And welcome to the broadcast. I'm Samuel.
He's coming to you live right here on SportsCastr.
It's time for some Tuesday afternoon, you eight foot Champions League action.
The round of 16 1st leg between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
As we got a nice through ball here, Caballero comes out to make the same for Chelsea.
All right, as I start my broadcast, what an opportunity for Bayern Munich.
Thanks so much for joining me this afternoon.
So glad to have you all here and we're currently in the 28th minute, so I couldn't be on from the start.
I got back from school little while ago, got home, ate a snack, prepared for the broadcast, and ah, got on right now and I'll be on for the rest of this one.
Levendosky with the opportunity for Bayern but a nice save.
Willy Caballero, who has actually taken a knock out of it, seems like his left leg is the issue here, as the athletic trainers will come to its happened to him this game taking place at Stamford Bridge in London, England.
The studio in that I definitely I want to go to eventually in the ER in a few years time.
Whenever I can make it over to England, I am a Chelsea fan.
As you can see, it will be a corner kick coming up for Bayern Munich.
This this is no easy up Easy.
Ah, match up for Chelsea Bar Minic.
We all know what they can do.
This is a nice ball sent in and that will be cleared out by Ross Barkley as he sends this one out of bounds on the far sideline.
The throne will be taken quickly by Byron, but now we have a whistle blown.
And what's the call? Well, not quite sure.
I guess they wanted Byron to move the throwing back.
Yes, that was the case.
So now the Thrones taken and it goes to Levendosky shot from the outside of the box in that just sails wide.
Was Tomas Moeller okay? It was Tomas Mueller with the opportunity.
Trying to curl that one into the bottom right corner.
He beat Caballero, that's for sure, just a little wide of the post, but a great effort nonetheless from Miller, who is a goal score.
It's what he does Thank you, Joe, for joining the broadcast.
Thanks for tuning in.
Glad to have you here on this Tuesday afternoon.
Nothing better than some Champions League knockout stage action.
The small point of the top by Muller and Levendosky is on the end of it, but that touched a little too far ahead.
And no problem for Willy Caballero is he scoops that one up or half a Knauer, and this will be thrown out to the touchline.
It's with Matteo Kobe Church who goes back for Antonio Rudiger and that ball into Djourou.
Not the best one.
Byron takeover in possession, first leg here.
The second leg will be in Germany.
Where Bayern Munich.
Well, well, look in this.
Like to get some of Waigel's, or at least one now would put them in really good position heading back to Orleans.
Thank you for the follow.
I appreciate that a lot, Joe, thank you very much.
Chelsea take over possession claims for a handball and they're going to get it.
That went off the arm there of Joshua, Kim, Nick and Chelsea with the free kick opportunity mount just trying to play the head to Drew and chemical putting his left arm up, perhaps to intentionally stop that Paul from going through.
But no car that given the free kick right around midfield and it will be taken.
And that's a wasted opportunity there as Rudiger sends that all the way through an over the touchline for Abe iron goalkick.
It's not what Chelsea we're looking for right there.
The gold will be taking quickly by Bayern Munich.
It's playing across the back by Jerome Boateng.
Yes, well, now over the top.
But therefore the blues is Matteo Kovacevic, and now this ball out of bounds spire to take the quick throwing.
Here is boating pressure and coming from Mason Mount, it gets the pass off to the left.
Back in Alfonzo Davies, he used to play for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The young Canadian international, getting some playing time with one of the top clubs in the world, hears Kingsley Komen shaking and banking tries to get the crossing.
And they say it's a goal kick.
Come on, trying to get it off of Ah Marcos Alonso there not quite able to do so and give credit to Alonzo, very disciplined, defending their as he didn't let Koman, Get by him.
Thank you, everyone for joining me on here on SportsCastr Champions League action on this Tuesday afternoon.
Now here's Mason.
Mount Mount gets the pass off to Alonzo Alonzo over to Georgino.
Up ahead, it goes to Ross Barkley and Ice move by the handball called Barkley.
Taking that one down with his arm and the Bayern Munich shouts were, Ah, were loud and clear right away.
And yes, the correct decision as Barkley took that down his left arm.
There, 33rd minute Bayern Munich have it in the back.
Here is Manuel Neuer Neuer over to Jerome Boateng, boating across to David Albo.
Hi am I pay off year older Barkley is on side across, sent in, and it just gets by Mason Mount.
But Marcos Alonso has at the edge of the box, plays over to Kovach Kovach a through ball, the one timer sent across the six.
But nobody could get on the end of it for Chelsea.
Oh, my goodness.
The fans, though in attendance, still encourage there.
And Bayern Munich.
Just a little, uh, lacks a day's ical in the back.
And yes, that was on side originally meant was.
And then it went through to Alonso, who played it back for Kovacevic and a nice through ball to Mount Mount.
Played it right across, but truism unable to get onto it and also at the back post.
Um, I believe it was Barkley who was unable to get there, either.
This headers off the bar from Mueller.
Oh my goodness! And now Chelsea able to clear Thomas Muller with a spectacular effort.
He was facing away from the goal, somehow headed that backwards, and it went off the crossbar.
A great ball sent in, Mueller facing away from the goal with the backwards header that nearly found the back of the net.
BB Caballero and it's off the bar.
What a chance there for Bayern Munich.
A rainy night, by the way in London, England, a cold one as well.
Marcos Alonso over, too.
Nil nil here, and you wait for a Champions League action.
Here's coach itch up ahead for Barkley.
Barkley with the one touch pass out wide for Reese James.
Now, Georgina with it.
A nice slide tackle there from Tiago and Bayern Munich have the ball back in possession.
A couple of stats for you.
The total attempts in favor of Byron 64 and attempts on target 3 to 1 in favor of Bayern Munich as well.
Thank you, Bill for joining the broadcast.
Glad to have you here for some Champions League action on this Tuesday afternoon.
Manuel Neuer has it still no score from Stamford Bridge in London, England.
Leg one of round of 16 action.
Jerome Boating will play it back for Manuel Neuer.
Neuer slips and falls.
I just mentioned a minute ago that it's raining out there.
Luckily, that hit, luckily for Byron his past was was not altered after he slipped afterwards but still able to connect with the intended target.
Now it's gonna bring over.
The Komen couldn't quite take it down as he would look like.
Now Djourou has it Drew with a nice ball across for Mason Mount Mount down the sideline with plenty of space in front of him.
