like I hadn't resigned with this.
I was assigned to be a starter.
I resigned as starter.
It's like in the office when Pam pretends to be office manager and she just speaks it into existence.
She's like, I'm the office manager and they're like, you're the office manager.
I declare office manager.
It's the same thing he's just like I'm a starter.
Dave, obviously, you're a starter.
Well, I mean, that's kind of this jump right into it.
Um, as the roster is less coming along, the rotation is definitely set.
Ah, some combination of Kershaw, Bueller, Price areas and Wood and buy some combination.
I would put a bill.
I would put money on that exact combination Dave has said.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has said, and we have find video over on youtube dot com slash Dodgers Nation TV.
Ah, if you're watching it there, subscribe, please.
We're putting a fantastic videos.
Gerry's out there shooting his ass off.
If that's an expression roster.
Beijing videos thes roster bating hard over there watching Walker Bueller pitch to Corey Seager and other things.
Well, seeing naked Corey Seager also in the locker room.
But we'll avoid that stuff.
It's just part of the job.
Part of the excitement of the job.
But, ah, Ken Gurnett keeps kind of pushing that narrative.
Hey, who's gonna be your opening Day starter? Who's gonna do it? Doesn't do it on Dave's like I know who.
We're not gonna tell you.
I'm not ready to make that announcement.
Yet I really like you think I really, really like how Davis just kind of annoyed by it like it doesn't matter.
Like in his mind, he's like It doesn't really matter.
Like I know you guys think about it, but it doesn't I think fans think it matters.
And I think there's like a certain what you call that, like, uh, excitement.
I don't know excitement.
I guess my like.
People think that there's no such thing as an ace of the staff really anymore.
Even it's not even really a real thing so much, Um, you put your best guy out there on any given day doesn't really matter.
So in terms of like you're Opening Day starter, I wouldn't say that it has to be like your number one guy.
Sometimes it's ceremonial, it happens like that.
It's not like you have to win the first game of the season.
That's not what it's about.
And I think today that's that's what Dave alluded to a lot.
Maur Gary actually asked, You know, when it comes to the opening day starter and didn't get a chance to plug the video into the stream today, but go and check it out.
It's Ah, it's a good Ah, good video.
But, um, you know, Gary was asking, you know, Is it something where you're looking at other things other than performance things outside of performance and Dave's like, you know, Yeah.
Which means Kershaw starting opening day.
And the only Kershaw stood should start opening day.
I mean, who's not in on Kershaw starting opening day? I mean, the dude's earned it.
Um, what's a drive line? He went to Dr Line so automatically, because he's a way.
We got three Dr Line boys now, Um, and his rival head coach, Dr Line coaches.
We kind of sort of bounce around with that.
You know, we saw Can lease first outing on Sunday.
Ah, I mean solid enough to Kay's.
I think what he topped out at, like, 93.
He was, Yeah, he had 93 a few times on the gun, and I think when they talked to Dave Roberts after the game, he's like this time last year he was like 86 88 miles an hour on the gun, so that's encouraging to see of topping out that early.
I think from what I heard from other people is Cutter had a lot of run on it, which is mostly what you're looking for.
You're not, You know, we're not so much concerned with velocity so much anymore we need.
So we need that cut and cut, because if it's not cutting its ah bad fastball like a bad forcing.
I mean, last year it was kind of sort of cutting, but it was more dipping.
It was almost like a bad slider and just dipping into the sounds like dipping back slightly back.
Yeah, so he's throwing up it in and it's coming right back way we've had every time we've had the opportunity to cover Kenley and his cutter and Dr Line stuff, we have posted it on our Dodgers nation dot coms go check it out.
But one of the last things he was talking about is is, you know, getting the right backspin on the spin rate or whatever, but keeping the ball up because it was dipping into into bats, essentially, as we saw last year.
Um, but, you know, we haven't seen Kershaw in a game.
We're going to see him on Friday, and nobody announced Friday's Kershaw Saturday's Bealer, which is a point number two of where you can imagine that Kershaw starting opening day.
I like I like when he said, Can we read into that? You could read into that.
However you want that however you want.
But the idea of, ah of Kershaw being what? 31 32 now being old, old and going to drive line.
He I did this story about it last night, you know, um, and athletic patron, more of the athletic jumped in on that, but well, it was his story.
And then I read it and stole it all.
But, um, there's no pay well for me, boys and girls.
Well, oh, so you're saying is they don't have to pay to read your stuff, but yeah, but Kershaw, I think he really thought Dr Line was just the ply Oh, balls.
Just the weighted balls up until the point where he went there.
Oh, well, they actually teach you things, and they have videos and stuff like mechanics e you just through heavy balls of the wall.
I mean, the top of your you mentioned Lay and singlet has had some fine pictures come up.
They'll throw it aside, Grey being one of the more recent ones.
But just about everybody like Dustin May came up through there and all that.
So oh, boy knows what he's doing.
And he's one of those ****ytic guys, you know, Uh, your boy s D Dodger.
Tim Rogers knows a lot more about Connor McGuinness, but I'm sure we're gonna learn more about him.
And guess he's labeled as the assistant pitching coach.
So you get that kind of stuff.
You start to get the excitement of, of imagining Kershaw being Kershaw again.
I mean, he was good last year, and a lot of people might not realize Kershaw was second on the staff in wins above replacement, and he out pitched, if you will, he outpitched Ah Walker Bueller.
