Everybody and your boy Ray in.
Welcome to DP and Sports Talk live here on sports talk.
Live here on SportsCastr and Live on the grid.
Iran over on YouTube What's crack a lacking people? Welcome to the show.
Hope that everybody is doing good out there today in football land.
As you can see by the title today, we're talking about all three, all three football leagues, the NFL, the Double A and this CFR in the XFL.
CFL's Canadian guys don't want to hear about the CFL.
Don't be fooling me.
What will be talking about today? Those a story that I was working on for SportsCastr and that's a Drew Brees announces that he will be returning to the New Orleans Saints for the 2020 season.
All of the speculation is now over, and Drew Brees made it official.
He will be returning to New Orleans Saints in the 2020 season breeze.
I've been mulling over whether or not he wanted to return to football this season, but the future Hall of Fame quarterback made the announcement via his Instagram account today, saying quote my feelings about the 2020 season.
I look forward to the grind of, and the journey for the reward at the end will be worth it.
I love you, hashtag Who? Dat nation.
Let's make another run at it.
Drew Brees look like Tom Brady.
Drew Brees is taking the fight to Father time and either father Time has gotten really softer.
NFL quarterbacks have gotten really strong.
But coming off another stellar year production and showing no signs of slowing down breeze is ready to make another run.
With New Orleans even missing five games of the thumb injury and 2019 breeze was still able to put up great numbers.
He completed 2 81 of 3 78 for 2979 yards in 27 touchdowns.
If you would have been injured, Breeze was on pace to throw for 4333 yards and 39 touchdowns.
Breezes current deal with the Saints will be void as of March 18th But unlike Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees have both showed a strong desire to stay together.
Saves GM ****ey Loomis was asked about Breeze a couple of weeks ago when he said if Drew Brees was playing football in 2020 they wanted him to do it with the Saints.
Look, I'll be honest when I say I wasn't surprised to hear this announcement today.
I know that Breeze was Molina's future over, but he's been pretty adamant that he wants to leave the NFL on his own terms.
And I just couldn't see a competitors like Drew Brees walking away after an overtime loss on wild card weekend.
The Saints and Breeze will have to get together and figure out his new deal, but I don't see a scenario that they can't get it done.
Breeze returning keeps the Saints stable going forward into the 2020 season, but it will now force the hands of Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill.
Bridgewater showed a lot of promise when filling in for Bree's drain, his injury and 2019.
I'm not sure it's secured.
Teddy is starting job somewhere else.
But what we do know for sure is it won't be with the New Orleans Saints, who on the other hand, is already publicly said that he's prepared to walk away from New Orleans if they don't see him as a franchise quarterback, The Saints could start showing some good faith the hill that they believe he's the future quarterback by moving on from Bridgewater and making Hill the backup.
Regardless of what happens with Bridgewater and Hill, the Saints have their starting quarterback back and at least for one more season.
And I'm sure that paid Sean Payton just loud let out a very big sigh of relief.
I also want to touch upon a trade rumor that's coming out there.
Another story that I covered for SportsCastr today.
Apparently, the Lions are actively shopping their cornerback Darius Slay.
Look, the Detroit Lions dare.
Darius Slay is the 15th highest paid quarterback cornerback in the NFL.
The three time Pro Bowler is ending entering the final year of his $48 million deal, and he's expecting to be paid Like one of the best cornerbacks in the league, ESPN is Adam Schefter is reporting that the Lions have actively been shopping sleigh and that they have spoken to multiple teams about a possible trade.
This is exactly what Schefter tweeted quote lines have spoken with multiple teams about a potential trade for Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay.
Per sources, any team that trades for sleigh would have to compensate Detroit and slay with the New deal.
Other teams believe he will be traded in the off season, but with the Lions are adamant on value.
This news really isn't that unexpected.
Any time a player you probably can't or don't want to pay isn't entry is entering the final gear of their deal.
You will try and get as much value back as you can.
I spoke about Darius Slay Jer and one of my SportsCastr shows last week, and I said that the Detroit Lions are not being seen, and nor should they be seen as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
At least in 2020.
They're much better than their 3 12 and one record indicated last year.
But even with good draft, the Lions are probably the middle of the pack.
At best, say will be 30 years old when his current deal expires, and making a large long term financial investment into an aging player doesn't make sense for the long term health of the organization.
Slay, of course, would live up to the demands of the new contract in the early years.
But all the Lions have to do is look at Josh Norman to see how the investment on Lee pays off in the short term.
I knew the lines making that kind of investment didn't make any sense whatsoever.
What I didn't know didn't know the wise did the Lions want himto walk in 2021 take the pick that the league's would give you, or do you trade him and get the most value that you can get in the most you can for sleigh on the trademark? It makes sense on the surface.
