Welcome along to a little recap show today on SportsCastr.
I'm your host Carl Books for me Up at Bridge Pratt 28 on Twitter, not tofu.
Follow me Fu Face because, Well, Cole Brooks Different little different subject Gonna do today Because last night the anticipated fights that Waas, Deontay Wilder versus Tyson Fury to that is now in the record books.
And it ended with the one with the British Gypsy King himself.
Tyson Fury winning by 1/7 round knock out against Deontay Wilder.
This fight had everything built up to from the 1st 1 Personally, in my own opinion, if you always should never have lost the first fight anyway, he was ahead on the scorecards.
The fact that one judge ruled Deante Ward off four point for a four point lead on that card was written was absolutely after nine and atrocious.
Onda fat, the other judge put the drawer, gave a draw of one foot of 1 13 1 13 That was ludicrous as well because because I don't think wanted it very well in that photo.
Um apart from the apartment, not dance on your way.
Here's the difference.
I this fight was everything. It was meant.
It was built up to bay.
Both hired a very eccentric walk or music or vote the first time I've ever heard.
Um, the last time I heard crazy being played words of think of in my mother, but did karaoke about 20 years ago for it.
That's the last I've heard of that song before.
Um, don't tell you what.
And he came and fuel, we just came out on what looked on.
I don't know what it is.
We've seen this sort, this carriage, but they gave that they used before.
Really very smart, Very sophisticated.
Um, and it was quite it was quite good.
Fury Wilder's walk on, However, yeah, that was pretty eccentric as well.
He was dressed up in a lot of people say that he was dressed up as the dark knight.
I fought from looking the way he looked.
And then when the lights came up on the shoulder pads and on the eyes, they look like, um ciao on off the kingdom order from Lord of the Rings.
I don't have anybody else.
Might have spotted that as well.
Um, but I was expecting a similar sort of fight from the 1st 1 As in Tyson, Fury would use his jab to his tourist to normal extent that he always does on Dhe.
Let Wilder just try and throw bombs and try and catch him off guard.
We did use his job, but he was a lot more aggressive going forward this time around the what he had against water on the first fight.
But it wasn't exactly like it was one round to fuel your one round toe.
Wilder Tyson fury from the very first bell out, boxed them, outclassed them on when he went on the front foot and learning the landing of left and right hooks.
Deontay Wilder didn't want to be there.
I watched it, got to around midway through the second round and looked in deante waters, eyes and import.
He does not want to be a part of this.
He really does not.
He's not liking this on DDE.
What happened in the third round? Tyson fuel.
We got the knockdown.
You got the knockdown he needed on Walter.
It was a clip to the right guy.
Down he goes, I'm from that moment on, um Deante water was done for iPod.
I don't know how long he will continue with this.
It was It was just basically the knockout on with a right hook to the to the right side of while they hit him right on the air.
That doesn't do anything, because the years that is one of the most sensitive parts on your body connects to your brain.
The brain scrambled.
You can't function.
He was a sitting duck throughout the rest of that fire on Tyson.
Fury just did what he done.
He made this job's used his jobs.
He was very, very patient with it with his game, and when he landed key blows, Deontay Wilder could not fight back.
He was he just He was just all over the place, and at some point I was looking through the four for the fifth round.
He was done fair.
Franny was done.
The referee should have really have stopped the fight in the fifth round after the next stop down because as far as I'm concerned, you know, in the event, the referee tried to give Walter the benefit of the doubt and say he is still protecting himself, which he still waas.
Um, he was trying to fight back, so at least you are still fighting back from this.
But Tyson Fury was just giving him no, No remorse.
What, so ever in this fight? And then in the seventh round, um, if you're we connected once again and landed a flurry of shots left and right.
What was totally busted up face was his face was an absolute mess in that in the, um in that fight.
And then it wasn't the referee called it off.
It was actually one of the one of it, one of John Travolta's trainers in the corner.
It was actually the assistant actually threw the towel in and Wilder lost is lost is **** about it.
Say, why did you do that for? Let's get one thing straight ahead.
I watched I watched your arms honor Bt Sport box office here in the UK But this morning I actually watched, um, after the after the fight, um, the revamped version off what the Americans will do.
So, watching ESPN broadcasters, I watch ESPN one on Andre Ward, a former former champ, a former champion and ah, very very, very good boxer, by the way. Amazing.
He and he absolutely scold one of our boys a fink, it mirza Scottish box.
But anyhow, it's I forgot one name box.
Now I think with something Ricky Burns.
Was it Ricky Burns? I think he absolutely annihilated, Um, in that in this fight, he timeout has said that, You know, sometimes the corner has to take priority over the boxer on the reason why is because if you want to go for a firm match and make it offered out in a trilogy against types of Yuri, you're gonna want to fight another day on DDE.
Andre War was absolutely spot on with what he said that the corn up stepped in because they knew that Walter would just get beaten black and blue left, right, and center on dhe.
They had to further towel in because it was it was just painful to watch for me as a sample.
I mean, I'm a British man.
I love watching fuel.
We knock seven shades of **** out of Deontay Wilder.
But also, I was like, this fight needs to be called off soon, and I'm gonna lay it here because water was not gonna last any longer than what it is on dhe.
It got stopped in the seventh round.
Water went off on one with his coaches.
Say, Why did you throw the towel when I wanted to go out on my own shield? Um, that's all bay.
That's all being well.
You want to go out on your own shield, but you have to.
But you have to think to yourself.
Yes, your 34 years old and you're not.
You've gone past your prime now.
But if you think you still got no a couple number 12 maybe free fights still left in you, you would want to preserve that and go for again.
If you want to go back to go for another title, where it's now Tyson, where it's now Tyson Fury or whoever is Anthony Joshua.
You need to preserve yourself and you have to start.