And the same time you know, you look at Bueller, it's like maybe he's ready for it. He's probably ready for.
We know he's big game ready, but at the same time, what's the like? Why force them into Why rush him into it when you can have him go against your number twos and steal a win and then all of a sudden David Price, who? I don't know.
I mean, how are you feeling about David Price? I think it's weird that we haven't seen much.
Remember lately? Uh, I mean, he's an older guy.
I say older, but he's like her shoulder.
Uh, he's Ah, like you look at his numbers and you're like people.
I don't know if people had a weird reaction to it where they were, like the David Price.
He's been washed for years like that's the really good number three guy like you look at the rotation and how it's been for the last couple of years.
Like in any other rotation.
You're like dance a really good number three.
He's gonna have, like, a 3 to 3.
That's kind of just given, unless he has a bounceback year, you know, and just like every other three spot in every rotation, like that's what he's gonna be.
So he's a He's a decent number three options, so I'm excited about him.
I'm hoping like something changes with because the Dodgers do.
You have one of the best coaching staffs in terms of pitching in baseball And so they have a tendency of turning people's careers around.
And they've done it time, time again.
So hoping to get something positive out of this coaching staff of hoping they could turn something positive out of him.
But regardless, if he has the exact same season that he had last year in Boston like it's good season, I thank it for what equivalent? What's equivalent to like $16 million a year for him? Sold Easy, easy decision.
He's better than Geta for sure, and at the same time, Yeah, better than Kent.
I think he'll probably have a better season than re you.
Being in Toronto now on the turf is not gonna play up as well for him because the ground ball guys grab all day.
Um, but yeah, you can add somebody like that.
You got some Ah, Cy Young Award winner in the past to your **** current team and he's not really Expectations are super low for him.
Just show up and do what you can.
D'oh! I mean, that's that's gonna be, like probably terrible were high on it.
So be on the injured list and then boom, Ross Stripling will be right back in the rotation.
Let's pull a few comments before we get more into Ross Stripling because I do want to talk about a boy.
Why are Obbo Watts? Um sorry.
We're a little behind on the comments here, but Anthony on Facebook is watching from the harbor Saw Fields Go Mamba Seat does Southfield Joe Bennett's in Anaheim, the former future home of Ah Russ Ross Stripling.
Fernando is glad to be back in season.
Kiwi Dodgers watching all the way from New Zealand.
Smith, Petrovich Smith Smith Rajic Front of anyway Spanish A J over on not the guitar but on the YouTube says that Fig Mountain is a great brewery and way agree.
We agree for sure.
What? What do you have? Any? We got shot at the Santa Barbara.
We got a boy straight.
Nasty, I believe, also said hi to you.
There's there's one in there for you somewhere.
That's just just for you, though.
So, uh, is a sweet Gonzalez says.
I, too, went to Dr Line this winter.
My bourbon is much more efficient so far.
That's really good age.
I'm guessing you're talking about that.
What I want? Yeah.
Uh uh D J Jimenez over on YouTube's says Cody Thomas with that great catch the other day.
That's Ah, another EVP, Cody.
Yeah, seriously, Cody taught a **** and stole it down.
Um uh, that puts you on the radar in terms of Dr Finn's.
I mean, you think about what Cody did a few seasons ago in the spring training.
Nobody really knew about any cranked one.
Almost out of whatever the hell they call it and call the Milwaukee.
It's like great American life.
Globe Stadium, whatever.
But it's a beautiful complex in Arizona.
Nice spot out there and air Zona.
Manny asked, or you have one.
You think you had one I don't have on Felix Reyes is couple Washington. Welcome.
Welcome, Felix from Tacoma.
Ray is where I say Manny asked our says, as versatile as Kanto, though when it comes to David Price No, no, but we have I mean, he did kind of like do a lot to the Dodgers and 2018 world Siris David Price station out of the bullpen.
Still, the fact is they can.
He couldn't hopefully get right handers and left unders out, and it'll be a good addition to or be nice to actually have somebody that you can believe in as your number three guy and not that'll be a first and not like You know, Rich Hill.
Going is our fourth guy last year, duct taped together and also literally, quite literally, duct taped together.
We literally Neverland Taylor Spencer says.
Seeger seems to be better already.
Uh, you have a note on that? I do have a note on that and it Here's my note.
During his worst stretches, he does this thing where he's pulling his body off of the ball really early in a bat's.
So the bats staying through the zone.
But his body's flying out.
He's doing that this spring early in batting practice.
Cooper sales, says Dad.
But Cooper, you breeze in the street.
We said, Dad, uh, Cory's doing that thing where he's pulling off the ball.
Really? Really. We saw him do it here. Live VP.
When we, uh, when Gary was out there recording, we saw him do it during his first game.
Your feet where whenever he's doing that, that's when he's grounded out first every single time, like the same exact play every single time.
So hopefully he gets into that.
Can fix that frequently enough.
But you know, the he needs, he needs a good year.
He needs a good 2020.
Um, that's all I have to say about that.
Uh, we got a note coming in from Gary Live via the Internet here saying, Gary says it looks like Cody gained some weight.
He's not a skinniest last year.
So is that more off season pizza or that intentional? Cody gains the weight.
You know, people buy you drinks.
It happens, huh? He did look bulkier like he didn't look chubbier.
He looked like he was.
He's been lifting. I don't know what he's been doing it.
That's a good question for him.
Gary, if you see him at some point while you're out there asking for that, there's more.