If you know he's leaving after the season, try and get what you can and just cut your losses a year early.
What makes this situation interesting as both GM Bob Quinn and head coach map Patricia are both on the hot seat this season, Lions principal owner Martha Forde has made it clear to the duo that the Lions better be in the playoffs this year considering that both of their jobs are on the line.
Losing a player like sleigh, who also happens to be your best defender, is a tough pill to swallow and look at Schefter is reporting the Lions want good return back for sleigh, and I'm assuming that will probably multiple picks with the very least a second rounder in the mix.
I doubt the lines would be able to fetch your first, but a second round pick is not out of the question.
Sleigh has been showing a desire for a contract extension for over a year now.
He skipped the Lions 2019 offseason workouts, and he and the lines have been an act of negotiation since the end of the 2019 season.
But it appears that those talks have stalled, and it's been reported that they made no significant process and the Lions are ready to move on for the right price.
Since 2014 Slate leads the lines and interceptions with 19 leaves the Lions and passes defended with 99 Slay with been selected to the Pro Bowl.
Street three straight times is 2017 and he was selected as a first team.
All throw in 2017 when he co led the NFL in interceptions along with the Tennessee Titans, Kevin by yard with eight interceptions on this season.
So it'll be interesting to see What what those boys do now.
Here's another piece that I worked on today for, uh, techno hole.
And is it time for the New England Patriots to bring back Danny Amendola? So some Patriot fans have been asking for it to happen? And today I'm asking the question.
Is it time for the New England Patriots to finally reunite with Danny Amendola and bring him back to Pats Nation? Danny, of course, has always sort of been the perfect player for the Patriots.
He's not a superstar by any means, but he and Tom Brady are very insane.
Amendola runs perfectly time routes, allowing Brady to throw to the spot rather than to the receiver, but a lot like Julian Edelman.
Emmett Dolan knows when it's time to break off his route and understands what Brady is thinking in different situations.
Tom Brady's circle of trust was very small in 2019 and included Adelman, James White and, for periods of time, Mohammed Sunu.
That was really it.
Now Phillip Dorsett started in the circle, but by the end of the season he found himself on the outside looking in mn.
Dola would bring more trusted the Patriot, receiving Corps.
His connection with Brady is what allowed Amendola to me toe come through in the clutch so many times in the past.
Now, as you guys know, I haven't been a big fan of bringing Amendola back into the mix, even though I fully understand why it makes sense for the Patriots to bring him back.
I feel like bringing in Amendola back is moving backwards instead of forwards and an agent team with just beginning older.
But I am a fan of bringing Tom Brady back to the Patriots, and Danny Amendola has been wanted.
Brady's favor receivers right now, the only priority I think the Patriots should have is make Tom Brady happy.
If that means bringing back M and Dolar, then bring him back.
And, you know, there were rumors that came out a couple of weeks ago that said that Brady was gonna bring em Andolan anywhere that he went.
And if Brady does end up signing with New England, then I guess that means Danny Amendola is returned to pass nation.
Now, if you want to take a survey of Patriot fans right now and you were to ask them, what do the Patriots need to do more than anything else.
I feel confident that a lot of the fan base would tell you that New England needs an explosive receiver.
If you ask them who the Patriots should sign, I'm sure that they would say A J.
I'm sure that a Marquis Cooper's name would come up.
I'm sure that those two names will be on everybody's list, but Brady has proven throughout his career that he doesn't need an explosive receiver toe win.
Brady needs a guy who is a reliable route runner that has a nose for the ball, makes catches and doesn't have critical drops.
Here's what Jordie McElroy said, he said.
Quote People are so enamored with the explosive playmakers available to the quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the Kansas City Chiefs offense that they expect the Patriots to suddenly follow the same blueprint.
Yet Brady isn't running around and dodging defenders like Neo in The Matrix in an effort to take the top off the defense.
Those Randy Moss days are long gone for the 42 year old quarterback, a veteran receiver receiver with a deep understanding of the Patriots offense and extraordinary route running mechanics would be the perfect plug and play peace in New England, the common theme throughout 2019 season with lack of trust Brady had in his receivers.
If there's any doubt of him jumping at an opportunity to win a Super Bowl with a familiar face end quote, bringing Amendola back to New England doesn't solve all of the Patriots offensive struggles.
They still need to read, address and retool the tight end position.
Bill ballot check needs to figure out what they're going to do with the offensive line.
As big of an impact is Amendola would probably have on the offense.
The Patriots still need to find that receiver who can take the top off the defense.
The good news is the 2020 NFL draft is full of fast receivers, and Bill Belichick could easily find a stretch guy for braving to throw deep, too.