He plays it directly off of Benjamin POV Arda and wins the throwing for the Blues.
Quick throw from Chelsea.
Here is Andreas Christenson.
Christenson plays a forward Reese James into Ross Barkley, who had it taken away immediately.
And now it's back with Manuel Neuer at the edge of the box with Fire Munich 38th minute nil nil between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Midweek Champions League clash Years mount.
He's clipped from behind a foul called in a free kick.
Coming up for Chelsea.
What a great opportunity here for Chelsea.
Looking back on the replay.
Oh, my went down this bone.
Yeah, he might have tripped himself up.
Wow! A questionable decision there.
I mean, I didn't see it in real time.
I'm surprised Bayern Munich aren't arguing against this decision more because on the replay that was pretty clear.
He just tripped himself.
There was really no contact from Savard, but Chelsea nonetheless geta great freekick opportunities.
Haru end James both lining up to take it.
Bayern Munich, with just two on the wall of Very Hilal high line, about six yards outside of the box, James with the inswinger, Nobody there for Chelsea and that sells out of bounds for a Bayern Munich goalkick.
Yeah, a left footed service would be preferable there because the right the right foot of Reese James that sent it in it was heading away from from the Chelsea attacker is trying to get on the end of that cross.
A left footed insular would make a lot more sense There.
Why he goes Alfonzo, Davies to Robert Levendosky.
Levendosky at the edge of the penalty area.
Now it takes toward the touch line in that cross is non threatening, although he is claiming that it was off of a Chelsea player.
But it's not gonna get the call as it's a Chelsea goalkick here.
No corner kick awarded to Bayern Munich so Willy Caballero will take the goal kick.
Plays it up ahead for Georgie.
No Georgino back to Antonio Rudiger Rudiger finds copy.
Euro back out wide.
He goes with Rudiger now.
Libya's Haru heading that one for Mason Mount.
But Bayern Munich taking away this ball in the air, going all over the place.
It's back with Marcos Alonso, Alonzo to Antonio Rudiger.
Here's Willy Caballero pressure incoming, but he will get it off with plenty of time to spare.
40th minute here, tackle by Djourou from behind.
No problem for Joshua Gim**** Jerome Boating now with it.
Five minutes left, plus stoppage time in the first half.
Thank you, everyone for joining in this afternoon.
Package goes with Manuel Neuer, lawyer towards the sideline.
This one played up ahead and before I believe it was Serge Gnabry who could get there in came Andreas Christenson to make a crucial tackle plates that plays it out of bounds.
And now Bayern Munich with it along the back line.
Up ahead, it goes.
And now here is Benjamin Hobart Boulevard, back for fellow teammate in Joshua Gim****.
Why that goes Fonzo Davies To Tiago.
Thiago to Kinnick Kim.
It plays it out wide.
And now down the right wing, it's Savard provided the right back, moving up field.
A dangerous ball up the sideline.
Kingsley Koman taken out from underneath.
Bye, Marcos Alonso.
And a free kick is given.
So Byron Munich would now with an opportunity right along the sideline.
Thank you, Karen, for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate that.
Thank you for joining here on SportsCastr on this Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday night, out in Europe, Chelsea hosting Bayern Munich in a Champions League encounter.
Round of 16 action, first leg.
All right, so here comes the service in.
It looks like it's gonna be Joshua Chemical to take the free kick.
Now this is how you doing.
A right footed in swinger.
That's a good ball end and getting ahead on it at the end of the sixth was Cesar Azpilicueta and Willy Caballero Is there to come down with it now.
Here is Reese James back to Kobe Church.
The one touch past four Olivier Giroud.
Here come Chelsea.
It's played out wide.
Marcos Alonso making the run.
Alonso cuts inside.
He's now in the box.
Flatfooted strike saying made by Thomas Mueller.
Want a chance there for Chelsea Alonso going for goal himself? And now this cross will deflect out of play a Chelsea corner two coming up in the noise levels rising at Stanford Bridge.
Uh, excuse me, Marcos.
Alonso just blew right by Benjamin POV.
Ard made it look easy out there, and then the shot.
She was trying to go bottom right corner but couldn't quite get the accuracy, was looking for Alonzo now with the header, and that will sail wide of the left post and out of play for a buying minute goal kick.
Marcos Alonso, the midfielder, creating chances on the attack for Chelsea.
Still no score, though.
As we approach stoppage time, these Byron Munich now have at the back here is boating out.
What he goes is he connects with Benjamin Profar a ball played in over the top.
And how lands with Tiago Tiago with a nice ball out wide cutting inside is gonna bring.
But Mason Mount interferes with his fast.
It will be a Byron throwing throne is Jigen And now it goes across the back with voting, voting The one touch pass intercepted by Marcos Alonso Alonso with a beautiful service over the top.
Haru couldn't quite take it down with this chest, though.
And that will make its way into the hands of a Manuel Neuer.
Thank you, Avery, for joining the broadcast.
Hope you're having a good Tuesday afternoon.
How are you doing, man? Glad to have you here in.
That could have been a dangerous opportunity there for Bayern, but sets are Azpilicueta got a foot in there to interfere with that pass.
Thank you for the tip.
I appreciate that, Karen, we're approaching stoppage time in the first half year and this one's gonna trickle over the touch line in the corner kick coming up.
So Serge Gnabry wins the corner kick for Bayern Munich.
And here we go swimming.
It's ago. You open the door now you're here.
I appreciate that, Avery.
Thank you very much.
I'm glad that's the first thing you're doing back, back home from school.
There'll be a minimum of one minute here of stoppage time.
And Caballero is there.
The punch it out.
It's now Alfonzo Davies, who gets it out wide to boating, boating the left footed service and winning the header.
There was Reese, James for Chelsea and often running his Ross Barkley taking out from behind.
That's gonna be a yellow card.
Our first yellow of the night.
And given the yellow card is Tiago.
Yeah, Thank you very much, Avery, for joining in.
I appreciate that Allotment, Champions League action and the knockout stages.
Now, this is where the competition gets really fun.
And as you can see, I'm a Chelsea fan.
That should just about do it for the half.
Chelsea aren't even gonna take Oh, yeah, they are Free kick quickly taken.
Looked like they were gonna blow for halftime.
A ball over the top and Mason Mount was making a run on it.