He probably He probably changed it more of a weightlifting program like he got in the the showy Otani weightlifting program.
Are you seeing that? You know, See, Otani, he's like Johnny Sonic's Jax.
Oh my gosh! Did his shoulders look like Dwight Howard shoulders, right? Oh my God, it's just less Superman.
We have somebody from Antarctica in the stream right now so that you lied to me.
You know, that's pretty cool.
Is it a puppy? But yeah, that's a That's a name that's on here's used, Lee asks, Do you guys do we think Jimmy Nelson gets, ah, start in the season? Um, no, I don't know if if Jimmy Nelson somehow make starts early in the season, something went terribly, terribly wrong.
I mean, as of now, Ross Stripling is is the sixth option because once again, he's kind of getting asked out of ah, well deserved rotation spot.
I mean, some of it.
I wouldn't say it's his fault, but it's kind of his bodies fault for I mean, he did have that neck shoulder thing that happened last year when that right when they're about to plug him into the rotation again for the stretch run.
So I mean, that's not your fault.
Injuries aren't your fault, but still, the fact that home point just can't really crack the rotation is tough, so e I wouldn't be surprised Jimmy Nelson gets a start in front of Ross I think Ross is about to go.
He's gonna He's not gonna like that juice.
Lee also asked, Do you think we'll have more starts this season? May or Gonsouland? I could take that one thing.
Dustin may well have more starts than Tony Gonzalez was consul in.
It's gonna be solid out of the bullpen.
Yeah, I don't actually don't think Tony Council will get very money, starts it all this at the major league level.
I also think consulate and they both start the season at Tripoli.
I wasn't really paying attention, so I said that I think they're both going to start the season in Tripoli.
It is not a hot chick.
Um uh, you know, I saw, but Gary follows up by saying that he went back on dairy.
He ate cow, didn't just drink cow.
Well, he ate and drank a cow.
That's called a milkshake.
But but back thio, Jimmy Nelson.
I think it was yesterday the question was asking It might have been by Gary because I told him to ask it about Jimmy Nelson and his kind of fitting in with the team.
And, you know, sort of what his role is going to be because he's been, ah, sort of sidelined with arm or shoulder thing.
Jimmy? Yeah, boy.
J Bone over there.
Ah, but Doc said that, you know, he kind of mentioned again the Brandon Morrow type and and, you know, it looks like if he cracks this roster Ah, he's gonna be more in the pen.
Yep, in his stuff plays up out of the pen and he has a better career. E r a.
In a way, way, way.
Fewer outings, for sure, but it's definitely better out of the pen was a starter, that's for sure.
I think there's, ah more of a chance hit of him being released then him actually making the team.
But that's just where I'm feeling right now.
That's been my prediction is I don't think he's gonna even crack the team at all like regardless, you, regardless, regardless, and now Serena's mad at me for for saying she hates that so much, that okay, uh, Taylor says.
Didn't Robert say that Johnson will be the bullpen? Maybe on opening day to you, there's a possibility he'll be on.
There's a lot that can happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Guys, that's the thing.
That's what spring break is kind of four.
I think the past couple of years we've gone through a similar thing.
We're like, You don't have room for this person.
This person, this person is etcetera, X amount of people, whatever.
And it kind of always just ends up working itself out.
Roster always finds a way to work itself out by spring training.
Whether that be poor performance or underperforming or injury, It kind of happens.
It's just natural.
That's the flow of the game.
I'm sure there'll be three or four guys that you know feel not well enough to make the opening day roster.
They also will end up on the 10 day d I o 10 days.
Yeah, it's 15 now for the pictures.
It's still 10 for position players, right? I have no idea.
Basically haven't over baseball.
Cool seemed to, um and one of them was this weekend.
We went to the game.
Yeah, I forgot my son's green.
Oh, Selina's man.
Look, Look at you.
Selena misses FRG.
But I mean kind of doubling back to to where we started with this.
You know, the fact that the starting rotation has been essentially announced so early? Um, like they haven't done that very much.
Usually, Dave is like Hill Hill.
Give the appearance of competition.
He'll let Ross feel like he has a chance and that he's welcome to.
He tends to let it run for a while.
He doesn't say it this early.
Ever usually goes the other way around.
It'll be, Dave will say.
Here's our Opening Day starter like before, like right after pitchers and catchers report.
And then because it's always been because it's always been Kershaw, except for when his arm fell off last year.
And then and then it's the last last minute.
It's gonna be all.
Here's our fourth and fifth guy, but now, while it's not Garrett Cole, you still have quality arms at each spot.
Like I feel this is probably the best rotation ever in a while in a long time.
You saying the crypt the rotation that included Chris Capuano is not our best rotation? Where's your Brian Anderson boys? And pressed F from the chat for Brian Anderson mashed that art, But he's still playing.
Yeah, he's still playing and he, uh, is with Milwaukee now.
And he's still talking about what we had like Anderson and Brandon McCarthy and here in or whatever.
That was sad times, man talking about duct tape starting with over the weekend.
We're talking about it with Strip and Coop about, you know, when Ross made his debut, or I think it might have been at the big Swing Live podcast, which, by the way, that that really went over.
Well, big swing at baseball is baseball is, um, baseball in Scottsdale was cool.
The Alana stories were great.
Hopefully there were some some technical difficulties and audio stuff that kind of made it tough, but, um, they figured it out.
They figured it out a whole lot of hopefully it recorded.
And that will become a podcast like an actual pot gas.