Um, you know, you have to preserve your body because, you know, you know it's young whippersnapper anymore.
If you're saying my age around about 20 about about 28 29 you still have life left in the tank.
You could say, Yeah, you should have found a town in because I could have I could still carry on water.
Doesn't have that many more years ahead of him.
I don't believe on.
Also I don't get is, um Deontay Wilder has been in the has been in the comforts of off the US all out for his career.
He has never stepped foot on foreign soil on the record.
Although he did B, you did be Ortiz twice on.
He got a, um ah, obnoxious draw against Tyson Fury in the first fight.
Apart from that ***** houses he faced, he hasn't really faced anybody.
Um, hey is the third best heavyweight in the world because Tyson Fury now? I mean, I didn't really I didn't really have much respect for him over the years of all you know, he took drugs he didn't deserve thi i I was leaving.
He didn't deserve the box of again.
He was overweight, He didn't care, you know.
And and he was just a real loud mouth.
And that's what I really, really do Not like about boxing that little book at brash attitude.
But over the last over the last 18 months, Tyson Fury has won me over.
He's actually been a lot more mature about it.
Still has his own ways, is unique.
But the But But what about the box? And I watched last night with Tyson Fury.
That's probably the best best fight, and I've seen him do.
It was a boring fight against Vladimir Klitschko.
Let's put it that way.
But tighter feeling last night was just absolutely unbelievable.
He had a game plan.
Andi, You realized it? Dante Wilder.
He came out to that ring looking like Come Cylon Kingdom or door, You know, walking back out, end up walking out here, you know, look like one of those disgusting orcs.
Um, he was just a mess.
An absolute mess on dhe.
The fact is, though, he was a waiter at 2 31 which is heavier than what was in his previous fight and his muscle Couldn't take about two.
Couldn't take his leg.
Wait, Here's the thing.
What? You've gotta remember when Anthony Joshua by it, Um Louise.
Judy Reeves, Jr.
Andi Joshua bulked up So much was he was built like a body builder.
But when he got hit his legs, can't his legs couldn't take the muscle.
It couldn't take the muscle mass, and that's how he lost that fight.
He slimmed down in the second fight and went to an old jacket on.
And when old school just went for a jab, used the job all the time and the winner by unanimous decision in the end.
So you know John Terada completely mess it up this time out, he said.
He said he had some issues outside a training camp.
It is postgame said the issues outside of his training camp on notice that in the other you said one month prior you aunt Thais view, he said, one month prior, but yet was the best training camp you've ever had.
And Tyson said that it was the best training.
Cabot, he's ever high.
So unfortunately, that doesn't wash with me.
Frankly, we're gone.
You saying, Oh, I had some personal issues going back.
Well, you turned around and said to the media before handing goes, you know, that was the best training camp ever had.
So what's it gonna be? How are you? I have you had a very good training camp.
Always. You bull****ting all this time.
That's what I don't get.
Um, one thing I will say is those this before this fight, I was When I watch a lot of American coverage on ESPN Um, on Fox, they made their predictions.
And I think all book, maybe one or two of them said that Deontay Wilder, um, it's going to knock out Tyson Fury.
They said that? I think two people say fury.
A win by one said he will win by a decision.
The upper one actually made a bold statement and said, No tighter fuel is gonna knock.
Don't a water out there play to the guy who done that, come over his name is nothing it on Fox but, um, everyone else who said that, um, Deontay Wilder was gonna knock out Tyson Fury.
Even Max Kellerman, who is a who who eats, eats and talks boxing.
You know he does his own show.
He's on the panel during the pay per view during the pay per view last night, even he said that what he said Walder would be That wall will be fury.
Well, you clearly don't what, you clearly don't watch British box and you only watch what we bring over.
We're facing one of your American lot on.
I'll say this now.
British boxes get Maur name getting more naming rights And what the what? American boxers don't.
Here's the thing where everyone forgets.
Oh, okay, I was But the Tyson Fury is out for for years on me and he done cocaine.
He got suspended and he had issues.
Always got Annie had with mental health problems and all that sort of thing.
He still come back and he still fought in the first fight.
That an amazing job should have won the fight.
He trained hard.
He got a brand new trainer put in place a new diet.
God put everything.
He changed because he knew that he would. He could.
He could when it gets deante water on points.
He knew that, but he wanted the glory.
He wanted the knockout victory on dhe.
That's basically what happened.
He got the knockout victory that was deserved for Tyson Fury on DDE Dante Amato.
Now he's got a lot of soul searching to do.
Does he want to go for this? Did you want to try and put we much clothes and go for a trilogy, or is he gonna turn around and say, I don't want anything of this guy anymore? He He put me in a place I've never, ever been before.
And that's basically what happened last night.
Tyson Fury beat victimized on embarrassed Deontay Wilder every front off the U. S.
Where does this eve now for Tyson? Well, there's only one of a swirly one another have away who runs all the other belts.
That's Anthony Joshua.
A lot of people are saying, and the Joshua should be the next fight Tyson has.
Maybe this year.
I personally don't believe it should, I think, um, within about Anne.
Joshua has got a mandatory challenge ahead of him for the IBF title, even though it's full for all four belts that he owns but Ford.
But it's in the IBF category on that pool.
Every fights him.
A top marks by ground on June on Dhe Deontay Wilder.
I personally think that there's another bridge box in the name of Dylan, why he's been waiting to be mandatory challenge of Ray Belt, but it seems like for ****ing forever.
Now he's mine of the challenger for the W B C types of yours. Oh, W B c.
Get that fight over to the UK and get that fight going.
Whoever wins out that they face Joshua next next year.
In the summer, we settle.
Who is the best heavyweight in the world currently? John Terada.
Very good fighter.
Unfortunately, this was a step too far for him.