Signing Amendola will, at the very least, solve one problem.
The Patriots are very tight on salary count money right now in M and Dole.
It should be a pretty treat.
Veteran peace that Brady would be happy with.
Amendola would also take some pressure off of Julian Edelman and giving Brady two outlets that he trusts.
Signing Amendola also gives the Patriots the ability to move on from Mohamed Sanu if they wanted to.
That would save the Patriots about $6.
5 million that Belichick could use towards securing a tight end or an offensive lineman.
And there were a lot of Patriot fans that didn't want Amendola to leave in the first place.
And they believe that New England wouldn't be in the situation that we're now if he had never left.
The divorce between Balletic and Amendola wasn't great.
Amendola felt that ballot check gave him a low ball offer and Danny decided tow, walk and sign with the Miami Dolphins and then signed with the Detroit Lions the next season.
The good news is Tom Brady and Julian Edelman would probably be able to ease some of those tensions and get rid of any bad blood between Amit Dolan.
Bella check joining, McElroy wrote. Quote.
Some are quick to point to the fact that he turns 35 this year, but age didn't stop him from racking up 62 receptions for 678 yards for a team that lost their starting quarterback halfway into the 2019 season end quote at this point of his career. Danny Amendola.
Prada is probably more open to accepting a smaller contract, and essentially, he could finish his career with the Patriots.
Like I already mentioned, signing Amendola would give Bella check the opportunity to dry address other positions.
Basically, like McElroy says, when time gets tough, simply, it's best to go back to what you know, Danny Playoff.
Amendola has been a part of some of the biggest moments in the history of the New England Patriots.
He should land on all decade less for the Patriots someday.
I know it sounds crazy that we're talking about a 35 year old receiver, but eh, Mendiola would be a significant.
I'm great over some of the receivers on the core last season.
Dole would also make Brady more comfortable and happy.
And, like I said, that's what it's all about right now.
Let's just make Tom Brady happy now, another piece that I covered today with somebody who it's somebody who didn't make Tom Brady happy.
That's Phillip Door set, and I believe that it's time that Philip Door set, except his time with the Patriots is over Now, Philip Door side has been given multiple opportunities to be a reliable receiver for Tom Brady in the New England Patriots.
Unfortunately, that never seemed to happen.
And are the Patriots now ready to move on without Doorstep? Because time and time again, the Patriots and the Patriot fans were waiting for Philip Door, set to explode and become the deep threat that Tom Brady needed.
But he never lived up to expectations in both 2018 and the 2019 seasons door set was asked to step up in Elevate his game.
And unfortunately, he never did.
At the beginning of the 2019 season, it looked like Door set was finally starting to step up.
He caught 13 passes and three touchdowns in the 1st 3 games of the season.
Things sort of fell off the rails.
After that, he was.
He caught two of nine passes, Week four against the Buffalo Bills, and then he only caught 13 passes for the rest of the season.
And from Week 14 and on, he just kept falling down the depth chart heading into the 2020 season.
The Patriots need results and they need their receivers to step up.
I don't like speaking ill of Philip, but the Patriots can't rely on him to be one of those guys.
Door sat and Julian Edelman could have entered the 2020 season as the two most experienced receivers in the system, but I highly doubt that will happen now.
It just almost seems too obvious at this point that Bill Belichick will move on.
Endorsed Set will be playing for a new team in 2020 at the start of the 2018 season door set and Chris Hogan were unable to carry the offensive load while Julian Edelman served the suspension and Rob Gronkowski turned into a diminished version of himself.
Throughout the 2019 season, the Patriots needed production from anyone not named Edelman, and nobody showed that was Henry Mechanic from Patriots wire saying that by all accounts, Philip Door sets in to be a mentor and a leader inside the wide receivers room.
But a part of me wonders if that was more of default, and the cir***stances dictated Door set be in that role.
Outside of Adelman, the Patriots staff, three rookie receivers and McKeel Harry to Kobe Myers and gonna roll Schelsky Mohammed Sunu was brand new to the team.
The Marius Thomas was traded after the Patriots UH, Week one victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers and a game he didn't play in.
Josh Gordon was dealing with his demons, and Antonio Brown lasted just 11 days as a member of the Patriots.
Who else was going to step up into that leadership role beyond Philip Door set? And look, it's not like Phillip Dorsett did.
A bad job is a leader from the reports.
I've read door sets that the tone in the locker room and younger players looked up to him.
I see this not out of disrespect for Philip Doorstep, but I say this out of fact.
The New England Patriots have lots of players that can step up and be leaders in the dressing room.