And not just alive, You know, one off, because it was a good time.
It really did go well.
Kyle Farmer was electric do Kyle Farmer's.
Yeah, I know that.
About about home white boys.
He was cracking me up.
He kept jumping on the bike to say something.
All right. Cow farmer.
He also looks a lot better with, uh, uh, long hair gave, he says.
Ellen, the chat for branded league.
That's That's a name to make you mad.
Friend of the show, McHale says.
Petition for Brooke to add the bobblehead of himself on the bobblehead wall.
Do you have a bobblehead of yourself? And why the hell is it not even have a bobblehead of myself? What the f Will you have a job? And it used to be on my desk.
I quit, said Job.
That's a now it's on my kitchen.
Oh, yeah, By the way, Brooke Brooke works with us full like, full time now ISA work when you can see it, but we're all very excited.
Um, Brooke Brooke does goodly words, and, uh, he's here with us, and it's gonna be super important as we bring you all of the goodly content.
So cheers to being Ah, a friend being a lot anyways, anyone Can I put my bobblehead back? Yeah, I would I would strongly encourage I look like I look like a Mormon.
I'm wearing like a white shirt.
In fact, I am offended that it's not up in the up on the shelf already.
By the way, put me next to your eBay puppy, but three on twitch.
Ah, Mashed in El in the chat for ah, for Katie's brain and league. Yeah.
Good call, Puppy.
But J Dodger, girls 66 is welcome to the families are saying thing he just somehow upgraded from, like, cousin, cousin to brought brother.
Brother, brother, uh, was that this'll Nice kid for the show.
Um, Ryan More brings up.
Josh Beckett is forgotten.
Threw a no hitter in 2014.
Yeah, but he was another one of those guys.
Like, did you really want Brandon? Are was his name Josh Beckett To be your number three guy in the postseason If I never liked us? Beckett.
Something about his face.
Just tell me the good dude. I don't know.
I've never heard anything about it before her, but I just didn't like it.
They have various to like in that four spot, even though I mean, this is this Is this a make or break you for 100%? It has to be right.
I mean, there's so much anticipation from him personally.
I mean, it's a tough situation.
I think if Ross were younger or was the other way around, like like like Arias was a little bit older, like Ross at 30.
Obviously, he's **** fine.
Pitcher is a former All Star, but he's not.
He's not an upside guy anymore.
It was like, Hey, this is what you get, which is, you know, ho hum three and 1/2 e r A.
Which is something you want to plug in anywhere in your pitching rotation or whatever, but we're on your pitching staff.
But But with Urias, it's like he's still, even though he's been up for, like, 40 years.
He's still just 23 me and a dating site, right? That's where you like Goto.
It's not what that is at all.
That's what do you go to make out with cows or something? That's that Amish paradise, Not that's not right.
Any who's all, Um yeah, with areas.
He was gonna get his chance, and then he got hurt.
So now it's like, Are we going to finally see what you're about? Even though to me personally, I think the I would call it the the I mean, maybe it would be the best.
Um, I can't think of the word right now.
Alignment of the of the staff would have Ross in the rotation because it's very left handed, dominant and the stat.
The bullpen is super weak on lefties, and we saw what Julio was able to do at the pen.
Yeah, maybe they do some with that.
Eventually, I think it's been proven that Adam Claire cannot get out where handed hitters.
So basically, we matter because of the new three batter rule Cleric is useless like I mean, he's probably a nice boy.
I've never met him.
But, I mean, he's essentially been rendered useless, right? Yeah.
So now we don't really have any left handed relievers at the bullpen that can be effective against lefties and righties.
Got Scott Alexander, who I think still plays baseball, really sure haven't seen him in a long time.
He's no, he's throwing for some reason at camp, but on top of that, like what do we have people? Women, people get a lot of right handed arms.
A lot of potential from the right side.
Bruised are There's Kenley.
There's Dylan Floro still alive.
Joe Kelly, Joe Kelly.
Okay, Lee, uh, then I say by I did say, Pedro open with him, our patriotism.
Pedro still around like there's there's a lot of odd arms that kind of sort of don't make sense.
And then you get like, guys, you could be Kayla Ferguson.
There's no way he's on the opening day roster, but he's a left, but he is a lefty, and the need for Lefty is gonna be a thing.
Lincoln's ghost, YouTube says they should've never dropped Sadler.
I like Casey the like Sadler.
What? The problem was that he was a guy who didn't have options anymore, and that just does not play, as you know, the 24th 25th 20 on this roster that does not play on.
Fortunately, um, we had Frank also brings up Caleb Caleb Caleb Ferguson.
Yeah, he's one of those guys that, uh, his they said his curveball is basically it's not as loopy anymore, you know, that's one of the things they said.
It doesn't have as much of a loopy arc to it, cause I think people were picking up on it a lot faster last year.
His fastball is really good.
It was very noticeable.
Yeah, Fracture says It was loopy.
He got crushed last year, his limited appearances.
Remember, he went toe like a pretty solid guy out of the pen to like a guy that you never want to see on your roster at all.
He was terrifying for for a good little while.
He's he doesn't.
He doesn't strike me as a guy that you just give the job to you right away.
I don't think that's a guy that you kind of gotta let him work stuff out minor leagues and dominate there for a little bit before you give him a job in the freaking Open.
But yet Gary importantly, notes that Scott Alexander is very good at Ping Pong.
So, um so welcome to the team personal foul.
But it is not, uh, who's Casey crap.