But Manuel Neuer, at the edge of his box, comes up and wraps it up and puts a rap on the second on the first half.
Excuse me, we are now at halftime here on SportsCastr.
It's you wait for Champions League round of 16 1st leg action between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Make sure you keep it here for the halftime report where I will be recapping the first half of this one, but also getting you up to date on what's going on in Italy, where Napoli are taking on Barcelona simultaneously in just as it just as an enticing encounter as this match.
Awesome Champions League matches book today and tomorrow, so make sure you keep it right here.
The halftime report is coming your way in a minute.
At halftime, it's Chelsea Nil.
Bayern Munich, Nell from Stamford Bridge in London, England.
We'll see what the second half has in store.
I appreciate all of you for joining me this afternoon.
I will be right back with the halftime report.
Highlights from both matches taking place on this Tuesday afternoon.
All right, welcome into the halftime report here on SportsCastrs.
So glad to have all of you here this afternoon.
And as Chelsea are taking on and Bayern Munich and their scoreless at the half, I will recap the highlights for you in the 1st 45 minutes of play.
First leg of a round of 16 action.
We got great matchups both today and tomorrow in the UEFA Champions League.
You gotta love it.
The best teams in Europe taking the field.
But let's get you up to date on what's going on in Italy, where Napoli are taking on Barcelona.
Napoli were the ones with the early chance in the ninth minute.
A little bit of 1/2 chance 16th minute once again, but no real test for Barcelona.
But you know, Napoli building some opportunities and Barcelona a little, a little bit shaky in the back as well in the 29th minute and a shot from outside the box would go up or 90 and Napoli would be the first ones to get on the board over in Italy.
What US strike from the edge of the box by trees murders? You've got to be kidding me.
No chance for goalkeeper ter Stegen at halftime it's Napoli one Barcelona nil The shots. 3 to 2.
Napoli shots on target to nil.
Napoli the possession.
Those 70 to 30% in favor of Barcelona.
And so in very interesting scoreline over in Napoli.
And if if Barcelona could get away, go on an away goal in the second half, then this story is a lot different.
Heading to back to Ah, back to Spain for the second leg in three weeks time.
But if Natalie can hold off the one nothing went or perhaps go up to now, I think to know would definitely really challenged Barcelona in that second like one.
No, I'm still not accounting Barsa out.
But it it would definitely be huge for Napoli if they were able to close that for the victory in the first leg.
And what an interesting result.
Because I know a lot of people probably thought that Barcelona would blow by Napoli.
But But that hasn't been the case at all.
Napoli with the lead after 45 minutes of play.
What's going on, Karam.
Glad to have you here, man.
I hope you're having a good Tuesday afternoon in some UFO Champions League action, the first leg of of the round of 16.
And in the game I'm commentating.
It's Chelsea nil.
Bayern Munich, now at the half.
But elsewhere in Champions League action, Napoli leaves Barcelona one nil at half time.
I'll be back to recap the few first half highlights that we have of that Chelsea Bayern Munich first half.
Although there were chances created for each side, you don't watch that much Soccer except for the U. S. National team.
Yeah, yeah, I I really like soccer all along with all other sports, so I watched a good amount of soccer, especially Champions League.
Champions League is the best.
I'm telling you for club competitions, it's not even close, but yeah, I'll be right back after this quick break and I'll discuss Chelsea.
Bayern Munich 45 minutes in the books.
Stay right here on sports cast.
Everybody, I'll be right back.
All right, welcome back in everybody halftime at Stanford Bridge, where Chelsea and Bayern Munich are tied nil nil, with still 45 more minutes to go.
Plenty could happen in the second half, of course, but let's roll the few highlights that we do have, Ah to talk about fire Minnick to have a good chance.
In the 11th minute.
It was Kingsley Komen who are shot with a shot from inside the box but hit the side netting and then a nice ball over the top that was played for Levendosky.
But Caballero do nice job coming off his line to make the save and then I think the best opportunity of Ah for Bayern Munich or one of them at least was a right footed shot by Levendosky or rather, Moeller That's just sailed wide of the of the post and then Miller, of course, hitting the crossbar as well off the header that where he was facing away from goal.
But in the end, the score Neil Neil shots and favorite.
Chelsea 76 shots on target though in favor of Bayern Munich 3 to 2 possession Bayern 69% compared to Chelsea, 31%.
Byron have had three corners compared to Chelsea's to what's going on.
Glad to have you here on SportsCastr.
It's halftime between Chelsea and Bayern Munich, Neil Neil, the score and in the other Champions League round of 16 matchup.
It is Napoli leading Barcelona one nil.
So very interesting.
After 45 minutes of play in both Champions League match ups this afternoon, not Chelsea's not gonna lose Ryan.
I got the jersey on hopeful.
Hopefully they can win.
Hopefully, they can win.
I think they got a win tonight because, um I mean, if they if they hold Byron to to a nil nil draw, then I think that that would still be a pretty good result.
But it by and getting the Waigel then things aren't looking too good from a Chelsea perspective.
Yeah, Chelsea Her at home? Yeah, Liverpool are repeating it.
Chelsea's at home for the first leg and then buying her at home for the second leg.
Chelsea are at home tonight, but Ah, tonight in over in Europe, this afternoon, here in the U.
But yeah, Um, yeah, I know Karam.
Jason Tatum has been He's been crazy.
I expect them to win in the German team stadium.
No, I No, I didn't say that.
I said if that I mean well, possibly it depends it.
Well, I guess I kind of said, if they held it nil nil, then? Yeah.
I mean, I mean, because think about it, Ryan.
They don't have to win there.
A 11 draw would get them through anything except nil.
Nil a 112233 Cause they would have Maura Waigel's.
So So, um, I think, Yeah, I think they could.
They could come out if if it stayed nil nil heading into the second leg.
If they could get through to the to the quarterfinals.
But we'll have to wait and see.
I'll step aside for a minute.
I'll be back for the final 45 minutes.
So keep it right here on SportsCastr Everybody, It's you a foot Champions League action.
I'll be right back.
All right, everyone, welcome back.
I'll be right back in about 2 to 3 minutes.
My grandma's here, so I'm just gonna say hi to her for a second.
So keep it right here.
Hopefully we don't miss much as the second half gets underway.
I'll be right back.
Sorry, everyone. Welcome back in Bayern Munich have just scored.
Sorry about that.
