Welcome to the stream.
Think of joining in S O. Today.
I'm breaking down the Ohio State Buckeyes 2020 football schedule.
This has been what I've been thinking about.
Rotten looking forward to a lot to do, obviously, because I like Ohio State myself.
Uh, obviously start out again.
Recap 2019 season.
It was a great season.
Started out pretty dominant with an easy schedule.
They had some dead.
Some, you know, tough games down the stretch in the Big 10 But they were able to be Penn State.
They beat Michigan.
It beat Wisconsin twice.
Ah, and they won the Big 10 championship and they went 13 they went to the playoffs.
They end up losing to Crump's and obviously very close.
When a heartbreaker was supposed to be a revenge game for them, came very close, just made some key mistakes.
They complained about the cause a little bit, and the calls weren't great.
But then again, they made a lot of mistakes that hurt themselves.
They really shot themselves in the foot in that game.
You can't blame the refs too much, So anyway, well, I would stay a great season Last year under Ryan Day.
I mean, at first it year, head coach.
They played fantastic.
They did not get upset like they had that couple years before in conference play.
They played very well, Made it back to the playoff.
Um, you know, they're losing a lot of guys who were great on that team last year.
The losing chase Young Chase young on the defensive line.
They're losing Jeff.
Oh, Kudo their quarterback who is incredible.
Paused a top five, Possibly top three pick.
Ah, you know, no gonna lose J.
Dobbins Air running back along with other guys.
Obviously, um well, you know, still higher state of the losing a lot of guys.
You know, Lawd Town.
Ah, but they're gonna be getting a lot of people back.
Ah, like, obviously, Garrett Wilson Krystle Ave with wide receiver corps.
Most importantly, Justin Fields is coming back for another season at the core back position.
That's very important running back game.
You know, they only they only really have. Master Teague.
You're not fantastic.
Not nearly as grace.
Just Jake a dolphin's.
We'll have to see how they do with him.
Um and the defense should be pretty good.
I mean, they are losing some guy's butt like players like Sean Wade, they're coming back.
Ah, so overall, you know a tough way to go out.
Last season, they had a great season, but they're gonna be very hungry this year.
They'll be very determined, but their schedules not very easy, expected there out of conference schedule is one tough game and they're in conference schedule.
In my opinion, Constance Year.
Besides Wisconsin, it's kind of actually kind of.
It's kind of hard when you look at it, so it's a little bit hard than it was last used in, so we'll see how they dio tougher schedule.
But again, there's still a great team as usual.
Always, always dominant over the Big 10 in the last 10 years, been a very great program, so I'll start out right away.
Ah, Bull and Green.
The first game on the first week, the season that should be no problem.
It's on a Saturday easy game, bowling green one.
The worst teams in all the FBS.
They'll get the stump pretty easily without any trouble.
I have Ohio State winning. We grow on easily.
Um, you know, they can probably rest some of their starters cause in Week two you have at Oregon and it's maybe the biggest.
You can argue at Penn State.
But at Oregon's not gonna be easy.
I really think both of these teams, no matter what the outcome as long as it's close, can make the playoff, especially if Ohio State loses in a close one.
I really think if they were to run the table after that game in a close one, if they lost, they would be able to get back in.
But even origin, they have a great schedule.
But I still think if they play too close and it lost, they could still get in.
So I'm expecting both these teams to make the playoffs, to be honest, along with either an SEC, along with like clumps in an SEC team.
Probably Georgia, but maybe Alabama in there to Ah, so we'll see how this one goes.
I think it's gonna be I think it's gonna be exciting, very exciting game.
The thing is, it's at Oregon.
It's a home and home series, so Ohio State will host Oregon and 2021.
This year's at Oregon's gonna be really tough.
Uh, Oregon has a fantastic recruiting class.
I'm a friend of my class on one of my classes who is a big Orient fan.
He keeps me up to date with all the Oregon stuff going on.
He's a huge Oregon fan, eh? So he knows them well, but they have a great recruiting class petty school on that offensive line.
He's coming back.
He, you know he's probably gonna win the best offensive linemen of the year next year.
Again, I think you want it this year.
Ah, so you know he'll he'll? Probably another award next year.
They are losing Justin and Herbert, though. They're losing Herbert.
That's a big thing because he's a top 10.
Probably draft pick.
He's a great player, eh? So we'll see what happens.
You know, it's gonna be hard for them without Herbert.
They still they still have a pretty good wide receiver corner of a decent run game.
I'm a pretty good name, a very good defense that would definitely be improved, so it's hard to tell because they have a love tell or again that being said though they do, they did play an easy schedule last year.
They had some close calls.
Um, it's early in the season without Herbert.
So again, it's gonna be tough.
Both teams were gonna be trying to find their rhythm rhythm.
If Oregon wins, I want to be shocked.
But I'm taking Ohio State to win this game.
Just cause you know, Oregon was a Oregon was, you know, against the really during the regular season eight of quite a few close calls, and I think they'll be better.