Okay, see, Crosby's the pickup.
Is that good play? Casey Cross? Casey Crosby is.
Sidney Crosby was like Crosby's lefties, like 100 mile an hour guy.
I haven't seen him at camp.
I don't think you know he didn't know If you get in an R.
I invite, but I trust her Invite Invite pin number.
Right. All right.
I Yeah, Gary, if you see Casey, I don't know what he looks like, but the left handed any throat was really hard.
That that's all I've got.
****ysis that is at Brooke.
Me three works here now, trying.
It was like there is another guy but another right hander that that guy Oh, boy, we ever needed a reliever to to succeed.
We need that guy to succeed Joe Kelly.
Gary typing out here, Um, the Oklahoma City, The Triple A starting rotation.
And you look at how exception like we talked about it out in Arizona, like this team is so good, you could really probably have to Two separate rosters.
And? And the scrubs that don't make the team their quote scrubs that don't make the team would probably still compete for the NL West.
I mean, if you if you split the teams evenly for sure those to compete for the inner West, it's just the top to you.
Dustin May Tony Gunson Juice.
I agre Caleb Ferguson.
And then there's gonna be there.
Any number of the random Mitchell White will be there as well.
Like that's a very, very deep started meditation.
And any of those guys could plug right in to the big time.
The Big Dan, like immediately.
Um, Maura, the roster. Bai Shen.
How many more is that? I think we said it.
A few more tones for that in there.
One of the final things I want to know before we get to your question.
That juice Lee had actually always get the juice leave first because it's more topical as we're talking about, the the Dodgers are being good.
Enoughto win two NL West juiced.
Who are the top teams in the NL that will compete with the Dodgers this year in the Neon? Oh, yeah, it's Atlanta.
I don't know why I got since he's kind of a sleeper, I feel like since he's kind of asleep, right? Sleeper, but they know they're not deep enough.
It was It was talking to Kyle Farmer about that a little bit, you know, there's a good friend, a good friend, kay for Michael, and, um, you'd be surprised he you know, he wrote the company line, saying that we feel really good about our chances this year.
Wow, He's not gonna be like we freaking sock man.
And then and then we talked crap about the ST Louis Cardinals, whom I more than, like they're going to get that division.
There's a chance that the Cubs will be better.
There's a strong likelihood that the Cubs will be better, and if not, they're probably gonna trade Kris Bryant.
Which is another question we had earlier in Stream.
Should the Dodgers go and try to get Chris Bryant? My retort is, Where do you play him? My retort.
Isn't that, Yeah, I think the Braves.
I think the Braves air one of those teams.
That's gonna be a pesky all year long.
The Dodgers always kind of seemed to find a way to handle the Braves, even when they're really good.
Um, so I'm not too worried about them, but they're young, they're fast, they're strong.
Is they got their rotations getting better? It's not any wars.
Unfortunately on, you know, I think they're gonna compete.
They're always a pain in the Dodgers side, though, and they're very sounds of this year.
and they have pitching this year and they have hitting this year.
Central's gonna be pretty middling, but I think I think pretty **** solid for sure.
I don't know if it was a comment from somebody and trying to find Gary.
Gary posted it here into the stream cause we're all still working together despite the fact that he's he's an hour together.
Future, he says.
If you split the Dodgers into two teams, are both teams better than the Anaheim Angels? Yeah, because their starting rotation is already like 10 times better than Homeland Angels will take it so bad.
I just realize that our Triple A rotation is five times better than the Angels starting rotation.
The Triple A rotation would put the Angels right at the top of the A L West.
Yeah, if you were just like they take our Triple A rotation is looking for a first place team.
You'd be like the first place they'll team you.
Look at the trash rose.
They don't even have what beyond Verlander and Greinke, who are more than likely gonna see some time on the injured list this year, Who do you think you might just quit the Astra smock.
You is barely Air's coming.
No McCullers back and that's it.
You come back from Tommy, John, He's not gonna throw 200 innings unless they're dumb over there.
Right there. 120.
So they're gonna be, uh, interesting.
And so let's just for fun so we can get the big leaguers or we can get the our Triple A pitcher's some some quality time against major leaguers.
Let's just gift them to the Angels so they can face better competition than they would a triple A thoughts.
And so let's just see what happens.
If I were MLB commissioner, I would allow this.
Yeah, we just got to get our guys some meetings anyways, so we'll just let him go play for the Angels trade.
It's a bar you could borrow.
And in exchange, we get Mike Trout forever at me. MLB.
What up? I just fixed it a fixed A fixture.
Ah, final thing I want to note on the roster.
Bai shen here is mochi says, lead me off and leave me there, please.
Um, that's something Doc Roberts doesn't like to do two days, one or two days before he said, Yeah, we will probably do that.
Haven't leading off.
We might see him, you know, getting sometime in the two hole against certain right handed pitchers.
Just leave him, Let him do his thing.
He's used to it.
He's done it for the He won an EVP leading off He had.
He scored 135 runs.
Led the league last year.
Yeah, let me off.
He should lead off.
Uh, you know, he likes Doc's really big on mixing up the line ups every day.
You know how he is.
He's going to do that.
So afraid Menace.
Uh, here's one for moment is Hey, guys, I was wondering if you had any info on Andrew Tools.
Unfortunately, does not look like Andrew Tools will be making a return to baseball anytime soon.
I would be surprised if he ever made her interest in baseball at this point.
So now 27 now he's too old toe make a comeback after taking essentially two years off, though 27 he'll be 28 in May the end of May.