I didn't expect my grandma to becoming and I had an important question.
But I am back here on the stream.
Bayern Munich have taken the lead over Chelsea, a little slip in the back from Cicero.
Azpilicueta, a nice through ball played and then Levendosky with the perfect pass in front of goal, and Serge Gonna Bree was there to finish it off.
It's Bayern Munich one, Chelsea nil in England.
Yep, kabira way out of position.
At that point, a great ball played across the box by Levendosky and get every able to finish it off.
And that's a huge Waigel for Byron as well.
Chelsea with plenty of work to do now 51st minute and Byron are the first ones on the score sheet.
As we resume play into the year, this one goes taking down nicely by Marcos Alonso.
Ross Barkley plays it out wide to Reese, James, Chelsea looking for a quick response.
James sends it in, and that is blocked by Bayern Munich.
What a bad bone played in the middle, taken away by Kovacevic and now Christensen back to Rudiger and Rude Igor's header is out of bounds.
Byron, looking to take the throat.
So Serge, gonna every now has five goals in his last six Champions League matches in this Champions League campaign.
He's really been, ah, good added benefit to the Spire Munich attack.
Oh, I remember him at the Olympics back in two thousand's.
Was it 16? Yeah, 2016.
And, ah, he was leading that German team.
Come on, by the way, given a yellow card a little while ago, not quite sure what for, but a yellow card was given to coma.
Bayern Munich now play this one upfield, but that one's gonna sail out of bounds is it was a little bit ahead of Benjamin POV Ard, and now they're looking to take the Chelsea look to take the throwing a little slip there on the gold from Bayern Munich from a sense arrestable Quetta and that really led the Ah Bayern Munich scoring opportunity led to it, I should say, and ah, nice ball point across in the box, slotted home nicely by Serge Gnabry on the one, too, with Robert Levendosky.
Now it's Tomas Miller.
Miller plays it out wide for boating back.
It goes to Miller header by Alfonzo.
Davies is nearly intercepted a barmy to keep possession.
Getting a foot, too.
It was Reese James.
Now you're come buyer.
It's played out wide with Robert Levendosky, Levendosky to Canaveral.
The shot he scores and go Bayern Munich have doubled the lead surgeon Avary has to.
It's Chelsea Neil Byron, too, in its two goals in the span of three minutes for not just Byron Munich but Serge Collaborate in 11 doskey with the second assist of the night as well.
Those two really connecting nicely in this second half has not gone to plan for Chelsea.
It all started back with Manuel Neuer, who played a nice ball right around midfield.
Bayern Munich quick on the attack.
That's what they can do in a great great finish from Serge Gnabry across Caballero and into the bottom right corner, giving him no chance.
And Munich, just like that, double the lead and now have to a Waigel's as well.
And all you can hear at this point is the Bayern Munich supporters and Chelsea trying trying to stay positive here.
But that's not gonna be easy.
It was nil nil just three minutes ago, and now it's to know by Herne Looking at on 1/3 now, we all knew Bayern Munich was the better team heading into this game.
But I think Chelsea played pretty decently in that first half.
I think they were.
They were all right going into the locker room at halftime with the result in hand.
But now things have changed drastically.
Now the focus is getting goals as quick as possible because they will sure need them to give them a chance in the second leg.
And now Georgino stomped on from behind by Kinnick.
Chelsea will take the free kick quickly.
Georgino backup and seems to be all right.
This one played up the sideline and down the left wing.
Here comes Mason, Mt.
Mount into the box over to Barkley, Barkley back to Mount Ball, played across and Bayern Munich, though, are now.
Was it? Their defense has been solid from the start.
Here is Davies, with speed, takes the cross midfield.
Davies tryingto outrun Azpilicueta.
He blows by him, cross scenting down low.
It's a driven ball now, with Robert Levendosky back to Moller over the top.
He goes trying to get it back to Levendosky, but he wasn't quite expecting that ball to be played over the top for him.
Not quite on the same page there.
You think Bradley Beal messed up by signing that extension? Yeah, that's safe to say, Yeah, he's too good to be playing on that on that, uh, garbage team, the Wizards.
I know back to back 50 point games and the Wizards lost both games.
That's that's so crazy.
Yeah, he has been balling has been crazy.
Now here is gonna bury over, too.
Kim Chemical wide to Davies, Bayern Munich with the ball and no particular hurry.
Are they in? At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Frank Lampard makes a change soon, either.
Now it's Kingsley Comb on across the box, but it's behind Robert Levin Danowski.
If he had time has run perfectly there.
That could have been a goal.
Another one for Bayern Munich.
They keep on creating chances here.
We're still early on in the second half.
Oh, that's going to go over the touchline.
A miscommunication there as Thiago was looking for a search, gonna bury.
By the way, Chemical has been given a yellow card for that challenge on Giorgio a little while ago.
Bayern Munich leading Chelsea to nil Up ahead it goes to Ross Barkley.
He's knocked off the ball.
It's one by gun ABRI.
And now boating will play it out.
Lie here is Kingsley Coma.
Lays it off for Savard.
And he's gonna win the cross when the throwing my bed as his cross is blocked.
Thank you so much.
Everyone for being a part of the broadcast here on SportsCastr.
Glad to have you joining me this afternoon.
Did Thomas more keep the ball and they say, Did the one timer from gonna bury goes over the bar? He is looking for a hat trick.
And my goodness, City Almost get one.
Let's see if this ball was indeed Captain.
Yeah, was by Miller and gonna bury on the volley with a great chance.
Just a little bit over the bar.
Couldn't keep it low.
Had plenty of power on it, that's for sure.
The Bayern Munich fans enjoying their trip westward to England as their team is up two to nothing as Stanford Bridge.
This will be played out of bounds by copy euro and this is just looks like Ah, this organized and dysfunctional Chelsea team to start the second half a little bit all over the place. Really.
I haven't even had good spells of possession here in the opening 15 minutes of the second half, we're nearing the hour mark here.
Bayern Munich leading Chelsea two nil looking for another one.
Now here is Robert Levendosky out wide it goes for Serge Collaborate gonna bring back for Alfonzo.
Here is Joshua Kinnick.
Now it's Jerome Boateng boating a nice ball out wide in Bayern Munich, just really passing it through Chelsea.
Just tiring them out.
Chelsea doing all the running by Munich, letting the ball do all the work.