I would even argue that the Patriots coaching staff mentors and Foster's leadership quote the Patriots are gonna be looking for bigger things from their receivers in 2019 largely because Tom Brady reportedly is pleading that they do just that.
The Patriots may decide it's time to move on from door set, who made big plays on occasions but couldn't develop into that consistent threat that the Patriots hoped he would be when they acquired him Now is from Henry McCann of Patriots Wire.
At this point, I don't see why the Patriots would stick with door set.
He has never turned into the deep dread that the Patriots thought he could be.
That's not saying that Door Set isn't a capable receiver.
He's just not what the New England Patriots need right now.
Door Set is a good death piece for a team that has a solid foundation in a good 1 to 3 on the depth chart.
Doorstep complements the depth chart.
He just can't play a prominent role.
I went to back for door set amongst my fellow Patriot fans back in 2019.
I felt that he would be a very important piece to the team and that his connection with Brainy would make him a very prominent player on the offense.
Obviously, the way the 2019 season played out door sat the team and I, we're all very disappointed now.
I hope that this piece didn't come across is me bashing door set because that was never my intention.
We can't forget what he's done for the Patriots.
I'll never forget his two touchdown catches against the L A Chargers in the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2018 postseason.
But as the Patriots move forward towards the 2020 season, I believe that they will in half to move forward without Philip Door set.
So those would buy for the four pieces that I've worked on for Techno hole today.
I hope you enjoyed it Now, as I always do.
I scour the Internet looking for all the newest news that I can share with you and give my opinion.
And I found a thing from Alex Chip and today on the score called five XFL standouts gaining early NFL buzz.
I got to say, before I get on that I've been very, very impressed with Vienna or with the XFL.
I was waiting for another wrestling sort of gim****y game like we were used to before, but it's really been pretty beast and football that's come out of it, and I don't know.
To me, it's just been it's been really fun to watch and goes, but it goes like this.
It goes, Cordero uh, Cardale.
Jones is bawling out for the D C defenders.
And he's not the only XFL standout beginning to generate NFL buzz here.
Five players in the rebooted league, including Jones, who are pushing to get back on the NFL radar.
Cardale Jones, quarterback of the defenders.
Juno Jones is 13 and o as a starter between college and the pros.
The former Ohio State Signal caller has been on point in two outings for the defenders, and he has looks significantly more comfortable.
The most other quarterbacks in the league, George has been accurate to all levels on the field, utilizing strong footwork and timing routes while showing an ability to improvise when a play breaks down.
He's thrown for 511 yards and four touchdowns through three contests while completing 62% of his passes.
The market's Gates linebacker for the rough next, Gates was too big, too strong and too fast in the battle Hawks and weak, too, and he now sits atop the XFL with 11 tackles to go with the sack.
The 23 year old was a superstar in the A F for the Memphis Express and had a brief stint with Washington Redskins after the league disbanded.
It's clear that Gates is too good for this level of competition.
Now the other guy is Nelson.
Spruce is a wide receiver with Wildcats.
Formerly a training camp star with Los Angeles Rams, Spruce now leads the XFL on receiving with 192 yards.
The 27 year old caught two touchdowns and weak to with the former Rams teammate Todd Gurley in attendance.
And Girly revealed in a TV interview that Spruce actually taught him how to catch out of the backfield.
Bruce led the San Diego fleet and receiving last year before the A F folded, and he had an illustrious career in Colorado before going undrafted in 2016.
He had a chance to make the Ramses a roofie rookie, but suffered a knee injury while making a game winning play in the preseason.
Walker, quarterback of the Roughnecks, referred to the league by former Indianapolis Colts teammate Andrew Luck.
Walker has taken the XFL by storm.
He posts a good arm in electric athleticism, and there's reason to believe the 28 year old isn't a finished product.
Walker's been billed as the Patrick Mahomes of the XFL, in part because of his filthy our side arm touchdown past he made against the battle Hawks.
However, the way he scrambles when the pocket breaks down is more reminiscent of Russell Wilson.
Lastly, Marquette King are the punter of the battle Hawks.
King is averaging 47.
2 yards per punt through two games, a number that would have ranked fourth in the NFL in 2019.
His best ball was mishandled by his teammates, who knocked the punt into the end zone while it's sat inside the one yard line against the Renegades in the opening week.
It's no secret that King has a big leg.
He's a former NFL second team All Pro.
After all, he's doing everything he can with the battle Hawks to earn a second kick at the can.
Like I said, I've been pretty pretty impressed with the XFL.
I don't know how you guys have thought.
Leave your comments in the in the chat box right now.
I'd love to know what you guys think of how the XFL is running because I think it's been a pretty solid leads so far.
But somebody who's not solid, someone who's probably a super as solid as a soup sandwich is Antonio Brown, and he talked about every union with Tom Brady and saying that we's meeting we him and Tommy would like to make it happen.