Uh, I'm sure you probably saw it, and some of you guys might've saw the story, too.
about Yadier Alvarez, former like top prospect who just couldn't find the strike zone.
He I don't I don't know if he just randomly showed up to spring training.
Well, nobody was expecting it in terms of, like, media and Ah, they're they're kind of test driving him off the roster, because if he's gonna be on the roster or if he's gonna pitch in any of the big league games, neither Cactus League games.
He has to be on the 40 man roster because he was added before last season, so they don't want to release anybody.
For some reason, Josh bores lives.
Have no idea why.
Why he was saved and not Casey.
I mean, Sadler Yaki settlers beyond me.
But, um yeah, what we're talking about, Josh.
Course we're talking about our giveaway.
Uh, guys got to remind you that we are giving away this sweet, sweet Justin Turner.
Signed bat, uh, signed as an autographed by the man himself.
Not by us. We're not doing it.
So go to dodger nation dot com slash giveaways and ah apply for the bat at Dodgers nation dot coms Last giveaways.
But we that will be going for one more week.
The contest ends on was the third, the fourth, whatever.
Next Tuesday is the third Tuesday, third at 12 noon.
Ish Pacific time. Thank yous.
Difficult time speaking.
Speaking of Pacific.
Oh, time And we got some stories for you.
Children were way Have Ah, I feel bad that we you know, I kind of brought up Mookie, and then we just sort of moved over it. That's okay.
Well, usually we'll get back into it a little bit more, but what? We're in Arizona.
Um, you know, we we attended the the big swing thing.
Ah, live podcast.
Had a good time.
And we went on a date afterwards.
Tim was out there, and Ah, it turns out I was talking to Cooper and they were at the bar right next to us.
We're watching the fight, and, um, we went over to the bar and Ah, the short version of the story is me.
Brooke and Cooper drink all of their Pacific.
Oh, it was a good time.
They sold out of Pacific owes. Take care.
I mean, it was an interesting spot like they just They didn't have a fridge.
They had a cooler.
And I mean, I have you ever been to a spot where it's like it's like a college bar? But it's like a I don't know.
It's like an adult school college bar.
It's like a college bar.
If the college had on Lee people that were going for computer classes and they're all, like 45 up there's an interesting bars.
Cool time I fit in really well, Yeah, we all fit in really well, Yeah, but it was nice time, you know, we were over there, um, met steroid.
There was there was an angry guy at the bar.
It wasn't angry, but he realized muscles were he realized.
I know that guy.
That guy's a Dodger pitcher, cause Ross was there.
Stripling, Mr Chicken Strip.
And, um, by the way, its title this episode Beer and chicken strips.
Because we did have chicken strips while we're in Arizona.
That was the one healthy meal we had, Gary the one, but, um yeah, Ross Ross bottles of beer.
So we're super thankful and I owe him a beer.
Now I think we Joma beer because that's only fair.
But now it's cool.
It was going out.
There were way met.
Ah, Mrs Strip and Mrs Coop, they're very, very cool people.
And, uh, we we stay.
We stayed up all night swapping manly stories in the morning.
We made waffles, but be unstable night because we had to work.
We also don't make waffles.
You make waffles.
But Cracker Barrel it was cool doing stuff, but it was It was a tough a tough weekend because Gary tried to kill us.
Because the second Brooke and I roll out to Arizona, he's like, Let's go eat all the meat.
So we went and ate all the barbecue, all the barbecue in the world.
And then we ate all the unhealthy food from there on out and two large pieces of deep dish pizza that almost ended my life in my career.
But don't forget, we pre gamed the deep with wings with and a salad the best way I could describe it.
Colleague a very appreciate you.
Best my stomachs, my ever felt in the worst has ever felt it since.
So forget about the Mexican food in the middle from that.
That spot before the Ross Bar.
Oh, yeah. Tacos.
Yeah, I got talking.
That is how you tried to kill.
So I was very sizzling.
And then they end up kind of cooking onto the thing, so I should have beaten him faster.
But that's your fault.
No, it was a good time.
Uh, Rain killed our our buzz in Arizona.
Right? We're to make the day worse.
Let's go out and do a bunch of stuff.
The It was raining.
You guys saw that on Saturday.
The game, all the games, I think.
And Cactus League got rained out.
Except for the Dodgers.
Did the Dodgers game probably should have gotten rid of because the Giants were like, Well, we have a new stadium and we're sold out.
Well, we get is a point of stupid giants.
Disappoint everybody anyways.
Yeah, I got blamed for the rain.
Somehow I don't know how that's my fault, but people were upset that I was in a zone.
So I'm sorry for being alive.
Everybody, that's on me.
Ah, what else happened? Good happened there.
It's hard to think of like what my my favorite moment was because it was good times.
We did see a game.
We ran into our old pal producer T.
She's doing well.
She got her fancy movie coming out Eventually.
At some point, we assume it's on VHS and Beta Max only.
We ran into deejay Severe at the park.
Yeah, he was taking pictures of the fans. Good guy.
Friend of the show. Check that out. D J And, uh and, uh, Peter.
So it's a nice time.
It's a nice time.
What was your guys River type in there.
So what do you guys want to know anyway? Says chicken strips are not healthy.
Raising Keynes is healthy and I won't take any slander.
That's the chicken ****.
Yeah, I was like we had chicken strips.
I don't remember that at all.