Temic Now how wide That one's a little ad of Koman and it travels out of bounds at Chelsea Throne, and now they will make their first substitution of the afternoon.
It will be William coming in for Chelsea, who, uh, you know, has been a regular starter at times, but under Frank, Lampard had spent a little on it off for him.
Olivia's Haru will be the one coming out.
So Djourou, who scored for the first time in a while, on Saturday against Tottenham will come out for Chelsea and out Tammy Abraham.
Also coming in for Ross Barkley.
Looks like Barkley might be dealing with an injury again.
So to substitution Sze from Chelsea.
And let's see if ah, Abraham and William can make an impact.
You're coming off the bench.
Manuel Neuer has it.
Boots it downfield.
Bayern Munich, though, are just, you know they've had.
I want to know the possession numbers for this half because Chelsea have barely had a chance with the ball.
That's how lopsided it's really been.
This is a nice ball point through gonna breeze on the end of it.
Canaveral now plays it for Alfonzo.
Davies makes its way out for Mueller.
Ball played across, Gonna bury, wants the shot.
He cuts to his left foot, fires one in and that is blocked out of play.
It goes up Bayern Munich or kept coming up.
You can tell good every once.
He is looking for that third goal.
Wasn't a bad effort in the end, a nice cut to his left foot unable to find the back of the net, though, as Chelsea were ableto block that shot.
But a corner kick opportunity coming coming up, buying me to continue to pile on the chances here in the 2nd 45 It's a nice ball sending from Kim Ic right outside the six.
Is that a handball? They're definitely shouting for a Tiago with the effort and shouts for handball here in for a handball in the box.
Let's see if that will had to be a R.
We'll have to keep an eye on its 63rd a minute here.
And could this get worse for Chelsea? We carry on for now, but they may go back and take a look at it.
In an update for you between Napoli and Barcelona, Napoli were up one nothing.
But then in the 57th minute, Barcelona would tie it up.
That just happened a minute ago, Antoine Griezmann finding the back of the net for Barsa, and we're all knotted up at one apiece over in Italy.
That's an update for you in that one.
Now it's played out wide.
Here come Bayern Munich.
It's near the corner flag.
But this is a concerning sign here, as Kingsley Koman pulls up.
Looks like he might have pulled a muscle looking back on the handball shouts definitely hits the arm.
This is a better angle.
Ooh, that's a handball.
In my opinion, I'm a Chelsea fan, but I'm sorry.
That could have been I mean, yes, it was close in proximity, but I don't know that Cole was heading on target and it was close, but they decided not to take a look at it.
And looks like common will be done.
Something you really don't want to see.
And now the athletic trainers will come out and attend to him.
So let's see who will be coming in for Kingsley Coma.
It looks like it's gonna be could seen you.
It will be Cotino.
He was really Ah, struggled.
That will not struggle, but he hasn't got a lot of playing time at Byron.
I don't know why he left, uh, Liverpool in the first place and then things just didn't work out at all of Barcelona.
I thought that was kind of a foolish move.
Things were going great for him at Liverpool and look what they're doing this season.
And it looks like Serge Gnabry That will be it for him.
What a sensational night I know he'll you'll stay in.
Philip Cotino will come in for Kingsley.
Comb on my apologies.
Pacino will come in for Komen.
They were just replaying the goals here.
I was gonna say, Why would you take him out at this point? I mean, I guess you don't want to risk injury here, but it's just the two.
If Chelsea get a golden things, definitely start Thio Pan out.
Interestingly, here is William.
William has it for Chelsea.
William plays it out wide for Alonzo.
Now it's Mason Mount over to William, and that will be played out for a throwing Chelsea throwing coming up Marcos Alonso to take it.
And Chelsea, You know, if if they get a goal, then yes, there, there, back into the thick of things.
But I don't know if I see that gold coming.
Ah, but they definitely need to play with some urgency here.
I know it's the first leg, but the fact of the matter is Byron have to wiggles.
And if things stood the way they are Chelsea, we need to score three at buyer to win, to obviously to tie, which I just don't see happening That's gonna be offside now on Timmy Abraham.
And you couldn't quite get himself back on side a high line from Byron, right at the edge of the penalty box.
We're about midway through the second half here on SportsCastr back and goes to Neuer.
Neuer finds Jerome Boateng.
But what? Saying back to Neuer? And now can more get on the end of this one? Yes, you can hear is Tomas Moeller cuts to his left foot in the box, Cross sent in.
And now it's at the edge of the six Chelsea trying to clear, and Rudiger plays it off of Miller to win the gold kick.
My goodness, Philip Cotino nearly on the end of that one.
He just came into the game a minute or two ago.
He made connection with the ball, put it right across the six, but nobody could get on the end of it for Bayern.
But what saying now plays it back for Miller filled Casino towards the sideline with Davies, and that's gonna be off of William Davies to take the throne 69th minute.
We're past the midway mark here in second half action in the U UEFA Champions League.
That's a risky pass stolen by Mason Mount.
He's gonna strike in on goal, but that goes over the bar.
Um, and he had more time.
So either you know, pass it off or get a better get a better look in on goal.
I mean, I see what he was trying to do because Miller was well off his line.
But that one was never gonna work out a misfire, to say the least.
There from Mason, Mt.
Was once taken down by 11.
Danowski back to Kim.
****ey goes gim**** plays it towards the sideline.
That ball's gonna sail through all the way to Willy Caballero, who is ableto scoop it up.
Chelsea looking for their first goal of the game.
A much needed go at this point, down to nothing.
Kabira plays it towards the sideline.
Reese James controls back.
He goes to assess our Azpilicueta.
Here is Tammy. Tammy Abraham.
Georgina will switch fields outline.
It goes for Rudiger, by the way of some stats for you.
The total attempts in the first half.
65 Bayern Munich in the second half, 51 Byron for an overall advantage, 11 to 6.
And that one will go off a boat saying a Chelsea corner kick and the fans at Stamford Bridge trying to make some noise here and get behind their team.
This could be one of their best chances of the night.
It all depends, though.
On the service from William will be a right footed outswinger here.
It's a good ball sent in, headed out on Leah's faras Giorgio Giorgio well played across for Reese.
James James puts it back into the mix.
In the header from Christenson.
We'll head to the corner and it's now possessed by Alfonzo Davies.
Davy's past goes a blue shirt, and that is Kovacevic 72nd minute here on SportsCastrs.