This comes from Henry McKenna of Patriots wire.
Antonio Brown is trying to get back into the NFL again.
He has tried before it only to go on an angry social media rant against the league.
For now, he's back to apologizing for his misdeed.
Attempting to spin his bad situation into a roster spot, Brown is facing allegations of **** and ***ual assault in a civil lawsuit.
He's also accused of ***ual harassment and sending intimidating text messages by a separate accuser.
Since the emergence of that news, the Patriots release Brown, who has been a free agents in September.
But Brown doesn't seem to be ruling out a reunion with the Patriots tart.
The Patriot Tom Brady Brown said he and Brady have stayed in touch after building a relationship with one another in New England during the receivers 10 days staying with the Patriots Quote.
You've gotta have a relationship with your quarterback.
Quarterback is everything.
I just think Tom Brady's a special quarterback, Brown said.
His leadership is affecting the guys around and putting guys at peace and encouraging them to work as hard as he works.
Brown was asked if he's spoken to Brady about playing together.
Brown just simply said Quote, We would like to make it happen.
Brown's comment shouldn't come with should come with scrutiny, as his behavior has been erratic over the last year.
But he and Brady are both set to be free agents in March, when the 2020 league year begins.
Brady is a pending free agent who must wait until the league here to sign a new team sign with a new team.
Brown consign at any time because he's already a free agent.
The NFL has a maid indication that it will suspend Brown for the allegations and accusations, but if he returns to a team, he would have to serve that suspension before Plane in a regular season game.
At this point in time, I just don't want to say about Antonio Brown anymore.
I mean, I really don't.
It's he needs mental health help.
I heard a great comparison.
It was, um, Skip Bayliss and not compared to big green ****ysis.
It was Skip Bayliss and Shannon Sharpe talking about Antonio Brown.
And basically, he said, If you need Antonio Brown, he will be Abie.
If you don't need him, then he'll be Antonio Brown. He'll be apologetic.
He'll be, you know, normal.
Um, as soon as he got a tryout with the Saints, he went on a B again.
The guy he needs help, man.
It's that simple.
And he can believe he's gonna play with Tom Brady all he wants.
Brady has to understand.
As good as Antonio Brown is, he's so erratic.
I don't know if he'll if you ever play a whole season the NFL again without getting himself in trouble.
I've got some news for those of you who care.
This comes from Jack Brown on the score today, but there's a report out there.
The Charlie Strong has joined the Alabama staff.
Is the defensive Allen an ****yst? To me, it's kind of big news.
Former South Florida head coach Charlie Strong has agreed to join Nick Saban, staff at Alabama as a defensive ****yst.
Chris Lowe, on ESPN reports.
Ah Strong went to Alabama's campus last week to me was saving Several other SEC teams reportedly courted strong for coordinator ****yst roles, but he will instead become the latest former head coach snapped up by the Crimson Tide.
The likes of Lane Kiffin, Mike Locksley and Steve Sarkisian were once hired after losing their head coaching jobs.
Sarkeesian remains with the program.
Is Alabama's offensive coordinator.
The 59 year old spent three seasons at South Florida following stints with Texas and Louisville.
He was fired in December after a disappointing foreign eight campaign.
Strong produced a 74 52 record and four bull game victories in 10 years.
Is a full time ah head coach.
He had to 10 plus winds seasons at Louisville That was in 2012 and 2013 and want US staff pitches in 2017.
So back to the NFL.
Now the Carolina Panthers are actually coming out, and they believe that Cam Newton will likely pass his physical in March Is going from Child Mary the score.
Carolina Panthers believe the Cam Newton is likely to pass his physical and will be cleared for some football activity in March.
Ah source told ah source told Jordan or Rodriguez of the Athletic Noon is continuing his recovery for AH list Frank injuried on his left foot.
Due to the nature of the injury, The Panthers will reportedly be cautious about his return to full time team activities, according to Rodriguez, and having discussing limitations in early April and May workouts.
After battling through a shoulder injury and 2018 Newton was limited to two games in 2019 due to the foot injury.
He underwent surgery in December after a failed rehabilitation that spanned for months.
Panthers owner David Tepper said last week that Nunes rehab would determine Carolina status.
That quarterback in 2020.
The overwhelming number one thing is that he is healthy and how they can figure out when he's healthy or not, and everything will be because of that.
In the past two campaigns, the former M V P started 16 games six and 10 amassing 3900 and 67 yards and 24 touchdowns against 14 interceptions.
He also posted 486 yards of four scores on the ground.
New News 30 has one season left on his contract.
