And welcome back to another.
Broadcasters were trying to continue trying to get a lot of broadcasts on the grind off.
Yesterday, I did a broadcast in today.
I'm gonna be doing one on the signs stealing scandal, the biggest thing going on in baseball right now.
It's the most talked about thing, for sure, and it's all over everywhere.
Um, this is something big in sports.
Cheating is something that's a part of every everything, pretty much a lot of sports life.
It's a thing that you that in sports you can choose to do or choose not to do.
And in this case, it is a sad story of a team that won a World Series and cheated their way into the world.
Siris, and to win the World Series, cheated.
The Houston Astros were a team in 2017.
That one Ah, a great amount of games.
They had a great team and then won the World Series, and everybody was so amazed.
And then we find out in around November that this team sheeted their way throughout the season.
They cheated for that whole year, cheated into the World Series, and everybody's reaction was, Wow, Houston Astros players denying it.
Um, for a while, it was kind of unheard of cheating like this.
I mean, we saw some signs stealing work the guy at second base with Peking and give singles like maybe a pat on the head.
Or he would move over to step something like that to the hitter, which is not really cheating because you're technically not really using video camera two biology, anything like that.
I kind of just playing the game.
And I think that's okay to a certain amount.
But the Astros took it too far.
They were using trash cans.
It was reported they were using trashcans, the banging of the trash cans to seeing know which pictures coming into the hitter.
And that is a big, big advantage to the hitter to know what pitch is coming.
Whether it's a knuckle ball, fastball, curveball, Ah, splitter, sinker, any pitch.
There's so many pitches that you that for some pictures, it's like five that you have to think about which one's coming.
But in this case, they already know what the trash can banging.
There was a thing like, Oh, well, everybody does that they just took it to another level and they were smart about it.
But no, you cannot take it that far.
That's just way beyond that's way too easiest.
They gave all her girlfriends on Marcus.
That is just way to be on cheating.
That's definitely cheating.
And in sports, you see it.
We saw the steroid error earlier in baseball and football.
There was the holding about the Flake eight, which I don't even want to get into that right now because that's the whole thing with the doing All Patriots.
I don't believe they did it, but there's there's stuff like this that gets out there.
Um, there's a bunch of different stuff, Um, but for baseball, they have not experienced stuff for a little while from steroid era.
It's been a little bit, and now we're looking at the Astros, who just cheated their way.
Uh, what is three years ago? Now they've made it.
They've been so great.
The players were involved and, uh, Alex Core, the bench coach involved the That's when the Red Sox fired him.
That's the whole thing, Whether the Red Sox, they're not, they're investigating the Red Sox.
Still, I'm not sure about that.
I definitely know the Astros were cheating because it's out there now.
The players were apologizing with to the media and stuff and to everybody.
To the Astros fans, Um, I would say that I don't really know whether or not the Red Sox cheated.
Kind of saying that they may or may not have used, like, been peeking out at the signs, Maybe using video evidence.
It doesn't look like it is another case from the Astros.
It's not as bad, in my opinion, um, but for the Astros over, Stay said With that, Um, there was stuff about Jose Altuve e the walk off against Aroldis Chapman, and they brought it up like I forget who was who said.
Or it was coded Ballenger of the dog owners who said, There's nobody who hits a fat who has a pitch off Aroldis Chapman to send you to the World Series and I think he's right about that because the way that happened to you saw hope Jose Altuve Iran in the basis and covering up his jersey and then they were looking was their buzzer in there and Then, before they had the trophy presentation and stuff, he went in and changed.
And that normally doesn't happen.
And that's why people were thing.
Did he throws buzzer down to the ever buzzer? The MLB, when they investigated, didn't find it.
The media was asking Jose Altuve that he denied having a buzzer.
They did admit that they were cheating.
When they come and they ask the players and you want to participate in this? There were some that said no, like Tony Camp.
He now on the Athletics said.
How or not excusing on the buttocks.
He said that he I was asked and said, No, I do not want to participate in the cheating and so they didn't use it for him, but they used it for a multitude of other players, and not to me.