I just don't know if they'll be able to play up to Ohio State because playing Ohio State and playing was called the difference between playing Ohio State and playing Wisconsin.
That's a big difference.
I think they're probably a little bit very confident that they beat Wisconsin by one in the Rose Bowl, but I still don't think they'll be able to beat Ohio State.
But again, you know, he wouldn't be a huge shocker if they beat Ohio State.
But again, I'm expecting Ohio State to win this one, Um, crystal ball.
I believe it's only is like 30.
It's gonna be his 30 year coaching Oregon, so he's still route relatively.
Ah, younger coach and your coach, but he's doing a great job with that team.
So, too, And over Ohio State, next game, a Buffalo, you get to arrest a little bit.
Buffalo will be an easy one.
Um, I really don't think there'll be any trouble there.
It's just a Mac team, and it's a home game for them.
I have Ohio State winning by quite a lot in this one.
Ohio State starts out three.
You know, Rutgers.
Rutgers is probably even easier than Buffalo.
I mean, Rutgers might be the easiest team on the schedule.
Maybe bowling green.
Little bit easier, but Rutgers just absolutely terrible.
They show no signs of getting any better.
I'll take Rutgers, but I mean, I'll take Ohio State beating Rutgers by quite a few scores.
S O. You know, Ohio State wins that one.
Next, you have the via week.
Unfortunately for Ohio State, there's only one bye week this upcoming season for teams, and it comes that not a great time because they're coming off like too easy games.
I'm sure they would rather have it during the middle of the season, like right before Penn state, but obviously, yet you have no control of that.
Next game up Iowa.
I was losing a lot of guys.
They're losing a Jasper Nests on the defense and they're losing their quarterback mate.
Stanley is pretty experienced, and it's a home game for Ohio State.
Last time they played Iowa, they got blown out.
But that was in Kinnick Stadium on, and I feel like Ohio State's more talented.
It's gonna be a home game, and I feel like I was less talented.
They've been pretty good.
They're gonna be as good as Ohio State next season.
Defense is still OK, but they are losing.
Like I've said ESP.
Inessa is pretty good, so I think that I think that will hurt them well.
But I have Ohio State Wing that came at Michigan State.
They lost Mark Dantonio.
Obviously, they have a new coach from Colorado.
Uh, I don't think we'll be that great.
They have an OK recruiting class.
Ah, but they weren't that great.
This past seasonal on Lee won six and six and struggled with the law.
The bad teams in the Big 10.
I think Michigan will beat them this year.
I think Alive State can get the job done at East Lansing.
I just don't feel like Michigan State's in a position right now where they're gonna be a buddy. Great.
I think they might be bad enough that they lose to Miami next year.
Um, and you know, Miami's in allowed turmoil, too.
But Michigan State is, you know, they're having problems as well.
So I have Ohio State winning this one.
Here's the Here's the other big one.
So besides from Oregon, the really huge game this season is at Penn State now, unlike Oregon, who I feel like has improved a little bit.
Aside from the quarterback position, I feel like Penn State's declined, and I don't think people understand people already hyping this game up, saying It's a 50 50 game.
I understand it's in Happy Valley doubt That definitely helps spend state.
But Penn State is losing some guys.
I mean, they're wider sea for course, not gonna be very good.
They're losing KJ Handler, who is by far the best wide receiver.
Last year he was a very, very speedy rider, Supervalu.
They're losing him.
I think they're losing another wide receiver to the transfer transfer portal.
I mean, you've got You've got Pat Fry myth of the tight end position.
He's pretty good Besides from now.
I mean, you only have many got great guys to throw two and a quarterback.
You know, he's getting more experience, just good, but it's still kind of average big tank.
Um, besides, from that, though, they're pretty good.
I mean, look at quarterback.
I want to see record the throw.
The past game overall might not be great.
The good thing is, though, they do have at the wrong game, they've journey Brown.
That's a good thing.
They have Johnny Brown at the run game.
Um, he's a pretty good running back. He's coming back.
He I was pretty good there. Bull game.
That's the one good thing they have.
And also on the defense.
Defense is pretty good.
You have Michael Parsons returning, so those two guys, Michael Parsons and Journey Brown they need to make a big impact if they want a beat Ohio State.
I think it's gonna be a close one, obviously, especially because it's in Penn State.
But then again, I don't I feel like Ohio State.
Just a better team overall.
And you know, I mean, the last the last few years before this year, it was always a one point game or Penn State one a few years ago.
This year's 11 point game.
I think Ryan Day might make a little bit bigger of a gap between the two teams.
Um, so I have Ohio State one in this room and I don't know Franklin can't live up to his team to live up to the hype.
So I'm taking Ohio State to win this one again, though, if you know they realistically, the I wouldn't be shocked if they split Oregon and Penn State.
They split one of those, too.
Um, I think Penn State's not to be great next season, though.
Either way, even if they beat Ohio State, I think, um, I think that I think Michigan's gonna be pound state next year, but still, it does help you at home.
So that's the one thing.
I have Ohio State winning in a close one.