The Patriots could ER the Panthers could save 19 million dollars against their salary cap by trading or releasing him and that they did release him.
That would be a very interesting thing for the NFL because Cam Newton is kind of damaged goods, in a sense.
But at the same time, if you had the opportunity to say sign Cam Newton and get him staying at some sort of a discount, that would be a very intriguing and really sort of.
I think a lot of teams will want to jump that opportunity.
I mean, you're talking about a former everything you're talking about a guy who brought his team to the Super Bowl at one point and if his injury days were behind him, and there's nothing saying that he is or isn't.
But if his entry days are behind him, he could be a really solid piece for some team somewhere.
Now, there's another report coming out that the Cardinals have Ain't Humphries to a three year, $45 million deal.
The Arizona Cardinals have signed D.
J Humphrey to a three year, $45 million contract, keeping the left tackle from hitting free agency's.
A source told Michel Roth flow of the NFL network.
The agreement reportedly contains 20.
My $9 million in guaranteed money Humphries Annuals average salary of $15 million is about one million lasted the projected fee for offensive lineman eligible for the franchise tag I'm for use 26 is coming off one of the one of his best NFL seasons, he said.
His improved play was significant for the Cardinals squad that's looking to develop Ricky Quarter quarterback Kyle Marine, 2019.
Arizona drafted Humphries out of Florida and the 24th with the 24 selection in his first round in the 2015 NFL draft.
Mmm, where we at here? I think that's all the rial news or anything that's coming out from anywhere right now.
That's really sort of crucial impressing at this moment.
And ah, that's really it.
I've got nothing left to say.
The voice box has taken a beating.
The drink is helping a little bit.
I think that at some point I got to take like, a week off and just, like rest the voice box.
I was reading a thing today about now.
It's just everything starts finding the but at this 30 minute mark in my show my voice box starts to give out.
It starts getting more grungy.
I can feel that I start getting exhausted.
I was reading the thing today, saying that people who are like, in radio or like me that does blog's and flogs every day in that kind of thing.
You know, after a couple years of doing it straight all the time, it can really strain your vocal cords.
And when you start getting like that, you need to take Lake a couple days off.
Rest did not do anything.
So what I figure is, is I'm going away in April.
We're at the end of February.
So my entire week that I'm away in Florida.
I'm not gonna do any.
Last year I was blogging from Florida.
I'm not gonna vlog from Florida to take that whole week off and just let those vocal cords rests and just let them kind of chill out.
So it's just been weird.
It's never affected me like this before, and then all of a sudden it's just gotten a lot where over the last little bit, it's basically I just tired out my I'm just tired.
My vocal cords you're tired.
Um, I guess, you know, I'm sure cigarettes, and that kind of stuff does now, but I'm sure catching the pneumonia didn't help or not them.
But I guess three years of logging, um, you know, is what does it? Thanks, Marcus.
I really appreciate it.
Um, I think I got some questions today on Instagram, so I'm gonna look at those real quickly.
If you guys have any questions, you can throw it up on the thing.
Have I upset make chicken blog's.
Did he leave? Why do you get a lot of questions? All right.
Do you think that trading our number one to the bears for both their twos and a four would be the best trade option? Yeah, man, if the Bears would do that, of course.
Of course. Would be a great deal.
But the pages are gonna have to give up Maur than just their first round pick to get two twos and a four, They probably have to give up like a first and 1/3 maybe more to get two twos.
Two second round picks is valuable.
Valuable draft pick.
Valuable draft, please.
I mean, two twos is worth way more than the 23rd overall pick, but I'd be amazing.
Um, should the Patriots get a speed guy like the Marcus Robinson or Ah, Henry rugs? Yeah, I kind of talked about this to my show last night.
The patriots need to do the exact opposite in to kill Harry.
No, not gonna kill Harry like, but what I'm saying is you have your big man.
Now, you know, you got your big boy.
Now you gotta bring in the little speedster.
That's what I'm getting that So Ah, there we go.
Um, Dr Jacob Eason I want to dry.
I want to draft Jordan, love.
By the way, guys, I did a, um I did a m a mock draft tonight simulation on fan sided, and I will be sharing you the results of my draft.
I did two of them. I did want the ***.
The 2nd 1 was actually better than the 1st 1 but I'm gonna share the 1st 1 because he kind of half wrote the blogged about it.
So, um so you gotta go.
What's your sister like? That's from my sister.
So what's my sister like that she really want me to answer this on my show? The good news is I don't think anybody in my family actually watches the show.
So I could really say anything I want about her.
Ah, if you want to follow her on Instagram, I have no idea what her tag is.
Krista Patricia C h r I S t a p a t r i c I a Chris stop, Patricia.
My name is Krista.
Route C h r i s t a r u t h.