Like my my lady's car that we drove out there apparently is afraid of rain and kind of sort of semi broke down, but not really.
And then it fixed itself.
So that was cool.
J on periscope says, tell us more about steroid Tommy Lasorda.
Basically, it was a guy on the list sort of jersey that looked like five of me and bald.
He was just jacked in China.
This He was probably a nice guy, but I was too afraid of him.
Gym tan Laundry.
Jim Taylor? Yeah.
But says, what Matching tattoos did you lovebirds get? What were we supposed because we went there Is under together, huh? Yeah, it was a good one puppy, But that was the you coming on full time honeymoon.
Is that a thing? Yeah, man, that's a tough waiting to get the gig full time like that.
And then, All right, let's let's drive for 100 hours in a toaster and you know, to see what happens.
Yeah, adds up there guys anyway.
I don't know. I don't know.
I really didn't know where to go with that, because there were stuff.
And we can't tell all the good stories because that would be a breach of confidentiality.
But I will say, and Cooper sales is a good time.
Good people, Cooper, apparently tweeted.
We apologize to you guys for boring you this way.
Podcast sides really gonna play a bone this Cooper says sources close to myself gave way.
Take all the Pacific over at the bar.
Cooper Good call, by the way, also had the insider scoop about, you know, a few hours before that Jock Peterson had dyed his hair blond.
So that was That was a legendary moment in all of our.
All we did was laugh.
There was nothing else we could do, even though we're James Brown was in the house.
Even though he's not, he's not.
He's not playing yet just saying, because he's like so many things.
Aaron, Whatever jocks hip, you know.
Ah, okay, I thought we talked about James Brown.
James Brown brings up that.
He's confused anyway, since we ran out of things to talk about there because there's only so much we can really say.
Arizona's fund perfect service in five degree weather.
Arizona was, ah, grand old time, except for when it rains.
Um, hey, they instagrammed something about that.
Next thing this ad read was alive.
That perfect weather all the time.
Of course it's not, but it was very good is pushing for, you know, not rainy times, but we'll have more on.
There's another stories when Gary's here in the human flesh.
When he gets back next week, he's gonna have a lot of stories.
You know, he was the one doing all he was one *******, if you like, in terms of getting stuff done.
Yeah. Thank you.
Um, one of the things I've really been wanting to talk about because we have I've been doing my, Ah, my investigating, if you will, on the status of the Dodger Stadium renovation all off season long, watching all the little things, watching the things come out watching, you know, parts of concrete get broken, watching holes Be very, very not with stuff on them.
And ah, I think this week who are next week, the Dodgers will actually host another.
They're gonna have media come out and look at the stadium in what was supposed to be pretty much like sat four opening day.
Because it's a It's a good long ways off in my personal opinion, but we're gonna show this video here for at least the video side, you people on the stream, and and yeah, and enjoy in ways his renderings of Dr That's your early look at Dodger Stadium, as we expect to see it in about a month.
I got opening new tickets.
I have a ticket opening a ticket.
So am I just supposed to do the post game here by myself? Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, We're going get rope here.
Going broke Live from the stadium.
Maybe we'll just go there and do it, then face time.
I'll facetime from there.
Yeah, that that sounds great.
Well, the good Internet.
So for the podcast side of this that didn't see the video.
There are a lot and go to dodger nation dot com for more on the renovation updates, but it doesn't look like that now.
And there's a lot to be done before opening day.
I did speak with someone, um like to say this under the condition of anonymity, on to see an enemy.
Spoken to CNN to me about this, but, uh, somebody who's working at the on the project, I think they're doing, like, electrical or something like that.
You'd be surprised I was at a bar with them.
Why? No, I've been known to drink, but yeah, he's like, you know, it might look okay by the time opening day comes through, but the guts ain't gonna be right, right? Yeah, And I think the Dodgers play six games and then go on a roadie for, like, nine days, 10 days or something like that.
So this is gonna be like a constant work in progress.
Under it was part of those rendering.
So there's other renderings that have been posted on on Twitter and on on the website.
You know, there's a bar that's gonna be under the pavilions now, and the thing would be even remotely done with that.
There was when we went to the Mookie Betts Presser.
There was, ah, big old giant, gaping hole behind both of the pavilions that have since been filled.
Um, as of like the 21st or the 20th or something like that. So it's getting closer.
All of the concessions that were part of that outside area are being built in different factories all around the U. S.
Per Janet Marie Smith, the VP of planning and development, all that kind of stuff.
It's interesting to see how excited they are, how much they think it will be done in time.
And and I'm just like who? I don't know, man Have you seen any of it? Really? No, not yet.
I haven't really been in the stadium in a minute.
But I've heard from you.
Gary points out there is an idea to show Janet a video.
I don't know if I'm supposed to say this view type, but I'm gonna read it.
I'm going full blown.
What's I think you're about to delete it.
Uh, the building, the hospital in China being built in, like, six days.
So I mean, I guess it could be done.
I was told that construction crews airplane.
It's working, I think, 20 hours a day, Not all at one time, but, um, yeah, they're working a lot to make this thing happen.
Glad Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
Not the hospital.
Is there like American workers that we work in a different piece? And yes, you need brother.
Today, the Dodgers announced the the homerun seats that are gonna be available at the front of of the pavilions and surprise.
They are really expensive for the low, low price.
I think I don't know if it was opening day.
I just saw the price.
I haven't looked into any of the prices yet, but $155 I saw somewhere like Like what? Like how much I bought a ticket last year to a Marlins game.