It's just amazing, not a good way at all.
It's just amazing to think how you would sheet and get away with that and they did for a while.
And then to know that you're winning a world Siris by cheating just has to be an awful feeling.
Cody Bellinger said it.
He said that that's just messed up, and that's something that we're also gonna get into later in this broadcast, Jim Creen was in there in his own media.
Talking to the media, said, We do not believe that this impacted our World Series title, just did not impact the team.
And my response to Jim Crane there is because right after that, he they asked him how did this not impact the game? And he said, I didn't say it didn't impact the game and somebody on get up the show on ESPN said, I forget who Waas and um I don't remember.
But he said he's so caught up in his own light that he doesn't even remember the truth.
And it's so true about it.
It just it's just to another level of cheating and it just It just makes me mad and it makes a lot of people mad.
A lot of people aren't happy about this, but as I'm saying for Jim Crane to say that that does not impact the game is the silliest, most unprofessional, terrible act.
When you're in front of the media and everybody else is apologizing and you're saying your opinion is that it didn't impact the game so you're telling me that you know when a page is coming and that does not impact the game? I think that that impacts the game, too.
Amount that is, that is undescribable.
It's your knowing when the pitch is coming.
I mean that the fact that the Dodgers were even able to compete with the Astros but is just just mind blowing that there, knowing when the pitch is coming, that just is mind blowing and the he's he's his exact quote was, um, and I quote this.
In our opinion, this did not impact the game end quote, and then he goes on to say that it does that I didn't say that.
So like I said, I like the guy.
He's so caught up in his own line that he doesn't even know what the truth is it more? I mean, it's so silly to think that you were stealing signs you knew when the picture was coming and you think that does not impact the game and whether or not Jim Cream was involved with this, which I'm not sure they haven't really found out much, they haven't punished handling.
They punished players that he would punish the coaches, and he took an extra shift and fire firing them.
Um, president of baseball operations and Manager A. J. Hinch.
Um, to me, if he was involved with this, I'm gonna say one thing I'm gonna say, Why would you even if that does not impact the gate, watch itchy? Why did she if it you thought it didn't impact the game? And you should let all this players know that Then if he was really not in bulk, then he should let his players No, uh, this is not gonna impact the game anyways, because if that's what you really believe and you can't come out and, uh and say on that, I apologize then that it's an unprofessional act by a manager in baseball today, you should come out what it should have done.
This came out and said, Hey, I am very sorry for on behalf of the Houston Astros as figured Kitty cat in heels during the bronchus on behalf of the Houston Astros.
I am very sorry for, um, for what took place over the 2017 season.
Behalf of our fans are, um, and the rest of baseball he could have went on, and he could have stayed in this and apologize.
But instead he comes out and says, In our opinion, this did not impact the game.
That, to me, is terrible by a baseball manager That is terrible, this unprofessional and cannot happen.
It's terrible Stephen A.
Smith was talking about.
He admit he made a severe point, that they should be stripped of the title and I to believe that they should definitely be script the title.
That title does not belong to that Houston Astros, whether or not they were gonna win if they had not stole signs.
We don't know that, but we cannot even think about that because you can't replay the world, Siris.
We can't do that cause there's new players on new teams.
We can replay it, but that that title should not belong to the Houston Astros.
I don't know where it goes from there, what happens, but it should 100% not belong to the Houston Astros who cheated.
They did not deserve that 2017 title and should take in a way, I don't believe at all at all that they should have that title that is not theirs.
They cheated and they thought that they needed to win by cheating.
And that shows that they did not deserve the title.
That's what I believe.
I think that now that we know that they haven't won the title, I think that, as I said, they should be stripped of the title.
There should be nothing there.
It should just be on whatever they're gonna put there for that year.
I don't know, because you don't really know what The Yankees of one with the Indians who played the Astros.
They believe that or Red Sox, who played the Astros that year as thank you can get in this following me on a hit you with that.
Follow the fact that, um, that they cheated and they should be out.
But we don't know what's gonna happen after that.
With the Dodgers, the Yankees, the Red Sox put the Astros thatyou're.