Give her a follow on instagram and just let her know Your brother gave me your tag and gave me your handle.
It's for my boy markets.
I think it's Marcus is a Marcus.
Did this come from Marcus trying to figure it out? Give me a second.
Yeah, this is Marcus Ray.
Did you watch masterworks? Video? It's awesome.
You will love it.
I watch everything that master it works does.
And I always, always, always encourage people to watch.
Ah, master work.
Marcus wants to know.
Do you ever want to Do you ever want to go skydiving? No markets? Are you insane? Are you out of your mind.
I don't want You want me to jump out of a plane? This beautiful face.
I will gladly watch people skydive.
I will watch Bobby do the flying suit.
I'm being funny too.
For I'm terrified of heights.
Say terrified of heights.
Too many people are falling on Twitter and Instagram now.
Ah, Will you still like Brady? Even if he doesn't play for the Patriots? Ah, it's the fear of falling, Joe.
I guess it's not the heights.
It's the fear of falling.
Unlike Sheldon Cooper, I'm not scared of being high.
Could I stand on my parents balcony and I'm okay? It's when I'm somewhere.
I think I can fall.
I hate flying number one.
Me going skydiving.
Oh, my God! Mego and skydiving number one.
I got to get in a plane which terrifies me.
It's Ah, I don't like being high.
I, um we're driving to Florida for the first time.
We usually fly, were driving for the first time, and I'm not looking for it.
It's like a 21 hour drive from where I live and, um yeah, it's 21 hour drive.
We're going to stop in Georgia on the way there, and we're gonna We're gonna stay in Savannah overnight, and then we're gonna do the rest of the way.
So we're doing a halfway.
Savannah is about, like, is about I think 16 or 17 hours from us, we're gonna leave here, like, three in the morning.
Drive to Georgia, Go, you know, sleep in Georgia for the night, and then drive the rest in the morning.
Our late in the day call sleeping in Georgia.
Um, as much as that sucks, we, um I don't have to get a plane, so I'll deal with it.
Yeah, and I'll deal with it.
Ah, Will you still like Brady? Even if he doesn't play for the Patriots? Yeah, like Brady.
I won't wish anything good for him.
I don't want him to win the Super Bowl.
I don't want himto, You know, I just hope he doesn't get hurt or nothing like that. But I cheer for the patriots.
I don't cheer for individual players.
What? I mean, like, I'm a football fan.
I'm a big fan of Odo back in, junior.
I'm a big fan of J.
Watt. I'm a, you know, a huge fan of all the Watt brothers.
I'm a huge fan of the boast of brothers.
I mean, I'm in Ohio State guys, so Ah, love Bos. I love Zeke.
You mean like it's I cheer for those guys but doesn't mean I'm gonna cheer for their teams? Doesn't mean I'm not sure.
If I don't want Zeke to win a Super Bowl, he could have won the national championship.
Would have been fine with that.
You know, boast that could have one. It's a national championship.
Would have been fine with that.
But I don't want him Thio by any means do.
I wanted to win a Super Bowl controller Large.
Be a good quarterback for the Patriot if they draft him.
You know what, my boy Tyson masterworks.
He believes Trevor Lawrence's is the answer.
He wants the Patriots that Tyson wants two pages to tank this season.
And Dr Trevor Laurence he could be man.
I mean, most guys could come out high in the draft can be game changers.
It all depends on the situation that they could put into put Daniel Jones on the Patriots again.
Another guy that I said put him on the Patriots.
Daniel Jones goes to the Patriots.
I bet you he develops to be a great quarterback.
I bet you Jimmy Garoppolo is a Tier one quarterback, not a tear to if he stays in New England just the way Josh McDaniels and Tom Brady handle their business or Josh McDaniels.
Bill Belichick handle their business.
You know Patrick Mahoney's if he gets drafted, if he gets drafted, too Buffalo instead of Kansas City? Is Patrick Mahomes winning Super Bowls of Buffalo? Probably not.
So that's the way I kind of look at things that all depends on where a player plays.
So I'm a Jumper.
Lawrence could work.
Are you guys got anything? And what about sports? Guys have got anything.
Otherwise, that's it, man.
Well, you asked me about Bridgewater.
What did you miss? Mo Bridgewater.
Bobbie's asked me something about Teddy Bridgewater.
Bobby asked me again.
00 Ryan. Family was a guy, too.
I remember Joe, remember you and I having back and forth about Ryan Finley me saying and I saying that He could be fine with the Patriot.
Could be a a guy with the Patriots.
All right, I'm gonna give you guys a little sneak peek of my mock draft that I did tonight.
You may not be happy, but I don't care.