So glad to have all of you here.
Sorry if I'm not as excited as usual.
I Chelsea is my favorite team in England, and this is This is disappointing.
I will say this is disappointing.
Here is Abraham, taken out from underneath, but no foul called.
And now Chemical go back for boating.
Here is Joshua Kinnick Iron.
Just knocking the ball around Chelsea, perhaps getting a little bit fatigued at this point in the game.
Here is Davies Davies, with a nice passes.
He goes right around Kristiansen, but his cross will go over the net. A good effort nonetheless.
Yes, Davies is a left back, but he's not afraid to go over and try toe.
Create a spark in the offense for Bayern Munich and now coming off for Chelsea.
Assess our Azpilicueta.
It will be Pedro entering the game for the Blues, and that's their last substitution.
It's all over now, for Ah, substitution is when it comes Thio Chelsea.
And so Pedro is in.
We'll see if he can make an impact.
You know, Chelsea have some good players.
It's just it's been a really inconsistent team, you know, ever since.
Ah, the Josie Marino debacle to be quite frank.
Now it's Mason Mount with it years William at the edge of the box.
Nice ball sent in, but it gets by everyone.
Oh, man, Oh, man.
Those are the type of chances you gotta take if you're Chelsea and it went right across the box.
How many times that happened where no one could get on the end of ah of a ball that goes right across the six should spend that kind of night for Chelsea here was Marcos Alonso plays it towards the sideline.
Zion versus LeBron.
Tonight will be interesting.
Yeah, for sure that should.
That should be a real show, shouldn't it? Yeah.
Now it's Andreas Christenson.
Christenson finds Georginio up that it goes for William.
That past taken away by Byron.
It goes back to Mueller.
Philip Casino takes it away.
Back to go, Gnabry! Gnabry has it for Bayern Munich.
Here is Alfonzo Davies.
Gabi's accelerates and here he goes.
He's often running with speed into the box.
Plays it across it.
That's happened and go.
Oh, it's Robert Levendosky who makes a Bayern three Chelsea nil, and this is absolutely turning out to be a disastrous night for the Blues at home.
With 15 minutes left, Bayern seemed to have their ticket already punch of the quarter finals.
I know there's another leg coming up, but I think I don't know.
I just don't see us a chance that Chelsea's coming back now down three to nothing.
Blurring Munich so good at home as well for the second day.
Well, excuse me, it's been a long day, but yeah, I at this point it's not looking good for Chelsea.
I mean, it all started with Alfonzo.
Want a move? He's got speed down that left flank.
I'll tell you that much in a great ball.
Played across and able to finish it off was Robert Robert Levendosky.
And it's Bayern Munich up three to nothing.
What's going on? Dakota? Glad to have you here on SportsCastr.
Hey, what's going on? Dakota, It was a pleasure to meet you.
A week ago from today, right? Yeah.
It was a pleasure to meet you.
And I had a great time visiting New York and seeing the SportsCastr offices. Yeah.
Yeah, no problem.
I I enjoyed it a lot.
I enjoyed it a lot.
Thanks. Thanks for having me.
And, uh, thanks for for all the work you guys do at SportsCastr making.
Ah, making this possible.
Thanks for the popcorn as well, Dakota.
I appreciate that, man.
My phone is going off here.
Three Nothing, Byron. Lead it.
Robert Levendosky, with 11 goals now in six Champions League matches, he has been incredible.
And we know the type of gold score he is.
That one was a tapping.
But, you know a striker is always gonna be a ah, great strikers always gonna be at the right place at the right time.
That was exactly the case right there.
And in the 77th minute inspire Munich with three.
Nothing lead in three a.
Waigel's most importantly And this is not looking good for my team. Chelsea.
I was really excited for this game and I I was Ah, I was hopeful at halftime when it was only nil nil.
I mean, things were looking all right at that point.
But now three Nothing, Byron and things have ah turn turn from bad to worse after the last goal for ah, for 11.
Doskey here is Levendosky plays it back to Kinnick and Tree.
Tried to connect there with, um Cotino, but couldn't quite do so.
Now Chelsea have the ball, and that takes a deflection on William.
Get on the end of this.
No, Tiago is there first.
Big time play their Tiago able to get his foot in last second.
And now Neuer, well outside of his blocks, plays it up ahead for Davey.
78 minutes by meaning at this point, will be very, very pleased.
to come back to Munich with the three to nothing lead heading into the second leg.
They'll try toe, keep the shut out.
Chelsea, though, will try to change that.
This one had it out.
Georgino plays it out wide.
Here is reached.
James James into the box for William, back outside to James James with a nice ball but able to get ahead to it is Jerome Boa Tink.
Marcos Alonso now has on the far side.
Alonso to Pedro Petro with some acceleration.
Step over and that is across the goalmouth yet again.
But Timmy Abraham unable to get a touch on it.
My goodness, another one of those for Chelsea, where it's a good cross sent in, but just no one's there for the Blues and Timmy Abraham, perhaps frustrated that someone wasn't there at the back post to finish it off, And now this one will be grabbed by Neuer.
80th minute here on SportsCastr.
Thank you, everyone for joining me This on this Tuesday afternoon, I'll keep you updated on what's going on in Italy to between Barcelona and Napoli, perhaps bonus coverage coming on the way.
Once this game comes to a conclusion, game started simultaneously, but perhaps we could get the last one or two minutes of that one as Ah, they seem to be running a minute or two behind.
And then who knows what stoppage time as well? It's over to David Alba.
It's Philip. Continue.
Casinos past will be stolen.
Now it's William.
William is taken out from underneath by Serge Can Aubry.
And it's now a Chelsea free kick coming up from right around midfield.
Yeah, we'll probably get will probably get the wind, but, um no Kemba Walker again, which is tonight, which is getting annoying.
You got injured at the stupid All Star game out of all things.
Why the heck did he play in that? Because now he's injured for a whole three games now, Yeah, I think we'll still get the wind.
And now here's Tammy Abraham Abraham into the box and it's all ball on that tackle from Tiago.
Or rather no, it was boating and boating.
Now down in quite a bit of pain, you're combining Munich the other way on the counter attack.
Here comes Miller, Man down for Byron, and a free kick is given a yellow card now is also awarded to Marcos Alonso.
Yeah, McCone did all out last game.
No dame either. That's true. That's true.
I guess that evens things out.