We don't really know what's gonna happen, but all I can say is that they should not have that title.
I don't know if you should necessarily be awarded to the Dodgers because technically they were probably cheating, gets the other teams to, but they should 100% not have that title whatsoever.
They should indefinitely be stripped off.
That definitely re stripped off that title for sure 100% no debate about it.
I'm so surprised they haven't gone into and they haven't script them of the title just doesn't make sense to me.
The punishments that they received.
I don't believe that they are harsh enough.
I think that he gave them a zoo, said immunity.
He did not give them like a severe severe punishment.
He took away draft picks and stuff on this, kind of like the 1919 scandal against the White Sox.
I think that there's a lot that goes into this, but I think you have to ban the players that were involved.
I think you have to ban them for a certain amount of time on the team, for sure, at least a couple of games.
I think e I think it's not right that they are able to play.
I think that Jim Crane uh should they should Maur investigate his science, see if he was involved because if so, he should definitely ah beast stripped of something, whether it's ah, I don't know if he would be stripped of the ownership of the Houston Astros.
I doubt that would happen, but most likely some sort of punishment that punishes him for his actions.
So that's what I believe.
I am very, very mad about his response to the, um, science down scandal because Alex Bregman Jose Altuve a opening up Cody Bellinger, saying from the Dodgers saying that it was It was definitely it was not.
It was a rude act, pretty much from, ah, from Jim Krane.
It just wasn't professional.
That's the word that I want to use over and over was unprofessional for someone who is essentially a big boy.
Now he's he's a grown man and you can't live up to your apologies at stake.
You okay? It's for sending the thumbs up.
You're sending everything today? Um, a rock, A grown man, not not owning up to his responsibility and saying that we cheated.
Instead, he says we don't impact the game.
That is what makes me really, really mad.
Ah, the next part of this broadcast in the last part, is the Red Sox.
Were the Red Sox cheating? That's something that we can get into Afghanistan.
But I wanted to mention that they fired Outscore The Red Sox did because they knew he was probably gonna get so sort of suspension anyways, as a J.
Hinch can't manage any team for the next toe at the day after the World Series.
Um, I don't really know if the Red Sox were treating, as they said, but they're gonna investigate that.
The interim manager right now is Ro Ron Roenicke, I think, is he used to be, ah, coach, assistant coach, something like that for the Red Sox.
He's now the coach, the interim coach, and then they're going to find a good coach.
Uh, of course, Ron Rhona.
He was coach of the Brewers, and then he was, There's something going on there, so we don't really know what's gonna happen.
But I'm definitely not happy about this science down scandal.
I'm very glad that the MLB has done their investigation thoroughly and come out with a great report.
I think that they definitely need to be stripped of the title for sure.
Um, that is something that they really missed.
I think, though, after all they did and they did a great job of the ex Invest investigation.
As I said, they didn't They did not strip them of their pedal and think that that is the big punishment.
I think that you have to take into consideration that no one wanted pictures.
Coming, as I said, is the big thing.
If you know any pitches coming, that gives you a huge advantage complete compared to the other teams, It's so such an advantage.
And it's like, just why did you cheat if you think it wasn't gonna impact game Jim Crane? That's the big thing for sure, but that's that's pretty much it for that broadcast.
They just wanted to go over like the science dealing scandal and everything involved.
Hopefully, we get a minute might get a broadcast later on tonight on the U.
And ah, World Game, you say Rising Stars of World Game Later today.
We'll see about that.
Maybe some of the broadcast coming in the next few days on XFL tomorrow and then maybe on Sunday to the ex Development.
I have some other broadcasts I want to get out on on football.
Next year's Super Bowl prediction, which is really early, but I wanted to get into that.
Uh, I thought that would be interesting is thinking.
But boy, Truman, I'm withdrawing the bark has even though it's about to end.
I have a lot of about broadcasts that I want to get out there.
It's just on a matter of being able to do that.
So, uh, thank you for watching the broadcast, and hopefully we can get some new ones up there and I'm Nathan signing off.