Alright, Nebraska is the This is a home game for Ohio State.
Hold up one sec guys.
Sorry about that. Just do something.
Ah, home game for Ohio State.
Nebraska was very overhyped office pasties.
And if you watch my one of my latest videos, I crown them as the most as the most disappointing team in 2019 cause they really were weren't even bowl eligible.
I only thing, they're gonna be very good this upcoming season.
Maybe six and 67 and five at most.
I think 75 is reasonable.
They have a good coach and Scott Frost, but they're not doing much of that talent.
Give her a house that you know it.
They the besides from this, you know, in 18 4017 I will say they did struggle with Big 10 West opponents. Obviously.
In 2017 they lost at Iowa 2018.
They lost at Purdue, and those are two Big 10 West opponents.
So you know another Big 10 West opponent here? I mean, the difference is, though, it's at home, and I just don't think Nebraska live up to the hype.
I don't think, Ryan, I don't I don't think it's gonna be a trap game for them.
I feel like especially if they're gonna lose to a Big 10 to 10 West team.
It would be on the road.
Ah, but you know, we will see, I I think Ohio State will get this job done, though on Ryan Day.
Um, he's he's been handling the pressure pretty good.
So I think I'll win this game.
Indiana India had a pretty good season.
This, uh, this past season nearly beat Penn State finished eight and five overall, Nearly won their bowl game against Tennessee.
Lost to the last second.
Though, Uh, we'll see how in years next year I think they're not gonna be.
I think that I don't really think they're gonna be as good as they were this season.
I think maybe a six and six seasons reasonable for them.
They do have a tough scheduled after plaque.
Wisconsin, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan.
Those probably are all losses off the bat.
We'll see how they do.
Ah, but the home give her Ohio stabbed him.
They won this one by a couple about Maryland. You know, 2018.
A nearly beat Ohio State this past season.
It was an absolute blowout in the horse.
Remember watching that game? It was funny.
I think I have stayed a hung 73 points on them, and that's what, like that's what, like playing their backups in the second half.
It was It was absolutely crazy.
Um, very, very easy for the Buckeyes.
I think it would be pretty using this time around against at Maryland.
Don't think will make a difference, though.
So I've Ohio State winning that game at Illinois.
This is a Big 10 West team, and again, like I said on Ohio State in the past, when they're on the road, hasn't done the rate against big against Big 10 West teams.
It's late in the season, so you know Illinois could try to pull off a big upset here.
They're going to be an average team next season, probably around six and six again, we'll see.
Ah, but I think the Buckeyes will be prepared at this point towards the end of season.
I think will be locked in.
It was constant last year.
I'm sure we'll have still won't make the same mistakes, but I mean, if they were lose to a Big 10 West team again.
It usually happens on the road, but I still think a lower still would, Uh, and finally Michigan.
I really don't need to talk about this game too much.
I think most people know who's gonna win this game.
I mean, it's like I said from Michigan.
It's like an 11 game season kind of row House State to be is right now that Michigan game is doesn't even really matter at this point.
I mean, it's a big rivalry game, but a lot of statements they want for, like the past eight years.
Ah, I think this will be an automatic when it's in the horseshoe.
I mean, they have their more talented Overall.
I think Michigan, with their schedule, could possibly come into this game having a chance to win win the Big 10 East title.
I think they might have lost us to like Minnesota coming into this game.
That might be all, Um so I think Michigan will at this point may be eligible to make the Big 10 title game if they win.
Ah, but I don't think they're gonna win anyway.
I think they got blown out.
I think will be probably a 24 maybe 30 point win for Ohio State, and I'm being realistic there. I'm not.
I'm not joking around.
1 for Ohio State this past season in the big House.
I will see a changing under Harbaugh.
I really don't think Mister misses the year Michigan wins.
It's gonna probably be like a down year for Ohio State.
I would imagine it's a year where Ohio State is in a complete, really rebuild, maybe after day leaves or something like that.
But right now, I don't think, um, I don't think Michigan will have a chance against a lot of states like Ohio State within this one in the ah Horseshoe.
So overall, 12 you know, obviously would make it to the Big 10 title game.
We'll see who they play if they make the Big 10 title game.
I'm trying to be realistic.
I could see 11 and one happening.
Um, again they might split the Penn State Oregon.
Ah, those two games because they're both on the road.
Ah, but realistically, they should be favored in every game and just my opinion should be favored in every game.
If they were, if they went out with this, they probably will be the number one seed going the playoffs because this is kind of a tough schedule, to be honest.
Besides, from dropping Wisconsin most, the schedule is a little bit harder than it was this past season.
But still, I just don't from being honest.
It could be close to some of these games. Could be close.
But I see Ohio State one of them also that just my prediction on.
I think later today I might do in Oklahoma.
So I get that one.
Probably done in, like, an hour to open anyway.
That's it for now, guys, thanks for joining in, but guys 12.
I know some people have different opinions on it, but I I think that's a realistic scheduled prediction.
That's it for now.
Guys think of joining in