Yeah, the Celtics should get the wind.
I'd be disappointed if they lost.
So Marcos Alonso with the yellow card was a foul off the ball.
Jimmy Abraham, meanwhile, is still in some pain down.
The other end of the pitch from his opportunity in the box is a collision there between himself and poet ing.
It was a clean Sacha ll no doubt about it.
They just both kind of fell down awkwardly there.
Mellow is coming along.
You want the heck? Yeah, high now? Yeah, he is.
Ah, game winner the other night I saw that.
The Trailblazers need more, though.
There's still I still don't see them.
Really? As as they're all right there.
All right, I'll put it like that.
And now they're gonna take a look at the V a r monitor to perhaps see if this should have been a red card on Marcos Alonso.
I'll definitely wanna take another look because, yes, it is red card given to Marcos Alonso and the awful night for Chelsea gets even worse if that's even possible.
And after a quick look at the monitor from the official red card is given to Marcos Alonso in his night ends early 83rd minute and now Chelsea have to play down the man for the rest of the match.
Let's see what happened here.
Oh yeah, that's a cheap shot for sure.
Yeah, a slap across the face from Alonzo.
I mean, I understand why you can't slap a guy across the face.
It doesn't matter if Levendosky was bothering him beforehand.
You can't do that.
So a red card given Chelsea plate down a man and this is really getting disastrous.
Just hoping this night will end sooner rather than later.
And these last seven minutes of probably going to go by as slow as they could have ever imagined.
Frank Lampard in the Chelsea staff taking a look at it themselves, and they don't seem to be in agreement.
I'm a Chelsea fan, but I'm telling you, I think that's the right decision.
I mean, you can't slap a guy across the face off the ball.
Clearly intentional too.
Did that 30 have 32 points against the Pistons? Indeed, What a free kick opportunity here, but it sent wide ultimately, and now Bayern Munich will use their second substitution and let's see who will be coming off.
It will be surgical Avary coming off.
So he finishes the night with two goals in the Byron fans showing them showing him the appreciation that he deserves.
Forget ABRI and it will be quarantined to Lee.
So entering the match for by a Munich.
That's the second substitution from Byron.
Chelsea have used all three of their subs.
Now down the man as well.
Things just can't end any quicker if you're if you're a Chelsea player or fan right now, like myself.
Glad that all of you join the broadcast today, though I greatly appreciate it.
Oh, well, too bad it ended up being a, uh, Bayern Munich dominating performances in the second half, A really good game heading into the second half.
Nil nil score line.
Anything could have really happened, and Byron really just set the tone with an early goal in the second half of play and after that the rest was history and they will come back home to Germany in three weeks time with a very comfortable three nil lead.
Waigel's as well, which will make things very tough for Chelsea to come back.
I'd put the chances that one.
I'll give it 1 1000 of a chance to happen.
So what is that as a percentage point point? 001 is what it is. As a percentage.
I believe if I'm not yet, so here we go.
We're back to action. I'll give Chelsea a point.
001% chance Thio to come back and beat Bayern Munich.
I just don't see it happening personally.
Buying are so tough to beat at home.
This was the game where Chelsea needed to have a good result and it's been just the opposite.
86 minute. Here comes Alphonse of Davies again.
Across that goes to Robert Levendosky couldn't quite get a clean pass off in.
Pedro takes it away for Chelsea.
It's one played over the top, but no problem in the back for David Alaba as he wins the header and in the second half that was the ball possession 60 to 40% in favor of Bayern Munich.
CE to total attempt.
71 shots on target.
It hasn't even been close in the second half.
It's been all buyer Chelsea Burley getting the ball.
Never mind creating chances.
We got three to go, plus stoppage time and Petro does come up with the steal.
Chelsea got to get numbers upfield.
Byron recovering quickly.
Pedro goes back for Georgie.
No, now it's back for Andreas Christenson.
Ah, what it goes for? William! What's going on? Isaac? Glad to have you here, man.
Just disappointing result here for my team.
Chelsea, As you can see with my jersey, Uh, this has been a disaster.
Three nil Bayern Munich leader Chelsea also with a red card a few minutes ago, courtesy of a via our review and firing with three Waigel's.
And in this in the second leg, it's just not it's just, uh looking like a Bayern Munich window.
Matter what? That they'll go through the quarter finals.
This is gonna be almost insurmountable for Chelsea, although here's a chance.
Well, it looks like a toad ball.
Ultimately reaching out to try to get a shot in on goal.
No problem for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Seems Neuer plays it up ahead for Oliva all about.
Well, now hold things up and sends it across the back for Tiago and by meaning at this point, just knocking the ball around.
And, ah, why? Why not? Really? Because you don't you don't need another goal, that's for sure.
They'll be perfectly happy with this score line heading into the second leg.
Now it's Alfonzo Davies Back, he goes, Oh, Philippe Cotino.
So gold's courtesy A in this game of gin ABRI in the 51st and 54th minute and then Levendosky in the 76.
That's what puts Bayern up three to nothing.
At this point, as we get closer and closer to stoppage time, this is gonna head out of bounds for a throw in your the corner flag for Bayern Munich.
And now buying will use their final substitution of the night and let's see who it will be coming into the match.
Well, I can tell you who's coming out.
That would be Tiago and incomes Goretzka.
Thiago has really had an incredible season.
I've been impressed by him.
He is such a talented player in the midfield for Bayern Munich.
Now let's see what Goretzka can do.
Come into the game for buyer.
Both teams with no more substitution Sze remaining and there'll be a minimum of four minutes of stoppage time.
This one played across the Heather is cleared off the line by Chelsea Byron looking to make it four.
And Goretzka just literally came into the game.
Had the opportunity for Bayern.
My goodness, what a performance by Bayern Munich.
And you know, they had opportunities in the first half.
They were the better team.
But, you know, we knew that if I were the better team coming in Chelsea where you know, they greeted chance of their own.
The second half, the whole nother story Chelsea, we're holding off.
You know, we're, uh keeping Byron from getting on the score sheet is what I'm trying to say.
And, uh, you know, we knew that was kind of the plan coming in, and they have the ability.
They have the ability to score goals, but we know they do.
So obviously I think Chelsea's plan coming in was, you know, defense the main focus.
And then hopefully we can get a goal on perhaps the counter exact to make it one.
Nothing heading into the second leg.
Spend anything but that casino will fire a shot in on goal from the outside of the box.