Uh, never heard of her and grow a waas.
$16 bro, eh? On step up like Marlin's Triple A Away.
That's the same thing.
Oh, uh, Brian Baker says.
There's like four different crews going on a Dodger Stadium.
Of course, Dan from Kelly says, they're getting the aesthetics done last.
Don't listen to an electrician's.
Maybe maybe not another guy look kind of dumb.
And I ran into him at a bar and witty or so you know, what do you expect? But I hate the way I'm very excited.
I do want to see this, Uh, I r l as the kids say.
I don't think they say that.
Do they not see that anymore? They don't.
Ryan Morris is Ah, he thinks they bit off more than they can chew with those renovations.
I mean, they that was ah, a lot.
It was a heavy undertaking.
And I mean, imagine if the doctors didn't get bounced three weeks early, they would be very much, um, as the kids say f in the A Oh, they planned it out.
That's what you're saying.
That's why Stan Kasten, like, I need you guys to lose.
Look, I'm gonna need you guys to get knocked out early.
It's real inside baseball stuff, right? Yeah, Katie says Dodger Stadium was turning into Disneyland.
Renovations happening, Wallets open. Yeah.
I mean, that's probably very accurate.
Yeah, I think Ah, I don't know.
There's like I think it is the one that was being built for a long time.
And I just thought we saw, like, the other construction sign.
Remember what it was? I don't know what you think about Disneyland about rich young stud on YouTube, says Does anyone care about the 76 logo on Dodger Vision versus the L.
A logo? Do you have an opinion about that? No.
I mean 76 the doctors are fairly like, synonymous with each other.
For all of the history of time and other time, all of the history of time, time left, time, That's That's it.
That's it, buddy, but says it's so good Brooke and calling from the parking lot when, when you're at the stadium like I couldn't call it to you? Yes.
Uh, Roach Roach dropping another robbed your **** for Brooke.
Do you? Nobody robbed your **** gifts.
I got sent after the show.
Like I'd be tweeting about something entirely aside from baseball and somebody just respond with Rob.
Dear **** thinking that my wife's like, you got to look, I grabbed your **** and I was like, No, I'm done with you.
So anyways, long story short.
All white people look the same.
Cats can confirm Christopher lances with that GT A six.
Yes, yes, it waas.
It looks lit, actually looks kind of cheap.
If we're kind of going with that.
Ah, straight nasty 23 brings up.
The important point is as long as it's done before the All Star Game, which is the ultimate thing they are looking for because there's a lot going on that's kind of contingent around.
He'll start game being a thing.
Bambino, 21 asked, will be closed off on another twitch user will be closed off the freeway.
Siri's no actually of Dodgers have two games at Dodger Stadium as part of this year's Freeway Siris on Monday and Tuesday and the opening days on Thursday.
So they have less than one month to complete where they're at, and they haven't even that.
It's like the skeleton right now is of the Ah, the batter's eye is sort of laid out, but nothing is is close to done with that.
Every single thing behind the pavilion is dirt.
As of the last time I saw it, Okay, Right.
The circus Olay is taken up a parking lot.
Volta Mars, Volta Circus away.
Something like that.
Nice kid from from the show? I don't think so.
Day from Syracuse, in the stream day and from Cali.
Cali asks if we met Chase Utley in Arizona.
No, no, we did not. Gary did.
Probably not Those guys that I looked like dentists.
I saw Sonny banging people.
Really? Is the implication.
Young stud says a personal think the l A logo looks better than the 76 logo.
Yeah, but you don't gotta make money.
They don't make very much.
How much do you OK if home runs seats are 155 American human dollars.
How much is like a beer gonna cost this year? Do that I don't want it.
How much is a Michigan? A ****les.
They're gonna cost the hair.
They were Mitchell otters were 22 $22.
I think they were $22.
When you upgrade to Amici, depending on what kind of beer you is there, like 22 to $24 I would buy one.
I would still buy one if they're $25.
This is, uh What's more, I don't know what my limit is $25.
I don't think I go past $25.
I think that's okay.
I think that's where I'm like.
This is enough. This is where I make my stand.
I could see Gale showed up late because Gail says, I thought the doctor said the pieces that would go behind of Alien are being built off site.
And yes, that's what I said.
So wow, Rude? No.
All the stuff's in Canadian time.
All the stuff is being built elsewhere and will be brought in and kind of the one of things that scares me.
It's like they hope they expect them to snap in kind of like Legos.
But what happens if they don't know who.
Well, well, here's the thing, guys.
I might not be able to afford bigger this. You have to stay here.
Oh, man, Raymundo, our boy says.
Brooke looks like American headlights.
Alleged Brock Stuart.
Uh, everybody's all the same.
I think I That's that's like a spot and good Brock Stuart reference.
Bless up breasted beast.
We love you, beast to a friend of the show. Nice kid.
We never met him.
Many met his dad.
Lt's we met his dad. His dad's nice guy talks a lot.
That's about it Anyways, guys, you guys could find us on the Internet at Dodgers nation dot com.

We didn't even bring up the Astros, barely a sliver.
That makes me happy.
We got to talk about pitching.
We got to talk about Mookie San.
Let me lead off.
We didn't even talk about Mookie's Ah, Kirk Gibson esque type speech, but that kid's gonna be a difference maker.
And, um, yeah, I'm very, very excited to be talking about Los Angeles Dodger baseball again and writing about it again at dot com Subscribe to this podcast.