With the 23rd overall pick, I picked edge rusher clave on chasing Chasen chasing out of L s U.
I think that the Patriots need a Ned rusher.
Jordan love wasn't available when I made my pic, so I won't chase him with the 87th overall pick.
Now, I didn't pay for the ah upgrade, so I couldn't trade or anything to try to get into a second round pick.
So I had to go with what the Patriots got with my third round pick, 87th overall.
It took tight end Jared Pinkney at a Vanderbilt. He's a guy.
I think I've talked to a lot with the 97th overall pick.
I took wide receiver Van Jefferson out of Florida.
If I could do it over again, I would take a J Hill cause he was available.
But I took Jefferson my 99th overall.
I took Ezra Cleveland from Boise state.
He's a guard 122nd overall.
I took Jordan Brooks, the linebacker at Texas Tech, 190 fifth overall.
I dropped the ball. I panicked.
I didn't want to lose them.
I took kicker Rodrigo Blankinship in my second draft.
I took him with my final pick of the draft.
Um, I think that he'll probably go in the seventh round, but I picked them in the sixth with my first pick in the sixth, 204th overall.
It took safety Patrick Nelson.
Patrick Nelson, after doing some research on him, could be a very good late round draft pick for the Patriots.
Um, when I do my reveal my full draft tomorrow night, Um ah, I'll do it.
Um, I'll gifts of detail tomorrow night when I do my full breakdown.
Ah, and I'm 102 112th overall.
Tookie Andre Jones, a linebacker, 213th overall.
I took defensive lineman Robert Windsor, who could be another big, late round pick.
I thought you took Windsor on both my drafts.
Then I took wide receiver Kendrick Rogers with the 230th overall, the Texas A and M 235th overall.
It took offensive tackle Terrence Steal a Texas Tech to taxes tax guys.
And then I took tight and Mitchell Wilcox with my final pick of the seventh round, the 230 41st overall.
So Ah, Yemen, it's Ah, it's gonna be Ah, it's a lot to write, though, man like I may be honest with you guys.
I've written because I got I write for, like, I prepare for this show.
But I also write for, um, protect emo hole and I'm gonna be 100% honest with you guys.
I have written up to the third round.
I've still got two right for 12345678 more guys and I just want to write to be continued and all right, it because it's already getting tiresome.
It's already been a lot of writing, man blogged writing sounds fine, and it is fun when you're just spit balling anything you want, like the whole Dany Amendola thing.
When you just spit balling your own thoughts, it's like, Oh, yeah, all right, whatever you want.
You know it's all fun when you got it.
Actually, research on draft picks and players.
It's like, Ah, God, that's where I am right now in my life.
But it's okay, man.
It's all good in the hood.
All right, guys.
Uh, does that site offer you trades? I did fan speak dot com and paid for trades.
I did fan speak to I didn't pay for trades, Joe.
I was just way too cheap.
I pay for so much stuff on sports.
Let's pay pay for sports track.
I pay for the athletic I pay for, um ah, football guy.
I paid for so much stuff.
I was like, Man, I cannot pay for Ah, uh I can pay for fan speaks.
Oh, I chipped out.
Joe achieved out and I just went with what I had.
But I finally have a draft board.
Teams want to trade down with New England like they want New England trading down or they wanted.
They want New England trading up.
And you mean the first round because you know what? That news that came out yesterday about the dolphins not being interested in maybe not taken to, uh is going to kind of change the whole draft board.
And I think Jordan love could fall to the pages at 23.
And I know that Phil about *** not gonna take him.
But I'm gonna harp on him the same way that I harped on Lamar Jackson so that when it happens and he turns into a good quarterback, I can say I told you, Jordan love with the guy to pick the trade with New England.
I have Baltimore, Casey and Miami and Chicago in the past.
Marks trading them down.
Oh, that's interesting.
Maybe I will pay for them.
I've done two drafts.
I might actually pay for them.
And see, uh, I'm gonna try the drive network to you.
Gotta pay for their premium stuff, too, with the trades.
But maybe I'll pay for both, and I go from there.
That's the kind of the perfect way to end this off.
Thank you so much, guys, for tuning into the show.
And I thank you.
The SportsCastrs forgiving me the opportunity to come out here each and every night and talk to Pats Nation.
I appreciate Thank you, all of you.
Whether you're Patriots fan or football fan, it doesn't really matter.
Thank you all Raiders to make common.
I totally agree about Taison and about our patriots winning ways.
All right, Marcus, I got your body rock on.
Thank you so much for tuning in to the show, man.
You guys all great? What if you guys would be a big, fat, overweight fans screaming to a microphone? You guys show me the love you guys were.
The reason I do this every day.
That and the paycheck.
So thank you so much for tuning in.