Well, why did The Post ultimately going back to the Guerette Scott opportunity actually went off of Levendosky.
Rather, he's trying to get out of the way or perhaps flick it on.
But anyways, uh, back at the goal line was Mason Mountain, who probably would have cleared it out.
Nonetheless a great chance to make it four for Bayern Munich.
Back to Willy Caballero.
Caballero past midfield that had her flicked on by Tammy Abraham.
Manuel Neuer comes out of the box to deal with it.
Now it's Bayern Munich.
Across the back and up ahead, it goes for Alfonzo Davies.
Third minute of stoppage time.
Bayern Munich lead.
Chelsea three nil here on SportsCastr.
Thanks everyone for being a part of the broadcast.
Now with it for Byron is Tilly So quarantine telly.
So we'll switch fields now.
Why'd he goes on the far side with possession? It's Benjamin provided the right back, the former student card player and now a nice ball over the top for 11 Doskey, who wants a 2nd 1 and rather Miller Miller plays it all over to Levendosky.
Levendosky back to the Canadian Alfonzo Davies, now wide.
It goes for Levendosky back to Davies, who has an assist on the night.
The former Vancouver Whitecaps Philip Casino al wide for Levendosky.
That pass will be taken away by Georgina William taken out in a free kick coming up for the Blues.
Three and 1/2 minutes in a stoppage time, about 30 seconds remaining.
And Chelsea will be quite excited for this night to be over with because it's turned into a miserable night for themselves.
These few last few seconds must feel like ours.
For them, it's Caballero over to Rudiger, actor Caballero, this one across midfield and back.
It goes for the left center back in, David Alaba, Olive up ahead to Kim IQ and the full time whistle blows, and this one is over with the final score from Stanford original in England, Chelsea zero, Bayern Munich three and Bayern Munich with three.
Waigel's and with a big advantage heading back to Ali ons in Munich in three weeks time and it should be no problem for them to punch their ticket in the quarterfinals.
Let's get some bonus coverage out to Italy.
It's Napoli in Barcelona tied 11 in the third minute out of five in stoppage time.
Murders scored for napping the 30th minute as I mentioned at halftime and then I gave a live update during the Chelsea BayArena game about Griezmann tying things up at the in the 57th minute.
Barcelona, do you have an away goal? But it is all tied up this fixture turning out to be a much more interesting one than Chelsea.
All right, it's in the midfield with Barsa played out.
Why can they get the game winner later on? Here is Bruce gets back across the back.
It goes with Barcelona.
Assume TT up ahead for boost, gets Napoli finally able to come up with the steal and it will be played back to the goalkeeper.
So I'm running out here.
It wouldn't be the end of the world for either side if this is the scoreline finished this way.
The Waigel, obviously crucial for Barcelona Napoli will head into the second like meeting, knowing they need to get a goal at the camp now, which is no easy task unless they get a goal in the late stages.
Fourth minute of stoppage time.
Here come Napoli.
It's at the edge of the box and that ball played into the box will be off of Nelson Sameh do the Portuguese defender and now Mario Rooney to take the corner kick for Napoli.
Which another Portuguese? So 30 seconds just about remaining in this one.
Napoli with the last second opportunity.
I know it's insignia coming in to take it in senior with a nice ball plating, but it doesn't matter because of foul is called on Napoli.
Ah, push off there on him, TT and he will take all the time in the world to get back up.
And that should just about do it for this one.
She perhaps him TT go in town a little too easily there, but the referee does call the foul and that should just about do it fifth minute out of five year in stoppage time.
We'll see if there's a couple more seconds added on.
It looks like they are gonna add on some more time.
Of course, I wasn't I didn't see the first few minutes of stoppage time.
Maybe perhaps there was an injury or something of the like and this one will be played down the line.
No problem, though. For tourists.
Tegan, who comes out of his box and clears this one across midfield.
Milic will play it back.
Napoli with it in the midfield.
We're heading into the six minute of stoppage time.
A lie that goes here is Rui sensing a Napoli looking for that last chance in this one play over the top and makes its way through but cleared out by Barcelona and that will do it.
Three whistles blow and this one is over.
The final score from Naples Napoli one, Barcelona one in.
This should be a very intriguing second leg in three weeks time over in Spain.
That will be a good one and I don't be surprised if I'll be commentating that one either.
I know it's in a couple weeks time.
Who knows what um be up to then? Ah, scheduling wise outside of broadcasting for my school is outside of broadcasting on SportsCastr for my school as well, but we'll see. We'll see.
There would be some great second leg ties up ahead and Napoli draw Barcelona 11 Not a bad result against the Barcelona team, who still has a lot of talent.
And in the end, Barcelona do get in the wiggle.
So both teams will go home with, you know, content but still hungry for more.
And that should be a fantastic second leg, that's for sure.
As both teams, we'll head off the pitch and swapped jerseys, perhaps Lionel Messi and company.
And so, yeah, you know Napoli.
They took the lead early on.
It was one nothing at the half, Antoine Griezmann scoring a crucial Golan in the in the second half.
And this game a much different story than the Chelsea via Munich game, that's for sure.
And so the Napoli fans will will head home and I I think they'll be.
They'll be fine with the result.
I mean, it will be no easy task cutting back.
Oh, are heading over to Barcelona with the score line 11 with Bartha having that away goal, A nil nil draw would get them through.
Um but yeah, I think.
I think Napoli will definitely have confidence heading into the camp now.
That should be a great second leg.
Bayern Munich, Chelsea.
That's a whole nother story.
I think that that, uh, fixture and ah, that matchup is all wrapped up by America's should should have no problem punching their chicken in the quarterfinals.
That will do it for my broadcast, everybody.
Byron Munich three.
The final score in this round of 16 encounter in the first leg.
Napoli also drawing Barcelona by a score of 11 2nd leg action in those matchups taking place in three weeks.
And, yeah, unfortunately, won't be able to be on tomorrow for you.
Wait for Champions League, but I will be on.
I should be on for CONCACAF champions like, so make sure you check it out tomorrow night.
I'll be busy in the afternoon.
Thanks so much everyone for being a part of the broadcast.
I'm Senator re signing off.
You're on SportsCastr and saying So long, everybody and I'll see you next time.
Enjoy the rest of your night and I hope you've enjoyed us.
The Champions League live commentary by for now, everybody
